It has been 2 years since our wedding (Sorry I am late in writing your review, Jeff) and we have been to several wedding since ours. None of the ceremonies my husband and I have been in or been to have been as ORGANIZED, SMOOTH, PROFESSIONAL and PERSONAL as ours was with Jeff.
Its so easy to get caught up in the aesthetics of things while wedding planning. But, you quickly realize on the day of your wedding that the organization of the whole day is way more important.
Jeff is so professional and detail-oriented. He made sure there was not one awkward hiccup in our ceremony. He goes over how to put the rings on your hands to get the perfect photos, how to speak clearly so all your guests can hear, how to pass of the bride from the father to the groom, how to space out each bridesmaid and groomsman so nobody is walking too fast, how to pass off the brides bouquet to the Maid of Honor, when and how to fluff the brides dress, etc., etc., I COULD GO ON AND ON!!
I cannot say enough great things about Jeff. He really goes above and beyond any other officiant and offers great wedding, marriage, and life advice. He also helps you get your marriage license and paperwork before and after your wedding.

Jeff was really great and accommodating to our needs when planning or wedding ceremony. We ultimately ended up changing venues for the ceremony, which included it's own officiant and requirements for that. Had we gone through with the original location, my fiancée and I would have loved to have had him officiate.

Reverend Jeff was truly a gift to us on our wedding day! From our very first video call, he made us feel like we were in great hands, guiding us every step of the way with kindness and care. The mini-rehearsal at his home and the on-site rehearsal were so thoughtful and helped us feel completely prepared. On the big day, Reverend Jeff’s son, Quinn, was an absolute blessing. He took on the role of coordinator for our ceremony and eased all the my worries, allowing me to enjoy the day without a single stress. Reverend Jeff led the ceremony beautifully, with so much warmth and sincerity, and the fact that he wore the outfit we requested made it feel even more personal. Pastor Jeff was a great choice for our elopement-style wedding in Newport Beach! He is very on top of things, showed up on time, was kind and thorough with how things would play out. He brought a mic + speaker as well so you could hear everything over the wind and waves. He lead the ceremony and sent over some pics we got with him, and overall very professional. We are so grateful to find such a great officiant! -

We contacted Jeff around six weeks before our wedding to inquire about his services. Jeff was not only friendly and kind but also very professional. His approach and detailed system ensured a worry-free experience for us on our special day. After discussing the ceremony during an introductory phone call, we had a detailed session and a mini rehearsal at his home. On the wedding day, Jeff arrived early and reviewed everything with each of us. He handled the printing of our personal vows and took care of the marriage license. He also assisted in creating a wine blending unity element for our wedding. Thanks to Jeff, our wedding day was truly fantastic, and we highly recommend his services. Jeff did an amazing job! He met with my husband and me as often as needed prior to our beach wedding to iron out details. Even though I thought I knew exactly what to do, Jeff was right there on our big day to hold our hands and walk us through it all because I forgot 100% of everything once my limo door opened. He was patient, kind and thorough. I love how he printed out our personalized promises for us to keep forever as well. Such a nice touch. We recommend him for your wedding for sure! Jeff was flexible with changes, gave us plenty of options for passages to be read and what he could wear for his ceremony outfit, reviewed our vows to make sure they would flow before printing them for us, was punctual, professional and funny! He also coached us virtually on the ceremony movements and also did them with us again in person on the day of the wedding. My new husband, mom, brother and Dad all commented on what a great job Jeff did leading our ceremony. He took into consideration everything we requested to make it personal and faith-filled which was important to us. Best Wedding Officiant for Your Perfect Day!
We reached out to Jeff about a month and a half before our wedding for his services. He was extremely friendly, kind, and professional. He is very thorough and has such a great fool proof detailed system down that you will absolutely not worry about your day at all. We planned the ceremony initially over a getting to know him phone call, then went over details and a mini ceremony rehearsal ay his home. He arrived early on the wedding day and went over everything again with each of us on the day of. He prints out your personal vows and takes full responsibility for the marriage license. Jeff exceeded our expectations as the officiant for our wedding. We appreciated his faith based ceremony including his discussion of the Greek words for love and the detailed personalization he added.
From the very first meeting over the phone to our Zoom discussion Jeff proved himself to act with a high-level of professionalism. In addition to virtual meetings, Jeff invited us to his house to perform a mini-rehearsal and gather more detailed information about our love for each other.
The day of the wedding he performed a final walk-through with me (the groom). The walk-through reminded me of small details I forgot and gave me confidence to own my vows.
Speaking of vows, Jeff offers numerous combinations of vows to fit the ceremony you desire. We opted to provide personal vows and follow up with his pre-written repeat after me vows. As a professional courtesy, Jeff offered to proofread our personal vows. He suggested that I add some information which really polished my personal vows.
To put it simply, Jeff is a kind, organized, professional, faith-based pastor and I highly recommend him as an officiant. -

