We had a excellent experience with Sound Insight! Our DJ, Eric, was super accessible in the lead up to our wedding and was always willing to answer our questions or provide thoughts on our ideas.
Eric knocked it out of the park on our wedding day and did a great job not only with the music for the ceremony but also with our reception music. He kept the dance floor going for pretty much the entire reception, which is exactly what we had hoped for! We received so many compliments from our guests who said they had a blast and that it was one of the most fun weddings they attended!
Our special day would not have been the same without Eric’s contributions, and we could not recommend him highly enough to others! -

We are so glad that we hired Sound Insights to DJ our wedding! We knew as soon as we read the other reviews that we wanted to learn more, and our venue also highly recommended them. First off, the company is truly kind and professional. They always responded quickly and kindly. Even more impressive was that they automatically honored the price we were quoted even though we took a while to decide and didn’t until after they had updated the pricing for the coming year. We didn’t even have to ask or bring it up, and they reassured us that we shouldn’t feel pressured to make a decision for fear of the price changing. We hired Kris Plummer as our DJ, and it was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. He was so kind and easy to talk to and communicate with. He answered all of our questions and did a great job providing recommendations whenever we asked. The custom first dance and parent dance songs he made were wonderful, and we really appreciated how patient he was as we decided a lot of our songs at the last minute. On the day of, Kris handled all announcements and make sure we stayed on schedule while also keeping our dance floor packed all night! Everyone still talks about how amazing the music and DJ were. We could not recommend Kris and Sound Insights more! -

Oh my gosh!!! There aren’t enough words to describe our experience with Athens DJ— especially Ian!!! Ian was absolutely incredible! He met with my husband and I before the wedding to walk through exactly what we wanted and offered his own advice for fun and special touches to the night. The day of the wedding, Ian was amazing! It was storming and he was so flexible during the whole day while we were deciding between rain plans. Luckily it cleared up 30 minutes before the wedding and he was so amazing with moving everything around for the last minute change. During the reception, Ian mingled with all our guests and got an even greater idea of what to do to get everyone on the dance floor. He was so inclusive of all ages of our guests and was sooooo amazing about getting EVERYONE on the dance floor!! My husband and I have not stopped talking a month later about how blessed we were to get such a thoughtful and talented DJ. We highly, highly recommend Athens DJ and if possible get Ian!!! He will make your night one to remember forever!! -

No Exaggeration, Danced the Night Away!
Sound Insight was a dream to work with from start to finish. One of the big things we wanted to prioritize in our wedding was the music; we wanted it to be a big party! Sound Insight made our wedding into an event that everyone keeps talking about. Our guests and ourselves spent the entire night on the dance floor because the music was just that good!! Our DJ, Kris, knew exactly how to read the crowd and use his skills in live mixes to keep the crowd energized all night long. Plus, Kris did our sound for the live music in the ceremony and it went perfectly. I can’t recommend Sound Insight enough for any couple that wants their wedding to be an unforgettable night. -

An absolute MUST dream team for your wedding entertainment!! My husband and I knew from our first interaction with Sound Insights that that we were in good hands. Kris Plummer was incredible to work, from the very beginning. He got to know us (virtually) and tailored our music to our personal tastes throughout wedding ceremony, cocktail, and reception. He was truly a pro! We also hired the percussionist add-on.... IT WAS SO GOOD! It added a great live music element and was a huge hit. Our guests were of all ages (teens, mid 20s, middle aged adults, and seniors) and we had SO many people tell us it truly was the best wedding they've been to. From the music, the seamless flow of events, to professionalism, it was perfectly executed by Kris. Sound Insights truly invests into their bride and groom and makes the wedding day seamless and easy to package add-ons. If music/reception fun is at the top of your wedding priorities.... look no further! Take advantage of the packaged add-ons like selfie stand booth, up lighting, and percussionist. Thank you so much Kris and Sound Insights team for making our day truly the most amazing day :) -

