Exactly what every party needs!
We used Spare Hands to help bartend and support my mom’s 70th birthday party (~100 guests), and we can’t recommend them highly enough! From the start, Jennifer (the owner) was a pleasure to work with—she clearly explained their services, was flexible with scheduling, and made the whole process smooth with her thorough communication, payment options, and attention to detail.
On the night of the party, we had Sarah and Nimmi as our servers, and they were absolutely stellar. Not only did they handle the bartending with total professionalism, but they also went above and beyond helping wherever needed. Their service was seamless—they were well-prepared, proactive, and never had to be told what to do. It was clear they are highly experienced, and on top of that, they were so friendly and engaging with our guests.
Thanks to Spare Hands, my siblings and I were truly able to enjoy the evening as guests instead of worrying about the logistics. Their motto is to “help you be a guest at your own event,” and that’s exactly what they delivered. We would 100% use them again for future events and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and friendly event support.

They were so helpful on the day of our wedding! Everything was stocked and refilled right away and they made the dinner service run smoothly and look immaculate! They were responsive throughout our entire process and also helped with suggestions for how many service staff members we would need based on our changing guest count. They were so kind and made the process very smooth and easy! My husband and I truly felt like we could enjoy our wedding and we didn’t have to worry about any of the details because they just helped everything run so smoothly! I highly recommend! -

A MUST HAVE at your wedding/party!
Jennifer and her crew were incredible throughout the entire day of coordinating process.
She arrived at our rehearsal to help ensure everything ran smoothly, delivered our decorations to the venue, and even delivered them back to our apartment after.
Throughout the entire wedding day she went above and beyond to deliver an incredible and memorable experience! She is able to focus on all of the details so everything runs smoothly and you can enjoy the evening stress free! She does it with a smile and her crew was so fun and kind to all of our guests.
I cannot say enough positives about our experience, except that she will make you feel like family! We love her and will definitely use her for large parties in the future!! -

Exceptional Service!
I found Spare Hands on Yelp and they also came recommended by my venue. We’re so glad and SO grateful that we went with their amazing team! The price for the number of hours of service we needed was reasonable and the owner, Jennifer, was very responsive to my outreach and maintained open lines of communication with me about booking and leading up to my event. Our servers, Brian and Mayra, were incredibly helpful and just all hands on deck. They cleaned tables, passed our appetizer and cake, refilled waters, helped with our toast, and more! My family and guests were really complimentary of their service, and my mom was especially impressed with their level of attentiveness and professionalism. Overall, their team helped to keep everything clean and contributed to an overall smooth and fantastically magical wedding. Thank you Spare Hands and Jennifer!

The Only Way To Go!
I was referred to Jennifer at Spare Hands when I needed a food server for our son's wedding reception. BEST decision ever to use her services! We had Brian E. take care of everything from picking up the food at the restaurant and bringing it to the venue, to packing up the leftovers, and everything in between. Every time I looked up, Brian was busy doing something. I really don't know how he did it all! Jennifer was just super to handle all the arrangements and quickly respond to any question I had during the planning stage. If I ever need "spare hands" again, I will definitely contact Jennifer. -

Truly Amazing
We have had many parties in our home over the years and I had never considered hiring service to help us. Unfortunately, a dear loved one in our family passed away and we hosted the repast at our house. Given the services and repast were scheduled for the same day I could not fathom how I was going to do it all so I reached out Jenn. I read a review that stated it was the best decision they ever made and I couldn’t say it better…BEST decision ever! We came home and everything was perfect. I couldn’t have ask for a better experience. This team knows exactly what they are doing. When you hire them trust and believe no matter the task your event will be amazing! Best decision I ever made!
Hiring Spare Hands to be my day of wedding coordinator was the best decision I ever made! I do not know what we would have done without Jenn helping us set up, and make sure our day ran smoothly. She is so on top of everything and so detailed oriented. Not only is she amazing at her job, but she is also the sweetest person ever! She made me feel so special, and I felt so blessed to have someone there that really cared. -