LBeing a Navy family, we were immediately drawn to Jeff to marry us due to him being a retired Navy chaplain. It was important we had a connection to our family and he was so much more! He didn’t hesitate to reach out after our first inquiry and set up a private meeting with us and welcomed us into his home. He didn’t just go through the motions. He was not only very detailed, but he was very personable. You could tell he cared about who we were as individuals and it made us feel so confident he would bless our marriage. He guided us through decision making and added so many amazing touches that we wouldn’t of thought of. He spent so much quality time on zoom finalizing details and again.. learned even more who we were! The day of our wedding, Jeff put Kendra at ease.. while coaching Daniel and the entire grooms party on what to do so we could be present and not overthink! The ceremony was perfect! So many of our guests just loved him and complimented how the ceremony really was about “us” and. Not cookie cutter. It wasn’t a script.. it was him sharing with our guests our live he has got to know and learn.
I highly highly recommend Jeff to be your officiant! He even lets you pick what he wears based on your attire! I couldn’t imagine it being anyone else! He will forever be a part of our memories and knowing he played such a huge part of our most special day!

We really enjoyed working with Jeff as our officiant but also in the months leading up to our wedding for our pre-marital counseling. I loved that Jeff laid out his process to us at the beginning before we even agreed to work together, and was very clear on costs and services - without any surprises. His approach to building our ceremony was unique and customizable, but was structured enough so we didn't start from scratch. He takes the time to do a walk-through of the ceremony with you and prepare any parents or wedding party on their roles ahead of the ceremony so there were no awkward or unexpected moments. Jeff Is A Gem!
We are so glad we found Jeff to do our wedding ceremony. Our wedding ceremony went super smooth. As soon as I(the groom) met Jeff on the wedding day he made me feel relaxed and calm. We went over the whole ceremony again and during the ceremony he whispered little cues to help me along. I had people in my family who don’t attend church comment about how much they loved the words that Jeff spoke during the ceremony and how they felt uplifted!
Jeff, my fiancé and I zoom called for over two hours before the ceremony and we were impressed that he took the amount of time that was needed to sort everything out so we could have the perfect ceremony. You can tell right away that Jeff loves what he does and that he is confident also. This makes you feel confident also on your big day.
Jeff made our personalized promises so special and even added a little humor which made both of our families laugh. Jeff is seriously a gem! Best pastor you can get. We are so glad you did our wedding Jeff it couldn't have been more perfect. We loved that the focus was on God and my family told me they felt Gods presence during the ceremony.

From our first interaction with Jeff, we instantly knew he was the one who was going to marry us on our special day. His thoroughness, professionalism & kindness throughout the whole process was consistent and way better than we could ever imagine. Jeff took the time to call us before we even reserved the date to map out what our day would look like and coach us through the importance of the ceremony. We ended up meeting at his home a week later so he could get to know us and go over in detail about what each part of the ceremony would look like - he even taught me how to hold my bouquet and put my husband’s ring on for the perfect photo and so much more. The days leading up to the ceremony, we were truly excited knowing Jeff had our backs and we trusted he would guide us the whole way. My husband and I were both nervous recks until we saw Jeff walk in the venue. I wasn’t nervous at all once Jeff began the ceremony and the little cues he whispered to us were perfect! Rev Dr Jeff was absolutely wonderful. From the first phone call, I could tell that he would focus our ceremony on Christ. The zoom call lasted hours so that we all felt we had plNned every step of the ceremony. This made planning a wedding from out of state very easy.
The ceremony had several glitches like our outdoor wedding suddenly being moved indoors due to extreme weather, but Jeff was flexible and helped things run smoothly. When I was walking to the table for the wine blending ceremony, I accidentally stepped right over top of a candle on the floor and Jeff leaped into action preventing my dress from catching fire! Pastor Jeff... AMAZING!
If you are Christian and you are looking to reign in your wedding the "Proper" way... then Pastor Jeff is who you need. He was an actual Navy Chaplin for 25+ years and has the spiritual gravitas to help bring the Christian heat of the Holy Spirit. A Wedding and vows are to be taken seriously with the presence of God, so you need a man of God to help usher in the proper blessings. Pastor Jeff will help with that. I would STRONGLY suggest that you do the package that gets details of who each of you are... You may be thinking to yourself, "Is the extra package even worth it???" TRUST ME... It should be REQUIRED. You'll be thanking yourself that you did. He delivers context to your relationship for everyone to know the "Why" and it is delivered with humor, kindness, respect and reverence. Don't go cheap... Just do it. Hindsight is 20/20. I could not speak more highly of Jeff. During the planning process he was very responsive and sent very detailed and thorough emails explaining how he typically structures wedding ceremonies and gives you the option to make it best suit you and your future spouse. He is VERY organized and professional, yet is very personable and really takes the time to get to know each couple. He also gives you an opportunity to rehearse your ceremony in the weeks leading up to the wedding. This was especially great, because it helped shake some of the nerves and work through any confusion before the actual ceremony.
My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and we received so many compliments about how beautifully our ceremony was conducted and how incredible of an officiant Jeff was. Jeff is great!
What a blessing it was to have found Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville. He truly was amazing he is so professional, punctual, helpful and organized. The whole process of working with him was very easy, we did a mini rehearsal prior to the wedding and that was so helpful and helped us get a better understanding as to what to expect the day of. It was also great to have gotten little refreshers right before the ceremony, it helped me feel more confident. And the ceremony was just beautiful, my family kept asking me for his information and telling me how much they loved how he led the ceremony.
I would 100% recommend Jeff if you are looking for a wedding officiant!