What an incredible experience! We felt like family from the first meeting with the owner. He ensured us that he would find a DJ to meet our needs and NAILED IT. DJ Chris Anani was awesome! He helped create our reception timeline and communication was great. The reception was amazing. Guests had a blast and raved about the music. Chris kept the party going! I was already familiar with Sound Insight before we started wedding planning, and from everything I had experienced, there was no doubt that we wanted David to be our DJ. It also didn’t hurt that every venue we toured mentioned that David was the person to go with. We were NOT disappointed. We both felt like music was really important to us, and we wanted someone who could help create the party atmosphere we wanted. David was the perfect DJ for this; he really helped set the tone for every part of our wedding day. He had this really cool booth, he added lights when it was ‘party’ time, the sound was great, and he brought props! He was also way more than a DJ; he was an emcee that helped make everything flow so smoothly throughout the reception. And in the planning process, he was super organized. He understood exactly what our taste was, what kind of party we wanted, and even had suggestions for how to keep things flowing smoothly. There just so many extras with having David as our DJ. We loved having him there! -

Chris Anani blew away my expectations. I had heard from our other vendors that have worked with him in the past how great he is, but I wasn't convinced until he got our whole wedding reception up and dancing. The payment and contract signing were simple and easy. Chris met with us beforehand to make sure we had all the details straight. I appreciate the attention to detail! 10/10 would recommend. -

Please book this team for your wedding!!! Or any event really. David Osborne is an incredible person to work with. He was always timely, and always excited. He asked important questions and really gave us as much freedom as we wanted. The day of event was PERFECT. All of our wedding guests spent the entire night on the dance floor - it was packed. Literally everything we ever wanted. He was fun, funny, and knows how to throw a party. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. You will never regret booking Sound Insight!!! -

GA Wedding? You Must Hire DJ David
David Osborne DJ'd our wedding and absolutely shined. From the start, David was easy to work with. He laid out a clear plan, and then he was really accommodating and understanding when COVID forced us (and later continued to force us) to alter that plan. Leading up to the wedding, he communicated well and helped us finalize details. Then on the wedding day itself, he was fantastic. He executed the sound for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then he knocked it out of the park during the reception. David is incredibly personable, energetic, and good on his feet. He knows how to engage and cater music to any crowd he encounters. I strongly encourage anyone hiring David to just let him do his thing when it comes time to party--he mixed music live and tailored it to what the crowd wanted and needed. Everyone was really impressed and appreciated how much he kept the party going. He paced it well, too, and he knew exactly when to chime in to connect with the crowd. All around, we're really glad we hired David, and I strongly recommend him for any DJ'ing gig. He's versatile and will provide a great time no matter the setting. -

Our DJ Kris Plummer was such a joy to work with. Sound Insight was recommended by our venue (255 Milledge) and we booked DJ Kris for both our ceremony and reception. Kris was so helpful during the planning process and recommended songs for our ceremony based on our musical taste, plus provided multiple custom edits to choose from when we were deciding on ceremony music. He then did such a great job of keeping the reception moving smoothly and his playlist for dancing was energetic, mixed perfectly and so much fun. We danced the Jewish hora during our reception but most of our attendees were not familiar with the dance, so Kris went around to each table to explain the steps and cues in the song which I thought really exemplifies how much effort he puts into your event! We had so many of our guests tell us how awesome he was. Sound Insight was one of my favorite vendors from our wedding day, and you will absolutely enjoy working with them! -

We had a lot of last-minute changes with our reception because of COVID and Sound Insight saved the day. They were very easy to work with, flexible, and accommodating. Our DJ, Kris Plummer, knocked it out of the park with each song and turned our intimate dinner reception into a dance party. He also MC'd the reception so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you Kris for helping make our special day unforgettable! -

