The best DJ!
Pat was so awesome for our wedding! We cannot thank you enough for such an awesome day. You were so great to work with through the whole planning process and loved the energy you carried all throughout the day/night! Patrick Lally is the BEST OF THE BEST!
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Patrick Lally for our wedding. From the very beginning he was amazing to work with! Patrick is organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. He made the planning process so easy and helped everything run smoothly from start to finish.
The best part of the night was the dance floor. It was packed the entire time. Patrick did an incredible job reading the room and playing the right songs at the right moments, and people just didn’t want to leave the dance floor. Looking around and seeing all of our friends and family dancing together all night was one of our favorite memories from the wedding.
We’ve had so many guests tell us how much fun they had and how great the music was. Patrick played a huge role in making our reception unforgettable, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to keep the energy up and the dance floor full all night long. Genuinely cannot recommend him enough! -

Pat and Matt are both fantastic!
We used South Shore for our August 2023 wedding and had an excellent experience. Pat was the DJ for the event and he provided uplighting as well. Matt worked the photo booth. Great communication, great value - great hosts! -

The best!!!
I knew from the first time speaking to Pat he was going to be amazing, he is very response, helpful and knows how to make a great time! He kept the people on the dance floor all night and and knew just the right songs to play to keep the party going. Our guests raved about how much fun they had. Best DJ ever!
Don't think twice about booking Patrick Lally to DJ your wedding. From the moment we spoke to him to inquire about services, we knew he was the professional we wanted for our special day and could trust him in making it all happen. He has a great voice, an amazing personality and the experience to make the vibe you are looking for a dream come true. He was very organized in the planning process and asked all the right questions we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. He offered to help select songs and made recommendations to ensure our event ran smoothly. On the big day, he was completely independent in getting set up, came dressed to the nines, helped organize our wedding party before introductions, and checked in with us as needed to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He played all the songs we wanted, some favorites he knew would be big hits, and honored our do not play list. He kept everyone dancing all night! So many guests have told us how great a time it was and we had an absolute blast with him as well. Pat, thank you for everything... it was epic!!! -

ROCKED our wedding!
Patrick is the absolute best! His high energy and upbeat personality was exactly what we wanted in our DJ. He knew exactly how to work the crowd and provided the best party atmosphere for our guests. As soon as we interviewed him we knew right away we wanted him to be part of our wedding day. He listened to our wishes and gave professional feedback when we needed guidance. 10/10 the best DJ we could've asked for for our wedding. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! -

Very energetic, incredible feel for the crowd
Pat was incredible, he had several little touches we appreciated like holding off on the bride’s requested songs until she was in the room back from pictures. He was great with family and some even thought he was apart of the family because of his familiarity, attentiveness and feel. I would highly recommend him. -

Best dance party ever
Patrick Lally is the DJ you need for your wedding. He was the perfect MC for our entrances and keeping the wedding on track, but more than that he was so incredibly easy to work with. From our initial call right up to the wedding, Pat was responsive and clearly understood the right music to play. Our families had the best time dancing all night. The music was so good the guest started dancing during the salad course!
Every generation had so much fun. I saw my dad dance more than I ever had and that's a huge achievement!
The photobooth from South Shore entertainment was also a blast. The gifs and boomerangs are so funny! And having pictures less than 8 hours after the wedding ends of all the guests is amazing! 10/10 a true highlight of the wedding -

Amazing!
My hired Pat for our April 2022 wedding at Pinehills Pavillon! He was absolutely amazing to work with. He was so responsive through email when ever I had a question. He was so personable and kind. He truly listened to what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. He has our guest dancing on the dance floor the entire night with an arrangement of different era songs for all ages! I completely recommend him for you wedding! -

The absolute best!
Pat is hands down the best DJ around!! He played all the right songs all night and kept all of our guests on the dance floor! Our wedding was over 2 months ago and our guests are still talking about how great our wedding playlist was and how awesome the DJ was! Pat is amazing at what he does and knows how to keep the party going authentically instead of using those dreaded cheesy games to force people out of their seats. I can’t say enough good things, he truly made our wedding an amazing party! -

Wedding Couple
We hired Pat as our wedding DJ and he is hands down the reason everyone had an absolute blast at our reception. I kid you not that the dance floor was not empty for a single song. The awesome songs just kept coming all night long and our friends and family had a ball. Pat even danced along to the songs too! He was so amazing to work with and is a veteran DJ in the wedding scene. We cannot recommend Pat enough to other couples looking to have the most fun wedding ever! -

