From the very first meeting, we knew Chris was the perfect emcee for our wedding. He brought exactly the vibe we were hoping for — fun, inviting, and completely aligned with the relaxed, joyful atmosphere we wanted for our guests.

Our pre-wedding meeting set the tone. Chris walked us through our entire timeline, asked thoughtful questions we never would have considered, and immediately put us at ease. His experience showed in every detail. We felt confident knowing that if anything unexpected came up, he could turn a potential hiccup into a smooth, seamless moment.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to Erin, who was incredible to work with throughout the planning process. From start to finish, everything felt smooth and easy thanks to her. She was always responsive, checked in regularly, followed up thoughtfully, and made herself available anytime we had questions. Her support made the entire process feel organized, calm, and stress-free.

On the wedding day, Chris was incredible. He stayed in constant communication with the DJ and our wedding coordinator, made sure the music we wanted played at the right moments, and kept the flow of the event effortless. His energy was loved by everyone — he kept things moving while still letting the night unfold naturally.

We never once had to worry. Chris was always within eyesight, ready to jump in if we needed anything, yet never intrusive. By the end of the night, it felt like he was part of our family and friend community.

We truly couldn’t have imagined our day without him and the team from Sounds Unlimited!

DJ made our wedding dream come true

I had 3 separate areas for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. They were knowledgeable about the venue and worked with me to make sure we were covered for music and mics for all locations. The MC had great stage presence and brought the idea of using the couple trivia to dismiss tables for dinner to life. For dancing the dj did an amazing job getting the guests dancing and having fun. They provided so much for a competitive price. I had 0 worries after brining them on as a vendor.

We are so happy that we decided to use Sounds Unlimited for our wedding DJ. The planning process with Erin was so seamless, and working the our MC Taylor helped the night flow so much better than we anticipated. They catered to the requests we did have and Taylor helped fill in the holes with the best ideas for some things we weren't so sure about. One of our favorite photos from the day was actually the result of one of Taylors ideas! Luke and Taylor were joined us for some fun at times but handled things behind the scenes when needed. Without having Taylor as an MC, I am certain our wedding would not have been as seamless as it was and we are so grateful for that. Our DJ Luke was such a vibe!! He was so fun, played the perfect music choices, and kept people on the dance floor quite literally until the last minute. Since the wedding, we have gotten so many comments about the "cool DJ in the white glasses" and how great he was. Erin was so kind, professional, and helpful with planning and we are so grateful we chose Sounds Unlimited for our wedding. Would 10/10 recommend, especially with Erin, MC Taylor B, and DJ Luke as your team. Thank you guys SO much!!!

Erin, Admin Assistant, was our main contact- she was helpful and responsive throughout. Their option to "buy" music from Amazon to fulfill our requests was very helpful. Our DJ was great as our emcee, as well. We added on a light package to add to the atmosphere of our venue.

Great Experience from Start to Finish!

We used Sounds Unlimited for our wedding last weekend. Marquis was our MC and Brady was our DJ. Marquis did an excellent job of hyping up our guests, making announcements, and just keeping the flow smooth. Brady kept the energy up with a great mix of our requested songs, guest requests, and other songs that for our vibe. They both were actively reading our crowd and adjusted as needed. The communication with us was great throughout the night to make sure the night went the way we envisioned. Can't thank them enough for making our big day unforgettable!

Lifesaver!

We hired sound unlimited after our original dj cancelled on us 4 days before our wedding, and it was truly a blessing in disguise. Their customer service was so kind to me and found me a DJ instantly, even gave us discounts from their normal fees. Our DJ, Kevin was incredible. He took the notes we had provided to our original DJ and took the time to get way more information about what we wanted, and executed it perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about them, 10/10.

Micah did a great job at our wedding!

Erin, the administrator was very helpful in making sure we got the right package for our wedding and helped answer any questions we had. Micah was our DJ for our wedding night and did an amazing job. I was so worried about the timing of music for our ceremony and he executed it perfectly! He knew exactly when to change the music. During our after party, he really set the mood and got everyone who was there dancing, even our older crowd. Micah definitely played a huge part in making our wedding so wonderful. I'd highly recommend using Sounds Unlimited and Micah for your events and weddings.

Best MC and DJ!

Our experience with Sounds Unlimited was wonderful start to finish. From the first consultation email and phone calls with Frank, we felt completely taken care of. They helped us pick the perfect package for our needs and venue layout.

