    Above and Beyond!

    Christine and her crew did a phenomenal job bartending at our wedding! She went above and beyond to help us know what quantities to purchase, provided excellent service to our guests, and made the best specialty drinks for us. We highly recommend using them for your event and/or wedding!

    Easy and Affordable

    Hiring SOHO saved us a ton compared to hiring a full open-bar service. Working with Christine was easy, and she answered any questions we had right away. All our guests were served efficiently and our wedding went smoothly! Thank you! :)

    Above and Beyond!

    From the beginning I had a great feeling about Soho- Christine set everything up with me, was so diligent and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Cheryl was our bar tender for the evening, and oh my goodness was she amazing as well! She was sweet, great with the guests, and even helped out with a "pickle' we were in and made it flawless. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful experience we had with them!

    Fit Our Needs Perfectly

    They were on time, professional, and courteous. They were so helpful with the planning of our wedding in giving great advice on how much alcohol to purchase. The customer service was great in the planning stage, payment was easy, and the bartender who served at our wedding was great! She was friendly and knowledgeable.

    Great experience!

    Southern Hospitality provided servers and a bartender for our wedding. We worked with Christine who was very friendly, adaptable and attentive to details. Our servers were proactive and provided excellent customer service. Plus, our bartender was very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend contacting Southern Hospitality for any upcoming celebrations.

    Southern hospitality made the process of finding a bartender easy and stress-free. They are helpful, efficient, and knowlegable. And the price? So affordable. I will definitely recommend soho to all of my friends and keep them in mind for any future events!

    We didn't have a wedding planner and we had no experience putting together a wedding. All we had was a lot of loving friends willing to help and everyone did a great job. But we all agreed that we could not have done this without the girls at Southern Hospitality!

    Pat and her crew were very attentive, went above and beyond. Most of all they took very good care of everyone, put us all at ease in managing the crowd. Definitely go with southern hospitality with all my future events.

    I came upon Southern Hospitality at the last minute and OMG did they come through. Everyone was super happy with the drinks. The cost was extremely reasonable. And somehow they managed to find ice in the time of a hurricane. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

    We used Southern Hospitality to serve food we picked up from a restaurant for an outdoor wedding at a house. The two servers were great, they heated the food to the correct temperature and put it out at the correct time. All of the food and drink service went smoothly without any supervision from the family (we did have a wedding planner). The owner was very prompt in contacting me after I sent her an e-mail; I received her call within 30 minutes. A few days before the wedding the owner called again to ask about the details. She brought up issues we had not thought of so we were prepared with extra items. I highly recommend their services.

    WE hired a server for a house party from Southern Hospitality and could not be happier. Her name is Nicole Owens, and she was prompt, professional, and very motivated. We discussed what we would like and she took her job to next level. It was a very relaxed group and she was assisting with every guest and any chore that was required.     Liz was great! She showed up right on time and took right over! We didn't have to worry about anything, and she was amazing with our clients!     You should absolutely not hesitate! You will not be disappointed.

    Christine was always so polite and extremely helpful. This was my first time doing this and she very willingly and patiently held my hand and walked me through it.

    The staff member she sent to my home was nothing less than phenomenal! She went above and beyond - and was always smiling and very friendly. She literally did not stop from the moment she entered my home to the time she sat in her car to depart.

    I was extremely happy with this service and will not hesitate to use it again in the future.

    Used them for a small (40 people or so) private party, and they made it possible for us to enjoy our own party. Everything from answer the door, to periodic cleanup, to changing out the buffet table, to keeping an eye on guests in need of a refill, everything was perfect.

    We hired a server and a bartender for a company event and both girls were awesome! They didn't need much instruction and went straight to work as soon as they got there. They were attentive to guests and the server also helped bar tend when the bar got super busy. Both girls were very pleasent, professional, and even dressed up for our theme as I requested. Couldn't be happier with our service!

    I used Southern Hospitality to provide a server for a dinner party of eight guests. Krista, my server, was fabulous! Showed up early, brought extra serving items, offered some recommendations, took most tasks off my plate and efficiently handled nearly everything including the final meal preparation and clean up.     I was referred to your company by my friend Anthony Mering at Simple Weddings.
    I had almost 100 people for a Halloween party. The people who were sent to work this party were amazing. When asked by the Southern Hospitality to rate them with 5 being the best, I responded 7.
    My guests remarked at the service they provided (bartender and server) and believe me having their services made my party. It is well worth the money to pay someone to help, so you can enjoy your own party. Definitely will use them again!

    My server, Melissa, was fabulous. I had a party that served tapas and paellla. She arrived a few minutes early and immediately started prepping tapas. She served them to our guest as each dish was prepared and after she made her rounds she began prepping another one. She cleaned dishes and kept the kitchen clean and made sure guest had drinks and made additional rounds with tapas. When we felt the guest were finished eating the tapas she put the food away. She was AMAZING, professional, and my guest raved about her. I would definitely hire her again.

