I cannot imagine my wedding taking place anywhere besides Southern Oaks!
I opted to do the package with them which included catering, bar tending staff, chairs for both ceremony and reception, so much beautiful decor, and so so so much more. For this reason, and so many other reasons, my wedding planning process and wedding day were so stress free and relaxing. Being a very hands on person, it was AMAZING to sit back and relax and trust that every detail was being tended to.
Pam and Bre- you guys are amazing and I cannot thank you enough! Your expertise made my wedding what it was without a doubt!
Damien, thank you for coordinating our wedding day! It all ran so smoothly and we felt taken care of all day long!
All of the time, effort, and genuine care the entire team at Southern Oaks puts in for each bride from start to finish, including me, is another reason I highly recommend this venue.

I am absolutely in awe of this venue! As we toured different venues trying to find the one, Southern Oaks stood out above the rest! They have such a homey feel and truly make you feel special about having your wedding there. Not to mention how beautiful it is! Absolutely amazing
Pam and Bre were amazing to work with from the start of the planning process to the end of the reception. Bre was on-site the day of the wedding as well as the wedding coordinator making sure everything went as planned. They ensured the vendors were setup and ready to go and everything went off as planned. When we got to the venue the morning of the wedding we didn’t have to worry about anything. I wholeheartedly recommend Southern Oaks! They were instrumental in making sure my daughters vision of the perfect wedding was executed seamlessly.

The perfect wedding venue!
I cannot say enough great things about southern oaks! From the very start they were great and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The coordinator made our day run so smoothly that I had no stress at all. Not to mention the newbie itself is stunning. Our guests kept coming up to us all night to say how beautiful the whole venue was. Their in house floral also is absolutely amazing. I got constant compliments on my bouquet. I definitely recommend getting married here!

Memories to be
We took a tour of Southern Oaks a few weeks back and we couldn’t have found a more perfect venue. I have always visioned being wedded under a large oak tree on an open lawn and that’s exactly what was offered! Our date is set for November 2, 2024 which comes to a surprise for some family and friends since it’s not exactly right around the corner, but the wait does not matter to us. For I am certain that this is where I want our memories to be made.

This wedding venue is AMAZING! They are constantly updating and adding to their space and keeping up with trends! Pam and the staff at Southern Oaks made sure our day ran smoothly with no issues. My husband and I felt that we were royalty on the day of our wedding because Southern Oaks catered to our every need and made sure we were fully satisfied with EVERY detail. We stumbled upon Southern Oaks by chance while we were looking at another wedding venue, and it turned out to be the best thing to happen to us while planning our wedding! Pam and Bre have extensive knowledge of wedding planning as well as great connections for other vendors that won't break the bank. During our first planning meeting, I was pretty underprepared but Pam was able to help me create a vision after I showed her a handful of pictures of ideas that I had saved. The other person who really helped make our wedding day the absolute best was the Day of Coordinator/Wedding Director. He made everything run so smoothly and didn't hesitate to continually ask us what we needed in order to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our friends and family can't stop talking about how much of a great time they had at our wedding!

I highly recommend Southern Oaks as a venue. Not only are the chapel and reception area beautiful, but Pam and her team are amazing and super helpful to the bride and groom in wedding planning if you get a package. And the package, which includes the catering and the decor, is definitely worth it! They make the venue beautiful and basically bring your Pinterest dreams to life. Also, there is the added bonus that they do the set up for you, so there is less to stress about on your big day.

This was the first venue we looked at and loved it immediately. Pam and Bri are great to work with and are so knowledgeable about anything wedding related. My sister’s wedding was this past Saturday, 6/6/2020. I have to give a huge shoutout to Southern Oaks & their staff. Pam was extremely helpful throughout the process, especially when an issue with the hotel the bride & groom were staying at caused hiccups. Bre was amazing getting the decor set up just the way the bride wanted and making sure the details were exactly right.
I have to give the biggest shout out & thanks to Damien who was the day of director. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy, taken care of, and having the best time. He ensured the whole event ran smoothly and everyone knew their part in the day. Anytime we needed anything, or had any questions, he was there to answer & assist. So dreamy!
Southern Oaks is hands down the best place to have your wedding. Pam made this so simple from the day we chose our venue. She helps bring your vision to life and goes above and beyond to make sure is truly is the most memorable day. The venue is STUNNING. I have had so many compliments about how beautiful our wedding day was. Pam and her husband are constantly adding on to the venue - you won’t be disappointed. Her staff is equally as helpful and kind. Her daughter Bre was our photographer and made our engagement, bridals, and wedding day photos the easiest, most pain free pictures ever - they are all gorgeous and we had so much fun with her! Southern Oaks is definitely the place to check out for your wedding. I couldn’t have imagined our wedding being anywhere else. Thank you, Pam for making our wedding day everything I dreamed and more!

