Anthony Sparks is absolutely amazing! My husband was 100% nervous about having a videographer. However, after our wedding day was over he couldn't say enough wonderful things about working with Anthony. He was such a fun guy who made the process of recording genuine and comfortable. He had such fantastic ideas of how to capture our special moments. He was excited for us and capturing our memories and telling our story. I cannot wait to see our finished product! -

As the saying goes, "Time flies when you're having fun!" I seriously cannot believe that it has been 6-months since Chris and I got married. In honor of our half a year wedding anniversary, I wanted to take a moment to showcase our wedding video in addition to thanking Anthony Sparks, who helped us to capture such a magical day.
No matter how many times I watch this video, I can't get enough! Chris and I weren't really sure that we actually needed a wedding video since we were going to have a photographer, but we are so glad that we did. There is just something about the artistry that Sparks Productions created that brings me back to the joy of our wedding day every time we watch our video. I cry, I laugh, and I find myself singing along with the music he chose. Each time I watch this video, it takes me back to the love and laughter that was our wedding day. Thank you so much for this momentous keepsake.

Lauren Sent on 07/27/2017Sparks productions is amazing!! This was a last minute decision for me and he couldn't have been more flexible and understanding! Very professional!! He was at my venue before my photographer and stayed long after she left to ensure he didn't miss anything on my wedding day. I could not recommend ANYONE else!! I have the best videos of my wedding day that are going to last me a lifetime, I'm extremely grateful and highly recommend!!!!!! Thank you so much Anthony!! -

I would not recommend Sparks Productions. My cousin booked Anthony for her wedding, and he came with rave reviews, unfortunately I did not have the same experience.
I gave him over $1,000 deposit LAST January to hold my wedding date of May 14, 2022. He explained that he likes to meet with couples in person to get to know them before the wedding. We had planned an in person meeting, and Anthony had asked to change that to an over the phone session. That did not bother me at all. When we talked he suggested an in person meeting over the holidays because he would be in the Pittsburgh area during this time. After this point I found it hard to get in touch with Anthony. I texted him and emailed to attempt to coordinate an in person meeting with no response to either on his end. I understand the holidays are a busy time, but I was attempting to follow up with him and because he had suggested doing an in person meeting, and that this time of the year would work for him.
After the holidays, I finally for an email from Anthony (close to four months our from our wedding date) that he would no longer be available for our wedding due to having to attend his wife's nurse practitioner graduation, and would not be available to be our videographer. He also stated that he found out about this conflict a week ago. I would have like to be notified promptly after he discovered he would no longer be available.
I get that things happen, and family comes first in most circumstances. However, I felt that a phone call would have been more appropriate to break this news to us. Also, I could be wrong but dates such as graduations are typically announced months, or semesters in advance. In this case, maybe it was not, due to Covid, I am unsure. I feel that this wedding was committed to over a year ago, and although his wife's graduation is important to him, our wedding day is important to us too. He did suggest other videographers who he felt would do a good job, but I told him I was not interested in anyone he would recommend. Typically, four months out from a wedding date a reputable videographer is going to be already booked.
I think a great way of handling this from the beginning was to let us know there may be a chance he would have to attend his wife's graduation in May, and honestly we would not have booked with him.
It was also discouraging that he didn't even attempt to become available for a portion of our evening, and come after graduation etc. A few friends of mine have gained their nurse practitioner license, and didn't even attend their own graduation ceremony. I realize this is a personal decision but it seemed like he didn't care at all. He said he was going to send the deposit back, and sent me a picture of the envelope addressed to the venue. I had to correct him and give him MY address to return the deposit.
After looking more closely at his contract it states that up to 4 months before the wedding he can choose to cancel. I would advise other brides to be careful as I wouldn't want this happening to anyone else.
It looks like Anthony does fabulous work, and I am not looking to argue but this is my honest review of our experience with him .
