We cannot recommend Spark Entertainment Group enough! DJ Sik Wit It absolutely exceeded every expectation and played such a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable.

From the very beginning, the team was incredibly responsive, organized, and so easy to work with. They took the time to understand exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted, and on our wedding day, they absolutely delivered.

Our dance floor was PACKED all night long. Every song flowed perfectly, the transitions were seamless, and the energy never dropped. So many of our guests have told us it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever been to, and a huge part of that was because of the music and the incredible job our DJ did reading the crowd.

Not only was the music amazing, but the entire team was professional, personable, and helped everything run so smoothly. They made the reception feel effortless, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment.

You HAVE to go with Spark Entertainment!

Our DJ absolutely crushed it! If you're looking for a wedding DJ, it's a no-brainer! You HAVE to go with Sparks Entertainment Group. Music was going to be a massive part of our day, and we needed the DJ to be on point. They exceeded our expectations and played a huge part in making our wedding unforgettable.

From the start of the day to the very end, DJ Pharaoh was everything we asked for and more. The entire planning process was incredibly detailed and organized. The whole Sparks Entertainment Group made sure everyone was on the same page and truly catered to our wants and needs.

We provided a playlist for cocktail hour and the reception, and DJ Pharaoh took it from there. He perfectly read the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We loved the way he handled every part of the evening and made the entire experience seamless and so much fun.

The goats!

We cannot stress enough how awesome it was to work with the entire team. DJ Pharaoh (Anthony Mitchell) KILLED it from ceremony to reception! We received so many compliments about his professionalism and craftsmanship. We gave him an impossible task of navigating a 300+ song reception playlist and he managed to perfectly blend every kind of vibe we were looking for at the exact times we wanted them. The mixing was off the charts!

Secondly, a MASSIVE thanks to DJ D. Jones (Duerell) for helping make this process so enjoyable and stress-free. He was tremendously communicative throughout and helped make us feel so at ease right from the start. We'd recommend Spark to absolutely EVERYONE looking for a wedding DJ.

World class DJ experience!

Our dream of a packed dancefloor all night long? Spark Entertainment made it happen.

Booking Spark Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we would make it again without a second thought. From the very first planning conversation to the final song of the night, the entire team delivered in every possible way.

DJ D Jones was an invaluable partner during the planning process. He helped us work through timeline details and gave us thoughtful, honest feedback on our song selections — not just validating our choices, but actually helping us build a playlist tailored to our specific guests. He understood what we were going for and helped us get there strategically.

On the day itself, DJ Johnny was everything we could have asked for in an MC. He was polished, professional, and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all evening. When last-minute changes came up — as they always do at weddings — he handled them without missing a beat. No stress, no disruption, just seamless execution.

Most importantly, DJ Johnny read the dancefloor with remarkable instinct. He knew exactly when to shift the energy, when to lean in, and how to keep people moving. Our dancefloor was packed from the first song to the last — and in the days after the wedding, nearly every guest we talked to mentioned how much fun they had and what an incredible time they had dancing the night away.

Outstanding DJ - Seamless from Start to Finish

We had a fantastic experience with Spark Entertainment and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish, they were professional, organized, and easy to work with. The music was spot-on throughout the entire event, the flow of the evening was smooth, and everything ran exactly as planned.
They did a great job reading the room and keeping the energy up on the dance floor while also handling announcements and transitions seamlessly. We received multiple compliments from guests on the music and overall vibe of the reception.

Amazing, talented, attentive DJ and musicians!

