Absolutely incredible.

Southern Blooms was absolutely incredible. To start, they were SUCH a joy to work with -- so flexible, kind, creative, easy, and professional. Most importantly, their work product blew us away. The flowers were just absolutely stunning and more perfect than we could have imagined. Every single touch was magical –- not just the main bouquets, which were gorgeous, but also the greenery on the chandeliers, the centerpieces at the reception, the floor displays at the entrance to the aisle, florals on our posters, I could go on and on. The chuppah they made us was also out of this world fantastic. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also incredibly sturdy! My husband and I faced some severe rain right before and during our ceremony, but the chuppah stood totally firm and in fact provided amazing protection from the rain for us and our officiant during the ceremony. It was astounding and so special. All that to say, we really felt at every step of the way that we were in the best hands possible with Southern Blooms. You should seriously go book them right now!!!

Fall Florals of my DREAMS

Sherry was so lovely to work with! After a few back and forths on my vision for bright, fall florals she took it and just ran with it. The floral arch, bouquets and tablescapes were straight out of Pinterest. My mouth dropped at the first sight - I could not believe how perfect the florals were. They were worth every penny! All of our guests were beyond stunned at how incredible the floral arrangements turned out. Thank you Sherry and Southern Blooms team from the bottom of my heart for making all of my wedding flower dreams come true!!!

Creative florals!

Spectacular!!!! And let me start by saying, I didn't think I cared about florals, until I met Sherry and Pat... But they brought a vision (I didn't even know I had), to life!

Southern blooms did the flowers for my wedding in October 2019. They took some really loose visions and made some funky, unique, gorgeous bouquets and arrangements! I was in love with the flowers. I had never seen anything like them, but felt like they fit right in.

Pat and Sherry were so flexible and creative, they were a dream to work with. I was humbled by their thoughtfulness in how to reuse the florals throughout the night. They are honest women, who do amazing work. Further, I emailed them almost daily in the days leading up to the wedding, adding and changing last minute items... they rolled with all the punches!

I cannot recommend these gals enough!

Exceeded my already high expectations!!

Southern Blooms exceeded my already high expectations. I had hired them based on their excellent reputation and they certainly delivered! The flowers at our wedding were stunning - they really transformed the entire space. Guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. Pat and Sherry are wonderful people to work with and were great at listening to what we wanted and then making our vision a reality. Everything looked perfect and we couldn't have been happier.

The most beautiful flowers we could have ever imagined!

We were thrilled to work with Southern Blooms. They were a pleasure to work with from the beginning (happy to adjust our orders as small details changed leading up to the big day) and WOW were the flowers amazing. We received SO many compliments from our guests. I didn't realize floral arrangements could have such an impact on our wedding -- but they did. And we will treasure our photos of their arrangements as well as the pressings that I am so glad we ordered.

Southern Blooms provided our bouquets and boutonnieres, and they were absolutely perfect. They accommodated certain special requests, and were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. Southern Bloom by Pat's Floral Design is hands down THE BEST FLORAL DECISION YOU'LL MAKE. They're easy to work with, quick on communication, and put together the most beautiful floral arrangements I've ever seen. Working with Pat and her team was a dream -- they knew exactly what we wanted to see and really brought our ideas to life, far exceeding our expectations. I've received soooo many compliments on my florals, and in particular, the chuppah! They made my wedding an absolute dream.

This was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning and the big day. We absolutely LOVED everything about our experience with this company and Pat and Sherry. My mom and I got to have a meeting with them to discuss our floral preferences and it was one of the most fun conversations we had during wedding planning. We felt as if we all left as friends. They were an absolute JOY to work with. As far as their flowers? Pure artwork - every creation they did for us was absolutely beautiful. The flowers had me speechless on wedding day. You have nothing to fear when you hire Pat & Sherry to provide the florals/greenery for your wedding day. They took my vision and made it even better than I could have imagined. Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could have kept all of the flowers forever. Can't speak highly enough of them! There's nobody better in the area and they are worth every penny!