Blessed to have found him
Jeff was not only a very good communicator, but he was also a great coach when lines were forgotten due to nervousness. He was flexible with our zoom meetings for rehearsal and he also responded in late hours. Jeff was puctual and knew what he was doing the whole time. In my attempt at finding a Christian Pastor to official my wedding and conduct pre-marital relationship coaching, I stumbled upon Jeff. He offered exactly what I was looking for! He was flexible as our schedules were a little hectic and our wedding date was pending, and he was always on time and prompt for coaching and for the wedding itself.
From the coaching which gave my now husband and I great tools to strengthen our relationship, to his leadership of the ceremony, Jeff was professional and trustworthy. As busy as my wedding day was, I knew I did not have to worry about the ceremony itself as Jeff took charge and made sure we were all prepped beforehand and knew what to do. Couldn't be happier
Everything about working with Jeff from start to finish was fantastic. We couldn't have asked or hoped for anything better. His instruction leading up to during, and even post wedding are thoroughly detailed and gave us direction, he worked with our wedding party and family members to coordinate, led a magical ceremony, sent us pictures and mailed our license the very next day. My wife and I are Christians who are looking for a local faith community but currently dont have one and we found SO much value in Jeff's history and experience in ministry, and understanding and teaching the bible. We also got along like old friends after just a few conversations. A true professional through-and-through. Jeff helped us throughout the wedding process. He paid our how we will walk down the aisle and gave us suggestions on what might make our wedding special. We booked Jeff two years out, so we had a lot of time to plan our wedding. He provided us a detailed walk through how the ceremony will be 2 years prior to the wedding day and follow up and checked in with us throughout our planning process via phone and email. He offered different options based on your preference starting from the way he comes dressed to the details and options of the vows. Come 2020, everything that was planned 2 years ago pretty much went out the window due to the corona virus. Jeff reached out to update us on the current situation. We decided to get married on our original date so we scrambled to plan our last minute mini ceremony. Jeff was extremely helpful and adjust everything on his end up until the day of the ceremony due to the uncertainty of everything. We were able to safely get married on our original planned date. Jeff exceeded all our expectations and handled the pandemic really well. Thank you Jeff for making our mini wedding ceremony so memorable during the pandemic. We can’t wait to see you again next year for the big celebration. -

Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville was the perfect person to lead our ceremony. He had a virtual meeting with us months in advance, where we were able to rehearse the ceremony in the living room. His suggestions for location worked out beautifully, he scheduled us on the day we chose, and he was very accommodating with whatever changes we made along the way. Very detail orientated, personable, and highly professional. Not to mention the abundance of information on his website which even cover what to do after the big day. Rev. Jeff was at the location an hour early, coached every one on what to do, and even worked with the photographer to allow for just the right picture taking moments. We highly recommend Rev. Saville! Due to the Covid-19 our wedding was canceled but of course my Fiancé and still wanted to get married and now with a baby on the way even more so! Pastor Jeff went well than above and beyond for us. He searched for hours looking at public parks, beaches, just about anywhere we could possibly have a very tiny short ceremony. He even offered his home if we weren't able to find a place. Luckily by the grace of God and Pastor Jeff's dedication in helping we found a place!!! Finding Pastor Jeff has been such a blessing! I found Jeff on Weddingwire and really liked his passion in uniting Christian couples, and others seemed to value his work as well. Knowing he has worked with couples who got married at the Mission Inn (where we got married) I felt even more confident he was familiar with our venue.
My husband reached out to him and he got back to him within less than and hour. My husband and I met with Jeff and instantly connected with Jeff. We decidee to work with Jeff on premarital counseling, and also had him lead our ceremony. Jeff truly took the time to get to know us the 6 months leading up to our ceremony. He wrote a custom ceremony speech that we loved and was personal and gave us options and ideas of certain prayers, vows, and bible verses to include as part of our ceremony.
As part of preparation for our ceremony, Jeff went over logistics of what the ceremony was going to be like from how we stand, hold hands, to where we pose when up at the alter or down the aisle for certain pictures, which seemed common sense, but day off, it helped us so much what to do and be more relaxed knowing how crazy and nerve racking day it was. We did get some amazing pictures with his tip!! ;)
Jeff was professional throughout our wedding planning process. He was friendly, understanding, flexible, and punctual. I highly recommend Jeff to be a part or your "A-team", he will exceed your expectations!! Thank you, Jeff! -

