Beautiful Wedding Flowers!

Working with Leslie was such a joy - she is professional, responsive, and best of all, she is SO GOOD at what she does. I’ll be the first to admit that I know nothing about flowers, but I am also a bit type A, especially when it came to wedding planning, and Leslie was always there to answer my million questions, suggest different kinds of flowers when I would send her random pictures I found online, and work to make my vision come to life. Our flowers turned out 10 times better than I could have ever imagined and I can’t thank Leslie enough for all of her hard work.

We booked Leslie back in 2019, but had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and she was always super flexible and willing to work with us. About a month before our wedding, my now in-laws asked her if she would be able to do some arrangements for our welcome dinner the night before the wedding - Leslie had another wedding that night, but was willing to help out with this last minute and all of the floral decor for this turned out amazing as well.

I would 10/10 recommend working with Leslie and Southern Stems! Thank you for everything, Leslie!

My dream flowers!

Leslie with Southern Stems was so amazing to work with! I knew the magnolias were the flowers that I absolutely NEEDED to have for my wedding. Leslie made that dream happen. After vaguely describing to her my wedding style, she took that and ran with it! She couldn't have made anything more perfect! The floral arrangements she created brought everything together and was the most perfect detail for my wedding. It rained the day of my wedding so we needed to take pictures on the porch. Leslie had created the most beautiful backdrop for those pictures with magnolia leaves hanging from the chandeliers. She went above and beyond with making everything SO BEAUTIFUL!

Beautiful florals

I will be the first to admit that I know nothing about flowers, but Leslie steered me in the right direction for our wedding florals and the results were amazing. Our colors were navy and burgundy and she incorporated those colors into everything that she did for us. She went out of her way and came to the venue on many occasions to see what lanterns she could use and where she could use the flowers in case of "Plan B" (rain). She put many extra touches everywhere at the venue with greenery here and there to tie each and every part of the wedding together. I would highly recommend her for any of your floral needs!

Leslie with Southern Stems did an amazing job for our May wedding at Foxhall. She provided her professional advice and insight when I was trying to pick out what I wanted. She was incredibly helpful and responsive. We had a few last minute changes and she accommodated without question. Our experience working with Southern Stems was amazing.

Leslie is one of the nicest, most talented florist! I didn't meet her until a few months before the wedding to start getting an idea of what we wanted to see! As someone who knows nothing about flowers, she took my floral bridesmaids dresses, the guys suits, and ties, and went to town. She was throwing around names of flowers I had never heard of but she would show me a picture and I would be in love. Having floral bridesmaids dresses I was worried about flowers being too much but I was so wrong. She did a WONDERFUL job and I was obsessed with our flowers that day. She took the reception to a whole other level with the placement of flowers and reusing bouquets to give a whole new look to the guestbook table. Leslie is amazingly talented and so passionate about her work. It was so much fun to describe what I wanted and watch her face light up with ideas about floral arrangements and decorations. Everything turned out beautifully! She made the day absolutely gorgeous.

Leslie was truly a pleasure to work with. We were out-of-staters who communicated with vendors via emails and phone calls for nearly the entirety of the wedding planning process. As such, we really appreciated (and only worked with) vendors who were super responsive. For both decor and the bouquets, I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted. Leslie was able to provide incredible insight which made the process of finalizing floral arrangements quick and painless.

Leslie is so down to earth and such a talented person. She made my mom and I feel so special as we went through the floral design process. I loved working with her, I don't know a lot about flowers so she took my basic concepts and worked with me to create an amazing vision based off what she knew would look good and not just in theory. I couldn't stop thanking her for my florals, everyone thought most of them were fake because they were so beautiful. She rearranged her busy schedule to meet with me during times of panic. She made my enchanted outdoor garden wedding theme come to fruition even though it was inside. Truly magical!

I have always believed that it is never too late to say I'm sorry, I love you, or thank you...and in this case, a thank you in the form of a review is LONG overdue. My husband and I were married at Vinewood Plantation on October 30, 2015; it will forever be the very best day of my life. Leslie with Southern Stems did the most amazingly beautiful job with the florals for the bouquets, the boutonnieres, the corsages, my hair, and the decor for the ceremony and the reception. Our wedding planner and Leslie helped me to navigate the process of choosing and communicating information about florals remotely as this was a destination wedding for us. At our final walkthrough meeting she was prepared, warm, and very accommodating. I would recommend Leslie and her talented team at Southern Stems for anyone in that area.

Leslie was absolutely fantastic and my flowers were everything I envisioned! I honestly had no idea what types of flowers I wanted or how to describe what I liked but we sat down and looked through my pinterest board I had made with favorites I'd seen and she was able to pick out the flowers that I apparently liked (because they were in almost every photo!) and offer look-alike suggestions if they weren't in season or if we needed to cut back on the budget. Highly highly recommend. She's wonderful and has such a creative vision, you won't be disappointed!