Absolutely AMAZING service!
Hiring Spare Hands was the absolute best decision. This was the first wedding I coordinated and they helped me immensely! They saw where there would be hiccups and went above and beyond to solve them before they happened. Ashley and Ron were especially helpful, I appreciated their support so much. Wow! We love Jennifer!
I will never be able to explain how wonderful Jennifer was, and how much she absolutely made our wedding! We got married at the Casino San Clemente in September, and Jennifer was our day of coordinator. She was along with me and just a phone call away for the entire process, and when the day came she made the whole event flow so seamlessly! My husband and I highly recommend her and her team for any gathering big or small, she is truly such a wonder!
Managing family photo time, making sure my husband and I were fed all night, making sure everyone looked their best and of course keeping everyone calm, I seriously found myself wondering if there is anything she can’t do! -

Wedding Wait Staff
Spare Hands helped us as additional wait staff during our wedding. Jennifer was extremely helpful and responsive! She even helped figure out the best amount of wait staff and each individuals start and end time to help stagger times to ensure a consistent amount of help throughout the whole day. Overall everyone was very polite, professional, and curtious! I would highly recommend Spare Hands for any help you need as they were by far the best and easiest vendor to work with out of our whole wedding! -

Great Experience with SpareHands
During the blur of wedding planning for my daughter, I was referred to SpareHands to oversee and coordinate a small, ocean overlook ceremony followed by a small reception at a restaurant in Newport Beach. We didn't need a full-blown wedding planner. SpareHands offered the exact services we were looking for and at a very reasonable price. Jennifer of SpareHands has been wonderful to work with, especially since we live in another state and planning a wedding from afar can be an even bigger challenge. Then we had to change the date twice in light of the pandemic. Throughout it all, Jennifer has been very accommodating, understanding, flexible, reliable, and responsive, and provided great ideas and referrals. I highly recommend her and her team at SpareHands for your special event. -

I recently was a wedding planner/coordinator for a wedding and hired Jennifer's team to help out. Working with them was such a dream! THE Best team!
We had THE best night of our lives! I am still swooning. We couldn't have had a better group send us off into marriage. Jennifer and her team were such a sweet blessing! We cannot thank them enough for making our day so magical and smooth! They were attentive and kind to us and our guests. They were sure to bring us appetizers while we were taking photos and had drinks and dinner brought to us so we could maximize our time celebrating with our guests. Rehearsal Dinner-70 guests
We hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son and his to be wife for about 70 guests. I would use Spare Hands over and over again! They provide such professionalism. We were able to enjoy the party without any worry. Timeline of servers, from arrival through cleanup was exactly as promised.

Retirement Party
Spare Hands was recommended by our caterer and I’m glad I took her advice. Jennifer gave us a good proposal that we agreed immediately. Our party was a huge success as her team; Jacqueline, Ronnie, and Kim, did an excellent in keeping our 130 guests feeling special. They cleaned up and left our home as clean as before. Our venue was BYOB and catering, which was great but also meant we needed staffing. Jennifer and her team couldn't have been more helpful every step of the way. All she needed was a general outline for the day and the guest count, and she handled the rest. She never tried to upsell us on extra labor, and everyone on her staff created the perfect evening. Drinks were served promptly, guests were cleaned up after without issue, and perhaps the best compliment I can give is that I barely even recognized them all night because they just took care of everything without interfering at all.
The pricing was way more reasonable than similar services we searched for. Jennifer herself was amazing at communicating every step of the way. If you need staffing and bartending services, definitely choose them! -

I am obsessed with Jennifer as a professional. She really was an amazing pleasure to work with and offered so much extra information that I was unaware of. She was really friendly, thoughtful, kind, and upbeat. She made planning my wedding and letting go easy. She had 4 staff members handle my wedding and they were on top of everything. They really were helpful. Everyone truly went above and beyond!

Spare Hands was the best vendor I chose for my wedding! Jennifer and her team are angles! Before my event Jennifer helped me decide what to buy, how to set the table & chairs, and helped me correspond with the venue manager to make sure she had all her bases covered before the big day. We used Spare hands back in August. Omg Jennifer is amazing and her team is so great. I can’t remember the ladies name that was part of the first staff we had but literally if I wasn’t holding a drink she was bringing me on. If I was taking photos she was right next to me hold a drink for me. They did a great job and everyone at the wedding loves the staff! For sure passing their business on to everyone, strangers even when I hear they are planning a wedding or any event! -