100% recommend Patrick!
We were lucky enough to snag Patrick months before our wedding after our original DJ cancelled and we are so happy it worked out as Patrick was 100% the DJ for us! From rolling with last-minute changes due to COVID to offering great suggestions for song timing and keeping the party going all evening, Patrick was the best. He's responsive, easy to work with, super helpful and so positive (seriously, the best energy!). Having Patrick meant I wasn't worried about music once all day--everything was timed perfectly for the ceremony and our guests were on the dance floor all night. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their big day. -

Highly Recommend!
We had a December 2020 wedding, right in the midst of the pandemic, and yet every time we talked to Patrick over the phone, we felt better and better and even more excited about our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, no matter how many changes or different state restrictions we faced, Patrick just went with it and was so accommodating and reassuring. Given COVID restrictions, we were not allowed to have a dance floor at our 5 hour reception, and yet Patrick kept the night going even past our 5 hour limit; and with no dancing that truly says something! He played to the crowd, make special announcements throughout the evening and even played different couples' "First Dance," songs from their wedding days. He truly made and saved our wedding day! We had an outpouring of compliments from our guests about what an amazing job Patrick did and how friendly and wonderful he was. We so highly recommend Patrick, he can play to any crowd and save any situation- even a 5 hour reception without dancing! -

the absolute BEST!
We did not use South Shore Entertainment for our DJ needs, as we had already hired a band for our reception. But we did hire SSE for both Photo Booth and uplighting. Up until the day of our wedding, my husband and I had been in communication with Pat who was a pleasure to work with!! On the day of our wedding Mike did the uplighting set-up and ran the photobooth. Our guests LOVED the Photo Booth. Tons of props, and lots of laughing!! He even put together a picture/guest book with photo strips, and room for our guests to sign/write us a message. Such a wonderful keepsake! After our wedding, Pat checked in with us, and even mailed us a USB of all of the photos that were taken--which was a great momento to have! I'd highly recommend SSE for your Photo Booth and uplighting needs!!-

Hands down, the Best!
We chose South Shore Entertainment because we heard nothing but amazing things. Prior to our wedding we met with Pat to go over the music, first dance, parent dances, our favorite songs, what we like & don't like, etc. We were BLOWN AWAY! He played all the right songs all night for all age groups. We literally danced the night away. I have received multiple calls & texts after the wedding asking who our DJ was. Patrick was absolutely fabulous!! He had the dance floor packed all night and helped us give our daughter the wedding of her dreams. Great job!
Patrick was pretty much the perfect wedding DJ. He handled our ceremony music/audio and made sure everyone could hear the ceremony, as well as music for the cocktail hour and reception. He played just about every song we requested (and it was very easy to do so on his website!) and also picked plenty of songs that kept our dance floor full – many of our guests told us they had a great time dancing at our wedding!
The photo booth was also a big hit — especially the gifs and boomerangs! -

Incredible DJ
We could not have asked for a better DJ than Patrick Lally! We knew from the moment we met him that it was going to be a wonderful experience and we were not disappointed. He is friendly, energetic, and helpful. From the moment the music started at our reception the dance floor was packed and it remained that way all night (despite the fact our wedding was on a 100 degree day).
Patrick offered great ideas for our reception from music options to uplighting. His online music planning tool made putting our playlist together simple and easy. He was quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the planning process and was in touch before the wedding to finalize all the details.
Our friends and family commented about how impressed they were by our DJ and the fun they had on the dance floor. They enjoyed the dancing Patrick was doing behind the DJ table too and his energy. It was awesome!
We honestly cannot give Patrick enough praise and couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding reception. He was incredible and it made for a very memorable night. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Patrick as DJ for your wedding! -

Patrick is an extremely talented DJ, a charismatic MC, a professional businessman, and a flexible vendor. He was the DJ at my wedding and three of my sisters and he truly made each wedding a total blast! Great music at the cocktail hour and dinner, and a variety of fun dancing music for afterwards. He customizes the music selection to your style and he's extremely easy to work with especially with his online website. He can read the crowd and he really knows what music works at different times. Our dance floor was packed all night long and we couldn't have been happier! You can really trust him to make your night awesome and he does it all with very little work for you and absolutely zero stress! I highly highly recommend working with South Shore Entertainment. -

Where do I BEGIN. Patrick, you were single-handedly the happiest, most outgoing, genuine, and WONDERFUL vendor that we encountered for our wedding. I don't think anyone left the dance floor for a SECOND the entire night. I was utterly exhausted from dancing my heart away all evening. Your enthusiasm and passion for your job radiates outward, and my husband and I could not have been ANY more pleased with your incredible job at our wedding. Our wedding was AMAZING and largely due to DJ Patrick Lally. Our dance floor was literally bumping the whole night. Guests have told us this was one of the best weddings they had been to! Patrick nailed it with the music!! -

