Coordinated Vintage Dream
Southern Vintage Table (SVT) was a joy to work with. We had a distinct vision of using my mother's vintage tablecloth collection, and matching vintage plates to the unique undertones of each table cloth. SVT immediately understood our vision, and hand chose each set of plates to go at each table. She brought our vision to life and we could not have been happier with the outcome! Additionally, she was budget friendly. We cannot recommend SVT more!

Unique, curated tablescapes for a memorable event!
Shelly at Southern Vintage Table knows how to make any event unique and special. With an array of vintage tableware in varying styles and colors to choose from, you are sure to find the curated look you are hoping for. In the beginning stages of wedding planning, I was hoping to source my own dinner plates and colorful goblets because I love thrifting/collecting and learning about different vintage tableware, but I'm so glad I decided to rent from Shelly instead. Going to Southern Vintage Table's office space/showroom is such a wonderful, novel experience. Shelly has all her inventory on display, organized by color and style (the goblets look like they're glowing on the shelves!), and she encourages you to go through her items and mock up your own tablescape. Interacting with the vintage items in this distinctive way and getting to know Shelly better was a highlight in the wedding planning process. What was even better was seeing how the beautiful tableware (each with a story and history) I selected for my wedding come to life on the tables, seeing the ones I loved talking about the plates and goblets, eating and drinking and laughing together. Tableware can play an unexpectedly big role on a special day like a wedding and, for me and most of my guests, it certainly left a mark on our collective memory.

I am so glad that our wedding planner introduced us to Shelly and her company, Southern Vintage Table. Having unique glassware, flatware and plates did not even cross my mind but after seeing the plethora of options southern vintage table had I was so excited to try something a little different. Our venue was an industrial building and our colors were Sage and blue so the blue and clear glasses went very well with the vibes along with the flatware and white/gold plates. My planner and I were able to meet with Shelly and complete a thorough table setting utilizing different options she had. I am a visual person so this allowed me to truly picture what everything would look like. On top of that Shelly, was kind, professional and a great communicator. The prices were also very reasonable. If I ever have another event or know anyone having an event, I would highly recommend Southern Vintage Table.

Shelly was splendid to work with. Her vintage collections are the foundation for a unique look, and were a perfect fit to our on-farm wedding.
Loved the dishware of various eras, sorted by style for readier mixing and matching. Was also delighted to be able to rent the silverplate, to round out the look. I also far far prefer old things to new, so it was fantastic to find this option. Our wedding was relatively last-minute, and I particularly appreciated her guidance.

Wonderful Dishware from Shelly!
We rented dinner plates, dessert plates, coffee cups, and water goblets from Shelly for our wedding on October 22,2022. The plates she has available are so unique and beautiful, and my mom, mom's best friend, and I had so much fun going and picking them all out. I had a very specific vision so Shelly let us come and pick out the plates for each table setting. Every time you go back to the stacks you find a new, beautiful plate to add into the selection! Shelly is really nice, and she handled dropping off, picking up, and cleaning all of the dishware before and after the event. Her selection of vintage plates is amazing and her customer service is as well! I highly recommend Southern Vintage Table for weddings and any other events where you might want an elegant looking table!

Supplied the perfect touch to the vintage table setting my daughter wanted.
When planning my daughters wedding there were only two things that were non-negotiable must haves for her wedding and Shelly at Southern Vintage was able to help me ensure she had one of them - vintage mix colored glass water goblets. I found her in a Google search for vintage glassware because many of the places near me didn’t have them, or required me to hire them in some form of wedding package to be able to use them. For example, one florist had them, but I needed to hire her for florals and table settings to use them. Shelly rents literally anything you need and works with you in what ever form
you want/need. She has a massive quantity of vintage table setting styles in plates, glassware, flatware, and more. Pricing is right on her website and this transparency made it very easy for me to plan accordingly and even know if I could afford them and inquire further. This is a major time saver - instead of having to send a request email for a quote and wait for a response. She worked with me on every aspect so I could pick them up and return them myself as I chose to do to save myself some expense. When everything’s was said and done, the glassware was the final touch to the table that made everything pop and gave it the true vintage vibe. Absolutely love!!!!

