STUNNING custom venue with exceptional service and affordable price!
Song river was an EXCEPTIONAL choice of Venue. This is exactly what you are looking for and so much more. Large space, full customization, beautiful decor, friendly service.
We booked Song River for our wedding reception and Quyen (the owner) was so helpful from the very beginning. Im an overwhelmed bride, and only child with no siblings, and my mother has Dementia so i was doing it all alone. I never had my wedding planned from a young age so I was completely lost and scared where to begin and wanted something easy. Quyen was there to guide me and literally wipe the tears from my face (I got overwhelmed and cried).
We booked the space from 11am to 11pm and Quyen sent over an amazing detailed guide to help plan my wedding and reception. I chose one of her pre-selected decorations options and it turned out so beautiful. I believe the package was called "the silk" i cant recall but it was worth it. All lights and decorations are fully customizable and we chose to go with white table linens/chairs and blue/purple lights.
Vendors were a BREEZE, as she let's you bring anyone so long as they are licensed and insured. But dont stress because Quyen has a list of vendors she has worked with that know the space, we ended up choosing one from that list for food and bar and purchased the beer/wine to save some $$$.
Venues are expensive but Song River is very affordable in today's market, and honestly worth so much more with how beautiful, large, and customizable the space is.
Quyen is professional, kind, and knowledgeable, you will want her on your team and you will want to book this space. 10/10 amazing experience and memorable reception! -

Song River is stunning as a venue - elegant, spacious, and inviting.
Song River is unparalleled as a wedding venue - Quyen and Olive‘s experience, expertise, and kindness is a soothing balm to a chaotic and stressful time. Their Borrow Room is full of beautiful and useful treasures to enhance the natural beauty of the space. Their wedding planning guide and vendor recommendations are so detailed and thorough.
Olive, Quyen and the entire Song River staff are truly remarkable humans and incredible professionals. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, inviting, and respectful of our queerness and the many different identities of our wedding guests.
I cannot recommend them enough for any event. Not only do you get THE BEST venue, but you get the wealth of knowledge and experience that they share with you, and you get to support a minority-owned business and some of the most amazing humans I’ve met.
Our wedding day was pure magic and Song River was an integral part of that. -

Everything went excellent this venue saved our life and a lot of money they offer the chairs and table they will help you with everything you need. We loved how everything turned out ❤️

Choosing Song River was an easy choice. We’ve been looking around at wedding venues and it was ridiculous how much places were charging just for the venue. What really sold us was the price you pay for how much you’re getting. Our whole reception was basically decorated with items from their Decor Closet. It really saved us a lot of money and time. Olive is a sweetheart! She was so welcoming since the beginning. She made the whole process of choosing a venue so easy for us. We met Quyen closer to the day of our event and she was just as welcoming. Both Olive and Quyen made you feel like family. I recommend Song River to anyone out there looking for a wedding venue. It checked all of our boxes and it will for you too! -

Our wedding last night was absolutely beautiful and went so smoothly. I can’t thank Quyen and Olive enough for their guidance, patience, expertise and professionalism. They worked with our budget and never made us feel like our wedding would be anything but amazing. Song River is a beautiful venue and I can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing Venue
We had our reception at Song River on 08-14-21. Omg, I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful this venue is. The crystal bar, the candle wall for the cake, the walls themselves and the lighting everything is beautiful. The owner, Quyen is amazing, very committed to helping us have a perfect day. Every question asked was answered in a timely manner and she went above and beyond to be sure that we weren’t stressing about minor details. Our guest list was 300 and honestly the price is great for how beautiful this venue is. Our day was exactly what we pictured and we left very happy. I highly recommend Song River. Check them out, you will not be disappointed. -

PERFECT! Everything I imagined and more.
I couldn’t be more thankful, My dream wedding became a reality and it’s all thanks to them. They made everything so easy, helped with whatever needed to be done, truly took stress off my shoulders. We got everything planned in a MONTH, during a pandemic. And everything still came out absolutely PERFECT. I’ll forever recommend the song River banquet. I can’t thank them enough. -