DJ D. Jones and Spark Entertainment Group were INCREDIBLE in so many ways. The DJ/emcee plays a HUGE role on wedding day and we feel so lucky that they were so wonderful. We are a month out and still getting compliments from our guests about how good the DJ was.
We heard about DJ D. Jones and Spark Entertainment Group from our planners, who had worked with them many times before. When we reached out to a few groups, Spark Entertainment Group stood out immediately -- the slides were thoughtfully made and transparent, and it was clear they would work to make your event the best. I could go on and on, but here are the best parts of the experience:
1) DJ D. Jones is an AMAZING DJ. He met with us several times to understand exactly what we wanted, and he executed it perfectly. I would consider him more of an artist/musician, because he was actively remixing each song and transitioned each song into the next song so seamlessly. He is very attentive to how the crowd reacts to each song. The whole night, he played the perfect song at the perfect time [per our list], and he plays the best part of each song too. We got so many compliments about how he was actively remixing each song as he played them too. He clearly does a lot of preparation to understand your recommended songs so he can create the perfect dance floor experience.
2) We also added the electric violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour and the saxaphone for the dance floor. They were so talented, skilled, and professional. I'd highly recommend any of the musicians.
3) We also rented the photobooth and it was amazing! Everything ran smoothly, they finalized the template with us in advance, and the photos are really high quality. Our guests loved it.
4) Administratively, they are VERY responsive and extremely receptive to any requests or feedback you have. DJ D. Jones also did a great job of asking about the space in order to make sure he brings all the necessary equipment. We really appreciated the lapel mic and hand held mic that our officiant used.

We have endless gratitude for DJ D. Jones/Spark Entertainment group because they truly played a huge role in making our wedding amazing.

Good Vibes with Duerell

From the very first call, DJ Duerell was great to work with. We appreciated that we met with Duerell initially and he was the DJ for our wedding. Communication during the entire planning process was clear, he was flexible with scheduling calls during our chaotic work week, and the planning meetings were efficient. Most importantly, Duerell did a fantastic job getting the vibe right for our reception. We wanted to do club remixes of classics, pop, and mix in a little EDM. He did a wonderful job - Took our song recommendations seriously, read the vibes of the party, remixed song after song, and our guests loved it!

Best experience!

We had the BEST experience with Spark Entertainment Group for our wedding! From the very beginning, working with DJ D Jones was such a breeze—he made the planning process smooth and easy, always replying quickly and staying on top of everything. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing we were in such good hands.
And DJ Sik Wit It… wow! He absolutely crushed it. He completely nailed the vibe we wanted and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had! On top of that, he managed last-minute changes during speeches so professionally that we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

If you are looking for a wedding DJ, look no further!!! We booked DJ D Jones for our wedding at Walden and he was nothing shy of AMAZING. We are so beyond grateful that we decided to book DJ D Jones, he is truly worth ALL the hype. Go DJ that's our DJ!!! We were so impressed with how he has such an art to get the crowd/guests pumped up for the night and kept the dance floor so LIT. From the moment that we "met" with Spark entertainment on zoom, we knew that they would take great care of us and help to make our wedding day dream come to life. They made us feel so comfortable and heard and really wanted to make it such a fun and exciting process and quickly made us feel like we were in great hands. DJ D Jones was so intentional with the details and made sure to not miss a beat. From planning out the itinerary, confirming phonetic spellings of names, triple checking our song requests, and giving great recommendations, HE WAS OUR MAN. He helped to keep us on track as well with planning by having a few one on one zoom meetings with him leading up to the big day.

Best decision, best entertainment group

We had an incredible experience with Spark Entertainment Group for our wedding. Everyone was dancing the whole night thanks to DJ Pharaoh, and the entire process of wedding planning with the team was the most professional, smooth, and seamless experience we had throughout the wedding process.

From the very start of our wedding planning, Duerell gave wonderful advice about all things related to the guest experience, and was extremely responsive for all of our questions big and small. They run like a well-oiled machine - tracking meeting notes, systems in place for making sure every detail for the wedding day is very well-covered by the time the day gets close. 11/10 experience and 11/10 music. Couldn't recommend enough.

DJ Sik Wit IT was an incredible DJ!!!!

I've had the pleasure working with DJ Sik Wit It for a June wedding and it was amazing!! He had the dance floor going all night and every guests was fully engaged.

Amazing experience from end to end

With both of us having specific tastes in music, music was one of our top priorities for our wedding. We did not want the standard wedding music fare, and we also wanted a DJ who could mix live. We got both and more with Spark. Working with Duerell and his team was an awesome experience, and we were so impressed by their professionalism, attentiveness, and creativity. DJ Pharoah crushed it, incorporating all of our favorite genres to his own flair, and he kept the dance floor occupied all night long. Can't recommend Spark enough!

Spark Entertainment Group was phenomenal!!

They were the DJ for our April 2025 wedding and went above and beyond to make our day exceptional. They were recommended by our wedding coordinator, and from our very first meeting, we knew we were in amazing hands.

