Bespoke and Lovingly Done

This review is LONG overdue! Sophia was incredible and her work is beyond compare. Our wedding video is so unique, but still a classic. Sophia hit every aspect perfectly! From the other side of the camera you might wonder what she is doing with her special effects tool bag, but the results are OUTSTANDING! We also booked Sophia to video the day after at the beach with our family so that we could get some shots of special family time together and she wove it into our wedding video effortlessly. She is so sweet and you can tell just wants to make you a personalized piece of art that you can cherish. Everyone we have shown our video too all responds the same way - jaw dropping with shock and awe. Watching your video, we felt like movie starts. Book her now before someone else does, because I can tell you first hand you will not regret it. We want her to shoot a video of our family once we start our own :)

Absolutely Amazing

Sophia is truly an artist. We were originally not planning on having a videographer, but I came across her Instagram and connected with her work so much that we had to book her! Her film style is dreamy and not like anything I had seen before when it comes to wedding videography. Sophia focuses on candid, sweet moments, which made our final video feel so authentic. Even though she has a very distinct style, her wedding films feel very unique which makes them much more special and personalized. On top of her work, she is also a very kind and funny person! It was a joy to work with her. We highly recommend booking with Sophia!

Not a videographer but an artist!

Sophia and her team are the real artists! They have eyes for the beauty of trivial life. I feel lucky to have her for my wedding at Hawaii. I remember when we were cutting cakes, I saw her in the shade of tree using a leaf in front of camera to create halo of light. I told my wife: we are making a film!

Pure Magic on Film

From the moment we reached out, working with Sophia felt easy and natural. She responded quickly to our enquiry and was available, yay! We very intentionally chose Sophia for her videography style. Our photos and video were the vendors we were most excited to work with, and it was important to us that they felt seamless and timeless. We wanted authentic, candid moments, beautiful landscape shots, natural scenery, nothing overly posed. Sophia delivered all of that effortlessly, including stunning drone footage that captured the outdoor beauty of our venue perfectly.

We felt Sophia's warm energy as soon as we jumped on a Zoom. She truly got our vision and shared examples of her work to align on the overall vibe, which made us feel completely confident in our choice. Leading up to the wedding, everything was smooth and stress-free. She showed up to our pre-wedding locations and quietly slipped into the background capturing the most detailed and heartfelt footage.

On the day itself, Sophia captured beautiful moments without us ever really feeling like we were being filmed. The final video blew. us. away. The amount of detail is incredible, from small, intimate connections with family and friends, to the way she wove together the light, movement and emotion. While we shared a couple of songs that we loved, she also hand-selected instrumental pieces that elevated the film even more. It feels like a collection of "moments in time" elegant, intimate, emotional and deeply personal, telling an evocative story of how the day felt, not just what happened. We have watched it sooo many times already and loved reliving it with family and friends.

We're also so grateful for Sophia's respect for our privacy as a couple. As we don't share much on socials, she checked in with us before posting anything online, which was so thoughtful and deeply appreciated.

We adore Sophia. Her creativity and ability to capture genuine, authentic moments truly shine through in her work. We LOVED working with her, have stayed in touch long after our wedding, and can't wait to find another life milestone just to work with her again.

Artist of the Light!

She was amazing! We had never done family photos because we are not the type to enjoy picture taking and she was a perfect fit. Her ability to capture such special moments of our regular family life in our family home was exactly what we were looking for. Whimsical Wedding in Waimea Valley

I got married in March, and it was truly the most magical wedding I could have ever dreamed of. Sophia captured every bit of that magic and more. She is not only the best photographer, she is the best person to work with. Throughout the entire process she was so accommodating, so communicative, and genuinely brilliant at what she does.

Her art style was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I love the highlight reel she created and how she somehow managed to capture so many beautiful moments, not just of the two of us but of our closest friends and family. Every single photo feels meaningful. It is like she bottled up the emotions and joy from the day so we can relive them forever.

Sophia also photographed our rehearsal dinner, which ended up tying our whole wedding story together in such a special way. Looking through the full gallery feels like watching the weekend unfold all over again, from start to finish.

I cannot recommend her enough. She is a brilliant photographer and such a gifted artist. You can trust her completely to capture your most important moments in the most beautiful and heartfelt way. Truly 10000 out of 10. Book her and you will be so grateful you did.

