East Orlando new Gem

This is what East Orlando has been needing for a long time. The Customer service is excellent. The fried Ribs on Saturday will make you want them on Sunday. Chicken and Brisket are smoked to perfection. You can eat the sides as a meal by themselves. Oh, the desserts will have you there on Mondays when they are closed.

Great tasting food

Smoky Jay BBQ was amazing. Their food was to die for. Everyone during our wedding had nothing but positive comments about the food and how it tasted amazing. I would recommend Smoky Jay BBQ to anyone that needs catering in the Orlando area and I would hire them again in a heart beat. Thank you Jay for making our wedding and catering experience great.

Amazing food and amazing people

Honestly no words

I have no words to describe this bussiness. They pride on what they do and how they do it. The guest service was 6 stars and the food taste so goooooood. Got so many compliments. All my guests were asking for their information.

Lifesaver !

Natina and her husband were awesome from first encounter to the very end. We had originally selected another vendor who stopped responded to us. In a panic we found Smokey Jays BBQ. I didn’t care the price or food at that point I just wanted to secure a vendor, but Natina was insistent that we have a tasting and really wanted us to make sure we were satisfied with our decision. We were welcomed by Natina and her staff at our tasting and the food was phenomenal! We had changed guest count & food selections several times throughout the process and each time Natina was understanding, reassuring and extremely professional even at 9 months pregnant !! The food was awesome ! ALL the guest loved the food and in fact a month later we are still getting guest inquiries about our caterer. Choosing Smokey Jays was the best choice we could have made and we would do it again in a heartbeat. So do yourself a favor, stop looking now and contact Natina and her staff you will NOT be disappointed.

Excellent customer service and food!

We used Smokey Jay’s for our Family Reunion, we had 100 people. The service leading up to the event was amazing! Natina was responsive, helpful and a great resource since I’m not from the area. The food was fantastic and exceeded our expectations!!! I wish they were closer to Cincinnati because I’d love to use them for more events! The entire team is awesome! And of course the Chef, Jay, is a BBQ master!

Great food by awesome owners

We had a wonderful experience in the wedding planning process. Very understanding owners and delicious food. This portion of the wedding was one of the most successful part. Everyone is still talking about the food 3 weeks later!!!

Wedding May 25th, 2019

Natina and the crew were so amazing. They catered our wedding May 25th, 2019 at The Crystal Ballroom. The food was amazing and delicious. Everyone was very professional. We had more than enough food. Everyone stated that the food was delicious.

Simply Amazing!

As my wife puts it “The best brisket I ate my entire life”.
The food was unbelievable. We ordered chicken, ribs, and brisket, and the later one was the absolute hit.

Besides the food, the service was remarkable! Super friendly, super quick, and super easy.

Highly, highly recommend!

BBQ to die for

You can't go wrong with Smokey Jay's. Not only is the food amazing, but so are the owners! If you're planning a wedding and want the best BBQ, choose them! They have a fully customizable catering menu and go above and beyond. Our guests were raving about how good the food is!

Smokey J’s catered my wedding!

I worked closely with Natina while planning the food for my wedding. She gave excellent direction and insight. Always wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted and for a great price. This is the second wedding she had catered for my family. Both times she went above and beyond. The food was so good, everyone still raves about the bbq egg rolls. I highly recommend Natina and her team at Smokey Jay’s.

Delicious and Authentic BBQ Food

We are from the UK and had our wedding in Orlando in April 2019. We came across Smokey Jay’s online and loved the sound of their menu. On a trip out to Orlando prior to the wedding we headed down to the Farmers Market in Orlando to meet Jacob and Natina and sample their food. We loved it and booked with them that week. Natina was great at keeping in touch via emails - responding to any queries I had.

On the wedding day they came and provided the most amazing wedding food we and all our guests have ever experienced. We wanted our food to be delicious, relaxed and informal and Smokey Jays were able to provide this whilst at the same time keeping a professional approach. The food from our wedding is one of the main talking points of the day. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

Don't get BBQ anywhere else..

Jacob KNOWS HOW TO MAKE BBQ!!! Our guests loved the food we served. We were able to do a tasting first hand, don't miss out on that! Natina, his wife, was communicative & the prices are very reasonable! Only thing to mention is to make sure you tell them you want water, we made that mistake *shrug*

Top Notch Wedding BBQ

Natina and Jacob were amazing! It was such a pleasure dealing with Natina to coordinate the food and beverages for our reception. She was super accommodating of all the food allergies in my group, and she was always responsive and kept me updated throughout the process.

The food itself was off the charts good! My husband and I's families are all from the south (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia), and everyone was raving about how this was the best barbecue they've ever had! The pulled pork and smoked were just so darn good and the sides were excellent.