On the day of, our MC, Jesson was the PERFECT addition to our wedding. He kept the energy high from the moment he stepped into the property until he left late that evening. He kept all of our guests engaged and the day running smoothly. He also took care of us on a personal level, making sure we had time to eat and stayed hydrated!

Our DJ, Micah, was also fantastic. We were a little stressed about picking the right music for our group and he took the reins and did a great job. Our dance floor was packed all night and so many guests have already reached out to us to tell us our wedding was one of the most fun they have ever been to.

We would not hesitate a moment to hire them for another event in the future!

Amazing Experience

I can't express enough how grateful My husband and I were to have Kevin & Randy as our DJ. The process was smooth and NOT stressful, which was a huge plus! During the wedding, Multiple people came up to my parents and said how Classy the music list was during dinner time. I told Kevin and Randy that "Classy" was the vibe we were going for, and they delivered!!
They also nailed the timing of our ceremony music, especially when I was walking down the aisle and where I wanted to be during a specific part of the ceremony song. They played a HUGE role in the overall flow of the wedding, and I couldn't have been happier!
If we ever need a DJ service or know anyone looking for one, I would 100% recommend them both!!

Sounds Unlimited was everything we needed and more.

We had the most amazing experience with Sounds Unlimited. A couple weeks before the wedding they made sure to call and have a very in depth conversation with me about all the details for the wedding. It made me feel like I was in really good and caring hands.
On the wedding day, they went above and beyond in helping make sure the ceremony went well. They did great on the music for the ceremony and they also ensured that everyone walked down the isle at the right times and even made sure my dress looked perfect as I walked down.
Then for the reception we had Jameela and she was amazing. She checked in with us before the reception to make sure we were all on the same page and throughout the reception as well. She was a fly on the wall but also very present when needed.
We absolutely loved the whole Sounds Unlimited team.
Oh and last thing, I would absolutely recommend adding the photo booth that they offer through a third party. We and all our guests had the best time with the Photo Booth.

Dream wedding!

Frank and Jonathan were instrumental in making our wedding night run smoothly. Frank wasn’t just the MC but he was also a photographer for us. We didn’t have a photographer and had other people take lots of pictures. Frank was one of the people who took the most pictures, having us do special poses and all. (The pictures turned out amazing!) Jonathan was our DJ and he kept the music going steadily and played all our requests. Any issues with the playlist were brought to our attention way beforehand. Sounds Unlimited is fantastically wonderful and professional. They also are very personable and Frank fit right in like he was apart of the family. Frank the owner coming to our event made everything so much more magical for us! We recommend them for any event you may be planning as they did an OUTSTANDING job. Best MC/DJ Sounds Unlimited

We had the greatest time working with Sounds Unlimited for our June 24th wedding day! Frank was our MC and Mat was or DJ and they were such a great team! Frank made sure our entire wedding ran flawlessly. He was so organized and communicated with us before and throughout the entire day to us, our families, guests and event staff. Our guests raved about them and they truly made our wedding a ton of fun! Our day ran smooth thanks to them and will be a day we always remember. Great DJ experience!

We worked with Sounds Unlimited to help DJ our wedding in July 2022. From the beginning, the staff was prompt with responses and was very organized with understanding the structure of our wedding and the details that were important to us. But what really got me convinced was the fact that their package included both an ‘emcee’ and a ‘DJ’ to make the event run smoothly. They had an online music planner that we used to specify what songs to play when and the general flow of the day. Jesson was the emcee for our day and did a great job interacting with the guests, keeping everybody entertained and even throwing down on the dance floor!
We also got the ‘Roving Photo Booth’ package which included an attendant who actively engaged with our guests throughout the event to take fun wedding pictures and make sure everyone had a great time.

Amazing experience, would recommend

The short review of this is we booked them for our wedding the day after seeing them at my sister's and our engaged friends booked them the day after seeing them at ours. We (ad our friends) paid extra to have Frank as our MC (we also hired the DJ through them). They are just incredible, so easy to work with, roll with changes day of, help keep the day on track and moving and are just so professional and charasmatic. It was 95 degrees on our wedding day and Frank was in a full black suit and still was just so happy and helping anyway he could day of. Can not recommend enough!!!

Sounds Unlimited was a great addition to our wedding day, catering to our tastes in music, our personalities, and the overall mood of the event as the night progressed. We are a pair of nerds with a bunch of nerdy friends and Matt, our DJ, was able to get everyone on the dance floor in spite of our expectations! True pros...

