An Unforgettable Wedding, Thanks to Tony Ho from Sounds Abound!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Tony Ho from Sounds Abound. He made our entire wedding day feel seamless from start to finish. We actually hired him not only as our DJ, but also as our officiant — so he played a huge role in our day, and he absolutely exceeded every expectation.

He wrote a beautiful, personalized ceremony for us and was incredibly organized throughout the whole process. He sent detailed questionnaires to gather everything he needed, and it was so clear how thoughtful, experienced, and intentional he is.

As a DJ, he was just as amazing. He was super organized, kept the entire night running smoothly, and made the reception so much fun. We were able to pick our must-play songs in his portal and even share playlists for cocktail hour and dinner, and he made sure every part of the day sounded exactly the way we wanted. He played all of our favorites, kept the energy high, and created such a fun atmosphere.

Our dance floor was packed all night. We had conga lines, a special New York Frank Sinatra moment for our NYC guests, and just nonstop great vibes. Tony truly started the day by giving us a heartfelt ceremony and ended it by throwing the best party ever.

We honestly can’t thank him enough. We would highly, highly recommend him to any couple!

Book them!!

Sounds Abound Entertainment was fantastic to work with for our wedding! They were so friendly, quick to respond, and very professional. We LOVED customizing playlists through their planning website, it allowed us to make our wedding unique to our music taste. Our DJ Geoff kept the dance floor packed all night and brought awesome energy to the reception. The photobooth was also a huge hit with our guests and was well worth adding on. We had an absolute blast thanks to the Sounds Abound team, and their services were worth every penny. We highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

Amazing in every way!

Having great music/MC and great food were the two top priorities for our wedding so of course we put a lot of emphasis on finding an amazing DJ and Sounds Abound went above and beyond. Starting with the owner, Tony, his communication was incredible - he was so quick to respond to every email with a solution. Tony was also so accommodating and willing to support in whatever we needed help with, which was so appreciated in the stressfulness of wedding planning. We had multiple uniquely edited files that he worked with us to incorporate into our wedding, helped incorporate cultural music, and answered every question. Our DJ, Tim, was also amazing. I had several specific requests and only had to go over everything one time and he had it down. He was attentive, detail oriented, and actually cared about our wedding going according to how we wanted it. In fact, even when it started raining in what I hoped would be an outdoor ceremony, Tim stayed out there and was willing to accommodate to whatever we wanted for our day. Additionally, several things ended up not going according to plan during our ceremony but Tim was so attentive to everything going on that he seamlessly adjusted the music to the point where no one could tell. Tim also did a great job keeping the dance floor alive, adjusting music as needed, throwing in some cultural music that we had requested, and overall having a fun mix for our guests. Overall, such a great company and group of people- highly highly recommend!!

Tony Ho is by far the best in the biz

Absolutely killed not! Had the dance floor packed all night! Played Carly what we asked him to play. Set our songs up for our special dances exactly how we asked! You will not find a better DJ out there! That is a guarantee! He has done multiple friends and family weddings and you will not be disappointed!

From the moment we talked with Tony Ho at Sounds Abound, we knew we had found our wedding DJ. Sounds Abound was recommended to us from a friend who had attended a Sounds Abound Wedding, and we are so glad we were able to work with them! Our DJ, Brian, was amazing, and he made sure that our wedding was filled with all of our favorite songs all night long! He took all of our requests and wove them into the night perfectly! DJ Mike Rocks!

DJ Mike was AWESOME! I really enjoyed his energy and what he brought to our day. He was super easy to work with and accommodating of anything we needed. I appreciated that I was able to provide a Spotify playlist of Indian music so that could be played in addition to the rest of his set and he did a fantastic job of reading the room and knowing what to play when. I also appreciated what a great MC he was!

Choosing Geoff was a great decision!

We had a great experience working with Geoff. He was very flexible in terms of letting me choose songs and great to work with in the weeks leading up to the wedding. He did a great job mixing songs at our wedding, we got a lot of compliments on choosing Geoff as our DJ as well as the way he was mixing and playing music! He also did a great job MCing throughout the night, including introducing us and all of our first dances. We definitely made the right choice with choosing Geoff for our wedding. Top notch wedding DJ company!

Keith made a fantastic DJ and MC for our wedding night. He read the room and got the vibes right. He pumped up our guests and led us through the evening perfectly. He gets bonus points because our officiant was almost unable to make it due to an emergency and he was willing and able to step up and officiate for us if need be. He was professional, organized, kind, and fun. He absolutely nailed the playlist, playing songs we suggested that fit the vibe. The dance floor was busy the whole evening!

Sounds Abound was also great to work with pre-wedding planning. It was easy to create our playlists on their website and they were very responsive with any issues or confusion. Several songs we wanted were not on their site, but Keith made sure he had them for us!

Cannot recommend Sounds Abound and Keith highly enough!

Amazing dj and photo booth services

We could have not done this wedding event without Sounds Abound! I am very thankful for them and would recommend this company to all my family and friends! They are quick to respond, very passionate, and supportive throughout the wedding planning process. They want to ensure everything goes smoothly and are extremely kind. Tony Ho was our DJ - he was accommodating with our cultural traditions, and he kept people on the dance floor all night. Great Experience!

