    Great service

    We hired special events of NE for our wedding October 6, 2024. We got the dessert plates, large dinner plates and rust/amber goblets. They delivered them a few days in advance and picked them up. I coordinated with Robert S. and he was great. I never had to worry about my rental with them. We would recommend them to anyone!

    Fantastic!

    We had a small, backyard wedding and Special Events of New England was AMAZING to work with. We rented a tent, several tables, chairs, linens, and trash receptacles. The guys who came out to set up the tent were incredibly nice and patient as we worked through where exactly we wanted the tent. They gave helpful suggestions as well. It's a bonus, too, that their pricing is incredibly reasonable! I'd highly recommend Special Events of New England for your next event.

    Great Quality and Service

    We used Special Events of New England to rent a tent, tables, chairs, linens, and all the pieces of the place settings for our backyard wedding. Bob was wonderful and responsive to work with. Delivery/set up and pickup were simple. The quality of everything was great. And it made our backyard wedding look very classy. I would recommend Special Events of New England for any event.

    Great Experience

    We used Special Events of New England for our outdoor wedding this past weekend. We rented a tent, chairs, tables, linens, dance floor, ect. and everything was perfect! Bob was a pleasure to work with and even when I felt my most annoying he never was phased and was nothing but polite and easy to work with. Everything arrived on time and as expected and was picked up without issue! I would 100% recommend this company and would work with them again in a heartbeat if I ever need rentals. Also their prices are by far the best around!

    Great Service and Prices

    Special Events was extremely accommodating to us - we changed our order several times before the day and they were always very prompt in updating the invoice. They also delivered a day earlier than they typically would to our venue. We were very happy with the quality and prices of the tables and chairs.

    Effortless and high quality

    Working with Bob at Special Events of New England was so easy. He worked with us to explain all of the little details and helped us pick the right tent size, dance floor, and decide on a table arrangements. We loved how everything looked and how seamlessly they work with the venue to make things just appear and disappear on site! We would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

    Great to Work with

    The whole team at Special Events was super friendly and helpful. They got us everything we needed at a reasonable price and were super accommodating when it came to delivery. The chairs we rented were clean and perfect for our barn wedding.

    Magical tent

    Magical tent, tables, chairs, linens, and potties! My wedding was in a huge backyard, And special events of New England brought me the most beautiful magical tent I could ever have imagined for my wedding day. They installed it flawlessly, they were so easy to work with and it was affordable. They have everything you need for rentals even the Porta potty’s.My wedding was amazing and was largely due to this vendor. I highly recommend them.

    Amazing Service!

    We booked Special Events of New England for our wedding which was held in my grandmother's back yard. Naturally, this means we needed a full tent, tables, chairs, kitchen equipment for the caterer; basically, we had to rent everything you would see in a restaurant. SENE was so helpful from start to finish with all the pieces we needed.
    Chris came out to do our site visit and was the most patient person I've ever met. I'm not exaggerating when I say that he walked the size of the tent 6 different times, in 6 different spots until I finally settled on where it should go. He was so kind and event went so far as to pull a second set of measuring tapes out so I can see the two different tent options on top of each other.
    Bob was amazing help at adjusting my rental order as needed and helping me with linen sizes and answering all my set up questions and electrical needs. He was super responsive and even went so far as to recommend a different dance floor color once he got to know my style. It was definitely a better choice than the original one I had picked out!
    The tent delivery and install was stress free with their amazing team. Chris again was on site and super patient, as I was making minor adjustments to where the tent was being placed that day.
    I really can't say enough wonderful things about them. I would highly recommend their service to anyone!

    Great Service!

    Our caterer recommended using Special Events for our linens and some rentals, and it was great working with them. Everything was great, correct, and delivered on time. Very reasonable prices!

    Special Events of New England was amazing! My parents and I used them for my backyard bridal shower in NH. We rented a 40x20 canopy tent, 32 antique cross-back chairs, extra wide rectangle tables, a farm table, and beige linens. Every single employee was super responsive and was patient when we changed our minds a few times! They were very helpful and had great suggestions along the way!! The tent arrived exactly on time and was set up perfectly. I would definitely suggest working with them!

