Where do I start, not only did Victoria organise the most amazing wedding for us but I also gained a friend from the process. Our day was so special for us and each and everyone of our guests. From start to finish Victoria was approachable, extremely efficient and her communication is spot on, and she listened, her advice was always appreciated, as she is the technical expert on organising weddings…… I cannot put into words what an incredible experience it was working with Victoria, my advice is let her do her thing as she is amazing and your wedding will by beautiful. -

Victoria is a fabulous wedding planner
Words cannot describe how magical our wedding day was in the beautiful location of Massa Lubrense. We chose Victoria after looking at her website and reviews and we’re so happy we did.
Victoria was amazing from the start. We had an initial zoom meeting to discuss our ideas, budget and style. Victoria knew exactly what we had in mind and worked with us and the venue on securing our date. Once the date was set, Victoria was able to start organising all the other services we required and had so many choices of photographers, make up artists, florists etc. Victoria sent us their portfolio work or links to their social media profiles so that we could review who we liked best.
I was expecting organising a wedding abroad to be stressful, however there was no stress as Victoria had taken care of everything. We were dreading completing all the legal paperwork, but again, Victoria sent us all the details we needed to get this complete smoothly. Once we got closer, to the day, Victoria had the itinerary of the day and all the payment information required in a spreadsheet. Every small detail was included.
We finally met Victoria and her lovely husband for the pre wedding meeting two days before the wedding. We completed the relevant paperwork at the town hall and she kindly helped us get all our wedding pieces to the venue and dropped us back to our hotel.
On the day of the wedding Victoria and her assistant Lee were amazing. Lee came to my hotel and calmly helped sew the button back on my dress 10 minutes before we were due to go to the ceremony!
Victoria is a perfectionist and made sure everything ran perfectly. I would highly recommend Victoria if anyone is planning a wedding in Sorrento or Amalfi Coast. Thank you again for the most magical day of our lives. -

The best of the best Wedding Planner ✨
We just had our special wedding day on the 1st of August 2023 in Relais Blu, Massa Lubrense Italy. Victoria really is truly amazing. She is very professional and really made feel relaxed and calm about our wedding from the very beginning. We never could have had this day without her. It was just indescribable. Everything went to plan and Vic had excellent communication skills … always promptly emailing and messaging back and fourth. Nothing was any trouble. She went above and beyond for both Jamie and I, even picking us up to take us to our pre-wedding day and we cannot thank her enough for our spectacular wedding day… a day we will remember forever. ❤️ If you are looking for a lovely and very reliable wedding planner please please book Victoria. I cannot explain how incredible she is as a professional and as a person. ✨ -

Amazing Wedding Planner
Our July wedding in Ravello was an absolute dream and would not have been possible were it not for Victoria and her fantastic team at Sophisticated Weddings!
We could not thank them enough for all their support and really making our vision for our Wedding Day a reality.
Victoria was always on hand no matter the time and really made the wedding planning experience a breeze!
Together we arranged an unforgettable 3 day event for our guests at the most amazing locations, all thanks to Victoria.
I would highly recommend Sophisticated Weddings to anyone looking to plan their Italian wedding.

Outstanding and Priceless
I can’t thank Victoria enough for all the help support and knowledge in helping us plan out absolute perfect day. The best amalfi coast planner!
Victoria and everyone at at Sophisticated weddings were absolutely incredible! Everyone told me that the wedding planning process (especially internationally) would be stressful. It wasn’t in the slightest! They made everything feel so effortless. Victoria is incredible and I if you are thinking of having a wedding in the amalfi coast don’t look any further for a wedding planner! It will be the best decision you make! -

Absolutely amazing!
Well where do I even start! Victoria and her team are amazing, I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I knew I had found the right wedding planner from the very first meeting! So friendly, quick to laugh and warm in her approach put us complete at ease. People told me that organising a wedding was really stressful, but I actually didn’t experience that because Victoria and her team took all the stress out of it and left us with all the bits that were thoroughly enjoyable. Victoria has an incredible way to understand what you want to achieve and is a pleasure to work with. Speaking English and Italian fluently, she has excellent contacts/ recommendations which saved us hours of research and time, always quick to respond, super organised and a fellow spreadsheet fan 😊
Victoria was so supportive when it came to all aspects of the legal ceremony (we chose to legally marry in Italy) and helped us navigate the process, nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day, Victoria and Lucina were on hand all day to make sure everything ran smoothly – Victoria at the Cloisters and Lucina in our hotel room whilst hair and make-up etc were being done. We honestly couldn’t have done it without Victoria – she’s nothing short of incredible.
I cannot recommend Sophisticated Weddings highly enough to anyone thinking of planning a wedding on the Amalfi Coast and want to do it all over again!

I did so much research and met so many planners but none listened the way Victoria did or were as warm as she was. She truly made the entire experience stress free and fun. She shared the excitement with us and made the experience truly special. I’m so thankful I had her to make my vision come to life. Everything was perfect…from the welcome dinner to the wedding to the farewell brunch! I truly couldn’t have asked for better. I wish I could do it all over again. Victoria and her team are absolutely brilliant, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! They took all the stress out of planning our wedding, leaving us with all the enjoyable and happy parts... Victoria was also very quick to respond to any questions we had and always "understood the assignment" to a tee! We didn't have to worry about researching our own florists, musicians, makeup artists etc as Victoria has all of her own contacts / recommendations which saved us so much time. Our wedding was just spectacular, and we couldn't have done it without Sophisticated Weddings Italy. Thank you! -

As quite the stress head I knew it was in my best interests to get a wedding planner to help us plan our special day. After sending numerous emails to various wedding planners in Italy and heading back almost immediately from Victoria I just knew that she was the one.
Victoria is honestly next to none. She was incredibly supportive throughout our planning process. From our very first zoom call Victoria knew exactly what vision we wanted.
Victoria and her team made our wedding day incredible. Everyone at Sophisticated weddings were a pleasure to work with and it really shows how much Victoria cares about her brides and grooms. Nothing was to much trouble. Victoria sourced absolutely everything, helped with vendors, legal paperwork, corresponded with venues etc. it was honestly stress free and I cannot thank her enough.
I have made a friend for life and will never forget everything everyone did to plan our perfect day.