We had a great experience with Sounds Abound for our wedding! Scheduling everything with the owner, Tony, was easy. Plus, when our original DJ had to cancel, Tony immediately informed us and got us a new DJ, Mike Macie. Mike did an incredible job at the wedding, including handling our super-specific playlists for each part of the day. In addition to the DJ, we also used Sounds Abound for uplighting and a photobooth, and both were fantastic. The photobooth was super fun, and they even made us a custom backdrop based on our wedding colors. We definitely recommend hiring Sounds Abound!

Highly Recommend!

Sounds Abound made our reception perfect! DJ Matt Ammons is just amazing! He somehow knew exactly what our style was and played the perfect songs at the perfect times. We had a fantastic time at our reception and danced the whole night! I can't say enough good things about Matt! He was so personable and energetic. We also had a photobooth provided by them and it was top notch. The photobooth attendant (sorry I don't remember the gentlemen's name) stayed all night, was very friendly and had great recommendations for people taking photos. Don't hesitate to use Sounds Abound and DJ Matt!

Best in the business!

I have known Tony for YEARS and already knew that he was the best in the business. As the bride this time, that confirmed and exceeded everything that I already knew. Tony was fantastic in making sure that the song selections we picked were played and highlighted. Not only that, he was so good at reading the room and creating an environment on the dance floor that all the guests enjoyed. The morning after the wedding, we got nothing but amazing compliments on Tony from our friends and family that attended.

We cannot recommend Tony enough, the services and ease of planning leading into the wedding were outstanding. Coupled with his easy going demeanor, he put my husband and I in a great mood the minute he arrived at the venue. We highly recommend Tony and SoundsAbound Entertainment to any couple, party, etc. who is looking for professional, quality service & a great party!

Great, personalized DJ that handled everything!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Keith from Sounds Abound took the time to get to know us through several calls, genuinely listening to our unique, nerdy preferences and inside jokes. He crafted a classy yet geeky video-game themed dinner playlist that perfectly set the mood. The reception was a blast, with energetic music that kept everyone dancing and celebrating all night. Sounds Abound/Matt Ammons was a wonderful choice as our wedding DJ! The process was seamless from start to finish. From the consultation to the end of our wedding night, I can't say enough good things. Sounds Abound has a portal you can use every day up until your big event which was great for us to use in and out of planning our music choices. Matt was such a great choice for us, he is so personable and makes sure everything is up to your standards. He really made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Most of our guests left our wedding saying "wow, the dance floor was packed all night!" "amazing song choices, I've never seen that many people on the dance floor!" He really kept the party going and I felt like he played great song after great song, for all generations. Highly recommend Sounds Abound and Matt Ammons as your next wedding DJ!

Perfect DJ

Steve Drews was the PERFECT DJ for our event! He was organized, thoughtful, and full of energy throughout the entire day! Steve coordinated all audio, MC, and musical needs for our ceremony and reception with expertise! He met with us beforehand to go over all the details including song choices, audio equipment needs, name pronunciations, and the schedule of events, allowing for our wedding day to be stress free! Even with a lot of mixed tastes in music, he kept everyone on the dance floor and having a great time! We would recommend Steve and the team at Sounds Abound for any event!

A Night We Will Always Remember Thanks to Sounds Abound

Our entire wedding was amazing, but the music with Sounds Abound for our reception stood out to us and all of our guests for being sensational! DJ Geoff was able to meet all of our special requests to make this night unforgettable. DJ Keith is a must have vendor for your wedding

We used DJ Keith from Sounds Abound, and he was the BEST DJ in every way. He was professional, dressed perfectly, sociable but not over sociable, gave me and my groom EVERYTHING we asked for, and was so nice. He communicated with us and asked questions when he needed to. He was a true DJ. He played the songs we wanted to hear, mixed, fed off the crowds response to the music, and kept us dancing until the very last song. I am a wedding coordinator and have worked with Sounds Abound DJ's many times, and they are not all good. However, Keith is the best! Ask for him and you will have exactly what you want in a DJ. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He made our night a celebration and made us beyond happy.

Amazing DJ for your wedding!

Matt Ammons from Sounds Abound played our wedding on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, in Naperville, Illinois and did an amazing job. Leading up to the event the Sounds Abound team had excellent, user-friendly resources for us to use as we generated songs we felt were “must plays,” songs we “like,” and songs we don’t want played. Sounds Abound has great customer service and have many services that can enhance any wedding. On the day of the wedding, Matt was thorough with his work and did well with all aspects of the wedding. Matt arranged the sound for the ceremony and DJed the reception. His years of experience as a DJ were on full display throughout the night as he consistently played music that catered to the party. The owner of Sounds Abound, Tony Ho, was also communicating to ensure that we had our needs met leading up to the wedding and it was just an excellent experience from start to finish working with Sounds Abound. When evaluating DJs for our wedding we found Sounds Abound to be reasonably priced and looking at the work they did, it was most certainly something we would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a DJ play their wedding. Thank you to Matt and the Sounds Abound team for making our wedding even more spectacular than we could’ve expected! People brought their boogie shoes to the wedding and didn’t stop boogying until the party was over!

Hire sounds abound!

We had the pleasure of working with Tony Ho as our DJ, Nicole in the office, and Emi as our photo booth attendant. From beginning to end, they were quick to respond, organized, and on top of last-minute requests. We admittedly did not give them a lot to work with music-wise. We said to just go with what’s popular because my husband is in a metal band, and we felt most people wouldn’t want to listen to that.

