Decemeber was amazing!
When we decided that we were getting married in KC while living in NYC, we knew we needed a wedding planner to help ease the stress of planning an out of state wedding. After interviewing multiple planners, Decemeber was clear fit for our personalities and style. I would highly recommend her and her team. -

When you are planning a wedding, it seems that every time you turn around. there is another expense. Without a doubt, hiring Lynsey Waldman of Soiree Event Designs was the very best money we spent in planning my daughter's wedding. Even my husband agrees with that! We hired her for "month of" planning, but she was available long before that for questions, referrals, and advice. I wanted to enjoy my daughter's wedding and not worry that the linens were delivered, or how to line up the bridal party, or a million other concerns that I didn't know how to deal with. Lynsey was confident, competent, cheerful, and abreast of even the smallest details. She knew answers to questions we never thought to ask. Our wedding was at the Midland Theater so it was not exactly one stop shopping like at a hotel, for instance. I cannot recommend her highly enough. -

Decemeber was a dream come true on our wedding day. We took care of the bulk of planning ourselves, but once we got closer to the day we were 100% ready to check out. Decemeber made this possible by taking over the reigns the month of the wedding and handling all of our vendor communications. Our big day could not have been more amazing and we highly recommend her services! -

How do I begin? Having Decemeber as our wedding planner was the BEST decision we ever made! Decemeber is a friend of one of my bridesmaids and when I met her for the first time I was thrilled! We honestly don't know how we would have done it without her. She made the month before and day of so calm and took care of all the little details we never would have even thought of. She kept everyone on the same page, coordinated all the vendors and so was sweet through it all. We are so lucky that she became a friend throughout the whole process and won't ever be able to share how appreciative and thankful we are of her and all her work! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

I don't know how we got so lucky to have Lynsey as apart of our wedding day. She was literally a dream for our wedding and was incredibly helpful - I don't know how we could have done this day without her! She was not only incredibly organized, on top of things, had great communication, was efficient with requests, but she also worked so well with the vendors and guests prior to and during the wedding. Lynsey made wedding planning easy and fun! More than anything, she knew the heart of our wedding. She knew exactly what we needed and wanted and how to make it happen so we could have the day we dreamed of. I can honestly say I wasn't stressed or worried once about our wedding day because of her help, expertise, and kind heart. When I did have a little concern
or question about something, she was flexible with her time to talk and help me work through it. There were a few vendors I was struggling to find. She gave recommendations for them and they couldn't have been more perfect to work with either! The day of our wedding was absolutely seamless (and we had huge storms the day of our wedding and were the only building with power but everything was perfect). Having her there throughout the process and the last month before the wedding was like having an extra friend to work with that knew all of the ins, outs, and secrets to wedding planning - it was great! I thank everything to Lynsey and the Soiree team for making our day something to remember with so many special memories! -

I could not have asked for a better person to be with us on our special day. I met Lynsey while she was helping to plan my sister's wedding 2 years ago. I knew when I got engaged I had to have Lynsey. Although I paid for the month of coordinator, her work began way before that. She went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel comfortable throughout every step. The day after our wedding my husband was still raving about how amazing Lynsey was. My vendors raved about how amazing she was as well. Her work went beyond the wedding night and she handled situations while we were on our honeymoon! I can't not say enough good things about Lynsey and we have recommended her services to anyone and everyone who will listen! She was a true friend throughout the process! -

Deciding to hire a coordinator was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding and our sanity. December was absolutely amazing! She was the epitome of professionalism and organization. Not to mention, an absolute sweetheart. She helped with design, vendor recommendations, and handled absolutely all of the vendor and day of coordination. We literally had nothing to worry about on our big day, other than getting ourselves ready. She handled everything that came her way, from pocket squares and boutonnieres to a potentially embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. All of our guests commented on how seamlessly everything seemed to go and how relaxed the entire bridal party was that day. I would highly recommend December and Soirée Event Designs! Thanks again to December for being amazing and making our wedding day so stress-free! -

