My husband and I got married at Solé East in September. Solé East was everything we dreamed of for our wedding venue. Cindi and her team were very helpful and accommodating. Solè East will now always be a special place, not only for us, but our entire family. Over a month later, and all our people still can’t stop taking about how much they enjoyed the day and how much they loved the venue. We also wanted to make sure that Thomas (hotel manager) gets a special shoutout. He was a superstar all weekend and is just an awesome asset for future brides to count on. He received countless amounts of compliments from our family for being incredibly accommodating.

We had the absolute time of our lives at our wedding at Sole East in September. Sole feels like a hidden oasis tucked into the back streets of Montauk. We knew we wanted to get married in Montauk, and we wanted a venue with on site accommodations, so we could really spend time with our guests all weekend. We were exhausted in our search, and walked into Sole on a whim without an appointment at the end of an exhausting day of fruitless venue tours. They could've easily turned us away and told us to come back when we had an appointment. Instead, the front desk person Thomas greeted us with warmth, despite the venue being busy and in the middle of hosting a fundraising event. He invited us to sit by the bar and listen to the music, while he found Cindi, who runs the venue. Thomas told us to grab drinks on the house, and Cindi, despite being busy running the fundraiser, welcomed us in, gave us a brief tour, and invited us to stay for the event. We also got a real sense of community from the guests at Sole, which we loved. We knew that Sole was our place. We used Cindi as our day of coordinator, and she was wonderful to work with. Always open to calls, willing to help and offer suggestions at every turn, and handling my absolute nightmare of a father with patience, kindness, and professionalism (which he did not deserve IMO). From the moment we showed up for the wedding on Thursday, Cindi took care of everything. We gave her all of our decor, signage, etc. and we did not have to think about anything. The staff was also so incredible and so kind. Many of them were Colombian, and my husband's family is Colombian and his parents don't speak English, so it was great to have some native Spanish speakers to help them feel comfortable and at ease. We did our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, reception & day after brunch all at Sole. All the events went beautifully and the food was incredible. The venue is also so beautiful that it felt like we didn't need to spend a crazy amount on florals and decor. One of the huge advantages of Sole vs other venues that don't have tent, tables, and flatware costs built in, is that Sole has exclusive vendors they work with and coordinate with, so you don't have to worry about any of that. Their per person fee is also way more reasonable than most other Montauk venues. We didn't feel nickel and dimed at any point and Cindi was always willing to be flexible with our needs and work within our budget, and all additional costs were clear and up front. When we went for our tasting, it was raining, which I was happy about because it gave us peace of mind to see that despite it being a venue really meant for an outdoor wedding, we could see how they are easily able to shift and still create a great day with inclement weather. We had perfect weather for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first half of our reception. Halfway through the reception it POURED and then turned into lighter rain. Despite it being fully grass (other than the dance floor) under the tent, we remained fully dry. And running out to dance in the rain was so fun! It was a bummer that we couldn't do s'mores though. And speaking of the dance floor, it was the perfect size for our wedding. My biggest wedding pet peeve is a dance floor that is too small, but also you don't want it too big and it feels empty. Overall, it was an incredible weekend, and if you are considering a mtk wedding, you must check out Sole East!

We adored hosting our wedding at sole east, and had a wonderful experience. We chose Sole because it's one of our favorite hotels and a place where we have many special memories even before our wedding day- and now our appreciation for Sole has only grown.  Our tasting felt so special and we had a great weekend staying there. Most importantly, everything was beautiful, fun, and flawless on our big day.

Some East had a gorgeous, enchanted property that was the perfect setting for our big day. The food is delicious, drinks were great, and everything came together beyond perfectly. The vibe is unbeatable and the entire experience was truly perfect. 

We hope to return every year to relive our memories and continue creating new ones. Huge thank you to the whole Sole team for making our wedding so perfect and beautiful and for always making us feel so welcome!

We had our dream wedding at Sole East! They were flexible, caring, and professional, and they were there to support us every step of the way. The lush gardens were the perfect backdrop inside and out of the tent, and the beautifully renovated restaurant and bar blew our guests away.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at Sole East, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. Nestled in the heart of Montauk, Sole East is a special place that perfectly captures the charm and serenity of the area. From the stunning venue to the incredible staff, every detail was perfect, creating memories we’ll cherish forever.

The ceremony on the yoga deck was breathtaking, with an idyllic setting surrounded by lush greenery and tranquility. It provided a magical backdrop for our vows, making the moment unforgettable for us and our guests. The newly renovated backyard bar and restaurant added a chic, inviting space for our reception, perfectly blending Montauk’s laid-back charm with elegant, modern touches.

