The owners and ladies at Something Blue were so sweet! They made sure I had my own opinion when choosing my dress and I respect that because I felt like what I chose was all me! Even after the wedding they were so thoughtful. I highly recommend this shop! -

As a plus size bride one of my biggest concerns was finding a shop that would help me find a dress that fit and was perfect for me. On top of this, I only had about 5 months to find a dress. Before I went I was so nervous, but as soon as I stepped in the shop my nerves were eased. All of the girls felt like they could be your best friend - they were so sweet. Alyssa was my consultant and she was beyond amazing. I told her I was all over the place and had no idea what I wanted. Alyssa listened to exactly what I thought I wanted and then pulled some she thought would look good on me. To my surprise I had picked. Instead, Alyssa blew me away with one of her choices. Alyssa never pressured me to make a decision. She told me to go home and if I dreamt about the dress I knew it was the one. Well that night I dreamed about my dress.
On top of this, the day before my wedding I realized I didnt pick up my dress. Alyssa stayed late, so we could rush to Angleton and get my dress. You cant get this type of customer service anywhere else.
I am so happy to be a Something Blue Bride! People are still talking about how beautiful my dress was and people I dont know have messaged me about it. Thank you Alyssa and Something Blue for the amazing customer experience. -

Hidden Gem
So happy my coworker-friend told me about this bridal boutique tucked 40 miles away from me! After a month of stressful wedding dress shopping in different parts of Texas, I made my way to Something Blue at the end of February to find my wedding dress at a steal of a price. So sad I can’t remember the girl’s name who helped me, but every staff member there is exceptional & welcoming. I chose not to dress shop with a crowd of friends/family, but they still made it feel special during my appointment and even after. My stylist took cues from some of the dresses I’d previously tried on & what I thought I was looking for, but ultimately I picked up a gorgeous strapless, tulle mermaid style gown with a sweetheart neckline “off the floor”. It was the 4th or 5th dress I’d tried on there and I wasn’t expecting much from it until I slipped it on and she clamped me in. I immediately knew it was the one - no questions. She gave me a veil and an embellished hair clip to mimic my wedding day hairstyle and the rest was history. I also didn’t have a choice since COVID hit soon after, which I tip my hat off to them for their flexibility and coordinating me picking up my dress while businesses were closed due to the pandemic. We all had “the show must go on” mentality LOL thank you as well for recommending me to the best seamstress in all of Houston (Widad’s Couture Alterations) who worked well around COVID restrictions also. Made my wedding dreams come true! -

Dream dress
The girls at Something BLUE helped me find all of my girls dresses, mothers dresses and my dream dress! They even gave me the number of the miracle seamstress who made my dress fit like a glove!
I love in Houston, they're hands down definitely worth the hour drive to get my dream dress! I absolutely love them!! -

Something Blue was a wonderful local bridal boutique to shop at. Although I did not end up purchasing a wedding dress there, Bailey was an amazing consultant and super nice! I would highly recommend Bailey and Something Blue for your wedding dress search!! -
Chantal Sent on 12/21/2017My experience with Something Blue was absolutely perfect! I can't say enough good things. My first appointment was on a busy saturday. My appointment began promptly and I was treated as if I was the only one in the boutique. My consultant Sandie is a dream!! She is sweet, knowledgeable, pretty much everything one can hope for in a consultant. She helped me find the dress of my dreams not once but TWICE, as my wedding was postponed because of a little blessing! (my daughter). The process was wonderful every step of the way. They employ a wonderful seamstress and my dress fit PERFECT! (also alterations are affordable)
My baby sister also got her beautiful senior prom dress here. She had a great experience as well. Lots of dresses to choose from.
I recommend anyone shopping for any type dress visit this boutique before going anywhere else. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I have always dreamed of wearing a Maggie Sottero gown on my big day and Something Blue helped me pick out the perfect gown. The whole staff is extremely friendly and they will take care of you! -

Dana Sent on 12/18/2012The ladies at Something Blue are wonderful!!!! This was the 3rd place I went to after Alfred Angelo and David’s Bridal. I was hesitant to go to a boutique because I was afraid the prices would be higher, but I actually ended up getting my dress for $800 witch was much cheaper than the ones I liked at the other two places. I was nervous, frustrated, and out of time before I even walked in the door. First of all, the country hospitality they gave was wonderful. Three generations of Something Blue women were there and I had the whole shop to myself. I told her what I was looking for and she helped me pick about 8 dresses that she thought I would like. I ended up falling in love with about the 5th one. The funny thing is that I really wanted to buy a dress from them, and I ended up falling in love with my dress. They were wonderful and I would recommend Something Blue to everyone. -

Cassidy Sent on 10/05/2015Justine and all the ladies at Something Blue were fantastic. They helped me find THE perfect wedding dress! I visited several times and was so comfortable there. They were the first place I started, and I was slightly disappointed in not finding the dress on my first visit. Justine told me it is always a good thing to look different places, which I did (David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo, etc.), and couldn't find anything close to what I wanted. Nowhere came close to the atmosphere at Something Blue! I stopped back by one evening close to closing and saw a new dress on the mannequin that I "kind of" liked, and the ladies thought nothing of taking the dress off the form and helping me try it on. I fell in love! They stayed late to make sure everything was perfect and taken care of. When my dress came in, I met with Michelle to get it fitted. She works on reference from Something Blue, and her alterations were perfect. Super professional, and flexible even considering how busy she was that time of year! From my first visit, I had the best experience at Something Blue. They made wedding dress shopping fun! -

If I could give zero stars I would!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!
I bought a dress from here & was told it was perfect and the ONLY reason it was discounted was because it was discontinued. Apparently that was a lie. They knew it had rips and missing pieces in the back that I was NOT told about before buying. I couldn’t button the back myself so an employee did so for me. Never mentioned the rips or the missing clasp that was ripped off that I literally COULDNT see myself while wearing the dress. She brought it to me, helped me into it, and once done with pictures took it immediately back. Not to even get started on the beading FALLING OFF! Because of a wired tread the EMPLOYEE pulled off the dress!! My friends have apparently had this happen to them as well here. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. MOST OF THEIR MERCHANDISE IS COMPLETELY DAMAGED!! I am furious!! They’re refusing to take it back, help fix it or ANYTHING!! And while on the phone with them about this, she told me THEY KNEW ABOUT EVERY PIECE THAT WAS DAMAGED!! This is complete BS!! Attaching a few pictures of some of the damaged parts. -