Leslie is incredibly talented! Flowers were very important to me, as I'm a very outdoorsy/nature-loving person. That said, I wanted unique--and that's exactly what she created for me! Her visions are fantastic. I had multiple guests tell me our flowers were the best they'd ever seen, and I have to agree!

I cannot say enough great things about Leslie! She is beyond talented and made the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen for my wedding. I was very unsure about what I wanted, and only really had colors in mind. I let Leslie take the lead and create what she thought would be best, and I was stunned at what an incredible job she did! I would HIGHLY recommend Leslie to anyone!

Leslie was wonderful to work with, she easily grasped my vision and was able to change some things around to match my budget, and she made beautiful bouquets and center pieces for not spending too much on it! I am thoroughly pleased with how the flowers turned out, which has always been something I wanted to be grand at my wedding because I adore flowers!

Leslie was wonderful to work with and her flowers for our reception and ceremony were just gorgeous. She was very responsive to emails and calls, professional and had great rates.

She's local to the Newnan area where we had our wedding, so it was a great fit for us. A genuinely nice person in an industry that can seem very cold and greedy, Leslie and her flowers were an amazing addition to our special day.

Leslie at Southern Stems exceeded my expectations on the day of my wedding! When we first met, I had my heart set on lots of peonies, and she advised me that they were not in season for my date... but then she got on Pinterest with me and we sat there passing images back and forth until I had decided on something. The day of, the flowers looked amazing, and she even modified my bouquet last minute after a change of my dress sash because it would look better! She and my coordinator, Signature Weddings & Events, also made a day of change to the table arrangements, again, because they really cared about how it would look. This flexibility meant the world to me!

The wedding flowers from Southern Stems were beautiful! The bride chose lime green, peach and tangerine for her colors. Leslie was very communicative and professional and provided us with the prettiest bouquets for the bridal party and the reception. We couldn't have been happier with them and loved working with her.

Leslie and Southern Stems provided simply stunning flowers for my daughter's late September wedding. Because of the season, we were combining late summer and early fall- Leslie caught that vision immediately. She also understood that Jordan wanted atypical bouquets- not round but more free form. Leslie met with us and showed us dozens of pictures of unusual flowers from which to choose. Leslie also understood our budget and was very flexible when her first estimate was just too much. She adjusted the size and scope of the bouquets and they were perfect. Each bridesmaid had a different dress and Leslie caught that vision as well, crafting each bouquet in its own unique way. Southern Stems was a pleasure to work with and delivered gorgeous flowers.

I walked into my consultation with Southern Stems not having a clue what I wanted for my big day. She was so great (and patient) with helping me envision what I wanted and piecing everything together. Any time I needed to contact her she was available. The table arrangements, the bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the isle arrangements were all stunning. She did an absolutely fabulous job for a very reasonable price. She really made my wedding day perfect!

We love Leslie! The flowers for my daughter's wedding were amazing. I literally gasped when I saw the bouquets. Leslie took our vision and gave us that and more. The peonies and garden roses were breathtaking and HUGE! When we walked into Summerour for the reception we were thrilled. Tons of different size and type of floral arrangements in various containers, but all in complimentary colors so that each table and station was different, but still cohesive. Perfection. Leslie was very responsive to our questions and communication was very easy. I was very happy with the price and especially the value for the money. I have and will continue to recommend her to friends and would use Southern Stems again.

The flowers provided by Southern Stems exceeded all of my expectations. I was a bit nervous because I did not see a sample of the centerpieces or the bouquets prior to my wedding day. However, Leslie's use of color and her vision was far greater than anything I could have imagined. She was able to take my favorite flowers, as well as pictures of centerpieces and bouquets to create beautiful works of art. My floral arrangements were definitely one of my favorite parts of my wedding decor.

Leslie was wonderful! This is another vendor that worked with me on a short time frame. I booked her less than 2 months from the wedding. All communication and transactions were via email and phone. Leslie was extremely responsive and professional. She delivered great work and was affordable for me compared to all the other florist I met with-even when compared to having someone do silk flowers. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased at what she did. I would recommend her to any bride.

Leslie did such a great job with our flowers! She was incredibly helpful all throughout the planning process, very flexible with any changes we wanted to make, and was always understanding with all of our requests. On the day of the wedding, I recieved so many compliments on the beauty of our flowers and I still look at my pictures and am amazed at how beautiful they truly were! Her prices were very competitive too, which definitely helped this bride on a budget. I would gladly recommend her to anyone!

Leslie did an AMAZING job on my flowers. During the planning process she was able to help me decide which direction to go. I had a lot of ideas and Leslie made my vision come true. The flowers were such a focal point to me and they made the venue beautiful. Her designs were perfect on my wedding day and the flowers themselves were so fresh. Her prices were definitely reasonable for the work that she produced. She also sent me a reminder e-mail before the payment was due, which was helpful close to the wedding when you have a million payments due and it's hard to keep track.