    We had a small wedding in October 2017 of only 50 guests. Despite being such a small event, Special Events of New England still made us feel important. They were extremely easy to communicate with. I had actually declined a previous vendor (whom I had met in person) when their communication was not reliable. I am so glad that I decided to go with Special Events of New England instead! They worked with the coordinator of our wedding venue, so that I didn’t have to worry about the details of delivery and pick-up of the chairs. We had a DIY wedding, so we did set up and pack up the chairs on our own, but it was so easy to do. I was able to make all the arrangements in advance so that I could fully enjoy my wedding day. The white garden chairs were perfect for our indoor chapel ceremony, and though it sounds silly to have a fond memory of those white chairs, I think I always will!

    Professional and flexible! Bob helped us figure out exactly the rentals we needed for an open-air wedding (and rain plan) without pushing us to rent things we didn't need. Their rentals were very high-quality. Great value as well!

    From the start to the end we were pleased with the service and flexibility. When booking with Special events my recommendation, which they recommended too, was book everything you may think you will need, you can remove add and adjust quantities leading up but it can be harder to add if the items are no longer available.

    Our Caterer recommended Special Events of New England so we checked them out. They had everything we were looking for and their prices were reasonable. We worked with Robert who was very responsive, and accommodating. He made all the changes we requested and answered all my questions quickly and clearly. We ended up renting a 40 X 60 tent, lighting, a dance floor, a few tables, and all the chairs for our guests, as well as two farm tables and matching chairs for those. When we arrived at the venue everything was easy to set up. We did end up calling Robert the day before the wedding because we wanted to move the dance floor, but he was super accommodating, and made it a really simple change for us. He and his company were wonderful to work with.

    Bob Soucy and the entire staff of Special Events of NE were wonderful. I made probably a dozen changes and had so many questions about my order over about a year of planning, and he always responded right away and was very helpful and accommodating. I had done quite a bit of research into cost comparison for tents, chairs, porta potties, etc and the quote I got from Special Events was very competitive, plus they had the advantage of having a huge selection so I could order everything from them. And the customer service they provide is superior. I wholeheartedly recommend their company!

    I am so grateful we went with Special Events for all our rentals. Bob was great to work with. He was quick to respond and very helpful with his suggestions and ideas. We rented the sailcloth tent 51x111 for about 150 guests and it was more than enough room. The lighting they did in the tent was gorgeous and looked so amazing lit up at night. The tents and chairs were delivered and set up with no issues. I didn’t actually meet any of the delivery staff, but I heard very nice things about them. I highly recommend going with Special Events for any of your rental needs. I know my parents will definitely be using them in the future for any more events they host. They were great!!

    Bob of Special Events of New England provided lovely table linens, napkins, china and beautiful chairs for our August 5, 2016 wedding. We had our reception in a museum, so had to bring everything in from outside vendors, and Special Events of New England was great to work with. Bob was very knowledgeable, understanding and flexible: he even did a FaceTime session with us since we were out of state, so that we could see how everything in the showroom looked. We chose a lovely light olive colored table linen, and forest green napkins for a striking contrast, both of which complemented the beautiful floor of our venue. This was actually a color change from our initial order, but Bob helped us achieve the look we wanted, and the photographs of the room with the farmstyle tables look so elegant. We even had matching linens for our bartender stations. I highly recommend Bob's work!

    We used Special Events of New England for our June wedding. Bob was absolutely great to work with. So professional but yet had a relaxed laid back attitude. Nothing was a problem. He was responsive to questions and changes we had along the way. His office is very efficient and helpful.
    Everything on the day was perfect. Couldn't recommend them enough!

