    Fairytale Wedding

Our wedding at the manor was truly a dream fairytale come to life. From the moment we arrived, every detail was absolutely beautiful and exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. They made us feel so welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire celebration!

    The Wedding of Our Dreams

I cannot say enough incredible things about Skylands Manor, we truly had the wedding of our dreams there on June 6, 2025. To start, the staff. Every single person that we came across over the course of our planning and day of experience was PHENOMENAL. Nancy, who first held our tour, was so helpful and so welcoming that we instantly felt we would be well taken care of. Linda was our Maitre'd and we could not have asked for a better person to take care of all our needs. She responded to all of our requests so quickly, was immensely helpful and accommodating, and truly made the entire process of planning this wedding a breeze. Also have to shout out Laura, who was the server for me and my husband, because she was an absolute gem the entirety of our night.

Secondly, I would be remiss if I didn't shout out the food - which was INSANE. We knew following our tasting that the food would be good but wow were we blown away. Never have I ever had a wedding steak I liked, but Frungillo's catering blew it out of the park. Our cocktail hour was a dream, the salad starter at reception was so light and refreshing, and all of our guests are still raving about just how fantastic the food was. We were told by multiple guests that the salmon melted in their mouths like butter and the cocktail hour mashed potato bar was a major hit. We also opted for the late night hot dog cart and those dogs were NYC quality (as Brooklynites, that was a huge deal for us).

The cocktails were also incredible - my husband is a very talented mixologist as a hobby and all of our friends and family expect any of our events to have good cocktails, and wow did Skylands deliver. We opted for a Hugo Spritz as our signature cocktail and we were hounded by praise from our guests about how good it was.

It goes without saying that the venue is gorgeous, but it's the hospitality and incredible attention to detail of the staff at Skylands that truly make the venue unlike any other in New Jersey. Our guests are all still raving about how phenomenal our wedding was and it's truly all thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team at Skylands.

    Amazing day!

This was one of the first places we visited and fell in love with it! The grounds were beautiful and so was the castle itself. Each room was so unique, our guests told us how fun it was to explore the building. Food was spectacular and everything was delicious. I’m so glad we chose to have our wedding here!

    Great Experience

We had our wedding at Skylands Manor and it was an incredible experience. Linda was our coordinator and she took care of everything the entire day. From the first venue tour, to planning every detail, to the actual day of the wedding, I could not have asked for anything more from Linda and the Skylands Manor staff. The food was amazing and we received many compliments from our guests about the gorgeous grounds. Service was great. I highly recommend this venue to anyone! Best experience.

    Fairytale wedding

First off, on behalf of me and husband, I would like to thank Matthew and his entire staff for the incredible job they did from start to finish for my wedding. From the day of booking to the very last song, it was the greatest day of my life! My entire life I dreamed of a Cinderella wedding. Skylands manor was that for me. We had our ceremony at magnolia lane , which was absolute unreal. The incredible grounds/gardens at skylands are unmatched. Followed that was cocktail hour , and the station/passed food presentations were so cool and new , and our guests were raving about how good it all was. ( the big hit was the fresh mozzarella station, and grilled cheese tomato soup station) We then danced the night away as we had dinner and the staff couldn’t have been more professional. Even the little things , whether it was re-folding napkins , filling waters up , etc. Matthew and his whole staff showed the utmost professionalism and did not make me worry for even a second the entire day.

    Above and beyond!

We want to thank Linda and her exceptional team for their outstanding coordination and support on our wedding day! Their presence was pivotal – without their expertise and calm guidance, our special day wouldn't have been the seamless celebration it was. Linda's organizational skills, dedication, and passion for what she does ensured that every aspect of our wedding unfolded perfectly. There were even some details that I forgot to mention, and she was able to set things up better than I had imagined. We also had two different tea ceremonies with back-to-back schedules until 10 PM! Linda and the team took care of everything, including me and my husband, allowing us to enjoy our day and lean on them without a single worry. We deeply appreciate their everything they did for us and cannot recommend them highly enough to any couple seeking a worry-free, beautifully managed wedding experience.

    Outstanding Venue, Food, & Staff

My husband and I got married on 11/04 at Skylands Manor and we are still in awe of how incredible everything was! From the staff, to the food, to the timeline...everything was just perfection and exactly how we imagined our wedding day.

Skylands Manor is truly a hidden gem! It is a big beautiful castle that you have all to yourself with a quaint and homey feeling. It's right in the botanical gardens making it perfect for absolutely stunning photos and a peaceful and romantic place to have your ceremony. We were so lucky to have a nice fall evening outside in Magnolia Lane.

Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour stations in the four different rooms. They also really loved our signature drinks and we received MANY compliments on how great the entrees and the cake were. Food was very important to us!

My husband and I did not have to worry about a single thing throughout the day either. Our Maitre D, Linda was absolutely incredible from start to finish. As a control freak myself, I can confidently say that Linda and her staff can be trusted to make your day exactly how you want it. Leading up to our wedding, whenever I had questions she never hesitated to call me or text me. She's very detail oriented, attentive, and professional at all times. She even gave us some extra special things we wanted to have at our wedding and really made sure everything and everyone was taken care of. Linda also prepared plates of food for my husband and I so we could taste all the cocktail hour food before heading out to our guests. She really thinks of everything! Thank you Skylands Manor for the most unforgettable wedding day.

    Gorgeous Castle!

Skylands manor is a gem, a castle set in a botanical garden, right in NJ. Our son was married in November. The ceremony was outside on a sunny patio overlooking the mountains, with hot apple cider for guests, and blankets for favors. The cocktail hour and reception were inside. The castle itself has rooms that were brought over from European castles, so it has authentic 500-year-old stained glass windows and intricate wood carvings. The cocktail hour was spread across several rooms, guests were encouraged to wander and mingle. The granite was mined in NJ, right on this property, and makes up a beautiful outside of the castle, two stone rooms inside, and a stone circular staircase - all make for stunning wedding photos! There is a bridal suite where the bride/bridesmaids get ready, and a library where the groom/groomsmen get ready. Both are architecturally stunning with intricate wood carvings throughout the rooms. The large white marble fireplace made for great family group photos. The food was excellent, and we had a completely gluten-free wedding - 4 fully stocked rooms with a taco station (mahi-mahi, beef & more), Tuscan spread (mozzarella, salads, crudites), seafood (oysters, mussels, shrimp), and carving station (skirt steak, ham). Also, waiters serving additional items. During warmer months, the ceremony can take place outside at the koi pond (a large rectangular pond with live fish), the magnolia garden (with flowering trees alongside) or indoors in a large room with 2-story-high huge stained glass windows. This is the NJ botanical garden, so the gardens are spectacular, with granite statues, fountains, and walls. An extra plus, the castle has 22 guest rooms, so our wedding party and family stayed overnight. There is a handicap room just off the grand ballroom, which was perfect for grandparents. The rooms are beautifully decorated with historic decor and carved wood. There is a large "rec room" with couches, tables, and foosball - it made for a nice "after-party". Also, a curator brought us on a tour and had us find 4 hidden safes in the castle. The next morning we had breakfast downstairs with an elegant spread of fresh muffins, bagels, and more. Everyone enjoyed the wedding, it is a stunning elegant castle with great food & service.

    Skyland Manor Wedding

I could not have asked for a better wedding for my daughter at the Skyland Manor. The caterer and staff were impeccable. Linda Pergola, event manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned and more. She put in 150% effort into our event.

    One of a kind venue

Our experience with Skylands Manor has been exceptional from day 1. As a covid bride, my husband and I had to make a ton of last minute changes and Linda was right there to help us every step of the way. While we have not had our reception at the venue yet, Linda still gave us the opportunity to take pictures at the castle on our original wedding date after our ceremony. We’re looking forward to having our reception here next year, and if you’re thinking about booking this venue don’t even think twice, it is more than worth it. The service and flexibility from staff is phenomenal and the venue is so unique and one of a kind in the northern NJ area.

    Fairytale Wedding

Elegance and sophistication, ambiance and old world charm, phenomenal food AND top notch service...what a wedding to remember! Straight out of a fairytale. A girl could not ask for more on her wedding day. My day was PERFECT. I have very high standards, and I am extremely picky. Yes. I am. You spend good money and you should command nothing less than excellence. The Castle at Skylands Manor provided all this and so much more. From the excellent service provided to me by Linda all throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and then the day of the wedding...what an incredible staff she manages and impeccable service from the team including Amy, Michelle, Peter and Rich. The Castle at Skylands Manor is a beautiful location, and gorgeous grounds. As for the Inn at the Castle- it is a page right out out of the Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Super cool to stay overnight and explore. So much history and splendor of the gilded age. I highly recommend The Castle at Skylands Manor. Book immediately. I will leave you with this- the function was magnificent and for days to follow the compliments were pouring in. THANK YOU LINDA for making our day PERFECT ❤️ You truly are WONDERFUL and I couldn’t have done the function without you!!!!!