Tony curated the perfect playlist for our cocktail hour and dinner music, incorporating some metal and even pulling from my husband’s band’s Spotify! It was very tasteful, and our guests kept complimenting how much they loved the music and how unique it was for a wedding. It was so personal to us, and we can’t thank him enough. We also couldn’t decide on a first dance song, so Tony flawlessly blended both songs together!

If you are debating adding a photo booth with them, it’s definitely worth it. Our guests were in the photo booth all night! We got to not only keep copies of all the pictures, but they also put them in this beautiful guest book for us to keep. Seriously, it was an absolutely perfect wedding, thanks in huge part to Tony and his team. Don’t hesitate—hire them!

Easy, flexible and fun!

Keith was our amazing DJ for or March 2024 wedding! He was so flexible with everything and kept the party going! The songs were transitioned smoothly and our dance floor was filled the whole night. We had DJ Matt Ammons with Sounds Abound for our wedding celebrating on NYE weekend, and we give our highest recommendation to him! He had our event run super smoothly from cocktail hour to bridal party entrance to first dances and speeches to our most favorite event at a wedding-DANCING! Dj Geoff brought the house down at our wedding. He was articulate, flexible when changes arose, and had the best energy behind the turntables! From ceremony music, to cocktail hour hits, to.the reception dance floor, all was wonderfully done!

Most Amazing DJ and Epic Dance Party

We could say so many amazing things about Sounds Abound Entertainment and owner, Tony Ho. A DJ who could seamlessly go from a ceremony to the most epic dance party ever was so important to us on our wedding day. We could not have dreamed a better person or company to be a part of our day.

Tony perfectly incorporated so many personal touches throughout our wedding – some that we specifically requested, and some that he included on his own accord because he took that much time to get to know us as a couple and knew it would make us smile. Tony was integral to so many perfect moments throughout our day, and it makes me tear up thinking about how much he cared about our experience on the most important day of our lives.

You cannot ask for more in a DJ. Tony and all employees of Sounds Abound Entertainment truly care about their customers, and will bend over backwards to make your event everything you want and more. I’m being sincere when we say that I’m looking for any opportunity to have a DJ at another life event, just so Tony can be there. Do not look any further for a person or company for all of your sound, lighting, and photobooth needs. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Hire Sounds Abound & DJ Tony Ho, best experience ever!!

Sounds Abound was the best DJ choice by far for our wedding in August 2023! They were extremely responsive and willing to go the extra mile to make our day special, even setting us up with uplighting for our reception space and cold sparklers for our send off. Their portal was super easy to enter in our wedding details and song choices. We also really appreciated the team accommodating our officiant’s request for a lapel microphone and music stands for our readers.

We LOVED having DJ Tony, he made the entire planning process so easy and fun! His energy is absolutely electric!! He took the time to get to know us, helped us plan out the music vibe for each part of the day, and gave us so many great suggestions to make our experience even better. Both DJ Tony & his assistant absolutely crushed it on our big day, our ceremony music was perfect and everyone had such a blast thanks to the music and dance floor set up! We’re still receiving compliments on how awesome our DJ was today! Truly an unforgettable and amazing experience.

Incredible!

I cannot speak highly enough about Sounds Abound! We had Mike for a Dj & he was amazing! He got our crowd pumped and made us feel so comfortable. Best DJ best night!

From the start, Sounds Abound, specifically Tony Ho, was incredible. We met with him about 5 months prior to our wedding and kept in touch throughout the entire process! He answered any questions that we had about music for ceremony and reception, flow of the evening, and we even had awesome cold sparklers that surprised all of our guests! Tony went out of his way to make sure that any idea we gave him, he was able to execute. We couldn't thank him enough for such an amazing night!

Tony Ho is who you want

Tony was phenomenal - not only were we thrilled with the experience and music he provided for the reception, but he was professional, timely, and fun. We would absolutely recommend. He’s worth it! We had several people at the reception comment about how they liked his emcee presence and music. He also led the reception in a way that added to it while not being a distraction, which was perfect. You won’t regret going with him!

Ray Jones is your guy!

My husband and I had the great pleasure of working with Ray Jones for our wedding earlier this month. Ray was spectacular and was so accommodating for anything we asked for. He was professional during the entire process from planning to wedding day. Our guests raved about his performance and how great he kept the crowd engaged. Super Fun Dance Floor!

We're so glad that we chose Sounds Abound/Geoff to be our DJ! From the booking to the night of the wedding they/he was so great to work with. I loved using the portal to add our preferred and do not play songs to. Geoff stuck to those playlists and played great music during our reception. He was also super organized and friendly. I would recommend him for any wedding! Our guests commented on how fun our wedding was and how great the music was. Thanks Geoff!

The best dj ever!

We chose Matt Ammons to DJ our wedding Labor Day weekend 2023 and he was AMAZING! The process of choosing music for the different parts of the ceremony and reception went seamlessly and they had such a broad music database. Our dance floor was NEVER empty. All of my guests raved that Matt was the best DJ they have experienced at a wedding in a long time. In addition, we opted for the photo booth, which all of our guests also loved, especially the personalized picture banner on the photos. SoundsAbound also provided uplighting for our wedding, which was also spectacular and set up went so smoothly. If you need a DJ for your wedding or event, I highly recommend Matt and SoundsAbound!

Great Experience!

We used Sounds Abound for our DJ, lighting, and photo booth! Very happy with all services provided. DJ Craig met with us twice beforehand to learn about our music preferences, and he provided an excellent music selection and amazing MC experience for our reception! Great experience!