Sophia Roud is a phenomenal videographer! She filmed our wedding in Oahu in August 2025 and captured all the in-between moments so well! We received our films about 3 months post-wedding & Sophia also gave us an observer edit and an Instagram teaser, going above and beyond for us! We are deeply appreciative of her responsiveness, her attention to detail, and her kindness from the get-go. Sophia’s is not an operation that merely lines up the guests and takes photos of you with all of them. She puts a lot of care into how people relate to each other and into making that apparent in the finished product. She is someone who will take seriously who you, your family, and your friends are, and will document your wedding in a way that reflects your relationship and your connection with your guests. If you choose Sophia - which you should - you can be confident that you will receive photos taken for you and which have a rich texture that makes them more than just the chronicle of a one-night event. This is certainly how we feel every time we look at the photos. They get better as time passes, too. I cannot recommend her enough. You will not regret it!

Unique, Soulful, Beautiful, Sophia is IT.

First off, I just want to say how sweet and AMAZING Sophia is to work with! She is such a kind, warm human being to be around. She was very responsive and super communicative through our entire planning through the wedding day. We didn't give her any pointers or preferences. We gave her our day and asked her to run with it, and the final product absolutely blew us away. If you want someone who is able to capture the SOUL and ESSENCE of your wedding day, Sophia is the one to capture it in such a beautiful, artistic way. Not only the ceremony itself, but scenery around it, the smiles, the special moments with our guests, the colors; everything we wanted was captured in such an ethereal and beautiful way. Maternity Photoshoot of my Dreams!

Where to even begin! Sophia is not only the most incredibly talented artist, with the way she edits and puts together a the most beautiful stories in her lookbooks, she is also incredibly kind, and comforting, she truly allows you to feel in control of the moment and it makes you feel as if the camera and all the pressure has melted away and you are just spending time with a wonderful friend. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. When I saw the lookbook it brought so many emotions up, it is such a beautiful way to experience the photos, without realizing in the moment of the shoot, she was able to string together the photos in a way that truly told a story and I was absolutely floored with how perfectly she was able to piece them together. I truly felt so grateful and emotional seeing my partner and I in such a beautiful light, it didn't even seem like a set of photos, but more like a montage of us in a moment of pure bliss and love. Sophia made our wedding day so special. She literally told a story with her pictures and the movie she made for us brought me to tears! We're still looking for our jaws...

Sophia really outdid herself. After scouring through her work, I knew I wanted this woman to work with us. But the results were truly just next level. This was worth the wait of a lifetime. My husband and I are still attempting to locate our jaws somewhere on the living room floor after watching the video. I immensely appreciated the fact she went out of her way to incorporate personal requests into the project. Her work means the world to us, and we are so blessed we were able to find her for our big day. Since I was a young girl, I always knew I wanted a wedding video but she gave us a freaking wedding MOVIE. The quality, attention to detail, emotion, and editing are out of this world. An absolute artist.

I cannot sing higher praises for Sophia as a film maker, artist, and person!! Sophia made an absolutely beautiful wedding film for us that came out better than I could have ever imagined. To be honest, I was very hesitant at hiring a wedding videographer at all because I find so many wedding videos turn out very staged and very cookie-cutter, but my mind changed when I found Sophia on the Knot! She is truly an artist and puts her heart into the work she creates. On the day of our wedding, Sophia was so stealth I don’t even know how she managed to capture so many beautiful memories being so unseen! She emphasizes that she wants the couple to just be themselves on their big day and she will be a fly on the wall capturing it all. Communication leading to the day of the wedding was super smooth via email - everything was clear and concise! Candid perfection

We were looking for a videographer for our wedding in O'ahu who fits our style and does very authentic, real and candid footage and came across Sophia. We were so fascinated by her magical videos that we wrote her without hesitation, and we got a meeting with her in a hurry.
In our first call we felt that the chemistry was just awesome and so we decided immediately to choose her. She is a very open-hearted and lovely person, so we felt very comfortable to stand in front of her camera.
We were in the best hands possible and she helped us out answering questions, that did not even remotely have been in her responsibility. Sophia created the most beautiful and gorgeous wedding video for us there is in this world! It's an absolute masterpiece...
It's everything we dreamed it would be, from the song to the editing, the transitions, the atmosphere, the feelings, the style - it's absolute perfection.