A fantastic experience at a great venue

We had our wedding reception at the Castle at Skylands Manor in Ringwood. We worked with Linda Pergola at Frungillo throughout the process and she was amazing. You absolutely cannot get a better value than what Frungillo offers. There was so much food for such a reasonable price that selecting them was a no brainer. The food was great, and the staff was lovely and accommodating. The Castle is quite pretty and a unique venue for the reception. Having the cocktail hour in the house was very neat, before we moved over to the ballroom where our guests packed the dance floor all night. We had about 200 people, so finding a unique space that can accommodate that many was a little challenging, so we were delighted with Skylands. At the end of the night, as we were wrapping up the after party at about 1 a.m., we were surprised to see Linda herself helping clean up! It had been an incredibly long day for her, but that’s what you get when you use Frungillo - personal and attentive service from a committed team. Thank you Linda and team!

    Fantastic event

I recently organized a black tie fundraiser event with Frungillo at Skylands Manor. Everything from booking the hall, to organizing the specifics of the evening, to the actual event was absolutely excellent. The venue was surreal, with several last century rooms that boasted the cocktail hour and a modern and tastefully designed hall that hosted the formal dinner and dancing. The food at the cocktail hour was perfect (and served very effectively ie no waiting around for hors'douvre service), and the bartenders efficiently served top shelf liquor drinks. Linda, who was my point of contact in the event organization, was also the Maitre'D. She and her team executed flawlessly. The service was very quick and efficient and the food was spectacular. Linda and her team were also extremely helpful in arranging all the ancillary stuff like valet parking and general decorations.
I would highly recommend the venue and the Frungillo team for any event here - whether a fundraiser, wedding or anything else. I certainly hope one of my kids decides to hold their wedding at this magnificent manor house.

The service provided at the Skylands Manor is always above standard. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They guide you through your event every step of the way and always make you feel like family.
I've had my <3 fairy tale <3 wedding there, a 50th birthday party, a PTA brunch, and a bridal shower. Each and every single time, Linda was an invaluable asset. I have not one single complaint about the venue. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are kept meticulously, the food is superb, and the wait staff on point. All of this and many more reasons keep me coming back, event after event.
You will not regret booking here. I recommend them highly. Plus the pictures are always STUNNING, as there is a fabulous photo op at EVERY turn!

I had my wedding here a couple weeks ago and i could not have asked for a better experience. Right from the start when I was shown around I knew it was going to be perfect. Linda answered every question we had... and boy did I have a lot! She was so good about getting back to us and made the planning process so easy. The day of the wedding she was amazing constantly checking in to see if we need anything. She went above and beyond to make our day special. The food, anything and everything you could think of, each room was filled different stations and it all tasted fabulous. One thing too that all the guest commented on was how happy the staff was they always had a smile on there face and really seemed like a family. My day was perfect and it wouldn't have been like this if it wasn't for Linda and Frungillos.

Skylands Manor was a pleasure. Their staff is professional, kind and flexible. The set up process was smooth and easy - with everything going on when planning a wedding, I appreciated low-maintenance vendors who took charge in their areas of expertise. They listened to what me, my family and fiancee envisioned and made it happen. On the night, they were right there when we needed them and took care of every request. When we booked our venue, we knew we wanted the place to be beautiful, yet unique and romantic. The Castle at Skylands Manor was the perfect wedding venue for our September wedding. It was truly a fairy tale! Not only was it a gorgeous day, the grounds and the mansion were absolutely stunning. We stayed overnight at the mansion with some of our closest family and it made the weekend that much better.

Frungillo Catering is phenomenal. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, the food was great and our guests can't stop talking about how amazing our wedding was. Linda was so great with everything, she truly knows her stuff and we could have not asked for anyone better to have with us on the day of our wedding. Her and her staff made us, our family and guests feel so special and welcomed and it truly made the difference. A special thanks to Linda, Roxanne, Nadya, Lisa and Carla for making our wedding day a dream come true!!

My fiance and I chose Skyland Manor as the venue for our wedding because of its unique location and appearance. From the first day we saw it, we fell in love with it and knew it was the perfect location. Leading up to the wedding Linda was always very helpful and responsive to our questions and making sure we were ready for our big day. The day of our wedding was nothing short of a dream. An elegant affair that our guests will never forget. It was simply magical. The castle allure gave a royalty feel to us and our guests. Everyone raved about all the food at the cocktail hour and although we didnt make it to it busy taking pictures, the bridal attendant made sure to bring us food and drinks while we were taking our photos. Our wedding day was amazing and we are so glad we chose Skyland Manor as our Venue.

My husband and I knew from the moment we got engaged that we wanted to use Frungillos at Skylands Manor. We grew up in town so to us, it was perfect. Most weddings are done at halls with the same type of expectation. From the beginning we knew we wanted to make things different and memorable. Linda and her entire staff were incredible. They prepped us, got all the work done in a timely manner, explained every detail and helped us create the beautiful wedding we had in our minds. I couldn’t have asked for a better catering company, venue and support staff to help us through what can be such a stressful day. Thanks to them, everything was PERFECT!!!

We recently had our wedding at Skylands Manor and worked with Linda and Frungillo Caterers. Linda is awesome to work with because she has everything under control, is super organized and flexible. It ended up raining on our special day so Linda made the inside space very romantic and intimate. Besides that, the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and there was a good amount of food and spirits offered to our guests. We really had the best time at our wedding and loved all the small details that made this the perfect venue. I highly recommend Skylands Manor if you are looking to have a unique wedding space that oozes romance.

Every little girl dreams about her wedding day – the prince, the church, the castle, the first dance, the father/daughter dance, the guests dancing … the whole grand affair! Typically, weddings don’t turn out exactly as the little girl imagined. But mine did – on June 17, 2017! My prince is exceptionally charming, handsome and wonderful; St. Lucy Chapel is the perfect church to exchange I dos; and The Castle at Skylands Manor is the absolute dream venue for the grand affair!

Linda Pergola was an absolute delight to work with. Leading up to the event, she was most helpful and responsive. On the day of the event, not only was she the perfect coordinator, but her mom instincts also shone through, as she made sure my parents, the parents of the groom, my husband and I were well-cared for the entire night.

To this day, our guests continue to talk about the food. From the raw bar and the pasta station to the mozzarella station and the bacon bar, and everything else in between and after, it was all spectacular and never seemed to end! (Definitely get the bacon bar!) When the cocktail hour was over, guests couldn’t believe there was a full-course meal to follow. And then, I wish you could have seen the amazement on their eyes when the mini sliders, hot dogs, ice cream shakes and ice cream bar came out later in the night! I should also mention that we had many guests fly up from Texas. As such, we had a few small requests, like asking for Shiner Bock as our premium beer. And so it was. All of our requests were met with delight.

I also chose to invite my bridal party and immediate family to stay at the Castle overnight. I highly recommend it!

Finally, I cannot believe how beautiful the updated ballroom is! When my parents signed the contract in June 2016, we knew there were updates, but we had no idea just how beautiful they would be!

Thank you to Linda, Nadya and Lisa who helped make a little girl's dream come true!

We highly recommend Frungillo Caterers at the Castle at Skylands Manor. They are extremely accommodating throughout the planning and on your wedding day. The food and service were top notch...my guests continue to rave about the day! Not to mention the gorgeous setting of the castle and the beautiful NJ Botanical Gardens. We split the wedding day in two phases, half of the day we celebrated throughout the castle with appetizers and food stations and completed the evening in the newly designed ballroom for dessert and dancing.

The venue was fantastic when we visited a year ago and looked EVEN BETTER after the renovations. Linda was the BEST banquet manager at the Skylands Manor! She handled everything to the T and always kept things in order. She was lovely to work with and for sure has everything in check. I thought I would have to be worrying about the little things that are sometimes looked over BUT Linda completely covered them. I was able to dance and enjoy my wonderful wedding night stress-free.

I got married in April, and let me tell you, it was not to hot, and not to cold, to have this perfect setting wedding at "The Castle" at Skylands Manor. The entire staff was very cooperative, and willing to do anything to make my day special.
Linda Pergola, was such a big impact into planning my wedding. She was so hospitable, and considerate to our fine - detailed wedding. Especially, considering my newly wed husband's strong Indian culture. During cocktail hour, the staff was extremely good at keeping the rooms clean. They were so many different rooms used for cocktail hour, each of them were so well detailed and decorated.

Let me begin by saying how breath taking the venue is. They did such a wonderful job on the newly renovated ballroom. They really made my vision come true, just the way I dreamed of it when I was little girl. The staff catered to our every need. White glove service, made it top notch. Cocktail hour food, was amazing. Very choreographed by the way the staff brought out the food. From dinner to dessert.

I got married in late March of this year. The staff was phenomenal, they were very much on top of their game, when it came to serving our guests. Everyone was respectful, professional and always have a smile on their face. The maitre de, Linda was absolutely amazing . The menu was perfectly selected at our finale meeting with Linda. To top it off, the venue itself was gorgeous. Thank you Frungillo Staff.

