Chris was awesome to work with from start to finish. He made time for multiple calls leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was dialed in, which gave us a ton of confidence going into the big day.
They handled everything seamlessly—from a beautiful violin performance during the ceremony, to a perfect jazz set for cocktail hour, and then absolutely crushed it as the MC and band for the reception. The energy all night was incredible and the dance floor was packed.
We’re still getting compliments from friends and family about how great the band was. If you’re looking for a group that can do it all and keep the night flowing perfectly, this is your band.

There truly is no better wedding band than The Slippery Band! From the very first song to the final encore, they exceeded every possible expectation and completely elevated our wedding celebration. Guests are still talking about them—every single person commented on how incredible the band sounded and how much fun they had on the dance floor all night long. Slippery Band brought the party!
Slippery Band absolutely brought the party for our wedding! Our reception was outdoors but the sound was still full and lively without drowning out the whole event. Chris was very proactive during the planning phase, including helping us navigate all of the different decisions and orchestration that helped make the night feel tailored to us. Slippery has an extensive library to pick from and even learned a few songs for us. They nailed the flow and timing to fit our plans and give the reception the musical connections we wanted. We’d definitely recommend Slippery Band!

Simply the best
From booking to boogying, the Slippery Band was a pleasure to work with. Chris was very responsive when questions were asked in the months before the wedding. We had them do ceremony guitar, cocktail hour three-piece, and the full band for dancing. We even went a little bit outside their norm and they accommodated with the type of three-piece instrument ensemble that I wanted to use. They learned two new songs for us and executed them delightfully. Their emcee was great and he worked with the wedding coordinators smoothly. On top of all the work they did for us, they kept smiles on their faces, a professional demeanor, and I truly believe that they enjoyed themselves.

A wedding to remember!
Slippery band was 10/10! I don’t think a single person sat the entire night- Slippery kept the dance floor alive from the moment they started playing! Months after our wedding we still have people talking about how good our wedding band was! Could not recommend enough! We hired Slippery Band having seen them perform at a family member's wedding 9 years prior, and they were even better than we had hoped for!! Our wedding was at HollyHedge Estate, and they are a preferred vendor for good reason. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our band was 3 months later! We had them do our ceremony and reception and everything went off without a hitch. They were super easy to communicate with leading up to the big day which helped to keep the stress levels low when picking our first song and Mom/Son and Father/Daughter dances. They learned and performed all of the songs we went for these dances, and you can tell all of the members have a fun time performing, which adds to the whole experience! We will always recommend Slippery Band!!

If you want a band that truly wants to make the day special for you and keeps the dance floor packed all night, Slippery Band is a MUST HAVE. We have seen them play at multiple family members' weddings over the years, and we knew that we needed to have them at our wedding. They were super easy to communicate with throughout the entire planning process and met every request we asked for. Awesome Wedding Band!
Slippery Band was fantastic at our Philadelphia wedding! Chris was a true professional, listening to our wedding reception vision, clearly explaining the decisions we needed to make, and overall communicating very well leading up to the big day. Made our wedding night unforgettable
We could not have asked for a better wedding band! From start to finish, their communication was excellent—clear, timely, and incredibly responsive. We got married in a restaurant and they were able to fit all 8 pieces of thier band in a very small space. We hired Slippery Band as our Wedding Day band and they absolutely crushed it! This is the fourth time seeing Slippery band perform (they did my brother’s, sister’s, and cousin’s weddings) and they have come through every single time. They did our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and the reception and nailed the vibe and set the tone perfectly throughout each part of the day. The dance floor was filled throughout the entire reception and we had so many guests come up to us and tell us how incredible the band was. Aside from the music, they are so great to work with. They work with the couple to make the day exactly how you want it. I couldn’t recommend Slippery Band more!