We started by meeting with a member of the team who walked us through all of their offerings in detail. We ended up selecting their all-inclusive package with DJ services, uplighting, and a photo booth — and it was 100% the right call. After booking, the owner, Duerell Jones, and the entire Spark team were incredible. They checked in regularly, sent planning tools through their online portal, and even emailed just to share their excitement for our big day — which made us feel so cared for, especially since we booked them far in advance.

We had a 60-day meeting with Duerell and a 30-day meeting with our DJ, Sik Wit It, and both were fantastic — so organized, thoughtful, and full of great suggestions to help the day flow and keep the crowd energized.

On the wedding day they were outstanding! Everything was seamless. DJ Sik Wit It was incredible— our dance floor was packed all night. My mom said she’d never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before! He nailed the vibe, perfectly blending my love of Pop with my partner’s favorite 80s and 90s hits. He hyped the crowd at just the right moments — from our T-shirt toss to the debut of a song my partner created — and truly made the night unforgettable.

Spark Entertainment Group is outstanding. They’re talented, professional, and truly care about the couples they work with. We can’t recommend them enough and will absolutely use them again for any future events. We’re so grateful they were part of our day!

Couldn't have drawn it up any better

We booked D. purely based on the reviews at first. After our first conversation with him, you could feel his passion for his business radiating. Outside of our first dance song we gave D full autonomy to feel out the dance floor the way he saw fit.

If you have come across this review and you are still on the fence with entertainment. I would do yourself a favor and book with Spark before your date has been spoken for.

A VIBE from the beginning!

Absolutely electric! The whole Spark team completely blew us away for our wedding day - our ceremony was magical and Bridgerton-esquwe with a live violinist and keyboardist, our cocktail hour was jazzy and fancy, our dinner was big band rat pack, and our reception was INSANEEEE. The hybrid model is absolutely the way to go - our guests never left the dancefloor. They created the most amazing atmosphere all night long.

I don't even know where to begin in expressing how AMAZING Duerell and his team at Spark Entertainment are! From our initial inquiry to the final moments of our wedding, the entire process was seamless and professional! DJ Duerell truly made our wedding unforgettable. The Best Wedding DJ Ever Experienced.

If I could give DJ D. Jones FIVE HUNDRED STARS, I would.

He was incredibly professional, had a great online platform, and most importantly, he kept the dance floor COOKIN at my wedding. Literally the best wedding dance floor I've ever experienced.

He factored in our requests, he used the mic to amp the crowd the PERFECT amount, and his introductions were ELECTRIC.

If you're shopping around... Stop looking for another DJ and hire DJ D. Jones. I personally won't consider hiring another DJ.

You'll regret not hiring Spark

Hiring Spark Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Duerell was our DJ and he KILLED it. He had people on the dance floor all night long and totally understood the vibe we wanted. I can't tell you how many people we've had compliment us on our DJ. We also had a live sax and guitar. Guests loved this and it's a nice way to have live music, but still the vibe of a DJ. The only thing we would critique is we thought the sax would be a little more interactive with guests, walking through the crowd and what not. We also had a cello and acoustic guitar at our ceremony who played and sounded exactly like we imagined. Duerell also helped to quickly troubleshoot when we had issues with our A/V equipment for the ceremony (the venues issue, not Spark's equipment at all). Overall, the whole team at Spark was so professional, thorough and kind. Their event and music portal is also great and easy to use. Thanks again!!

Iconic & Epic DJs!

One of the most frequent compliments we got on our wedding was the music. DJ D Jones brought the dance floor to life and kept the party going well into the night! Consummate Professionals!

Every person I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional, and responsive to any questions I had. Everyone helped develop the ideas in my head, added to them, and made our celebration a success! Amongst the day-of chaos I was dealing with for last minute details, everyone from Spark Entertainment Group remained calm, cool, and collected. Wedding June 8th, 2024

I dont even know where to begin... I cannot recommend Duerell and Spark Entertainment enough!!
Since the first day my now husband and I got engaged, our biggest concern was making sure we got a kickass DJ, and boy did we do our research and got a KICKASS DJ. I found Duerell through great reviews, and finding out a mutual friend of ours used him for wedding, and she RAVED about him. I inquired through his website, and within 24 hours, we had a response, with their packages, and we set up a Zoom to meet with Duerell.
During our initial zoom meeting, Duerell was attentive and responsive to what we were looking for. We wanted to make sure we appealed to all age groups, and kept our dance floor packed all night.