Professional, unique, beautiful work!

We spent months researching videographers in Hawaii and we’re so thankful Sophia came recommended by our wedding planner. We wanted to hire someone who can film a romantic video capturing the best moments but we did not want the video to be corny. After watching a lot of her work online, we knew Sophia was the artist we needed to capture our special day. Turned elopement chaos into bliss

Sophia saved our elopement. The universe shined down on us after our original photographer canceled a day before our elopement. My girlfriends were able to get in touch with Sophia, and after a short phone call and good vibes, she booked to come to Kauai for us to shoot our wedding. It truly was an elopement, meaning just me and my husband. But sophia made us both feel like we also had a friend there. She was so kind, so comfortable to be around, and her quirkiness and passion for what she does only reinforced that she was meant to be there on our big day the entire time. The universe has a funny way of working out :). I cannot recommend her enough. I felt giddy and happy the entire time she was shooting us and capturing our special moments.

Sophia was one of the very first vendors we signed, even before we solidified our venue! But when you look at her work and artistic creativity, I just knew she was going to be one to perfectly capture the moments we shared together and the ones we didn't get to see. Match the cinematic shots, the dream like moving images and overlay of soothing folk music, you've got a video that will forever encapsulate the best day of my life!

She helped us feel comfortable when taking pictures and took sooooo many pictures (which isn’t the usual) which we loved because we had so many to look back on to remember our day. Not only where the pictures phenomenal the film was absolutely breathtaking!! Sophia is amazing at what she does. She’s on a whole different level. Amazing experience + unsurpassed creativity!

My wife and I could not be happier with the job Sophia did!!! Back when we were in the planning stages, we weren't even sure at first if we wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding; we figured we might just hire a photographer and call it day. But when my wife found Sophia Roud, we watched all the clips on her Instagram + website, and it didn't take much convincing to decide that we wanted her to capture our special moments! It made sense that if we were going to hire a videographer, we weren't going to hire someone to crank out a generic video, but instead hire a true artist--and that what's Sophia Roud is! The vibe on all her work was captivating and stood out from everyone else we had looked at. Most of all, we wanted special attention paid to capturing our wedding dance, which we had spent many months practicing. Sophia executed this perfectly. She also seemed plugged in to the scene in Kauai and collaborated seamlessly with our wedding photographer who we had hired separately. Just hire her already

I cannot day enough words for how amazing Sophia is at her craft! Not only is she good as what she does, she’s just the sweetest person to interact and work with! We were so excited to receive our video a few short months after the wedding. It was the main thing I was looking forward to the most! We knew she was good when we hired her but she captured our wedding so beautifully and exceeded beyond our wildest expectations! The attention to detail she puts into her films and creativity is extraordinary. I don’t know how she does it but while filming at the wedding she was just stealthy and kept out of sight to capture the most amazing candid moments. For some, that might be their jam. For others, they might be feeling a little more adventure or sci-phi. There could be a possibility of something really intimate or a little extra… but sometimes it’s hard to decide and it’s not quite figured out yet.

Sophi has your back.
No matter what you desire, she seems to have the most breathtaking ideas! She is professionally educated in cinematography and has been able to blend that knowledge with her natural instinct. It is inspiring to watch someone be so indulgent in their work, that they are able to go with the flow and bounce ideas off the tiniest of details. (When we say tiny details, that could mean a teeny weeny dew drop, and BOOM your wedding ring reflected in it.) She loves the use of color, light and sound and feeds off your emotion. This is a wedding film in art form.

At instances when we were about to move on to the next phase of the wedding she insured we did not miss an inspired moment. It was like sparks of imagination combined into our own beautiful reality. As we awaited our film the anticipation -was real!- Upon arrival, when we saw how the tiniest of detail was used it gave us another layer of respect for undeniable talent. Those details made the largest impact and made the heart throb. It’s one of those things where you say, “ __________.” Because you are at a literal loss for words. She has always kept in touch and been available when needed. Even after she sends your video she wants to make sure your satisfied! In today’s world that is rare.

Summary: When Tyger and I look back at our Elopement, we both have said over and over, “What would we have done without Sophia?”