My daughter's event at the Skylands Manor was a night that we will always cherish. Our friends and family still talk about it whenever we get together. I was impressed and grateful for the extent the staff was willing to go to make this night magical. Each and every member of the staff went the extra mile from set up to the end of the evening to make sure our guests were comfortable, satisfied, and well-cared for. Linda, the catering director, is a ceaseless bundle of energy and worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was perfect, from the decor to the food to the service. Linda was personally invested in making sure that everything was perfect and no detail was overlooked. She gave us excellent ideas from the outset of the planning and even helped us to execute our vision, including lining the driveway with lanterns so that as our guest arrived they were greeted with a lighted path that looked amazing in photographs. The food was to die for. It was abundant, beautifully presented and scrumptious. Truly gourmet. Many of our guests remarked to us afterwards about the quality and quantity of the cuisine and certainly no one walked away hungry! The castle itself is a fairy tale venue. Driving up to the mansion in the evening is impressive as it is all lit up. The rooms inside of the mansion transport you to another era, and our guests enjoyed walking through the property to admire the details of this historical building. Overall, I would whole-heartedly recommend The Skylands Manor to anyone looking to host a most memorable wedding.

Skylands Manor "The hidden jem in the woods". I recently just had my wedding there in April, the staff and hospitality was amazing. They recently got their ballroom redone, which in itself looks fantastic! I was so happy to have my wedding in the newly renovated ballroom.
Linda was amazing, from beginning to end. I was overjoyed to have our guests stay in the bed and breakfast. Lisa assist with the reservations, and assured that our rooms were blocked off and will be ready to go for our guests to check in. I wish I can do this all over again. Maybe my twentieth anniversary, will renew our vows. Thank you Frungillo and Linda for making my day come true.

Words can't describe how beautiful this venue is, and to add on how lucky I was to celebrate with my close friends and family in March for my wedding. Frungillo Caterers really know how to make such a beautiful display for cocktail hour and really have a good sense into selecting the main entree for the reception. The best part, was working with Linda Pergola, from the day we booked our wedding to her being the maitre' de, lead coordinator. Her staff was super accommodating through out the day of getting ready. It was an honor and such great experience to have my special day at the Castle.

The castle at Skylands Manor was the perfect setting for our daughter’s wedding. It was a royal event, one that the bride and groom will always remember. Both have told my wife and I that if they had everything to do over again, the wedding would be exactly the same. Linda Pergola and her Skylands Manor staff were the best of the best in making sure that every detail was covered. The ceremony outside in the botanical gardens was incredible, as if out of a movie. When the ceremony was completed, we moved to the reception area of the castle, where we were provided with an exceptional variety of foods. Each buffet station competed with the other for what our guests told us was “absolutely amazing,” in terms of taste, portions and quality. At the formal dinner, the service was totally accommodating. Once again, the menu choices, from filet mignon, salmon, chicken, and a vegetarian option, were excellent. An added benefit was that we had the castle for the entire weekend, which also included an excellent buffet breakfast. In summary this was a dream wedding.

My deepest gratitude to the owners, our wedding could not have been improved on and we will cherish it always. From our previous events at The Villa we knew the level of service and care that they provide is always a cut above most others, but even we were impressed by what they did for our wedding. The cocktail and buffet spread was beyond our expectations with four separate and unique stations. The main course was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. All of this framed by the historic Skylands architecture created the most perfect wedding event imaginable. Every guest I spoke with was highly impressed and most stated that this was, by far the best wedding they had ever attended.

We were looking for a beautiful setting in the botanical gardens of New Jersey and we found it!! The castle was amazing with all of the amenities we had hoped for! Linda and her staff were excellent from the moment we took a tour. They made our day so very special and everything went as planned. There was plenty of food and drinks (plenty of variety) to go around. Everyone was thrilled at the experience of the castle, amazing view, after party with great wait staff, and lots of wonderful memories!! Linda and her staff are amazing. Coming from a groom that planned most of the wedding, Linda was more then I could have hoped for. We basically planned an amazing New Years eve wedding in 8 months. We basically went in around May looking to have our wedding ASAP and Sat. Dec. 31st was available. After some thought and seeing other places we decided to just go with it, and make it a New Years Eve Extravaganza.

We added an extra hour to the reception so that it ended at 1am. And we had an after party in the Library until 2am. Did I mention we rented all the rooms out? It was amazing.

The whole night was just surreal, and It would only be possible with Linda and her staff. Our families thought we were crazy for going from engaged to married in less then a year Now everyone is telling me I should be a professional wedding planner. Thanks to Linda.

The Castle at the Skylands Manor is hands down the most amazing and beautiful venue in NJ. The food was amazing, which is not so for many venues. Cocktail hour is in all of the castle's main rooms, so guests can wander. The outside patio is gorgeus for guests to sit out on as well. The location is unreal, and the castle itself is UNBELIEVABLE. Linda the Catering Director is fantastic, and they set up/take everything down leaving you with nothing to do but only bring the candles/table seating/etc. to them before the wedding day. Our bridal party and family stayed overnight on the night of the castle (me and my husband were in the beautiful Queen Antoinette's suite) and you can stay there during the week too (we had a Friday night wedding so our family stayed there Thurs. night too)! You can view all of the rooms online and your guests book rooms there online too (it is very private, only 23 rooms in the castle so you'll need a hotel for your other guests - I would recommend the Residence Inn at Saddle River - 30min drive from the castle it is GORGEUS and affordable suites!)

The Castle at Skylands Manor gave me my dream wedding. I got married in the gardens and then had my cocktail hour and reception inside the castle. It was truly a fairytale wedding. The food was amazing, the service was impeccible and it was well worth the cost. I called all the time asking questions and i always recieved a call back right away or an answer right then. They really helped to put me at ease the week of the wedding right through to the last hour at the reception. Beautiful venue! If you want to be a princess then this is your place!

I just got married there on June 8th and everything was beyond perfect! Linda was amazing at helping to coordinate and manage everything the day of, as well as doing all the planning ahead of time. The manor and the grounds are beautiful and all of my guests kept raving about how gorgeous everything was. The food was absolutely delicious and my only regret was that I was too full to try everything during cocktail hour! The guest rooms were beautiful as well and I would definitely recommend staying in the Queen Antoinette suite or the King suite!

During our overnight stay at the beautiful Skylands Manor, my husband and I experienced a uniquely superior level of service provided by Innkeeper, David Cipolla. We are still talking about it.

From the moment we arrived, David’s pleasant demeanor and easy conversations made us feel right at home. It was so refreshing to be treated more like friends than patrons.

Upon entering our room we were greeted with a warm fireplace that had been prepared for our comfort, making the overall ambiance was very welcoming and cozy.

Later in the evening, we had a wonderful time getting to know the rich history of the manor as David took time to tour us through the beautifully decorated rooms. His kind and courteous nature left us feeling like VIPs. The entire experience set the perfect tone to begin the holiday season and we’ll never forget it.

We have already referred several of our friends to Skylands Manor and look forward to returning in the future.

We knew we wanted a fall wedding with a gorgeous outdoor area for a ceremony and intimate cocktail/reception area and Skylands definitely delivered. We we first met with Linda in August of 2009, we immediately liked her as she seemed to get what we wanted and really made us feel comfortable.

In the months before the wedding we occasionally had questions which were always answered, although sometimes it took 2 to 3 days or a follow up call for a response.

Within the two weeks before the wedding Linda, Brennan, and the rest of the staff seemed to always be available to answer questions or assuage concerns.

The weekend of the actual wedding they were absolutely incredible! We didn't have to think about anything. They seriously took care of everything and couldn't have been more attentive. From the moment my parents dropped off decorations, programs, place cards, etc. to the moment I arrived to start getting ready, they were with us all the way. Linda ran the show seamlessly. She even did a great job trying to help me keep calm and maintain a sense of humor when our minister was nowhere to be found 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, and then 30 minutes after our ceremony was supposed to have started. Once things were able to move forward everything proceed at a fantastic pace. Can't say enough wonderful things about her and also our bridal attendant who was always available, but never in the way.

Also, we received a ton on compliments on the food, especially the grilling and crepe stations during the cocktail hour. Can't thank the staff at Skylands enough for helping make our day special.

    Hidden gem!

I don't understand how this venue is not more widely used! It's truly stunning, with architecture and details that you almost never see anymore, and 22 bedrooms to sleep your family. You also get the manor for the whole day which allowed us to enjoy every moment, not have to travel between places, and not feel that the day zipped by.

We got married by the Koi pond in August 2025, which was beautiful and very well coordinated by Linda. Linda and her staff were extremely well organized and I did not have to lift a finger the whole day. They handled all of my requests, even ones that were probably outside of their job description, with professionalism and efficiency. If something went wrong, we had no idea as it was handled by them. We were able to be fully present in the day because of them. They even helped accommodate early check in for family traveling. We did not hire a planner or coordinator and Linda and her team filled this role perfectly.

The food is something that is still talked about today by our guests. Many of our guests and ourselves are big foodies and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for a wedding venue, which tasted more like restaurant quality. The package itself comes with such a great amount of food down to every detail (welcome champagne, lemonade, signature drinks) and without any upgrades to the package, our guests told us that there were so many food options and they were so full. The base package is perfect and they really do not skimp on you. The cocktail hour on the first floor of the castle was so unique and raved about by most of our guests, and was one of our favorite parts of the night.