Duerell isnt your typical DJ. He brought the energy, kept the crowd involved, and really read the room and could see what we waned the next song to be. HYPE music was our motto and did Duerell bring it! He took every meeting we had with him, personal, making sure he knew what we wanted to play, what we didnt and how we wanted the day to go. It really is up to the DJ to make sure everything is on schedule, and he really made sure all Speeches were on time, dances were on schedule, and we were on the dance floor by the time we wanted.

We had a minor rain issue and had to change our ceremony from outdoors to indoors, and he worked to make sure our music, and audio was good to go with only 20 minutes until the ceremony!

Everyone raved about him... People still are talking about how fun our Dance floor and how amazing Duerell was. His tech team killed it too, making our photobooth go off without a hitch, and setting it up almost immediately after our ceremony, so people could use it during cocktail hour.

We truly were bummed when the night was over, because of how spectacular DJ Jones was. I will never stop recommending him. Truly one of the best investments we could have made when it came to wedding planning.

We hope to have the opportunity again to be at a wedding with Spark Entertainment, and if we dont, we may just need to throw another wedding!

Five stars isnt enough

Duerrell is just the best. Our dance floor stayed packed the entire night and we had such a blast.

It’s taken us a couple weeks to sit down and really be able put into words how much our wedding day meant to us.

First of all, thank you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. We can’t thank you all enough. We had the best night of our lives and had so much fun. Everyone has been raving about DJ D Jones and the playlist and how much fun they had dancing the night away. There are truly no words to describe how perfect it was and amazing and memorable it was to be surrounded by all of our loved ones on the dance floor just going feral.

Since Andres and I started dating 8 years ago, we always talked about a must have for our wedding and the most important aspect. We BOTH immediately said entertainment/ music was number one. By far. We knew we wanted to invest and when we came across Spark Entertainment and when I sat with Jazmin to talk through our vision, we just immediately knew it had to be Spark. We listened to so many playlists and researched all types of DJs but truly what stood out to me was the professionalism, the fact we felt like we just clicked well with Jazmin and Duerell, but also just they got it and understood us. We’re just obsessed with DJ D Jones and every day in our household ask each other if we saw his last stories or party posts and just reminisce.

Everyone on the team was just so professional, so genuinely nice, and just knew exactly what we wanted and how to bring it to life. We had a challenging guest mix, from our Latin families, to young people, to older crowds, to our southern friends 🤣 and DJ D Jones just killed it. He somehow knew what to play to get everyone together. We were so bummed when the party was over. While we were exhausted, we would have danced the night away.

We will be referring to literally everyone and writing many reviews but we just want to thank you so much.

We may have to throw a party soon just to get DJ D Jones back into our lives.

Truly Amazing

We knew that investing in a quality Dj that does more than just play a Spotify playlist would be well worth it… but Duerell truly far exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed hearing his sets on SoundCloud that we just gave him pretty general directions for the vibe of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We trusted him as the expert and couldn’t have been in better hands. He kept the energy up and kept the party going throughout our entire wedding. We got tons of compliments on the DJ all night too! He was awesome, professional, and so fun to work with.

Our dance floor was packed all night!

If you want a DJ that will keep your dance floor going all night long, look no further; Spark Entertainment and DJ D Jones (Duerell) are who you’re looking for! Duerell artfully engages the room and keeps the energy fresh, fun, and flowing 😎

We actually started out thinking we wanted a band, and when we were disappointed by those options, we were at a loss because we had only experienced “cheesy” DJs at other weddings we had attended and did not want that vibe. Our wedding planners recommended DJ D Jones, and we could not have made a better choice going with him. The unique thing about Duerell is that he listens to your suggestions and preferences, and then builds off them in the moment, so you have a constantly bumping playlist that is curated to your tastes. He reads the vibe of the room and adjusts accordingly to make sure the energy never drops.