Unbelievable. I could not have asked for more beautiful flowers for our wedding. They were great to work with, offered excellent suggestions based on our interests, and executed it perfectly. They were able to provide us with some additional furniture rentals which was an added bonus to avoid an extra delivery fee had we needed to do it with another vendor. There is a reason these guys are featured in so many magazines! So beautiful!

If you want a genuine, kind, talented, dedicated group of individuals look no further. Pat's floral design is amazing! They took the time to meet with us, capture our personality and work small details into the wedding design to make everything just perfect! They literally tied figure eight knots into the bridal bouquet to help highlight our passion of rock climbing (they also added rope detail into the groom and groomsmen boutonnieres). They obviously really care about the work they do and it really shows in their flawless execution. They were a joy to work with and helped make our wedding absolutely perfect! Thank you!

Easily one of my favorite vendors that we had! Not only were the ladies at Southern Blooms the sweetest people ever, but they have such an incredible passion for what they do and understand your vision. This should say a lot-- I trusted them so much that I told them my colors and generally the flowers I liked and let them do the rest--I told them I wanted them to come up with all of the centerpieces with whatever they thought and they absolutely blew me away! Choosing florals for our wedding was one of the most important priorities alongside choosing a photographer and venue and I promise you Southern Blooms does NOT disappoint! I knew we were in good hands from our very first meeting and I really enjoyed visiting their gorgeous new show room where they have tons of rental pieces to choose from. Pat and her team are so sweet, laid back and easy to talk to, they are incredibly professional and you can tell they truly love what they do! Not only were they able to keep us within our budget by giving us lots of ideas such as re-using some of the ceremony flowers during the reception, but they also completely brought my vision to life better than I could have ever imagined! I had originally planned for a gorgeous floral arbor for our outdoor ceremony, but due to the rain we had to execute our Plan B and have our ceremony indoors. Southern Blooms was able to create two large STUNNING arrangements instead of the arbor at the last minute that looked as though we had always planned it that way! Our wedding was breathtaking with all the greenery and pretty florals and I highly recommend Southern Blooms to any future brides-to-be!!

Southern Blooms (Pat's Floral Design) did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers for my June wedding in Keswick, VA. The ladies were so easy to work with and SO SWEET. They immediately understood my color preferences and design aesthetic, and worked with me to select beautiful vases and table elements that really brought the design of our wedding together. On the wedding day, my jaw actually dropped when I saw the bouquets and table center pieces!

Southern Blooms (Pat's Floral Designs) was the perfect choice for my wedding at The Inn at Willow Grove in Orange, VA. They were experienced and knew my venue and what would look best. They also helped me decide how to reuse some flowers like the ceremony arrangements and bouquets to help decorate the reception. They have a beautiful new showroom space full of great rental pieces that helped me polish the look and feel of our wedding. I also rented two gorgeous farm tables from them to use as our head table. They were available to answer questions and were punctual about delivery and set-up. After having seen the work they had done on other area weddings, I knew I was in good hands and did not have to worry. They took the color palette that I chose and some notes about my favorite flowers and then worked their magic! I would recommend them to anyone!

Pat's is absolutely the best! After one meeting they were able to create incredible centerpieces, arrangements, an altar archway, and the most beautiful bouquets you've ever seen that all perfectly blended with my vision. The ladies at Pat's are some of the sweetest and most generous in the wedding business and they are SO talented! PLUS they have an amazing barn full of every decor item you could think of (we used candelabras, votives, etc.) that add that extra zing! Whether you are having a rustic, more organic wedding or a luxe fete I am certain that Pat's will give you the flowers of your dream!

Lindsay was simply a joy to work with! She took our vision and our budget and made it work. The flowers were just incredibly beautiful! She exceeded our expectations and everything was perfect!! Our guests raved about how elegant everything looked. I was concerned when looking for a florist that once they showed you their previous work and you pointed out what you liked, that you would get a "cookie cutter" design based on color palate. Rest assured, that is not what you get with Pat's. It was completely tailored to our vision and style. We could not be more pleased and would definitely recommend them!

