Where to even begin on our fairytale wedding!
We got married on Wednesday 28th August 2024 at the Belmond Caruso Hotel in Ravello on the Amalfi coast, Italy.
From our first call with Victoria from Sophisticated Wedding Italy, I knew she was the one we needed to plan our wedding.
Victoria is so kind, passionate and just an all round lovely, lovely person. She guided us through every detail and made the whole process a breeze. She communicated with all of the (best) vendors, gave us lots of options, support and ideas when it came to planning our perfect day. She’s supper easy to work with, professional, highly organised and was extremely accommodating to our videos calls (us being in the USA and her being in Italy and a 7 hour time difference) and answered all of our questions on email and my voice notes on what’s app! Her attention to detail is incredible, she’s a perfectionist.
The team are a credit to her, Lucian and Melina were highly professional, super friendly and really helped the day run smoothly. Lucian was so helpful with my 2 year old daughter, she kept me informed of the time and schedule whilst we were getting ready.
People say that planning a wedding is one of the most stressful things you can do, well all I can say is that they had the wrong planner! Victoria and her team made everything so easy and seamless, she listened to our vision and made it come to life, it was everything we could have imagined and more. We’ll be forever grateful for her, our fairy godmother, angel and now friend. -

I can’t recommend Victoria and her team enough, they were exceptional throughout! The dedication, knowledge and passion transformed our dream into a reality that far surpassed anything we could have imagined. From the outset, Vic took the time to listen, offer invaluable suggestions, and guided us through the process with expertise and warmth. The deep knowledge of the local area, vendors and venues was evident in every detail. We never once felt stressed or overwhelmed, even though we were planning from afar. The communication was flawless, keeping us updated every step of the way.
On the day of the wedding, everything flowed seamlessly. Our guests absolutely loved the day, we received countless compliments on how perfectly orchestrated everything was. It was a day filled with love, laughter and un forgettable moments, all thanks to Vic and her team.
If you’re wanting a wedding in Italy that is as perfect as it is personal then go for it – Vic turned our dreams into a reality, and we will be forever grateful for the memories both her, Lucina and Roberto helped us create. They truly are the best in the business, and we cannot recommend them enough. K&A Xx -

We’re still on a high from our amazing wedding in Sorrento, made possible by the wonderful Victoria and the Sophisticated Weddings team! Throughout the whole process, Victoria was more than a wedding planner - it was like working with a friend. She’s so kind, reassuring, patient, and professional. She kept everything in check, making sure we were meeting deadlines and booking what we needed within good time. On the day, everything was taken care of and set up just as I’d imagined and how I’d hoped for - I didn’t lift a finger which felt unnatural (control freak here) but I was at ease knowing Victoria and Lucina were on the case. It all looked stunning! Lucina was so supportive and sweet in getting me from the suite and down the aisle, she really helped ease my nerves! I really couldn’t have asked for more and I’m so grateful. Would highly recommend -

Wedding of our Dreams!
Sophisticated Weddings are outstanding and created the wedding of dreams! Victoria’s dedication, attention to detail, guidance and expertise made the planning process so enjoyable, easy and exciting for us! Not to mention how organised, calm and supportive she was on the day of the wedding!
We can’t thank Victoria enough for your professionalism, patience and kindness, and for brining our wedding vision to life! Everything was beyond perfect; the flowers, the music, the food and drinks, the views, the decor, the villa’s hospitality - there is absolutely nothing we would change about the day and wish we could do it ALL again 💗
Victoria has the most wonderful team and suppliers, and we could not be more grateful to everyone that was involved in making our wedding as beautiful as it was. They were all incredible and so kind.
Our guests had the most incredible and special day, and we have received nothing but amazing compliments and feedback so thank you again. -

Victoria and her team were incredible from start to finish! We could not recommend them enough.
We got married in Sorrento on the 5th May 2024 and we had meetings with Victoria both online and in person prior to the day. We could tell that the venues and suppliers that we worked with really valued Victoria and the team at SW.
Victoria offers an incredible bespoke service, with great contacts across Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, we had no doubt we were in very capable hands. Victoria offered everything; from the logistical planning of our menu tasting, night before dinner, transfers for guests, to offering her genuine support when issues arose and plans changed. She was always available and incredibly patient and understanding!
On the day itself Victoria and Lucina ensured that the day ran perfectly, with some of our favourite moments being influenced by their recommendations. Our guests all commented on how fantastic they were and we know that the day would not have been the same without them. We could never thank them enough for helping us to create our absolute dream wedding day! X -

Where do I start, not only did Victoria organise the most amazing wedding for us but I also gained a friend from the process. Our day was so special for us and each and everyone of our guests. From start to finish Victoria was approachable, extremely efficient and her communication is spot on, and she listened, her advice was always appreciated, as she is the technical expert on organising weddings…… I cannot put into words what an incredible experience it was working with Victoria, my advice is let her do her thing as she is amazing and your wedding will by beautiful. -

