Where do I even begin to describe my experience with Southwind Events & Nikeva? They literally made our dreams come true. From the moment I first spoke to Nikeva she put me at ease, and over the course of planning she was always calm, organized and incredibly creative. A week after my wedding, I am still marveling at how she took everything I envisioned in my mind and made it real. On top of all that, Nikeva always made me feel like the only bride in her orbit. So many guests at my wedding raved about how smoothly everything went off, and said I must have an incredible planner - they were right! I cannot recommend Southwind Events enough - working with this team is the best gift you could give yourself. I know I am eternally grateful for the magic they made happen!SouthWind Events's reply:

From the very beginning of our wedding planning process through the final moments of our wedding day, Nikeva at SouthWind Events exceeded every expectation we had. She was incredibly attentive, organized, and detail-oriented from our first meeting, which immediately gave us confidence that our wedding was in the best hands.
Throughout the planning journey, she stayed consistently proactive and on top of every detail. Timelines, vendor coordination, design elements, and logistics were all handled seamlessly. Her communication was clear and timely, and she always made us feel supported and informed. No question ever felt too small, or crazy and every concern was met with thoughtful solutions and reassurance.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran flawlessly. Not a single detail was overlooked, and we never once had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes.Nikeva and her team executed every aspect of the day with precision and professionalism, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy each moment. In the few moments where my nerves naturally kicked in, she and her team knew exactly what to say to keep us calm, grounded, and present.
Her team was equally incredible! They were kind, professional, and completely in sync ensuring the day flowed effortlessly from start to finish. Hiring Nikeva was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you are looking for a planner who is organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and truly invested in your experience, we cannot recommend her enough. -

We were originally looking for a day-of coordinator to help keep us organized and make sure everything ran smoothly, but with Southwind we got that and so much more. From their clear communication and incredible organization to always keeping it real, Nikeva and her team truly treated us like family from start to finish. She put us, our bridal party, and our families completely at ease. So much so that we almost forgot we’d spent a whole year planning a wedding! We’re beyond grateful for everything you did to make our day so seamless and special!! -

I was looking for someone who I could trust to see my vision and let me enjoy my special day without worry. Nikeva has a warm personality; she’s also confident , knows her stuff & takes great control. Nikeva gave me a feeling of relief and kept me smiling. Nikeva's extensive experience in project management in the corporate world is one of the many reasons she is the most professional, organized, and flexible people I've encountered in the wedding industry. She is an incredible advocate for her clients when working with vendors and makes you feel as though you're the only bride & groom she's working with. The team she has put together to assist with day of coordination is amazing at managing bridal parties no matter the size (ours was 20 people). Our families also enjoyed working with Nikeva and her team! Everyone is a happy customer with SouthWind Events. -

Straight up: you need a wedding planner/coordinator. Take it from me! And if you've already admitted that yourself, then PLEASE consider Nikeva and the team at Southwind Events. She's who you NEED in your corner if planning a wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of the work she put in to make our day so special. In the beginning, we naively thought that we could both hire all the vendors ourselves and coordinate successfully with them on wedding day. As the day drew closer, we knew handling vendors and sticking to an itinerary would be very difficult in day's excitement. Once all vendors were hired and most stylistic decisions were completed, I made the introductions and she handled everything from there. Day of, Nikeva and her team kept us on schedule, worry-free and handled all the behind-the-scenes To-Dos so we and our families could enjoy every minute. Her team worked closely with us as we got ready in the morning and through pre-ceremony pictures while Nikki was on-site at the venue running the show. Her team of Brianna and Horace vibed so well with our wedding party and make us feel completely at ease. I never looked at the clock once all day, which is to say I was totally in the moment from start to finish.SouthWind Events's reply:

Having no experience in event planning and facing the fact you are embarking on a potentially overwhelming and expensive experience of a lifetime is unnerving. It was a pleasure to meet Nikeva from Southwinds events. She was composed and professional . I quickly relaxed and enjoyed allowing her to design the perfect wedding day for my one and only daughter. Absolutely the best experience ever! Me and my husband have no experience planning weddings lol and she came it and made it the easiest best experience we could have ever had. I did not have to worry about anything at all. She made sure that I got everything that I wanted and more. It was even better because she truly cares, it’s not just a job she truly cares about seeing you have the best for your important day. Nikeva was very professional in our almost 2 year wedding planning process. She was very organized and detailed oriented. Both of these were important to me because, wedding planning is stressful on top of regular life events/things and I am a details girl! I am here for all of the little special things that add to the big picture. She was there to keep me on track with deadlines for vendor selections, important dates (Sending save the dates, sending invites, RSVP, etc), creating a look for ceremony and reception and brought ideas I had never thought of. Throughout our planning process, she got to know me and understood what I liked and didn't like; which made the planning process so much easier and actually pretty fun!SouthWind Events's reply:

South Wind Events exceeded all my expectations. I thought I had the planning covered by the venue but 10 days to my event, the coordinator left the job. South Wind Events contacted all my vendors and had the whole event running on a tight schedule- all with 9 days notice. Nikeva and her team were lifesavers!SouthWind Events's reply:

Absolutely amazing
I have to say SouthWind Events is thee absolute best hands down! From the time of our first conversation and there after Nikeva was on point. They didn’t miss a beat, i appreciate her giving me take aways to complete by our next meeting which kept me on top of things. She pushed for deadlines to be completed so that i can enjoy the last week before wedding day. She was in constant communication with vendors where i didn’t have to be, scheduling set which was on point, day of wedding she made it easy for me. Day of wedding, setup was BEAUTIFUL, and it blew us away. I know we made the best decision ever in choosing SouthWind Events to coordinate our wedding! Everyone was so impressed and loved this team, they really are great!! I will tell anyone that is getting married, SouthWind is your go to for coordinating. Nikeva played superwoman that day. Omg my husband and I wedding day would’ve been a complete disaster if she didn’t come save the day! My uncle Markis told her our situation and man o man we literally had only two days left until our big day and it was a lot that needed to be done. We were both under so much stress during the rehearsal so my uncle called her and lord did she save us in the two days we had left! I felt so much better! She made our day a night to remember. Still to this day, our guest said that our wedding was the best wedding that they have ever been to.SouthWind Events's reply:
