Could not have been better!

Emmy was attentive start to finish. She put together exactly what I had envisioned for my hair and makeup. Everyone in my bridal party loved their hair and makeup. I am so glad I reached out to her!!

Talented and amazing!

Emmy and her team were incredible from start to finish. She was in touch, responsive, respectful and very helpful when I wasn't quite sure what I wanted my final look to be. I felt so pretty on my wedding day- all thanks to her! Thank you Emmy!

Wonderful, Responsive, Fun and Relaxed!

Something Blu was recommended to me by a friend and I am so happy with my choice. From beginning to end, they were extremely responsive to all of my questions. I got a trial done and they were willing to try out my different ideas until we came to the perfect look. On the day of the wedding, they came to my house and were ahead of schedule most of the day. My hair stylist had an emergency the day of my wedding, but was still there to do my hair, since she was the one that did it at my trial. Something Blu sent another hairstylist to do the rest of my wedding party's hair. Everything was absolutely perfect. They nailed my wedding day look and made me feel pretty without looking overdone. Everyone that we worked with was fun and easy going and really wanted to make each girl's hair and makeup unique to them. I would definitely recommend Something Blu!

Absolutely loved my wedding hair and makeup from Something Blu. Lynda and Courtney did a fabulous job on hair and makeup for me, my 5 bridesmaids and mom. Lynda was my contact person for my wedding details and she was super responsive throughout the process. They did a great job staying on time with everyone to get us all done in time for pictures. I couldn't have asked for better hair and makeup for my wedding! 100% would recommend!

I had an incredible experience with Ainara and Lindsay!! They were both so so sweet from the moment I met them at my trial and very professional. When I got to my trial, I started with makeup with Lindsay and it was like we were old friends, she made me feel comfortable, even though I was nervous and asked all about my wedding. She patiently worked with me to get the perfect look, starting with lighter makeup and adding more until I was 100% happy!! When it came to hair, I was really nervous because I wanted something that was in between an up-do and half up/down but only had a few pictures with what I kind of liked. Ainara knocked it out of the park!!! I absolutely loved my hair, and she took a couple additional notes to make sure she incorporated some additional volume, etc on the day of.

On my wedding day, they both promptly arrived at our hotel, worked quickly but never at the expense of perfection!! They both were so patient with my bridal party and did an incredible job with their hair and makeup! Lindsay made sure to put my lashes on first thing so I could adjust to them and made my makeup just as beautiful as the trial. Ainara was extra patience with a couple changes from my mom on her hair and again, I was blown away by my hair. I got so many compliments on it and am in awe that these ladies were able to take some words and a couple pictures and completely bring my vision to life (Note: I am NOT a big girlie girl who wears makeup and does her hair a lot, so it was a challenge). Best of all, they were so much fun to have in the room while we got ready!! Highly recommend them for any event or wedding!!

Ainara was absolutely wonderful! I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, so it was important that I still felt like myself, and she listened to me and was able to deliver. I felt both like myself and also like I have never looked more beautiful. They got all my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law ready in plenty of time, and everyone looked incredible. Every time I look at pictures, I can't stop thinking how wonderful we all looked. Please make Somethingblu part of your day, you will not regret it!

Jayme and her team did an amazing job. I wanted hair and makeup done for 11 people in a short amount of time, and Jayme made it happen. I had been planning to use another vendor, but due to their unresponsiveness, decided to go with Jayme. Jayme was very responsive and took the time to talk with me and ensure that I was getting everything I wanted. She put together an amazing team, with only three weeks’ notice. When wearing makeup, I tend to break out, the airbrush makeup was light enough that I didn’t feel like I was wearing makeup, and gave a completely natural beautiful look. Natalie did my hair which was stunning, stayed in place all night, and was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend Something Blu!

I had an amazing experience with Something Blu! They were so responsive right from the beginning, and made me feel so comfortable during my trial. They were very prompt on the day of my wedding, and worked so hard to make sure that all of my bridesmaids, my mother, my MIL and I were all happy with how we looked! They were very kind and we had so much fun with them! I would highly recommend Something Blu to any bride who wants to look and feel like a princess on their wedding day!

