  We booked Jen and her daughter Sarah for our destination wedding without meeting them. Jen was very responsive to answer questions. And I really loved her light/airy style and that she focused on capturing genuine moments rather than cheesy poses. My husband especially hates pictures so I didn’t want to make him further uncomfortable by hiring someone who would pose us awkwardly. Their price was also extremely affordable compared to other photographers that were recommended by our venue. The day of Jen and Sarah gave us very little direction and just let us be ourselves. We also barely noticed them at the wedding except during key moments (portraits, cake cutting). They were completely unobtrusive flies on the wall and the results were so many beautiful photos. They further blew us away after the wedding. My mom had ordered photos off the website link and couldn’t get them to crop properly and accidentally ordered photos of our heads cut off. Jen sent her a beautiful box of the photos (cropped correctly), wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon.

  We just recently received our pictures back from Soltren Photography from our wedding on April 4th of this year. For those of you looking for a short review I will say that the pictures are gorgeous, I felt like a rockstar and they captured all of our most important moments from that day. In addition, they were flexible, open to feedback and wonderful to work with. For those looking for more details, please read on. We received over 1000 beautiful pictures from the wedding day. Jen captured the shots that we requested along with hundreds of candid shots. Some of the pictures were so beautiful they made me tear up. She and Sarah (her daughter and extremely talented second photographer) captured not only the artistic, beautiful, magazine quality shots but also the candid, fun free spirited shots. They really captured the essence of our day and every time I look at the pictures I am so thankful we hired Soltren photography. Now the only problem I have is deciding which ones to blow up into canvas size, there are SO MANY amazing shots! Feedback/Communication: I prefer email communication and I think Jen prefers text/phone. What I REALLY appreciated is that I was able to share candid, honest feedback with her and even if she was upset, she NEVER showed it. She even sent me an email a few days before the pictures were ready just to let me know she was still working on them and hadn't forgotten about us. Summary: You will not regret a relationship with Soltren photography. There is a reason that you see all of Jen's clients returning to her with maternity pictures and family pictures. Once you have found the perfect photographer, you never need to look for another one.

At the end of your wedding, all you have is your photography to reflect and remember your big day. I am so lucky and grateful that we found Soltren through online reviews. Jen and Miguel met with us 6 months prior to our wedding to discuss their pricing and services. They were enthusiastic, professional, hard working and definitely very passionate about their work. For the day of the wedding, they were timely and followed a schedule that we put together 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding. They are such great people to work with, made us and all our guests so happy and comfortable in front of the camera. Soltren will provide you with all the photos online that you can download with a code they provide to you. Each of the photos were edited!   Jennifer Soltren is the sweetest person ever and the best photographer you could possibly have! We would hire her again in a heartbeat! We absolutely adore our wedding photos and will truly cherish them for the rest of our lives! We are so excited to decorate our home with her beautiful work! We will definitely be contacting her again for future shoots such as maternity, newborn, family photos, etc. We could not possibly recommend her enough! :)

  I had such an amazing experience with Soltren Photography! They made sure they took every single priceless moment, their attention to detail was amazing. I look through every photo and its as if I'm reliving that day and that's exactly how it should be. I,without a doubt would choose them all over again :)

  She was AMAZING such a sweet and caring person !!! Made everything super easy for me, any questions I had she answered, so professional, artistic, always listened to what we wanted. I couldnt be happier! From the moment I met her and she said, " Its all about the bride" I knew she was the one !!! I love everything shes done for us and Im so glad we found her! And her daughter's cake pops were awesome and yummy I highly reccommend them for any occasion!!

  My husband and I hired another photographer for our wedding. Not even 24 hours before we said "I Do," the other photographer called to let me know she was not going to be able to make it because she was sick but she was sending in a replacement and another 2nd shooter. I was devastated.
  We waited four months before getting our wedding photos back from the other photographer and when we saw them my heart sank all over again. Jen was our second shooter and I had been in contact with her during the four months we waited for our photos. She was kind enough to blog some photos that she took because the photographer we hired wouldn't. Out of the 1100 photos we received, most of the pictures that Jen blogged were not on there. I couldn't even look at my wedding photos without crying. Knowing what my husband and I were going through with the actual photographer we hired, and knowing how I felt, Jen sent us a disc of her edited photos. In addition were a large gift bag full of prints and other goodies. We were totally floored by her generosity and blown away by her photos.
  Looking back, Jen is the definition of a professional wedding photographer. She was the "fly on the wall" who captured amazing shots on such a special day in our lives. After the fiasco that we went through I never thought I would be able to look at our wedding photos with anything more than distaste. Jen single-handedly gave us back the good memories of that day. We are eternally grateful for everything that she has done to help us and cannot recommend her and her services enough to anyone.

  Jenn Soltren is, without question, the most extraordinary photographer you will find . When I look at my pictures I am thankful that I chose Jenn as my wedding photographer. She has a talent for capturing details and telling the story of your day, as well as going above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

  We booked Jen after seeing her work at our friend’s wedding and we were amazed at how her pictures turned out and how professional she was. It is a family business so we loved that even more. Her husband was hilarious and her daughter too! They worked with us at our engagement session and I got to say if you are looking for a photographer use this moment to learn the styles of your photographer and break the ice. It made it so much easier on our wedding day knowing how to turn and pose just for her. We loved the fact that she was so happy when we announced we preferred an unplugged ceremony since she was updating her contract at the moment and we both hated selfie sticks at weddings or phone face. I felt safe with her and her team and didn’t worry about them running off with my dress, or shoes. (Unlike another one of my friends whose photographer ruined her dress by hanging it off a fire sprinkle!!!) I was in cloud 9 and stress free especially since I separated enough time for everything to get done in a timely manner and were so happy they were there to help me even move signs around and keep my guest well behaved. Thank You Soltren for being amazing. Also they live in a boat, I mean how amazing is that!!!!!
