I have been a wedding planner in the area for many years and have been to countless venues. South Eden Plantation is one of my all time favorites!! It's rare to find a venue this beautiful and unique with so many gorgeous possibilities for ceremony and reception. And the staff is outstanding!! Their attention to detail is truly remarkable. They go well above and beyond to make sure weddings are perfect. You really must see this lovely, southern property for yourself. It's ideal for local weddings or destination weddings with all of the perfectly appointed cottages and suites. You will be so happy you chose South Eden Plantation!

My wife and I have photographed many weddings and South Eden Plantation is one of our favorite venues. As photographers, there are limitless opportunities to photograph here. But above all, Ms. Kim and her staff make this historical plantation truly magical! We absolutely love South Eden Plantation!

As a wedding photographer, I admit that I can be pretty picky when it comes to venues. For me to love a venue it must be unique, have great light, gorgeous places for pictures, and a beautiful reception area. I was very excited for my first wedding at South Eden Plantation and it definitely didn't disappoint!
The bridal suite is the prettiest that I've seen! It is spacious with high ceilings and great natural light. It's decorated so beautifully with antique mirrors and sofas. I could have done a whole shoot just in there and although time didn't allow, hopefully one day I will.
There are TONS of options for ceremony sites at South Eden and they are all gorgeous. The property is sprawling and lush with photo opportunities everywhere. My personal favorite was the historical 1825 pool house. There was such beautiful natural light inside and a gorgeous ivy wall and garden outside it for other photo ops. I love how the owners have maintained the historic qualities and the pool house has such charm and character.
Inside of the main house is perfect as well. I loved the reception space that my bride chose in the main dining room with big windows, chandeliers and hard wood floors. I know there are many other options for receptions that I am excited to experience in the future.
I really can't rave enough about this place. With so many cookie cutter venues, it was so inspiring to work at a venue like South Eden. It is the perfect venue for an elegant wedding and there is no place quite like it!

South Eden is breathtaking! Kim is fantastic and took care of everything. The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was terrific! Catering food was delicious; guest continue to call and rave regarding the food!! The plantation staff set up the ceremony and reception site, taking care of everything for you! Absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend!!

We held our ceremony and reception at south eden. They also took care of our catering and wedding cake. The venue was breathtaking, the food was unbelievable, and the care, attention to detail, and professionalism of the staff alone are worth booking your event with them.

South Eden Plantation offers EVERYTHING you could want and more with a wedding and handles the whole process with ease. I was in the middle of graduating and moving and planning a wedding with them was super easy and stress free. My wedding day was magical and the site offers so many wonderful places to take pictures. We ended up staying there our wedding night and also had a wonderful experience with the staff who catered to us (which we were grateful because we were exhausted!!) and made sure we had food and water. The beds were so comfortable we ended up buying the same mattress for our new apartment. We will be visiting for our one year anniversary and we love that Eden is a location we can continue to go to and relive our fantastic wedding night!

South Eden is an astonishing venue. The owner truly loves her property and the staff will move mountains to ensure your day is perfect.

We selected South Eden as our venue for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding in February. Since this was a second wedding for both of us, we wanted this to be a warm, family reunion atmosphere for both our families to meet. We were so pleased with the service and the food was excellent! What a wonderful, warm time for our families to gather and reconnect!