We chose Pat's based on their fantastic reputation. Pat and Sherry absolutely exceeded expectations, and everything they delivered was top-notch. They've been doing this for a long time and had lots of great tips for what in-season flowers to use as well as how to re-use flowers during the course of the day to save money. They do amazing work and are simply the best florists in the Charlottesville area.

Pat and Sherry were professional, responsive and accommodating during the entire process. They accommodated a special ribbon request and were responsive to numerous changes up until wedding day.

We received numerous compliments both during and after the reception about the flowers. We would absolutely use them again and would enthusiastically recommend them to friends and family.

Pat, Sherry, and their team are incredible! We worked with them for our wedding and rehearsal dinner in May 2013. From the moment we first had a consultation with Pat, I knew we didn't need to look any further. Their work speaks for itself but to top that off, they are so friendly and nice. It was so comforting to know that all of our florals would show up the day of and be absolutely beautiful - this is incredibly important when picking a florist! They were constantly willing to come out to our venue (which was our home) for site visits to ensure everything would be set up correctly the day of - we really appreciated this. The flowers lasted and never got droopy which I have noticed at other wedding tends to happen with bouquets especially ones with hydrangea which ours had. As well, they have the most beautiful farm tables available to rent which really add to the decor. We are so thankful we found them and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

Pat and Sherry were the greatest to work with for my daughter's wedding. They took time to meet with us and find out what we liked and did not like. The bridal bouquet was perfect- beautiful with peonies, hydrangeas, and sahara roses. The bridesmaids bouquets were also beautiful- perfectly matching the dresses. The centerpieces for the seated dinner at Farmington could not have been more lovely. We planned half low centerpieces and half tall. They had gorgeous silver candelabra which we used and put flowers in the center of it. The room looked beautiful. We could not have been more pleased. I would highly recommend them!

Pat's Floral Designs did all of the flowers for our wedding. They were everything we could have asked for and more! We even ordered a garland for my daughter to wear as the flower girl and she looked absolutely perfect with this flawless addition. We were very delighted with the care that went into each piece - from the bride's bouquet to the bridesmaid's flowers and the family boutonnieres.

From the Groom... Pat was amazing. We had started working with another Florist, but had to leave because it wasn't working out. Pat took us on and made my bride feel amazing about the floral arrangements that weren't decided upon and to be done in 3 more months! We were on a budget and she went back and forth with the bride until she found something that worked. The bouquet was a work of art and everyone commented on how beautiful it was. They rented us some lanterns and other things for things for the center pieces that made the tables look amazing.

Pat's Floral Design was great to work with! I didn't have specific flowers I wanted other than some roses and wanted my colors incorporated. Pat and her team used their creativity and came up with all of my bouquets which were beautiful and an amazing floral decoration which they put on an arbor that my parents made that we got married in front of. It was very beautiful and we will have those pictures forever! I would definitely recommend Pat's Floral Design to other brides.

Pat and her team were amazing. I absolutely LOVED my flowers. They took the time to understand my color palette, what design elements I liked and gave me the most beautiful flowers for my wedding day. My budget was definitely smaller (unfortunately), but they helped me figure out how to reuse flowers from the ceremony at the reception to maximize every dollar. Better yet, the bouquets that put together for me looked like top-dollar creations. Pat and her team are friendly, professional and helpful. I can't recommend them enough!

I absolutely loved my flowers! I am not a creative person but I knew the colors I wanted in my wedding. I met with the florist and she helped me pick out colors for each bouquet. She took my thoughts and transformed them into beautiful flower bouquets. She also worked within my price range and substituted seasonal flowers to make it cheaper whenever she could. She also suggested that we place empty vases on the head table at the reception and place the bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets in them as flowers for the reception. She provided and set up empty vases at the reception site so they were ready for the bouquets when the bridal party arrived. She also provided flower petals and arranged them beautifully on each table at the reception. She also provided flower petals that our guests threw for our getaway after the reception. It looked gorgeous! I was so grateful for their expertise! I highly recommend them.