Tony was phenomenal. He is a professional on all levels and truly excels at his craft. Tony was a one man show - able to seamlessly transition people and equipment through all aspects of the wedding. As our MC he knew how and which moments to help make shine.

One of the absolute highlights of our wedding was how Tony was able to get literally every single person at our wedding up and dancing on the FIRST song. We had 200 people - no easy task! In under 20 seconds of him starting the first song, the dance floor was a sea of people and to us it was truly magical. It was a perfect first song choice and we’ll always be thankful to him for that. He then kept that dance floor filled the remainder of the night.

We would highly recommend Tony and Sounds Abound!

We had the best experience with Sounds Abound!!! Owner Tony Ho was the DJ for our reception and made it a party we will never forget. Prior to the wedding, Tony and his team had extremely quick replies to our questions and were very easy to work with. Tony radiates with excitement and was set up ready to go for our day hours ahead of time. His MC and DJ skills are both amazing. DJ Geoff kept the party going!

We had the pleasure of Geoff being our DJ and MC for our wedding. He had done another wedding we attended, so it was an easy choice from the start! Prior to our wedding day, we had a request of a mash-up for the father/daughter dance. Tony delivered the perfect combination of songs to meet our needs and ensured our day-of DJ had the track ready to play. On our wedding day, Geoff was cool and calm, yet kept our timing on track. Many of our guests told us that he did a great job keeping the party alive. He took everything we requested of him and made it a reality on our dance floor. We would strongly recommend Sounds Abound and DJ Geoff to anyone who wants their wedding to be a real party!

Thorough, professional and FUN.

My wife and I chose Sounds Abound and their DJ Keith for our wedding reception and we were so happy with our decision. Keith worked with us weeks in advance in preparation for our big day. He answered all of our questions and gave us helpful advice. Keith paid attention to every detail including the pronunciation of some difficult surnames and finding international/foreign music. At our reception he got everyone involved in the celebration. Guests danced all night long, it was an unforgettable experience. Keith was the ultimate professional and I would highly recommend Sounds Abound and in particular Keith if you are looking to celebrate a big event.

Professional, personable, amazing!

My husband and I got married on April 22nd and now being two weeks out we reflect on how absolutely perfect it was from start to finish. We couldn’t have ask for a more magical day and a large reason for that was sounds abound with DJ Tony Ho!! He is so personable, dedicated to making sure the day ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. He somehow found a way to mix in our music taste which isn’t really wedding dancing music and it was the perfect touch of “us” that is one of our favorite things to look back on. We had the Photo Booth as well and the attendant was incredible!! So interactive with all of our guests and looking back at those photos gives us belly laughs. We have said multiple times now how we wish we could get married every year because of how amazing the day was. Thank you again sounds abound and DJ Tony Ho!!! Book this man!!!

Stress less on your wedding day

I chose Sounds Abound, specifically Keith for our wedding DJ, along with uplighting. They have a nice event planner that you can fill in as you know what songs you want for your ceremony or what songs you absolutely want played or any you don't. Everyone had such a fun night! Dance floor was packed and Keith didn't even flinch at any song we requested - even a Greek dance! Our songs we wanted were played and I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. He checked with us the week before and said he was the only vendor we could change things with the day of! (We didn't but this was VERY stress relieving) He double checked before doing anything and didn't play any of our no plays! Brought his own set up - didn't need anything from the venue. He was ready if it rained because we had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Would highly recommend if you don't want to worry about music, people dancing or announcements on your wedding day!!!!!!!

The work of the Sounds Abound team went far beyond all our expectations! The planning process was very easy with an easy to navigate website and detailed phone call prior to our event. Tony was very responsive to all of our questions and was able to incorporate special musical selections for our Polish American wedding reception! Tony Ho & Sounds Abound are Simply the Best!

Our wedding would not have been the same without Tony as our DJ. He is without a doubt one of the best DJ’s in the business. On top of his mastery over music and vibe setting, he was an amazing host for each stage of our wedding. Not only did he take a lot of stress out of the music planning, he absolutely nailed the music for our wedding and helped keep a structure to the night.

Prior to the wedding, we had a detailed phone call with Tony where he prioritized understanding the music and vibes we wanted to set for the different parts of our wedding. On the night itself, Tony absolutely nailed everything we had asked for and effortlessly incorporated all the nuances of our different music tastes into the wedding itself. He perfectly executed the special songs we picked for our ceremony and first dances, and helped keep the right pace so we didn’t miss a thing. For cocktail hour and dinner, he set the mood and was spot on with the songs and artists we had discussed prior to the night. When it came to the reception, Tony was second to none. He had the dance floor packed and kept everyone dancing.

My husband and I have received nothing but compliments about how fantastic Tony was. He is truly one of the best at his craft and we could not have asked for more. Hire this man, you will not regret it!

Steve is the best DJ around!

We hired Steve from Sounds Abound from our wedding off of a recommendation and it was the best decision! Steve kept the dance floor alive! There was never a dull moment. Life of the PARTY!!

Tony Ho was the best DJ - he made sure he played all the songs we wanted and really kept the dance floor alive. All our guests had a blast and I can only thank sound abound for being the best! We cannot say enough positive things about Sounds Abound and Geoff specifically! They were great at communication, tool was easy to use, and overall amazing to work with. we didn’t have to worry about anything. Geoff was our DJ and he absolutely crushed it. As soon as the music started everyone was on the dance floor. People did not leave it all night, and people all keep telling us how fun it was and how great the music was. He did a perfect mix of oldies/new music, and all ages were out there all night. Tony Ho is the man!! From the day of booking to the day to our wedding, and after, Tony has been awesome with communication! The online platform we used was so easy and useful to have! Brian K. saved the day!