Being a photographer the relationship during a wedding with the DJ is so important. Sean and Marshall were amazing. They read the room and got everyone out there dancing, which makes for great photo opps. They also adjusted the timing where needed to help photography flow. Great team!

Look no further. Sounds unlimited is an easy choice.

This was my second wedding. I used Sounds Unlimited for my first wedding and was very happy with my decision. So when planning my second wedding, it was a no brainer to call them again.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough and then Covid hit and changed our plans. We had to move the wedding from 2020 to 2021. When we told Erin, the administrative supervisor, that we had to postpone the wedding, she was great and very accommodating to any changes we had to make. Erin was also quick at responding to any questions we may have had, sometimes late at night.

Jordan was our DJ/Emcee. We had a phone conversation before the wedding to go over all the details of our wedding. He was easy to work with and did not disappoint. People were out on the dance floor from beginning to end.

If you are looking for a DJ, give Sounds Unlimited a call. You will not be disappointed.

highly recommend!

Sounds unlimited was amazing to work with for my September 2021 wedding. Erin who was our point of contact was very nice and easy to communicate with, very organize. Mat was our DJ/MC and was perfect during our ceremony and reception, he listened to what we wanted for our day and made it happen. I love that he read the dance floor and played what suited the night, I also like that he took song requests from my guests and played it without hesitation. They also have a photo booth you can book through them- my guests LOVED it!

Excellent emcee and DJ who got the crowd dancing!

A huge thank you, and very positive recommendation for Jordan and the entire team at Sounds Unlimited! Jordan brough exactly the right vibe and tone to our wedding as the emcee and DJ, and had our small group on the dance floor until the very last song (including an impressive run of mid-2000s rock for the bride and her high school friends!). Jordan and the team also tracked down several very specific recordings for special moments like the processional during the ceremony, and worked in not one but two last minute karaoke requests. Flexible, communicative, and delivered on expectations!

We learned about Sounds Unlimited first through our online vendor search, then met with them at the Seattle Wedding Expo in January 2019. We signed our contract at the expo as there was a promo. We were originally planning an April 2020 wedding, which was rescheduled to September 2020 and then September 2021. SU was very understanding and accommodating, and when we finally had our celebration in 2021, it certainly met our expectations.

SU operates in that there is a crew, and your specific individuals are assigned closer to the event—all planning before then takes place in the portal. We used a number of custom songs for our ceremony, and our DJ had no problem locating the tracks.

We hired both a DJ and MC for our event—highly recommend. This allows for your assigned DJ to focus on keeping the vibe going, while the MC directed the flow. Our DJ (Marshall) and MC (Dianna) were fantastic to work with, and both reached out ahead of our event to chat. We covered specific details and cues, and I’d recommend going over the run-of-show in your touch-base meetings so everyone is on the same page.

Administrative-wise, SU was very understanding with the date changes and staying on top of communication ahead of the event.

We were so happy with the day-of execution and our DJ and MC’s enthusiasm. Marshall kept the dance floor going all night (with a smile under his mask the whole time!), and Dianna was a joy to work with. We had such a fun time and are incredibly grateful!

Very Pleased With This Company

Sounds unlimited was by far our best choice for music!! We are so pleased with how professional yet fun everyone who works there was/is! Everyone is so nice and helpful! We also had the pleasure of adding our MC as our officiant as well!! Which made things easier and flow together nicely! Sky (out Dj) was so FUN! We have so many compliments for him from our guests! They all loved him! He was so nice and put all our requested music into such great spots throughout the evening! Chris Toledo (MC/Officiant) was so nice, helpful, understanding and just down to earth! He made me feel like I was his number one priority whenever I needed to talk! He's just a great human being! Awesome wedding experience!

We loved using Sounds Unlimited for our May 2021 wedding! Leading up to the wedding, they were incredible and flexible as our plans changed often during Covid. They worked within our budget and were always willing to hop on a call.

For the wedding, we had Mat as our DJ and he was perfect. Great mix of music, great personality, and kept the wedding flowing without being annoying. We couldn't have asked for better. It took a huge weight off our shoulders to just fully hand this over to him and not worry about flow/timing. Would recommend to anyone getting married in the Seattle area :)

Fantastic!