    I had 2 servers in my home for my daughters Baby Shower. The girls introduced themselves, asked me about the expectations and what I would like them to do. They were excellent and went above to make sure all my guests were well taken care of. After dinner we moved our party indoors for gift opening and they completely cleaned my patio. I would recommend you and use you for any event I have in the future.

    Our servers were awesome. We just gave them ideas of what we wanted done, and they took it and ran with it.
    Ashley and Nicole were awesome.
    We asked them to stay and help a little later than they were supposed to and they had no problems doing that.

    Southern Hospitality provided the wait staff and bar staff for our pre-wedding and wedding dinners on October 2nd and October 3rd, 2015. They provided 5-star service across all categories. Melissa served our guests alone on Friday and was wonderful. The entire staff was very warm and friendly and provided exceptional service. They not only served the food and drinks but picked up our desserts and wedding cake from the bakery and also helped to ensure that the tiki torches and fire pits we had at our beach wedding stayed lit. I can't say enough about how efficient and wonderful they were. Christine was friendly and courteous throughout - from the initial planning period until the evening on Saturday. I would highly recommend Southern Hospitality for any party.

    I had a wedding this weekend with two servers and two bartenders. They were phenomenal !! We didn't end up needing the bartenders to pour the drinks, but instead they were very professional and helped our wherever needed.     Love love love them they saved my life at my in laws 50th anniversary celebration. Both my servers arrived on time and were dressed professionally .     I cannot recommend Southern Hospitality strongly enough! Christina and her team did a GREAT job setting up & serving the catering at my sister's back yard wedding for ~80 guests. The service was professional, prompt, and allowed me and my family to enjoy the party, rather than serve the guests. Christina is a true professional, and responded quickly to my many questions leading up to the event, arrived promptly on the big day, and even followed up afterwards to make sure we were pleased with her services. If you need party servers, Southern Hospitality is the only call you need to make!

    I booked Southern Hospitality as wait staff for my wedding. I used a restaurant for the food but needed a third party company to provide the servers during dinner. I found it very difficult to find a company in the Tampa Bay area that would provide servers but wasn't a traditional catering company. I was so delighted when I found Southern Hospitality! They were exactly what I was looking for!
    I worked with Christine for several months to get all of the details in order. She was always very courteous and professional. The night of the wedding was wonderful. The servers all looked great and were very attentive to my guests. Christine and the staff did everything from helping to setup the tables before guests arrived, to serving cocktails and appetizers, then serving dinner, ensuring drinks were always filled, cutting the cake, cleaning up, they really did it all! They handled everything with such a level of professionalism and efficiency, I didn't worry about a thing all night. I was so grateful for the outstanding service! Highly recommend this company!

    Southern Hospitality provided the hospitality help for my daughter's beach reception. Vickie was outstanding! From the moment she arrived she quickly and efficiently completed all the necessary tasks. She allowed us to sit back and enjoy the reception and not have to worry about the little details.

    The ease of communication from the very beginning gave me a sense of trust without yet having met anyone. Christine worked around my budget to provide enough staff to cover the hours requested. Southern Hospitality's punctuality in picking up the food, transporting it to the venue, setting up, serving, and cleaning up, made things run smoothly.     It is evident that Southern Hospitality Event Services has extensive experience providing service for cocktail hours and receptions. Staff are able to confidently recommend and accommodate a variety of drink and meal serving options. They even stayed over to finish dishes.

    We hired a bartender from Southern Hospitality for our wedding at the South Florida Museum and she was wonderful. I think our ceremony ended a little sooner than expected and the cocktail hour started earlier than thought and the bartender jumped right into action as soon as she arrived. Friendly and completely professional. I was relieved that we could find such excellent service at such a wonderful price. Thank you!

    I needed two bartenders for my wedding and these two bartenders were great! My wedding was a beer inspired wedding. I needed responsible bartenders. They always made sure I was happy and my hay and was happy. Try kept track of what they were pouring and who they were pouring for. They were not scared to cut people off. Thank god becausey officient was dancing with his short off by the end of the night.


    Christina the owner was also very easy to work with. Easy to contact and quick to respond. We used paypal to pay and it was great! Thank you guys!

    We hired Southern Hospitality to provide a bartender for our Halloween block party. The bartender arrived on time, professionally dressed, and did a wonderful job all the way through the end of the party. She cleaned up after herself, and her service was the hit of the party.     Christine and her staff was amazing! They helped with providing 2 bartenders and 3 servers during the reception and provided great service to my guests. Christine was always very responsive and handled all the coordinating with the caterer and wedding coordinating. She has a great "can do" attitude and will do anything to help make your event a success. I found her on craigslist and her prices are very reasonable and affordable.

    David was the bartender for my daughters wedding. He was awesome interacting with the guest. Everyone was ravening about his drinks. He was pleasant and very friendly.     Southern Hospitality was an absolute godsend! I needed flexibility and value for a rather casual wedding during which I didn't want to have to worry about serving, but I couldn't stand the idea of paying $2,000+ for a catering package. The staff were on-time, efficient, cleaned up when we were finished with dinner and drinks, and even picked up the food that we ordered for the occasion on their way to the house. I highly recommend Southern Hospitality and will use them again for my next event in the Bay area.