Leslie with Southern Stems designed the bridal/bridal party bouquets and ceremony/reception floral arrangements for my wedding. I cannot speak highly enough about her and her company. She did the most amazing job and I am still getting compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. She met with me in person a year before my wedding to discuss my vision, preferences, and opinions on what I wanted. I had a pretty specific idea about the colors and floral types that I wanted and she was able to design a great proposal that met both my wants and my budget. I was actually surprised at just how great her prices were and was able to add more flowers that I originally planned on, which is unheard of! About 3 months before my wedding, I had a change of heart and decided I wanted to make a lot of changes to my floral options. Leslie was more than happy to accomodate and sent me a new proposal complete with all my changes. The day of my wedding she hand delivered my bouquet and I was stunned with how gorgeous it was. It was exactly what I had envisioned and more. I cannot recommended Leslie with Southern Stems enough to anyone getting married in Georgia. She is simply fantastic!

Southern Stems had the best value for the under $1k budget that we had for our wedding. I simply explained my budget and Leslie developed several options after discussing my wants. The flowers looked very nice for our bridal party and reception centerpieces. The only thing that we did not get was our complimentary toss bouquet, so be sure to remind her a few days before your event if this is important. We used a bridesmaid bouquet instead.

Leslie was wonderful to work with. I was an out of town bride and she was able to meet me when I was in town. Our wedding was in the fall and I wanted fall colors and various flowers. She was able to create arrangements that meet all expectations and worked with our budget. I highly recommend Leslie and her company Southern Stems!

Southern Stems did a wonderful job for flowers at our ceremony and wedding. Leslie is great at creating whatever vision you might have for your wedding. I found a picture of what I wanted my bouquet to look like and she did an amazing job of duplicating it. She offers options to fit any budget and would highly recommend her services.

Leslie was very nice and easy to work with. I met her once and knew right after the meeting that I wanted her to be my florist for my wedding day. All my flowers looked absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. I didn't know exactly what they were going to look like, but when I saw the bouquets I was in love. She did an amazing job on making my vision come true. The only problem I had was that one type of flower I paid for for my bouquet was not in there. We contacted Leslie about it and she said the flowers were not in good shape. She did refund our money, so that made me feel better. I honestly was so very happy with the way the flowers turned out though. I would definitely recommend Leslie.

Good Vendor. I just wish I could have seen my flowers before. I had flowers going down the aisle and I was concerned that they would tilt over easily because of the vases used with nothing in it to hold it down other than the flowers and she assured me that it would be ok. However, I saw the vase fall twice! Not that big of a deal, but my main issue was that the floral arrangement on the stage was not as large as I requested it and I was very dissapointed about that. It wasnt the vision that I showed her, but it still turned out ok.

I really like Leslie a lot. She is very professional, sweet and very easy to work with. She helped me decide on what's best for certain arrangements and answer questions very quickly and professionally! Working with a florist from across the country was not easy and Leslie made it easy....I had Leslie arranged my bouquet and my BMs bouquets and I ordered loose flowers from her for my reception (because I arranged them the day before my wedding). The only issue I had was my bouquet. I ordered a certain amount of flowers and expected my bouquet to be big, well at least way bigger than my bridesmaids bouquets. It was similar in size and I was a little disappointed. I contacted Leslie after the wedding to inquire what happened to all the missing flowers that I paid for and she explained that some of the flowers that came in was not in good shape, so she worked with what she had, "When making bouquets, sometimes you get to a point where if you add more flowers, it creates another layer which in turn requires even more flowers to finish the layer off." I understand this but I was missing a lot of the flowers I paid for.....An offer for refund would have made me feel a little better. Not to mention I had a TON of those same flowers in the loose flower orders for my reception that she brought to me. That could have easily been added in for me...It seems pity but I did pay a lot of money for a bouquet and not to get everything I paid for was kind of a disappointment in that respect...

The majority of the coordination and communication with this vendor was via email because I was planning my wedding from out of state. However, they were very easy to get in contact with and replied to every concern/email. I was able to meet with the florist one time when I was in town. I provided the florist with swatches that I purchased of the exact colors of my wedding & pictures of exactly what I wanted at the wedding. I was very specific about the colors I wanted for each specific bouquet, boutonniere, centerpiece, etc. The corsages, bouquets, and boutonnieres were exactly as discussed. They were GORGEOUS! However, the large centerpieces during the reception were none of the colors that I asked for. NOT EVEN CLOSE! Additionally, the floating tealight centerpieces that I requested did not resemble the pictures either. I contacted this florist after my wedding & I was informed that "florist get as close as they can". However, that was never discussed in the email when I requested specific colors and types of centerpieces. Basically, easy to do business with but the quality of the work is mediocre for the price paid!
