Ruben did a phenomenal job at our wedding! He was able to mix many different genres of music to flow together and keep the party going - whenever he noticed music was not a crowd favorite, he seamlessly transitioned into the next song. He also did great job following following our timeline but also making adjustments when needed (inclement weather changed the flow of our wedding a bit, but Ruben was able to adjust on the spot and nothing felt out of place!). We recommend Soundwave as they have a great process for selecting music and even have great suggestions if you're unsure what to play during your big day! -

Les with Soundwave Entertainment was wonderful! He played all our must plays songs and picked the best songs to fill the rest of the night. We got so many rave reviews from our wedding guests on the music choices including the instrumental disney songs during dinner! Our guests all had such an amazing time and we will remember our wedding forever. Thank you Les! -

We had the absolute best experience with Soundwave Entertainment for our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress!
From the very beginning, Wendy (the owner and office manager) was beyond fantastic. I felt so cared for throughout the entire process—she was always quick to hop on a call, answer questions, and offer amazing vendor recommendations. The planning system they have in place is honestly a dream. Their client portal and automated reminders kept us on track with everything—deadlines, upgrades, FAQs—you name it. And the detailed surveys they had us fill out made it so easy to communicate exactly what we wanted. They even offered common options for various wedding traditions, which helped us narrow things down and feel... -

Soundwave ensured that our wedding day was as tailored to what we wanted as possible. They create a portal in which they cover every little detail. Your selected DJ will call you a few days before your event just to confirm details and go through your timeline. They are so communicative and willing to do whatever to make your event perfect. I would recommend Soundwave over and over again. Unfortunately, special effects weren't in our budget, otherwise we definitely would have asked for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my wedding day. -

We hired Soundwave for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. We were set up with DJ David and he was absolutely amazing! We used the Winter Park Farmers' Market as our venue and they made the space look beautiful. The uplighting was a great touch. DJ David was fun, outgoing, and very flexible with what our vibe was. We had guests dancing all night and he was great about playing requests. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, much of it because of Soundwave! Even Wendy stopped by during our event, which felt very special and made us really realize that they love doing what they do. It definitely showed at our wedding! Highly recommend! -

Our experience with sound wave was absolutely FLAWLESS. From beginning to end, they take great care of you and you can tell they care about you. They help make sure your vision comes to life in the most perfect way. Every detail is thought of. If we had to do our wedding day again, we would choose Soundwave again and again.
Our DJ, Ray was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did such a great job mixing our 2 cultures in our music and making sure everyone was on the dance floor at all times. Ray was the absolute best and we are so thankful he was a part of our special day, he made it fun and truly unforgettable.

Soundwave was extremely professional and offered a wealth of services. We kept it simple with just the DJ services but it was exeptional. DJ Ruben was assigned to us based on our musical perferences. He absolutely crushed the wedding music. Hit every song from ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He mirrored our music taste, playing the songs we request while mixing in his selection that match our vibe immaculately. Highly recommend Soundwave and DJ Ruben! -

We had a wonderful experience with Soundwave!! We had DJ Ruben for our Paradise Cove wedding and he was phenomenal. He was an excellent MC, DJ, and everything in between. He ensured our day ran smoothly from the ceremony through the send-off!
Before the wedding, Soundwave’s online portal was extremely helpful. They had us fill out a form that walked us through every detail of the day (like each song we wanted at which point, how we wanted people introduced to the reception, etc.). This was such a helpful way to get us to think about the flow of our day as a whole and what we wanted each part to look like.

Our guest are still talking about how wonderful Dj Ray was at our wedding! Wendy and team made the entire planning process seamless, efficient, and fun. DJ Ray ushered us through the evening- even making sure we even got to eat in peace (a wedding must have). The music was so good I was winded from dancing so much (opening the dance floor with one direction into Taylor swift was quite the party starter). DJ Lady Shay and Les really our did themselves. everything from the lighting, to the pin spot, to our wedding monogram and the photo booth, to DJ Lady Shay keeping the guests on the floor all night and I do mean all night. Soundwave and Wendy made the planning process a breeze. Highly recommend them for all their services you will not be disappointed.

Hands down, we made the BEST decision to entrust Soundwave to handle our DJ and lighting needs for our wedding reception. From the first call that I had with Wendy, to the end of our reception, I have nothing but adoration for Soundwave. Wendy made the process quite simple. She gave suggestions based on the type of lighting I was looking for. She provided me with a music profile to complete and this allowed her to match me with the PERFECT DJ, DJ Dennis!!!!!!!!!!!!! The uplighting and pin lights truly created the warm vibe I wanted for the reception. DJ Dennis did his thing!!!!! Like, I am trying to figure out how to create another event in the Orlando... -

Can't say enough great things about Soundwave! If you are reading this and contemplating which company to use - STOP and look no further! We had DJ Ray and he was absolutely awesome! Our guests constantly said how great the music was and they were very accommodating from the beginning. They have their own portal with detailed forms that kept things organized and were available to chat and talk things out as much as needed. Would 100% hire again!