Kim and Bill went above our expectations to make our party a success. We gave them very few instructions and they took amazing initiative and ran with the ball! Whenever they had a question they checked in, but we basically were privileged to enjoy our party as pampered guests instead of tired hosts. We used Sparehands to help at a milestone Birthday party at our home. Jennifer, the owner is delightful. She is very personable and helpful. She does not push more staff than you need. Prices are reasonable.
Jana and Karyn did a great job helping us be guests at our own party (Sparehand's motto). They came dressed in black with embroidered name Sparehands which was a nice touch. They arrived early, were super calm and knowledgeable, anticipating what might be needed and helping out in every way they could. They took coats, purses and gifts and put them away for us, they made sure plates and glasses were picked up, trash was emptied, guests had what they needed, food kept looking fresh and good. They packed up the food afterwards for us and even mopped up the floors. OMG, what more could you ask for? We will definitely be using Sparehands at our next party. Don't hesitate in using this company. They are very reliable, super helpful and well worth the money. Thank you Jennifer, Karyn and Jana!!! -

I don't know what i would have done without Spare Hands on our wedding day. Jennifer Biting is professional, knowledgeable with regards to your needs, fair, and a pleasure to work with. She knows exactly how to stagger her people to keep costs down, and service at a high standard. The people she has working with need very little guidance once given the info they need. Make sure you have your equipment and/or decor organized to help them better help you.
They have a great eye in what is needed. I was able to have a relaxed wedding day with Spare Hands at the helm! They only needed to ask a very few questions to make sure our vision of our wedding was in line with their thinking. They were courteous, kind, and on top of all of our needs. My glass was never empty, dishes were off the table and cleaned quickly and efficiently, and we were so in love with our bartender, she is now a friend of ours. Wonderful service and lovely people . Jennifer and her Spare Hands Team helped us to throw an Epic Party at our home for our daughter and her new husband. The team arrived and immediately got to work making everything perfect for our party. As our guest arrived, Jennifer and her team saw to their every need and made sure that the whole evening was perfect from start to finish. And as the party was winding down, they cleaned up everything so beautifully and even stacked our rental chairs and moved tables.

Spare Hands is such an amazing service!!!!! I don't know where they've been my whole life! I will never throw another party without them!! Stacey was my "Spare Hands" at my husband's 50th birthday party and she was incredible! Made sure the food was out, trash was picked up, even went on an ice run for me when we ran out. We hosted this party at a location away from and she even helped pack everything up at the end of the night and clean up. I was actually able to enjoy myself and focus on playing hostess!! Compelelty affordable pricing and worth every cent!!! Thank you Spare Hands!!!! -

Jennifer was fabulous! She handled everything in my kitchen; plated the food, served the food, and did the dishes for a dinner party of 12! All by herself. She was delightful in every possible way and I can't thank her enough for being the Spare Hands I needed to enjoy my own dinner party. Jennifer has made me eager to entertain again. She is priced so reasonably that we wanted to give her an extra tip. Thank you!!! -

Jennifer and her staff are amazing! We had three events in one weekend with them (all at our home) and they made it so that we (the hosts) could truly relax and enjoy ourselves. My husband and I have decided that anytime we have a dinner party or party at our house in the future we are calling Jennifer. It was a game-changer for us to have someone else take care of all the details so that we could have fun. Jennifer and her team were highly skilled, reliable, easy to be with, and very professional. I can't recommend them more. -

Not only do I work for this company but I've been a customer and they are truly the best. As an employee we absolutely love doing whatever we can to make host and hostesses events the best they can be and with as little stress as possible. It's a pleasure to make so many special events run smoothly. As a customer it gave me peace of mind knowing that there was someone there to help me remember all the little things and take care of them for me. The best part was waking up the next morning after my event (that ended at 2am) and there was no trash to clean up or take to the cans, bar was put away and left over food was packed up and in the refrigerator. My husband and I decided right then we will never throw an event again without Spare Hands. -

Spare Hands was very helpful both before and during the wedding! They made sure we had enough staff to cover our DIY wedding and it seemed like everyone was well taken care of. During the wedding one employee, Stephanie, made sure that I ate and even brought me a water bottle on the dance floor because she thought I would probably need it (which I did!). She was incredible as was the rest of the staff! I'm so glad we hired them! -