There is no better choice than Pat and his team!!! My husband and I got married on 5-26-18 and it was the BEST time, and we have been nonstop hearing about it left and right! We chose the DJ/uplighting/photobooth package and it was a hit! We first "fell in love" with Pat at our weekly trips to trivia back in 2017 when we were first venue and vendor hunting. He was really what kept us coming back to the trivia nights; it is apparent that he loves what he does. Initially, we stumbled across him online not knowing this was also "the trivia guy" we see every Wednesday night! Once it "clicked", we had an "oh my goodness!!!" moment and KNEW he was the one for our wedding! Everything was so seamless and smooth and Pat is the easiest to talk to! He makes you feel totally comfortable and at ease which is SO important during planning while most things are usually feeling uncomfortable and overwhelming! My husband and I are so grateful for Pat and his team and had total confidence that the entertainment for the wedding was in good hands, and it really really was! Everything was truly just perfect...from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception to everything inbetween! Needless to say we will be continuing to attend trivia night!!!!! There are not enough words to share how incredible South Shore Entertainment was to work with for our wedding. From our first meeting with Pat, we knew he was going to help us throw one heck of a party! He had been recommended to us from family and friends and he didn't disappoint. Pat was wonderful during the process leading up to the wedding, which can be pretty stressful. He gave us great suggestions and feedback on things he'd seen work well, and also took into account our vision and taste in music - never swaying us one way or another. I can tell you that our dance floor was packed the whole night. In my opinion, a DJ/Entertainment can make or break the whole vibe of your wedding, so if you're looking for someone energetic, upbeat and great to work with - Pat is your guy! Pat Lally was absolutely amazing to work with. He met with us multiple times before the wedding and was so outgoing and friendly that we instantly felt comfortable. He helped us create a plan for the night so our wedding could be exactly what we wanted. He has an easy to use website where you are able to upload must play versus do not play songs. He absolutely brought the party. People continue to tell us about how much fun they had at our wedding and it was hands down because of Pat. We also used Pat for up lighting and a photo booth- both were absolutely amazing. We couldn't recommend anyone more than Pat Lally. -

We LOVED having Patrick as our DJ at our wedding!!! From the very beginning, planning with Patrick was super simple, and super laid-back (no stress!). He had us sold within the first few minutes of our meeting when we booked him. He is truly excited about being an MC and DJ at weddings! His price is extremely reasonable, and actually even cheaper than many other companies we looked at. My number one need from a DJ was to have everyone dancing the whole night of the wedding, and guess what.. EVERYONE (and I mean everyone! Even little old grandma got up there) was dancing THE WHOLE NIGHT (from the moment speeches were over and until the lights came on to end the night)! The music choices were spot on - super upbeat, plus a good range for all ages. -

Pat Lally made our wedding! The DJ sets the mood no matter where you are located and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! He was also the DJ for my two older sisters so there was absolutely no question who I was going to pick. - Especially since what I remember most was dancing all night long at both of their weddings! We also had the Photo Booth - it was a hit! My guests had so much fun taking photos and we got an album right at the end of the night which was hilarious to look through. You have to choose Patrick! He was by far the best Dj I have ever seen. He had our whole crowd up and dancing the whole time. He listened to everything that we wanted and made the event truly ours. We got so many comments from the guests that the music was the best selection they had ever heard. He managed to stay behind the scenes yet still play a crucial role. Patrick Lally is a true professional! His passion for what he does shines through at each point of the wedding planning process. Our guests danced all night and he started out so strong there was a huge conga line within the first hour of dancing!
He has an online planning form with a huge library of songs that made planning so easy. He was able to accommodate all of our requests (even the weird ones!) and even cued up a song our Maid of Honor wanted to play at the end of her speech to the perfect point in that song, even though she only talked to him about it at cocktail hour!
The rumors are true – he must be the best wedding DJ on the South Shore. Throughout the night he was there to guide us through each detail, from the first dance to the bouquet toss. He was very familiar with our venue so even provided tips (don’t throw the bouquet into the chandelier!). Patrick made us feel like we had the most fun wedding and most fun guests ever and he kept everyone dancing all night. I highly, highly recommend him.

