We had an incredible experience with Sarah and her team! Extremely talented makeup artists and hair stylists! My fam and I are not makeup girls so it was amazing to have someone who understood what we were looking for. Natural, not heavy, but looking fierce and stunning! We were all so happy with how we looked! Sarah is professional, responsive, and most importantly fun! she makes the whole experience a blast. i didn't feel stressed at all. prices were reasonable too! I trusted her and she blew me away! I highly recommend SLT!! -

Sarahs the best
Sarah did my make up exactly how I wanted for my wedding. She also did my bridesmaids makeup amazingly & her hair team did an awesome job as well!! Sarah was so fun & easy to talk with. I even did my spray tan with her which was PERFECT. I just cannot recommend her enough!!! -

Sarah and her team were incredible. I have been lucky enough to use STL twice, once as a bridesmaid and then for my own wedding. I picked SLT based off the amazing experience I had as a bridesmaid for my best friends wedding. As someone who doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup, Sarah always listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable through the process. On top of her the SLT team being extremely talented, they also are great people. They were so fun to work with and created such fun vibes to kick off my wedding day! I would highly recommend them for brides looking for a team to do hair and makeup for themselves and their wedding party. -

There’s not enough space for me to truly articulate how amazing Sarah (makeup) and Kylee (hair) are. They did a fantastic job, I asked for a natural look, and they nailed it. Not to mention totally saved me. The hair vendor I originally hired bailed a month before my wedding, and Sarah literally saved me by recommending Kylee for my hair. They did such a fabulous job I couldn’t have been happier- they were fun to hang out with too :) THE BEST!!!! -

I had such a great experience working with SLT Makeup Artistry. Sarah made me feel so comfortable and SO beautiful on my wedding day! She is the nicest person. I gave her a few examples of what I was looking for with my hair and makeup, and she worked with me at the trial to find looks I loved! She also incorporated the little changes I wanted to make. On the day of the wedding, they did such a good job getting all of us ready on time, and even managed to fit in my cousin who decided last minute to get her hair and makeup done! Sarah is the girl you want at your side on your wedding day! She's fun and easygoing and always kept things on schedule. It's so clear that she loves what she does and that this is her passion. I'm not someone that wears makeup every day, and she did a great job of making me look glamorous and "bridal" without it feeling like too much. She also was really open to feedback when I wasn't sure I liked something, and was more than happy to switch it up. She truly goes above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough! -

Like every wedding day, it starts with the bride in a chair and a stylist- and I sure was lucky to have Sarah taking care of me. She was super nice; listened to me and brought her own creativity and style to my wedding look. The whole time went like a breeze as we excitedly chatted and before I knew it- she turned me into a princess. This woman really is a fairy godmother of looks! She perfectly pinned all of my hair accessories and they did not budge even after a night of dancing. My makeup look was everything I wanted! Hire her if you want the perfect look -

Amazing wedding hair stylist!
Sarah Tjaden did our hair for my wedding! She was absolutely amazing! She always responded back to me pretty much right away (even if I sent her a message or inquiry at random hours of the day or on the weekend). I was indecisive about how I wanted my hair so on the day of my wedding I completely changed it compared to how we did it at my trial. She looked at my inspo pic and did my hair the exact way and it turned out perfect, better than I imagined! She has the best attitude and positive energy! She’s the person you want with you, laughing and singing along to your pre wedding playlist helping you get ready and look amazing on your big day! 100% recommend!

I loved working with Sarah and her team for my wedding day. Each bridesmaid mentioned how they felt that the team took their time perfecting their look as much as they would if they were the bride. They listened to what we said we were comfortable with and it felt like we were hanging out with friends the whole day. The best part is the make up & hair stays the whole time! Even with many tears and intense dancing! I loved them so much I always suggest them to every bride I can. The professionalism, organization and fun personality of the group really made my day special. -

I wouldn’t choose any other vendor for my hair and make up services! They are so friendly and not only do they make you as the bride feel so special but they made all my girls feel the same exact way! I truly couldn’t thank them enough for everything. I can't say enough great things about Sarah and Karly. I first met them when my best friend got married and I knew I had to book them too. Amazing personalities, very professional, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to! I wasn't a traditional bride, and they absolutely DELIVERED MY VISION! If you're thinking about booking services... do it!! Sarah and Karly were AMAZING! They made myself and my bridesmaids feel like models on my wedding day! Makeup felt very light and easy to wear (I had an outdoor ceremony and makeup and hair held up perfectly for a hot August day). SLT created a wonderful environment and I would 100% recommend! -

Amazing hair/makeup, prompt, professional and fun staff!
10/10! SLT did hair and makeup for my wedding and I could not have been more impressed. A few of my bridesmaids have been in multiple weddings, and they kept raving about how this was their favorite hair/makeup experience. In addition to amazing hair and makeup, they were also super prompt and professional. We were actually done ahead of schedule! This promptness applied to the whole experience - Sarah was also super quick about getting back to me during the wedding planning process which was much appreciated. I usually don't wear a ton of makeup and told Sarah I wanted a natural look, and she nailed it. I am also a big face toucher, and even though I accidentally touched my face constantly throughout the day, my makeup still looked super fresh at the end of the night! I am also very indecisive and changed both my hair and makeup the day of, and Sarah (makeup) and Karly (hair) were awesome at helping me make final decisions and went above and beyond to make sure I loved the final product (and I did!). In addition to amazing services, all of the girls (Sarah, Karly, Stef, and Steph) were super sweet. It felt like my friends were doing my hair and makeup. Hair and makeup with SLT was the perfect way to start my wedding day, and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup! -