One of the things we loved most about Sole East was how everything we needed was right on-site. From the ceremony to the reception, rehearsal dinner, and welcome drinks, the entire weekend flowed seamlessly without the need for transportation or logistics. With the boutique hotel accommodating all our guests, it created a warm, communal atmosphere that brought everyone together. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the property’s inviting vibe felt like a mini getaway for everyone. Knowing our friends and family could safely walk back to their rooms at the end of the night made the weekend stress-free and even more special.

Our wedding weekend began with a rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks, both hosted on the property. Chef Eduardo created a special lobster and seafood menu for the rehearsal dinner, which was such a meaningful touch. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the delicious food. The welcome drinks were originally planned outdoors, but with a potential rain forecast, the Sole East team quickly moved everything under the tent. They created a cozy, vibrant atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home.

The reception under the tent was stunning. The decor perfectly reflected our vision, with elegant touches that complemented the natural beauty of the space. The day-of coordinators went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together seamlessly. The dinner was served family-style, which added a warm, communal touch to the evening. The dishes were plentiful, served hot, and beautifully presented. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, and it was a highlight of the night.

To cap off the weekend, we hosted a Sunday brunch on-site. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to our guests, featuring a delicious breakfast in a warm, relaxed setting. It gave everyone a chance to reflect on the weekend, share their favorite moments, and end the celebration on a high note.

The service at Sole East was truly exceptional. Sean, the restaurant manager, ensured every detail was handled perfectly. Bartenders Kamal, Alfonzo, Andy, and Kevin added personality and energy to the events, keeping the drinks flowing. Thomas and Lisa at the front desk welcomed and cared for everyone, while Sue, our day-of coordinator, brought everything together seamlessly. Owners Cindi and Dave, along with Tom and Jean, added personal touches that made us feel like part of the Sole East family.

Planning with Sole East was a dream. The team was responsive, organized, and so supportive throughout the entire process. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel effortless, and their expertise helped us create the wedding of our dreams.

I cannot express how grateful we are for the wonderful experience we had at Sole East for my daughter, Courtney and son-in-law, Logan's wedding. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Thomas at the front desk was incredibly helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our stay, as well as our guests' stay, was pleasurable.

The entire staff treated everyone like royalty, and their professionalism shone through, especially when we had to make a last-minute decision to move the ceremony inside the tent due to rain. The team jumped into action, and their seamless execution turned what could have been a stressful situation into a beautiful moment. While everyone dreams of a sunny wedding day, Sole East's "Plan B" was just as stunning.

The food was excellent, and having our guests stay at the resort made the entire weekend even more enjoyable. It was a delight to hang out with everyone in such a beautiful setting.

Sole East, a wedding venue of unmatched elegance, provided a truly exquisite experience. They made you feel as if the place was made for your day, not just pumping out another wedding. Cindi, her husband Dave, and Sue were amazing, displaying exceptional responsiveness and understanding in every situation.

Despite being closed, Cindi made it a priority to promptly address any issues or questions we had. Sue's efforts in switching and booking rooms were seamless and greatly appreciated, alleviating pressure and providing a smooth experience. Their dedication and professionalism truly made our time at Sole East unforgettable.

The Manager, Tom, and front office worker, Lori played a vital and supportive role, adding to the unforgettable charm of our special day. We highly recommend them for their Personable and thoughtful service. Hopefully, we can get back soon to try out the new pool and restaurant.

We had our June 2023 wedding at Sole and it was lovely. We had to move our ceremony inside last minute due to the weather and they were super helpful and supportive to get everything done. Cindi was patient with all our questions and always had a solution or the answer for us. They kept everything easy, beautiful and fun! If you want a laidback, naturally beautiful property, with great food, great drinks and a fun and extremely helpful staff, go with Sole!

Our June summer wedding at Solé East was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we set foot on the grounds, we knew we had found the perfect place for our special day. The grounds of Solé East are an oasis, offering such a serene and tranquil ambiance. Sue and Cindi (and also Dave and Thomas) were an absolute dream to work with. From the initial planning stages to the actual day, they were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was executed flawlessly. Their expertise and dedication truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our celebration to the fullest. In addition, Rob, the restaurants manager was exceptional! He went the extra mile to ensure not only the excellence of the food and drinks but also the flawless execution of every detail! He was a phenomenal asset to the entire weekend and was with us every step of the way from the rehearsal dinner to the reception, and the after party. The food and drinks the entire weekend were outstanding and added to the overall enjoyment of the celebration! Solé Easts commitment to creating a fun and memorable experience for us and our guests was evident in every moment of the weekend. My husband and I are so happy we chose Solé East for our wedding and wish we could do it all over again!