Shelly has a beautiful collection of goblets and china to choose from. From our first meeting to view her inventory, to the final plate selection she was a true gem to work with. Set the tone for our vintage-themed wedding
We were going for a 1930s feel and Shelly at Southern Vintage Table turned that vision into reality. Bonus: rentals were not only unique, they fit our budget better than the large event rental companies we considered! Shelly gave us time and space to explore her incredible collection and experiment with table designs in person, and lent her expertise as well. We love the mismatched settings we ended up with and our guests had so much fun comparing beautiful plates. Our water goblet rentals from Shelly added the pop of color we needed at our reception. It wouldn’t have been the same without Southern Vintage Table! 10/10 would recommend!

Perfect touch to a Bridal Shower!
Helping my mom post this review:
My daughter hosted a bridal tea shower for my other daughter at our home. While looking at Tea Time Magazine for inspiration, I found an article on renting vintage china. One of the places offering this service was Southern Vintage Table in North Carolina. I contacted Shelly at Southern Vintage Table (southernvintagetable.com) to talk about what we needed. There would be 20 attendees, so we opted for the Tea Party for 12 package with additional place settings. Everything was included and was absolutely beautiful. The package included teacups and saucers, dessert plates, silverware, water goblets, napkins, sugar/creamer set, tiered cake stands, and a hot water urn that quickly heated up a large volume of water in a short amount of time. We upgraded to pink goblets and they really enhanced the look. The guests couldn’t believe how beautiful everything looked. The vintage tea china added so much to the event. It was very reasonably priced and Shelly was a delight to work with, even accommodating some last-minute changes. We found bridal tea shower games/menus/placecards on Etsy and supplemented with pastel decorations. We served tea sandwiches, mini quiches, crabcakes on crostini, scones (using King Arthur Baking Company mixes made ahead and frozen), and assorted sweets. Guests ranged in age from 8 to 86 and all had a wonderful time.

IC Weddings was amazing! At the beginning of our wedding planning journey we decided we did not want videography. However, in the months leading up to the wedding we realized we would regret that decision. Our wedding planner connected us with IC Weddings and I am so glad she did! The services were affordable (which is a gem when dealing with the wedding industry) and they captured every moment! IC Weddings were a pleasure to work with on the wedding day and were so discrete I often forgot they were there. We will definitely be calling them for future events!

Beautiful vintage wedding reception
My daughter Caroline has a love of vintage china and it was her one request to have mismatched vintage china, silverware and goblets for her wedding reception. She found Southern Vintage Table and made the appointment for us to meet Shelly in her showroom for an afternoon. What a wonderful experience that was! Shelly has a huge inventory and a wealth of knowledge, so she and Caroline enjoyed setting up a table and placing her order. We met in July and never had to worry again! Shelly delivered to us 2 days before the Nov. 6th wedding and we had the best time setting up the tables! The reception was beautiful and we received tons of compliments on the fabulous vintage look! We would highly recommend working with Southern Vintage Table!

Dream Vendor Experience
Southern Vintage Table was my overall best vendor experience throughout the planning of my daughter’s wedding. When we first walked in, we were a little disappointed that it was smaller than expected but it didn’t take long to realize how many beautiful vintage items were available. The owner, Shelly, was very friendly and eager to help in any way without being overbearing. She let us play with our ideas for table settings and offered suggestions based on what my daughter visualized for her wedding. Once we decided on what we wanted, Shelly quickly put together a reasonable quote for our picks. We wanted Shelly to actually set the tables herself at the wedding and she agreed to do so at a fair price. Shelly was the only vendor we worked with who did everything she promised to do and followed our requests exactly. I also decided to throw a Tea Party bridal shower and Southern Vintage Table had everything I needed. I highly recommend this vendor and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Vintage perfection!
I knew I wanted our wedding to have vintage, whimsical elements and as soon as our planner took us to visit Southern Vintage Table, I was sold! We used SVT for our reception goblets, dinner and dessert plates and I could not have been happier with them, or with Shelly! Shelly is such a wonderful, considerate, and helpful person to work with — exactly the kind of calming presence you want to be around when you’re planning a high-stress event like a wedding. She was super flexible (working through a wedding postponement with her was seamless), letting me come in and spend an afternoon picking out the exact plates I wanted to use, and helping me label which table I wanted each one to be set at during our reception. I could’ve spent days looking through everything in her unique collection, and using her goblets and plates really added a distinctive touch that helped our wedding feel more personalized and true to our tastes. Shelly made everything super easy, and she offered expert advice when we needed it. I can’t recommend her enough!