We hired David Osborne for our wedding as our ceremony and reception DJ, venue lighting, and event emceeing. We had the best experience working with him, and he made our wedding unforgettable!
From the beginning, David was excellent at communicating with us. He was quick to respond and answered all our questions. He also asked us all the right questions about what we wanted the atmosphere of the wedding to be like.
We were beyond thrilled with working with David on the actual day. I can tell you that he truly listened to our song requests and music preferences, mixing in both my and my husband’s favorites. During dinner, our guests were already singing and dancing. And then when the dance floor opened up, everybody danced all night long to his live mixes. Multiple friends and family members complimented us on our DJ both during and after the wedding saying that he was best DJ they have ever heard - and even asked for his availability for events all around the country! -

Above and beyond service
We had the best experience ever with David Osborne (DJ) and Side Hustle Band!!! David was so helpful with wedding planning details along the way (totally above and beyond the job description!!). Side Hustle played a variety of tunes (the vocals.. just WOW!!!) and were SO entertaining! Our guests non-stop text me the days following our wedding to ask for the name of our band to share with friends! When all things wedding planning can be so stressful, it was TOO easy working with David and his amazing team! He has an answer to every silly question and gave us the best entertainment advice along the way! We are beyond grateful for David and Side Hustle Band making our wedding night so perfect! -

We originally contacted Sound Insight hoping to book a DJ, but they were already booked for our date. We then went to the Athens Wedding Experience and heard the Musicsmiths play and knew we wanted them for our ceremony music! You can do a couple different combinations of instruments for various prices (guitar, flute, cello), and we chose to stick with the original duo option of guitar and flute. We emailed David, the owner of Sound Insight, and he was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. He got us in touch with Natalie of the Musicsmiths. She was also very responsive and so flexible. We had a couple of odd song requests, such as the theme from Austin Powers, and she said it was no problem to do. While I only got to hear a couple of songs since I was downstairs in the chapel, after the ceremony people were RAVING about the music. Everything was so lovely and they did such a great job. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!! -

David and his team truly went above and beyond in making our wedding day perfect. They helped us tackle the planning process to make the timeline of events perfect, listened to our likes and dislikes to put together a reception that truly captured who we were as a couple, and made sure everything was seamless for our wedding from beginning to end. Our friends and family truly can’t stop talking about how amazing our DJ and the Sound Insight team was, and we can’t either!! We could not recommend Sound Insight strongly enough. They are rock stars and you absolutely want them for your wedding!!

David is the best, simply put. Before our wedding, he met with us to go over a timeline of the day and to get a feel for our musical tastes and recommendations. Not only was he was a huge help as the MC of the evening and an all around great crowd-pleaser, but he met with our family member that was helping to coordinate the ceremony to make sure walking queues, mics, and readings were all timed perfectly. Initially, we hadn't any clue how much a DJ would cost for our wedding, but after going to a few other weddings, we definitely decided we needed to go for the best. David was very attentive to our needs before and during the wedding, not only making sure to keep us on track with our schedule, but also was very flexible and relaxed with minor changes that took place. The music was phenomenal, as well as the lighting they provided. David was able to play the crowd and have us all on the dance floor for the entire night. Everyone that attended our wedding spoke very highly of him, his talents, and some have even considered him for their own events. -

David and his crew are so attentive, responsive, and easy to work with. They will plan for everything- even details I had never thought of. Side Hustle is a phenomenal group of musicians/entertainers- they don’t just play music, they bring the party! All of our guests enjoyed our reception so much, and everyone wanted to know about the band. If you want people tearing it up on the dance floor, you want Side Hustle!

While preparing for the wedding, he met with us and discussed ideas for our wedding based on us a couple. For example, he shared the idea of doing a receiving line at our buffet to give us as much time as possible to greet everyone and enjoy the wedding reception. Throughout the evening, he communicated with us and our other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. The music and atmosphere that he created for our wedding fit us as a couple, and created truly memorable moments on the dance floor with our family and friends. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone tying the knot! -