Patrick Lally DJ'ed our ceremony and reception on 5/20/17. Hands down the best day/night! Throughout the planning process he was easy to get ahold of and quick with responses. Let me just start off with saying our dance floor was on FIRE! DJ Pat Lally absolutely crushed it. From our first phone conversation with Pat we felt like family, He's a passionate guy and loves what he does for a living and it truly shows in his work.
Pat's contact pre wedding was on point. His delivery the night of was amazing. Music is such a huge part of the wedding and my wife and I couldn't have been happier.
We picked a few songs but did not go crazy with a pre set playlist, we trusted Pat to do his thing and we are glad we did because he pulled out songs that we would not have put on that paper and our guest went crazy.
My advice to anyone looking for a wedding DJ is choose this guy! Hands down the best in the business. -

Patrick Lally was professional, kind and personable throughout the entire process. He was great from the moment we made contact with him and throughout our engagement and most importantly on our wedding night. Not only is he an awesome DJ and great at what he does he is also a great person. Patrick was always smiling and visibly had a fun time DJ'ing our wedding. It really helped add to the fun and excitement to us and all of our guests to see that our DJ is enjoying what he does and is having just as much fun as eveyone else. There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how amazing Pat Lally is. We discovered Pat by going to weekly trivia at the British Beer Company in Walpole and even before we were engaged, I knew I would be hiring Pat to DJ my future wedding! I could just tell by his personality and music choices that he knew what he was doing. Throughout the planning process he was so easy to work with. Flash forward to our wedding day and he exceeded all of our expectations! He accommodated every request that we and our guests had, and had everyone up and dancing the entire night! Even better, he looked like he was having just as much fun as the guests were. We also had the photobooth service, which was a huge hit. At the end of the night we got to take home an album signed by guests with all of their pictures! I think more guests signed that album than our actual guest book. Patrick Lally was amazing! He made our wedding day the BEST day of our lives. From the first meeting we knew we liked him. He didn't pressure us we just talked over expectations and pricing for dj services, uplighting, and a photo booth. He told us to take some time to think about it because he knew it was important part of our wedding day.
We chose to hire Patrick for all 3 services. The online tool made it easy for us to input all the songs we wanted. He also helped us chose some songs when we were unsure.
The uplighting was beautiful and set the mood for dinner with a soft color and a brighter color for dancing! The music he chose had people on the dance floor all night. It was the greatest time!! The photo booth was so much fun. The guests loved it. The photo book they created is comical and we look at it often to remember what a fabulous night it was.
My husband and I have no doubt that he was the best choice for our wedding and for yours!! He's honest, flexible, and knows how to read and crowd and kept our guests entertained all night. We highly recommend him for your wedding or any party!! Thank you for the best day of our lives! -

Hiring Patrick, with South Shore Entertainment, was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Although there are a million little details that go into planning such an event, the one that leaves a lasting impression with the guests is the music/entertainment. Patrick did just that! He was able to provide the perfect atmosphere throughout the entire wedding. It was important to me that all our guests, at all ages, were able to be up on their feet, dancing the night away. Patrick was far and away the best DJ i have ever worked with, and an integral part of making the wedding such a magical success. He listened to our thoughts regarding how we wanted the wedding to go and he was right on the entire evening - fun, sincere and sensitive to the room without inserting himself in the festivities unnecessarily. He was there and not there at the same time, with the right mix of music, the right mix of tempo, the right mix of everything. Just a superior job, and a very nice guy, which makes it that much better. -

Patrick was phenomenal through every step of the planning process. When we met with DJs, he was by far the most polished and professional. He gave us an info packet and DVD demo of his DJ services and we were immediately sold. His enthusiasm and positive attitude made the planning process fun, as well as made him a fantastic host for the evening of our wedding. He gave us great advice but was also very open to our requests. All our guests had great things to say about his dj-ing! We loved Patrick and would highly recommend him to anyone! -

We were lucky enough to be given Patrick (South Shore Entertainment) as a referral from our wedding vendor. From the very start, he was amazing. His response back to us was within a day. He offered to have us meet him at a local bar during the week. It was loud and very busy that night, but you would have never known by how approachable and attentive he was to us. My, now, husband and I have a more unique taste in music, and Patrick was 100% receptive to that and made every effort to have all the music we requested. The day of the wedding, he played every song we asked, and played them at just the right times and fed off the crowd (a very big dancing crowd) and the energy never died out. He was amazing at speaking to our group of family and friends and to this day, almost a year later, everyone I know still says our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they have been to...and we owe that entirely to Patrick. 10000000% recommend him. -

We used Patrick to DJ our wedding at Pinehills in July. Patrick was very easy to work with and was always available when I had questions or concerns. Everything was very organized and all our predetermined plans and songs went off without a hitch.My main request was to keep guests dancing and having fun and Patrick definitely delivered. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and many guests commented how great the music was. We were lucky to have come across Patrick and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ! -