He was also so accommodating and helpful to us throughout the planning process. We were very particular about the songs we wanted played during the hora, and he made sure to play only the list we had given him for that portion of the dancing. In one of our planning meetings before the wedding, he heard how much we wanted the dance floor energy to be high, and suggested a short dance set immediately after cocktail hour (then worked with our planners to make sure it fit into the timeline), and that really set the bar for the evening. He also (unbeknownst to me) worked with my parents to play a special audio recording during their speech that they had sent him prior to the wedding.

Literally everyone has raved to us about how much FUN they had at our wedding, and that is thanks to Duerell and Spark Entertainment. Don’t hesitate to book them, you will not be disappointed!

Great Experience with Spark!

We worked with Spark Entertainment for our wedding. Every interaction we had with the team at Spark was excellent. They are extremely responsive and transparent throughout the process. They have a portal with anything you’ll need during the planning process, including the ability to add “must play” and “do not play” songs. DJ Sik Wit It DJ’d our wedding and was a great emcee as well. We wanted to cut a verse out of our first dance song and DJ Sik Wit It was able to cut it out and even shared it with us ahead of time to ensure we liked it. Spark provided microphones/audio support throughout the ceremony and dinner/speeches and were flexible with the venue’s audio needs/layout. We truly felt like we were in good hands and didn’t have to worry about this piece of the wedding planning process. We had a great experience with Spark and would definitely recommend!

Party of my dreams!

DUERELL IS THE BEST! He turned our wedding into the nightclub of my dreams- our friends and family are still talking about! He went above and beyond to make our day truly special, I had a very specific vision of the type of music I wanted throughout the night and he went above and beyond to make suggestions and made the night perfect. He helped us navigate our vision, he even gave us a form to fill out that asked us questions about my husbands and my music preferences. He gave us ideas and suggestions to get the party started that got every single person on the dance floor with the first song. The entire flow of the night was perfect, starting with an amazing entrance and mixed our walk out song perfectly into our first dance song. Spark gives you access to a portal to add songs to was super easy to navigate, and even connected to my Spotify so made it so easy to create an outline for the night. We had ages from 95 to 16 and every single person had a song they could dance to and enjoy. Most of my guests said they didn’t sit down once. I spoke to many different vendors before I decided on Spark entertainment, we clicked after the first call and I knew without any doubt I had to have them for our wedding.
I wanted a live music element for the reception, and saxophone was the PERFECT way to take our party up to the next level. We had Jimmy come “crash our party” and play along with music the and my family is still talking about how incredible he was and how seamlessly he integrated with every song. I can’t say enough about Spark, I will cherish my night forever! Thank you DJ D Jones and team!

We cannot speak highly enough about Spark Entertainment, DJ D Jones, and DJ Pharaoh. The entire team by far exceeded our expectations and we loved every step of the process. DJ Pharaoh knocked it out of the park in every way possible, both as a DJ and a host. The music was so perfectly crafted from start to finish. He truly set a perfect vibe and we had a packed dance floor all night. He even had my 90 year old conservative catholic Grandma dancing to Touch the Sky. I'm not exaggerating when I say the entire family cannot stop talking about how cool that was - and how happy she looked doing it!
DJ Pharaoh is absolutely phenomenal and Spark Entertainment is without a doubt the best company you can hire in Chicago for your wedding.

Cold sparklers

We hired Spark Entertainment to come out to our son’s wedding and set up the cold sparklers and set them off 3 times during the reception. Everything went great and the sparklers really added to the party! Would highly recommend.

DJ D. Jones and his team are, simply, unbelievable.....They provide services that are unparalleled and for a bargain price. What really swayed us from the beginning was the professionalism and presentation that DJ Jones put together to give us an idea about the kind of services Spark Entertainment provides. We saw videos of weddings that were exactly the kind of lively, upbeat ambiance we wanted at ours. On top of all of this.... DJ Jones is so kind!!! We got off the call and immediately hired him! The process moving forward and up until the wedding was flawless...the online portal is easy to use and DJ Jones has so much knowledge and experience to help fill in the gaps that we couldn't for music selection. What a hit!

What a professional, organized and outstanding group of people! Between the Zoom meetings, web portal, and quick email responses, I would recommend Spark Entertainment Group & DJ D. Jones to anyone!