Victoria is a fabulous wedding planner
Words cannot describe how magical our wedding day was in the beautiful location of Massa Lubrense. We chose Victoria after looking at her website and reviews and we’re so happy we did.
Victoria was amazing from the start. We had an initial zoom meeting to discuss our ideas, budget and style. Victoria knew exactly what we had in mind and worked with us and the venue on securing our date. Once the date was set, Victoria was able to start organising all the other services we required and had so many choices of photographers, make up artists, florists etc. Victoria sent us their portfolio work or links to their social media profiles so that we could review who we liked best.
I was expecting organising a wedding abroad to be stressful, however there was no stress as Victoria had taken care of everything. We were dreading completing all the legal paperwork, but again, Victoria sent us all the details we needed to get this complete smoothly. Once we got closer, to the day, Victoria had the itinerary of the day and all the payment information required in a spreadsheet. Every small detail was included.
We finally met Victoria and her lovely husband for the pre wedding meeting two days before the wedding. We completed the relevant paperwork at the town hall and she kindly helped us get all our wedding pieces to the venue and dropped us back to our hotel.
On the day of the wedding Victoria and her assistant Lee were amazing. Lee came to my hotel and calmly helped sew the button back on my dress 10 minutes before we were due to go to the ceremony!
Victoria is a perfectionist and made sure everything ran perfectly. I would highly recommend Victoria if anyone is planning a wedding in Sorrento or Amalfi Coast. Thank you again for the most magical day of our lives. -

The best of the best Wedding Planner ✨
We just had our special wedding day on the 1st of August 2023 in Relais Blu, Massa Lubrense Italy. Victoria really is truly amazing. She is very professional and really made feel relaxed and calm about our wedding from the very beginning. We never could have had this day without her. It was just indescribable. Everything went to plan and Vic had excellent communication skills … always promptly emailing and messaging back and fourth. Nothing was any trouble. She went above and beyond for both Jamie and I, even picking us up to take us to our pre-wedding day and we cannot thank her enough for our spectacular wedding day… a day we will remember forever. ❤️ If you are looking for a lovely and very reliable wedding planner please please book Victoria. I cannot explain how incredible she is as a professional and as a person. ✨ -

Amazing Wedding Planner
Our July wedding in Ravello was an absolute dream and would not have been possible were it not for Victoria and her fantastic team at Sophisticated Weddings!
We could not thank them enough for all their support and really making our vision for our Wedding Day a reality.
Victoria was always on hand no matter the time and really made the wedding planning experience a breeze!
Together we arranged an unforgettable 3 day event for our guests at the most amazing locations, all thanks to Victoria.
I would highly recommend Sophisticated Weddings to anyone looking to plan their Italian wedding.

A dream day organised and brought together by Victoria & her wonderful team. A month after our wedding and we are still in awe. The best amalfi coast planner!
Victoria and everyone at at Sophisticated weddings were absolutely incredible! Everyone told me that the wedding planning process (especially internationally) would be stressful. It wasn’t in the slightest! They made everything feel so effortless. Victoria is incredible and I if you are thinking of having a wedding in the amalfi coast don’t look any further for a wedding planner! It will be the best decision you make! -

Absolutely amazing!
Well where do I even start! Victoria and her team are amazing, I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I knew I had found the right wedding planner from the very first meeting! So friendly, quick to laugh and warm in her approach put us complete at ease. People told me that organising a wedding was really stressful, but I actually didn’t experience that because Victoria and her team took all the stress out of it and left us with all the bits that were thoroughly enjoyable. Victoria has an incredible way to understand what you want to achieve and is a pleasure to work with. Speaking English and Italian fluently, she has excellent contacts/ recommendations which saved us hours of research and time, always quick to respond, super organised and a fellow spreadsheet fan 😊
Victoria was so supportive when it came to all aspects of the legal ceremony (we chose to legally marry in Italy) and helped us navigate the process, nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day, Victoria and Lucina were on hand all day to make sure everything ran smoothly – Victoria at the Cloisters and Lucina in our hotel room whilst hair and make-up etc were being done. We honestly couldn’t have done it without Victoria – she’s nothing short of incredible.
I cannot recommend Sophisticated Weddings highly enough to anyone thinking of planning a wedding on the Amalfi Coast and want to do it all over again!

I did so much research and met so many planners but none listened the way Victoria did or were as warm as she was. She truly made the entire experience stress free and fun. She shared the excitement with us and made the experience truly special. I’m so thankful I had her to make my vision come to life. Everything was perfect…from the welcome dinner to the wedding to the farewell brunch! I truly couldn’t have asked for better. I wish I could do it all over again. Victoria and her team are absolutely brilliant, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! They took all the stress out of planning our wedding, leaving us with all the enjoyable and happy parts... Victoria was also very quick to respond to any questions we had and always "understood the assignment" to a tee! We didn't have to worry about researching our own florists, musicians, makeup artists etc as Victoria has all of her own contacts / recommendations which saved us so much time. Our wedding was just spectacular, and we couldn't have done it without Sophisticated Weddings Italy. Thank you! -
