Sophia is such a talented and visionary photographer. From our first meeting, she impressed us with her creativity, professionalism, and eye for unique, emotionally rich shots.
She had already wowed us with our engagement photos, and based on the early sneak peeks from our wedding, she’s done it again — truly stunning work. Communication with her was easy, warm, and effortless, and on the day itself, she brought such calm, positive energy.

When we started our wedding planning adventure, I knew photography and videography were my number one priority. I wanted someone who I could trust would capture our day perfectly, with unique creativity and precision. Having photographed weddings in the past, I know firsthand how chaotic they can be, and I openly admit that it’s not my forte. It takes a very special person to thrive in that environment, and I’m so grateful to say we found that person. Choosing SOBED Creative was truly the best decision we ever made.
When I submitted our inquiry, Sophia responded within the hour, and we scheduled a call the same day! I was blown away! After that Zoom call, I knew we were a perfect match!
Her incredible responsiveness, organization, and overall approach made the whole experience so smooth and mirrored her incredible creative eye. She captured every detail and emotion to a tee—every shot was pure art. I never once had a worry during our special day! She took control of the situation to ensure everything went smoothly and she accomplished all our wishes, while still allowing us to soak in and enjoy every moment. And as if it couldn’t get better, her delivery time was extremely fast (within 2 weeks), and our gallery is nothing short of phenomenal. I had very high expectations, and she and her team somehow managed to exceed them, preserving the memories of our day in a way I will cherish forever.
While there may be other photographers that can create nice photos, very few can craft an experience where you feel like you’ve made a friend through the process and deliver out of this world images. Sophia has done exactly that and as I’ve joked with her already, she is now stuck with us forever! :) -

My husband, family, and I absolutely loved working with Sophia and her team! We had the chance to take engagement photos with her just a few weeks before the wedding, as we were coming from out of town. She was incredibly communicative, a great listener, and always made sure everything was on track.
Though our ceremony was supposed to be outdoors, it rained… far from ideal. But Sophia handled the rainy day plan with ease, and her calmness really helped put me at ease. I couldn’t recommend Sobed Creative Media more!

Simply Perfection
Sophia is literally AMAZING, both in personality and skill. Every single interaction we have had with her has been so much fun and she is adaptable, knowledgeable, organized, and professional. She truly wants to capture what is important to you for any photo occasion and finds such creative ways to deliver on the finished product. Our engagement photos and our wedding photos are honestly works of art and we are totally in love with them, and so is everyone else who has seen the gallery. Her editing style is perfect, my husband likes light and airy and I prefer dark and moody and she falls somewhere in between with a nuance all her own. We have already booked her for a first anniversary shoot next year and I cannot wait to see what other uses we can find for her talent.
Our wedding package included an engagement session and Sophia was so accommodating to turn it into a photo session for our terminally ill dog instead, giving us some beautiful keepsakes of him but also some great shots of us as well. I will truly always be thankful to her for capturing those moments for us.
Sophia was completely on top of every single aspect of our wedding, every single detail was mapped out and communicated to me well in advance of the day and it was so appreciated. The day of she gently herded us, prompted and guided us, and just generally made sure to capture the entire perfect vibe of the day. Our second shooter, Kathleen, was a perfect complement to Sophia’s own style as well and we were so happy to have them both.

Sophia is AMAZING! I hired Sobed Creative Media for my wedding photography, and from the start, Sophia was so professional and easy to work with. She took our engagement pictures to get to know us, and throughout the planning process, she was responsive and reliable. We just got our digital wedding album back, and every single picture is something we will always treasure. Sobed creative media was amazing!
I cannot say enough good things about Sophia! She was easily one of the best vendors I had at my wedding. She is amazing at what she does!! Very professional, organized, gives direction very well but also has such a calm demeanor to her that actually helped me stay calm throughout the day. You can tell she knows what she is doing!! She was very easy to work with - even leading up to the wedding. Her communication was awesome - she responded very quickly to all of my emails and answered any questions I had. She had my pictures back to me very quickly and they looked amazing!!! I love them so much! I get a lot of compliments on my pictures from friends and family who say that some of the pictures even look like they could be in a magazine! She captured every part of the day so perfectly - every moment, every candid, every emotion! One of my bridesmaids noticed how great Sophia was on my wedding day and after seeing my pictures she automatically hired her. I will absolutely be using Sophia in the future and highly recommend her and her team to anyone!! -

