Immaculate vibes throughout the entire day!
We were recommended Soundwave for our wedding planner. One of our priorities for our wedding day was a good DJ & MC. We wanted the music to set the vibe throughout the ceremony, the cocktail hour, we wanted people to start signing during dinner, and of course bring the dance moves on the dancefloor at the end of the night. We got married this Fall of September 2024 and we are so happy Sound Wave Events was our DJ. We got matched with DJ Isa who we immediately connected with. He was easy to get along with and a welcoming guy. He understood our relationship with music and especially the music we chose. We definitely bonded over music genres and he executed our day wonderfully especially as an MC. Lani was our main point of contact answering all our questions and offering to be our support if we needed assistance with anything to the wedding. She was efficient, kind and responsive to our emails. We used several services of theirs and it led us to have a discount. Overall, a well-rounded team with outstanding care to our special day. Sound Wave Events was the perfect choice for my daughter's wedding. They ran the show in such a fun and professional way. After our planning meetings and personal choices were made, they ran a flawless ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party including lighting, draping a room for a dance party and awesome music, of course! Wow! I could not speak higher of this company. From the moment we contacted them, to the moment our event was finished, they proved why they are the best in Boise. Lani was so kind and responsive! She checked in and communicated with us throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. Ricky was our DJ, he really listened to our wants/needs and made our event the party we were hoping for! On top of this he was so friendly and always had a smile on his face. Our second DJ, Kim, was so sweet and even sent me some pictures/videos she took. Our wedding music experience with Soundwave was fantastic! I could not recommend Sound Wave enough! Lani was incredible to work with leading up to the wedding - always quick to reply and super friendly. Ricky was our DJ and I also could not recommend him enough - request him if you can! We met with him ahead of our wedding and went over our vibe, specific song requests, he even let us create our own playlists for different parts of the evening (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing). DJ Ricky lead the dance party of my dreams
Soundwave went above and beyond to ensure our wedding music experience was exactly what we wanted. The thing I wanted the most for our wedding was an epic dance party at the end of the night and our DJ, Ricky delivered just that. We didn’t give him a ton of guidance for the late night music but once people were on the dance floor he played music to keep the party going. The dancing got WILD and Ricky did an incredible job picking up the vibe and mixing in requests seamlessly. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and our guests had an amazing time. Soundwave’s team is also super helpful and responsive when it comes to planning and leading up to your big day. They are super detail oriented and do not miss a thing.

Hands down the best DJ company. Aside from our wedding planner, Sound Wave was ON TOP of their stuff and was one of the few vendors we had that consistently reached out to us with questions, helpful tips, and honest/genuine check ins. Leading up to the wedding, Sound Wave was NEVER a concern of mine in terms of showing up late, having to email them a bunch, or not being communicative. They went above and beyond for my special day and I can't recommend them enough!
Shoutout to Lani who was the primary point of contact for us. As a fellow bride herself during that time, she was so genuine in understanding the struggles and stress of planning a wedding and was more than happy to offer helpful tips and lend a shoulder to cry on if needed.
Second shoutout to our DJ Ricky who was INCREDIBLE. The vibes on our big day were off the charts and there wasn't a moment during the night where people were not dancing. After meeting with him and describing the kind of night we wanted, oh boy did he deliver!

Sound Wave Events & Cesar, our DJ, were FANTASTIC to work with! Hiring them for our daughter's wedding may have been the best decision we made - and we made a lot. Our meetings with Cesar put us at ease & helped us with SO many details, many we wouldn't have thought of - we even ended up hiring them to do the lighting and that was a load off our hands. I wasn't sure about the necessity of having two DJs but turns out it made a huge difference - made things go smoothly, no gaps in music or announcements. It was perfect. Sound Wave was very quick to respond to questions and provided good suggestions as we planned everything out with them. They have experienced professionals who really know how to throw a fun party. They knew exactly what the bride & groom wanted and delivered, 100%! It was money well spent and I highly recommend them.

The greatest!
We worked with Cesar for our wedding in June and can't recommend him enough! He helped our day run seamlessly, made the toast-givers feel comfortable, and kept the dance floor going. Many of our guests remarked it was the best wedding music they'd heard.
Communication with the Sound Wave team leading up to the event was also excellent, they kept us informed at every step of the way and worked with us to make sure our music taste was incorporated throughout the night.