At first I wasn't sure if we needed a wedding coordinator, but THANK GOODNESS we decided to hire Lynsey at Soiree Event Designs! Her industry expertise, organizational skills and bright attitude were all instrumental in making our wedding dreams come true. She provided us a ton of advice, to-do lists and reminders which helped keep our planning on track. I trusted her fully with coordination between our vendors and I loved how much attention she pays to detail! My reception venue was stunning, much thanks to Lynsey making sure it all came together perfectly. I would highly recommend working with her and Soiree Event Designs - worth every penny for the peace of mind that came with planning my wedding! -

I would absolutely recommend Soiree Event Designs -- the entire team was wonderful to work with! Even after I made the decision to book them, I didn't have a full understanding of everything they would handle and how thankful I would be for them! The week of my wedding I didn't have a thing to worry about and was able to enjoy every minute. They were all so professional and helpful. Lynsey is extremely detail oriented and had everything so organized -- taking care of things I would have never even thought of. Frances and Kyla were the day of coordinators and executed the plan perfectly. Decemeber was extremely helpful in recommending vendors and bouncing ideas off of early in the planning process. I am very happy that I choose Soiree for our big day & I know my husband feels the same way. -

Decemeber with Soiree Event Designs was absolutely fabulous to work with! We hired her as our day-of wedding planner, which was seriously the best money we spent on the whole day! She helped plan our wedding with us (almost 2 months out) while we were out-of-state and really just made everything seamless and stress-free. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, hire Lynsey Page with Soiree! She was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. We hired Lynsey for "month of coordination package". Within a few minutes of meeting Lynsey, I knew she was the perfect match to help me with wedding planning. I genuinely enjoyed and looked forward to our weekly wine/dinner/planning meetings. Lynsey easily understanded and accepted my vision for our day. It was like she was involved in the whole year of planning, not just 6 weeks. Many of our vendors commented to me multiple times how amazing Lynsey was to work with and they have never worked with a coordinator so organized and efficient. My parents and family were able to enjoy the day, knowing Lynsey was in control. I am truly able to say our wedding day was perfect and I do not think I would be able to say that if it wasn't for Lynsey's involvement. I have not ONE critique or bad thing to say about my experience with Lynsey and Soiree. Thank you again for all of your hard work!! -

Madi Sanders was our full-service wedding planner -- and she did an OUTSTANDING job. We were planning a nontraditional downtown KC wedding from out-of-town, and she was professional, responsive, kind, flexible and a true partner to us from the moment we started working with her in January. As we were looking for a planner, we'd interviewed a few, but we chose Madi because it was clear to us that weddings are her passion -- she loves celebrations of love and marriage, and she pours her heart into each event as if it were her own. We always, always felt like a priority, no matter what else she had going on, and there was never a moment where we felt like our wedding was just a job for her.
She brought us amazing vendors that suited our tastes, vision and budget, and never pushed us into anything we were uncomfortable with. She was there for me through the twists and turns of the planning process, patiently working with this indecisive bride with a very clear vision. :) She helped me switch venues after I panicked that our first venue was a mistake. She chased down quotes from marching bands when I offhandedly asked about the cost of having one. She pushed vendors to make sure everything was perfect. And the day before my wedding, she noticed I had put my maiden name on my reception place card (my fault), so she went to our paper vendor and asked her to reprint it for me. And the wedding? Flawless. It exceeded my wildest expectations. Guests told us it was the bestt, most unique wedding they'd ever been to, and Madi is now BFFs with all my bridesmaids because she is fun and rad and awesome to be around.
Madi was an awesome partner and friend to us, and we're bummed that our wedding is over because we don't get to chat with her all the time anymore. Truly, the only thing I would change about my wedding, if I could back and do it all over: I would not spend a single minute worrying about anything - because Madi was all over it, and the night was flawless.

Madi was our planner, and from day one we knew she was going to be perfect for our wedding! She was always very professional and organized, but always made us feel at ease during the stress-filled months leading up to our event. Even though we had spent months doing our own booking and planning, we eventually realized that we needed someone to handle all the details during the final weeks, not to mention during the rehearsal and wedding day. We had our wedding and reception in the same space at a busy upscale restaurant, and the management who had handled all the preliminary planning months before were gone--Madi did not miss a beat, and worked one-on-one with the new management to create an incredible, picture-perfect wedding for us. There was not one thing we had to do that she did not take care of ahead of time, and anything that was unanticipated at the last minute was handled tactfully and without missing a beat...in short, we could not be more pleased with the services we received! We feel that not only did we pay for and get a professional and well done event, but that Madi provided honest and extremely helpful interaction throughout. She was more like a "friend in the business" who clearly enjoyed what she does, and was sincerely committed to making our wedding a special one. She is a gem, and if we had it to do all over we would pick her to do our wedding without hesitation! -