    Leif was great. He came to my home to do a tent evaluation and really helped me figure out what i needed for my wedding. I have a crazy home and having a wedding there was a logistical challenge and Specialty Tents was able to deal with it. It did in fact rain at my wedding and I am grateful that I had tent coverage. It kept everyone warm and dry. I had a dance floor installed in my drive way with a tent over it and I realized that I had forgot to tell them that my wedding had expanded by 30 people and the floor was to small. No problem, with in a few hours they had someone drive up extra panels and extend the floor. It was so stress free. The set up guys were really nice and they actually helped me move the portable toilets to a new location. (the toilets were from another vendor) That is going above and beyond.... Leif kept in touch with me from start to finish and his professionalism was outstanding. I will recommend them to all my friends and when I have another large party I will use them for tents and all their other services. I was impressed.

    For my outdoor wedding with 125 guests, we rented the tent, chairs, tables, linens, and lights from Special Events of New England. I was able to reserve my items early and then refine the order much closer to the event. Robert and his team were very responsive and spoke with me on the phone about options for linen colors and lighting/decor, which was very helpful. They had worked with our fabulous venue, Friendly Crossways Retreat Center, before, so they were able to offer suggestions about what would work best in the space. Thank you!

    I had a 200+ outdoor wedding and Special Events were wonderful to to work with! They brought in the tent, tables, chairs, plates, glasses, linens, etc. Everything came together beautifully and we were so happy to work with them!

    Bob Soucy and everyone that we dealt with at Special events was a pleasure!! Knowledgeable and professional and very easy to work with. We rented a tent, tables, chairs and linens for our daughter's recent wedding which was in our backyard. Everything was delivered as ordered and in perfect condition.     We rented 200 chiavari chairs and napkins from Special Events as they were recommended by our venue. I was very pleased with how easy they were to work with, and found their pricing to be very reasonable! We kept in touch via email and they called a couple times before the wedding to check in and see if I needed anything else, as well as to confirm drop off/pick up details. The chairs and napkins really transformed the venue and helped me achieve the look I was going for!

    The folks at Special Events of New England were a pleasure to work with. i booked them for my August wedding and we rented a large tent, tables, chairs, linens, a dance floor, lighting, and portable restrooms. They were always quick to respond via email or phone (i bugged them with ALOT of questions throughout my planning) and they were always happy to help. I worked with Robert Soucy and he was very knowledgeable. He was able to help us figure out exactly what we needed. Upon delivery the gentlemen did a great job setting everything up and were a pleasure to speak to. The actual items we rented were in perfect shape. no suprises.     We rented our dance floor and chairs from Special Events. The chairs were delivered nice and early and the dance floor was set up perfectly! I would definitely use them again for another event.

    Bob is a godsend!!
    Before the big day I had done a lot of research and after calling a few rental companies I decided hands down to go with Special Events of New England. Bob and his team took the time to answer all of my questions and didn't rush me off the phone like some of the other companies did. My fiance and I were able to stop in their shop and pick out exactly what we wanted. Bob was super fast and responsive to all of my MANY emails and phone call. Bob's team had the tent and all of the equipment set up a few days prior to our event and everything was just where it was supposed to be. Everything he provided was very clean and in working order. I would recommend Bob to anyone that wants a beautiful tent and an easy and very helpful company to work with!!

    We rented quite a few things from Special Events for our wedding and everything was delivered and received as expected. Very quick and responsive via email or phone, extremely easy to work with and very flexible. Would absolutely recommend Special Events.

    Bob and his team helped me pull off the BEST wedding.
    They provided the tent, lighting, tables and chairs
    Everyone was very communicative, always available to tweak my rentals, change the tent and lighting, whatever. The day they set up the tent, was hotter than heck, but the team they sent was upbeat and very nice. We got so many compliments on our tent (sailcloth) and the most beautiful photographs of it, especially at night. After the wedding, when they came to break it down, they came prepared to pick up the mess! I wasn't expecting that. Fortunately, our caterer (also awesome!) did all that before Special Events showed up.
    I did a bit of shopping around before booking our Tent rental. Bob was a referral and was definitely the best value I found. I highly recommend working with him, and if we throw another party that needs rentals, I know where I'll go!

