Best Hair & Makeup Artist Hands Down!

As a wedding photographer, I recommend Corin to all of my clients. Her talent and personality are what set her apart from her peers. She is great at enhancing natural beauty, but can also do a more glammed up look as well. She can do it all!! And best of all, she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. When I got engaged and it was my turn to be a bride, it was a no-brainer... I had to have Corin do my hair and makeup for my wedding. We chose not to do a trial, but I wasn't worried in the slightest. I had loved her work every time I've referred her a bride in the past. On the morning of, she showed up on time and kept me so calm and relaxed while she worked on my hair and makeup. We chose to do some classic waves and smokey brown makeup. I wanted my makeup to feel more dramatic than my every day makeup, but still feel natural and she perfected that! If you are searching for someone to do your wedding hair and makeup, look no further. Corin is your girl!

Glam and fun!

A wonderful makeup artist!

Corin did an amazing job for my family and for me on my wedding day. She took my inspiration photos and adjusted them to fit my features. And she's wonderfully efficient!!!

She’s the BEST

Corin is absolutely wonderful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to do makeup for my wedding! My bridesmaids and I loved her work so much. She listened to all of our requests, and was so efficient and worked quickly. A few days before our wedding, a fire broke out near Yosemite. Corin worked so wonderfully with us, and stayed dedicated to doing our makeup. The fire was near where she needed to drive to get to us in Yosemite. She made the long drive the night before our wedding to be certain she was there for us the next morning. We will be forever grateful for all she did for us.

100% Would Recommend This Gem!

Beauty By Corin was the hair and makeup vendor that I chose for my Yosemite elopement in November 2020. When COVID-19 hit, everything was so uncertain and it was extremely difficult to plan our wedding. After rescheduling 4 times, we decided to go small and have an intimate elopement ceremony with just our parents. Corin was responsive via email as I shared all the various ideas for my hair and makeup.
When Corin arrived on the day of the wedding, she was so easy to talk to and was super sweet! We reviewed my inspiration photos together and decided on a gorgeous glam look and pretty half updo. I ended up bringing a veil but didn't know how to incorporate it into the look. Corin knew exactly how to place it and it was stunning!
Even though I didn't have any of my bridesmaids there with me, Corin was calm and supportive and we shared LOTS of laughter! I felt very comfortable with her and felt like I was chatting with someone I had known for a long time! Corin has so much passion for what she does and it shows through with the work that she does!
My hair and makeup lasted the entire day! I was so pleased with how everything turned out. I truly hope that I get to work with her again in the future!!! 100% would recommend for a Yosemite wedding!

Amazing Makeup and Hair Team

Corin is the nicest, sweetest person ever and she is amazing at makeup. My wedding day happened to be on the hottest day of the year with temperatures reaching 110 and everything was taking place outside. Corin was nice enough to airbrush everyone's makeup and we all looked absolutely flawless out in the heat. We had a group of 7 ladies getting their hair and makeup done and Corin and Charity were absolute pros making sure everyone was wedding perfect and on time. Couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup team.

Great make up and hair!

Corin was excellent!! She did an at home trial and made sure I was comfortable with every single detail about my make up and hair ! She was really easy to talk to about what I did and didn’t want and she did such good work and me and all my girls ! Love her

I was a bit scattered with my decision making but Corin was so patient and walked me through the process. We were in constant contact up until the day so I knew what to expect on the morning. They arrived early to make sure everything was set up and my girls and I could be ready on time. I got so many compliments on the day and the photos turned out great. No complaints here!

I am so happy that Corin was my hair and make-up artist for my wedding! She did hair and make up for my sister's wedding a few years previously, and I loved the results then. So it was a no-brainer for me to book her. We did one trial (on the day of my bridal shower, which worked out perfectly, yay pretty pictures). I really trusted Corin with my look...I knew what I didn't like, but I was pretty open and easy going overall. I was thrilled with the results and got so many compliments. She even held my hand through the crazy (new to me) world of hair extensions. My makeup lasted until the very end of the night. I felt so sad washing it off!