I'll be the first to admit, wedding planning did not turn out to be anywhere near the girly fun I had imagined. I had the venue double-book on me, vendors that charged nearly 200% over the quoted estimate, and family drama out the wazoo. However, Madi at Soiree Event Designs was literally my savior!!! I met her initially at Bella Bridesmaid while selecting bridesmaid dresses & knew her sparkling personality and go get 'em attitude was exactly what our wedding needed. Once she stepped in everything seemed manageable, as she was incredibly organized, knowledgeable, professional, and a consistent breath of fresh air. She has this ability to put people at ease right away and knows how to get friends & family on the same page in a controlled and organized manner without ever coming off as anything but pleasant. A perfect example of how legit Madi truly is, was how she handled the glaring snafu that was our wedding rehearsal. I kid you not, our church wrote our rehearsal time down wrong and we didn't find out until the day before! Madi actually caught the mistake while conducting a routine check with all of our vendors, because she's that on top of things. Then, knowing that I was already a mess, she identified a solution, notified our rehearsal dinner vendors and our priest, put the new plan into motion, and called to let me know about the problem after she had ALREADY SOLVED IT!!! [cue angels singing]. To top it off, she even called my mother-in-law to get her up-to-speed on the whole situation and shielded me from having to inform anyone of the aggravating mistake. The immense amount of trials and tribulations I had experienced throughout the planning process had turned me into a total Debbie Downer but Madi's magical powers and true passion for this business got me excited for the big event and able to focus on what truly mattered. Regardless of all the issues I experienced with my wedding, my biggest mistake was not hiring Madi sooner. She is a Godsend. :) -

Lynsey was our wedding day of coordinator. She met with us months before to start brainstorming the details of how the wedding rehearsal and wedding day (ceremony and reception) would run. Lynsey helped set our reception up so we didn't have to rush around and worry about those details on our wedding day. Her services were unbelievably helpful because we had a 1:00pm ceremony and simply didn't have time to spend on last minute day of details. I know that my mom was extremely grateful, too. Lynsey was so easy to work with. She's sweet, flexible, creative, and organized. She helped us pin down every detail of the schedule for our pastor and DJ so the day ran as smoothly as we could have hoped for. We worked with Lauren Busch at Soiree for month-of planning - she truly was the best, and I couldn't say anything better about Soiree overall. There are so many little things that are easy to overlook during wedding planning, and Lauren made sure we addressed each of them before the big day to help ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. And when they didn't - something is always bound to not go as planned (as in, it was snowing at my outdoor wedding in May!) - Lauren, and her assistant Madi, knew exactly what to do and how to address issues with my mother and I without stressing either of us out. They were a perfect match for our personalities, and I truly credit them for helping make it the most wonderful day! I would recommend Lauren and Madi over and over again! -

We used Madi as our wedding planner and our only regret was that we didn't hire her sooner! She was amazing start to finish. She was so organized, professional, friendly and on too of every detail. Soiree Event Designs and Madi Sanders made our wedding go off without a hitch! I can't express how much support Madi (our wedding planner) provided to my husband and I throughout the last month leading up to our wedding day. The final month leading up to the big day is by far the busiest any couple will be during the entire engagement, so having Madi to assist us was such a blessing! Madi guided us throughout the month leading up to the wedding, was there for the rehearsal the night before, and then all day and night on our wedding day. Having her services provided so much support and enabled my husband and I to enjoy our day without having to worry about every little thing! We would highly recommend the one month wedding planning to everyone, was an absolute life saver! Madi was instrumental in ensuring our special day was seamless, on schedule, without hiccups, and beautiful! My husband and I, our parents, and the wedding party were all amazed with Madi's professionalism and how she was able to guide all of us before and during the wedding. I had a wonderful experience with Lynsey and Soiree Event Designs. Lynsey came on board a little over a month prior to our wedding. She was on top of everything from the beginning and was able to handle a difficult vendor we had. We met several times before the wedding, which was extremely helpful, productive and fun! Lynsey and I clicked immediately and had so much fun planning and organizing my wedding. The wedding day went smoothly, which wouldn’t have happened without Soiree’s staff. I was able to trust Lynsey’s ability to handle last minute decisions and changes. She knew the right solutions to maintain the overall integrity of our event. We were never bothered or sought out for directions and were able to enjoy the day. All of the other vendors had wonderful things to say about Lynsey and enjoyed working with her.
I would highly recommend Soiree for wedding planning to anyone!