Brian K. was an amazing DJ and kept our dancefloor packed the entire night long. He was super flexible and checked in with us throughout the night to make sure our expectations were being met. Brian took care to pronounce the wedding party's names correctly and was responsive to a couple last minute requests like a story during dinner from my Father-in-Law. One of my favorite memories was when Brian played a song from a punk band my cousins and I love that we requested. Everyone was so surprised and happy to have that moment together. Sounds Abound (+ Tony Ho) was absolutely phenomenal. We didn’t have to worry about anything and they made our day so special. Pro tip: have a last dance with just you and your spouse! It was such a pleasure working with Sounds Abound. One of the most attentive, professional companies I have come across. The attention to detail from the office staff, to our amazing DJ was second to none. Our DJ, Keith was on the ball and contacted me day-of for nearly every communication I sent. Keith's experience quelled all my concerns about the wedding day. He has seen it all and knows how to act on his feet. His cadence and strong voice were exactly what I was looking for in a DJ. He controlled the vibe and energy throughout the evening- the dance floor was LIT. Everything went so well. Keith and Vince (photo booth attendant) were awesome! Don’t snooze on DJ Tony Ho! HE WAS THE BEST

My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I attended a friend’s wedding who had Tony as their DJ and he absolutely crushed it that we knew if we were ever to get married, Tony would be our DJ. A few years later, it was our turn and the only DJ we “researched” (since we reached out to our friends), spoke to, and booked was Tony. The booking and coordination process leading up to the wedding day was so easy. He’s such a fun guy, laid back, so kind, and super professional. His style immediately vibed with ours. On the day of the wedding, he read the room so well and played all of our favorite songs. Literally no one left the dance floor. It was nice having a DJ who was creative with his own style but listened to us as his clients who didn’t want the typical overplayed wedding songs. Trust me when I say that he will cater to your needs, make the room and you as clients feel at ease, and ensure you have a good time at your event. Most of all, he let my husband karaoke to his favorite song at the end of the night and the entire guest list stuck around just for that encore! Hire Tony — having a DJ who knows how to run the show and set the tone of the event are imperative to having a memorable event and he exceeded those expectations. THANK YOU, TONY! We have a whole list of friends who still need to get married so we’ll be recommending you to them, haha!

Party Expert

Sounds Abound made the planning process so easy with their online planner and payment system. But I have to say that DJ Tony Coix was a perfect fit for our wedding. He made an excellent MC during introductions and toasts, he handled the special dances and dedications with great care, but I was most impressed that our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE time. There were people that never left the dance floor, and I've never seen that at a wedding. Myself and my husband couldn't have had more fun! He matched our energy and the energy of the room.

Fantastic. Such a fun time with Tony Ho

Tony Ho was made for this. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else on our special day. He has been approachable and easy to contact prior to the wedding day. We called him a few times and bounced our ideas off of him and he was easy going, gave us the time and made the phone call experience enjoyable. His personality no doubt is what makes him perfect for this job and to have on the wedding day. He was professional all the way through. I loved that he was able to to communicate with me on the wedding day to keep me in the loop such as checking in with the last dance song. He even allowed me to dj for a bit ;) I would 100% recommended him to have for your event. My favorite part is that he takes to the time to read the audience and the bride and groom to get a feel for what they would appreciate and we don’t have to even say anything and he just took care of it for us. The groom and I ran out of time to provide a detailed list of music for our cocktail hour and dinner list but he filled in the rest for us and it was exactly what I would have planned

Matt Ammons - DJ/MC Rocks!

Our wedding was up in Harvard IL on 7/30/2022, and although Sounds Abound is located in Naperville IL, after we experienced them at a family wedding last year, I knew I needed to book with them! Surprisingly, they had one of best values price-wise in comparison to some of the DJ’s closer to our area, which made them a no brainer. We chose Matt Ammons as our DJ, and he was a PERFECT fit. He was patient and fun, and kept the vibe up all night. He knew which songs to play to keep the current group on the dance floor, and accommodated music requests as long as they fit the vibe. I even received a number of compliments on the DJ, and a few requests for information on the company – and that’s when you know you’ve found a good one. They also offer photo booth options. We chose the social both as it was the best value for the price, and you get it all night long, which is exactly what I wanted! Overall a fantastic experience with Sounds Abound – and specifically Matt Ammons. I highly recommend them, and will continue to give out their information to anyone who asks. Book them – you won’t regret it!

Perfect Entertainment Team!

I found Sounds Abound through my venue's list of preferred vendors. They stood out to me because they provided both DJ services and a photo booth. They were prompt with communication, particularly through email, ever since I first inquired. I picked Tony Ho as my DJ after reading many positive reviews about him. I can definitely say I made the right choice! I felt like I was in good hands throughout the wedding process (he was always telling me things would go seamlessly) but I honestly wasn't sure how all the songs would work with timing (i.e. timing of entrances, would the song line up with when we were trying to do something, etc). All of the music was PERFECT, it truly felt as though every song was meant for exactly what it was planned for. I have several friends who have gotten married recently and some of their biggest complaints were about their DJ playing songs they didn't want, even when they were told not to play them. Not only did Tony do an excellent job following our playlist but he also kept people dancing all night! Tony and his assistant Doug, who helped at our photo booth, truly made everything relating to music and entertainment a breeze! Tony announced everything perfectly, from family and bridal party entrances to announcements about my late night snack table! He made sure all the important events (bouquet toss, garter toss, sparkler exit) happened before my photographers and videographers had to depart. There was even a semi-last minute change with our transportation for after the reception, and Tony made sure the last song and announcement for our shuttle happened before we had to depart. I would recommend Sounds Abound, Tony, and their team to everyone!