We can not recommend Sound Wave Events enough!! Planning a wedding isn’t always the easiest but when it came to planning this part of the day with them, from all the zoom calls to the actual day, it was nothing short of amazing! We were lucky enough to have Nate as our DJ; he was awesome! He was so knowledgeable in not only what music to play for each part of the day, but he also knew exactly how the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception should run. Oh and everyone danced!! We went from no dancing to non stop!
I am so happy I went with Soundwave as our DJ. We had Talon who was a blast. Our group of people weren't much of dancers, bridge and groom included, and by the end of the night and with our trusy friend Mr. Open Bar, we were all out dancing having a good time! Seriously, my husband and I went into the venue that morning like 'we only have to do two dances' and we somehow ended up giving each other lap dances and closing out the venue! It was such a blast! Talon worked some serious magic. On top of that, their whole planning team was so easy to work with. With good ol' covid19, we couldn't do in person meetings for a while but they helped us do phone meetings, even with our horrible schedule, they made it work. It was so easy to book and plan with them and Talon kept the reception running smoothly and on schedule! Thank you so much!

Wow! How do I even describe the phenomenal job done by SoundWave! Well I just have to say that they were out of this world incredible. Nick and Jensen were awesome!! The best Wedding DJ's hands down
As a wedding photographer myself, I see so many different vendors. The second I got engaged, I knew I wanted to hire Soundwave for my own wedding. They were above and beyond anything we could have ever wanted in wedding DJ's. They were super helpful throughout the planning process: They gave song suggestions, timeline suggestions and even accommodated some special requests including combining two songs for the dance with my dad, adding a snippet of a lullaby to the end of the mother/groom dance and assisting my maid and matron of honor with a getting the music set up for their surprise rap/speech. On the wedding day, our DJ (Tallon) was prompt, professional and FUN! He helped to make sure out timeline ran smoothly and even led some line dances! We had so many people compliment the music selection at our wedding. Truly, hiring sound wave was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process! Fun and entertaining
While Sound Wave ended up not djing our wedding thanks to Covid-19 drastically changing it from 75-100 people to just our parents and siblings, they were still so awesome to work with up until the change that I wanted to write them a review. Carley and Talon were so kind, informative, easy going and fun we actually looked forward to speaking with them. They have so many suggestions for each little detail of a wedding you can imagine and want to make sure the bride and groom have everything they could imagine and want. They were incredibly professional but still down to earth and genuine people. Even when we cancelled with them the week before our wedding they were so kind and understanding and said to let them know if there was anything they could do to help. We will definitely be using them if we ever get the opportunity to again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining djs.

Wedding DJ
Soundwave really made our wedding experience. Not only were they so helpful with the entire planning process but they made our night truly so special. Lenny was our DJ and I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and his performance as our DJ all the way around. The entire Soundwave team was amazing and our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without them. I would highly recommend them to every bride.

If you aren’t sure if you want a DJ or a live band... SOUND WAVE EVENTS IS A LIFE SAVER
Sound Wave Events is so much more than a DJ service- they are the whole package. With meet and greet meetings beforehand they help plan the event, they offer decorations from lighting to dance floors and they have the smoothest day of coordination I have seen from any wedding yet. Every employee at Sound Wave Events is warm and friendly and goes above and beyond to make every stage of planning manageable- which was a HUGE plus for a stressed out bridezilla. Not being sure that I even wanted a DJ, these guys made it worth it in so many ways and I would use them in a heartbeat for any other event I plan.

Soundwave was great!
Corden and the Soundwave team we’re absolutely amazing. We had to change venues a month out from the wedding day, and they worked with us so well being so flexible as the needs changed with the new venue. All the correspondence I received from Carley was always very positive and helpful, and working with Corden was super easy. He was fun to work with and the wedding day went off without a hitch. We were very happy with Soundwave!

Sound Wave Events is the Perfect Wedding Addition!
After talking to a couple other local DJs (and debating if we even needed one), we met with Sound Wave Events, and right away they felt like the perfect fit. Lenny was our DJ, and from that first meeting, his personality meshed with ours. He seemed in tune with the vibe and music we were looking for (without us having to put together a playlist or give much guidance). Leading up to our wedding, Carley was there for us, prompt about communication, and easy to get in touch with.
At our wedding with Lenny and Cesar there, it felt more like having a friend around (who just happened to be taking care of all the music and the night's transitions) than a vendor. Lenny checked in with us a couple times but only to see how we were doing; he took care of his parts seamlessly. Our guests loved the music, with several asking us for Sound Wave's information so they could have them at their wedding or event.
All in all an awesome experience and one of the best choices we made for our wedding. We were so glad to have Lenny and Sound Wave there!