First off, the communication leading up to the wedding was exceptional. They were very involved in the sing selections, first dances, announcements, everything was well planned and well executed. Now, for the event itself, from the first note to the last, The Slippery Band made the night memorable and magical. The dance floor was packed all night, and 4 months later people are still talking about the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and I’m still taking a victory lap for hiring them. Book Slippery Band!
Slippery Band never disappoints! We hired them because we had seen them many times prior to our event, and they always know how to engage a crowd and make an event memorable. We were looking for something to add to a yearly event that was getting "dry" and they were outstanding! No one wanted to leave. Slippery Band is the Best!!
Throughout our wedding planning process, we didn't know where to start when it came to entertainment - DJ vs. Band and also who within each of those categories. We heard of Slippery Band from a few friends and decided to check them out - first on YouTube and then in person at one of their showcases/events. We were sold right away. They are a great band and can compete with some of the most elite wedding/cover bands. What really made the difference was Chris. Chris was so detailed oriented and made sure every single part of the day was exactly how we wanted it - no ifs and or buts. Plus, the fact that the Band has such great chemistry and who you hear in the showcase is who you get on your special day. I can't stress this enough - please please please book Slippery Band for your day - you won't be dissappointed.

The greatest!
We couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding! We originally had a different band booked for our wedding, but a few months before we were told they double booked and could no longer perform at our wedding. We were scrambling and a friend recommended Slippery Band. Somehow they were available for our date and came in and saved the day. It turned out to be a blessing disguise because Slippery Band was more than I could have imagined. From the very beginning, Chris was incredibly friendly, responsive, and organized, relieving all of my stress. Their communication was flawless, ensuring every detail was just right and answering every email right away.
On the day of the wedding, they truly brought the energy! Not only did they sound amazing, but they knew how to work a crowd. My husband and I are so happy that we hired the Slippery Band for our wedding! We saw them play Live for the first time at a wedding showcase, and knew they would be awesome. The band covered everything from the ceremony through to the reception - music, intros, and quite literally rocking the house. The Slippery Band had a great set list, and they were able to accommodate every song that we wanted to play. Chris was super easy to work with, and you can tell the band has been playing together for years by the way they perform and jive so well together on stage. Creating the Best Dance Floor Everytime!
Slippery Band played at several of our family and friends weddings previously, and after experiencing their talent and FUN it was a no brainer to book them first as soon as we got engaged. First off, Chris is an absolute pleasure to work with - extremely organized, timely in his communication and thorough. We requested they learn three different songs not on their initial song list for our first dance and parent dances, and they were incredible! Learning Celine Dion and Maggie Rogers is one thing, but sounding arguably better than the original artists in another! After those dances they had EVERY wedding guest up an dancing and having the best time. They played everything from current pop to oldies and rock and had something in their repertoire to please everyone. A packed and fun dance floor was so important to us, and Slippery Band made sure it was the best ever!! Hire them for your wedding and you will not be disappointed.

We cannot thank Slippery Band enough for elevating our wedding to the next level! We were blown away by their talent, professionalism, set list, hospitality, and generosity with our crowd. Slippery Band is the best!!!! When my husband and I and our families started planning our wedding, the band was one of the most important items for us and Slippery Band did not disappoint! The dance floor was not empty once and we still get comments on how great they were when we see any of our guests. Best Wedding Band
Hands down the best choice we made for our Wedding. The group was not only incredibly easy to work with and accommodated a lot of our requests, but they absolutely brought the house down. It's been over a year since our wedding and every time our wedding comes out the first thing our friends/family say is "Oh my god, that band!!". Multiple friends and friends of friends have already used/booked them for their weddings since.

Best band ever
The Slippery Band made our wedding!!!! Guest could not stop raving about the music and the energy they brought. The dance floor was elbow to elbow from the minute they started playing until the final song. We have been to so many weddings with and without the Slippery Band, and they are next level. I couldn't imagine our day without them. We still get compliments from friends and family about how they made it one of the best weddings they've ever been to. BOOK THEM! We love Slippery Band!
My husband and I got married in June and we could not be happier that we chose Slippery Band! Great music and a fun dance floor were at the top of our priority list, and they exceeded our expectations. The perfect wedding band experience
I was a bit nervous about hiring a band I had never heard play live for my wedding, but Slippery Band was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. From beginning to end they were responsive, helpful, professional, flexible, and were SO talented and fun. They have a huge repertoire so guests of all ages will enjoy the entertainment. All our guests were blown away by how great they were, and I was so pleased that their goal was the same as mine: to have the dance floor packed all night. They definitely met that goal!! I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a great time and a smooth planning process.