Simply the BEST

Tony is the BEST DJ ever! We knew he was professional and great to work with from our first conversation. He put us right at ease with his knowledge and demeanor. ALL of the vendors that we worked with know Tony and adore him. I cannot speak highly enough of his services. He talked us through the process leading up to our wedding. On the day of the wedding, there was a change to the entrance music. A friend was supposed to play the guitar, but no longer could. Tony stepped right in and provided the perfect music without missing a beat. During dancing, he played all of the music we had asked for, he even rapped one of the songs himself! We also had a cultural piece to our celebration. We had an Indian drummer enter and play for awhile. We put Tony in touch with the drummer, and they worked together to provide the perfect atmosphere to start the party. EVERYBODY was on the dance floor thanks to Tony. He is the BEST!

What a Night!

Our DJ Keith was amazing. He was organized and professional including his smooth DJ voice. Any idea or song we had he was able to provide instantly, even our Game of Thrones introduction. He also kept the dance floor packed all night with all age groups. The evening started with Classical cocktail music and ended with Eminem. I highly recommend Keith from Sounds Abound!

Amazing DJ

Where to even begin! Our wedding was on 6-18-22 and we were so lucky to get Brian as our DJ. He was so easy to talk to prior to the wedding and understood all the requests we had and had some ideas to share with us as well.
He knew were wanted a lot of 80s and 90s music and he delivered that perfectly. We also had a lot of kids and teenagers at the weeding and he knew how to get them involved and took their requests, like we asked him to do.
We had compliments on the music all night long from so many guests. The dance floor was always busy, even for our smaller wedding.
I cannot thank Brian and Sounds Abound enough for making our wedding reception so much fun.

Sounds Abound , in particular Tony Ho, exceeded our expectations

We booked Sounds Abound (DJ: Tony Ho) for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier. Tony made the process incredibly easy for us. He used our requests and tastes in music to curtail the wedding playlist. The dancefloor was packed the entire night and he was able to keep people from ages 10-88 boogying all night long.

Importantly, Tony put many personal touches into the day. During speeches the father of the groom and best man mentioned songs and a particular movie reminding them of the couple. Tony had songs queued up tying to both themes. He also tactfully handled requests that were on the do not play list.

We also added the photobooth, which we greatly appreciated. The photos came in the classic printed version, via text, and we got a dropbox folder. This was a huge hit with the guests.

All in all, the experience of Sounds Abound was absolutely incredible. Five stars is not enough to rate how happy we were with Sounds Abound (and we promise they didnt pay us anything to say this)

Tony Ho and Sounds Abound will keep EVERYONE on the Dance Floor!

Tony Ho at Sounds Abound was one of the first vendors I had booked. I have been to 4 weddings (including my own!) where Tony Ho has been the DJ and every single time the weddings are the MOST fun. Tony Ho and Sounds Abound consistently keeps all of the guests, young and old on the dance floor all night long. I think it is safe to say our guests did not want the night to end when they started chanting "one more song!" twice! We even had a shuttle issue that pushed our timeline back and Tony was able to keep our guests entertained and happy while waiting. I could not imagine anyone else doing our wedding. If you want your wedding to be a blast, personable for you, and everyone on the dance floor then Tony Ho and Sounds Abound is for you!!

We used Sounds Abound for our wedding and it was by far the best decision we made vendor-wise! Tony Ho was our DJ and he was phenomenal! Sounds Abound was so reasonably priced and were top notch in making our wedding music exactly what we envisioned. Tony was better than ever and we would highly recommend him for ANY event - especially if you want that event to be a very fun dance party. Tony was so great at checking in with us and listened to all of our non-traditional ideas and helped them come to life - from R&B music during dinner to creating the perfect ceremony music for us, making a mashup for my father-daughter dance , and turning our reception into a club he was literally the best part of our wedding. I can't say enough good things about Sounds Abound! I would recommend them to everyone for any event needing music! I'm so grateful for this company, they legit made my wedding night the most fun party ever. We were blessed to have Tony Ho as our DJ/MC. He read the room perfectly and played music accordingly, everyone was dancing until the venue closed. The dance floor was PACKED all night long because Tony knew exactly what to play! He was funny, kind, and creative with his ideas. He accommodated our unique requests (e.g., we had a flower "man" do a dance & Tony was more than happy to work with the song transitions!), and we also had many last minute changes that Tony took care of easy. He got all our names/titles right for our grand entrance and was always checking in to make sure things went right (for example, our wedding song has multiple versions & he double checked which one I wanted which I appreciated so much). I can't say enough good things! I would recommend Sounds Abound to everyone in the area! I will post photos of the cool uplighting too once our professional photos come in (I recommend the uplighting wholeheartedly! It made the room pop!). Also the online portal is easy to navigate and makes planning all the songs/order of events much easier!