Sole East brought our wedding dreams to life! Over the course of the wedding weekend, Cindi, Dave, Sue, Thomas and the whole Sole team made themselves available to help with any need of ours. They were especially amenable to last minute changes and swiftly changing direction due to inclement weather. Not only was the venue beautiful and the food excellent, the ease of having our guests on the property was an added benefit providing a seamless experience. We are so grateful to Sole East for making our day perfect!

Solé East was an absolute dream venue for my wedding in June 2022! The grounds are naturally gorgeous, the location can’t be beat, the rooms are affordable by Montauk standards, and most importantly the events team, especially Cindi, is a joy to work with.

The location offered multiple different backdrops and areas for photo opportunities and with how lush and green the property is, any floral decorations we had only made it look more elevated and beautiful. We were able to create a classy, formal, garden party feeling with crystal chandeliers hanging from the tent during the reception and music from our band perfectly projected on our dance floor. We went with a South of France themed wedding after COVID interrupted our original plan for a destination wedding in SOF, and the Solé East team helped to curate a custom menu including an appetizer with fig and cheese garnished with lavender and rosemary roasted chicken for dinner. Start to finish, the F&B service, which is handled in house, far exceeded even our high expectations.

All of our friends and family were able to stay on site with a variety of room sizes and the parking was complementary. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the beach, which our friends with kids loved.

My husband and I would highly recommend hosting your wedding at Solé East and can’t wait to return year after year to celebrate our anniversaries! Thank you Cindi and team!

Our wedding at Sole East was what a wedding should be. The most memorable day / evening of our lives. There are far too many highlights to include in a review, but just to name a couple that immediately come to mind. First - Cindi, Dave, Sue & the rest of the Sole East staff are the most accommodating, gracious and personable people that you could ever work with. What we did not want going into our wedding was a place that felt like a wedding factory. We were looking for a personalized / customized experience at a beautiful Montauk venue. We had that experience and more. We really feel that we got to customize our wedding, and the entire team at Sole was very responsive to our individualized requests. As a result of Sole East, we were able to achieve the wedding we always envisioned. Second, the food is impeccable, perfect and fresh. I feel like "wedding food" is normally never very good, and people mainly care about drinks and dancing, but many guests went out of their way to tell us how amazing the food is, which I know isn't just to be nice because they didn't have to say anything at all ! While we were setting up, a local fisherman showed up with a large amount of fresh fish that we later learned that was all for our wedding (they clearly have great relationships with local fisherman). Third, we chose to do family style which guests loved because they were able to try everything. I was a bit concerned with how family style would work if tables ran out, wanted more of something, etc. This was not a concern whatsoever! There was a plentiful amount of delicious food. Lastly, the wines sourced from a local Northfork winery were all incredible as well. Thank you everyone at Sole East. Needless to say, we highly recommend Sole East as a wedding venue!

Sole East was where my husband and I originally would stay when visiting Montauk. Therefore, when choosing a Wedding Venue we already had our hearts set on it. We weren't sure how that would be possible as every year Montauk gets more competitive. However, Cindi, Sue, Dave and the whole team at Sole made it possible! I don't know how to exactly put it into words, but Sole East Resort is everything that is Montauk. It is easy, beautiful and like a breath of fresh air. We wanted our guests to enjoy the whole weekend and everything that Montauk has to offer from the surf to the food. Having all our guests on location made it like one huge party all weekend and it really gave us time to reconnect with our guests without having to put it all in one day! The day of the wedding I never had to worry about a thing. Cindi and the staff made sure the timeline was perfect and that all our needs were met; they coordinated with my vendors and really made it possible for my husband and I to just fully enjoy the day! The blooms in the garden were beautiful and added to the ceremony. Everyone was so accommodating and the staff was always in high spirits! The food was amazing (local caught seafood) and I honestly cannot recommend Sole East enough. It was the best party of my life and all our friends are still talking about how they didn't leave the dance floor all night.

Sole East Resort was the dream wedding/reception venue for myself and my husband! The venue is absolutely stunning, the food amazing, and drinks yummy - what else could you want? Also, we found the pricing very competitive for the area and felt everything was amazing quality. We originally had a 2020 date and when the pandemic hit, Cindi and Sue of Sole East were amazing working with us to get a new date in 2021.