Large wedding

Made our Wedding the PERFECT party!
Sound Wave was a DREAM to work with. Easy communication, lots of information sent to us for planning and helping with our music choices, and Toby (though now sadly retired) made our wedding night the everyone-on-the-dance-floor party we were hoping for! Best DJ in Idaho
We are thrilled with Soundwave. JT was our DJ and helped us with more than just music. Soundwave essentially acted as a day of coordinator/wedding planner throughout the process and we couldn't recommend them enough. JT really understood the flow of a wedding from start to finish and was ready willing and able to help with anything we threw his way. I would strongly recommend using Soundwave for your wedding/event as they will provide way more than just music/lighting/etc. Having a professional who understands the big picture and goes above and beyond to help you execute it is priceless and hard to come by! Not to mentioned they worked seamlessly with both our venue and all of the other vendors. They listened to everything we did/did not want and on the day of I felt like I could go to JT with any needs/requests and they would be handled. Soundwave was worth every penny and we are so thrilled with our decision to use them for our wedding!

Top-knotch - Soundwave is amazing!
Choosing Sound Wave Events for our wedding was an absolutely no-brainer. We had already heard great things about them and their services, and had experienced it first hand at a couple of our friends' weddings!
Carley was super helpful and responded so quickly anytime we had a small change, or questions about day-of coordination details in the months leading up to our wedding. And the day of, Calvin and our other DJ did an incredible job! The easily ebbed and flowed with our guests (had moments that were more laid back vs people dancing a ton), and Calvin worked seamlessly with my event coordinator to ensure the whole day went smoothly without a hitch. I'm a major perfectionist, and Sound Wave completely exceeded my expectations - thank you guys for all your hard work!!!

Sound Waves knows how to party
We recently used Talon at Sound Wave events for our wedding, and I can't recommend him enough! We discovered him through one of our vendors, and knew we wanted him for our wedding.We met with Talon twice before the wedding to review details, timelines, playlists, and more - and he was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. He did a great job with intros and announcements, he played all of the obscure songs I asked him to (and then some!) and had everyone dancing the whole time. He helped me work with my vendor to make sure all of the various timelines aligned perfectly, so I never had to worry on my wedding day since everything was planned out to the tiniest detail. More than just a DJ
We had Talon as our DJ. He was professional, confirmed how to pronounce everyone’s names correctly and the timeline for speeches, songs, etc. he was easy to work with and flexible. He kept the party going and there wasn’t a dull moment.
Going through all the documentation/timeline seemed tedious but I’m so glad we did it!! It helped us run through the day smoothly and we ended up using that timeline to coordinate with our photographer and videographer. He played all the songs we selected and the night went without any hiccups. Both my kids had performances and he was there to help them through it. Very happy we went with Sound Waves

Talon was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for at our wedding! Do not go with any other DJ service than Soundwave- you will not be disappointed. From the second we inquired the whole process was extremely smooth, professional, fun and easy. They have such a variety to offer! The music could not have been better we received so many compliments on how awesome the DJs were. Talon really listened to what we wanted and the vibe we wanted to set. He kept the wedding on the timeline and kept the energy up throughout the whole night!

When picking a DJ for our wedding we had no idea where to begin but had seen so many amazing reviews about Soundwaves. They live up to every positive review they have! They provided the sound for our ceremony and then throughout the entire reception, keeping the dance floor full all the way from beginning to end. But they do so much more than that. We used Sound Wave Events for not only our DJ, but also our photo booth guest book and dance floor. We couldn’t have asked for a better vendor!! Not only did Soundwaves help along the way with my decisions and any issues that arose, but they were super responsive and delivered custom and amazing service up to, and the day of the wedding. Corden is a phenomenal DJ and person and really helped the evening flow smoothly, he also played amazing music. Carley truly helped us decide on particulars and execute any of those decisions. I am so happy we chose Sound Wave Event to DJ our wedding. Right from the start Carley was so nice and easy to work with. She was there to help and answer any questions that we may have had through the planning process. They were so easy to work with and also very understanding when we needed to reschedule an appointment. We really liked how they go over every little detail of your wedding and make sure they know exactly what you are wanting. On our wedding day Corden was awesome! Sound Wave is amazing! We had music, photo booth and lighting all provided by them. Everyone we worked with at Sound Wave was friendly, helpful and wonderful. We chose what pictures to use as our backgrounds for our photo booth and our guests had so much fun choosing the different backgrounds. Talon- our DJ, was great to work with from our first meeting with him to the end of the night of our wedding. He made sure everything went smoothly and that the evening was fun and moved along (no awkward standing around). He's got incredible excitement that shines through and you can tell he loves what he's doing! My father in law is still raving about how much fun and what a great party it was. I was able to feel relaxed and enjoy my wedding reception thanks to Sound Wave.