Exceeded My Expectations!!!
If you want a STRESS FREE wedding then Southern Oaks is HANDS DOWN the venue for you. We got married on December 8th and unfortunately it was calling for 100% chance of rain...and it rained allllllll day...BUT Pam and her crew still created the perfect indoor wedding just as we had planned for outside. That is what is so great about Southern Oaks, you can have your wedding inside if the weather does not cooperate, and that was a HUGE plus and the winning factor for us when chosing a venue. Pam and her staff go above and beyond to create the wedding you wish to have. Our wedding guests continue to comment on how beautiful the decor was and how organized the ceremony/reception was (because this venue gives you a wedding coordinator too). I could just go on and on about how great this venue is, and we will continue to recommend Southern Oaks to anyone we know!

I have done an engagement party and a shower at Southern Oaks. The house & grounds are gorgeous and inviting. The staff is helpful, accomodating, flexible, and oh so nice. They make you feel like family. They will do as much or as little as you need and make excellent and insightful suggestions along the way. It is a beautiful sight for an outdoor wedding - quaint, yet elegant; charming and filled with an aura of love. This house was the family home of one of the nicest and most loving families in this community. That love permeates the house and grounds, and Pam Reeder and her family have only augmented it!

I've attended a wedding here in April 2017, It's a beautiful venue! I'm also having my own wedding here in August! Pam has been such a big help, she makes it so easy and stress free! Pam has even put up with me asking hundreds of questions and meeting all the time! The customer service is great! Besides that it's a beautiful venue with a few different ceremony options, you can include as much stuff as you want or bring in your own! I would recommend this venue to anyone and the price is very reasonable!

This venue is absolutely amazing! Pamela and her whole crew are amazing as well and literally will cater to whatever you need. Her daughter, Bree, was our wedding photographer as well and all the pictures came out perfect! Everything you need is at this venue. Everything from the table Linens cake DJ food and bartender. I recently booked Southern Oaks for my Spring wedding and could not be more excited! Pam has been wonderful to communicate with and was very responsive and accommodating. I had ALOT of questions and even had to schedule 2 tours of the venue in the same day and she was able to work with me. I chose a package that was all inclusive and it immediately felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I have heard nothing but GREAT things about this venue and I cannot wait to celebrate my big day at Southern Oaks!

While I personally did not get married here I have attended several weddings, rehearsal dinners, and showers at this venue and all, while very different, have been wonderful. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to each customer and their guests needs. The venue is always clean and picturesque even when the weather is not. Also, whole off a main highway the venue is very quite and has a very private feel. I would definitely recommend this venue to a bride who wants a stress free wedding.

Had issues that I could not overlook
While I love this venue and think it is beautiful I had several issues that would not allow me to give it a high rating. I was hoping that the venue would have reached out to me with an explanation or apology but that did not happen.
1. I asked, numerous times, for a specific flower to not be used in the reception or ceremony and that flower was used more than any other flower. My coordinator asked them about this at the rehersal dinner and they still used this flower.
2. Bud vases had only 1 flower in them considering how much floral costs this felt very cheap to me.
3. During both of my in person meetings I asked about the whitle lights in the courtyard and in the garden atrium and I was assured that they would be working. They were not. The only reason I know why is due to me asking my coordinator and she had to go find out. I was not told by the venue.
4. In the house that I was able to use to get ready there was a smoke detector that needed it's battery changed that kept beeping. That made the day unpleasant for me.
5. Your bridesmaids are not allowed to leave their bag in the house and the bride is only allowed 1 bag to be left. So after getting ready, right before walking down the isle the bridemaids all had to return their stuff to their cars. This was not okay. My bag and my dress (the part I did not wear) was not wear I had it hangning. Instead it was laid on a couch in another room without my permission and knowledge.
6. Be advised that emails do not get answered and texts only get answered a few days a week.