We had an outdoor wedding that needed to be shifted under a tent and they handled it so well. DJ Pharaoh read the room, understood the vibe and age group and got the party started for a group that isn't always a star on the dance floor. We weren't too sure how our guests would dance, but we had EVERY guest dancing & having a great time until the end. All of the credit goes to DJ Pharaoh for that. And the photo booth was a HIT! Between the GIFs, photos and ease of use, all of our guests loved it! I'm so glad I used Spark for the photo booth too!

Throughout the planning process, Spark was helpful, professional, and quick to provide answers. Shout out to Jazz for being such a great asset and help with all of the logistical/financial questions I had along the way.

TLDR: If they're available on your day - book them!

Awesome Dj and staff

Dj D Jones and his crew were awesome to work with! From our first conversation with him we knew he’d be a perfect fit for our wedding. He kept the dance floor full, the guests engaged, and often took the time during the reception to ask if we were having a good time. We also had a guitarist through them that killed it at the ceremony! They also provided uplighting and a 360 booth that our guests loved! DJ One Chance was Amazing!!!

Why you need the perfect DJ!

Working with Spark Entertainment was amazing from start to finish! The team’s professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge about how to center your event around music was fantastic! Trust me, you don’t want a DJ that simply hits play on a playlist! You need someone who understands how to curate a sound for the occasion + many activities taking place, how to read the room to keep everyone engaged, and how music, even as a backdrop, can make or break the experience. Our attendees are RAVING about Spark Entertainment and DJ Jones more than a week after our wedding. The team was so easy to work with, even when we didn’t know exactly what we wanted, DJ Jones was able to help pull ideas out of us and craft the perfect mood for our wedding. Best dj ever!

I knew from my first meeting with Spark Entertainment before even signing the contract that they were going to be a great vendor to work with. The owner, DJ Duerell Jones & team would send random touch points leading up to our wedding day, including a 200, 150, & 100 day away reminder which was so thoughtful! Their portal has everything you can think of and is so detailed, I loved it! We had the pleasure of having DJ OneChance as our wedding DJ and he was the absolute BEST! We're still getting compliments from wedding guests on how great the music was! All I wanted for our wedding was to have everyone on the dance floor all night and he made that happen! If you're in Chicago/Chicagoland area I HIGHLY recommend DJ OneChance/Spark Entertainment for your next event!

The entire Spark team was excellent. DJ D. Jones (the owner) answered all our questions in a timely manner and he helped with the planning process. The check-ins and the online portal were extremely helpful to keep us on track with things.
After meeting DJ One Chance I knew we would have nothing to worry about.
From the start of our wedding to the end DJ One Chance NAILED IT!! We received many compliments from not only our guests but the other vendors about how great DJ One Chance was! We still hear from everyone that they haven’t had this much fun at a wedding in a long time. DJ One Chance kept the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT!! Everyone loved him!!

Makes It Easy To Keep The Party Going

We got many comments about how wonderful DJ D Jones was from not only our guests, but our other vendors as well! Duerell made the process of planning the music vibes very easy and scheduled multiple check-ins during that planning process. Once we got to the wedding itself, there was nothing left to worry about! Not only did ceremony music go smoothly, but he kept people on the dance floor all night long! We have some of the most amazing dancing photos because DJ D Jones read the room perfectly to keep the party lively.

No stress DJ, and everything was perfect

The DJ was open, flexible, communicative, and at the time of the event he arrived on time, ready, and did everything perfectly. Would 100% recommend DJones to anyone else. We had multiple compliments from our guests throughout the night, and Durrell was able to adapt on the fly to any specific requests. Ultimately, he made the party work.

It was great working with DJ D Jones and DJ Perry Dontae at Spark Entertainment Group for our wedding! Hiring Spark Entertainment Group and DJ D.Jones was the best decision we made for our wedding! Amazing musical services! Made our day perfect!

Spark Entertainment is AMAZING !! Working with Duerell on our wedding was Amazing from Day 1 to the wedding and even after. Duerell is very organized and customer focused. He meets with you to make sure you have all you need. His equipment and team are top notch, and they offer everything you could want or need to celebrate your day. We had DJ OneChance , Perry Dontae on drums and a violinist for our happy hour, all coordinate by DJ jones (Duerell Jones). Everyone was Professional and you can tell loved what they were doing. Some Dj’s just stand there and play the music, DJ OneChance was part of the party , he was dancing , reading the crowd and playing the music to keep everyone going. Perry Dontae was on the drums high energy for 4 hours non stop .. he was a machine. Spinning his drum sticks and raising the level of the party. The Violinist at happy hour was great she played with the music and gave the room a very fun vibe. I am so happy I used Spark Entertainment for our Wedding over a band or other DJ service. Duerell has a unique business model that offers people so much for then the music, him and his team come to the party like they are part of the party and everyone feels that. Very responsive and great DJ!

