Best decision we made!
I could write a book about Sarah, truly. We hired her because we could tell right off the bat that she knew her stuff, and for her experience working with our venue, Union Mills Public House. Sarah was instrumental throughout the wedding planning process in helping our vision come together and answering any and all questions we had pop up. Whether it was helping me choose the right rugs that matched the venue, to helping us create a ceremony layout that fit our vision, to helping me understand exactly how much of everything we needed. Leading up to the wedding, Sarah was extremely communicative with both us and our vendors, ensuring that everything was absolutely in line. I can't event count the amount of times that my husband and I looked at each other and went "we literally could not have done this without Sarah." We had a lofty vision with a ton of details, and every single one of them was taken into account by Sarah and her team the day of. She kept the timeline moving incredibly well - working in step with the caterers, our photographer, videographer, DJ, and even our family members and wedding party.
You can just tell that there is so much passion in the way that Sarah works. It was so easy to develop the level of trust in her and her team to bring together the best day of our lives, and hiring her as our coordinator was by far the best decision we made in our planning process.-

We owe our big day to Sarah!
We highly recommend hiring Sarah as your wedding coordinator. Our wedding was at Union Mills which Sarah knows inside and out. In a process that has so many details, Sarah guided us on what was most important and made sure we considered unique details to make the day ours. I say we owe the day to Sarah because we went into the wedding feeling 100% prepared, confident, and excited, and it was PERFECT. She was highly responsive, offered to answer questions over text (even when she was on vacation!), and guided us through every detail of planning and the full wedding day so that we could fully enjoy. -

The best decision you’ll make
This lady is a god damned delight. Early in the planning process, my mother died and it totally sapped me of any appetite for planning. I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro.
Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is anLGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple. She was extremely RESPONSIVE to all communication and I don’t think I ever waited more than 24 hours to hear back from her. Her planning expertise prior to the actual weekend was invaluable, but she really was our angel during the wedding weekend. She handled the details so that we could stay present and actually enjoy our party!
Thank you Sarah for being such a great partner in bringing this wedding to life. We had the best time with you and miss you already.

Incredible experience with Sarah and her team!
We worked with Sarah Rosier, proprietor of Sleeping Bee Designs, for our wedding in May 2025 at Attaboy Barrel House in Frederick, MD and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Without hesitation, we would recommend Sarah and her team to any couple getting married in the DMV area. Our wedding faced weather complications at the last minute, but because of Sarah’s planning, coordination, relationships with vendors, and upbeat attitude, the day turned out even better than we had dreamed!
We met with Sarah for monthly planning sessions, and she was always willing to be flexible if we needed to reschedule or meet for longer than planned. We knew what general vibe we wanted for our wedding, but did not have a specific theme or vendors in mind. Based on her years of experience in the business, Sarah recommended 3-4 vendor options to us for each category that fit our vision and budget, and all of whom were used to working with one another and with Sarah, so they were able to pull off a flawless event! In the end, we made the final vendor decisions based on her recommendations, but her recommendations totally removed the guesswork for us. We never, ever felt as if we were being pushed in any one direction; rather, we always felt that Sarah had our best interests at heart.
Sarah has a great memory and is very organized, so she helped keep us on track and made sure there were no loose ends. The master to-do list template she provided kept us on task and helped us break up larger tasks in a manageable way. She was also conscious of our budget throughout the process, foresaw logistical issues ahead of time to save us time and money, and helped suggest places where we could reasonably cut costs (as well as emphasizing to us which places required *not* cutting corners on cost to ensure a seamless event).
One important value of hiring Sarah is her relationship with vendors in the area, and ability to communicate with them on the couple’s behalf. This made it so much easier to plan and saved us time. Sarah creates a detailed timeline for the wedding day and takes care of coordinating it with vendors and staff to ensure everyone is on task and on the same page about how the day will go. She was also excellent at communicating with our wedding party. Everything went so smoothly on the actual day!
We also contracted with Sarah for our flowers/decor. We told Sarah we wanted to spend less money on this element and adhere to minimalist decoration, and Sarah identified a really fun and colorful approach using growlers, bunny tails, and candles. We loved the way it looked on the day!
Finally, we were blown away by how Sarah handled the last minute challenges involved when the weather looked like it wouldn’t cooperate. We had planned to do our ceremony outdoors, but needed to make a rain call 48 hours in advance. Prior to the rain call, Sarah had already marshaled our vendors together to talk through contingencies, drafted an alternate schedule, and put together a decoration plan for our indoor ceremony location. We felt so taken care of and the extra effort helped make us feel comfortable with changing plans last minute. Our wedding party and family members even keep talking about how amazing she was to work with.