Sound Wave really made our wedding very special! We don't think we could have pulled it off without them. They were so amazing to work with, and Carly was so good about checking in often and making sure all the little details were taken care of.
The best thing about this company is their attention to detail. They do more than DJ, they really help the flow of the entire wedding and made it run very smoothly. Our DJ, Patrick, was so funny and had the guests entertained from the moment the wedding started.
They also provided our uplighting and twinkle lighting, which really helped set the mood of the event, and they installed them all themselves.
This company was a bit more expensive than others, but SOOO well worth it. I would recommend anyone use Sound Wave for any event ever!!

Wow, let's get this party started! Should be their tag line. The BEST at reading your guests to determine "their JAM" and THE best at working with the coordinator to keep the timeline flowing and the Bride and Groom comfortable. This is the most professional team you can choose. They also offer a tremendous light set up, specialty dance floors, unique back drops, and did I mention amazing lighting services! Highly recommend!

Excellent Service from Start to Finish
We absolutely loved working with Soundwave as our DJ and for our photobooth. We had attended a few weddings that Soundwave was at, and always appreciated their professionalism and the energy their DJ's brought to the party. As we began planning our own wedding, we met with Soundwave first and didn't even bother meeting with anyone else! Corden was so personable and professional, and the scheduling process was so easy. We loved the personal interest they took in our wedding, and how they were willing to do anything to make it special and unique for us. We loved how Soundwave was a "one stop shop" offering DJ services, lighting, photo booth, dance floor, etc. It made it so much easier working with one company for all of those details.
The day of the wedding came, and nothing changed! The guys showed up on time, were very professional, and took great care of us on the wedding day. They look sharp, their setup is very professional looking, and they sure know how to keep the party going! Having someone there to MC the wedding that does it professionally makes all the difference in the world. They make it so fun, but also work hard to maintain order and keep the evening flowing well. Our guests loved the photo booth and it is such a fun way to document the memories of the evening. We would work with Soundwave again in a heartbeat, and are so glad we made the right decision!

We had such a great experience with Sound Wave Events. From our first meeting to the wedding day the whole team was friendly, professional and easy to work with. Best day ever!
With us living in Dallas and having our BIG day in McCall, ID, picking out vendors was really tough... We could only go off of the recommendation of our wedding planner (who thank goodness knew what she was talking about). The minute we met with Sound Wave, we knew they were going to be amazing! Carly was a DREAM to work with... so attentive, kind and patient! :) She walked us through everything and made sure we did our part to ensure they provided us the most AMAZING experience. Talon FAR exceeded our expectations! I mean, WOW! My mind was blown, still is. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company! They were such a HUGE part of why our wedding was legit the BEST and MOST FUN wedding Shore Lodge has ever seen :)

You MUST hire Sound Wave!
All around, we had the most amazing experience with Sound Wave from start to finish! I was very impressed with our initial meeting with them. Right away you can tell they know what they're doing and are very organized. It's also very convenient that they offer more than just DJ services but also lighting, dance floor, draping installations, and most custom requests. You name it and they'll work with you! Through out the planning process, communication was excellent. Carley is just the sweetest. And we absolutely adored our DJ Corden! He was so much fun and knew how to keep the flow of our wedding night going. Often times people underestimate the importance of a DJ and the company they work with but in reality the DJ is one of the most important vendors. They can make or break your guests wedding experience. So do yourself a favor and MAKE that experience by hiring Sound Wave!

They were amazing!
I got married in June in Cascade and soundwaves was absolutely amazing. We used them for our photobooth and DJ. Talon was amazing, he had everyone at the wedding on the dance floor. Everyone had so much fun in the photobooth. They supplied great props and the pictures turned out perfect! My husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything! Would highly recommend soundwaves for any event.

truly the best experience we had with any of our wedding vendors, growing up dancing my whole life it was super important to me that we had an incredible dj and Talon was nothing short of incredible. We loved working with Soundwave!
My husband and I booked Soundwave for our September wedding this year (2018), and if we could give them 100 stars, we would! Carley, Corden and the rest of the Soundwave team went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! They were timely with emails and phone calls leading up to our big day, they were always professional and fun to work with leading up and on the day of. When it came to the day of, Corden rolled with the punches as our venue timeline changed and made sure the entire day flowed smoothly, he made sure the transitions between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception all went seamlessly. I haven’t even touched on the actual DJ and music part yet! By the time it was ready to party, Corden pumped up the volume and we danced the rest of the night away. It was the best day, and I have full confidence in saying that it wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without Corden and the Soundwave crew! Thank you guys so much for everything!! If you are looking into them as a vendor for your upcoming event, I highly, highly recommend!! :)