Lynsey and Soiree Events did a great job helping us organize and pull off my daughter's special day. Lynsey was easy to work with, had great ideas and was completely organized and professional during the entire event. We used Soiree's full service planning, with Jane as our coordinator and had only good experiences. We live out of state and so she set up all our appointments and consolidated all meetings for visits home, and had us only visit vendors she thought we would like. Our wedding was a bit logistically difficult with the ceremony in my parents' backyard and the reception at the library downtown. Jane was incredibly organized in helping coordinate all of the small details that had to go into the day of timeline. We had rain on the day of the wedding, and ended up having to move the ceremony indoors, to the library at the last minute. If Jane had not been there to communicate this to our guests, call the buses, get everything set up, etc, our ceremony would not have happened! We could not have been happier with Jane, or our choice to use Soiree. -

I had saved my money to hire a wedding co-ordinator for our daughter's wedding. We chose Soiree Event Design and Lynsey was chosen as our co-rodinator. What a blessing is all I can say. From our first meeting with Lynsey I could feel the burden lifted from my shoulders. A very professional young woman with attention to the smallest of details. Loved that about her. The details are always what makes the difference! I feel like our wedding was not an easy one to deal with since the wedding and reception were in two different venues, the bride lived in another state, and the decor was not typical wedding decor. We also had the ceremony in two languages, plus providing services for the wedding weekend to accommodate the Brazillians that were in town and needed recommendations for various services they requested while here. Lynsey was on top of everything from recommendations for stylists to timing of vendor deliveries, to decor, to ceremony timing and sound checks. Anything I had a question about, Lynsey helped with. I without a doubt would recommend Lynsey again and again. She made a huge difference in how the day ran. I can't say enough great things about Megan and the team at Soiree. I worked with Megan as a full service planner, and she was amazing from start to finish! I was a very indecisive bride, and Megan was very patient and able to nudge me along when I was not sure of what I wanted. All of the vendors Megan recommended were great and affordable. She did a great job keeping within the budget, while allowing us to splurge on the things most important to us.
The day of the wedding was worth every penny to have a planner! All we had to do was show and she took it from there. Everything went smoothly, or at least that is what I thought, which meant that Megan did a fantastic job! Even my Dad, not a man of many words, said, "I was so impressed with Megan. She was right by your side up until the very end."
I highly recommend Soiree for any of your planning needs. By FAR the best money spent on our wedding! -

Having help from Soiree Event Designs was the best thing we did for the wedding. My event planner was Kari and she was fabulous. To be honest, my day ran so smoothly that I didn't even know what kind of obstacles she ran into until I asked her a couple questions after the wedding. That says it all! I was able to relax and enjoy my day because I completely trusted Kari and knew she would make everything work. She was very thorough and responsive to emails. We hired Soiree for "month of" services. About 4-6 weeks ahead of the wedding we turned over all vendor contracts and the completed informational packet they provided. Jane Guest was our wedding coordinator. She took it all and ran with it. We did next to nothing from that point on. Jane coordinated the night of the rehearsal ... brought lunch to the bridesmaids the day of the wedding and orchestrated the wedding ceremony and reception flawlessly ... down to fixing the button on Dad's tuxedo right before the walk down the aisle. As the parents of the bride ... we hit the sidewalk at midnight with the car loaded. As I said ... we did nothing but enjoy the evening. Worth every penny! -

I was on the fence about using a wedding planner and if it was really worth the cost, but my fiance convinced me to go with the full service planning option and it was hands down the best decision we made. Danielle was amazing to work with, she always responded to my emails and texts within a few hours and she was so organized and on top of things. She offered us suggestions when we asked for them and help us navigate the hundreds of decisions with minimal stress. Two days prior to our wedding we found out the elevator at our reception venue was not working and we were seriously considered moving to a new venue. Within hours of talking to Danielle she had an alternate venue for us to look at and had outlined exactly what the additional costs would be. Her staff was amazing - they took care of everything from addressing our invites to preparing our programs. She was with us every step of the way and the event was flawless. The day of our wedding I didn't have to worry about anything but having fun and spending time with my family and friends. Using Soiree Event Designs was the BEST decision we made in planning our wedding!