    We had a small wedding at our home and had to rent everything. That wasn't a problem with Bob Soucy and Special Events of New England! We had looked into other companies who were closer to our home, however, they were disorganized and not customer service oriented. As soon as I sent Bob a list of what we would need (or what I thought we'd need), he sent back a detailed quote right away. He continued to be responsive throughout the whole planning process, offering great advice and honest suggestions that made everything run smoothly. The rentals were delivered early and were well organized and clean. The crew that set up our tent and unloaded everything else was very friendly and left everything exactly where we had requested. We couldn't have been happier with our selection and we would recommend this company to anyone who needs event rentals.

    We rented a beautiful sailcloth tent for our wedding along with tables, chairs, dance floor and lighting. All the equipment was delivered on time and looked great. They were very easy to work with!

    With an outdoor reception venue, there was no question we would rent a tent for our June wedding. We were surprised to learn how expensive tent rentals would be, and looked into every vendor in the Massachusetts and New Hamsphire area to compare prices. Special Events of New England provided the best value, and we are incredible happy that this is the company we chose to work with. They were easy to work with, professional, and incredibly helpful. We worked with Robert Soucy, and he made himself available to answer all of our questions. Planning a wedding was a lot of fun, but there were a lot of details to cover! Bob provided tent layout ideas for us, made suggestions about tables, chairs, and linen needs (and provided these items for less than the caterer, or other vendors, could). It was nearly impossible for us to determine our specific needs when it came to square footage of the tent and such, but Bob helped us and was patient and honest throughout the process. The tent was set up three days in advance of our wedding, which gave us ample time to set up the tables and chairs (We elected to set them up ourselves. Special Events will set these up for you for a small price, but we had plenty of people to help us!). It was a big help to have the tent set up in advance, so we could focus our energy on other tasks, and enjoy our time with family and friends. The tent was absolutely beautiful, and the lights that were also arranged by Special Events made for a stunning and magical setting for our celebration. Many thanks!

    We worked with this rental company for our wedding, and they were great. We got married at a summer camp so had to rent almost everything -- tent, tables, plates, lights, etc, etc, etc. It was a huge project. We worked with Bob Soucy, and he was responsive, knowledgeable, and organized. Basically you want a rental company that has what you want, has fair prices, and delivers your order on time and without any mistakes. We got just that.

    Ordered my tent, lighting, tables, chairs, heating and restrooms from them. My tent arrived days before the big event which made setting up much easier and not rushed. The choices for tables, chairs, and linens was large. I would highly recommend them compared to others in the area.

    Was very pleased with Special Events of New England. They provided our tent, tables, chairs and dinner rentals. Everything was great -they were efficient and fast and accomodating to our needs for having the tent installed on a certain day. I felt the quality of the products were high and we were not disappointed with our decision to use SE as our vendor.

    I worked with Special Events of NE for my June 4, 2011 wedding. We rented a dance floor, tables, and chairs from them. They accommodated our needs even a couple days before delivery. They were quick to put together the dance floor and the tables and chairs were in good condition. Their delivery fee to my area was high but because their prices are reasonable, it was actually the best prices for the area! I highly recommend this company.

    Very easy to work with and responsive to calls and emails. We rented Chiavari chairs, napkins, and table cloths to be delivered to the Bedford Village Inn. I was able to change my numbers up until a week before the wedding. They delivered and picked up. All I had to do was pick out what I wanted!

    They did great. We had to rent everything... 60x40 tent, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glasses, mugs etc. They were great at helping me figure out what I need, what would look good, what one thing cost vs another. They were always very patient with me playing around with different set ups etc. They have a lot of choices in linens which is one of the reasons I went with them in the first place. It was all simple stuff, but very nice, clean and good quality. Would definitely work with them again.

    Special Events of New England was great to work with. They were very flexible with changes close to our event date too!
    I would definitely recommend them. When they came to set up our tent they were fast and professional!