We promise, we are not giving Sophi too much praise. She helped us from the very beginning to the very dear end and her dynamic proves that each video she creates has equal importance to her. We could not imagine if we chose to have someone else film our special day. No other style we reviewed was near comparison. Thanks to Sophi we have more than a video but also a keepsake. We are able to forever remember our special day captured in local Oahu. We feel as if we have known her for a life time. So our suggestion is: Do not plan your wedding without Sophia Roud (period.)

Sophia's work is pure perfection! Her creativity and the artistic direction she takes with the video is absolutely brilliant. She was able to capture the very essence of that day, which you can feel through the music and sound bytes that she had incorporated into the video. It was a complete blur for me that day, but when I saw the video, all the feelings that I felt at our wedding day came back within the first 5 seconds of watching her work. A Visionary! Snap Her Up!

Our wedding planner suggested Sophia to us as our wedding videographer. As someone that works in media, I'm EXTREMELY picky about the way things look and upon watching Sophia's work, my fiance and I were immediately entranced! What an artist, truly! Her point of view is so unique and absolutely beautiful. But that doesn't stop her from being a team player and making sure her clients get what they want. Not your average wedding video

If you’re researching wedding videographers and seen enough videos, you’ve probably come to the same conclusion I have. They all kinda look the same. They all have the same walk up the aisle shot. They have the same awkward brides maid speech. They have the same make-up in the hotel room shot. All of it amounts to a kinda awkward, barely romantic edit of the days events. They’re all kinda doing the same bland thing.

Expect Sophia Roud.

She’s different. She’s something special.

When you hire her - you’re not getting a video of the day. You’re getting a dream she’s created. Her work is magical, it’s romantic in a way you didn’t think it could ever be. The video she created for us was truly truly something we’re gonna treasure for the rest of our lives. Every time we watch it (which is everyday) we just cherish it more and more - because it does something other videos don’t do, it captures the love we feel, not just the days event. She is a visual genius and offers something no other videographer can offer.

And on top of all of that, she’s a genuinely sweet and super friendly person. I can’t recommend her enough.

The hype is real

Absolutely unreal

I don’t even know where to begin! Sophia was an absolute dream to work with. The sweetest soul with a true gift of capturing the best day ever. We get to relive this day over and over again through the most romantic, moody, beautiful lense of Sophia. I would hire her 100 times again if I could!!

From the first time we connected via email to months after the wedding, Sophia has been very professional and accommodating. She worked with us to get exactly what we wanted for our package and even flew to NYC for the shoot! Truly the best!!

I honestly can’t say enough about how talented and incredible Sophia is. We learned about Sophia from our venue’s coordinator and after viewing a couple of her amazing pieces of art I knew we had to book her for our wedding. Sophia was so kind, fun, and helpful leading up to our wedding. On the day of our wedding she worked so hard to capture every single angle, candid moment, and beautiful detail. She’s so much fun to work with and my husband and I felt so comfortable and relaxed in front of her camera. My family absolutely loved her and kept talking about how hard she was working and how everywhere they turned, she’s was there capturing something. We added on the Instagram teaser and her turn around was SO FAST that we were able to post it before we even left for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and made me even more excited for the full video. She sent us the full video so quickly and I can’t even express how amazed and in love we are with our video. Sophia is truly an artist and she captured every single emotion and beautiful part of our wedding and our guests. She truly captured the feeling of what we experienced on our big day. My husband and I were sitting there crying our eyes out watching it. She is so absolutely worth hiring for your videography! We were seriously so in love with what she captured that we also asked if she would make an album of some of the stills from our video. She custom designed and made the layout of our album and we’re just as obsessed with it! Sophia surpassed our expectations and then some! We were so pleased with her work at our friends' wedding in Hawaii that we decided to fly her to Miami for ours! And she did NOT disappoint. Sophia is not only friendly and welcoming, she is an amazing talent! We had looked at several videographers but weren’t terribly impressed enough to want to hire anyone. Luckily Sophia came as a recommendation to us by our photographers, and as soon as we saw her work, we were hooked!

Sophia was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Jeremy, with Hanai Events. He showed us an example of her work and guaranteed we would cry if she made our video. I am a sucker for tears of joy. He did not lie, oh my goodness...talk about breathtaking!!! My husband gave the ultimate compliment, becoming inspired by Sophia’s work.

