I had the pleasure of working with Something Vintage Rentals for a wedding I planned and designed in Maine, and their linen napkin rental process exceeded all expectations. From the initial consultation to the delivery and return, their team provided seamless service with clear communication every step of the way. The variety in their color-blocked napkins was not only visually striking but also added the perfect touch of personality and warmth to the event’s mid-century modern aesthetic.
The quality of the linens was impeccable, and they arrived neatly packaged, ready to set each table with ease. This attention to detail made the setup process so much more efficient and stress-free for our team. Something Vintage made linen rentals smooth and fun for our wedding. The wishlist function on the website allows for easy and clear order creation and invoicing. We also got a linen “tasting” so we could look at our selections at home before committing to the order. So handy! We are local and weren’t getting any large pieces, so we chose the pick-up option and the staff at the warehouse were quick and helpful. The linens were clean, and came flat-packed a pre-pressed for easy setup. Not only are Something Vintage’s linens beautiful, unique, and high quality, but their customer service is top-notch. We had a bit of a scare regarding the color and number of linens we picked up and they got right on fixing the issue and making us feel at ease. They might just say this to all the couples, but the event coordinator at our venue said the place settings were some of the best she’d ever worked with. Much credit goes to Something Vintage for their excellent inventory and their commitment to customer service. Highly recommended for weddings and events in the DMV that are looking for a splash of color!

Both my wife and I have worked in the wedding industry, so we know exactly what it looks like behind the scenes. I had been a fan of Something Vintage for many, many years, drawn to their unique inventory of bright colors, patterns, and textures.
If I had a million dollars to spend on a wedding, it would all go to Something Vintage. Unfortunately, with our wedding being out of state and on a more reasonable budget, we decided that we'd splurge for one thing: napkins. But not just one kind of napkin. A different print for each of our reception tables, which would also each be adorned with a different tablecloth and centerpiece. These were a pivotal piece of decor to bring the room together.
We couldn't be more thrilled with how our tables came together, and how much personality the napkins showed. Let this be your sign that the little things matter!! -

The whole Something Vintage was so responsive throughout the entire planning process leading up to our wedding. The staff from Something Vintage were friendly and helpful and the items we rented made our venue feel like home! We added and removed several items from our order a few weeks before the wedding but they were quick to respond and update our invoice. We chose to transport the rentals ourselves (in true DIY style we drove up to the rehearsal in a U-Haul van) and they were quick and efficient with loading our items at pick up and unloading at drop off.
The “The Taras: Carved His and Hers Chairs” were the centerpiece for our ceremony as we chose to exchange our vows while seated. These ornate chairs were sturdy and worked beautifully facing one another for the ceremony and pushed together side-by-side for our formal family portraits. We loved the rustic look the “The Mac” and “The Jazz” crates created for the dessert table by adding dimension to our cake and mini pie display. Among other items, “The Azure: Vintage Suitcases” set a travel vibe for our gifts table and the various pillows we selected transformed a boring space into a lovely, welcoming vintage sitting room.

Seriously their showroom alone is a reason to check SVR out. I don't think I've ever been so amazing. They handmake so many pieces which blew my mind. They have rentals for literally anything you'd dream up. The team is so kind and fun AND they are so active in giving back to the community. They donated face masks to the hospital I work out when covid first hit. Without them and their pieces, my wedding vision would not have come to life. I used Something Vintage for rentals for our wedding at Walker's Overlook on 10.12.19 and their team was very easy to work with! I met Lauren at their show room which was super organized and she showed me all the pieces on my "wishlist" and also gave some additional recommendations. I chose their The Willow Rattan Settee for my husband and I to sit at around the Reagan copper sweetheart table and used the Phoenix copper U-shaped bar. They then arranged a proposal and contract for me to sign and handled delivery details with my wedding coordinator. And the pieces looked SO beautiful in my reception space. I would highly recommend Something Vintage for future brides!

The Something Vintage team was so awesome to work with on our selection of farm
Tables, head table chairs, guest chairs and couches, tables and games for the lawn. We had such a great time going to the warehouse and seeing in person all of our choices for my daughters and son in law wedding on July 13. The team was so helpful as we put together their perfect pieces for the wedding. Throughout the process as we added things they were responsive and helpful. When you see all of their inventory you are blown away at the selection, but seeing it all at Shadow Creek for our wedding was perfection. The blues were striking for our couches. The tables were beautiful. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience and what it did to make the wedding so beautiful! -

We rented several items from SV for our outdoor/garden/vintage inspired wedding. The pink velvet sofa was a hit with all the guests and the buffet was a perfect fit for our numerous cakes.
All the communications I had with SV were clear and friendly and very responsive. They definitely had the best selection of vintage items for the DC area. My only regret is not going to their showroom before the wedding! It looks amazing. Delivery and pick up were great. -

For our wedding we needed to bring in everything, and I mean everything. Even bathroom amenities. So, I wanted some gorgeous but simple farm tables. Something Vintage did not disappoint, and their staff was a dream to work with. When I figured out I need chairs at almost the last minute, they worked with me to see if they had something in their inventory that would work. And, the end results were gorgeous (just look at the pictures). Will be using them for future family events and anytime I need to rent upscale furniture again.Something Vintage Rentals's reply:

Glad we chose to work with Something Vintage for our wedding! It started with needing a huppah, and not wanted to spend an arm and a leg to buy one. Luckily, Something Vintage had a beautiful wooden arbor to rent, and we found other pieces to incorporate that made our wedding unique and fun (and easy - we wanted to rent as many items as possible!).
The SV team is very helpful and communicative. They realized that we can rented two chairs for our sweetheart table that were actually going to be too short (we didn't realized they were more lounge-style chairs). So, they offered us the option to have a platform to raise the chairs, or to exchange them for any other set. We loved the chairs we swapped for better than the original ones we selected - they were just beautiful!!
I do recommend stopping by their warehouse before you rent, if you can. Some items were a little larger than we expected (but still worked perfectly!). Plus, it looks like a fun place to visit.