DJ DJones was extremely responsive. The way he set up his website was smooth and easy to use. We were able to input all the songs we wanted for our day. Although I don’t think a lot of them got played, the music choice list was all songs we liked and the way he mixes everything together was amazing. Many people commented on how great he was. I would definitely suggest him! We were looking for a DJ to bring together 2 different ethnic groups and young and old guests and he did just that!

Absolutely amazing DJ

Spark entertainment, DJ D Jones was our wedding DJ- he was absolutely amazing!!! We found him from a recommendation on Facebook. We knew we wanted a DJ who was unlike any other wedding we had been to, and he 100% delivered. Communication was great and fast. He has an amazing website to plan your event, and has a few meetings with you leading up to your day to make sure he has all of the information he needs. He provided our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception- he made everything run smooth and flawless. We are still hearing compliments of how amazing the dancing was, and the only complaints we heard was how much everyone’s feet hurt for days after the wedding! He did an amazing job of getting everyone hyped up before our entrance at the reception, did perfect transitions between everything, I cannot recommend him enough. So professional, friendly, and just overall outstanding!!

Pure Excellence

You can stop your search for a wedding DJ because DJ D. Jones with Spark Entertainment Group is top quality, 10 out of 10. I went to a lot of weddings this year due to the COVID delay in 2020 and DJ D Jones was by FAR the best. I know it sounds biased seeing as how it was my wedding but its the truth. The whole experience was seamless and enjoyable. Our wedding guests all commented on the DJ, the music selection, and how he kept the party going all night. Many of us woke up sore from dancing. Absolutely AMAZING!!

Duerell is absolutely phenomenal! We had to move our wedding to a Sunday night after a few COVID reschedules and were concerned it wouldn’t be as much of a party atmosphere because of it, but Duerell kept the dance floor PACKED all night. We had numerous people come up to us throughout the night saying they’ve never been to a wedding with such a crowded dance floor and about how amazing he was. We are so lucky we found him! We couldn’t recommend him enough. Not only is he amazing the day of but he makes the planning process extremely easy and stress-free! Thank you Duerell!!!

Amazing wedding DJ!

We absolutely loved our experience with Spark and DJ Jones. He was always accommodating and very responsive to our needs. Next Level DJ service

Our coordinator suggested Spark Entertainment Group to us. We had a zoom meeting and we were very impressed by the attention to detail Duerell had. We were able to go to the website and list music that we did and did not want to hear. He is very professional and has elevated the dj's persona for us. He can blend in with your decor whether it's elegant or rustic and he kept the dance floor full till the end of the night. It was exactly how I wanted it to be. Also, we hired the Violinist Rachel Miller who is also a part of his group and OMG!! EVERYONE LOVED RACHEL! Everyone is STILL talking about our wedding 2 weeks later. If you need the best DJ around, you MUST hire Duerell to do your event!!!! He keeps the dance floor moving and we couldn't have asked for anyone better than him. The whole process was so easy. Awesome Wedding DJ

Spark Entertainment was super helpful for everything revolving around the music and emcee for the day. We worked with Durell throughout our planning process and had DJ Sik Wit It at our wedding. We gave them a few ideas regarding the cocktail hour and reception music and they were able to take our ideas and turn it into music for the reception which kept people on the dance floor. First class emcee and entertainer

e had an absolutely exceptional experience working with Spark Entertainment, DJ Duerell Jones and Dj One Chance from start to finishing for our wedding ceremony and reception. Duerell was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and professional as we worked with him to plan our event. Spark uses a website to help plan out your must play songs, reception timeline, and key moments throughout both the ceremony and reception which is very intuitive and a huge value add for any couple.

Once we got to the actual event, Dj One Chance was a first class emcee and entertainer. His mixes were flawless and the dance floor was full from the first second of the reception to the last song. He was energetic and hyped up the crowd, played hits that everyone could enjoy, and had a magnificent sound system.