Pat's Floral Designs was the first wedding vendor my husband and I met with, and we were so happy we did! Immediately, Pat and Sherry made us feel at ease with their combination of creativity, professionalism, and warmth. They were a huge part of the overall design process, suggesting interesting pieces in addition to floral elements. Meetings with Pat and Sherry were fantastic--they made us even more excited about the big day.

My husband and I had a general idea of what kind of flowers we wanted, but for the most part we let Pat and Sherry work with what they thought was lovely and appropriate to our theme. As a result, everything looked gorgeous and matched perfectly with the other decor elements. It was great to know that we could let Pat's Floral Designs work their magic and everything would turn out beautifully.

Pat's Floral Designs is way more than just a florist. Pat and Sherry have an amazing attention to detail and an eye for beauty.

I could not have been happier with my bouquets and reception decor. I enjoyed meeting with Pat and her associates and working on the planning. They are very good at listening to what you have in mind and then turning that into reality. I felt that they were truly invested in making my wedding magical and that it was more than just business. Pat's was great to work with, they were creative and really helped nail down a coordinating flowers. I had a hard time choosing flowers, because they all look pretty to me, and they were able to make wonderful suggestions. I ended up with a bouquet of cream garden roses, green spider mums, mini hydrangea, and coleus leaves. They also provided a free toss bouquet, and one extra flowers in case any were damaged or our count was off. I couldn't have been happier.

Pat's provided the most beautiful floral designs for my daughter's Labor Day Vineyard Wedding. Both Sherry and Pat are wonderful to work with, they are such nice people who care deeply about providing the very finest wedding decor. I highly reommend them, you will love working with them.

Pat's did the most amazing flowers and decor for our wedding! They were gorgeous and I was completely blown away by how beautiful everything turned out...definitely exceeded all of my expectations! They were also incredibly flexible with me throughout the entire process even when I had to make changes (adding groomsmen, removing tables, etc). They were amazing and everything was perfection! I loved the flowers and thought Pat's did a phenomenal job. I especially liked how Sherry and Pat were able to take my ideas and turn it into a reality - it was exactly what I'd hoped for.

My husband (then fiance) and I met with Pat and Sherry shortly after I got engaged to discuss flowers and they were SO helpful. They had a huge book of photos that helped us decide what we'd like for the bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and the reception decor. They were both so easy and pleasant to deal with! The flowers for the wedding day were absolutely gorgeous and we received so many comliments on them. The bouquets were full and exactly how we had discussed. I've heard horror stories about brides who get something completely different than discussed and that was not the case here. I would recommend Pat's Florals to everyone.

Pat and Sherry were so fun and easy to work with. We were very happy with our flowers. The entire wedding was just so beautiful. It was really helpful that they did a mock up to show me what it was going to look like beforehand hand also. I didn't know very much about flowers and they were very helpful and patient :) They had a lot of pictures that I could browse and point out what I liked which I found helpful. Pat and Sherry are fantastic. I don't know a lot about flowers, but I brought my mother, who knows quite a bit. I had my thoughts on what I'd like the flowers to look like and my mother had hers, and Pat listened and found perfect bouquets and flower selections. They were patient and helpful.

The day of the wedding, I walked into the room where the flowers were, and they literally took my breath away. They were even more beautiful than I had imagined and from the bouquets down to the rose petals that lined the aisle, everything was exactly as we had hoped. Pat and Sherry were really great, and I highly recommend them.

Here are two ladies that actually listen to what you want. They helped me choose the flowers I wanted taking into consideration the season, my price range and my taste. I got a lot of compliments on the flower arrangements and center pieces. Everything looked amazing, I absolutely loved my flowers. Wonderful work. Pat's Foral Designs did exactly what I wanted them to do--which I've heard is actually pretty uncommon for wedding florists. They were great. They worked with my budget, and were very responsive to exactly what I wanted.

For example, I didn't know what exact kind of rose I had in mind, but I kept describing the color and they kept showing me pictures until we figured out which one it was (the hot lady roses.) Then, I wanted a ball-shaped bouquet with no filler flowers and they did just that, beautifully. I dried it just hanging it upside down while on my honeymoon and I still have it--it held up perfectly all day too.