Wonderful!!
We had less than 2 weeks to plan our wedding from basically scratch after our first venue unexpectedly shut down. Song River was amazing!!!! They worked with us and our budget to make our wedding possible. I think it actually turned out better than it would have with the other place. We had many compliments and many people tell us it was the best wedding ever. The space is beautiful, it’s huge, and easily accessible. ♥️♥️♥️ -

Song River is a wonderful venue with many added amenities. It is a tremendous value for large events and weddings allowing lots of options for creative décor. It has an awesome bar. Song River has it all without having to rent everything to make your event happen. This value added. The owners are fabulous, fun, accommodating, and professional. Quyen and her husband are both creative talents & visionary.....this makes for a great event @ Song River. -

I had an amazing experience at Song River Banquet Hall. The owner Ms. Quyen is beyond helpful and open. The owner helped us with bartending and coordinated with the wedding decorator Ms. Dao from Pearl Studio to make my wedding looked so beautiful and elegant. It was beyond perfect and stress free for the hall portion. I highly recommend this Hall for wedding or parties. We easily seated 250 people with large dance floor and stage. The bathrooms are very clean and the bar is off to the side. The entrance is perfect for photo booth. -

In a revitalized little town off Hwy 2, headed toward Stevens Pass, is a beautiful urban downtown setting called Monroe. About 40 minute commute from Seattle Metro, lies a gem of a indoor venue called Song River.
As a vendor, I have worked there so many times this year. Every time I do, the staff greets us by name and genuinely appear to love working their venue. I truly feel welcome every time I come here and it’s a bit like coming home.
Capable of comfortably seating 400, Song River boasts a full stage, beautiful open floor plan, a stunning remodeled Bridal Suite, the Crystal Bar and a gorgeous new feature “ River Wall”- hand painted by the owner’s extremely talented husband. I can’t believe that this place isn’t booked out for the next decade. The price is incredible for larger weddings and parking is super easy, even with a packed house. It’s hotels are in easy walking distance; it’s less than a mile away from Al Borland Park on the beautiful Skykomish River, and has all the old world meets modernization kind of charm spilling over its’ stunning little “Main Street”. I adore it- and with plans for further amazing renovations from now until 2030- I’m so excited for all of the beautiful changes this venue has in store.
If you are looking for a year round venue, with a whole lot of charm- look no further. The notoriously fickle Washington weather is never an issue! I just know you will love it! -

Beautiful wedding
We absolutely loved our wedding at Song River Monroe on 02/17/2019. It was a pleasure working with the owner, Quyen throughout the wedding planning process. She was always so personable, professional, and responsive whenever we reached out to her with questions/concerns. The Decorator was also incredibly helpful and sweet and did a fantastic job of setting up all of the decor. Quyen was detailed in explaining our contract and there were no last minute issues or surprises. Anytime we went to meet with them, we were greeted well.
The best thing about the venue is, they have decorators, DJ and photographer. I'm based in New York and it was incredibly hard to plan all the details in advance and find vendors. However, with the help of Quyen and her team I didnt have to worry much. I came to Seattle last week and completely re-did the design, colors, and wall decor. The decorator was super flexible and pretty much spent all her week to accomodate us. We met at her house once and planned it all and she did an amazing job. She is also super friendly. The decorator we worker with is Pearl Studio. And the DJ is Eternally Yours.
I spoke to photographer once about the quote/price and the next message came from him prior to the event just to confirm. He arrived o time, had a positive attitude and sent us the photos in 2 weeks. They came out really well. For photographs we worked with Sound Originals.
We worked with a family caterer for food and arranged staff accordingly.
Compared to other Seattle venues Song River was very reasonably priced. The venue truly creates a “party” vibe, in a chic, yet classic setting. We had over 300 guests and the dance space was honestly good for everyone. Space gets lit with the lighting. It does have positive feelings especially after all the decor!
Our wedding was gorgeous, the reception ran so smoothly, and I can’t recommend Song River enough! So many guests said it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever attended! -