There are ENDLESS picturesque places for your photos, and the grounds and castle are like a playground for your photographer. You will be overjoyed when you see what can be done here in terms of photos.

Service wise, we felt everything went smoothly, organized, and efficiently. We did hear from friends that the innkeeper was a bit short when requests were made, but we found him to be very kind and he got the job done.

As a side note, some reviews mentioned no air conditioning - this was not an issue for us. There were AC units in each of the rooms and they were cool and comfortable. The cocktail hour, reception, etc, were also air conditioned starting the day before to ensure that the whole building was comfortable in August.

    Some things worth considering:
    - aside from bedrooms in the manor, the nearest hotels are ~20 min drive away
    - a decent number of the rooms do not have private bathrooms, and some bathrooms are even shared in the hallway like a dorm (we gave these to the men and had no complaints)
    - ballroom is okay looking and does not match the aesthetic of the rest of the manor, but is certainly sufficient
    - rain plan option if you plan on being married outside is the ballroom, which is not ideal. Chapel does not fit many people so it is not always a rain plan option
    - you cannot bring in outside food. This makes the breakfast and lunch a bit expensive if you are there all day
    - they do not close off the entire outdoor grounds as it is a public property - we did not find this to be a problem. Only wedding guests were allowed inside the manor.
    - not the most responsive leading up to the wedding and did require some follow up emails, but always ended up being reachable

Overall, this place is truly a hidden gem. Compared to other venues of this grade, we were shocked by how much they included in their package and found it to be a great deal for the money we paid. We highly, highly recommend considering Skylands as the place for your wedding!

    Incredible venue with amazing team!

Skylands Manor is a breathtaking venue that will leave your guests in awe. The quality of service and food provided was exceptional. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour options and promptness of service at dinner. Linda was a pleasure to work with and provided us with comfort, flexibility & care as we worked together through a Covid postponement. I am grateful for all the attention she and our bridal attendant Ashley paid to us on our wedding day! The whole team was really awesome, kind, and the entire experience is what magic is made of. Highly recommend.

    Dream Wedding!

As soon as I took a tour at Skylands Manor I knew this was the venue I was going to get married in. We planned on getting married in January and wanted a pretty non traditional wedding, no sit downs, oyster bar, ice bars, etc. Skylands and Frungillo were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the planning process. Every quirky idea we had they ran with it! Linda’s vendor recommendations were spot on and we had the best florist (Warren Country), ice-carver (Jimmy’s Creations) and cake (Palermo). I have to be honest, like other reviews, the months leading up to the wedding sometimes communication did take some time, and I would have to follow up/hound with additional emails to get my questions answered. I will circle back to this....

The week leading up to the wedding Linda and the team let us drop off various packages, welcome bags, etc. We stayed the night before and had so much fun. The newest innkeeper was very friendly and took care of family members who arrived late to their room. The day of the wedding, WOW. Everything ran so incredibly seamlessly and that was 100% in part of Linda working her butt off. She knew exactly where to put everything, the flow of the wedding. She was always available, and could predict what would need to happen next. I thank her for sending a huge tray of food up to our suite because during the wedding I was too excited to eat anything and would have otherwise missed all the delicious food we picked. Speaking of which our guests could not stop raving about how good the food was. Frungillo went above and beyond with the quality of food and drink. I especially loved the champagne they had and it was perfect with our champagne tower.

Overall it was such a dream wedding. We were well taken care of, the staff was great! The only member of the team who was prickly was Lisa but I didn’t have to deal with her much. Linda was absolute best coordinator. I think with all the intense work they do on the day they must focus on the wedding/event that is happening right then and there. For that reason I would not be dismayed by lack of communication because they will get everything done you request and exceed expectations. Our guests said this was one of the best weddings they’ve been to in a long time if ever. I intend in the future to use Frungillo for my next event/party. Thank you!

Be a princess, get married at Skylands Manor!

I had my wedding here on 8/31/2018 and I could not have been happier. I knew Skylands Manor was for me the moment I stepped into the castle. I met with Linda who was preparing for a wedding that day and she was a little distracted, but that is only because of the dedication she has to making her bride's day perfect. She did the same for me on the day of my wedding, as did Roxanne and the rest of the staff. A thing they did that I did not expect was that they had all of the cocktail hour food set up in the library for my husband and I so that we could eat and have a quiet moment together.

The bridal suite (where the ladies get ready) is included over for the couple, but my husband and I also decided to rent the rest of the rooms for our bridal party and some other friends and family. DO THIS! It was so fun to have so many loved ones around to continue the celebration, and it included an after party with wine and cheese and a breakfast buffet the next morning.

In conclusion -- get married here!

We got married at Skylands Manor on November 10, 2017. If it wasn't for Linda Pergola, our wedding wouldn't have been as amazing as it was. Skylands is an incredible venue - absolutely beautiful. Frungillo caterers is phenomenal. I have people still talking about how amazing everything was. From the location to the food, there were no disappointments. Everything turned out exactly as I envisioned and it was really the best day ever!
A few days prior to the wedding, we went over to drop off our stuff and set up the room...the tables were not how I wanted them to be and I expressed this is to Linda. Low and behold, the night of our wedding, the tables were exactly how I wanted them to be. She also made sure that we always had a drink in front of us while making sure the wedding ran as smooth as it did. I can not recommend this venue enough for your wedding!

The only complaint that I think it worth mentioning is that we received many comments that it was very cold in the ballroom/bathrooms, which it was...I saw many people wearing their coats during the reception...(the day ended up being record low) The water in the hotel rooms never got remotely warm after running it for 20 minutes. (They have rooms right in the venue for guests..but you must remember the building is extremely old) We even received some comments at breakfast about the oil truck being there that morning and "its a little late." I think it was extremely convenient to be able to go right upstairs to the rooms, but I will honestly say it was not worth the added cost for some of our guests. They are very pricey and the fact that our guests couldn't use the shower in the morning was a little embarrassing.
Some of my items were also broken...so I think the staff needs to be more careful when they are packing up items (while I know they are eager to clean up) Things were just tossed everywhere...

While I shared those thoughts, do not let that be a reason to not use this location..

I had the most magical, beautiful wedding day at Skylands Manor. My now husband was still deployed when I had to start our wedding planning. We had about a five month window before his homeport was going to shift to Japan. Linda at Frungillo/Skylands was incredibly understanding of my situation. At the time my husband and I only had email as our form of communication and at times it could be slow to receive messages. Linda gave me her personal and even told me to call her on her days off if there was anything I needed or if I didn't hear back from my husband right away when we were trying to finalize the venue details. This was a huge help when you have only 5 months to plan your dream wedding. When he returned from deployment, they were extremely accommodating in having him come to the venue to see everything and answer any questions. He was very happy with our choice! The day of the wedding went as smooth as I could ever imagine. Everything was absolutely perfect. I wasn't sure on whether or not to have the wedding outside as it had been raining much earlier in the day and Linda literally came back and showed me her hand where she had touched the grass to show me. I would say that is going above and beyond. The food was amazing, everyone at the wedding said all of it was top notch. The service was impeccable and there was never at time when we needed something that someone wasn't there. If you plan to attend the cocktail hour, take Linda's advice and have a few minutes to yourself in the bridal suite where they bring up all the food you can eat. Having that alone time was very special and we got to enjoy all the food. To have everything in one place was perfect. The pictures outside were beautiful, the ceremony was so intimate and special and the cocktail and reception was a party I didn't want to end. We both always wanted to get married in a castle and our dream came true. I highly recommend Frungillo Skylands Manor!!!

I am so glad we chose Skylands Manor for our wedding venue (ceremony and reception). Our guests are still talking about how great a venue it was. As other reviews have stated, it is difficult to get in touch with Linda initially but on the weeks leading up to the wedding she is super responsive and accommodating. Her staff was super helpful with set up day of. There are no food tastings but the food is delicious so don't worry. We did not have to do much in way of flowers or decorations as the venue basically decorates itself. Cocktail hour, where you wander through the rooms of the mansion, makes for a super unique experience and was one of the selling points. The bridal suite you get for the night is gorgeous as well. Even in late November the grounds are beautiful here. Skylands made for our dream wedding and it could not have been better...thank you!!!

The question and comment we kept getting all night was... "How did you find this place and this is the best wedding venue I have ever been to." The wedding day was absolutely perfect and Linda and her staff are incredible and extremely attentive and accomodating. Leading up to the wedding it was occasionally difficult to get in touch with Linda. She is the only one there who can answer questions and is very busy. We were ultimately able to get all of our questions answered and everything turned out perfect. The food was amazing and plentiful! Linda also made sure that we took 5 minutes to sit down in a private room and get to sample everything during cocktail hour. The only downside worth mentioning about food is that they don't do a tasting but I can assure you it is delicious. The grounds are beautiful and we got some amazing pictures. One of my favorite things is also the ride in along the wooded road and the ceremony area, whether it's spring, summer, or fall it is absolutely breathtaking. The inside of the manor where the cocktail hour is held has amazing woodwork and is sure to impress. We knew this was our wedding venue from the moment we walked in the door and can't wait to come back and stay next year on our anniversary!