We honestly can't recommend Sole East enough. They were incredible top to bottom. The venue is amazing, the restaurant there and the food are top notch, and the staff there are as nice as you'll find anywhere else. And, they were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. Our wedding there was honestly perfect. We can't wait to go back to celebrate again!

From 6/18 until 6/21/21 we stayed at Sol East for our son and daughter in law's wedding. From arrival to departure we experienced professionalism, kindness, wonderful family-like environment. The rooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful. Everything we needed under one roof. The wedding under the tent and the ceremony on the grounds were breath taking. Kudos to all. If you are considering an event at Sole East, you will not be disappointed. We had dinner Friday poolside, wedding rehearsal brunch poolside on Saturday, and the wedding on Sunday. Cannot commend them enough. The food was great!
I especially liked the family feeling I felt. There were other guests from adults, to kids, to family pets. They too added to the family like setting of Sole East.
Again, I can't say enough. Sole East made our son and daughter in law's special day more than special, they made it a memory, pressed between the pages of our minds. Thank you, thank you, thank you. In these trying times, stay safe, stay well. Thumbs up to Sole East!

My husband and I got married at Sole East in May of 2019. We could not have been happier with the way the day turned out. Cindi, Dave & Sue were all so helpful and attentive throughout the process (planning, helping with vendors, the day of, etc.). The venue itself is beautiful. From cocktail hour in the gardens, to dancing in the tent and ending the night with s’mores by the fire pit, everything was perfect. We loved that our signature cocktail was passed around to all the guests when they arrived. They were beautifully garnished and the passed appetizers were delicious. Our guests were so impressed with dinner as well. It was fresh, delicious and just as yummy as when we had our wedding tasting. We had the best night and we are so glad that we chose to do it at Sole. We did not feel the “wedding stress” at all thanks to Cindi and Sue. We highly recommend Sole to any couples planning on getting married in Montauk. We have been back a couple times since and we are so glad that we have such a special place to continue to visit and relive the memories.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Sole East! The venue itself is beautiful and a great set-up; the majority of our guests stayed at the hotel, so they loved the convenience (lounging around the pool during the day, dining at the Backyard restaurant, etc.) The garden is absolutely breathtaking and the perfect size such that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception feel like separate areas but naturally flow from one to the other. Cindi and Sue were also professional, responsive and easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding and on the big day! Picking Sole East was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning.

From start to finish Cindi, Dave, Sue and the team at Sole East Resort made our wedding day perfect. They could not have been more accomodating and easy to work with. The grounds are beautiful and the food is incredible. Our guests, many of who stayed right on the property, remarked that our wedding was one of the nicest they have ever attended. While we decided to have our ceremony at the Montauk Lighthouse, it is an option to have your ceremony right on property . There was a beautiful flow to the entire day, drinks flowed from start to finish and the food at our cocktail hour and dinner was both delicious and plentiful. Cindi was on hand all day making sure everything flowed flawlessly. Being able to seamlessly transition into the hotel restaurant from our reception tent for the after party was amazing, with our guests just walking across the lawn to get there! Our DJ was able to set up a second set of turn tables earlier in the day so that there was no delay in the after party music. All of our vendors loved working with the Sole team , our photographer loved the grounds which offered a perfect backdrop for our pictures and the florist remarked that working in such a beautiful venue made her job easier. If you are planning a wedding in Montauk Sole East Resort is the place to go. I highly recommend !

Highly recommend Sole East Resort for a wedding. We were married there the last weekend of September 2019 and everything was absolutely perfect. Cindi, Sue, Dave and team were extremely helpful, transparent, and professional throughout the entire process. Through all the emails/ calls with our family and various vendors, the walkthrough and tasting, to the weekend and event itself, Cindi and Sue went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, the vendors were informed, and that our guests were taken care of. Having the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party on the sole grounds made everything super simple and (relatively) stress free. We received many complements on how everything flowed seamlessly and how the general vibe enabled everyone to let loose and really enjoy the night/weekend. We also received a number of complements on how fresh and tasty the food tasted and how wonderful the service was. The staff in general were super helpful throughout the weekend in terms of ensuring the grounds were setup to be taken advantage of- e.g. firewood ready for late night s’mores, giant games on the lawns, heated pool, etc. Overall, a very well-run operation, friendly staff that went above and beyond, and beautiful grounds. It was a perfect weekend!