For my wedding day we rented the handmade white plates with gold rims, gold forks, the assortment of blue glass goblets, and the crossback chairs. Just had the most perfect, dream-come-true wedding and Something Vintage deserves so much credit for that for all the pieces and details that brought my vision to life! I was going for a really laid-back, boho, vintage, romantic feel and they nailed it. We had a lounge set up during cocktail hour, which was so beautiful with a couch, carpet, coffee table and two chairs. We also rented a farm table for our cake and cookies, really pretty vintage plates and amber and rose colored water goblets for our dinner tables. Made the reception look so beautiful! My FAVORITE part... our sweetheart table! We rented the Reagan (copper sweetheart table) and the Willow (a double peacock chair) and it was so gorgeous. Exactly the look I was going for and my groom kept saying all night how happy he was with our sweetheart table and how comfortable and fun the chair was. So nice to be able to sit so close to each other for some laughs and kisses. Exactly what I wanted. My wedding planner did most of the coordination with the SVR team but she works closely with them often so I imagine she has nothing but good things to say as well, since she recommended them for our big day. Really beautiful pieces of furniture and great inventory. Only regret is not visiting their warehouse in person myself during the process- I follow them on Instagram and it looks so fun!! -

Something Vintage made my boho wedding dreams come true!! I only knew I wanted my husband and I to sit in peacock chairs at the head table and their wonderful team helped me fill in my vision with a stunning hedge wall, vintage carpets, Pinterest worthy lounge area plus all of the little details!! Not only was the team super easy to work with, the delivery was stress free and the entire package was affordable. My only issue is that I fell in love with every piece and wanted to keep it all!! Something vintage stepped my wedding game up in a MAJOR way. They exceeded all of my expectations and I can’t stop drooling over my pictures. They also have so many styles and options to choose from, you’ll definitely be able to construct the wedding scene of your dreams! -

I'd rented a historic venue for the event and Something Vintage had an incredible selection of styles to pick from that fit perfectly with the style and feel of the day. I got a sofa and chairs / side tables, a rug, and lots of the decor pieces (pillows, crates, frames) which added so much to the details. Everything was gorgeous! The delivery and pickup times were easy to work with and just in general, it was a wonderful experience that I hope I get to repeat in the future. -

We had a vintage book themed wedding and rented several items including a card catalog, vintage books, a trunk, the Library table and the gorgeous Merlot sofa. The delivery crew showed up early and everything was set up perfectly. SV is constantly adding new things to their inventory, and because I was unable to stay off of their website, I added a few things throughout the process. SV was very easy to work with, and all of their items made our wedding gorgeous! Highly recommended. -

I cannot say enough about Something Vintage Rentals. Dawn and her team executed our vision and helped us along the way, which during Covid was especially tricky. The knowledge base among her team was just beyond, Dawn even connected us to our Unique Catering idea as well. The set-up and delivery were seamless and our vision was spot on. I would love to have a party just to utilize all of their unique pieces and talent! -

Everyone was obsessed with the SVR decor at my wedding. We wanted a vintage/bohemian vibe, and we got just that. The team that dropped off and picked up all the furniture was awesome! Lauren was also a pleasure to work with. My wedding was stunning, and SVR was a huge part of it!!

Something Vintage provides beautiful rentals for such a good price!! So many of our guests complimented the goblets, the chairs, and the outdoor lounge - so so pretty!! Only downfall is that once you sign the contract, no matter how far out you are from the wedding, you cannot decrease your item purchase- apparently you can easily do this with most other rental companies yet as Something Vintage is a small company, they cannot guarantee that they will be able to re-sell items for an event (makes sense!). So my recommendation is to order less than more in the beginning and to ensure you are positive of the products are are asking for before you sign a contract on them - which can be difficult as things change throughout the wedding process. Lauren was great though about working with us in any way possible to ensure we were happy with the items we had and it was definitely easy to increase or add on items as the wedding approached, as long as they were available!! Definitely recommend Something Vintage!! -

We loved the rentals we got from Something Vintage. We used a vintage mantle, farmhouse tables and cross-back winery chairs. We loved the look and feel these pieces provided to our vintage/industrial venue. The team was always responsive and was patient and flexible with our requests. If you are looking to personalize and upgrade the aesthetic of your event, I would definitely recommend Something Vintage.Something Vintage Rentals's reply:

Emily Sent on 09/28/2016The farm table and lace runner we rented were beautiful. Pricing was great compared to other vendors and the quality of the table was beautiful. The process of transporting the table (taking it apart and back together) was more than I expected, but my work was able to handle it perfectly the day of! I would recommend a farm table for your head table!