My (now) wife and I worked with Jeff on premarital counseling, and also had him lead our ceremony. Jeff didn't just show up to read a script, he was the leader of the flow and logistics of the entire ceremony piece of our day. If you can imagine how hectic the day could be, this alone is priceless!
He also truly invested in getting to know us, and preparing us for what the ceremony would be like. Before the day, it seemed a little silly, but when the day came, remembering his tips for where to stand, how to stand, and other little suggestions not only resulted in better photo opportunities, but also let me relax as much as I could while up in front of about 145 of our family and friends (something I wasn't looking forward to). He was professional at all stages, punctual, flexible, friendly, funny, helpful, and I could go on and on. If you are looking for a key member of your "dream team" then look no further than Jeff! Jeff did a fantastic job!
He is military which means everything is very methodical and planned out down to the smallest detail. All the details do make a difference of the out come of your wedding ceremony, it’s the most important part! So you want it to go smooth.
Since then we have been to other weddings and realized those details he made a fuss about really set our wedding apart from the others!
We were unable to meet up with Jeff due to my husbands work schedule but Jeff made time for us to FaceTime and practice ahead of time which made things a lot easier for us.
He helped us draft our vows and honestly thank god for that. It was too the point and no one was falling asleep during our vows or any part of our ceremony, most everyone was captivated the whole way through.
After our wedding guests were complimenting his unique touch of explaining “The 3 different types of love”. A few of our guests said they felt inspired to renew their vows after attending our Wedding!
Aside for accidentally calling me Melissa instead of Myrissa ;-) haha! I know If I had to do it all over again there’s no one else I would entrust with our special day than Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville!

We had quite a bit of trouble finding an officiant as both my husband and I were picky about who we wanted officiating our ceremony. We had interviewed several officiants before I stumbled upon Jeff's profile on here and knew he had to be our officiant. I could tell from his profile that he customized his ceremonies to fit the couple and had a wonderful sense of humor. Laura Sent on 07/12/2018Your Officiant is one of the most important people you have at your wedding, and he or she needs to be able to make the couple happy and provide a memorable ceremony, and Jeff does exactly that! He is hyper organized, which is really helpful when planning a wedding is chaotic enough. He is able to hold an audience's attention and provides a very personalized ceremony that I will never forget! He really get to know you before the big day in order to provide an amazing ceremony. My friends and family all said that it was such an amazing ceremony and that Jeff made it very memorable. He also makes you feel very at ease at the alter because he provides ques so that you're not worrying about remembering what comes next. If you're writing your own vows he provides a printed version so that you don't have to fully memorize them. You really can't go wrong with him!!!

Vanessa Sent on 10/10/2017My husband and I chose Jeff Saville to perform our wedding ceremony and we are so glad that we did. Our experience started with an introductory consultation in Jeff’s home. Jeff is very personable and we were very comfortable meeting with him in his home. He gave us a great overview of the way he typically conducts his ceremony and we went over some details about our relationship that would be incorporated into the ceremony. My husband and I also chose to participate in pre-martial counseling sessions with Jeff and I highly recommend this. It is worth the additional cost. Jeff does a great job in encouraging couples to talk to each other and initiate topics that every couple should probably discuss sooner rather than later. Jeff facilitated our wedding rehearsal and everybody was clear in what they needed to do; and more importantly, he performed fabulously at our ceremony as well! He’s good at keeping guests engaged and making guests laugh ? I did not see any bored faces in the audience, and we got multiple compliments from wedding guests regarding how beautiful and entertaining our ceremony was. Jeff has a great personality and sense of humor! If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t consider hiring anybody else. If you hire Jeff, you will absolutely not regret it!