Corin is so talented, but more then that, she is an awesome person to be around. My wedding day was great, but there were moments when I felt stressed and overwhelmed. She made me laugh, calmed me down and made sure I had a cocktail. Seriously, it was like having another friend getting ready with me. I really appreciated that - it wasn't awkward at all.

Last thing, I think Corin's services are an amazing value. If she is available on your date, BOOK HER RIGHT NOW! You won't regret it.

Corin was awesome! She did both hair and make-up for me (bride) and my sister. I felt beautiful and natural at the same time... not an easy feat especially when the hair and make-up was so well placed I didn't have to do any touch ups the entire night!! Corin did the hair for myself and my Bridesmaids at my September wedding in Anaheim. She was professional, easy-going, and flexible. Corin listened to what I wanted and also gave me feed back on what she thought would work best for my look. She had a wonderful demeanor with my Bridesmaids and made us all feel comfortable and beautiful. She even stayed a bit later to do touch ups on my hair after I put my dress on! Most importantly, my husband thought I looked stunning on our wedding day and make multiple comments about how wonderful my up-do looked! I would highly recommend Corin to any Bride!

I contacted Corin far in advance of my wedding for my bridal hair/make up as well as my bridal party. She was so helpful during the trial session and I also hired her to do my hair/make up for my engagement photo shoot as well. Something New Makeup and Hair were so much fun to work with for my wedding. They made all the women in my life look stunning with custom looks for each.

Corin took the time to come visit me before the event and we 'played' with different makeup and hair looks until I was sure I knew what I wanted. Most importantly, I wanted to look like me. I did not want to look so made up that I did not look like myself. Corin is a master at this art. The look on the day of was perfect and it lasted all night, even after the hours of dancing. My pictures looks the same from the first step down the aisle to the farewell wave.

Something New Makeup and hair was extremely accommodating throughout the whole process and a terrific value. I would absolutely recommend Something New Makeup and hair for any event where 'the look' should be in the hands of the professionals!

Corin did hair and make-up for my five bridesmaids and I, plus make-up only for my mother-in-law and hair only for the flower girl. She and her assistant arrived early on the day of and worked without a break until all of us were done. She was fantastic, I can’t imagine having hired another make-up artist/hair stylist for the day of. Although she did bring an assistant do “prep” girls she made sure to be the one actually styling their hair and putting on their make-up. All of my bridesmaids from the palest red-head to my olive toned friend Navreet looked beautiful. She was able to highlight all of our natural features without making us look like our make-up was “caked on” or fake. Corin She listened to exactly what I wanted and had advise me when I needed it. She went above and beyond. She really is the perfect addition to any bride’s wedding day. In addition to being a skilled artist, she is generally a wonderful person. Any bride would be lucky to have someone as sweet as Corin working with them on her wedding day. J

Corin was truly a pleasure to have as my hair and make up artist for my wedding.
She is very good at what she does and she make me look truly beautiful.
She was on time for both our trial session and my wedding day session and that means the world to me, because even though she had quite a distance to drive, she made sure that she was there on time. I really appreciated it so much.
She was also so sweet and kind to work with. We exchanged many emails and text massages about the look, products and Corin was so patient and responded so quickly.

On my wedding day, she was going to do my hair and make up and my mother's make up. At the last minute, she also jumped in an helped my bridesmaids with their hair styles.
It all turned out great.

One thing that I would definitely advise is to do the trial run. This way there is enough time to go over all the details, see what works and doesn't work, some up with ideas together. Corin was really great at that. During our trial session she also go to know my hair and skin, so during the wedding session she knew exactly what to do and how long it will take so it will be all great for the big day.

I have actually modeled in the past and I had to do quite a bit with make up and hair people in the industry and I have to say that Corin could work with the best of them. She is professional, knows her craft, is very helpful and also is easy to work with.