Wow, absolutely no regrets booking Sounds Unlimited!! The level of customer service and availability to answer any and all of my plethora of questions was incredible. As a stressed out bride, I found there was very little to worry about once I booked Sounds Unlimited as I would get prompt and clear responses, explanations, and heads up regarding any and all decisions that needed to be made. Even in the middle of Covid, they were always willing to work within the latest restrictions to provide the absolute best product for our wedding layout.

Additionally, the library of songs they offer is very comprehensive and included most if not all of the songs we wished to have played, and they provide very reasonable ways to request a few custom songs if they aren’t in the library!!

I decided to book all my wedding vendors based off how my gut felt about how much they would value my wedding and treat me and my husband. I was back and forth between a few individual DJs and other businesses, but ultimately booked Sounds Unlimited because of those exact reasons including how easy and personable they were to communicate with (especially Erin with whom I had most contact!). Our decision was absolutely worth it!!

Great Experience Under Difficult Circumstances

Sounds Unlimited did an amazing job under the most challenging and difficult of circumstances in providing the entertainment for our wedding! My wife and I decided we wanted to move forward with our wedding despite the restrictions due to COVID-19. Every step of the way Sounds Unlimited came up with creative solutions that adhered to the latest CDC guidelines, and yet provided a memorable experience for all of our guests. Amazing DJ and MC!

Sounds Unlimited was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ and MC. Kristen was super helpful with answering all of our planning questions from music to timeline suggestions. She was very quick to respond and willing to give honest feedback or suggestions, which we truly appreciate! Sounds Unlimited did a fantastic job pairing us with the perfect DJ, Bryce, and fantastic MC, Blake. Blake was beyond helpful during his consultation with us and super thorough. He honestly helped ease all of our anxieties about how things would flow and helped us envision how the day would be from start to finish. During our event, Blake was wonderful with checking in just the right amount, making sure we were okay with how things were going and ensured it was exactly what we wanted our wedding to be. Professional team with the energy you want at your wedding!

Sounds Unlimited was the perfect choice for our wedding! We went with the "elite" package that included both a DJ and MC. Having an MC, in particular, definitely helped with keeping all the post-ceremony activities flowing and on schedule. And ours was awesome - shoutout to Blake! He was energetic and humorous, yet professional the whole time, which was just what we needed at our wedding. We really appreciated that he wanted to meet in person about a week beforehand to get to know us better and make sure he had all the details correct. We left feeling like we were in good hands and confident that he would make everything run smoothly. The music that he and our DJ, Bryce, chose worked great when it came time for dancing at the wedding, plus they made sure they worked in all our custom songs we had requested. They are so incredible fun and professional!

I’m so happy I decided to stop by Sounds Unlimited’s booth last year at the Seattle Wedding Show. Their communication is the best, very professional, and most of all, fun people!! Mat and Willem from Sounds Unlimited were our MC and DJ for our wedding reception. They were awesome! Mat did a phenomenal job keeping things on schedule. He also brought a lot of energy to the reception without stealing the spotlight from our speech givers, not an easy thing to do.

The music was fantastic! Willem manned the DJ booth with Mat. They played all of our specific music requests with flawless timing. The dance floor was basically full from the time the cake was cut till our grand exit.

We have been recommending this crew to all of our friends for two reasons: A) they do a great job B) we want to hang out with them again.

Dj Willem is fantastic!!

We hired Sounds Unlimited to DJ our September 21, 2019 wedding and we could not have been happier with their service. The portal for selecting our music was incredibly easy to use and had all of the songs we wanted. We were assigned DJ Willem who was absolutely amazing! DJ Willem was punctual, kind, charismatic and knew exactly how to keep everyone on the dance floor! Everyone at our wedding commented on how awesome the music was and how great the DJ was. Simply the best!

Jon was our DJ from Sounds Unlimited for our New Years Eve wedding & we could not be happier with the way our event turned out. We booked a DJ for our Wedding in November through Sounds Unlimited. The process of getting a quote and booking was very easy with Sounds Unlimited. We liked the process of working with the Sounds Unlimited team on the logistics and getting a DJ assigned to us based on our preferences. We were assigned Mat and he was great! Mat and the staff at Sounds Unlimited (Kristin and Oscar) were spectacular in all respects. Clearly everyone was most interested in ensuring our needs and expectations were fully met. They were and then some!