We had our wedding at the Skylands Manor on 8/26/16 and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! There are so many great things to say about this place...The manor and the gardens are absolutely stunning. The guests were so amazed with how unique the setting is. The food and cake were delicious! Even the pickiest of eaters raved about the food. Linda and her staff take care of everything the day of. So much so that I was able to relax and enjoy the day from start to finish. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Skylands Manor is a splurge to be sure, but the photos that you'll have of the magnificent grounds and gorgeous architecture in your wedding album make it truly priceless. Not only were our guests blown away by the venue from the moment they drove up that dramatic entryway, but everyone raved about the food from cocktail hour to the decadent plated desserts.

The Frungillo Caterers are consummate professionals who helped make the day run smoothly and took extra attentive care of me and my groom. They made this process of getting married effortless! Like most brides I had many questions and with the help from Linda Pergola and her team, they answered all of them! Not once did I feel like a burden or that she was uninterested. If Linda was not able to answer the phone, she always called back or emailed me with the answer to my question. I'll give you another example of how amazing Linda from Frungillo Caterers was: On the day of my wedding, the loops on my bustle somehow got torn before our big entrance. Linda came immediately to my rescue and with a thread and needle, she was able to bustle me. I fell in love with her personality and warmth when we first booked this place and even more on my wedding day.

One of the best things about getting married at this location is that it's ultra exclusive. Although the venue is part of a botanical park, the manor is yours exclusively on your wedding day. This makes it more private, memorable, and precious. The only downside of this place is their serving staff. They are a bit on the young side, therefore, lacking some of the professionalism that is required. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Skylands Manor as a wedding venue—they helped make my wedding a total dream come true!

    Love,
    Sandra & Mike

Linda and her staff were incredible the day of our wedding. She is on top of everything and ensures that everything goes smoothly. The food was absolutely incredible- my guests constantly bring it up haha. The location is just stunning- the castle, the grounds, everything. We were even able to continue the party after our reception in the recreation room upstairs (with out own drinks & snacks). Our closest friends/family stayed in the rooms of the castle with us (even though we didn't pick the option to actually rent the whole castle overnight), which was so much fun.
Linda made sure that my husband and I were well fed in our suite before we joined everyone else for cocktail hour. They just kept bringing more and more plates of food haha.
The bridal suite (Queen Antoinette's Suite) is so beautiful and comfortable. My bridesmaids and I had an incredible time getting ready in the living room, and my husband and I got to enjoy the suite that night and wake up to a view of the grounds with the sun coming through our window.
Leading up to it, Linda was a bit difficult to get in touch with until the month before our wedding (I'm assuming she's pretty busy with constant events- she works at more than one Frungillo location). This was frustrating, but we did get all of our questions answered eventually. But don't worry- it's worth it, and Linda will get everything done perfectly!

    The Perfect day

Skylands were the fourth venue we toured and we knew it had to be there. The venue is breath taking, the food was incredible. We have nothing we would change AT ALL! Linda was there from the start and was instrumental in setting everything up for us. All she wanted me to do was relax, which was completely possible as her team handled everything. I wish we could do that day all over again

My husband and I got married at Skylands Manor a little less than a month ago, and I was truly blown away by the entire experience. We had wanted a romantic garden style venue, but we wanted a venue with character and history, not a cookie cutter wedding hall. Skylands is a gorgeous manor in the middle of the botanical gardens in North Jersey, it captured everything we were looking for.

The venue was perfect, and the food was plentiful and delicious. We lucked out with the weather, and had our ceremony in the gardens, which was picture perfect. Afterwards, people couldn't stop raving about how good the food was during the cocktail hour! They do not offer tastings, so you just have to trust they know what they are doing, but they absolutely do. The cocktail hour was one of the highlights of the night, simply because the food, the rooms, and the decor were all so beautiful.

The reception was lovely, and while the hall was a little tight with my 150 guests, it actually made the room feel intimate since we were all so close and mingling together. I had really wanted to try to fit a photo booth in the reception hall, and Linda really bent over backward to make it happen for me. Linda was very flexible and easy to work with. At times it was a little difficult to get in touch with some of the team at Skylands, but in the end they came through and made my vision a reality.

We opted to do the overnight rooms for our guests, and I'm so glad we did! It made the whole event feel super exclusive, and they set up the top floor as an after-hours party with more food. We brought wireless speakers and kept the party going late into the early morning on the third floor, it was a blast.

While the whole ordeal was a little pricy, and definitely stretched my budget, in the end, it was worth every penny. We had a wedding that our family will be talking about for years to come. Our wedding day felt magical, and we are still on a high after such a beautiful event.

Our wedding at Skylands Manor was absolutely beautiful! Even though it looked like it was about to rain leading up to and to the end of our outdoor ceremony, it was still a perfect fairytale wedding. We got married on a Sunday but we essentially spent the weekend at Skylands. Our ceremony rehearsal was the Saturday before and Linda was great at explaining to my bridal party (including all the many small children we had walking with us) how the day was going to go. On the day of, Linda was great at keeping everything on pace. She checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing during cocktail hour and the reception and all of our guests raved about how wonderful everything was. I only wish that my husband and I got to sit down and taste more of it. Only our immediate family stayed in the available rooms but every room was amazing and the bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous! Our photographer had a great time shooting pictures there as well as in just about every part of the castle.

My only criticisms would be the responsiveness to our emails during the planning stage. Linda was good at answering emails but a lot of times her responses were quick and only just answering the question I asked. More detailed responses would have been helpful in the planning stages but overall the quick responses were not detrimental to anything. My only other criticism would be the food planning. We didn't know when we signed the contract that food tastings were not available not even for the cake that was included. As my mother and a few of our guests are vegan, I was really hoping to be able to try things and make sure they would be able to eat well and enjoy all aspects of our wedding. Even with slight changes we requested, there were no vegan options during cocktail hour. Nevertheless, our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Linda and her team at Frungillo.

We had both or ceremony and reception at Skylands and fell in love when we first saw it. Food was unreal, we had compliments all night! Attentiveness the day of was above and beyond, but the one thing I would have liked is if the weeks leading up to the wedding I would have gotten quicker responses than I did. For the high price we paid, I would expect a little bit higher level of service. Other then that it was amazing.

Skylands was slow to call back when I had questions and slow with sending out correspondences like the menu for the day and things of that sort. I have to say i was worried about the day of my wedding- the day of the wedding they do not mess around! Everything was perfect! it was exactly how i asked- everything- from my menus on the tables, certain items for kids placed on the correct tables, my favors- everything was perfect! the staff was awesome- any request was taken care of! Linda Pergaola- was wonderful! she took care of everything- absolutly nothing went wrong!! Food - although i didnt eat much of it- was absoulty raved about by everyone- we were nervous because we are very Italian and the tasting left a lot to be desired by parents- but my parents- two 100% italians- were very pleased with the food the day of! They said that tastings are hard becuase they really dont have the same chef for tastings- not sure exactly what the problem was!

Let me just start by saying that the Mansion and the grounds are spectacular!! And that is what you pay for, because everything else seemed to fall through the cracks. First of all we stayed there from Friday night all the way till check out on Sunday. We paid for the whole mansion on Saturday, which was supposed to include the special breakfast and so on. The breakfast was awful, on both mornings. For a place of this caliber, the service was just sad, to the point where it was laughable that they could get away with this. There was one guy there on Friday all night and in the morning, he cooked some eggs in the kitchen and put out a few rolls, but to even get eggs you had to find him first, including looking for him in the kitchen. The second morning they had a few rolls and added a small omelette station as well as a crepe station, the crepes were very good, but still I have had a better breakfast at Holiday Inn, where I paid $70 bucks for a room, instead of $250. The wedding food, was incredible, I will give them that, it was delicious! The only thing we were a bit upset about is that at cocktail hour they put the cheapest stations in the two biggest main rooms and put all the good stuff all the way at the ends in tiny rooms that most people didn't even get to. A cocktail hour is supposed to be flooded with food, especially at such a price tag. The dinner was amazing and delicious. The desserts were mediocre and were on such small trays that some people didn't even realize they were there. What really upset me was that one of my guests was dancing while they were handing out tea and coffee and after she sat down, she asked for tea and the server told her that they were finished serving tea, at 12am, when we paid till 1am! Wow, couldn't even give her a cup of tea?! THE ONE SAVING GRACE THERE IS LINDA, SHE REALLY WAS HELPFUL, ATTENTIVE AND MADE SURE OUR DAY WENT WELL. For the price you pay, you do not get the food/service that you expect in such a beautiful place.

I grew up around Ringwood and remember quite fondly ice skating at Shepards Lake. So when we got enaged, Skylands was the only place for me. We did not have our ceremony here as by our religion we had to marry in church. I timed my wedding so we could be a part of it. I will admit we were disappointed by how we were treated for most of the time we were planning our wedding. Only the couple of weeks prior to the wedding did we hear from Linda Pergola on a regular basis; but 6 months before our wedding, she was not sure who we were. From what I saw, she is understaffed during the planning phase, but well staffed the night of your affair. Linda truly knows her weddings, but very, very slow to respond unless you are a bride about to be married at Skylands. The staff at Frungillo's home office in Mountainside, NJ is less then desirable. Communication is at a stand still and we had to correct them (not Linda) often about when payments were due and how much. I wish there were more of Linda and less of the home office staff. They treat you like a $$ sign and yet, the venue is the most expensive part of your wedding! No taste testings; however, not to worry. We asked around and heard Frungillo's food was good, and it is. People are still raving about the food and of course the location.