Amazing voices! Keeps the dance floor hopping all night long!
Our friends and family are still raving about Slippery Band! They were amazing and learned some new songs for us, which was particularly meaningful given my husband is Australian. Chris was a pleasure to work with ahead of time. He helped us plan our reception order, and was always very responsive. The day of the wedding, they were very flexible in rearranging the order of the reception last minute given my need to change out of my dress sooner than expected. Throughout the night, I sometimes did a double take because the songs were so well played it sounded like the recordings. They kept the dance floor hopping all night long. I highly recommend booking them!

The best wedding band!
Slippery Band was absolutely unbelievable from the second I started communicating with them through my wedding day. Chris answered my emails faster than any other vendor I had. He was so accommodating and made sure all loose ends were tied up! The band has everything you can ask for! They have both male and female lead singers, 3 piece horn section, guitars, keys, drums, everything! I was looking for an amazing band at an affordable price and no one compared to Slippery Band. They provided beautiful ceremony music and accommodated any requests I had. They had our guests dancing all night and even brought my husband and I up on stage to sing a song which was hilarious! I can’t say enough great things about Slippery Band. If you are considering hiring them, DO IT! Thanks Slippery Band for making our night unforgettable!

The best band in all the land! They made our wedding the best day ever with our wide array song accommodations and everyone at our wedding said it was the most fun they have had. Chris and team are the absolute best, they can work around any ideas for ceremony, speeches and songs. I know we had some crazy ideas and Slippery delivered each one.

WOW! We hired this band during the pandemic and were taking a risk as we never had a chance to see them live. The reasons we chose this band initially include their awesome ratings and extremely prompt communication. From the first email, more than 6 hours NEVER passed without a response. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way, sharing suggestions, guidelines and accommodating my every request. Come the big day, they were ON POINT with every detail discussed. We did some song remixes which were fairly complicated, that they completely hit the mark!! One moment late into the evening, my husband and I took a step back to look at the venue, our guests, etc and there were maybe 5 seats filled, EVERYONE was on the dance floor. The music was a perfect mix and we couldn't have received more compliments on how much fun everyone had. Thank you thank you thank you Slippery Band!!!

Perfect band
Ever since the first time I heard Slippery Band play at my cousin's wedding I knew I had to have them at mine! They were incredible and had everyone on their feet the entire night. Slippery Band sounds so good my guests thought they were listening to the original artists of the songs. They ran out of business cards with how many people were asking for them! Slippery Band was amazing at our wedding! Despite multiple COVID-related reschedules, they made the pre-wedding process very straight forward and easy and were not pushy or overbearing. They were professional and accommodating and the keyboardist even took the initiative to rehearse with a family member who was singing a song at the ceremony. And of course - they were a hit at the reception! The band was fantastic and energetic. They had everyone up and dancing. Afterwards we had multiple people approach our family members to get the band's information for later engagements. We really enjoyed dealing with Slippery Band at every stage of the wedding process and highly recommend them!

The Slippery Band truly made our entire wedding and gave us the packed dance floor of me and my husbands dreams! They kept our dance floor packed from start to finish and absolutely crushed it. We had a 300+ person wedding and they truly made it feel like a concert and kept it so upbeat all night. Everyone raved about how amazing our band was and we have had numerous people reach since our wedding to get their contact info. They were also so pleasant to work with and did an amazing job of reading the crowd and coming up with a set list. They helped create an environment where every single guest wanted to be out on that dance floor. They have outstanding voices and are able to play every genre from oldies to country to pop and everything in between. The BEST band!

You won’t leave the dance floor!!
Slippery Band played our event at Penn’s Peak in early November and our guests - grandparents to young cousins - still have not stopped talking about them! They were accommodating to our timeline; open to being lit up on stage but outside lighting partners; and did everything possible to make our celebration perfect - including inviting us up to perform (a dream I’ve always had!!). Their set list was not the kitschy songs you hear at every wedding - exactly what we were looking for and something for everyone to enjoy. No one left the dance floor all night (including myself, who nearly skipped cutting the cake to keep dancing). I can’t recommend Slippery Band enough.