I was originally supposed to get married in May and we scheduled my trial for January. Karly and Sarah both blew me away with their natural talent and ability to turn my vision into reality! They both exceeded my expectations and allowed me to feel so comfortable and relaxed on my wedding day because of how much confidence I had after my trial. I also have learned that the way Sarah schedules trials well in advance is so helpful because I do know other brides who have gotten trials closer to the wedding and they feel anxious so looking back I'm so happy she did it that way! Sarah also communicated super well and was so flexible and helpful with rebooking! She brought so much positive energy on my wedding day and made all my bridesmaids feel their best too! After my wedding a few of my bridesmaids even decided to book with her! -

Sarah and her girls are awesome!! I grew up with Sarah and have followed her beautiful makeup artistry for several years, so I knew I wanted her at my wedding. She is so sweet and bubbly, being around her energy is contagious. Even though we knew each other from childhood, she was so professional during the whole process. I never felt pressured for any decision.
I did my trial with Sarah and Karly, and they both are amazing to work with. They really took their time and wanted to be sure I was happy with how everything looked. I ended up changing my mind about my hair - I loved my trial but wanted my hair up instead, and they were super easy with that too.
My bridal party looked like goddesses and loved working with the whole team! My hair and makeup both lasted through the end of the night. I felt like myself but a bit more glam, which was exactly how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. It looked great on camera too.
I’ve had my makeup done a few times for weddings, and how Sarah did it was EASILY my favorite ever! Booking SLT is an easy decision - you won’t regret it! -

This is the BEST makeup/hair artist company I could have ever asked for on my wedding day. My makeup looked flawless and lasted until the next day! (Yes I fell asleep with it on..) Sarah and Karly are true pros and their assistants were amazing, too. They made my mom (who literally NEVER has gotten her hair or makeup done) feel comfortable and ok with the process. Not to mention she looked and felt absolutely beautiful! The price you pay is totally worth it and I would highly recommend them. Thank you! -

Sarah is the absolute best! I can't say it enough. I looked flawless for 12+ hours through all my happy tears, non-stop dancing, and even rain. Makeup didn't go anywhere and it did not feel heavy in any way. She was so organized and helped me with my "day of" hair and makeup schedule for me and my 8 bridesmaids. On top of everything else, she is just a joy to talk to. I wouldn't want to sit for an hour getting my makeup done with anyone else. -

I could not have been more thrilled with the work of Sarah and her team. I have gotten hair and make up done for several other events prior to my own wedding and there has never been a time that absolutely everyone was happy with their result - but I can say that every single person loved their results with the work of Sarah and her team. Everyone felt comfortable, and the hairstyle/make up did not overwhelm them or feel so far off from how they see themselves from day to day. Their work accentuates your natural beauty, making it customizable to you! The girls had an amazing attitude, and felt apart of our wedding party while we were getting ready, not as people there just working. It was obvious that their goal was make you happy, each person would check several times to make sure their vision was the direction you wanted to go in for your look. They were open to changes, and were able to adjust their technique to the exact style each girl was looking for. I can’t thank them enough for taking so much stress of my shoulders by knowing how much confidence I had in their work. During the trial run, every single aspect of the hair and make up was covered, I didn’t feel like I was getting a “sort of” idea of how I would look, the trial was the exact look I received on the wedding day. Giving your brides that much attention prior to the wedding means a great deal, because so much of a wedding is pre-planning and hoping it all comes together well. With Sarah, I was 100% sure that I would be happy with her services. I would recommend her team to everyone, prices are reasonable and realistic for what you are provided and more than worth it! Love love love SLT Make-Up Artistry! -

Wonderful experience
Working with Sarah and her team of girls was one of my best wedding decisions! I went back and forth on my wedding hair and makeup and Sarah was super patient with me through multiple trials and was always super pleasant and basically just like hanging out with your own group of friends.
On wedding day, Sarahs team was prompt, efficient, brought a fun/bubbly/relaxed environment and worked SO well with all requests and allergy restrictions. My wedding hair and makeup were amazing— Sarah read my mind on the look I had envisioned for my wedding day and excelled my expectations!! All of my girls and the mothers looked beautiful and the hair and makeup lasted the entire evening!!

Sarah did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my mother's hair & my mother-in-law's hair! I'm extremely picky about my makeup and hair, and she blew me away with her talent. She really listened to what I wanted and made me truly feel stunning. She knows how to create any style that still looks natural and photographs beautifully. She is professional and fun, and her prices are reasonable -- especially for how talented she is! Cannot recommend her enough! -
Robin Sent on 07/03/2018Sarah was AMAZING to work with! She is so knowledgeable in the makeup industry and explains what she uses and why. She is so accommodating with changing schedules and adding/removing services last minute, and was always a phone call or text away if I had a question (I live out of state). My whole morning was spent with Sarah and my bridesmaids, and she has such a fun personality and it was such a pleasure to be around her. I hope I get the opportunity to work with her again, even if it's just doing my makeup for a different wedding or a girl's night out.

Alexandra Sent on 01/05/2018Sarah did my wedding makeup, as well as 4 of my bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. She brought an assistant to do eyes while she did face so we could get done quicker (though as the bride she did my entire makeup). I could not be happier with Sarah's services!!! I love the way the makeup turned out...she made me feel beautiful but also made sure I still looked like myself. That was huge for me- I'd never had my makeup professionally done before, so I was nervous that I'd look completely different. She ensured that was not the case! I chose to do airbrush, and it lasted all day/evening. She was very flexible as I tried to figure out my day-of schedule & helped me figure out how to make the timing work. On top of all of that, Sarah made the whole process fun and easy. I felt like we were friends by the time my trial was done, and it was super fun to have her helping us get ready on the day of the wedding. Her expertise and talent are second to none. Highly recommend booking her for your wedding or any special event! She was perfect!