Jayme and her team did an amazing job on our hair and make up! As one of my bridesmaids said, they are truly hair and make up artists! Something Blu was able to stick on our schedule with getting 7 bridesmaids hair and make up, 1 flower girls hair, mother of the bride make up, and my hair and make up done! They really went above and beyond to make sure everyone looked stunning, and were super fun! Thank you ladies for everything!

Something Blu is amazing! Jayme did our hair and Elyse did our makeup. They are both so professional and talented! They came early and had all 9 of us done early. They listened to what I wanted and executed it to perfection! I highly recommend Something Blu for wedding hair & makeup!

100% recommend Something Blu! From the initial inquiry, Jayme was so responsive in answering my many questions. The online portal was easy to use to sign my contract and make payments. I had both a hair and makeup trial with Jayme (hair artist) and Elyse (makeup artist). I requested minimal changes and on the day of the wedding Jayme and Elyse gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. They arrived early to the venue (actually even before me), and we were able to get started right away. Jayme was able to work seamlessly with many different hair textures, thicknesses, and cuts and everyone's hair was flawless. It also held really well throughout the whole night! Elyse made everyone feel beautiful without overdoing the makeup. I wear VERY little makeup normally and was nervous to have so much on for the wedding, including the fake lashes. But Elyse explained everything she was doing and why it was important to wear a bit more makeup than I was used to for the wedding and photos. I loved Something Blu so much I'm actually heading back to the salon this week to get my hair cut and colored by Jayme! Could not recommend Something Blu more!!!

Also of note, I am absolutely TERRIFIED of all bugs, and naturally my getting ready room was being attacked by stink bugs when all of us were getting ready. Elyse and Jayme were all over keeping me calm and inconspicuously killing the bugs and keeping them away from me. Not an ideal situation, but these girls were so professional about it!

Jayme and her team did an amazing job on our hair and make up! It was an absolute pleasure working with them. The team came one location to our hotel suite and arrived bright and early to set up. It was such a nice convenience for everyone to be able to wake up in the hotel and walk up a few floors rather than travel to a salon. All of our hair and make up looked absolutely gorgeous, and I can speak specifically for myself - it was EXACTLY what I wanted. It was perfection.

The salon was efficient to set up scheduling for wedding hair dos. Ainara did an absolutely fabulous job with the bride and her attendants and the mother of the bride. She was so nice to work with and did a great job on everyone's hair also managing to make everyone's unique. She was amazing.

Choosing Something Blu, LLC for our wedding was one of the smartest decisions I made! At my hair and makeup trial, Ainara asked a lot of questions and listened to exactly what I wanted. She made my hair and makeup look even better than I could have expected. After leaving the trial, I was confident that she was going to make me look my very best on my wedding day. She was a true professional who was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. On the day of my wedding, she made everyone look amazing. I look back at pictures and I’m even more impressed with her work. I would recommend using Something Blu, LLC for any wedding or special event.

Ainara and everybody at Something Blu are amazing! From the trial, to the spray tan, to the day of services everything was smooth, easy, and flawless. I couldn't be happier with how everything came out and all of my girls looked gorgeous. Most of them have been married or bridesmaids before, and this was the first time that whole group was happy with their whole look. It takes a lot to please that many girls. I would highly recommend!

Jayme was my hairstylist for myself and my 5 bridesmaids for my April wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards. She was absolutely fantastic from day one and always made me feel at ease, even when changing up my trial look and adding hair extensions to my updo. Jayme was always quick to respond to my emails, she arrived early to the bridal cottage and she is incredibly talented. Each of my bridesmaids had a different updo picked out and even in a time crunch she executed their looks perfectly! Did I also mention she's so sweet and we all loved having her with us as we were getting ready! Future brides, do yourself a favor and hire Jayme, you won't be dissapointed!