Then, I found that all the roses my my and my bridesmaids' bouquets, plus everything else I requested, was over my budget, and Pat's was very accomodating as I decided exactly what I wanted to keep (the roses and bouquets) and made some other things cheaper. They helped me be mudget conscious by telling me I could pick up white candles and candle holders myself and they would arrange them for me.

Altogether, very helpful, very accomodating of my budget, and the finished product when I showed up that day was exactly what I wanted.

I used Pat's Floral Designs for my and my 5 bridesmaid's bouquets. They turned out absolutely phenomenal and were exactly what I wanted. I sent them a few different Pinterest pictures and described what I wanted and they created something unique and beautiful. They were a little more expensive than some of the other places I had looked but worth every penny. They also provided a few flowers for my cake.

Pat's Floral Designs really delivered on the wedding day - a few months later and I still have people telling me how lovely the flowers were. I think I will always remember when I was handed my bouquet - it was gorgeous, bright and whimsical - it was better than I had imagined. As a busy professional, I also appreciate that they were efficient in laying out the plan, making quick and smart creative or budget suggestions. They were also very kind and flexible as changes needed to be made.

Pat and Sherry did a wonderful job with all of our flowers. I had no idea what I wanted when I started, but they were very patient with me, and I could not have been more pleased with the final results. I felt that the price was a bit high, but I did not do much comparison shopping.

My daughter got married on 7/24/2010 and we were lucky enough to have Jennifer Carroll, our wedding planner recommend the extraordinarily talented, Pat's Floral Designs. The flower arrangements they created were amazing! It was the most magical evening and the beautiful flowers set the stage. The bouquets were gorgeous and fresh. Everywhere you looked there was a special flower arrangement tucked into Farmington. Their creativity was evident in the lovely table centerpieces, the check-in table, the cake table, the list goes on and on. They worked with my daughter, the bride to create the clean classic look she desired for the wedding. Pat and Sherry were easy to work with, came in on budget, they were open to suggestions, listened to concerns, caught the vision of the day and were able to take all the information and create perfection.

Pat and Sherry were simply wonderful. They were very responsive, professional and extremely talented. Our wedding flowers were simply stunning and they far exceeded my expectations. We loved working with Pat's! During our initial consultation, the staff really took the time to walk us through the whole picking-out-flowers process and were very open to our suggestions. Pat, Sharon, and others helped us translate our vision into a beautiful reality -- especially important since our families are avid gardeners (including a dad who teaches Master Gardeners classes!) who notice everything about floral arrangements and since both of us love candlelight. The consummate professional at Pat's understood. We absolutely knew we were in safe hands.

Our one (minor) disappointment was not floral in nature -- it was arboreal. :-) While we would have loved an outdoor reception, we're a little too risk averse. Didn't want to chance a garden party in early May, which is often very wet! So we asked Pat and company for a couple of leafy trees in the large banquet hall of a local winery. As the Big Day approached and we had our final chat with Pat's staff, we asked whether two would be enough to convey the "indoor garden" feel we were looking for. While we were willing to get a couple more, she assured us that two were plenty. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed that the trees were smallish and wilted-looking, even at the start of the cocktail hour. We definitely didn't get the feel we wanted... from the trees. The arrangements and lanterns, on the other hand, were STUNNING.

Pat's Florist had exactly what we were looking for. Excellent quality, service and professionalism. They were very helpful in adding ideas whenever you asked but did not force their opinions in any way. The quality of their arrangements and bouquets were unsurpassed. Pat's Floral Designs does amazing work with flowers. I was clueless when it came to flowers and she really helped put together a beautiful wedding based on my minimal input which was such a relief for me! They are extremely busy, probably because how good they are, but they will work with you to put together exactly what you want. They are also good about cost and will help make it work to your budget (as long as your budget isn't zero!). They have tons of books with pictures for you to go through with them which I also found extremely helpful. All the staff is super sweet.

