Where do I even begin to describe my experience with Southwind Events & Nikeva? They literally made our dreams come true. From the moment I first spoke to Nikeva she put me at ease, and over the course of planning she was always calm, organized and incredibly creative. A week after my wedding, I am still marveling at how she took everything I envisioned in my mind and made it real. On top of all that, Nikeva always made me feel like the only bride in her orbit. So many guests at my wedding raved about how smoothly everything went off, and said I must have an incredible planner - they were right! I cannot recommend Southwind Events enough - working with this team is the best gift you could give yourself. I know I am eternally grateful for the magic they made happen!

Nikeva Makes It Happen
Straight up: you need a wedding planner/coordinator. Take it from me! And if you've already admitted that yourself, then PLEASE consider Nikeva and the team at Southwind Events. She's who you NEED in your corner if planning a wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of the work she put in to make our day so special. In the beginning, we naively thought that we could both hire all the vendors ourselves and coordinate successfully with them on wedding day. As the day drew closer, we knew handling vendors and sticking to an itinerary would be very difficult in day's excitement. Once all vendors were hired and most stylistic decisions were completed, I made the introductions and she handled everything from there. Day of, Nikeva and her team kept us on schedule, worry-free and handled all the behind-the-scenes To-Dos so we and our families could enjoy every minute. Her team worked closely with us as we got ready in the morning and through pre-ceremony pictures while Nikki was on-site at the venue running the show. Her team of Brianna and Horace vibed so well with our wedding party and make us feel completely at ease. I never looked at the clock once all day, which is to say I was totally in the moment from start to finish.

A Class Act
Having no experience in event planning and facing the fact you are embarking on a potentially overwhelming and expensive experience of a lifetime is unnerving. It was a pleasure to meet Nikeva from Southwinds events. She was composed and professional . I quickly relaxed and enjoyed allowing her to design the perfect wedding day for my one and only daughter. The day was spectacular. I received so many compliments, I felt guilty not having her by my side every moment to hear them. I have much gratitude for Southwinds events.

Nikeva was very professional in our almost 2 year wedding planning process. She was very organized and detailed oriented. Both of these were important to me because, wedding planning is stressful on top of regular life events/things and I am a details girl! I am here for all of the little special things that add to the big picture. She was there to keep me on track with deadlines for vendor selections, important dates (Sending save the dates, sending invites, RSVP, etc), creating a look for ceremony and reception and brought ideas I had never thought of. Throughout our planning process, she got to know me and understood what I liked and didn't like; which made the planning process so much easier and actually pretty fun!

Absolutely the best experience ever! Me and my husband have no experience planning weddings lol and she came it and made it the easiest best experience we could have ever had. I did not have to worry about anything at all. She made sure that I got everything that I wanted and more. It was even better because she truly cares, it’s not just a job she truly cares about seeing you have the best for your important day. She was so organized with everything that she did, and made sure that nothing was left missing from our special day! Do not hesitate, she is the best!

South Wind Events exceeded all expectations
South Wind Events exceeded all my expectations. I thought I had the planning covered by the venue but 10 days to my event, the coordinator left the job. South Wind Events contacted all my vendors and had the whole event running on a tight schedule- all with 9 days notice. Nikeva and her team were lifesavers!

Patient and understanding!
SouthWind Events is a great vendor to work with! While the planning process is stressful, making decisions is also a huge piece to planning a wedding. Nikeva helped me through every uncertainly, and made herself available to answer all questions. I enjoyed working with her, and built a trusting relationship in such a short amount of time. I knew nothing about planning a wedding, but she never made my thoughts or ideas feel "less than." You want a vendor that will hear you, please consider SouthWind Events.

I have to say SouthWind Events is thee absolute best hands down! From the time of our first conversation and there after Nikeva was on point. They didn’t miss a beat, i appreciate her giving me take aways to complete by our next meeting which kept me on top of things. She pushed for deadlines to be completed so that i can enjoy the last week before wedding day. She was in constant communication with vendors where i didn’t have to be, scheduling set which was on point, day of wedding she made it easy for me. Day of wedding, setup was BEAUTIFUL, and it blew us away. I know we made the best decision ever in choosing SouthWind Events to coordinate our wedding! Everyone was so impressed and loved this team, they really are great!! I will tell anyone that is getting married, SouthWind is your go to for coordinating. Nikeva was detailed, responsive, solution oriented, & incredibly resourceful! Not only did she help with planning the wedding, she found the makeup vendor, the venue, & the flowers! She took off 99% stress because she knew the vision the plan & achieved it. Even the smallest detail was on her list that we hadn’t considered - will definitely use her services again!

The best planner for all occasions!
In 2018, Southwind Events planned and coordinated and amazing wedding experience for my husband and I. From beginning to end, Nikeva and her team made sure my husband and I had no worries or stresse during the planning stage. She handled all vendors, and even found me and amazing makeup artist and florist. Everything from the rehearsal to the reception (cake and punch and formal) went smoothly because she works efficiently and professionally. Now, two years later and my husband and I are expecting our first baby! Nikeva and her team made sure that we were able to have a wonderful baby shower to celebrate during these uncertain time. She made sure all CDC guidelines were followed, and that all guests (about 15) adhered to COVID restrictions (masks, social distancing, etc.) And she definitely has a true gift for making any space look absolutely beautiful and to the taste of her clients. For any special occasion you want to commentorate, Southwind Events is the way to go! No matter what, you will feel loved and celebrated.

Southwind Events to the rescue!
Southwind Events was a life saver! I was attending my niece's wedding rehearsal one evening and was asked to coordinate a wedding procession. When I asked why me, a comment was made that I should know how to do it since I'm married! The following day, I contacted SwE! They contacted my niece, coordinated the whole wedding and reception with little to no time left! My niece and new nephew had a great wedding, reception, and a videographer to capture all the memories. All of which was provided by Southwind Events. The staff was professional, punctual, coordinated, and a complete joy to have at the venue! When a couple is getting married, they have enough to worry about, let SwE do the heavy lifting and your event will be amazing! Will definitely hire them and refer them for future events.

Nikeva played superwoman that day. Omg my husband and I wedding day would’ve been a complete disaster if she didn’t come save the day! My uncle Markis told her our situation and man o man we literally had only two days left until our big day and it was a lot that needed to be done. We were both under so much stress during the rehearsal so my uncle called her and lord did she save us in the two days we had left! I felt so much better! She made our day a night to remember. Still to this day, our guest said that our wedding was the best wedding that they have ever been to.