Sophia possesses a unique combo of professionalism, while feeling like family. Having a curve ball thrown our way 6 days before our destination wedding (venue fell thru), Sophia adjusted her schedule to accommodate our new plans/venue, and on her own accord, provided us with additional time to ensure we got sunset photos. Working with Sophia was one of our favorite parts of our day since my hubby & I really got to be with one another, laugh and be silly with Sophia’s encouragement and guidance.

She proceeded to work nonstop post-wedding, producing beautiful images within one week of the wedding (and double the amt. promised). Our contract stipulated a 3 month turn around; both, pics and videos were made easily accessible and sent to us within 20 days! She also created a photo gallery to share with guests, mailed a personalized flash drive accompanied with a beautiful card & Hawaiian candy. Above and beyond is an understatement!

I cannot say enough about the spirit and amazing artistry of this extraordinarily talented woman. She is the real deal & we felt incredibly privileged to have her as part of our Big Day. After sharing with guests, many reached out sharing they were so touched by the video that they cried! While another family member stated “what ever you paid, it was not enough!” …I could not agree more, and I, like our wedding planner, can guarantee that if you are lucky enough to get on Sophia’s calendar you will be beyond amazed by the gift she provides you with.

Where do I start.... Sophia is absolutely, hands down the best videographer you can choose in Hawaii. Hiring a videographer for our ceremony was the best investment we made throughout the entire wedding process. We were married in Hawaii and our families could not attend. Sophia was nothing short of amazing. My wife & I decided to find a Videographer for our wedding and we decided to go with Sophia Roud through our photographer. He told us about her and knowing that our photographer's work was amazing. We couldn't have been more excited to find out about our Videographer!

The day of our wedding it was quite amazing. We didn't get the chance to see Sophia at all. It was like she worked from the shadows but we would catch a glimpse of her on occasions and very rarely did we ever feel like we were intruded on. It was unbelievable as most photographers & videographers need to get up right in your face to get the best shots possible. Not Sophia. Sophia was UNBELIEVABLE. It was absolutely amazing how the video turned out to be and knowing that she got some amazing shots just made it all the better. After we received our video the wife and I were talking together trying to figure out where Sophia was during that 8 hours of time we booked her for.

Not only was she able to hide away and keep herself constantly videotaping our wedding. But she seemed to be able to catch the love, joy, and happiness that was permeating that day. I couldn't recommend her more. If you want someone who you know will catch the best of your beautiful loved one and yourself. Catch the emotions and moments that you knew were special to you at that exact moment. A videographer who was very steady and amazing at keeping herself very professional but extremely friendly.

I have been literally crying all morning from joy watching Sophia's videography she did for us. It is beautiful. The most beautiful video of my entire life. Not only was the videography so captivating she was also so friendly and personable. You could tell she loves doing what she does. She's a natural. Where to begin?! Sophia is so incredibly talented and was such a pleasure to work with. She did our wedding video on Oahu and we were blown away by the final result! We looked at several different videographers and when we came across Sophia's work we knew immediately that this is what we had been looking for. Her style is more cinematic and creative. We scheduled a FaceTime session right away with her and chatted about what we were looking for. She was so eager to learn about us and what we were looking for. She connected with us a couple of weeks before the wedding to chat about final details. Day of went so smoothly and we honestly felt that we had made a lifelong friend by the end of it. When planning such a special day it is invaluable to have people around who you have full confidence in from the beginning to end. Sophia recently did our Wedding Video and it was beyond our expectations! She was punctual, professional and so easy to deal with organising all the way from Sydney Australia. I have nothing but admiration for Sophia and the work she produces. I spent countless hours on the computer searching for a videographer and I didn’t hesitate to reach out to Sophia, I thought she was too good to be true! I was over the moon at our final video, watched over 100X’s and still gives me goosebumps. She was incredibly sweet and pleasant to work with, very complimentary which made it easy to transition into being live models for the day!She made my husband and I feel very comfortable and at ease. At times we didn’t even know she was filming. She captured all of the awesome candid moments we didn’t even know existed and brought them to life in the most beautiful way. She did a fabulous job at capturing the scenery which was UNREAL at The Kualoa Ranch. We feel SO blessed to have found Sophia for our wedding photography and videography. One look at her portfolio and we knew that she had just the eye and style that we were seeking for our Maui ceremony and reception. My husband and I got married on island and knew neither of our families would make it. I had a very small wedding of 20 people and didn't feel like I needed a whole days worth of coverage for my wedding. Luckily, Sophia had packages that offered coverage of the entire ceremony which was what I ended up with. After checking out some of her other videos I knew that I had to hire her as part of my wedding vendor team!