Here a few of the key points:
• Pre-wedding coordination and communication could not have been better. As seniors, we were not looking for an “entertainer” style DJ – just one that ensured that each moment was delivered just right. Mat listened well and provided exactly the style we were interested in. We have no doubt he will accommodate any request; he did so for us.
• Our wedding ceremony included the showing of a video. The pre-ceremony setup of the monitors and the cuing of the video during the ceremony at just the right moment were perfect.
• Our recessional song also required specific cuing – perfectly executed.
• Our reception included several specific dedications for our guests – again, not a beat was missed.

Scott (MC) + Austin (DJ) are the best!!!

This is a huge shout out to Scott and Austin. With all the review Sounds Unlimited has, it's no surprise that the amazing review continues. But this really is specifically for those two above who made our wedding day absolutely special.

Scott made every transition, announcement, intro, exit so smooth our guests were beyond impressed with how well one thing flowed to the next. Scott also went the extra mile to make sure we (Bride and Groom) were ready for the next moment so that we are never caught by surprise.

Austin KILLED it with the music. We were very specific, hand curated our songs, but his transition are the absolute best! I made sure I changed into my converse for the dancing and Austin delivered all the music to my heart's (and feet's) content.

There is a reason why they have tons of five star reviews. Hire them and get the photo booth package. Worth every cent.

Fantastic DJ Service!!!

We hired Sounds Unlimited for our wedding and Willem was our DJ. He did a fabulous job of getting everybody up and dancing from the first song through the entire reception. There was only one song he started and people started to sit down and he immediately recognized it and changed songs to get everyone back up. He was amazing at reading the crowd and taking requests to make sure all of the guests were enjoying themselves. I would definitely request Willem again!

Must Have at Any Wedding

Where to start!? From the very beginning of planning, everyone I talked to was beyond helpful and very informative. On top of that... everyone is so nice, and fast to respond! I HIGHLY recommend this company, the ambiance they created with the lights and the music was PERFECT! I received so many compliments about how fun the reception was because of our music and lighting (switches from white uplights to blue). I went with the “Ultimate Package“ which was the perfect choice for my fiancé and I; it had everything we wanted! Our DJ (Blake) and MC (Shawn) were phenomenal, again very easy to work with and very organized! I think Shawn knew I was stressed about timing and he kept everything moving and on time to ensure we had time to dance and let loose! I cannot thank these guys enough for everything they did, if you are looking for DJs, LOOK NO FURTHER!

There is no question that Sounds Unlimited is THE DJ company to select for your wedding. Their service is impeccable, and bottom line their goal is make everything you want for your wedding, exactly as you envision. Andrew was our DJ, and we were so happy that we were paired with him. Best decision ever

I made the smartest decision ever by getting and MC & a DJ, especially when I didn't have a day of coordinator. We got Blake as our MC. Honestly don't know what I would have done without Blake. My wedding wouldn't not have been the same. He was just awesome. He kept everything moving smoothly, said just the right amount of words when we needed him to, coordinates with vendors and the DJ when/if needed, knew exactly what to do based off everything we gave him and was just so flexible for my husband and I and what we wanted for our special day.
Randy was our DJ and awesome too. No "technical difficulties" and no weird/inappropriate songs. Beyond thankful!

Early on in the process, the staff was very responsive to my questions and emails. The online saving site is easy to navigate. Our DJ Matthew is great! He made sure that he pronounces each of our names perfectly - which is hard since half of us have pretty difficult foreign names. He also made sure that he has all the right versions of our special song requests. He can sense the room very well and have some really great ideas to help all the guests engaged and get out on the dance floor. Thank you for making our day so fun Matthew!

AMAZING company with high quality DJ/MC

From the very beginning we were impressed with the professionalism that Sounds Unlimited showed us. They were very informative and helpful when it came to picking out a package and answered all calls/emails promptly. During the week of our wedding we had a phone call with our MC/DJ (Andrew) to finalize everything and he was super energetic and made us feel at ease and that we could trust him to make our day the best day ever! Andrew went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and having a good time. Andrew even asked us multiple times throughout the day/night if he could get us anything (drinks, food and etc.). Great and affordable DJ

Joey was awesome! He was able to switch up some songs past the deadline for us and was great at reading the room for what to play for the reception. Working with Sounds Unlimited is the easiest thing ever-Jamie was extrememly helpful and answered ALLLLL my questions (and there were a lot!).
I went with an MC and DJ/lighting package/photobooth from them and it was a great decision on my end! Everyone was so professional-I think they out sourced for the Photo Booth so you go over details with a different company but their communication with everyone is spot on.