I had my wedding at the Skylands Manor. The morning forecast predicted rain for the day. I would have been mortified if my wedding was in the downstairs of the venue. It looks like a funeral home down there. However, the Sun was shining and it was the most beautiful day. I absolutely had a fairytale wedding. The venue is stunning and the cocktail hour is still something that my guest talk about to this day. It was great being able to stay in the castle the night of the wedding with all of my favorite guests. I really can't say anything bad about the overall service and flow of the day. It really was a dream come true. I do have one major complaint. Linda. She has been working for a very long time, knows her stuff, is down to business, extremely organized, and does her job well. However, I think it's time for her to retire and spend time with her grandkids. She clearly doesn't have time for " stupid questions" and rushes through mettings ans conversations. Linda talks a million miles a minute. When it was time for the after party, we had paid for an hour and a half of service. After an hour, she started sweeping the floor and turning the lights up. I understand that it was a probably a very long night for her and all of the workers. I used to work in restaurant business and I know that dealing with people especially those who are drinking can be absolutely exhausting. All of my guests were compliant and in control for the entire evening. They were not difficult to manage by any means nor were they difficult to clean up after. She was just so absolutely rude and in my mind you're as good as your last Act. It left a really bad taste in my mouth after a very wonderful day. Overall it really is an amazing venue and I wish I could do it all over again.

Skylands is a beautiful venue - the grounds are amazing for photos and the castle is really fun to walk around in for cocktail hour. I had my wedding on the lawn outside under a tent and the venue was really flexible in allowing me to choose what tent I wanted and what rentals I wanted to bring in. The food was fantastic and there is a ton of food at cocktail hour. The reception was beautiful, and the staff was great when it came to the setup of the tent and servicing the dinner.

In terms of planning ... Linda, the venue coordinator, was at times hard to get in touch with. She did always get back to me eventually, but I felt that our conversations were rushed a lot of the time causing many details to be skimmed over and made me feel like I wasn't being listened to. She was a bit disorganized, which left me feeling not very confident prior to the day of. This also made the day of stressful for me, especially leading up to the ceremony. We didn't end up doing a formal rehearsal because Linda was confident that it would go without a hitch with her there directing everyone. She agreed to do a quick rehearsal day of, which was thrown together last minute, and didn't include the parents. My in-laws and ring bearer ended up walking down the wrong aisle! Unlike the other reviews I did not feel like the bridal attendants/maitre d were very attentive - I'm not actually sure who was who as I was never formally introduced to their roles. They were present during the morning/getting ready, but not much afterward when there were many times I really needed someone. Nadya, however, did stand out and was very helpful!

One of my biggest regrets was relying on the venue coordinator and not getting a separate day of coordinator, who was more thorough and invested in my wedding.

edit: i'm not sure how my review got transferred to this page. I want to clarify that I got married at the Skylands Manor in Ringwood.

Let me start by saying that the grounds and the mansion are absolutely breath taking. I got married at skylands a few weeks ago. From start to finish the planning and responsiveness was very stressful. I would receive few answers to my questions and would get conflicting responses at times. As for the day of, it went pretty smoothly and Linda helped with everything. The servers were all very nice and efficiant although I wished our signature cocktail was served in something other than water glasses. The cocktail hour was beautiful, but the food at the reception was not at all. We did pay a significant amount extra for sushi and for lamb and fish. I was told that they began to run out of sushi during cocktail hour and the actual plated meals were not good at all. The crusted grouper we paid extra for was actually a soggy sour mess because they poured a sauce over the "crust". The dessert tray was very small and sad and the cake was cut wrong (by that i mean that it was cut crosswise so some guests got no filling at all!). Lastly, out of 24 rooms we booked 10 for some of our family and friends. Their claim of 24 hour drinks and snacks was bogus and in fact the bottle of water in each room came with a price tag. The kicker was that the included breakfast consisted of microwaved egg product and bacon. Not acceptable for a place of this 'caliber' nor for a place that charges up to $250 per room. Some guests did not even have a table to sit at for breakfast!

    Outdoor Wedding at Skylands Manor

We got married at Skylands Manor in June 2019. My husband and I fell in love with the beautiful grounds and chose to have an outdoor ceremony and reception. The day of our wedding, everything fell into place and turned out beautifully. Linda arrived early and was setting everything up with her team. She made sure to check in with the bridal party and was responsive to any questions of concerns we had the day of.

We did have a difficult time getting responses to questions prior to our wedding. We had many unanswered emails and had to follow up more than once to get a response. Like stated above, we chose to get married outside, and needed to book a tent. This process took us over 7 months to do, due to the lack of responses. It got to the point where my husband and I started contacting rental companies on our own to get pricing quotes. The lack of communication made wedding planning stressful at times.

If you are a bride that needs an immediate response or answer you will most likely not get that here. However, even with the poor communication, everything turned out perfectly the day of our wedding. The food was great, the atmosphere was magical and guests raved about the cocktail hour in the castle.

Pros: grounds, castle and outdoor ceremony space are beautiful, food was great, waiter per table and bar in reception room, cake was great, bridal suite is pretty and spacious, bridal attendant was super nice and helpful.

cons: $3,000 state feem Linda and woman who handles the room booking can improve their customer service skills, hard to reach them and rude when you do get them, they don't provide place card tables, for the amount of money you are spending the catering director and other employees should be treating brides and grooms with alot more respect, no mini fridge in bridal suite, no water to drink or a food area so when the wedding is over and you go back to your room to unwind and eat, wedding was on a sunday and they were kicking me out monday morning, breakfast wasn't good.

over all I had a beautiful wedding.

    Not Worth the Price

For the price you pay to have your Wedding at Skylands Manor, it is honestly not worth it. We hosted a Wedding this past Fall, and while the Manor is historic and seated on beautiful grounds (with a great exterior), the food, service and overnight accommodations are frankly not worth the price.

The Ceremony outside on the Manor Lawn was beautiful and straight out of a movie, however, there was a large tent that was set up for the wedding the day after ours. Luckily it was not in the way of our ceremony, but it was a huge eye sore and confusing to guests who thought we were using the tent. It also prevented photos in the area with the view of the Mountains. The venue said nothing to us about this tent and when we expressed concern of it being there during the wedding, we were told "The Sales manager should've mentioned this to you" and that was it, so we moved on. We were told that complimentary champagne would be passed out to guests upon arrival. A couple of bottles of Champagne were placed on an random entry table with some glasses, but they were never used by guests because there was no one there to pour them and absolutely no signage to let guests know it was even meant for them. Thank god we didn't pay extra for it, but the package is expensive enough as is.

The property sits on the NJ Botanical Gardens and while we were told signage would be posted for tourists to avoid walking through the wedding, there were no such signs around the property. Tourists were walking about the grounds as the wedding was happening. The grounds were also dirty, empty champagne bottles were left in the bushes, glass on the walkway, and a random trash bag in a hall way of the Manor leading to the ceremony.

Our Sales Manager, Matthew, was incredibly helpful and very responsive throughout the contracting process. We were then turned over to Linda our venue coordinator, who was less responsive but was easy to work with in the planning process. We thought everything would be great day of based on previous interactions, however, she made us feel like every request we made day-of was a burden to her. Luckily I had my own Wedding Planner onsite to assist with everything. My wedding planner and her team made several simple/reasonable requests to Linda prior to the Ceremony and Reception and they were treated like they had no idea what they were doing. Requests were made for some water glasses in the reception area be polished/replaced because they were clearly dirty, they asked that broken glass be removed from the walkway leading into the Reception Space from the outside, and more. The glasses were never cleaned and my planning team took care of several other requests, despite Linda saying she would complete them.

One positive I thought would be the food, based on the menu tasting. The Cocktail hour items were very good. People raved about the Pasta Bar and Lobster Rolls. Reception entrees were okay, but many were room temp at best and had little flavor. Additionally, our charcuterie board for our cocktail hour was put out FIVE HOURS in advance with no plastic wrap or cheese cloths to cover anything. They just sat out for hours prior to the actual cocktail hour. There was only one bar set in the cocktail hour in the corner of one of the rooms and the line was terrible. A second bar should have been placed in another room, instead of having two bartenders behind one bar in the corner. We also receive the wrong after party items. We ordered the Mini Hot Dogs, Burgers and Fries for our After Party for guests staying onsite, and we received these awful flatbread pizzas instead. By the time we realized they were wrong, it was too late and we were too tired to complain.

We reserved all guest rooms in the Manor for our Wedding and there were so many issues throughout the building, I'm not sure where to begin. Some rooms do not include their own bathrooms, you have to use a hall bathroom amongst guests. We were not made aware of this during our tour or at any point before signing our contract. And the few larger rooms that do have a private bathroom, some don't have working shower heads. The overnight Inn Keeper was incredibly disrespectful to guests and laughed at simple requests that were made like towels needed in rooms. Guests staying overnight were also told that they couldn't use the Valet Service because they were staying over night. And the parking lot for the Manor is a walk!!