We can’t recommend SoundsAbound and specifically Tony Ho enough! Outstanding customer service, impeccable set up and an out of this world experience. Tony had an EPIC cocktail hour playlist that got the crowd hyped for open dancing. Jason and I didn’t know what to play during dinner and entrusted Tony and his experience to fill what we lacked - he DID NOT disappoint whatsoever. Best DJ ever

Tony Ho was our DJ for our wedding. We have nothing but good things to say about him! We chose him because he was the DJ for my brothers wedding 2 years ago and his wedding was so much fun. He knows exactly what music to play to make a wedding fun. We didn't want the typical music that is played at every wedding. We wanted our wedding to feel like one big party and that is what he gave us. People danced the entire night. The planning process was also so easy. We were able to fill everything out online for what songs we wanted. I've been to many weddings in the past few years and I can honestly say out of all the djs we have heard at other weddings he is definitely my favorite and I would recommend him to everyone!

An Absolutely Amazing Time!

Tony Ho with Sounds Abound was absolutely amazing! After having to postpone our reception twice with the pandemic, Tony and the team were able to accommodate us and answer all of our questions. At our reception Tony blew all of our expectations out of the water! I had so many people come up to me to compliment our DJ choice and ask how we found him (thanks to the Knot). Tony made sure to check in with us throughout the night and helped us stay on track throughout with introductions and announcements. We had an absolute BLAST as well as everyone that attended. We also rented the photo/social booth which I will tell everyone is SO WORTH IT! It was so fun getting all of the photos/gifs after to see everyone having fun. We also had people who couldn't attend check the link and see the party unfold which was a nice idea. Sounds Abound and Tony Ho specifically deserve all the stars. Thank you for such a wonderful night to celebrate.

Couldn't be happier!

Sounds Abound was GREAT! They were professional, friendly, and flexible. Our DJ Matt was so helpful on the day of our wedding. He kept the party going and seemed to know exactly what I wanted to hear! Our photo booth was a hit. Sounds Abound brought the party!

Tony Ho is the best!

Sounds Abound was amazing on our wedding day! Tony Ho was our DJ and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!! Communication was simple, and he helped to plan and organize all the major points of the day with us ahead of time. He was totally amazing with taking the lead of the crowd in playing songs and was super detail oriented in playing music that we didn’t necessarily mention but LOVE (for example music/songs were referenced in speeches and instantly that music was played during dinner! It was such a great surprise). Tony was a fun guy with a great personality that kept the party going. We didn’t want it to end! Thanks Tony!!

Fun, Enthusiastic, Perfect DJ

We chose Sounds Abound for our special day on 12.17.2021 at the Haight. We had Matt he was legit the best. He was so fun and on point all throughout the wedding. He kept the party going at all times which is exactly what I wanted for our wild friends and family. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thank you Sounds Abound for making Nick and my day the best! Highly suggest this company to anyone as we also used Sounds Abound Matt for my husbands sisters wedding over the past years!

Fantastic party

Tony Ho was fantastic! We didn’t originally know about it hire Sounds Abound or Tony Ho, however through some unfortunate circumstances, we had to hire a new DJ. Once we saw the amazing reviews on both sounds abound and Tony, we knew we had to choose them.
Tony was fantastic. We talked to him ahead of the date to give him an idea of what we were looking for. He hit the mail on the head. The dance floor was filled all night, and loads of people mentioned our amazing DJ

Amazing dj!

We couldn’t be more impressed with Sounds Abound Entertainment. From the moment we were considering using Sounds Abound Entertainment, we were impressed with the communication and ease of the process. They answered all questions for us, made themselves available by phone, email, or text message, and even set aside time for us to ask any questions, get familiar with their online user platform.

We got lucky and were able to book Tony Ho for our wedding. He was INCREDIBLE! Again, he was quick to respond to any questions we had and listened to what we had envisioned for our wedding. He provided great suggestions for us, sent us drafts/a final proof of the photobooth pictures, and he was a great communicator. On the day of our wedding, he was there to set everything up even before we even arrived so he could talk to the venue about final details and make sure everything was perfect for us. We had a few special requests for him-- we had a friend singing our first song and a few special shoutouts we wanted to make sure happened at our wedding. He made everything happen and more. He was truly the BEST DJ- went with the flow but also kept everything moving according to plan. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we look forward to recommending Tony to all of our family and friends. Thank you so much for everything, Tony!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!

DJ Tony Ho came to us very highly recommended and he did not disappoint. We had a smaller guest list than the average wedding and he kept people on the dance floor all the way until the last song. He was an incredible host for the night and my daughter (the bride) and groom had the time of their lives. I will absolutely hire Tony again for any events I plan and recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and experienced DJ!

STILL getting compliments!

Sounds Abound was incredible to work with! We hired DJ Michael Lang and Tony with the photobooth. Both were incredibly professional and exceptional at their respective jobs. Initially, we hired Michael due to his UIUC affiliation (we all attended UIUC) and we are still getting comments from our guests at how well he did to keep our dance floor going! There was one point where the guests weren't dancing as much as previous song's and Michael was so attentive to this and changed the song. Couldn't have asked for better service, photobooths, or DJ's. Will definitely be using Sounds Abound for our future large events.

Hope to be a guest at another wedding they are apart of!