Hiring Sarah was the best decision for our wedding!
Sarah Rosier of Sleeping Bee Designs is hands down the best coordinator in the business. We felt like we could ask her anything and she was always able to make time for us. She put all of our concerns at ease. She is so knowledgeable, had answers for every question of ours, and was ready for any situation. She is a joy to work with, easy to get along with, becomes your best friend during the wedding planning process, and is very responsive. She stayed on top of all our other vendors, making sure they knew where they needed to be and had all of the correct information for our wedding so that we didn’t need to. She filled us with confidence and we had no worries on our wedding day. Sarah was instrumental in us having the best day of our lives. She is the best choice of coordinators and to have the best day possible she is the only coordinator to go with! -

Best decision we made for our wedding!
We are SO beyond grateful we hired Sleeping Bee Designs. Sarah and her team are truly worth more than their weight in gold. Sarah has resources, connections, and insight within the wedding industry that are invaluable. There’s so much I never would have had access to without her expertise. She took away the worry that came with picking the right vendor team, because she’s worked with so many different vendors in the area that she already knows who is reliable and who is top quality.
We also hired Emily as designer to help us achieve the vision we wanted for our wedding. She was absolutely fantastic! She helped us make everything cohesive and gave us fun ideas we wouldn’t have thought of on our own. She also helped us source everything we needed which was so helpful!!
Our guests raved about how efficiently the entire night flowed, because Sarah had every second accounted for and her team kept everything flowing so naturally.
Sarah truly made the entire year leading up to our wedding so stress free. We can never thank her enough for creating the most magical, seamless wedding day. SBD is TRULY the best in their field and I would recommend them to everyone! 10/10. -

Made our wedding perfect!!
Sarah and her team at Sleeping Bee Designs were absolutely amazing. Our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without their services. They were quick, helpful and friendly in their communication, responding to all my emails, texts, and questions throughout the planning process extremely fast. Sleeping Bee Designs was also proactive, efficient, and delivered perfect results, helping to coordinate with other vendors that weren't as communicative and setting up the decor flawlessly. Sarah and her team are great at what they do and truly wanted us to have the best day possible. Sarah eased my mind and I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of the wedding! -

I cannot express enough how thankful we are that we hired Sarah as our day-of coordinator. On our wedding day, and the weeks leading up to it, she truly went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly.
Sarah was incredibly organized, managing the timeline flawlessly. Every detail was executed perfectly, from the setup of the ceremony to the flow of the reception. It was evident that she had a great rapport with all the vendors, which made communication seamless. Beyond the logistics, Sarah was extremely friendly and made everyone feel comfortable.

Sarah is truly one of a kind. We knew she was our coordinator the second we met her. She made me feel so at peace knowing my details were handled. Sbd is fantastic!
Sarah and the SBD team were so great to work with!! From the beginning, Sarah established clear communication and really went above and beyond to help us make sure our wedding day was great and help us feel at ease that she would be there with us on the day. We had a unique and clear vision for how our day would go that mixed elements from different cultures and Sarah really helped us shape our ideas into an amazing experience. Seriously -- she helped lead a Baraat!! It was incredible! She asked insightful questions that helped us consider new ideas and REALLY paid attention to all details. We can't say this enough -- Sarah made sure that no detail was forgotten. She was a blast to work with and we would hire her again in a heartbeat! You might not think you need a Sarah but then you start planning your wedding and meet Sarah, and then you wonder how you could go down this road without her! She is the glue that helped keep everything together. -

If you are planning a wedding, you must have Sarah and her team included in on the planning and coordinating! From the very start, Sarah has been a sense of calm in the business that planning brings. We instantly clicked with her! It wasn’t easy for us in planning since we had some setbacks come up within the year but she kept us together with communicating with other vendors and on track for the actual date to run smoothly. You can really tell that she has great connections with a lot of vendors in the area! She was responsive to any questions and made herself available if anything popped up. On the day, my mom wasn’t able to help me get into my dress due to health setbacks and Sarah stepped in without any hesitations. A moment that I’m truly thankful for! We didn’t have to worry about the small stuff because we knew Sarah could handle the good and the bad! Many and many thanks to Sarah for playing such a crucial role and being part of our wedding! -