This review comes a little late, however I wanted to share how great Shelly was to work with. I came in struggling to find my vision, she was incredibly patient, and had no problem walking me through her amazing collection of antique china. She was very responsive and flexible. The Perfect Table Scape
Looking for amazing dish and glass ware?? How about cake plates (we used several for a charcuterie table on steroids). We also had glassware water glasses and amazing vintage champagne glasses and silverware!!! From start to finish, working with the owner Shelly was an experience I held all our other vendors to in comparison… we had actually met her in a thrift store hunting for perfect pieces to add to her VAST collection, and she had us hooked!
Several of our wedding guests complimented us on our beautiful plates and dishes…she helped us bring our vision of a perfect beach wedding to life!!
I can’t wait to have another party so I can use her again…!!!

Gorgeous assortment of rentals that will elevate your event!
Loved working with Shelly! Fell in love with her assortment of vintage goblets & knew they needed to be a part of our reception decor. We also rented white plates, silverware, various cake stands for our cupcake display & a large chalkboard. She delivered and picked up and everything went smoothly. Oh and her shop in Hillsborough is adorable! Definitely consider her for your event!

Gorgeous vintage details!
I visited Southern Vintage Table soon after we started planning our wedding, and absolutely fell in love with Shelly's pieces! As soon as I saw the vintage light blue glasses, I knew I had to have them for our wedding, and planned our whole tablescape around them. They were the perfect pop of color, and matched our classic-but-unique vibe. We also used Shelly's gorgeous blue and white dessert plates for cake. I highly recommend you take a look at her incredible collection -- I'm sure you'll find something to fit your color scheme and vibe!
Shelly was also incredibly easy to work with -- unfortunately, we had to move our wedding multiple times due to covid-19, but she was always lovely, responsive, and flexible. Pick-up and delivery was seamless. Thank you, Shelly -- I hope we'll have the chance to work together again!

I can’t recommend SVT enough! Shelly was incredibly delightful and helpful from the beginning. Her inventory is so well curated and beautiful, and has enough variety so we felt we were really able to make our tables suit our personal style. I can’t think of anything that Shelly could have done better! We rented 150 glass cups and silverware sets. Everything was perfectly cleaned and packaged in a way that made me feel confident in transporting the materials. Cups were placed in crates to prevent breaking during transit without lots of extra paper or packaging. The crates were a manageable weight so I didn’t worry about pulling a muscle while carrying them! One of the best parts was that Shelly did all the washing of dirty dishes! I would definitely recommend this company!!

We rented some vintage candle stick holders from her. Not only were they 100x better than we had imagined she was super responsive and flexible with pick up and drop off time. I cannot say enough good things about Shelly and Southern Vintage Table; she was so helpful and wonderful to work with! We planned our wedding from afar, and really appreciated how responsive and detail-oriented she was in helping us figure out our tablescape, the items/amount of items we needed, how we wanted our napkins folded, etc. Her inventory is extensive and charming-- I'm pretty sure any style (modern, retro, classic) can be accommodated. I am so thrilled we used SVT for our wedding! Shelly was wonderful to work with, and has the most beautiful collection of vintage china. We used the blue & white plates as chargers, to create the English & vintage vibe. I couldn't of been more pleased with the quality of the plates and overall look. I recently rented from Shelley at SVT for our wedding in the mountains of NC. We were going for a "vintage chic" vibe with an abundant amount of florals and she NAILED it. From the vintage glassware to plates and salad plates, our tablescapes were absolutely STUNNING. Not only was everything beautiful, but she made everything so easy. After the wedding, my husband and I were in a rush to get to our honeymoon and Shelley made it so easy for my family and friends to drop off the dishes at her office. I can't tell you how wonderful Shelly was through the whole process! I used Southern Vintage for all of the vintage cake plates and the plates, glassware and silverware for the head table at my wedding. Talk about incredible! Her China is breathtaking! She sent pictures of different options and when I requested to add extra China (literally at the last minute) she responded quickly, and with a "'No problem at all!" It doesn't hurt that Shelly is just SO sweet and truly wants your day to be perfect! :)

Working with Shelly was absolutely wonderful! After meeting with her the first time, we just knew that we would use her for our reception china. We used her mismatched china for our reception table settings, as well as some of her other vintage goodies for our centerpiece designs. Shelly worked with our florist, Springwell Gardens, to pull all of our ideas together into one cohesive look. Our reception décor and china was one of my favorite aspects of our wedding day!