Getting married at Sole East was the best decision we made! It was so BEAUTIFUL, the food was AMAZING, the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and everything went off without a hitch! We felt so taken care of that weekend and all of our guests were raving about everything the food to the venue itself. Best venue!!

At the risk of sounding cliche, Solé East made all of our dreams come true. From the beautiful landscaping to the most amazing and friendly staff, and everything in between, everything was truly perfect down to the last detail. We cannot thank Cindi, Sean, and David enough for building such a perfectly well-oiled machine.

I don't even know where to begin. Let's start with the food. WOW. The restaurant operates at 100% all weekend, especially during the reception. The entire weekend, there was not one single less-than-great meal; our entire party staying at the hotel was obsessed and couldn't wait for their next meal.

The food at the reception? Often times, people say they don't go to a wedding for the food because it's usually not great. But not with Solé East. The food they serve comes straight from the restaurant with precise restaurant quality with every dish. They offer both single meals and family style, which we went with. Originally, there was some skepticism about family style, but trust us, it's the right choice. Everyone enjoys getting a bit of everything.

Next, let's talk about the staff. Thomas and Laurie were so kind and made sure everything was going smoothly during our stay. They were gracious to solve any problem or issue we were having, whether it be something with our room or needing to get in contact with somebody. They were always available to help; they are simply such nice people.

Third, I want to talk about how beautiful the grounds are. The landscaping is immaculate and perfect for outdoor weddings. It looked like a scene out of a fairytale; everything was maintained so beautifully.

We also want to mention how great and helpful Sue is. She made it so easy and was so accommodating when it came to helping our guests book the rooms. She was able to cater to everyone's needs and requests, making every guest have an even more wonderful stay.

Lastly, we want to thank Cindi, Sean, and David one last time. Without their tireless efforts to make sure everything went according to plan, our wedding wouldn't have been what it was. Regardless of how everything went, our wedding would have been perfect, but they made sure all our dreams came true. They truly deserve ALL the flowers.

Usually when people think of magic, they think of Disney World, but after our experience at Solé East, that's where we know the magic is.

We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at Sole East Resort in June of 2023. The location is prime in Montauk and has great access to town and the beach. The events team was very helpful in working with us to make our vision come to life. The venue lends itself to having the full event on site for a seamless day. The grounds are beautiful and the tent setups works perfectly to make it your own. Cindi and Sue are very communicative and made us feel at ease throughout the process. They were always happy to answer our many questions and jump on a phone call to talk through our vision. They kept the whole day running smoothly from start to finish. Rob, the manager of the restaurant went above and beyond as well. The bar team came up with delicious custom cocktails and ensured everyone was well fed and hydrated. The food all weekend was great and the family style setting was prefect for our guests to take their fill. We had the best day and are grateful we found Sole East!

Sole East is absolutely amazing! We were looking for a venue with the ceremony, reception, and lodging all on -site to create a fun and convenient weekend in Montauk for our guests. We had over 200 people attend, and every person had the time of their lives! Many guests commented that it felt like staying in a big beach house with all of our loved ones. The grounds are magical, the food is delicious, the staff is great, and the wedding was everything we dreamed of.

We had our wedding at Sole East last fall and we could not have been happier with how the entire weekend went. The day of the wedding was self-contained on the hotel grounds so no one had to worry about transportation between venues, and the party could just keep on flowing all evening. Most of our guests were able to stay on site, and those that didn’t could gather in the restaurant or by the pool before the ceremony. The was never any downtime between the ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner and the after party.

The staff and service were also excellent. There was a rough storm the night before the wedding, but the staff worked hard all morning to return the grounds to beautiful condition. All of our guests raved about the food during the cocktail hour and the reception. Cindi and Sue were the main point of contacts and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding process. We ended up using them as our day of coordinator and felt that they stayed on top of everything all day, and handled a number of last minute accommodations given we had uncertain weather. We received tons of compliments about the property and how beautiful it was (it photographed beautifully as well). I would highly recommend Sole East for anyone looking to get married out in MTK.

Overall experience was great. The venue was perfect. It easily fit our group of 250 inside the tent, it even felt spacious. The food at both the cocktail hour and reception was just as good as the tasting. The staff at the event did a great job. Bartenders, waiters, waitresses etc all were professional, friendly and always available to assist. The management team was superb; knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend Sole East to anyone considering an outdoor wedding; we could not have asked for a better overall experience!