Fantastic, would hire her again in a heartbeat!
Sarah, Emily and the SBD team are absolutely incredible. If you are getting married in Maryland and especially in the Frederick area this is your team. Sarah is professional, communicative, personable, and most importantly she knows her stuff. She has such strong relationships with many vendors in Frederick. This really sets her apart from the rest, all vendors speak so highly of her and she was worth her weight in gold for our June wedding at Union Mills. I highly, highly recommend Sarah and her team for any wedding coordination needs. We lived out of town (but I am from Frederick) and she worked around all of our schedules to make sure we could do an early venue walkthrough. You may think it unnecessary but it really helped to see it all pulled together and Sarah had all the goodies to show us and it really helped to choose how we wanted our tablescape to look. Overall Sarah is a gem and I'll miss planning my wedding with her! -

Best wedding planner a DJ could work with
As a professional DJ in the wedding industry, we’ve had the distinct honor of working side by side with the Sleeping Bee Designs (SBD) team, especially Sarah. They are by far one of our favorites, and we can’t recommend them enough.
Sarah’s planning is meticulous, and the execution on the day of the event is impeccable. It truly makes our job as DJs so seamless and simple. For once, we truly get to focus on just being a DJ/MC instead of wearing the hat of a planner as well.
Her timelines are detailed and perfect, ensuring that each vendor has their own special timeline tailored to their needs. Sarah truly cares about her clients, always adding in something special for each one, whether it’s a surprise or just going the extra mile when she doesn’t have to. If something is out of her wheelhouse, she takes the time to learn whatever it is, and if it’s something she doesn’t have or hasn’t worked with before, she goes out of her way ensuring the client gets exactly what they need, plus more.

We Recommend Sleeping Bee Designs
We were planning our wedding on a short time frame, maybe two months all together, and we had been debating on adding a wedding coordinator to the roster. We were introduced to Sarah with Sleeping Bee Designs and couldn't imagine having planned all the minute details without her. She had plenty of resources and information for us, and asked questions we hadn't even considered but in hindsight were essential in having the day run smoothly. Sarah gave us plenty of homework but was professional and on the ball; we truly felt she wanted us to have the perfect day. Her prior relationships and connections with vendors in the area also made us feel we had the best team with us. Highly recommended. -

Working with Sleeping Bee Designs was a dream! From the moment we booked with SBD, we knew we made the right decision. Sarah did not hesitate to answer our questions and offer advice for many aspects of our planning process! The materials Sarah provided to us to fill out the event details helped us stay organized and have a clear understanding of what needed to be planned. Sarah & the SBD team were absolutely amazing! They all went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Truly Amazing!
Working with Sarah was a dream come true. Right from the beginning I knew I had made the right decision. I knew I was going to need help throughout the planning process and Sarah immediately reassured me that she would be right there with me throughout. Sarah provided us with an amazing welcome package as well as a planning checklist, and budget sheet to keep us on track. She was always available with suggestions for vendors we still needed and to read over all the contracts. Sarah met with us every month and kept us so on track that planning was a breeze. As we got closer, Sarah made sure we had everything we needed and that all the vendors were on the same page. On our wedding day Sarah coordinated with the help of two of her SBD teammates and everything went smoothly. I honestly can’t recommend Sarah and her team enough. They truly are spectacular!-

Sarah and the SBD team were absolutely wonderful. Professional, organized, on top of every detail. My husband is a program manager and very detail oriented. No pressure for the SBD team. We didn't have to lift a finger. Every detail was accounted for, even ones I hadn't considered. I HIGHLY recommend the SBD team for your event. -

Excellent, flexible, and FUN!
Sarah and her team were amazing, I don't know how we would have gotten married without her. We planned our Indian fusion wedding at the Howard County Conservancy with Sarah's help, and she was the perfect addition to our vendor team. We were planning our wedding from outside of the state,and I am not a type A, super organized person, so wedding planning was a struggle for me. Sarah always had thorough check-ins with us and told us what we should be focusing on when. She handled our shuttle bus completely and got the schedule down perfectly for our after party and two hotel blocks. She knew the venue inside and out and all the rules that come with having a wedding at a nature center. Admittedly, there were some complicated cultural differences that came with our wedding, and Sarah navigated them with ease and was sensitive to any differences. On our wedding day, we just got to relax and enjoy the day. If there were any problems, I honestly didn't know they happened. We got the wedding day we dreamed of! I would highly recommend Sarah and her team! -

Absolutely Wonderful
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarah and her team. From day 1 to the wedding itself, Sarah has been attentive, on top of every detail and so patient and kind. Very responsive to emails, and so helpful to solve any question or concern I had. I had absolutely no stress with planning or timeline the few days before the wedding because Sarah had all the details worked out before I could even think of them. She will absolutely help to make your wedding go off without a hitch and is an absolute dream to work with. Would highly recommend her over and over again. -

