Sara is one of the most talented, kind, professional and amazing photographers you will find. I worked in the photo industry for many years, and Sara would be my first pick for weddings, portraits, parties, you name it, hands down! In fact, we loved working with her so much, and the photos came out so wonderfully that we're trying to figure out some reason we can hire her again. She's just THAT GOOD. In addition to her tremendous talent, Sara is an absolute joy to work with and be around. As someone who's used to being behind the camera, with a wife who dislikes being photographed, we immediately felt at ease with Sara during our engagement shoot, and that easy rapport carried over to our wedding. She makes everything so fun and easy. When our day of coordinator turned out to be less than stellar, Sara took matters into her own hands and helped run the show, for which we are endlessly grateful. Bottom line - if you're looking for an incredible, ultra talented photographer who you'll think of as a friend by the time you're done, Sara is your gal. We adore her!! -

Such a long and overdue review on my part (oops 😅) but there are not enough words in the world to describe Sara and Makenzie and the team they make and the service they provide. When first looking for a wedding photographer, I fell in love with Sara’s photos. Her pictures on instagram and in her portfolio were so filled with so much color and life and that’s what initially attracted me to Sara’s photography. Then we emailed back and forth and spoke on the phone and I just knew that she was the photographer for me. Sara is such an incredible human who made me feel comfortable instantly and made the process super simple and easy for me. She was very responsive to emails which was a big thing for me. When we had our engagement session, her an Makenzie made my husband and I so comfortable in front of the camera as that was the first time we took photos professionally and Sara and Mak made us look like models and like we knew what we were doing for pictures 😂 when the wedding came around, Sara was so organized and knew exactly what to do, where to go, what was happening and I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our wedding photos came out SO beautiful and exactly what I had always pictured them to be. If I could go back, I would choose Sara -

Where do I begin? Sara made our entire process a breeze, she was responsive and helpful before we even hired her. She takes incredible photos! We have already received so many compliments on her work. She's truly a joy to work with and be around, and she's extremely talented. Her second shooter, Mak, is also amazing!! Sara was hands down the best vendor we hired and she's worth every penny. She did my boudoir photos, our engagement photos, our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding.
Some notes from throughout from our experience: this wonderful woman helps with EVERYTHING, and I mean everything. Timelines, putting out fires when something doesn't go to plan, getting to know all of the guests so that family photos are quick and easy, planning/design throughout the early stages, and she was right there with me and the rest of the bridal party giving us hints throughout the day (like where to hold our bouquets - people mess this up all the time). She knows what she's doing even at a new venue, she was very efficient in getting all of the images we wanted in a short amount of time. This allowed us to focus on spending time with guests! I have nothing but great things to say about her and her team. Highly highly recommend!! -

You have become such a great friend Sara. Right from the moment we had our first appointment, we knew we had to work together. It’s rare to meet someone and feel like you know them all of 5 min in, but that’s how it felt when we met Sara Ozim and we discussed all the shows we liked... including GoT. She got us. And she got the vision we wanted not only our engagement pcitures but our wedding! Abe’s not one to like taking pictures but you & Mack made it extremely comfortable for us and captured us in our best angles!! 😏 Everyone raves about how much they liked our pictures!! Simply perfect!
We decided to elope and have a hot air balloon wedding. Because our family and friends would not be there, we knew we wanted a top quality photographer... Wow, we made the right decision! Sara is simply amazing!
Sara and her assistant, Makenzie arrived at our hot air balloon location at 5.30am, even though it was so early they were both full of energy and ready to go! Their energy is infectious and we all had a lot of fun together.
Sara has a great way of directing the photos without seeming bossy or overbearing. She's fun and always seems upbeat. She did an amazing job of capturing our children's personalities (even my grumpy teen son!).
The portraits and candid photos are all superb. She is responsive to text, emails and calls. Her prices are exceptionally reasonable and you can tell she enjoys her job!
I feel so fortunately to have had Sara (and Mak) share the day with us. -

Having Sara and Makenzie photograph our wedding was easily one of the best decisions we made. Sara was so easy to communicate with from the first email and made us feel so comfortable. She and Makenzie are organized, professional, but also super easy-going and fun to be around. Our photos capture our personalities and our wedding day perfectly! I could not be happier Sara was a part of our wedding team! -

Sara was amazing! Our first photographer canceled on us twice and we had to look for a new photographer with less then 3 months away from our wedding and do engagement photos. Sara responded to us literally hours after we messaged, meet us that weekend and had us booked for engagement photos a week a later. Everyone had such a good times having there photos taken that some of my guest have already booked her. -

My #1 vendor
Was punctual and kept us moving on time. She sent a "preview" of pictures 48 hours after wedding for me to post :) she is so sweet but stern with other vendors that were giving her a hard time about timing of events to get the shots she needed. Things wouldn't have been so great without her! Worth every penny! -

Sara, my now husband, and I connected 18 months before our wedding. We couldn't underestimate the importance and value of wedding photos, so Sara was the first vendor we hired for the big day. We fell in love with her portfolio and after a long FaceTime call, Sara herself, too! When Sara and her rather talented, complete, and wonderfully kind team came on the scene for the rehearsal, it was like seeing old friends after a long time apart. They worked tirelessly and thoughtfully to give us the most amazing collection of priceless photos. Immediately when they arrived, my husband and I spent hours looking through them over and over. Our vision was not just captured but enhanced -- the magic, the beauty, and all of the emotion. We couldn't have asked for more! Sara and her team are simply THE BEST. -

Jess Sent on 12/14/2017Sara was recommended to me through my friend and out of all the choices for our wedding, choosing her as our photographer was legitimately the best one (besides marrying my husband of course!) Sara goes above and beyond in every aspect. For our engagement photos, my fiance and I were in a canoe, and Sara got into the water to get the best shot. She could have gotten into a canoe herself, but she gets down and dirty to get the job done and it really shows in her work. All our guests were commenting on how amazing she and her team were - they even told us she jumped over some chairs to get a shot! haha!
Hands down Sara is the best of the best and we will continue going back to her for every photography opportunity. She's worth every penny. -

My wedding planning experience started out rough when it came to finding the right photographer, but thankfully, a recommendation from a friend led me to Sara. After one conversation it was an easy decision to choose her for our engagement shoot and wedding. When I received my photos from the engagement shoot, my jaw just dropped. The photos were more beautiful than I could've imagined. I'm not comfortable in front of the camera, so I was nervous about how that would look but Sara is a natural at not only finding the perfect shot, but also making you relax. I got the photos back so fast and had so many fantastic ones to choose from. When it came to the wedding, Sara was on point with being responsive, organized, professional, and just lovely overall. I never for a second questioned how the photos from my wedding would turn out. Actually, Sara and her team exceeded my expectations. Every moment was captured to perfection, there's no way I could've asked for more. My (now) husband, family, and friends all agree. They're just as stunned as I am in the best possible way. I cannot thank SO Photography enough for capturing this momentous day as beautifully as I remember it in my mind. They are worth every penny, you certainly won't have a single regret!

She has a knack for making people comfortable in front of the camera, when they otherwise wouldn't be, turning an awkward pose into a kodak moment. She was happy to work with our other vendors, which is not always the case and she was adaptable to changing situations, even walking through the woods in fancy shoes when our golf cart broke down! Sara was very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a good investment, Sara is it. -

She did an amazing job on both our engagement session and wedding. I would hands down, recommend her to anyone and everyone! I will def be using her when we finally have kids!