    We rented a lot from Special Events--tent, lighting, chairs, tables, plates, flatware, dance floor, and linens. Bob was easy to work with over email in the planning phases and very flexible when our numbers dropped a month before the wedding. The best part was their service during set up. When they came to drop off the tent there was a surprise road work project blocking the way into the venue and the team was so easy to work with and didn't seem phased by the delay. I felt horribly about it but they were very relaxed when they had to wait an hour before they could get through. Similarly, although we had fantastic weather for the wedding, the next day was very windy and rainy (thank god we dodged that bullet!). When we went to clean up some things that we had left over night we noticed that the severe wind had displaced some of the side posts and the tent seemed ready to blow down. I called their emergency line and they came right away to secure everything and tie everything down. I know this was probably mainly to save their own tent from being destroyed but I really appreciated their concern and responsiveness. They were great to work with and I highly recommend them.

    Bob Soucy and his crew at Special Events were wonderful to work with! Every time I emailed or called, Bob got back to me promptly-sometimes within a few minutes. 2 days before our wedding we decided we needed 100 more chairs and they were all over it! I would definitely recommend his company :)

    We used Special Events of NE for our backyard reception and they were awesome! We rented everything from the tent to the silverware and they even coordinated/contracted our porta-johns. Their sailcloth tent was breathtaking and their prices were comparable to competitors in the area. We opted for Special Events because we wanted to deal with as few vendors as possible. I highly recommend using Special Events of NE for all of your wedding reception needs!

    Special Events of New England provided our tent, tables and linens for a backyard wedding reception for 150 people. They did a great job from planning through installation. Their installers were very professional and the tent, tables, chairs and linens were very good quality. Also a good value compared to others!

    I rented the tent for my reception, all of the plates and barware, tables and linens for my wedding. Robert was very helpful with helping us to select the right amount of rental items and was very quick to respond to all of my emails. The entire process was stress-free and it was a pleasure working with this vendor!

    They set up our tent before we had even arrived, and were prompt in taking the rentals back and breaking down the tent at the end of the event. Everything was exactly as we had requested, and I had no problems in my dealings with them prior to the event, nor with the staff that did the clean up and break down. I'd recommend using Special Events of New England for your wedding rentals!!

    We rented a big tent (60x90), along with chairs, tables, lighting, etc. Bob Soucy is very detail oriented and helpful. He gave me some breaks on the chair rentals, etc. He stayed late one day when my, my fiance (at that time) and my mother drove to New Hampshire to their showroom to look at the linen and chairs. He got back to me quickly and although they didn't deal with the town permit, he was responsive when I asked for information (flame certificates, workers comp information). The only question mark I had with the experience was that the reception location originally allowed us to set up a few days early. However, before hiring Special Events of New England, I had asked if they would be able to set up on the day of the wedding, just in case. I was told that they would be able to do that- provided that it wasn't pouring rain. They never said it would cost more money. Unfortunately, my wedding location ended up booking an event the night before mine and would not let us set up the tent until the day of the wedding. We didn't learn this until two weeks (maybe less) before the wedding. By that time, most of the Special Events of New England employees had scheduled vacation. They ended up charging me extra for tent set-up. Oh well. They did get it set up in time. Other than that, they did a really good job.

    Everything was done in a timly fashion and the workers setting everything up were quick and worked with us to get it all exact. They were very helpful over the phone and through e-mail. The tent was honestly the best tent I have ever seen for a wedding condition wise. It must have been eather brand new of kept up very well because there was not a stain on it and it looked beautiful. I was very impressed with their equipment and everything that they had provided. The price had been a bit high for us but we absolutely got what we paid for!

    Great one stop shop. We had a lot of complements on the tent. Given our guest list shrank from the Nishell estimate, we should've gone down to size. I wish they would've suggested that a little bit because it was rather large. That being said, we were pleased overall.

    Easy to work with, responsive, choices, prices are a little less than average from my research, were professional and good in every way especially since i had my wedding in wedding season and hired them last second. even more cotos!

    This rental provider does a fantastic job. I was able to rent a tent, dance floor, tables, and linens all from this vendor which made things easier to manage. Also, anytime I had a question, I could just send an email and got a response within the next day or two.

    The overall experience with Special Events of New England for our wedding was positive. Several of the chairs that we rented, however, were dirty and some broken. One of our table linens had a large stain, but they express mailed a clean linen before our wedding, which was nice of them.