We used Southern Vintage Table for a local wedding, and the rentals from SVT were the perfect touch! We chose a plethora of vintage china plates, as well and blush and blue glassware to showcase on the bar back/bar setup. It was such a smooth, easy, wonderful process from start to finish! All of the rentals were beautiful and exactly as we envisioned for the wedding, and everything looked wonderful. I love working with the team at Southern Vintage Table, and I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

We had a small ceremony in the morning and wanted some fun, mismatched vintage china for our guests to use at a pre-ceremony brunch spread. Working with Shelly was incredibly easy and a wonderful experience. She responded to all of my emails and questions promptly, and even gave us a small discount on our order. On the day of, our guests said the spread was beautiful, and that they felt like they were attending a garden tea party which is exactly the vibe we were going for! Shelly really knows the vibe that brides are going for who come to her for her specialty service. She will take care of you and provide wonderful suggestions to add gorgeous detail and character to your day. Everything was absolutely gorgeous! Don't hesitate - add some charm to your day, too!

The china and goblets from Southern Vintage Table made our wedding reception! Everything was absolutely beautiful and Shelly did the most amazing job at pairing everything together. Shelly was there the day of the wedding meticulously matching up plates and setting out goblets and we couldn't have been happier. Shelly was the sweetest vendor that we had and we immediately had a connection - she took the time to listen to what we wanted and was so intentional about getting to know us and what we wanted in our wedding. She was super responsive to emails and always followed up with us. We got so many compliments on our plates and how our tables looked because of the china and goblets. If I was getting married again, I would absolutely, without a doubt, use Southern Vintage Table again. You can tell that Shelly loves what she does and her main goal is to make the bride and groom happy.

We had a wonderful experience with Shelly at Southern Vintage Table and we would HIGHLY recommend them for your event! Shelly was extremely kind, responsive and professional. She remained very flexible and patient with me (I changed my mind several times about what to order!). The vintage dishes and decor looked amazing at our reception! My daughter's wedding was last night and her reception was beautiful, thanks in great part to the beautiful table settings from Southern Vintage Table. Everyone commented on the simple elegance created by the lovely settings; not just the guests, but the venue staff and caterers, too. Southern Vintage Table created the centerpieces for our wedding reception and filled the room with room with vintage charm! What I loved most was that every centerpiece was different and carefully thought out. It all came together so elegantly and looked gorgeous! Shelly was a pleasure to work with. I found her simply by luck (or fate!), and we met to discuss my vision for my wedding. She had lots of input, and it was clear to me that she took absolute pride and joy in her business. Shelly is super detail oriented. She has such a lovely vintage collection including beautiful china (elegant or casual), glassware, linens, and decor items. I went with the casual collection because the elegant one was already being rented for the same wedding date, but it was no less stunning. I selected amber, pink and blue glassware, which made the tables so fun and colorful, yet elegant in their own way. The vintage suitcases were wonderful for guests to place their gifts, and, at the last minute, we used a vintage record player for the cake stand--beautiful! Shelly came to the site to make sure everything was set up perfectly. I could not be happier with Shelly's service for my wedding. Southern Vintage Table made the reception tables look unique and far from your usual boring table settings. On top of this, many vintage items have a story, and it was wonderful to make new memories with already used items. I highly recommend Shelly for weddings and other special events!

I loved working with Southern Vintage Table for my wedding. Shelly is wonderful to work with. They helped us with a number of beautiful touches for the wedding day, including a welcome lemonade stand and a gorgeous coffee station. My only regret is that we didn't use more of their beautiful, decorative china and services :)

Shelly Heath is an artist! She creates lovely settings with her beautiful china, linens, and unique vintage collection. We were thrilled with her lemonade welcome center for before the wedding and her stunning teacup display for coffee and wedding cake after the ceremony. I could not be happier with the services provided by Shelly and Southern Vintage Table. I have a very hectic work schedule, which can make working with vendors difficult, however this was not the case with Shelly. She always responded in a timely manner to emails and adjusted when I changed my order several times throughout the planning process without a complaint. Her vintage china, glassware, and postcards were perfect additions and really brought everything together on the day of the wedding; everything was clean and in perfect condition. Shelly arrived on time to the wedding, set everything up as discussed and overall is a wonderful person to work with. I have nothing but great things to say about Shelly and Southern Vintage China and would recommend her to anyone who wants a vintage feel to their wedding or other special event!

Gorgeous Glass Goblets & Easy To Work With
Shelly was so easy to work with when picking out colored glass goblets for my wedding. She worked with our vision and offered up her expert advice. We used multiple colors for our wedding and Shelly was great about handpicking glass that matched our scheme to a T! Southern Vintage Table has an excellent collection of vintage dishes, silverware, napkins, glasses, and so much more. I would definitely use her again for my next party!