Thank goodness for Pat and Sherry! Not only did they do beautiful work but they are also really nice people. My wedding was a destination, and they were kind enough to meet us at the linen rental place in town with a mock up of the table arrangements so we could play with different table linens, etc. They were also really patient and hung in there with me as I looked through hundreds of photos to figure out just what I wanted.

I also appreciated their candor in telling me that there were certain flowers that they just wouldn't do at the time of the wedding b/c the quality wouldn't have been good enough. (I'm so glad they were straight with me instead showing up with ragged, limp tulips because I SAID that's what I wanted.)

The only issue that it often took them a while to respond to my calls/emails. After a while, I realized that this is because they are super busy and in demand, but at first I sometimes felt like my messages were going into a bit of a black hole. However, they always got back to me eventually. They are quite reliable - you may just need to be a bit patient!

Wonderful! I highly recommend them!

Pat's isn't your typical local florist. They create stunning pieces of work. The flowers were so pretty. They are a little hard to get ahold of sometimes...small company, but very busy.

Pat's floral is amazing. Like many other reviewers we too started off on a bumpy road with Pat's Floral. At times they were a little un-responsive and took about 3/4 weeks to get a quote back to us, and then had the wrong quote, so it took another 2 weeks to get a new one. After a few emails and calls, Pat and team got our ideas right. In the end, we enjoyed working with Pat's Floral and recommend them to everyone. The floral arrangements they made for us were beautiful and people have been commenting on those since the wedding.

The flowers Pat's provided were beautiful and everything arrived to the correct location(s) on time. In our initial meeting, Pat & Sherry were extremely helpful in assisting us with suggestions and advice to help us make the decisions for the ceremony and reception flowers and had no problems when we made some minor changes closer to the wedding. Our only complaint was on several occasions when we tried to contact them we would get no response - also the office staff misplaced our final credit card payment - they might need to be a bit more organized in their office.

Pat's Floral Designs provided all the bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding. Since I did not need ceremony or reception decor, they were very flexible and allowed a family member to pick up the flowers the morning of the wedding. The bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnieres were exactly what we discussed and I had imagined. Just perfect. I did receive grandmother and stepmother corsages with the wrong flowers in them. They did not match anything in the wedding and looked out of place. It was a small detail that was missed. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work they did and I loved my bouquet!

They were great to work with all the way up until the day of the wedding when the flowers were not as we had discussed and not like the mock up that we did. Disappointed. Perhaps it was a fluke.

I was extremely excited to work with Pat’s Floral Design/Southern Blooms for our Charlottesville wedding. We met with them in person twice and thoroughly enjoyed Pat and Sherry. We felt that they were enthusiastic, helpful and knew exactly the look we were trying to achieve. The email communication over the months was challenging as responses were often slow and required a follow up email prior to getting an answer. Perhaps our wedding day was a fluke because it was planned to be outdoors and the forecast was calling for rain, but we were ultimately quite disappointed with our wedding flowers. Our floral budget was large and we did not get what we paid for. Our arbor, which was supposed to be large and lush, was skimpy and only had artificial flowers. The artificial flowers were a surprise as this was not something we had discussed (and in fact there were no real flowers on our arbor!). While the floral chandelier above the head table wow-ed many of our guests, it was still not as full as what we had discussed. The centerpieces were also disappointing and not what I had expected. The bouquets, however, were beautiful. I expressed my disappointment to the Southern Blooms team and I appreciated their response and apology. They insisted that they had worked hard and that the uncertainty about the weather affected the ultimate product. So while it may have been a fluke, I WAS disappointed and still have an ache in my heart for what our florals could have/should have been.

They did a beautiful job with my wedding flowers--But they weren't quite what I asked for (wrong colors!) in a few instances and communication leading up to my wedding ( 1 week out) was nonexistent. I had a few last minute things to verify and no one answered any of my emails. I have no idea who the lady was that showed up on my wedding day from SB, but it was not anyone I was dealing with. I was quite disappointed/frustrated as I was being asked questions that I shouldn't have had to deal with on my wedding day (things that I had already discussed with them). Like I said my flowers were beautiful, but communication was lacking and there were a few things that they completely dropped the ball and weren't as we discussed.