He made the process so easy and helped us plan the timeline of our wedding night (first dances, toasts etc.). What a night! Slippery played for my daughters wedding and my husband can't stop talking about them. Packed Dance Floor All Night
There is nothing we have received more compliments about after our wedding than Slippery Band! This band knows how to party!
Throughout the planning process for our wedding, band leader Chris was responsive and so easy to work with. He helped us organize a few special song requests for our wedding day, and emcee Michael made sure our reception schedule went off without a hitch. Slippery was also able to provide a keyboardist for our ceremony and cocktail hour which made those moments a little extra special too.
Even despite some unexpected COVID-era challenges, Slippery never missed a beat (pun intended)! Our wedding guests packed the dance floor from the moment dinner ended until our venue turned all the house lights up at the end of the night. We are so happy to have chosen Slippery Band for our wedding and recommend them to EVERYONE looking for the ultimate wedding reception experience!

The Slippery Band is incredible! My wife and I heard them perform at another event several years ago and we said, "If we ever get married, we NEED to have them play at our wedding!" They did not disappoint. Chris was very helpful in coordinating the logistics of the day, from the timing and order of everything to the intricacies involved in our first dances. If I could give Chris and the Slippery Band infinity stars I would!! Slippery Band is NOT just a wedding band, but literally the glue that held our wedding day together! I spoke with Chris Noon in the summer of 2019 when we first got engaged and Slippery Band was the first vendor we booked. Both of our families are very passionate about music, and LOVE TO DANCE, so obviously a live band was a must. Hearing the recordings on the website had me hooked, but it was really the responsiveness and likeminded passion that I heard in Chris' voice that closed the deal! It was clear from the beginning that the entire ensemble was committed to giving us the best experience, and he made us feel like his only wedding with each email and phone call. So over two years and a pandemic, we stayed in touch, and even with the difficulties associated with it, Slippery Band learned our unique first dance and father-daughter dance songs, even practicing a custom mash-up of two songs for our first dance.
Not only was did they keep everyone dancing ALL NIGHT, they even worked with me and my photographer to craft the perfect schedule for that day, and kept everything running like clockwork. I truly owe the seamlessness of the entire evening in part to this band! Having an M/C was also very helpful, as that was one more support to us on that day.
We decided to pay to have their keyboardist play for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well, and our guests were very impressed.
A few really unique things about this band that I need to highlight: 1) they only play together. It was so clear that they were comfortable with each other, and that they were also like family, having fun right along with us! It was nice to know that we were not getting a random group of hired musicians but instead a tight-knit band that had played together for years
2) They are all (I believe) classically trained musicians - AND IT SHOWED. Having singers, and brass and woodwind players in our family, the sheer talent and musicianship across the board was EVIDENT.
3) They check their ego at the door. It was so amazing to hear MY PLAYLISTS during the live music breaks and to love and dance to every. single. song. Plus, they read the crowd and specifically choose their set list to be flexible so that they can adjust with the mood of the guests.
Slippery Band is definitely one of the most frequent "best of's" from the wedding when talking to friend and family, with people still raving about them months later!

My husband & I got married on 11/15/2019. We could not speak more highly of the Slippery Band! Chris (Band Leader/Manager) was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. He doesn’t miss a beat-literally! They are true to their word - they will have your guests dancing all night long and it will be the best night of your life. Hands down best band ever!
If you are looking for an amazing band for your Wedding, the Slippery Band is it! My two sisters and myself all had Slippery Band for our weddings. We picked our wedding date based on Slippery Band availability. They are so talented and get everyone on the dance floor! We have many friends who have now booked them for their weddings and we can't wait until our next party with them! They made our reception so filled with amazing music, great energy and tons of fun!

Fully met expectations...made the night!
I knew that I wanted Slippery Band to do my daughter’s wedding. Their showcases and discussions that followed reassured me that they were the right choice. The music provided for the ceremony and reception were right on target. The dance floor was never empty. We had so many of our guests tell us how absolutely great they were.