Incredibly talented and fun to work with!
Sophia was an absolute delight to work with and our photographs turned out phenomenally! She has wonderful creativity and really maximizes her surroundings to make it seem like you've traveled to many shooting locations. The variety is great and left us with more amazing photos than we can possibly display at once. Sophia is easy-going and her bright encouragement brought us out of our shells. The engagement shoot is a must. We felt so comfortable working with her on our wedding day after having so much fun at that session. Her communication and planning are top notch. Sophia was fantastic to work with - my husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera but she made us feel so comfortable, which our photos reflect! We also loved her ability to photograph animals so we could include our cats in our engagement photos. After our December 5 wedding, we got our photos back so quickly we were able to give some of them as Christmas gifts! We would definitely recommend SOBED Creative and Sophia to anyone looking for a photographer! -

Hi Bride! I am a pandemic bride which means there were a lot of tears and many things did not go my way for our special day. That day that I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. EXCEPT our photos and our wedding video!!! (and the food see Ken's Creative Kitchen).
Sophia is worth every single penny is she is asking -- she is probably worth more to be honest. Since we only had 22 people at our event we splurged on photo and video. With that package we received a photo album that she helped us put together. We have taken that book everywhere as a couple so people can experience our wedding. There are always gasps and tears! Always! Those reactions are because of the woman behind the camera.
This is one day you want to remember and you will be in the best hands if you hire Sophia and her team. We go back often and relive that beautiful day with the same joy and excitement that we felt because Sophia captured all the moments. One pro tip I would give brides is to "let go and let Sophia" lead you in your poses. If you let her inner artist out and run free you will not be disappointed. Just like in Dirty Dancing -- nobody puts Baby in a corner -- nobody should ever put Sophia in a corner! -

Highly Recommend! Great Experience!!
Great experience all around. Sophia is an artistic genius! Our wedding and engagement pictures turned out absolutely perfect. We get compliments all the time on how well they turned out. She is a truly talented photographer.
Sophia definitely has a lot of experience with weddings, which was so helpful! She helped me plan out the entire wedding day timeline and she kept everything on schedule the day of. It was such a relief to not have to worry about any of that!
She had great communication which is very important for a stressed out bride! I had other vendors that I had to email 2 or 3 times to get a response, but Sophia always responded to me almost immediately. And between the engagement pictures and the wedding (1 year apart), she never lost touch with us. It was very easy to schedule time to video chat or call whenever we had questions.
We absolutely loved working with Sophia. She is so easy to get along with and such a hard worker! We wouldn't change a single thing about our experience. We will definitely be using her again in the future! -

Sophia and her team at SOBED are absolutely wonderful! They did a beautiful job capturing our wedding day, and we are left with so many photos and videos to help us relive every moment! ! Sophia is EXTREMELY organized, so friendly and down-to-earth, and takes time to really listen to your ideas. Sophia was so flexible (we post-poned twice due to Covid) and stayed connected with us throughout every step of wedding planning. She is so efficient and was able to capture so many different shots and groups of people. Sophia has such a vision; she pulled us for quick sunset photos during our reception and again when the stars came out. We were blown away when we saw what she was able to capture in a quick impromptu photograph. All of our friends commented about how she was the BEST photographer they have seen at a wedding. Sophia and her team are the absolute best in the business. She was so on top of everything throughout our entire year and a half long engagement. She was responsive, professional, organized, prompt and most importantly, FUN! We were so comfortable with her so our photos all came our incredible. Her prices are very reasonable, her editing is natural and beautiful, and her turn around time is SO fast. We had our entire wedding gallery back six days after our wedding! Sophia was amazing to work with! We inquired about wedding photography with multiple photographers, but as soon as we met Sophia over the phone, she became the obvious choice. She is personable, fun, and attentive to detail. She aims to ensure her clients events are captured and remembered forever. No detail, big or small, goes unnoticed.
Due to some unforeseen life events and the pandemic, we had to move our wedding date and venue around a few times. Sophia was very flexible and accommodating, which we were very grateful for.
The weeks leading up to our wedding, Sophia scheduled multiple video calls for us to plan ahead and ensure she would be present to capture all the best moments of the day. The day of the wedding, Sophia showed up at our agreed upon time, walked us through her plans for the day, and began photographing us and the event. Honestly forgot she was there at times because she does such a great job moving around and capturing every moment.
The photography came back to us within a week, and we were amazed with the shots she took. We love her artistic direction and editing style!
Sophia went above and beyond to help make our day so special. We highly recommend her for any photography or video needs, you won't be disappointed. -

As an artist, I was extremely picky in my selection and went through so many photographers before I found Sophia, and the search was so worth it! She would reply to my emails so quickly and be always ready with answers to my questions. She went the extra mile in so many ways! As we were planning in the midst of a pandemic, so many things were up in the air, and she worked with us through every step. She handled every obstacle so gracefully and with such professionalism both before and on the day! The pictures we got are amazing! She got them to us within a week of the wedding and we could not have been more pleased with the combination of candid and posed pictures! My husband and I have gotten couples pictures before by multiple different photographers and were never happy with the results until we worked with Sophia. She is a true artist! I tell everyone that our pictures are works of art that we just happen to be featured in. -