I'd Hire Them Again in a Second
Sarah & her Sleeping Bee Designs crew were everything I could have ever asked for. I'm a very DIY person, so I thought "hmm, maybe I don't need a coordinator." Spoiler- yes you do, everyone does, don't do it yourself. I promise it's worth every penny.
We first met Sarah at a wedding expo in Downtown Frederick, and immediately loved her personality. We emailed several months later, and were so relieved she was available on our date. The second you book her, she'll give you things to start thinking about. Like, things that never even crossed your mind, but duh!
Organized doesn't even begin to explain SBD. Our wedding timeline was planned perfectly, down to the minute. Sarah was on top of rallying the other vendors, and even joined me for a couple calls with them, leading up to the wedding. All our vendors said the similar things- "Wow, she's on top of it." Or "Holy bananas, she's the most organized coordinator I've ever worked with."
The day of the wedding, we felt so taken care of. You need a drink? Don't worry- Sarah or Christine already know, and it's probably on the way. We blinked and the decorations were all packed up and in our car. Vendor tips? Handed out. Card box? Very, very secure. Something not matching up with a different vendor contract you signed? Not on SBD's watch. As we were leaving the venue the night of our wedding, Sarah gave us the best piece of advice: "Eat your wedding cake for breakfast, open all your cards in the morning, and just take it all in." We did exactly that, and it's one of my favorite wedding moments.
I don't think our wedding would have been half as successful as it was, if we hadn't hired Sleeping Bee Designs. It's been 8 months since we've been married and Sarah is still helping us with things- can you say newspaper feature? Looking back at our whole experience, I'd honestly pay double what we did. 💕 -

Sarah made our day happen!
We were so grateful to have Sarah at Sleeping Bee helping us coordinate our day. Her expertise was invaluable - we were a DIY couple, and were so grateful to the checklist of details that Sarah provided us to make sure our day went smoothly! And Sarah had lots of experience with all our vendors, which meant that she and our other vendors all had answers to questions we didn't even know to ask.
In the early planning with our venue, we also had a small snafu with the scheduling for our rehearsal dinner, and Sarah went above and beyond to help us coordinate a great solution with the venue even before she was officially "on the clock" with us.
Sarah made sure on our wedding day that we were able to relax and enjoy the day since the details and logistics of the day were all organized and in great hands. -

A stress free way to have an excellent wedding
Sarah was a total life saver as the coordinator for my wedding! She is organized, communicative, thoughtful, and obviously very experienced in what needs to happen the month of the wedding. When I was overwhelmed taking care of last-minute needs, she was talking to vendors, setting up detailed schedules, making sure everything went smoothly. I didn’t have to make any decisions day of, she took care of everything for me. She even set up all the decorations and made everything beautiful with just my materials and a picture of my vision. It took so much stress off me so I could enjoy this beautiful day I was anticipating for months and worked so hard for. Could not recommend her enough! -

Absolutely amazing.
Working with Sarah and her team at Sleeping Bee Designs was the best decision we could have made for our big day. We hired SBD to be our month and day-of coordinator, though Sarah was available via email/phone prior to that time. She made it a point to touch base with us often en, frequently giving reminders if we needed to talk to this person, or hire that person, which was SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL. Both my husband and I have full-time jobs, but we didn't have the budget to hire a full-time wedding planner, so this was a great option. We also knew we weren't the most versed in "wedding speak", and were unfamiliar with many things that happen throughout a typical wedding day. We knew we wanted to represent both American and Eastern European wedding traditions during our day. Sarah would make suggestions, and we would take them into consideration and change things if wanted. It was great to have someone so knowledgeable yet so willing to accommodate new things.
Sarah was very patient with us and our vendors, and did a great job following up with and and with them. She created the schedule, executed it, and was flexible the day of. For example, we asked if we could do the cake cutting outside on our venue's patio instead of inside, and her team made it happen in twenty minutes. It was amazing.
SBD will go above and beyond to make sure your day goes smoothly and will help navigate the inevitable bumps that happen. Sarah's professionalism if top notch, and I highly recommend this vendor to everyone.-

Best Investment Ever!!!
We booked Sarah as our Month-of Coordinator and it was probably the smartest decision I've ever made! Not only did Sarah smoothly execute my vision for the reception and ceremony decor, but she really made sure the day ran smoothly and I trusted her completely. She was prepared and on hand for anything we needed... including sewing me into my reception dress when the zipper broke beyond repair.