Not totally into the music planning part of the wedding day? If you are, that was me...Sounds provides a website to help you pick music-it has A TON of options and there are categories to narrow down types of music for all the different occassions at the wedding-that was really helpful for me.

Great party music

We hired Sounds Unlimited with the Elite package, which came with a DJ and an MC. We added on uplighting as well. The online music planning website was awesome and easy to use. We spoke with our MC about a week before the wedding so he could get to know us better and knew what to expect. He was funny and personable. Wonderful DJ service

I have nothing negative to say about Sounds Unlimited. They were reasonably priced & willing to travel (for a reasonable travel fee) for our wedding. Erin was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process and our DJ Andrew was absolutely wonderful. Erin answered every single one of my questions & was very understanding when I felt like I was bombarding her w/ them! She never once made me feel like my questions or requests were too much. Our DJ, Andrew, was also just as understanding & helpful. We had an almost hour long phone call not too long before our wedding and he went over every single detail with my husband and I. He answered all of our questions & was even excited with our music selections. He was very confident not only DJ'ing but also MC'ing. He had so many suggestions to add to our reception like trivia or games that we hadn't thought of, he joined in & danced with us with multiple songs to get the crowd going, and even offered to step in & be my day-of coordinator if we needed him to be. Review for Matt Pellegrino :)

We were assigned Matt as our DJ. My husband and I have very different tastes in music. He liked electronic music whereas I preferred Indian music. We just communicated to Matt our preferences and it was incredible how he was able to take our preferences and deliver exactly the kind of music we were looking for. Since Matt was not well-versed in Indian music, he even brought in an additional DJ to help out with the event. DJ and a dance floor were last on our priority list as we did not expect to have anyone on the dance floor. However, both of them were surprised us and managed to get everyone on the dance floor from 2-year olds to 60-year olds. Matt was our MC as well and did a fantastic job of taking cues from our wedding planner and keeping things on schedule. After the wedding, we received many compliments about the DJ and the music selection that was played. We also had a couple extra Indian elements incorporated into our reception. Matt took the time to discuss with us and learn more about the significance of these elements. We would highly recommend Matt and his partner!

Music makes a wedding

Music is very important to both my husband and I, so we knew we needed a good DJ. We decided to splurge for both the DJ & Emcee and we're so glad we did! Blake was our emcee and became SUCH an important part of our night. He easily walked the line between comedy, seriousness, and really made an impression on all our guests. Even though we had only met him for about an hour before the wedding, he seamlessly molded himself to the energy of our crowd and felt like part of the party, while keeping things professional. Both Blake & Austin (our DJ) were able to weave all of our music tastes (which are all over the place, from Christmas, to 50s sockhop, to current EDM) together to make every person at our wedding feel comfortable & got everyone up and dancing. From the early conversations, to the online music portal, to the in-person meeting with our Emcee, we were extremely satisfied every step of the way with this company. We would definitely recommend them!

This company has it all! Each and every person that we interacted with was friendly and professional. The system that they use for music planning for your day is easy to use and helps you to really plan out your vision. Now on to our actual DJ for the day. DJ Finn was perfect in every way! He was professional and I really felt as though he listened to every little detail that I was hoping for throughout the day. Once all the formalities were over, he even joined us all on the dance floor a couple of times. We simply cannot rave enough about him and the company that he works for. You can't plan your own wedding without Sounds Unlimited!!

Jamar was our MC and he really helped tie everything together. He completely put our minds at ease. We met with him about a month before the wedding and we had everything almost done, but were pretty stressed out about the fine details. Jamar talked with us for a couple hours and basically helped us detail out the entire day of timeline. He was super excited for us and we could tell right away that he was an absolute professional and amazing at his job. I was worried about having a stranger be such a big part of our wedding night, but after just 5 minutes of talking with him, we felt like he was an old friend. The day of, he got there a few hours before the ceremony and helped get everyone where they needed to be. I am normally a giant stress ball, but I was completely relaxed on my wedding day because Jamar had everything under control. Jamar kept the energy going at the reception and he made sure that everyone knew what was going on and what was going to be next. The MC was also really good. The dance floor was always full because he really read the room and would change the song if no one was dancing. There were a couple of false starts at the ceremony and with our first dance, but other than that it was great!