She somehow took a 15 minute ceremony that was in a very very small space and made a video that was dreamy, artistic, and lovely. She took some footage of my husband and I dancing and walking around the garden and edited that in there to elevate it even more. For the price I paid, it was everything I wanted and a keepsake that we'll look back on for the rest of our lives! Sophia is extremely talented and you will not be disappointed with her work!

Sophia is only 19 years old and she turned my wedding into something I will cherish forever. She took the time to meet with me and understand EXACTLY what I wanted from my wedding video. While she is super creative and I put all my trust in her, she also listened to what I wanted and catered to that in an amazing way. She made a special package for me since my wedding was going to be a little shorter than her normal events and was willing to negotiate price with me. I wish that I could get married over and over again just to have her video it! I cry every time I watch the video and I am so glad I spent the money to have it made. If you are looking for a videographer, don't look any further! Book her no matter where you live!

Sophia is such a unique and wonderful talent. On the day of our wedding, she crept in like a mouse that we barely knew she was already hard at work capturing our big day. Throughout the ceremony, she was so discreet that we didn’t even remember seeing her. Her personality was the perfect blend of encouraging and yet allowing of the natural vibe. We feel so lucky to have found her for our wedding. All of the wedding videos we watched to find a videographer (and we watched A LOT), were either boring and cookie-cutter or a huge production that required multiple people in a highly non-discreet manner to pull off. When we watched Sophia’s videos, we fell in love with her style and we absolutely adore the edit that she made for our highlight video. My only regret is that we didn’t hire her to do a longer video. She delivered the video much faster than we thought and it came out beyond our expectations. We watched it together with a glass of wine and it brought tears to our eyes.
Sophia brought a balance of highly professional yet unique and creative filming style. She was discreet and a pleasure to work with before, during and after the wedding. The end product is something that we were really proud to show our friends and family, who were equally impressed. We are excited to one day have something artistic and beautiful to show our kids and grandkids that also really portrays the look and feel of how it actually was to be there that day. Our best decision for a day that goes by in a flash, was to not only rely on fading memories, but to also have the video to watch and relive the day. Thank you Sophia!

Sophia is amazing. We were absolutely blown away by our wedding video. Sophia really captured the essence of my husband and I. We haven't been able to watch it without tears, it's so emotional and perfectly captures all the emotions we were feeling that day. She captured all of our guests so naturally, most of them weren't even aware we had a videographer. Sophia captured so many candid moments that my husband and I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

The quality of the video is so much higher than the price we paid. I would pay triple the price we paid for the video she made us. We initially had no interest in a videographer but after our wedding coordinator recommended Sophia and we saw her work it was too good to be true.

I cannot recommend her enough. It's the best investment you can make as a bride and groom.

Sophia is INCREDIBLE! We were floored when we first saw our wedding highlights; crying in the car to be exact, as we relived our wedding day and all of the feelings that came with it. Sophia's work not only captures the exact emotions that we and our friends/family were feeling that day, but also caught so many details and moments that we didn't personally get to witness. My husband and I didn't even notice Sophia most of the day (I do believe this is why everything looks so genuine & candid), and we were so pleasantly surprised when we saw so many beautiful memories in the video that we didn't know she had recorded! Everyone who has seen our video has been amazed at the quality and artfulness of it, and many of them have said it's the best wedding video they have seen.
We almost didn't have videography at our wedding and I am SO so glad that Sophia was there to capture everything for us. She is incredibly talented and doesn't simply record a wedding, her videos are works of art, and you can see her passion for what she does in her work. I looked all over for someone who was able to capture light, emotion, and feeling in a creative, non-cookie cutter way.

I finally found beautiful, magnificent and artistic Sophia on Yelp. Yay for Sophia Roud! She explained to me carefully and with passion exuding from her eyes and every cell in her body that each project is always her best work. She is always saying, "You've gotta check out this last video I made...it's my best and favorite!!"

That was the clincher for me....someone who wants the best for my work because she is personally invested herself. Sophia was hired on the spot.

She is also humble, and mature beyond her years. Her work is up there and surpasses the top videographers I know because of her artistic nature. Sophia is unwilling to compromise quality for less work.