Excellent Coordination & Planning!
We would HIGHLY recommend hiring Sarah Rosier to help plan your wedding. We hired Sarah as a day-of coordinator for our recent wedding at Turf Valley Resort, and it was one of the best decisions that we made for many reasons.
While we already consider ourselves “planners” (we worked on our wedding 10 months in advance with organized milestones, trackers, etc. in spreadsheets), we still benefited TREMENDOUSLY from all of the work that Sarah did leading up to the wedding and so much more on the actual wedding day.
She helped us with creating an organized timeline, coordinating with all of our vendors, leading venue setup and takedown, and keeping us on schedule throughout the day. She also provided so much ad-hoc support when unexpected things happened (we lost a groomsman due to COVID and had to change the procession, we needed to fix some boutonnieres at the last minute, etc.).
Sarah also helped us navigate tricky topics like what to tell our vendors and when (headcount, booster seats, tip envelopes, etc); she helped us manage carpools and transportation of personal items (centerpieces, flowers, etc.); and so much more. There was such a reduction in stress from having Sarah present to handle all of the various things that can and WILL happen on your wedding day. Sarah clearly has a lot of experience in this field and is ready for any outcome.
We couldn’t be more happy to have worked with Sarah, and we’d highly recommend her services to anyone about to host a wedding. -

Organized + Well Communicated Planner
We had the opportunity to work with Sarah from Sleeping Bee Designs on a wedding this weekend. After working with her, we have nothing but amazing things to say. From the start, Sarah was very communicative and leading up to our rental delivery, she made sure everything was communicated to all of the vendors in an extremely organized manner. Sarah will make sure your wedding runs smoothly between all of your vendors and any other moving parts. We would highly recommend Sarah if you are looking for a wonderful planner. -

Poor customer service! Guests complained about sarah’s attitude!
Overall just unprepared and rude.
Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience with Sarah in planning our wedding. Throughout the year leading up to our big day, Sarah seemed very organized, sent checklists, reminder emails etc. on top of our monthly meetings. However, things started to go downhill at our walkthrough 5 weeks before our wedding.
Firstly, she FAILED TO INFORM US that we needed to acquire event insurance and a liquor license. My MIL didn't know she needed her own liquor license to transport and give the alcohol to the caterer. Instead, we were informed by the coordinator at the venue. These were both time sensitive tasks that would’ve been detrimental to our day. When they were brought up by our venue coordinator, Sarah didn’t apologize for not informing us, she simply brushed past the information and moved on.
During our walkthrough, I mentioned wanting to have a photo wall by the bar, but Sarah was insistent that my idea would not work. She failed to offer a suitable alternative and left me feeling belittled and unheard. What’s ironic and frustrating is that my MIL introduced the idea AGAIN the week of the wedding, and Sarah said her idea was terrific.
Two days before our wedding, Sarah informed us that the back up ceremony space (in case of rain) would not be able to accommodate all our guests seated, and that some would have to stand. This was something that should’ve been relayed to us WEEKS before. We often talked about a rain plan, and never ONCE did she mention that there would not be enough space for all guests to be seated.
Our rehearsal the day before was inadequate and my wedding party was left CONFUSED AND FRUSTRATED with where to go and what to do the day of. She did provide a timeline, but it was honestly full of nothing. Even one of the vendors asked why my groomsmen were ready so early…
She also bombarded my husband with questions about the seating arrangement the day of, when that should have been figured out and finalized beforehand, not when he was in his suit. Also, she FORGOT SIGNS for reserved seats during the ceremony, even though she told us she would bring them. So guests were seated where our family was supposed to be.
Unfortunately, after our wedding, we have received multiple COMPLAINTS FROM GUESTS about Sarah’s attitude and demeanor. We were told that she rolled her eyes at guests and was very abrasive and quite rude. During our reception, one of our guests asked a server if they could provide water for the elderly. When told no, that guest went up to Sarah and expressed their concern that the elderly were not being properly accommodated. Sarah’s response was to rudely say that she was not in charge of the caterer and there was nothing she could do. All we wanted was for her to grab someone from the catering team to get water for the elderly. Instead, when asked why she did not accommodate, she said that if we were not happy with her services, she would just pack up and leave.
I hate to leave a bad review, but honestly Sarah’s attitude has sadly cast a dreary shadow over our wedding day. We’re still receiving comments and complaints from our guests.
I would not recommend Sleeping Bee Designs for your wedding or event planning. -