Soiree's quality of service was above and beyond. We used them for day of and ceremony coordination. It did not matter the day of the week or whether it was months or days before the wedding, they always responded to emails and phones call the same day, mostly within the hour. If you ask me, they were a priceless addition to our wedding day. They took care of everything the day of so that I could just enjoy the whole day without having to worry about one detail. I would recommend their services to any family member or friend getting married in the area. -

I can not say enough good things about Soiree Event Designs. I never thought I would be privileged enough to work with a planner, but thankfully, my parents were one step ahead of me. I was fortunate to have grown up near Megan, so I knew she had great taste before we even hired her. We worked with Megan from start to finish and I can honestly say that the work she did was priceless. I had a few solid ideas, in my head, going in, but am chronically indecisive, as is my husband. Megan not only presented an array of wonderful vendors from which to choose, she patiently and politely pushed me towards making the best decisions. As we were getting closer to the date, my work became increasing stressful and time-consuming. With a month or two to go, I almost handed everything off to her, knowing it would all turn out great. I hung in for part of it, while she handled some of the final meetings alone. Despite the fact that I can be a worrier, I did not loose an ounce of sleep after we hired Soiree Event Designs. The week before the wedding, I worried most about wrapping things up at work and getting bags packed for the honeymoon. I enjoyed every minute of our wedding day and I owe a majority of that to Megan, Danielle and their staff. Friends and family continue to tell us this was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. We received wonderful complements on everything from the ceremony to the last dance! -

I contacted them about getting day-of coordination and from the beginning, Danielle was very responsive and always replied promptly. I contacted Megan at Soiree Event Designs at the point when I knew I was in over my head. My fiancee and I had very demanding jobs, and we were getting married in around 2 to 3 months! I needed a day-of planner and thankfully Megan was available. My main goal was to be able to enjoy the day and focus on the most important thing - GETTING MARRIED - and not the details. My wedding was over a year ago, and I am still very impressed with the level of service I recieved with Danielle and Megan. I am currently helping my best friend plan her wedding and it reminded of what a god send Danielle and Megan were to me, and led me to write this review. I told my friend she had to meet with them, and she is using them too! I have a ridiculously busy schedule, am horribly unorganized and I am not technically a girly girl. I know nothing about flowers, dresses, cakes, favors, invitations, etc... The only thing I really cared about was the venue and the band. That is where Soiree came in, they helped me plan a gorgeous wedding and have excellent taste. Before having their help I was lost and overwhelmed with so many decisions, could not keep everything straight, and had no idea what needed to be done. They helped to guide me in the right direction, helped me make the "girly" decisions, they kept me on track with my budget and schedule. They relieved my stress level by 100 percent. When the day of my wedding came, everything was seamless, I actually got to enjoy my day with my new husband and family without having to worry about any of the behind the scene work. They were amazing and I would highly recommend them! My friend told me they are opening a bridesmaid store called Bella bridesmaid in Brookside. I am very excited to see what they have to offer! -

I was a bride with a vision, but needed help pulling all my ideas together. Megan at Soiree was the third wedding planner I met with, and was instantly a perfect match! Initially I was attracted to the budget-friendly price compared to the others I'd interviewed, but after our wedding I realized I would have paid much more for their services.
Megan was very attentive, perceptive and professional. Without Megan I would have been a royal mess by the time my wedding date arrived. With her I didn't feel the need to stress over the details because I had faith in her and her abilities.