Victoria is absolutely incredible. I always knew I wanted our wedding to be on the coast of Italy. From our first zoom meeting, Victoria was warm, friendly, and professional. It is so nice that she also knows the different parts of the Amalfi coast and can speak Italian- so you know you are getting the best services and vendors for your big day. She helped us and reassured us with every aspect of the planning process. I often had friends and family asking how I was not worried about planning a wedding halfway across the world. My response was always, “we have an amazing planner who knows what she’s doing- they have weddings every day in Italy!” I never had any doubts about Victoria planning our day and having the help of her team. She is one of a kind and I absolutely could not recommend her more. She will help you with your welcome dinner, events outside the wedding day, and of course every detail for your big day. If we could go back in time and relive our big day, we would do it in a heartbeat. Thank you, Victoria, and your team for helping our wildest dreams come true. -

Amazing!
Where do I begin with the beautiful Victoria…!
Myself and Scott first met Victoria back in 2018, she picked us up from our hotel and drove us around to view possible venues, we instantly felt like we had known her for years and made us feel so comfortable.
I had the venues in mind that I wanted to look at and we was so excited to view them all.
Victoria being the amazing Wedding Planner that she is said to us:
“I have one venue that I want to take you to, I know it’s not on your list but let’s just have a look at it, I think you will like it”
WOW WOW WOW!!!! It blew us away and no surprises we booked for our wedding in 2020.
We made LOTS of plans for our dream wedding with Victoria getting excited choosing the flowers, photographer, MUA, Saxophone player… then covid hit :(
No words can describe the years of worry, stress, and upset we went through having to postpone our wedding not once but twice!!
I can honestly say i do not know what we would of done if it wasn’t for Victoria being the most amazing Wedding Planner not just a Wedding Planner but being there for us like a friend, re-assuring us every step of the way with the ever changing rules in Italy and moving our suppliers to our new dates.
She was always a text away when I was having bridezilla moments and she was always there to calm me back down.
2 years later we finally got our day and it was an absolute dream, better than we ever imagined it to be and we truly believe that’s because of the eye to detail Victoria has and she just understood my visions and made them happen.
Thank you Victoria for being the best planner and an all round lovely person.
I miss planning with you and hope to come visit you soon in sunny Sorrento.
Just another little thank you to Lee who was with me the morning of the wedding helping get everything sorted and helping everyone get to the venue ok.

We had the most perfect day on 8th August 2022 and a big part of planning our day is down to the work of Sophisticated Weddings
I reached out to a few planners in Italy and we 'met' Victoria over zoom call in November 2020 just out of curiosity to see if we could make our dream Italian wedding happen. She was amazing from the get go and knew she was who we wanted to help plan our wedding. We were sold by the end of our first call and booked our wedding within the week!
Victoria has made the wedding planning process fun, stress free and enjoyable for me. Through the nearly 2 years of planning, I've not had to worry about anything. A quick email (sometimes middle of the night, sorry Victoria!!) and within a few hours, my wishes have been answered. No wedding is without its drama (a hospital dash when we visited in April to view our venues subsequently missing our food tasting and meeting Victoria in person and then the bride breaking her foot 2 weeks before the wedding!) but Victoria reassured me, was very sympathetic and always found a resolution in no time at all.
She has recommended fantastic suppliers, found solutions to my problems and been a joy to speak to throughout.
Victoria and Lucina were both present on our day right through to the evening reception. I was nervous walking in to our ceremony but Victoria reassured me everything was great, on time and my groom was waiting for me. I instantly felt relaxed. She touched base a few times throughout the day just to make sure everything was perfect (which it was!) and she was thanked several times in our speeches!
If anyone is thinking of booking a wedding in Sorrento / Amalfi Coast then without a doubt, you should book Sophisticated Weddings. Thank you to Victoria and your team for helping to create our dream wedding day! -

3/8/22 - Our wedding day
I first met Victoria 4 years ago when I started planning my wedding for the original date of August 2020. We hit it off straight away. She knew exactly the kind of thing I wanted and I felt like we were on the same wavelength throughout the whole process. I then became pregnant and remember ringing Victoria in a panic. She reassured me and with ease arranged a new date for us. We had Another postponement due to COVID but on August the 3rd 2022 we finally had our dream day. The day was effortlessly beautiful, flowed easily and stress free and that was all down to Victoria & her team. Whilst planning, There was no question I couldn’t ask her, she would respond quickly to all my requests and made my vision come to life. She knew exactly the theme I was going for, offering advice and ideas and reassuring me throughout how magical the day was going to be.
Our wedding day was something we will cherish forever. It was so special. The whole planning process was stress free and enjoyable due to Victoria. If you are thinking of getting married in Italy, please don’t hesitate about booking Victoria! She made my wedding dreams come true and I will be forever grateful to her. -

Victoria and her team absolutely made our wedding dreams a reality. She is thorough, responsive, and a genuine pleasure to work with. We also felt that every service she connected us with--photographer, videographer, florist, celebrant, violinist, beauty--were exceptionally talented and lovely to work with as well, fitting perfectly in our budget. Neither my husband nor I could imagine getting married abroad without Victoria. It would not have been as dreamy, beautiful, and stress-free without her help. I don't think this review could possibly capture how grateful we are for all the work she put into our perfect wedding. -