We have used Spare Hands on three separate occasions including 50th & 80th birthdays and a memorial service and they are a top notch organization. Jennifer and her team are all wonderful people and top of the line professionals. DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL SPARE HANDS!!! I was so impressed with the responsiveness and professional of the owner Jennifer prior to actually using them for my son's January 7th wedding, but was blown away by her and her crew on the day of the event. As a demanding real estate professional myself, I appreciate a company that does what they say they will do. I could not believe how hard they worked and the how pleasant and professional they were doing it. I will definitely call them again for my next event...big or small and they have already been referred by me to others multiple of times. Tell Jennifer, that Ann told you to call :) -

5 years ago, Jennifer saved me when the post wedding breakfast I prepared for 15 unexpectedly had to feed 30. She cut smaller portions, displayed my food beautifully and cooked eggs to order. She made every guest feel welcomed, washed all my dishes, took out the trash and gave me time with my daughter's new in laws. Jennifer or her assistant are at my home 4-5 time a year to help with large gatherings as baby showers to small book club dinners. -

We had planned an intimate wedding for 75, which we had intended to setup and coordinate ourselves...but when the guest count grew to grew 100+ only 2 weeks before we not only had to move a new venue but we also had to get last minute help! That's when Wonder Women Jennifer and her AMAZING team at Spare Hands came to our rescue! They not only setup our reception site perfectly, they also coordinated other vendors and cleaned up so we could enjoy the evening! Spare Hands truly saved the day and full filled our wedding day vision! Thank you!! -

I've used Spare Hands 1-2 times a year for the last 5 years. I've used them for backyard parties of 70-80 people and small family dinners (8-10 people). I wouldn't hold a party without Spare Hands because, with Spare Hands there, I can actually enjoy my party! I'm able able to talk to my friends because I'm not running around chasing down the details. And, when Spare Hands leaves, everything is cleaned up and thoughtfully put away. Spare Hands will run your party with a quiet graciousness that makes them in charge of getting it done and, at the same time, never in the way. It feels like you've got a good friend running your party. My friends always ask me, "who is that wonderful woman??" -

We didn't start out with a wedding coordinator, and did most of the planning ourselves. We met Jennifer a few weeks before the wedding, and while telling her what we had planned, she brought up a number of things we had not considered. We decided to hire Spare Hands, and they really made the rest of the planning and managing the wedding effortless. The personal attention provided to the bride was unexpected but really appreciated. Everything just happened the way it was supposed to, and we were able to pay attention to our guests and each other rather than logistics. It made for a wonderful day! -

Jennifer and her staff were extremely professional, friendly and personable to all of our guests, and truly unflappable in stressful situations. I was a nervous wreck on wedding day and with so many moving parts I was so thankful that her crew took charge and knew just what to do, all the while reassuring me and making me feel that everything was under control and coming together beautifully. I cannot really put into words how great and indispensable Spare Hands were at our wedding but here goes:
We originally hired Spare Hands because our venue had a very strict cleanup time and our day-of coordinator suggested we bring on some extra staff to help tidy everything up at the end of the night. We also wanted some people to be able to help set up in the morning, and to make sure our guests were doing okay with the buffet catering on the day. We got in touch with Jennifer who was very friendly and communicative all through the planning process, and she helped us to figure out how many staff we needed and how long for.
Then the wedding day happened and Spare Hands just blew our minds with how much more they did for us. On top of helping with the setup, they were super attentive to everyone’s needs, and basically just managed to be wherever they were needed about five seconds before you knew you needed them.
They were especially great with me and my wife. As you can imagine our attentions were a little divided, but Jennifer and her team took so much care of us – bringing us food at lunchtime while we got ready for the ceremony (and little refreshments after the ceremony, which gave us enough energy to do all the meeting and greeting), as well as bringing us water and other drinks whenever we asked (and sometimes before we knew to ask!). All throughout they would check in on us to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything, without being obtrusive at all. They just helped to make the whole thing run smoothly so we could enjoy our wedding day in peace. I’m sure they did even more than we know about- but like special effects in movies, with the best ones you don’t even realise what amazing things they did. -

Jennifer was extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive! The bartender (Kim) was professional and also super fun. My guests enjoyed interacting with her. If I ever have the need I would definitely use Spare Hands again! -