If you've made it to the end of this review, I applaud you because I know it's a lot. But as a person in the Hospitality/Wedding Industry, the issues throughout this property were significant and none of the staff seemed to care about the service or overall experience. If you are planning to spend anywhere between $60K-$100K on your wedding, I would not recommend this venue and would suggest somewhere were you actually receive the value of what you are spending.

Gorgeous Venue, Not the Best Service

Skylands Manor is an incredibly beautiful and unique place to get married, and we had an amazing day! In terms of the venue itself, everything was perfect (you'd be hard pressed to find a much cooler place for your wedding), and the food was fantastic. Pete (bartender) was incredibly helpful and kind. He was around when we were setting up the week of and went above and beyond to make sure we had all of the help we needed. He was truly phenomenal.

We had a lot of communication issues with Linda and some of her team leading up to the wedding, and it made planning unnecessarily stressful. In the beginning, we couldn't get replies to any emails, texts, or phone calls whatsoever. If we received anything, it was months later. Leading up to the wedding we heard from her more often (mostly when money was due), but many of our questions went unanswered or we couldn't get complete answers for most things. There were a ton of miscommunications- we would be asked for information about things that we took care of several times months ago at the last minute (and had emails backing it up), we showed up for a meeting we confirmed several times to find no one there, we were told at the last minute that Linda was on vacation the week of our wedding and would back for the day of, and we were told contradictory information about several things such as which rooms were available for guests to stay in. It just didn't inspire confidence that everything was being taken care of properly. We also agreed at our menu meeting with Linda to add on mozzarella triangles as one of the eight included hors d'oeuvres. They were no where to be found the day of- when myself, several bridesmaids, or my mom asked for them, they were told they'd go find some. One bridesmaid was told that there were none, another was told that wasn't included but they would throw some on for the bride for the reception, and one was LIED to and was told that I had them already. This was one of the only "special" requests we had, and it was included in what we paid for, and I never got them! It was also odd that we would eat a bite of food or sip of a drink, turn away for a few minutes, and everything was gone each time.

In summary, most things went flawlessly the day of, and I was really happy we picked the venue itself. Linda was pretty good the day of, but didn't go above and beyond leading up to that day (like we were under the impression she would when we booked). The customer service is severely lacking in terms of planning and accessibility. They need to hire more staff, or at the very least provide customers with a booklet of faq's to assist in planning if the staff isn't willing or available to provide basic information. It's stressful enough to plan a wedding, you shouldn't be waiting weeks to potentially never get the information you need, especially for the amount of money you spend! I would recommend this venue once they sort these issues out.

Linda was difficult to reach and refused to take responsibility for any of the many items we discussed. Unfortunately this made wedding planning quite difficult. However day-of the team working was AMAZING. They took care of everything from start to finish and our guests were so impressed. The food was nothing short of incredible and the matire'd was on top of every detail. We loved the venue and everything we ate. It doesn't make up for the headaches during the planning process though, so even though everything went PERFECTLY on the big day and our guests really enjoyed themselves - the behind the scenes work with everyone was sub-par. I wish there were more rating categories, so that I could give Frungillo a fair rating but the likelihood of my recommending this particular venue to a friend without some changes in how things are dealt with from a managerial and sales perspective is low. High praise for the maitre'd and the chef ..

Beautiful Venue, Poor Communication & Planning

We fell in love with the grounds and the castle so we chose our venue based on these things. We were originally scheduled for June 2020 and then Covid happened. Rescheduling was extremely difficult because communication is poor- our contact said she would hold our date for June 2021 so we could confirm with our other vendors and when we reached back out in less then 24 hours we were told our date was taken. We were forced to reschedule for April 2021 since they would not discuss with us our options for refund.

Communicating with anyone regarding anything at the venue is difficult- they really don't want to talk to you after your tour and signing the contract until about 45 days prior to your day.

Since we signed our contract in September 2019 we discussed with Linda about doing our ceremony at the long koi pond- the major selling point for us. When she reached out to discuss plans and details prior to April 2021, we confirmed we still wanted to do the ceremony by the pond. No one indicated it would be a problem. Wedding day- while my husband was looking at the grounds waiting for our first look, he discovered the ceremony was not set up at the pond nor was the pond even filled! We had to rush to make a decision of where we wanted our ceremony- he asked about the status of the koi pond and was told they don't fill it prior to the end of April! This should have been discussed with us long before the day of our ceremony/reception since this is what we pictured and were most excited for- not hours before the ceremony. So our ceremony vision and plans were ruined by poor communication.

They also do not provide any food/drink to the bridal suite or to the groom in the library. We had to ask for glasses, silverware, etc. to eat/drink the items we had to bring with us because it wasn't in the room(s).

Again, due to Covid we were forced to cut our guest list and tried to make every accommodation possible for the safety and comfort of our guests. We asked our contact (Linda) if we could have tables outside for cocktail hour to provide guests fresh air and the option and she confirmed it wouldn't be problem- these tables were no where to be seen. Communicating that cocktail hour was over was by ringing a bell- none of the guests knew what that meant or where to go, besides the fact guests didn't get to half of the food because few people realized food was in multiple rooms.

As soon as our DJ played the last song for the night the full lights came on and the staff started dumping all our centerpieces into garbage bags. Just because we didn't give them away to guests via the DJ didn't mean we didn't have another plan for them! We also found out they threw out our entire wedding cake and only saved the top tier for us, which was destroyed in a box and plastic wrap. Again, why throw away all the money we have spent on this evening- cake could have been given to us or guests and our family was planning on taking home our centerpieces.

We stayed in the castle with family and bridal party after the reception. Family and friends mentioned issues with their rooms the next morning at breakfast- lack of towels/linens, sinks and plumbing not working at all (everyone knew it was an old castle, but if there are problems with plumbing, sinks, etc. then tell us rooms are unavailable or fix these issues before allowing guests to stay!)
We were told check out is at 10:30am after breakfast is completed at 10am. We were not even done with breakfast and couples and other people were coming in to tour the venue. It was so inappropriate since we paid for the castle until check out at 10:30am- tours should not be scheduled to interrupt the last bit of time in the castle that still belongs to us. Why would you let other people interrupt a wedding that is still going on!

Overall the grounds and castle are beautiful and that is the only items we would recommend to other couples. The poor communication and failure to follow through with our plans/vision/discussions and allowing other couples/people to interrupt our send off brunch outweigh the positives. No bride/couple should be disappointed in their wedding, but again the lack of communication and the service was not as expected for such a beautiful venue.

Maître d’ day of was great. Promised a bridal attendant and we never saw her. Communication concerning planning was horrible. Had the layout of the reception wrong despite several corrections. Owner of the company personally attempted to correct problems because the staff responsible on site wasn’t helpful.

    Ruined my wedding day

DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE. The treatment you will receive is beyond unacceptable, especially if you're a bride or groom with anxiety. They are rude, will bark at you and make you feel like you are insignificant and just another business transaction--not someone getting married once, having a special day. I could go on and on about the ridiculousness and the horrible treatment that I, myself, my family, my photographer, and my guests received. Suffice to say, the coordinator, Linda, ruined my day. She was wildly uncommunicative beforehand (who needs to plan, right?) and was rude and unhelpful when she did. The manager of the overnight rooms laughed at my MIL when she asked a question, and was unavailable for weeks when we were trying to book. They also never seem to be working or to be available. We had multiple lapses and timelines of hearing nothing, despite multiple attempts. Then the replies would be so grammatically erroneous or mistyped that they were hard to read (what a priority I felt like receiving quick replies from an iPhone). They misplaced things the day of so guests did not even get some of our favors. They rushed me (the bride) so much that I did not even get all of the pictures I wanted, the one chance I had to do so. Linda's rudeness was noticed by all. We had the venue until 9, and they started cleaning up and closing things down as our guests were filing out... it was so embarrassing. The hotel guy made my family, including my 2-year-old nephew and mother who has lung cancer, to wait outside in the cold because "it's my job to get out of here in 15 minutes." They told certain people they could not eat because god forbid they had such a rushed timeline for whatever reason. They told one of our guests that there was no valet parking, even though there should have been, so they had to walk quite far. The day before the wedding we had an emergency and had to change the timeline, and Linda called and barked at me and told me it was all about her staff. I suspect that because my photographer was not one of their recommended vendors that she received the poor treatment that she did. I honestly could go on and on and I hope every person considering this place see's this. Not to mention, the rehearsal was a disaster... Linda was not even there because she never seems to work, and they acted so confused and had nothing organized. They also placed the microphone in front of myself and my groom during the ceremony so those pictures are just fantastic, we can only see our officiant. There were surprise fees, increase in prices, and never-ending contention when we tried to be reasonable with our requests to honor our contract, which we would have definitely revoked had we not put a deposit in already. You can tell this is only a business to them and that they don't really care about individual couples. I cried multiple times and had several panic attacks, all to continue to be treated poorly. You're not supposed to regret anything about your wedding. I regret booking here, staying over night, giving them money, and not getting pictures I wanted because we were constantly rushed because anything can't be a second late, which people told me they had never heard of before-rushing a bride/groom. DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE.