I feel safe shooting with her and her masterpieces... WOW. WOW. WOW. I don't enjoy watching myself on video even though I do it a lot for work. But WOW. Her finalized video gave me chills, tears in a good way, and is simply truly fantastic.

Do not hesitate to hire Sophia and pay her well for her fabulous masterpieces! She is very very well worth it and the good energy she puts into your project (whether it be wedding, business, or commercial) can be felt.

Every time I look back at our video, I'm so happy to see how beautifully these guys captured our special day. My husband and I live in L.A. and wanted to capture our mini ceremony (a dozen in attendance) at a beach park near where he grew up in Hawaii. We're pretty no-frills and low-key, so this ceremony-only package was perfect for us. Side note... There are very few videographers on the island that will even take a job this small. I explained to another videographer that our needs were simple, but he said he really only did "bigger" wedding videos (with drones and body doubles, i'm sure) and reluctantly obliged to send me more info, which he didn't. Anyhow, no job is too big or small for this girl! She'll tackle any job. Sophia was totally up for what we wanted to capture, utterly sweet and responsive. A truly talented professional.

Just book her already!!!! Sophia is amazingly talented. She knew exactly what to do when she got to the house and the venue. My husband and I really wanted a videographer to capture ourwedding day, but we couldn't justify spending that amount of money when we already had a photographer. As our wedding day approached, we got an email from our wedding coordinator informing us about an extremely talented videographer that she'd been working with. Although we were reluctant, we watched some of Sophia's previous wedding highlight videos, and after speaking with her, we knew that we were making the right choice in booking her. Sophia has such an infectious and bubbly personality, which is exactly what you want to be surrounde by on your wedding day. She is extremely professional and I was surprised at how comfortable she made me feel when she was videoing us. I honestly didn't know she was there half the time, which made watching our highlight reel that much more special, because she captured moments from our day that I didn't realise she was there to capture. Sophia has such a great eye for detail and little moments, and we were able to witness many of them for the first time in our video. Sophia also videoed our ceremony, speeches and special dances, and we've decided that on every anniversary we will watch them and relive our day. I can honestly say that booking Sophia to be our videographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Having a videographer gave many of our family and friends living overseas the opportunity to witness some highlights from our wedding day. Many commented that is was the best highlight video they'd seen and that it was put together so well that they thought it was a movie. Many of my friends who were getting married in Australia, decided to book videographers for their weddings after seeing Sophia's work, but were disappointed that they were unable to find someone with the same talent as Sophia. I love reliving my wedding day when I see the video Sophia so graciously created for us! It brings back wonderful memories and the joy we felt on that special day. Absolutely incredible photography and videography. Sophia is such a beautiful young artist who looks to create magic with every shot. She is a true visionary and wants to capture a subject's essence aside from just its beauty or glamor. I've worked with Sophia on multiple projects over the last few years and have always been totally STUNNED with what she's been able to capture.

I rendered Sophia's photographer and videographer services on several occasions for a family photo session and for my business. When I needed to make professional pictures of my family, I called Sophia. She arrived to my house on time. She took great shots of my baby girl who was 3 years old at that time. I thought it would be impossible as my daughter wouldn't stay still. But Sophia managed. She emailed me all pictures within 24 hours. They turned out great, good quality and bright colors. Sophia made a series of short videos for my Medical Spa showing different medical and aesthetic procedures. Quality was good. She took into consideration all my comments. I liked that she produced videos in a short period of time unlike some other videographers I hired before. Sophia is a very young professional so guidance is important so that she knows exactly what you expect from her. She follows guidance very well.

Being on a budget my husband and I were hesitant to hire a videographer as we already hired a photographer and felt that that would be enough. I am sooooo happy we decided to go with Sophia Roud Media to film our wedding! I liked our wedding photos the photographer took, but when I saw our wedding video Sophia made, both my husband and I cried. Her video completely outshined the wedding pictures! It was gorgeous!!! Unique videography, book now!

Sophia is such a friendly person. She has such a vision and knows what looks good. If you’re looking for a unique and artistic wedding video then Sophia is your girl. Just make sure you communicate what your vision is to her. When we received our video there were a few edits that need to be done and she was so accommodating and willing to take the notes to make the changes. We are absolutely obsessed with our video and have watched it many times already.