Party was roaring!
Everyone loved Slippery and we were very glad we went with them. They nailed some hard song requests from us (Seasons of Love, the Hora), and read the crowd like a book. Several people afterwards said that we had the highest energy dance floor from a wedding that they can remember. Ahead of the wedding, they were highly responsive and professional. Slippery Band
I had a 50th surprise party for my husband and they were the highlight of the night. They kept the crowd engaged and were very accommodating to all my requests. I would highly recommend Slippery Band for any event!

Amazing time with Slippery Band!
We used Slippery Band for our wedding in September and they were absolutely fantastic! They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception
First, Chris was great to work with leading up to the wedding. He made everything so easy and you could tell that he really knows his stuff.
Then on our wedding day the band was amazing! They played music we loved and everyone enjoyed. They sounded fantastic and just brought such a fun energy to the dance floor. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the band and music was. We had a blast with Slippery Band and couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

"That was the Best Band we have ever heard at a wedding!"
Our reception would not have been complete if it wasn't for Slippery Band! Chris was extremely helpful in planning and prepping before the Big Day and made sure every detail was covered. He was more than happy to provide suggestions for the Mother/Son Dance, etc. Slippery Band sets the expectation right from the start. They are there to party and they will make sure your guests dance the night away! Guests are still asking us for their information because they would like to have them at their upcoming events! Highlights from the night are that my husband and I were able to perform with the band and Chris took photos from the band's point of view. Turned out to be some of our favorite photos from the reception! 5 stars for Slippery Band!!

The "Perfect" Band
We cannot say enough just how lucky we were to have Slippery Band at our wedding. They came as a suggestion from a friend, and due to distance and schedule, we actually never heard them play until our wedding. But, in talking with Chris and his team, we were immediately put at ease. They got what we were looking for from the outset, and it was a pleasure communicating with them in the lead up to the big day. In fact, we actually miss talking to them! The Slippery Band is THE BEST!
Having The Slippery Band play at our wedding was one of the highlights of the night. They are an incredible group of people who are extremely passionate and professional about their work. They were so easy to work with and unbelievably accommodating. On top of all of that they are a hell of a band - they are so much fun! We had countless guests tell us, "your band was amazing!" Amazing - made the night!
Chris and Slippery Band were super helpful leading up to the event and had everything run flawlessly come show time. They put on on an amazing show and kept our 250 guests dancing all night long - the dance floor was full the whole time! 10/10 would recommend.

A must have!
I can not recommend The slippery band enough! They are a guaranteed great time! We have used them twice now and both times the dance floor was packed! They know how to get every wedding guest dancing and having a great time!! We constantly have people saying to us “I don’t remember a wedding that had all the guests on the dance floor!”

The best dance party ever
The Slippery Band certainly did not disappoint us. They were beyond all expectations and our expectations were very high. Chris was very quick to respond to us whenever we had questions and were wiling to learn the songs we wanted that were special to us. My husband is of latin heritage and they were willing to work us and play songs to include everyone at our wedding. They had 100% energy 100% of the time. Our only wish at the wedding was that we had the best dance party and we did. They made the night!!!!

The Band You Need to Make Your Wedding "The Best Wedding Ever"!
I cannot say enough about The Slippery Band! At the showcase, Chris and the other band members were so friendly and passionate about their work. Chris was extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The band's goal was the same as ours, to keep everyone dancing the entire night. They certainly accomplished that goal! They played to the crowd and the dance floor was packed the entire reception. December Wedding
Wow! What an amazing job that the Slippery Band did at our wedding. My husband and I first heard them at the Italian Festival in Wilmington, DE. We wanted to have our parents hear them before we book so my husband, parents and future mother in law went to a demo that they were having and right after the first song, we knew they were the right band for us! From the cocktail hour music to dinner music and dancing music, we were blown away.
Working with the band was an absolutely seamless process. They emailed promptly, worked with our venue, and were always so positive and excited about our event.
Our wedding was the weekend before Christmas and we had requested some Christmas music..so much fun!
Slippery Band allowed us to get up and sing with them and even some of our guests! It was amazing!
There is not a bad thing that I could say about working with and having Slippery Band at our wedding. It is still something that people talk about.
If you are considering a band, my husband and I would highly recommend them for your wedding !!!