Our wedding attendees can’t stop raving about Dj One Chance! If I could give more than five stars I would, and would recommend him for any event that you have planned!

BEST DJ Ever! Book Spark Entertainment Group for Your Wedding!

I recently had Spark Entertainment Group, specifically DJ One Chance, at my wedding. It was the best decision to hire DJ One Chance!

First, the planning experience was so organized. Spark has an online portal where you can add timelines, songs to play/not play, etc. Even my planner had commented how organized that they were! Duerell (owner of Spark) was willing to check out my venue in person beforehand to ensure everything went smoothly.

The day of DJ One Chance (Tim) kept the party going all night long. I was initially worried about how he would get every generation on the dance floor, but he did it. He picked up on what the group was jiving to & catered to that. Even my parents were remarking that he was incredible! My favorite thing about his DJ'ing is the transitions from song to song. Tim is not your standard wedding DJ who plays off a playlist - the transitions were so fun & kept my guests interested all night long!

DJ D. Jones was the best decision we made for our wedding! From day one he totally understood our vibe and how we wanted our night to flow. Brunch wedding

Amazing dj

Duerell is AMAZING as the MC and DJ of the night - from our very first meeting, he focused in on how to always keep the energy up (one of my concerns) and he definitely delivered! His experience and expertise was evident as he helped us curate the playlist for our ceremony / cocktail / reception but also with our timeline to ensure the dance floor was PACKED, which it was! Duerell was able to get a lot of our family members (including my dad) who never dance out on the dance floor!! Even two weeks after the wedding, we still have our guests commenting on how amazing the music was and that the overall vibe of the wedding was fantastic - this is all in testament to Duerell and his team. We were also able to have Edith play violin during the ceremony, which was an added bonus as a lot of the DJ's we looked at didn't offer this option. His team truly offers ENTERTAINMENT at your wedding and we're so lucky that his team was available on both our original date and our new date (we may have even moved our wedding date to accommodate his schedule - he's just THAT good!). Highly recommend!

A wedding reception dream team!

We are so lucky to have had DJ D. Jones and Rachael Miller (violinist) at our wedding reception. DJ D. Jones had all of the details carefully organized, and we met with him twice prior to our wedding day to ensure that all of the music details were exactly what we were envisioning. He kept the party going the entire night, and our guests had so much fun on the dance floor. Rachael played violin during our cocktail hour and dinner. Although planning a wedding during a pandemic was not the most ideal but working with Duerell was super easy and an amazing experience from our first meeting to the event itself. The portal was super helpful and Duerell was always responsive to answer any/all questions. I was pretty particular in terms of music choice so had almost the entire evening planned out song by song, transition by transition and he delivered above and beyond everything I expected. When I turned the keys over to him during the reception his choice in music/vibe was exceptional and exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend utilizing Spark Events for your event, big or small, low key or epic party he can deliver above an beyond!

Amazing!

Spark Entertainment was the highlight of our wedding reception ! Duerell got everyone on the dance floor and Perry Dontae killed it on the drums ! Very interactive with the guest and Duerell was great to work with !!! Amazing ! Definitely would recommend for any party or wedding !

Excellent work during a difficult COVID wedding!

Duerell was a great DJ to work with! He was very flexible with us on our date, very communicative, and he listened to our music requests. He had great taste and picked good songs from our more vague instructions (an hour of ska music). It was a shame we weren't allowed to have a dance floor because Duerell definitely would have gotten people to dance on it! He also did a great job MCing the wedding's first half, and his photobooth was great. Thanks again Duerell!

Tim was the BEST DJ!

Tim was one of the first vendors we booked! We saw him perform at a bar downtown, and knew right away that we needed him to DJ at our wedding. He is so talented and he lit up the dance floor ALL NIGHT! I would 100% recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ. My husband and I were just talking about how we want to have another party just to have Tim come DJ again :)

Tim made us feel like he was part of the wedding, not just a vendor, and made us so comfortable the entire night! We had a few prep meetings in advance with both Tim and Duerell and they really set us up to have the perfect night.

We are so thankful that we had such an incredible team to make sure we had the most fun night!! Guests cannot stop raving about our reception!