Jason was amazing through and through. Sounds Abound had been the DJ at a family members wedding and I knew right away that I needed them for my wedding. They were attentive to the point that if guests were leaving the dance floor, the DJ would transition the song right away to bring guests back in. So many of our guests have said they haven't danced that long in years! Jason played the perfect mix of music for both the younger and older crowd. He listened to every one of our needs and paid special attention to ensure he introduced our complex family correctly. I will be recommending Sounds Abound for years to come and hope to be a guest at another wedding they are apart of. Thank you so much!

Tony Ho of Sounds Abound is Hands Down The Best in the Midwest

My now husband Dan and I were referred to Tony by a friend who used to work for Sounds Abound. We absolutely could not be happier - working with Tony was a dream. He’s so kind and has great energy, had a call with us to understand our vision. As serious music lovers, we were really particular about what was played, and he was willing to accommodate all of our requests. Everyone at the wedding loved him and gave so many compliments on the music, and the wedding itself was a blast. We danced all night, there wasn’t a single point where the dance floor was empty. Great DJ Vendor!

SoundsAbound and more specifically Matt Ammons were fantastic to work with for our wedding! Their online planning tool is easy to use and helpful to organize all your music needs for the big day. Matt was fun, energetic, and great to work with. He knew how to keep the dance floor full by playing to the crowd we had along with mixing in our favorites. Matt even went so far to timing our walk in music perfectly without us even telling him. I would defiantly recommend SoundsAbound for any DJ needs, and especially Matt!

Amazing dj!

10/10 would recommend! We had Craig and from the start he was amazing. We had to postpone our wedding twice and Craig was great throughout the process. He communicated very well and met with us a few times before the wedding and just got our vibe! Throughout our reception he constantly communicated with us, made sure we knew what was coming next, and kept the party going all night! Craig was outstanding and really listened to what we wanted but still gave us insight on how to make the reception go as best as possible! Definitely would recommend this company and Craig to anyone!

Tony Ho was the DJ for our big day and he was absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough about comfortable, easy, and fun he made everything. Our prep meeting was wonderful and he eased any nerves we had. The dance floor stayed active all night and he was a tremendous MC. Loved Sounds Abound!

One of our main goals for our reception was that the dance floor was never empty. Matt made sure that was the case. Once your reception starts, it is hard to keep an eye on the clock to make sure you stay on schedule. Matt was great at keeping us on track so that way we had plenty of time for dancing. Our day, like many, was affected by COVID. Because of this, we changed our plans for the day many times and Sounds Abound was always able to accommodate them even when we had to postpone the date by over 6 months. Also, Sounds Abound uses an online portal which makes planning songs for your ceremony and reception so easy. We cannot recommend Sounds Abound enough!

Michael Lang is the BEST!

Working in several different locations throughout the evening, Michael Lang set the mood for everything from our ceremony, to our happy hour, and eventually our reception! He kept the night moving with ease and there was never a dull moment. Expert Entertainers

Tony Ho helped make our big day even better! He was very nice and easy to communicate with. A couple of days before the wedding I started to get more and more nervous about how everything was going to run because of course every bride wants it to be perfect. I was sending multiple emails to Tony Ho to be sure everything was going to go as planned and he was so quick to respond with emails or a phone call. His confidence really helped me relax a bit in the days leading up to the wedding. He was very professional, easy going, and flexible. If we needed an announcement, he was quick to act. If we requested a certain song that wasn’t on our playlist, he found it and played it. He kept everyone on the dance floor and was a great overall entertainer from the beginning with the introductions to the closing song. He was so much fun and we could not have asked for a better DJ to take over a huge part of our big day! Everyone had a blast and we honestly can’t think of a single thing that went wrong and we think it’s partly because we had an awesome DJ!

We had the pleasure of working with Tony Ho a few weekends ago for our ceremony and reception. Tony was extremely proactive and took the time to talk through all the details of the day in advance with us. We were so thrilled with how organized and professional he was. We received so many compliments from guests that we had the best music selection/variety and dance floor. Phenomenal

We had the pleasure of working with Dj Tony Ho. He is phenomenal. I cannot express how stress free our experience with Tony was. He is very enthusiastic and extremely open and receptive to our input. He put together a great playlist that catered to both our Hispanic and Italian Heritage. we received tons of compliments about our reception from guests of all ages. Tony is the best. Tony Ho & Sounds Abound for the Win!

Tony Ho is everything you would want and need in a DJ! During our first meeting, he made us feel extremely comfortable, showing a deep interest in the beginnings of our relationship and the journey leading up to our special day. He was very professional, friendly, and helped make our vision (regardless of any special idea we had that veered from the norm) come to life. His services provided the soundtrack to our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Sounds Abound's online planner was a fantastic offering that helped to ease our Type A personalities and Tony Ho put in every effort to seek out any songs not found in the music library, as well as come to our event prepared with our music taste in mind. He brought a one-of-a-kind energy, actively reading the room and responding to the energy of our guests, and highlighted the important moments through his talents. Tony did a wonderful job keeping us on our pre-discussed timeline and was flexible if anything needed to be adjusted on the fly. He was also collaborative with our other vendors to ensure that our celebration was nothing but perfection. Lastly, Sounds Abound was great to work with in the midst of the pandemic and multiple date changes we faced. We would highly recommend Tony Ho to be your DJ for your special event and would encourage you to highly consider the colored uplighting and Social Booth photobooth add-ons. Our guests were raving about the beauty and extra layer of fun these both brought to the party! You will not regret working with Tony Ho and Sounds Abound!