The catering crew they had with them that day was also terrific. Everyone was just so friendly and helpful and made my reception an absolute pleasure!

Amazingggg!

Smokey Jay's made our night that much better! Although we didn't get to eat too much during, our guests raved about how wonderful the food was. We heard there was plenty and that it was served hot! The staff had excellent customer service and were willing to help with any task. Best of all the prices were reasonable! If you are looking for a meal that will fill your guests up with seconds, and doesn't cost you a mansion, look no further! Thank you Natina and Jacob for making our day special! They will not disappoint you!!!!

Delicious!

We had a wedding with about 150 people. Smokey Jay's was very responsive from the beginning with any questions I had, change in guest count, and advice in general. The food was delicious and all the guests thought the same as well! They provide sweet southern BBQ service and it truly shows. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome and satisfaction from the food provided at our wedding.

Book them!!

I don’t even know where to start with how incredible my experience with Smokey Jay’s BBQ was!! The second I tried their Mac and cheese I was hooked! It only got better from there. Every single thing I tried was so delicious and I couldn’t wait for my guests to get to try it as well! Natina was such a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process, always very responsive to any questions I had and also so sweet to check on how I was doing in other aspects of planning. Once the wedding day arrived everything came together flawlessly. Guests are still raving about every single thing they had to eat. So many guests that normally hate coleslaw have commented to me how much they loved Smokey Jay’s coleslaw and could eat it by the bucket full! There isn’t one thing they didn’t love. Almost everyone got back up for seconds. Food was one my biggest priorities and I most definitely made a winning choice with Smokey Jay’s! My husband and I made sure to actually find some time to eat during the reception and were so excited to throw down on the food that was boxed up for us the next day. I could go on for days about how amazing my experience was with their catering and just overall with Smokey Jay’s. If you have any doubts, put them away. BOOK THEM!! It’ll be one of the best choices you make!

Best crew ever

Natina and her crew did an amazing job! They arrived on time and made sure everything was perfect! The food was amazing and we are still getting compliments on how good everything was between the appetizers during cocktail hour and dinner! By far the best bbq around! We will definitely be using them again and will definitely recommend them to everyone! Thank you again Smokey Jays!

Amazing food and people!

Natina and her crew did such an amazing job on our wedding day! Everyone still mentions how good the food was and how fresh! They were all super friendly and accommodating too! We had a blast! We had a very specific menu with a good amount of food for a very reasonable price. They had the smokers on site which made all the difference! The food was truly spot on and the customer service too. Natina helped me through a mini meltdown the last couple of days before the wedding when I couldn't take anymore planning and she was just great! I wish I lived in the area so I could eat their food all the time! Seriously, hire these people! You won't be disappointed.

Natina and Jacob are beyond amazing! From my first email to the last 1,000th!! They made sure all of my questions were answered and never made me feel like it was a bother!! The FOOD only speaks for its self but having a great couple behind it makes it even better!! The food was amazing and everyone was happy. The only things I would change or add for constructive feedback is that you should supply more plates and utensils. We ran out early and I needed someone to gleaned the party and go get some. Be sure to advise people to have more or remember that people often throw away their plate before seconds :-)

Natina and Jacob are amazing!! They worked with our venue to coordinate times and delivery. They were so friendly and always available to answer a question. The food was amazing, and our guest keep talking about how much they loved it. They even had extra and boxed it up to make sure my husband and I had food for the end of the night.

Natina and Jacob are amazing!! I am still hearing everyone from our wedding rave over their food! But not only is their food amazing, but they turn into family in the process of working with them. After we chose them to cater our wedding I knew we were in good hands and I didn’t have to worry about anything! It was such a pleasure working with them and we are already trying to plan a family get together so we can get some more of their food!! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Smokey Jay’s!!!!!

Smokey Jay's BBQ was by far the best vendor we hired. The food was outstanding and they are the kindest people. Everyone that came to our wedding couldn't stop raving about our food. I look forward to keeping in contact with them!

My husband and I booked with Smokey Jay's for our wedding at The Acre on 11/26/17 and I am so glad we did. My husband really really wanted BBQ for the big day and it turned out fantastic, not to mention that Natina and Jacob are so kind. They are at the Farmers Market at Lake Eola on Sundays, my then fiance went and tried the food and we were blown away! The pulled pork, baked beans and potatoes were particularly good. The guests at the wedding were raving about the food and I really, really enjoyed it too! They also coordinated a wine and beer open bar which was very affordable, guests loved the peach tea they supplied and they were able to arrange a champagne toast for us and rented champagne flukes for the event. Natina was very easy to get in touch with via text or email and reached out to me throughout the wedding planning process to make sure everything ran smoothly. If you are wanting BBQ for your wedding or any event (or just want to grab some at the Farmer's Market!) I would highly recommend Smokey Jay's!!!