Hands down...best wedding band!
My husband and I attended a wedding almost 2 years ago where Slippery Band played. We were blown away (not even engaged yet) and agreed they would HAVE to be at our wedding. They were very responsive and easy to work with and honestly made wedding planning a joy as they basically helped me make the timeline of the day. Besides being super easy to work with, THEY ROCK. Towards the end of the night they pulled my husband and I on stage and played 2 of our favorite songs. To me, this was the BEST moment of the entire night because it allowed us to take a step back and look out at all of our family and friends as they danced the night away. They even snapped one of my favorite pictures of the entire day - added bonus! It is true when they say the people and the music make the wedding. Slippery Band truly helped make our night one we will never forget. I am trying to find an excuse to throw another party to have them play again! WE LOVE SLIPPERY BAND!!!!!

Chris and his team surpassed all of our expectations. We had been to wedding before ours to which he and the band had played and we knew right away they were for us. Hands down, must have band for a wedding.

Unbelievably Amazing!
The Slippery Band was recommended to us by a friend, and we could not be more thrilled that they were available for our wedding!! Our meetings were comprehensive and made us feel stress free as our day approached. The party started as soon as they arrived! They played our ceremony, and even learned a song that my brother and cousins sang to as I walked down the aisle. They read the crowd perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. They highlighted us and our guests the whole night. Having the DJ as well made everything run smoothly as they took their short break and he was out on the dance floor with us keeping the party going. Everyone continues to talk about how amazing of a party our wedding was and we owe that all to The Slippery Band!!

BEST Wedding Band!
The Slipper Band MADE our wedding! Chris was extremely responsive throughout the planning process and went above and beyond to accommodate our timelines and music requests (including playing songs not on their play list)! The band did not take a break ONCE, and the dance floor was packed all night! We especially loved their personal touches for the bride and groom - "singing" with the band in front of all of our loved ones was such a memorable and fun moment. They Were Amazing - Exceeded Our Expectations
Our family friend recommended Slippery Band to us, and I am so glad she did. They knocked it out of the park in every category - from the emcee (who was awesome), to the dances which were played perfectly, (they even shortened two of the songs for us), to making sure the entire reception was rocking all night. I still have guests talking about how great they were, and how it took our wedding to the next level. Chris was super helpful with planning out the flow of the reception, and accommodating all our requests. They are professionals who have tons of experience, and will make your wedding reception a night to remember. Would highly recommend.

Best party ever
Slippery band put on the best show ever for our wedding! They kept us and our guests dancing the entire night - which is exactly what we wanted! The were able to read the room perfectly and play songs that kept everyone moving and threw in a few ballads at the perfect time when they could tell we needed a break. It was a dream of a day - absolutely perfect in every respect. They were so professional beforehand and so incredibly fun that day! Definitely hire Slippery - best money spent!

Slippery Band knows how to put on an amazing show that will keep everyone talking about them for months after the event!! My husband and I had Slippery Band as our wedding band and they did not disappoint! I did tons of Google searching and read hundreds of reviews which led me to this band. I emailed them asking about pricing and they got back to me in the same day! My husband and I went to an open showcase and loved them and we were able to book them on the spot (1.5 years out from our wedding day)! After the showcase the members stuck around to talk to guests and answer questions. This made us felt at ease that they would listen to what we wanted for our big day. Chris, has been amazing with communication via email and phone calls. He followed up with all of our questions prior to the wedding. He was able to communicate with the venue to make sure our day went off without any issues. During our wedding, everything went smoothly. We had the pianist play for the ceremony and the cocktail hour then the band played for the reception. We chose some songs for the band to play but had the band choose the rest. They kept the party dancing the entire time! Just about every guest was on the dance floor! Then near the end we had a fun surprise... the band brought us up on stage, handed us a tambourine and the microphone and we pretended to be rockstars. Of course the band did the vocals but we had the full attention of our guests! Chris even took some great photos of us on the dance floor and on stage. What an amazing band! Absolutely fantastic!
We would recommend Slippery Band to everyone! Our friends and family are still talking about how great they were :)