Sophie was probably the best choice we made for our wedding! This review is long overdue because life has been a whirlwind, but with that being said Sophie would always be my recommendation when someone is asking about a photographer. She captured stunning pictures of both wedding events we had and made us all look absolutely beautiful. Some of my favorite shots are the special little moments that weren’t planned. Beyond being massively talented, prepared, and meticulously detailed she was so kind. I can not recommend her and her team enough and I can not wait to work with her again.
A little side note to drive home how awesome she is the first engagement shoot it rained. We still got amazing shots but Sophie gave us an additional shoot because she’s that amazing. Also my 14 year old dog passed away on our wedding day she made sure to have all the shots she had gotten of him on the engagement shoot and rehearsal dinner beautifully edited and ready for us after the honeymoon. She’s the greatest! -

This woman, genuinely and literally saved my life! She was such a phenomenal person to work with during the most stressful time of my entire life. Sophie was far more than just a photographer, Sophie was an entire package. There were so many times that I didn’t even have to communicate with words to her and she already knew what I needed or was thinking which is so powerful on your wedding day! And I cannot even begin to tell you about the quality of work we received covering our day. Her and her team could not have done a better job of managing and capturing our day. We even went to a wedding one month before our wedding and our pictures came back well before there’s did which was unbelievable! You can absolutely tell that Sophie enjoys doing what she’s doing and that it isn’t just a job for her. Honestly, by the end of the day I just felt like Sophie was one of my good friends attending the wedding taking snaps versus someone who’s working. That is the level of comfort Sophie and Chris brought with them all the way to Pennsylvania! I would love love love love to work with her again one day. I regret taking this long to write this review because Sophie and her team deserve all my praise but life post wedding is soooooooo wild. Honestly, you will not be disappointed with her work, her commitment, her passion, her team, and the energy this woman brings. We knew we were getting something great but I would have never imagined the total package we were getting with the SOBED team!
P.S. My entire family and many guest are still talking about how great the 'photographer and videographer' were. Unbelievable humans.🧡
Oh ya, and I stare at my pictures still all day and watch the video everyday and still cry! I love it all!! -

A true artist
Sophia was incredibly easy to work with. She met with us early on to get a feel for what kinds of photography we wanted, and she was very flexible when the plans changed. A couple days before our wedding, the forecast wasn’t looking great, so she reached out and offered to come a little early to try to steal some additional moments in case we couldn’t get outside. Then on the day of the wedding, there was a break in the weather and she took us outside for a few minutes to take some photos. What she was able to capture on an overcast day was simply magical!
Sophia and James were such a pleasure to work with. They were punctual, professional, and accommodating. I can not recommend them more! -

We Are Thrilled!
Sophia photographed our wedding in September in the midst of Tropical Storm and Hurricane season. Our original plans for an outdoor first look and ceremony quickly turned into a search for the right spaces that were as beautiful as they were dry. By the morning of our wedding day there was no end in sight of the deluge of rain being dropped on Baltimore. I was a little sad we’d miss out on the beautiful outdoor shots I’d dreamed of, but Sophia assured me we’d still capture the beauty of the day and the venue.
Our pictures started when Sophia met us at the salon as I was sitting down for hair and makeup. Despite the dreary day outside, Sophia came in with this bright, beautiful, upbeat energy. She whirled around the salon like she’d been there a hundred times, snapping candids of my bridal party chatting and laughing, beauty shots of us all dolled up and fine art pictures of makeup and beauty tools. I was blown away by the effortless confidence she exuded.
I was so excited of the thought of having the wedding pictures of my dreams, but I am rather camera shy and worried my shyness would show through. After seeing how cool and collected Sophia was, I let my shyness go and started to really enjoy the process.
Sophia brought such beautiful, artistic energy to our day, from first meeting at the salon, through our bridal suite shoot and first look (which she staged perfectly!) to our final farewells. Part of what made our day so successful was her professionalism and flexibility, from wrangling stray family members for portraits to making last minute ideas work. Another part was all the homework Sophia did in our planning process. She took the time to learn about us, what makes us unique as individuals and special as a couple. She helped us form this beautiful vision for our wedding day and she captured our story perfectly. Our wedding pictures are romantic, fun, joyful, artistic, personal and perfectly us.
Sophia’s work exceeded all of our expectations and We Are so thrilled!

She offered an amazing price for our wedding, helped us prepare by sharing and exchanging the types of photos/poses we wanted to capture, was really patient with out 8 month old son, did excellent touch up work, and overall made our photos amazing. I was shocked by how good she made us look! We eloped and it was a short ceremony with limited time, and she STILL produced so many amazing pictures. Her work is definitely worth the price, and then some. Since our wedding, we've had Sophia do two family photo shoots and both times she was great. Will definitely continue to hire her in the future.