If you live in the Boston Area, Pat is your DJ. I didn't even know a DJ could be as good as Pat Lally. He kept guests on their feet my entire wedding and was extremely professional. Pat Lally was a huge part of what made our day so great! -

Simply the best! We got SO many compliments on the music at our wedding, it was unbelievable. And everyone from all generations/ages were grooving away and loved it, which was our goal. We had given Pat a few songs we definitely wanted played, and then a few that we didn't want. He respected all of that. And then, we let him do his thing the rest of the night, and everything was perfect! Couldn't have been happier. He was professional, fun, and made sure everyone was having a wonderful time! -

Wonderful! Patrick Lally was such a pleasure to work with. He truly took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple and how we would like the night to go. We found Patrick to be a delight to work with in every way. Leading up to the day he helped to make everything as easy as possible, including his easy to use website. Beforehand you can choose songs that you don't want played, ones that must be played, and ones to play if possible. I found a song that was not listed on his catalog and when I asked him about it, he was able to make sure the song was avilable for the big day.
Obviously a DJ is a major part of the wedding. Going with South ShoreEntertainment was one of the easiest and best decisons we made from begining to end! -

We used Pat Lally for our wedding in 2005. When we first met with him he completely put me at ease and answered every question I asked. He gave great music suggestions, dressed professionally and was an incredible DJ. Before the salads were served he had a full dance floor. We loved our wedding! My husband and I had a great time and so did our guest. To this day my parents friends still come up to me and say it was the best wedding they have been too (I have to agree). Pat started off as our DJ and we are fortunate enough to have him as our friend. We love Pat and he is an incredible DJ! We always recommend Pat to our friends. -

Pat is hands down one of the best DJs around...especially when it comes to weddings. Planning our big day, there was a lot of concerns, as there are with any couple's big day. When we first met with Pat for our initial consultation, all the concern about our DJ and music selection was put to bed. He made us feel like we had been friends for years and was a pleasure to work with. When our wedding day came, Pat was on point with everything that was requested from him. From our introductions to our last dance as bride and groom, Pat was meticulous in including the things that were important to us and also used his experience and versatility to literally get every person on the dance floor. No cheese here...just a great knowledge of music and what people like. He took the recommendations that we gave him and rolled with it. Everyone had a great time from the 16 year olds to the 86 year olds. Top notch service, great sound system, professional and entertaining personality... -

We were so lucky to find DJ Patrick Lally of South Shore Entertainment for our wedding in Plymouth, MA in September. My husband and I really wanted a dance party kind of wedding, and wanted to be picky and choose almost all of the music that was played. This didn't bother Patrick at all and he was so great about communicating with me about what we were looking for from him for our wedding day. I asked a lot of questions prior to hiring him and was so impressed with his responsiveness and positive attitude. We gave him lists of songs for cocktail hour, dinner time and dance time - but let him read the crowd and determine when to play what songs and in what order. He did this perfectly! We also didn't want a "cheesy" DJ who tried to play games with the crowd or talk too much, and he was perfect in this way. So professional and fun, without being too involved. He had a great energy about him and really seems like a cool guy overall. DJ Patrick Lally really made our wedding - people can't stop talking about the music and he even played the "one last song!" we were begging for. Great DJ! -

Wow! What a party. We looked into hiring Patrick after being recommended by two separate sources. We met Patrick one night at a trivia he hosted and instantly connected. His lively personality and genuine interest in making our special night one to remember drew us in. Patrick has been nothing but the epitome of professional. His phone and email communications have been easy and fluid. His website and checklists are organized and east to navigate. He was extremely knowledgeable of our venue and was in constant communication with the venue host and photographer, making sure every moment was captured. At our wedding, his choice of music was tremendous. All we provided him with was a list of "not-to-plays" and he did the rest. He was extremely flexible in accommodating any additional request from our guests. We had an amazing experience. I have been approached by many of our guest complementing the party that Patrick entertained us with. I HIGHLY recommend Patrick. -

From day 1, he told me it was about me and he was in the background - and he delivered just that. The music from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the reception was just what I wanted! Patrick was everything we had hoped for and more for our wedding! He made our night perfect. Everything was exactly as we had discussed in our conversations before the wedding and he was so professional and fun! He had the crowd dancing all night and knew how to mix it up so every age group was having fun. We got so many compliments on our DJ and two of our friends who are engaged have already inquired about his availability on their date! I cannot express enough how awesome Patrick was in making our wedding day so special and perfect. From the planning form (which is online and helps you plan certain songs for certain dances) to his availability whenever you want to talk to him or ask him a question. People were having so much fun, that they chanted "one more song" at the end and even though it was past our time, Patrick played an additional song. It was just perfect.