When our daughter (and only child) became engaged I couldnt wait to begin planning the wedding. I set two goals for myself. The first was to give our daughter the wedding of her dreams (or as close to it as possible) and to personally enjoy the day. I did not want to be the MOB frantically running around putting out fires the day of the wedding while everyone else was having a great time. I wanted to have the great time too!
Megan helped us to achieve those goals.
Megan far exceeded our expectations. When the Father of the Bride notices and is WOWED by the wedding coordinator you know she is awesome. He commented several time about how flexible Megan was and her willingness to accommodate us. He was especially impressed by her positive, can do attitude.
Megan has a great personality, was easy to work with and accessible. Phone calls and e-mails were returned promptly. Even after the wedding Megan e-mailed me with a reminder about a vendor refund due to me. I know Megan is very busy - but I always walked away with the feeling we were her priority.
The vendors suggested by Megan were professional and delivered a high quality of service for a fair price. Megan worked well with the church coordinators, vendors and the hotel staff - BUT she was clearly an advocate for us. Throughout the planning Megan offered helpful suggestions based on her experience.
Megan has the ability to instill confidence, When she says something is taken care of - it is. For the first time in my life I did not feel the urge to double check anything - it was amazing!
The day of the wedding Megan and Danielle did it all - from getting the brides car valet parked to making sure everything belonging to us was packed up and transported from the hotel at the end of the evening.
For me it was one of the best days of my life. The joy in seeing my beautiful daughter walk down the isle with her dad to begin a new chapter her in life was a once in a life time experience. Megan understood our daughters vision and helped create the wedding of her dreams. She understood my desire to enjoy the day - I have no idea if there were any fires to put out or not - if there were Megan and Danielle took care of them. In my mind everything was perfect.
- Megan deserves all the success in the world because she has earned it. If I had another daughter and she became engaged my first phone call would be to Megan!

She came highly recommended by her sister Andrea with Branches and Twigs, and Danielle and her staff met every expectation and more they went above and beyond "Day of planning." I (literally) can't sing the praises of Soiree enough. We contracted them for their full-service package and from the on-set, both Megan and Danielle approached every single request with an enthusiastic "we will make it happen" attitude (an approach not seen with other planners we interviewed). As we live in Los Angeles and were wed in Barnes, KS. (population 162), it was crucial that we work with a team that not only understood the level of sophistication we wanted to bring to this event (especially amidst discerning attendees that included renowned fashion photographers, film producers and celebrities), but could carry it out to completion amongst a remote area where resources weren't readily available.
Serving as our main point of contact to local KC vendors, Soiree linked us up with amazing vendors that were happy to make the 3+ hour trek to Barnes and were also of the same "we will make it happen" mindset.
They eased worry by outling a production and payment timeline and worked with us to define a budget, even going so far as to negotiate with vendors on our behalf in an attempt to adhere to our pre-set budget (Yes, they do the dirty work too!).
They helped secure the florist, caterer, staffing, venue, tenting, lighting, tables, alcohol, just to name a few and even went so far as to help coordinate guest flights, lodging and also uncover special rates for car rentals and group flights (even creating special Welcome Bag care packages waiting for each guest at their rental car). They are OCD with details!
On the day before and of the wedding (when you really see the true colors of a planner), they handled EVERY single detail with well thought-out care and went above and beyond our expectations, again with the details.
I apologize for the novel, but I don't feel I can put into words or do justice to the amazing experience we had with Soiree.
I'd be happy to speak to anyone personally that may be considering using them. Post-wedding, you too will have trouble putting all they do, the support and guidance they provide and the professionalism into words. We wish only the best for Megan and Danielle and a lifetime of happiness for all those reading this.

I am writing as a MOB. We couldn't have been more pleased with Soiree Events and the services they provided. Although we only contracted for "day of" services, Megan went above and beyond in meeting with us, answering questions, contacting ventdors, coordinating arrivals at both church and reception, transporting things between the 2 locations, making sure details were taken care of at the end of the night, and providing creative ideas when we were stumped! I remember thinking the day before the wedding "I should be doing something--or worrying about something"..but Megan had taken care of all those "last minute" things. Hiring Soiree was the BEST decision i made during the planning process. Our coordintaor was so fantastic. She kept everything on track and handled all vendor communication. It took off a lot of stress and work. She ran the receptions flawlessly. I already miss working with her. -

I worked with Megan and thoguht she was very helpful in recommending vendors and helping me with some "behind the scenes" tasks. I still felt like I got to plan my own wedding, but I don't think the day would have gone as well as it did without her! -