Something Blu did such a great job for my wedding! They did hair and makeup for me, five bridesmaids, flower girl, and mothers of the bride and groom. I had the absolute best experience with Something Blu! Jayme was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Jayme did my hair and make up, and bridesmaids' hair. Elyse did my mom's and bridesmaids' make up. I had a reception on Saturday and Sunday, and Jayme and Elyse arrived very early both days (on time) and were extremely efficient in keeping us on schedule. Both Jayme and Elyse are very skilled and knowledgeable about products and different styles. They listened to and perfectly executed everyone's different requests. They were so nice and fun, and everyone enjoyed working with them!! I cannot recommend Something Blu enough!

So many thanks to Jayme and Taylor of Something Blu for glamorizing me, my bridesmaids, and my mother on my wedding day! Our makeup and hair was flawless! I had a terrible acne breakout on my back and decided to completely change my hair style from an updo to a half up / half down style on the day of the event - no big deal for Jayme and Taylor! My experience with Jayme was nothing short of wonderful! I was able to book my trial in advance and Jayme took the time to help me paint the picture of what exactly it was I looking for. On the morning of our wedding Jayme came well equipped and arrived on site early. She stayed on schedule and was able to knock out my hair and my bridesmaid's hair ahead of schedule. I loved that Jayme made a few suggestions that improved the overall look tremendously. I couldn't have been happier with the results and my updo was exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend Jayme to anyone and wished her studio was closer so that I could go to her regularly!

The beauty team at Something Blu really outdid themselves. Having experiencing their talents for getting ready with my sister in law for her wedding, it was a no-brainer to higher them for mine! They are extremely thorough, very talented, and are able to deliver exactly what you are envisioning with hair and makeup. Something blu was absolutely amazing!!! I worked with Jayme and let me tell you she eased my mind on so many questions!!!! She was easy to work with, always responsive to questions. And helped all the ladies stick to a schedule the day of!!! She brought elyse with her and together they rocked it!!!! I am so happy I picked them to work with!!! From the first time I talked to them to the end of their time in the suite day of! Thank you thank you!!!! Also they were the most affordable for the service which was huge for the budget!!! I would absolutely without hesitation recommend!!!

Jayme from Something Blu is so phenomenal. She is super sweet, super accommodating, and very skilled at all the services she provides. She handled all the hiccups that happened on my wedding day with grace and made me feel at ease, even though our timeline fell a little behind (not because of her at all.) Jayme goes out of her way to make sure you look exactly the way that you want to on your big day. I cannot recommend her enough.

I booked Something Blu for my wedding in November 2016. At my hair and makeup trial, Ainara took my vague description of what I wanted and was able to perfectly execute it. I had a lot of questions leading up to the wedding and Jayme was always quick to respond to my emails. Jayme and Ainara did hair and makeup for me and my 7 bridesmaids as well as my friend/officiant the day of my wedding. They came to our hotel room and were attentive and efficient, listening to and executing each of our different style requests. We had to start early in the morning because there were so many of us getting hair and makeup, but everything lasted the entire day and all night (even through all the dancing!). I also love the convenience of not having to travel to the salon on your wedding day - one less thing to worry about! I highly recommend Something Blu!

Ainara at Something Blu and her team did a fabulous job on wedding day hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and me! I did a trial beforehand with her and she listened really well to what I described and offered suggestions as to how to enhance certain features. She took pictures of the finished look to make sure it would be the same on the day of. On our wedding day she arrived promptly with her team and made everyone look beautiful! Both our hair and makeup lasted the whole day (from a 2 PM ceremony to the reception end at 10 PM).