Corin, thank you so much for making me look so good on my special day.
I will definitely use your services when I have photo shoots coming up.
And will pass on your information to friends and family, and women who need wedding hair and make up.

I am beyond happy with Corin’s services!!! I felt like a beautiful bride because of her. She was able to give me the exact look I wanted for the day. Not only was my make up gorgeous in person, it showed up beautifully in pictures. She was also able to accommodate an extra person, on day of, as well as a last minute change of location. Corin did a fantastic job on my make up and hair. On my wedding day many of my guest and bridal party commented on how great my hair and makeup looked. I was SOOO PLEASED with her work. My wedding coordinator was surprised at how reasonably priced Corin was. On the day of my wedding, Corin stayed an hour after she finished my session and waited for my photographer and videographer to arrive, to allow them the opportunity to get in some shots of me getting ready. She was super flexible and sweet about waiting around. I could not have been happier with my selection. I will recommend her to all my girlfriends. I love Corin. I had a summer beach wedding in Long Beach, CA and I live in Las Vegas and just the process of trying to find the right hair/make-up artist was difficult, especially having to do it from out of town. Looking over Corin’s website, I had a feeling that she’d do an excellent job and she absolutely did!
Corin was my all-in-one: she did my hair, eyelash extensions, make-up as well as my best friend’s hair and makeup. I strongly recommend Corin not only for the quality of her work (which is GORGEOUS!), but also for her warm, fun, and easy-going personality. It was like hanging out with an old friend. Aside from her eye for detail, I appreciated that Corin was very accommodating, flexible, and willing to travel. If I asked can we try this or add that (even after I had already done the preview/trial), it was clear that her main goal was to please her client—and I was definitely one happy (and stunning) bride =)
Also, on the morning of the wedding, Corin proved to be a huge help in calming my nerves and helping me feel confident that I looked my best. Check out her website! Call her—you won’t regret it =)

My wedding was September 24,2011 and Corin did hair and makeup for my sister and i......Corin is a really nice and talented person...Her work is exceptional...She came the weekend before my wedding for a hair trial and i had no idea what i wanted, but Corin was really helpful / she's really patient and we came out with a great hairdo....The day of the wedding she was punctual. My sister loved her makeup and hairdo...I LOVED my hair and make up i couldn't have asked for a different hair stylist ...i would definitely recommend her with my friends and family....Thank you Corin& sister...

Corin was so helpful and friendly, which helped calm my nerves. :) She was a big help and catered to any questions I had for her. My wedding day makeup was flawless, she came and made me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful. I would definitely recommend her to my girlfriends for thier weddings.

Corin is AMAZING! Not only is she super talented but really nice! She offered various suggestions about what colors would best suit my skintone, provided great little lipgloss, eyelash, and other skin care samples, and her flexibility is much appreciated. U can't go wrong with Corin :)

I was looking for a good MUA/Hair person, and was delighted that Corin found me! She's great at responding to my questions in a timely manner. Her estimated time to complete both hair and makeup was very accurate, and the result was pretty awesome! I would recommend her!

Corin Cruz was very accomodating, efficient and professional. She thoroughly explained the process, and how to care for the eyelashses following the treatment. I've already recommended her to my other friends, who enjoy eyelash extension and plan to give her repeat business in the future.

Corin was extremely professional, experienced, accomodating and prepared. She should probably charge more for her services because she made me look like I had a $300 makeup session for less than 1/3 of the price. Amazing job Corin!!

I am very satisfied with my addiction-makeup services. I love the eyelashes and the make up colors she used for me, they looked very natural but glamorous at the same time. She was very professional, flexible and affordable.
I highly recommend her for any bride's makeup.

You truly made my day special by making me feel/look so beautiful on my wedding day. Corin is amazing, I have never felt so radiant! She was also very suggestive for hairstyles for my bridesmaids that fit the style I was going for! They looked so gorgeous! She is very easy to work with and very thorough with make-up! This was a good thing but did cause us to run behind for starting pictures. None the less I will refer her & use her for her services in the future!