Superb, Thorough, Fun Wedding MC and DJ

My husband and I had MC Jamar and DJ Jesus for our wedding at Thornewood Castle this past August. From beginning to end, SoundsUnlimited and Jamar were professional, fun, and cared about every aspect of our wedding day down to the timing and detail. There were many pricing packages available. I was thoroughly impressed with the song selection process and how our personal wedding account on their site made planning music and the flow of the day easy. Jamar made sure to go over every single detail of the day and song with me. Jamar is spectacular, as a bride who is admittedly a little bit of a control freak and who picked a wedding venue with a shorter timeframe allowance than most, he kept to our schedule and allowed for flexibility all in a fun and unstressful way. Even when we ran a bit overtime due to lingerthan expected table visits at dinner, he found a way to squeeze in everything we wanted to do! He was a great host, and helped events flow from excusing tables to dinner to speeches, cake cutting to introductions, dances, bouquet toss, garter toss, leading dances you name it! He was always checking in with me without “checking in,” and I know the day would not have worked as well without him. Jesus had everyone out on the floor dancing, I mean everybody! He had a great song selection, stuck to our themes and everyone had a really great time. I don’t think I ever got off the dance floor! We had several people come up to us after the wedding asking for information on how to book Jamar for their children’s upcoming weddings and other events. We booked with Sounds Unlimited the day before our 9.8.18 wedding when we hadn't heard from our previously booked DJ the entire week leading up to the wedding. We were super stressed that our DJ was not responding to our calls, texts, and emails to go over all the final details (i.e. all of our song choices, timeline, arrival time, etc.). On 9/6, our wedding coordinator suggested we reach out to Sounds Unlimited to book a backup DJ, just in case our original DJ did not show up. The company called us the morning of 9/7 and we had booked our backup DJ by 2 pm. DJ Dan contacted us immediately and was super excited to work with us. He was professional and took time to go over all of the important details with us. After talking with him, we decided to ditch our original DJ as we were already 100% more comfortable sticking with DJ Dan since he knew our song choices, timeline, etc. He did a fabulous job! Our venue was tricky as it was rural, had limited Internet/wifi access, it was 3 hours from Seattle, and it was raining up until the ceremony! Even with all of these challenges, Dan did a great job and all of our guests loved him. The ceremony music was perfect and he kept everyone dancing through the night. If you want a sure bet and a fun time, book your DJ through Sounds Unlimited!

I was such a mess trying to stay organized during wedding planning and DJ was stressing me out. I had spoken to a few other vendors and wasn't feeling confident with them. Sounds Unlimited was so professional on the phone and quoted us a fair price and even gave us a discount and threw in free dance lights..score! They called to check in every once in awhile and made me feel totally comfortable that they had it all covered and taken care of. Also helped that they had already been at our venue (Pickering Barn) many times previously. Matthew was our DJ and played our requested songs and even threw in some good ones we didn't think of! Overall very happy with their services.

Sounds Unlimited literally saved my wedding! On the morning of my wedding, I realized that there was an extremely high chance that the DJ I had booked was not going to show up (long story short, I couldn't get a hold of my DJ during the last two weeks prior to wedding and he had some extremely negative reviews from a few weeks prior to my wedding). I called Sounds Unlimited first because they were one of the vendors I had originally spoken with and liked and knew that they work with a group of DJs, which offered a higher chance of potentially having someone available at the very last minute. I called at 6AM on Saturday, the morning of my wedding day. I only expected to hear an answering machine that might tell me when their office will open, if at all, over the weekend. To my pleasant surprise, an on-call answering service person picked up the phone and took down my message. She passed it to Julie, who was the best person that I could have talked to that morning. Julie listed to my story about what was going on. She sympathized with me and assured me that she will do everything in her power to help find me a DJ that day. She was even willing to contact the company's competitors for me, if none of the Sounds Unlimited DJs were available. She provided me with frequent updates throughout the morning and found me a last minute replacement DJ before 10AM! I don't know what I would have done without Julie and Sounds Unlimited. Julie's calming and reassuring voice and demeanor helped me to get through this very stressful situation. Daniel ended up being our DJ and did a fantastic job, given that he only had a 6-hour notice. Thank you so much, Julie, Daniel, and Sounds Unlimited!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. As far as weddings go we had quite a few issues with other vendors and PERRIN came in and washed all of those worries away! He was an incredible MC and was fabulous at reading what was going on and quickly responded. I called him day of with a change and was so easy breezy but on it at the same time. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and he did a perfect blend of what we both enjoyed. We had originally booked for more time and we had multiple guests come up to us commenting how lively he was and asked us how we knew him (he fit right in, felt like a long-time friend). Wish I could give you guys 10 stars, thanks for being so amazing. Perrin- you are a rockstar!