Carley was great to work with while helping us plan our daughter's wedding. We rented the dance floor and some lighting accents for the venue we chose. The lighting she helped us select made a huge difference in transforming the venue. Carley also knew our budget and helped us stay on Budget. We hired Soundwave for our daughters wedding and it was the best choice we made. Every member of their team we worked with was phenomenal. Carly is excellent. All aspects of the ceremony and reception were covered. I felt instantly at ease upon meeting Steve our DJ to go over the agenda and I left knowing we were in good hands. His professional, upbeat personality and ability to tune in to our individual needs was outstanding. The day turned out perfect! Hands down the best DJ & wedding services! They are reasonably priced and very professional. From remaining in constant contact, organizing all fine details for you and being the life of the party. We wish they traveled to California because our friends raves about how amazing Steve and his team were. Sound Wave is an EXCELLENT vendor for your event! I hired them for my wedding and I am very, very glad. They went out of their way to make planning easy, to accommodate our event space and our needs. They are beyond professional, arriving on time and executing their services flawlessly. We ordered lighting, a DJ and the photo booth; our DJ (JT) was absolutely phenomenal, we had a blast and an amazing dance party. The photo booth was incredibly fun and the lighting looked perfect. These guys were so great! They helped out with so many things and were so helpful! They helped with many things and kept in contact with us every step of the way. They helped with the thank you speech from bride/ groom. They played great music and helped keep the party going all night! Our DJ Lenny did an absolutely amazing job DJing our wedding. He was so professional, helpful and checked in with me and my groom constantly during the event to ensure that we were doing okay and that we were enjoying everything. He really went above and beyond to make us feel confident in our ceremony and reception. His music choices were also always on par and he picked up cues from me and my groom and the audience very well. I would highly recommend him and this DJ company to anyone I meet. We used Sound Wave Events for our photobooth at our wedding. Carley was super accommodating, laid back and efficient. The photobooth itself was run super well - the photo quality was great, staff was fun and we had plenty of copies of everything to enjoy. We upgraded to the wedding guest sign in book too, which was a good choice. It's fun to see what people wrote next to their photos!

I loved working with Sound Wave Events! Carly was so responsive and flexible, I had to change my reception timeline a few days before the wedding and she made all the changes with no problems. Our D.J Talon was such a blessing, he kept us calm and basically ran our reception. He was so fun and entertaining; my husband and I got tons of compliments about our choice in D.J/entertainment. We absolutely loved Sound Wave! They were so flexible with our schedule when it was time to start planning! Carley always e-mailed us back in a timely matter! Talon was the best! I have to admit - I'm not much of a "Wedding DJ" kind of girl and neither is my husband. If we had an unlimited budget, we really would have loved a live band - BUT - I have to admit, EVERYONE, including ourselves, was happy with SoundWave Events! We had a super fun wedding and it couldn't have happened without these guys! Steve and his assistant went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and kept the groom and myself in check throughout the entire night, making sure everything happened on time! Our guests are still going on and on about how much fun they had and how great the music was! These guys are worth every penny!

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and used Sound Wave to set up our dance floor and outdoor lighting. Originally, we were hesitant to even have them set up the lights over the lawn, because it stays so light in Boise during the summer; however, we're so glad we decided to do it! Even though the lights were only needed for an hour or so, they were still so beautiful! It made everything look very classy and just gorgeous!
Carley was awesome to work with and she even rearranged the set up/delivery time on the day of the wedding because our band needed to set up after the dance floor was put down. They were easy to work with and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved getting to work with Sound Wave! They were not only our DJs but they also worked on the design and overall feel of our wedding. They built a custom sail structure (we wanted something that offered shade but wasn't as enclosed as a traditional tent), they built our aisle over the pool for the ceremony, and handled all of our lighting (twinkle lights, uplighting, etc.).
They listened to us, were full of creativity, were so responsive, stayed respectful of our budget, and are just wonderful people to work with. Also, their insane DJ skills (and lasers and fog) made for the best dance party that didn't end until 2am. Adam, Kristin, Steve, Carley, and their entire team is the absolute best - we highly recommend them!