I would highly recommend you to hire Something Blu for your wedding. They were extremely professional, friendly and made my wedding day super convenient. I absolutely loved Jayme from Something Blu! She was super flexible and accommodating and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I loved my hair and make up and she listened to and understood everything I requested and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend Something Blu to anyone. I contacted Something Blu, LLC within two weeks of my wedding day in need of a second stylist due to the other company I chose not having a second stylist available. It was very stressful looking for a stylist at the last minute knowing companies get booked months in advance. But to my surprise, they were available and I could not be more grateful that they were. Jayme contacted me immediately and took all my stress away as she started the process right away and was very efficient and responsive. When I met her the day of the wedding, she was wonderful and has such a friendly personality. She did all of my bridesmaids hair and my mothers hair. She listened to what they had envisioned and gave suggestions/recommendations accordingly. Ainara, Jayme, and Leire helped me and my girls get ready for my wedding a few weeks ago. They were an absolute dream to work with from the moment I first contacted them. They are super responsive by email, it was easy to set up a hair and makeup trial and at the trial they put me at ease and really took the time to understand my preferences and vision. On wedding day they were absolute magicians, they made us all look fabulous and made sure we ready at the time we needed to be ready. I would highly recommend this team!

Jayme and Kira were wonderful to work with. Jayme was quick in her response, flexible in her time and kept an alarm on her phone to keep the wedding party on time! I thought they were super efficient and did beautiful work. The makeup lasted the entire event and was flawless and the hair was beautiful. I can't say enough about working with Something Blu! They did such a wonderful job, they traveled to my venue in Luray, VA and did all the hair for the bridesmaids and some of our makeup and it was all done in a timely manner and they made it so much fun to get ready together at the same time! This is a wonderful company! They travel to you on your wedding day and will bring in as many hair and make-up artists as you need. They do a wonderful job and make sure to ask questions as they are doing your hair/make up to make sure that you are getting just what you want. They offer hair and make up trials for the bride and do a good job of listening to any changes you suggest. Very pleasant to work with! They do a good job of communicating with you prior to the wedding day so that everything runs very smoothly. I would highly recommend them!

No need to look further! These ladies know what they are doing, and they do it with friendly professionalism and artistic flair, at extremely reasonable rates! I liked that they have their own salon for their trial, which made it convenient to meet with them and consult with them, while also providing the wonderful at-wedding services. They came promptly for my wedding this past weekend and were totally pleasant and wonderful to work with. Jayme does a beautiful job with makeup, providing looks that are flawless, glamorous, yet soft and natural at the same time. My hair was PERFECT and it's not easy to work with my straight Asian hair; yet she created a fabulous wavy updo. Everyone, even kids, were in awe of how I looked afterwards! She seemed to genuinely love her job and beautiful things and ideas. Trust me, you will be in excellent hands with these ladies!

I had a wonderful experience with Something Blu and Jayme who was my stylist. I wasn't actually sure how I wanted my hair to look so after a conversation with Jayme at my trial, she created an up-do that was gorgeous! I was so happy with how my hair looked and received so many compliments! From my trial to my wedding day, I was treating professionally yet personally as Jayme listened and advised me on how my hair might look best for my big day. She replied promptly to my many emails, adding her input, when I was looking for a hair clip to purchase after the hair trial. On the wedding day, Jayme did beautiful work with my bridesmaids hair without ever having met them before, as they were from out of town. And she was awesome and calm when I had a minor emergency right before I was supposed to leave the room. I recommend Something Blu for your event...you will not be disappointed!

Liz and Jayme are amazing. The bridesmaids and moms’ hair looked amazing and all the girls were very pleased. Most had photos of what they wanted and Jayme and Liz made the hairstyle look identical to the photo. As the bride, they made sure I was comfortable and relaxed and that my hair was perfect! By the end of the night, my hair looked the exact same as it did in the morning! These girls are very professional and so much fun - they truly made the whole process wonderful!

Working with Ainara and Leire was an amazing experience - I was so lucky to have them with me, my mom and the bridesmaids the day of the wedding. They came to our venue to do our hair & makeup and even though they were under a tight timeline they were able to get everyone done in time for pictures (which we did prior to the ceremony). After the hair / makeup trial, it was clear that I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do for my hairstyle... Ainara was patient with me as we talked about different style options and even set up a pinterest board for me so we could pin different styles - she ended up doing a perfect combination of my top 3 favorites - it was perfect! I would absolutely recommend them to any & everyone looking for an onsite beauty stylists - they made my day wonderful!!