We hired Smokey Jay's to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Natina and her husband were always so sweet and helpful.Chef Jacob is incredible! Natina responded to email so quickly and seemed to really care about our experience. She is so sweet! The food was absolutely incredible and honestly some of the best barbecue I have ever had. Our wedding guests are still raving about how good the food was at our wedding. Our wedding guests also keep commenting about how kind they were. To make things even better the price was extremely affordable. I highly recommend Smokey Jay's Bar B Q! We will be traveling to Orlando to eat their food at the farmers market soon!

Natina and Jacob provided exceptional customer service! The food was some of the best bbq I have tasted and our guests loved it as well. I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

Smokey Jay's catered my daughter's wedding. The food was delicious, Jacob & Natina were great to work with! They worked with us to stay within our budget, the food was amazing. I still have people asking who we had as a cater! Jacob & his staff were professional & courteous. The food was ready on time, everything from the main entrée to the sides were delicious.

I could go on an on about Smokey Jay's. They made my wedding night a complete success. Natina and her husband, and the entire Smokey Jays family were so warm on the day of my wedding, I feel so blessed to have had them as a part of it all! The food was AMAZING - seriously, everything was SO good. My guests couldn't stop talking about how yummy everything was - AND I couldn't stop eating it (as the Bride!). I think what really made them so wonderful was how affordable their full-service catering is, providing an amazing service to people who may not be able to have it otherwise. Not to mention, I didn't find them until VERY last minute, and they were still able to accommodate my large wedding. I would recommend Smokey Jay's to anyone!!

I've been in Orlando for about 4 years and this is the best BBQ I've had hands down! Natina and her husband are absolutely amazing. She was available anytime I had questions and was very responsive. I called around to a lot of places in the Orlando area and their price was the best. I would recommend them for any catering event and I know I'll use them again!!!!

We met them at a perfect wedding guide and ended up using them for one of our corporate event.
Event size was about 200 people and everyone loved it so much. They were very flexible and food was delicious. Everyone kept asking where we catered from. Thank you so much for everything!

Smokey Jay's Bbq is phenomenal and their cole slaw is to die for! They are very accommodating and will work with you, even if you have a tight budget. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! We will be using them again for our future events.

Jacob and Natina catered our engagement party locally as well as our rehearsal dinner about two hours away and were UNBELIEVABLE both times. From start to finish, they were very professional and went above and beyond to ensure we were very satisfied. It was easy to trust them as it was obvious they truly cared about us, not just as clients. They’re both very well organized and had great setups at both of our events.

Now to the most important part…the BBQ. Let me start by saying this is by far the best BBQ in Central Florida. My husband was born and raised in Memphis, TN - the BBQ capital of the U.S. – and is very selective when it comes to eating BBQ. Half of our rehearsal dinner guests were from the Memphis area as well, and couldn’t stop raving about the food. We had pulled pork, smoked chicken, mac and cheese, green beans, bbq beans, yellow rice and salad – along with peach cobbler and banana pudding for desert. Everything was off the charts – and it’s very clear that Jacob not only loves his craft, but is very good at it. Both meats were smoked to perfection - with great flavor and tenderness. All 50+ attendees couldn’t get enough of Smokey Jay’s BBQ. The good news is that Jacob and Natina were very well prepared and had plenty of food at both events - nothing ever ran low, which is very impressive considering all of our guests got seconds (and thirds).

We cannot say enough good things about Smokey Jay’s BBQ - if you like good food prepared and served by good people – you will not be disappointed. The quality, value and service is more than you can ask for A++++++

Quick responses to email through the entire planning process as well as the week leading up to the wedding. Willing to cater even though wedding venue was over 50 miles away. (Groom's favorite bbq place)
Potato salad, macaroni and cheese and chicken were excellent however, it was the pull pork that received all the compliments from guests. Portion sizes were generous.

Natina and Jacob (Jay) were wonderful! They truly tried to understand what we wanted and delivered! They are pleasant, have genuine smiles, professional, friendly, and kind. The BBQ (and other food, too) was excellent!!!

Both Natina and Jacob of Smokey Jays were incredibly professional, all while being insanely personable and friendly. Their food was DELICIOUS...we chose the pulled pork, smoked chicken, mac n cheese (to DIE for!), veggies, caesar salad, apple dumplings (also to die for!), tea, and lemonade. I had two super picky chefs as wedding guests and they agreed that every single thing tasted phenomenal! The fact that they were willing to travel to my home for our tasting was so convenient, and all of my questions and concerns were always answered promptly. People still talk about how good the food was, and now my brother is using them for his wedding too! Would hire and recommend over and over again!