    I was so thankful to have Southern Hospitality servers for our wedding. They took care of things such as setting up/overseeing Coacktail Hour, drink refills, setting up/attending to the buffet, and cleanup. Their services made the entire reception run so much smoother than it would have (especially having cleanup taken care of and done professionally). Overall very pleased.

    However, I was quite disappointed that two of our servers approached me towards the end of the evening asking for a tip. The reason it upset me, is because when I made payment to Christine, I had her add an additional amount to my total amount due, to go to the servers for gratuity. The amount that I added made for just under a 20% tip each for all 3 servers. Prior to her charging my card, I made sure to ask that the servers would be aware that I had already tipped, so they are not feeling neglected the day-of since they would not be receiving a cash tip from me. Christine assured me that the servers would know and would not expect cash the day-of. Apparently, that didn't happen. When the ladies approached me the night of, I explained that I had tipped them with my overall payment, and let them know to speak with Christine if they had not been told this.
    Monday after the wedding, Christine called me. My husband answered the phone, and when he told me who it was, I had him tell her I'd call her back. I was pretty surprised a vendor was calling me the Monday after the wedding. Most couples (us included) are enjoying their honeymoon the week after the wedding, so I was a little annoyed to be disturbed at such a time. I forgot to call her back for quite a while, so I'm not sure if she had called me that day to resolve the situation, or let me know it was already taken care of. The servers did get their tip, they just weren't aware of it the night of. I just wished the situation had been handled differently.
    Aside from those minor things, we are very happy with the services we received.

    Southern Hospitality was great about getting back to me on phone and e-mail when needed and the bartender that they provided for our wedding was awesome! He was friendly and helpful, took care of our guests like they were his friends and he even stayed a bit late to help with some of the cleanup. Would definitely recommend this service to a friend!

    Just be clear on EVERYTHING you desire

    Well, I can speak first hand about this company, as myself and my wife worked for Christine, from Southern Hospitality Professional Bartenders & Servers, for the last 4 years. We are responsible for many of the reviews that you will read here, you will see Kevin & Maya on the reviews. Southern Hospitality workers are incentivized monetarily to get clients to leave 5 star reviews.

    Employees - 3 stars, For the most part, the servers and bartenders that are used do a good job, but there are many that are lazy and expect others to do most of the work. I have worked with many of them. I hope you get one of the good ones if you contract with Southern Hospitality. It's kind of the luck of the draw.

    Professionalism - 2.5 stars, As mentioned above you will get good workers and bad workers. The people that you get don't do this full time. They typically have other jobs, and this is a side gig. So you are not getting professional people that do this for a living, day in and day out. Communication from the owner with employees could be much better. When things go good, there is no issue, but if something gets missed, that's when it can go south. The "signature 5 star service", is the actual employees busting their humps to make it a great event. Again, this all depends on who you actually get to work your event.

    Organization - 2 stars, There were many cases that we took a job that the communication between the owner and the party were not communicated to us (the workers), and we had to be the ones to the rescue, and always did the best we could given the situation, but there were times that we couldn't be the savior. If there is something that wasn't done correctly for your event, I can most of the time (on events that I worked) say it was due to the lack of communicating what was requested by the client. This happened on multiple occasions.

    Overall - 2 Star, So if you decide to hire this company, please be EXTRA clear on what it is that you want done, send it in an email to the owner so that there is no confusion, and then you will have something to go back on and show that you requested it by email long before. There are many companies like this out there to choose from, and if you hire Southern Hospitality, you will get your party taken care of, however, some of the most important things may get overlooked, and sometimes you may not have the most helpful or happy staff.

    Safety - For the record, I have NEVER, nor my wife Maya, have had our temperature checked for an event as it states on the website for "safety." And we only wore masks if a client asked us to. It was never made mandatory.

    Addendum to original review: After speaking to the owner, Christine, we were able to come to an agreement. She did feel sympathy for the situation and did respond to my request to speak to her almost immediately, which was the following business day. While she did handle the situation very professionally, I am still overall upset that a day that took so much planning and consideration was hinder by factors that were ultimately in the server's control. My issue isn't so much with the owner, or the business as a whole, but more with the employees that were sent to assist on my wedding day.
    I went with SoHo because of all the good reviews, but it was a mistake. Long story short, the bartender and server arrived late, the bartender didn’t arrive with any tools, ALL of our liquor was opened, even the bottles that weren’t use to make drinks, and the server left the food out all night. I spent a total of 45 minutes going over what the expectations were for myself and the server/bartender, as well as a complete rundown of the schedule, what needed to be done, and where. When the time came, the only reason it worked as smooth as it did (and there will still bumps) was that my sister, who has 20 years in the food and beverage industry, was assisting. She was a guest and shouldn’t have been responsible for making sure the people my fiancé and I hired did their job. I am very displeased that we spent so much money and received sup par service. On top of everything, the bartender and service made no attempt to introduce themselves or find me or my fiancé before the party began. I would highly recommend stearing clear of this company.