We LOVED our experience with Jayme and Ainara from Something Blu! They arrived on time at our venue which made everything so convenient (trust me---not having to be driving all around on the morning of your wedding makes for a much more relaxed bride!!!). They made excellent time on all seven of us. They did BEAUTIFUL work! Everyone's hair looked amazing and they were sure to touch us up as much as we wanted before they left. If you are on the fence about makeup services I would definitely recommend going for it. The makeup is perfectly done that it will look good in pictures, but also not the kind where someone would be like WHOA too much. Thank you so much Jayme and Ainara for making me feel like the prettiest girl in the world on my wedding day :)

Ainara, Leire, and Jayme were the best!!! Felt so VIP at their salon getting ready for my wedding with just the wedding party in there. Had snacks, coffee, champagne and water out for us which was a really nice touch. Really appreciated that. They all did an AWESOME job and everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfect all night even on a really hot and humid night. I loved how they came up with a schedule that made sense so nobody was sitting around waiting for everyone else to finish. Not to mention it was finished exactly when I wanted it to be. Something Blu was amazing. I love that they come on-site for hair and makeup. No need to travel on an already busy day. The girls arrived on time and completed the bridal party, mothers, and myself according to my time schedule, with even time for any touch ups. I highly recommend Something Blu for your wedding day. My mother has been going to Liz for many years and has always spoken highly of her so of course we wanted to work with her on my wedding day. I did cut, color, trial and wedding day hair style with Liz and her co-workers styled my bridesmaids hair. Everyone was punctual, very professional, upbeat and friendly. I would say that im rather particular and on my wedding day I was a bundle on nerves. Something Blu was extremely accommodating, flexible and skilled which made the process go smoothly. I booked Something Blu for my wedding in September 2017 and they made getting ready so relaxing and so much fun! At my hair trial, Jayme worked with me to come up with a hair style that would go well with my vintage wedding theme. She tried one hair style, which I liked, but then left enough time to try a slightly different style, which I just loved! I felt like she wanted me to be extremely happy, and I left so excited for my wedding day! Elyse was just as great with my make up trial. She helped me choose colors that I normally wear, but kicked everything up a notch, and I loved the result! I wear very natural-looking make up on a regular basis, and she did a great job making me feel beautiful but not overly made up. She let me go home and look at my pictures and give her feedback about a few tweaks to make on the wedding day. Ainara joined Jayme and Elyse on my wedding day and she did such an amazing job with my bridesmaids--they looked just stunning! I got married at a B&B and loved the fact that Something Blu could come to my venue on the wedding day. Ainara, Jayme and Elyse also did the hair and make up of close family and friends involved in our wedding. We used a big room at our wedding venue for the hair/make up prep and all of the ladies had an absolute blast getting beatified! Our Something Blu team arrived early to accommodate everyone and finished ahead of schedule, so had time to fit in one more make up session for a bridesmaid who originally declined make up services, but after seeing how great everyone looked, asked to get her make up done, too! Everyone was so happy with their hair and make up (even those who don't normally get professional hair and make up services) and everyone looked great even at the end of the night! Jayme was easy to get ahold of and very quick in responding to my questions. I highly recommend Something Blu for any size bridal party. They were efficient and a pleasure to work with!

I would highly recommend Something Blu to others!! We had Ainara, Breanna, and Elyse for hair and makeup. They did a wonderful job. It was so nice to have 3 stylists for the amount of girls that needed beauty services. I had a trial with Ainara several months back and she had a lot of great ideas. She definitely captured the look I was going for! Something Blu provided hair and makeup services for my bridesmaids, flower girl and me. Everyone looked stunning! It was nearly 90 degrees and humid on the day of my wedding and everyones hair and makeup stayed in place nicely. Ainara and team arrived early on my wedding day to set up. They were well prepared. We actually finished getting ready earlier than expected, which was great!! I booked a spray tan with Ainara the Wednesday before my wedding and it turned out great! I had never had a spray tan before so I was a bit nervous, but I received so many compliments on it!! Something Blu did a wonderful job!