The music was definitely on point for my wedding!! Started out slow and comfortable, and then as promised, played music to get EVERYONE on the dance floor! So great. I loved them but they were a bit out of my budget and they worked with me to figure out a plan that I could afford. The set up for selecting dance and ceremony music was easy and detailed. We had Julian and he showed up, did an amazing job and played to the crowd perfectly. I didnt even meet him until after the ceremony since everything was crazy but he was a total pro. My favorite part was when he played Bohemian Rhapsody when he got a feel for the crowd and my mom, cousin and I sang they whole thing to the crowd. Loved them and would highly recommend.

Sounds Unlimited was amazing! The online planner was really helpful during the planning phase of our wedding and the staff was so responsive to questions and emails. Kentron and Morgan were our DJ and MC and they really made the party! Both of them were professional and really fun and totally understood the vibe we were going for with our wedding...we wanted a relaxed time in our backyard! Before the wedding, we talked with Kentron about our playlist and song choices and he not only had great ideas and suggestions to help the night flow, but he really got us (even more) excited for the party aspect of our wedding! On the day of Morgan showed up early to set up and both Kentron and Morgan were ready even though gusts showed up earlier than planned! Throughout the night they worked with our coordinator and with me to be sure everything was running smoothly! Couldn't be happier with our choice and their service!

Sounds unlimited was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ! Our DJ/MC Julian was flexible, professional and very fun. Everyone loved the music he played and kept giving us compliments on how awesome he was! We have never hired a DJ for an event but he set the bar high for the future. We hired Sounds Unlimited for my daughter's wedding at the MV Skansonia in Seattle on Friday, June 2nd. We were thrilled with our DJ, Mat, who did a fantastic job of making our relatively small group feel like a great party! He was great to work with, paying attention to the bride and groom's needs and playlists. He was early to the venue to have things set up in plenty of time. He timed everything during the ceremony very well. During the reception, he was spot on with transitions and with letting the crowd know what was up next. We enjoyed his friendly and professional vibe, and he kept the dance floor rocking with great tunes and cool lighting. My (now) wife and I had contacted Sounds Unlimited a mere month before our wedding. From the first call all the way to the final hour of our wedding reception - they were phenomenal. Their admin staff worked with us to determine what was best for our situation, and when we realized literally 'the day before' our wedding, that we were missing something, they helped us at a fair price and with no issue. Special thanks to Amanda, Erin, and Jamie who all worked with us to get contracts signed, songlists created, and to make sure we were happy. But the real magic, and my real shout-out goes to Riley. Whenever I next have to get a DJ, I'm always going to compare them to Sounds Unlimited, and in particular - this great guy who made our wedding PERFECT. The music was phenomenal, the speakers never once crackled or whined, and everything sounded absolutely perfect. No matter how many times we went over to Riley with a question, a concern, or a "hey...we're running late on this or that", he dealt with it wonderfully and was perhaps as much a part of the wedding as -any- of our guests. Sounds Unlimited exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not be happier with the entire end to end experience. Without hesitation, if any of my closest friends or family were looking for a DJ or lighting specialist, I would tell them Sounds Unlimited is the way to go.

From the first interaction with Amanda, the experience was perfect. The explanation of pricing and options were made clear. She answered my gauntlet of questions, and there were no hidden fees or tricks (I wish I could say that about multiple other companies I interacted with in the Wedding industry, including a DJ we almost went with before Sounds Unlimited and a lighting specialist). I had a specific lighting look in mind, and wanted to ensure that detail was taken care of. Amanda did not hesitate to run down the exact model and provide a photograph of the up lights. As an engineer, I know I can be a pain on the details, but that was not a problem. Sounds Unlimited worked to make me happy.

And if I thought I was happy with things up front, wow were my socks knocked off at the actual event.

Our DJ Mat P was incredible. Both my wife and I commented to ourselves that night, as well as after the event, that we really "lucked out" going with Sounds Unlimited. We were a little worried about not having a named DJ that we could interview prior to signing the contract, but wow, Mat was perfect and everything we wanted. He played all the music I wanted, took my 9+ hours of songs I selected and streamed them together for an appropriate evening, had a good pulse of the energy or need for slow dances, etc. I could not have asked for a more perfect DJ.