    Poorly organized and managed

We had planned for a Memorial Day weekend black tie spring wedding at a castle with an outdoor ceremony inspired by Greens, blushes and rosegold colored pallettes for over a year.(my husband is active duty military and stationed in Oklahoma and we planned everything with multiple trips between okc and NJ. One can only hope that wedding days go as perfectly as planned, but like rain during an outdoor ceremony things can go awry. However, professionalism and honesty are vital substances that are not only EXPECTED but REQUIRED from a vendor when you as a client are paying thousands of dollars for the "big day" and have put all your trust in their hands as you sign on the dotted lines of the contract who made the entire process sound promising before accepting the money. We did not receive this common courtesy from Skylands manor or its staff promptly following signing the contract and initial deposit clearance for our wedding.

    1. The week prior to the wedding: We stopped by the ringwood area for marriage certification and decided to pop in on the venue to do a final walk through for details. What I walked into was heartbreaking. To our surprise the venue grounds was an utter disaster and absolutely unacceptable. 2 giant cranes present on the site of ceremony space and blocking cocktail hour space ( cranes were still present on day of my wedding and we had to decide on not using an entire area and one of the cocktail station rooms. The grounds had been entirely dug into, grass covered in mud and tire markings, with steel construction gates and signs throughout the entire outside space.
The venue is old and historical and the grounds were promised to be presentable. We get it. That's why we chose it initially. Unprofessionalism and dishonesty on how the grounds were to look on day of the wedding, that is unacceptable and no one should have to find out the day before their wedding that the ceremony space needs to changed because grounds cannot be fixed as promised by owners the week before.
We received no calls, no emails from the venue or Linda to warn of this " yearly state work" which is what they had claimed. Linda finally decided to call my planner, not my fiancé or myself ( clients) on the Friday afternoon (may 24) 2 days before the wedding during a holiday weekend(Sunday May 26) to discuss change of location for the ceremony space as it still looked "unacceptable". Once showing my concern and nearly being in tears minutes before my rehearsal dinner we were told "oh we already bought 15 plants to cover that and it should look fine by day of the wedding" by the owners themselves. The amount of " we don't care " vibe that we received was truly one I will never forget. No compensation was offered by the owners until we asked to be refunded for the mess of a ceremony space and cocktail hour space they were providing for us. We got a $2000 refund check for a poorly organized, chaotic ceremony and cocktail hour after spending over $26,000 on just the venue and catering.

    2. Linda Pergola ("go to person ") was never promptly available via phone or email. She would return emails or text messages which usually made little to no sense for the majority of time no earlier than 3-4 days after. Nonetheless we always and definitely received prompt phone calls and emails 2-3 months prior to the wedding date whenever a balance was due for the wedding.
The day off she was not present at venue till after 9:45am (bridal party prep started at 8:45 w hair and makeup already arrived and was only shown to the library by maintenance( no lights throughout the entire am, and no one available to answer any questions . When she did arrive she did not bother to even come to the library to see how we were doing.
10 mins before my ceremony was due to start Linda came up to the bridal suite to notify me that it's drizzling "a little". No plans to move the ceremony indoors at this time was in place. Granted this was a decision both her and my event planner made together to continue with the outdoor ceremony, there were no immediately available umbrellas available for my bridal party or the guests as they were standing outside. ALL makeup washed down and hairs ruined as the bridesmaids held onto 3 umbrellas amongst 6 of them and myself, while the groomsmen stood in their tuxes getting drenched in downpour rain. My guests dressed in black tie, soaked. Once the speakers outside decided to make static noises I finally had to make the call myself and decided to move the ceremony indoors which was chaotic to say the least down to the basement. The guests asked for towels from Linda and her staff, or anything to dry them off with really( the venue also served as a hotel, they should have towels at least) which they did not not receive for about 15-20 mins. After all this, Linda was "generous enough" to extend the cocktail hour by 15 minutes.
Rental chairs are only one example of Linda's poor management skills. 3 months prior to the wedding we did walk through of the venue with my partial planner and discussed renting chairs and she mentioned no other cost. The week prior to the wedding Linda tells us "she was told of this too late" and now for them to put chairs around tables and stack them up would be an additional charge of $500 for not letting her know soon enough and needing extra staff. The groom and groomsmen set up the chairs in 10 minutes.

    Cons:
*Linda Pergola : Maitre Don't (unprofessional, unorganized, does not answer emails or calls in a timely manner, poor management)
*Ceremony space: unacceptable, not presentable for any ceremony or event, construction on site, ground dug in with mud and tire markings in grass not warned in a timely manner and dishonest about the how the space would be for ceremony.
*The chapel which was initially discussed during deciding on the venue in case there is bad weather during the ceremony was also no longer available by the time it was time for our wedding.
**No staff available in the am when other vendors arrived
Power went out and stayed out for atleast 15 minutes while getting ready, which was only taken care of after my mom started asking maintenance to look into it.
*Before we booked the venue "we will do everything to make it the best day for you" was mentioned multiple times. After payments were completed " no we cannot do this " was a never ending statement that I heard often.

    Pros:
    1. The food tasted great during the reception and the 2 bites of cocktail hour dumplings I got a taste of was good as well. I would hire Frungillo caterers outside of the venue but would never recommend anyone to have a ceremony here or work with the current staff in charge.
    2. Peter Ranges : Bartended AND helped put away the rental chairs when we returned to the venue the day after to make sure all is taken care of. Linda, no where to be seen. Peter took care of the groomsmen prior to the ceremony asking them if they needed anything. He was kind, and made gestures to make sure at least my reception was going to be able to makeup for the disastrous ceremony.

Skylands Manor by Frungillo Caterers's reply:

    Dear Tasha.
We were overwhelmingly upset when we saw the conditions of the small section of the back lawn of Skylands a few days before your Wedding. We cannot believe that the contractor that the state hired would have left that area in that condition. The emergency work on the roof was told to us that it had to be done and we had no say at all on this repair. I am also happy that the state did respond to our request prior to your Wedding and cleaned up the area to the best of their ability to get it ready for the Wedding. Skylands is over 1,000 acres and it is unfortunate that this 10x20 area was only mulched and should have been sodded after there work. We know how strong you were about having your ceremony outside but we don't control rain or weather and you do have some spectacular photos of the start of your ceremony outside at Magnolia Lane behind Skylands. We are so happy that the crane and fencing were removed prior to your Wedding. It was our pleasure to cater your Wedding and wish nothing but the best of luck to you all. If you need us for anything, please call us direct. Thank you again and Congratulations on a wonderful Wedding.

    Outdated system and under staffed
Where to start... first we used both the hotel/bed and breakfast and wedding venue. Communication with the staff is difficult to say the least. Email to Linda the catering or Lisa for accommodations are poorly handled. Multiple emails went unanswered to Linda and Lisa only responds on Wednesdays! The lack of staff and over worked staff shows thru! We knew that the establishment was dated but that is def part of the charm. Linda walked us thru and sold like a true sales person. She said you can do anything you want and we will make your day just perfect. Well once they get your money there is a different tune sung! A ceremony space in the basement - which looks like a morgue. When we dropped off our 2nd payment and discuss a few details of the ceremony Linda was not thrilled. I asked if we could get an idea of how many chairs would fit in the room that we wanted to hold the ceremony, her response was that she didn't have the staff to get the chairs. She then harshly placed the folder that was in her hand on the table and walked out of the room. She then returned with a few chairs she was not thrilled that she was doing such a task. That is pretty much the start of the downfall she was pissed and you could tell. Two days prior we are going to set up the space we were supposed to have access at 10am my daughter is told via email the night before that we will not be able to get in until 4PM huge difference. Nadia was the nice young lady that was our point of contact that day. We asked we could turn up the heat. After along time and they still had yet to come I addressed the issue I went to the thermostat and turned up the heat. An hour later the room was still at 58 it was literally unbearable. MANY MANY MORE ISSUES!

Weigh your pros & cons first

The Skylands Manor offers beautiful and unique grounds for weddings, with stunning backdrops for photos. However, our experience working with their staff was frustrating to say the least. Day-of coordination felt disorganized, with our bridal suite not ready upon arrival. We felt shuffled between rooms while getting ready. Despite the venue's aesthetics and good food, these coordination issues unfortunately took away from our special day. For the high price, we expected more professionalism and organization from the staff. While the manor itself is picturesque, improvements in communication and organization could better justify the value and expense for brides and grooms. Hopefully you won’t be treated like a dollar sign if you choose to get married here but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for us.

    Do not book this Venue!

WARNING! They are the rudest most heartless, defensive narcissists I have ever met! They lied to my husband and I about all the promises they made, and the wife of the owner, Lisa called me just to yell at me!
Firstly, we were told that signs would be put up to prevent tourists from interfering with our ceremony and reception. There were no signs! We had random tourists sitting in our ceremony chairs and in our photos! My guests had to tell them to leave! Random people were drinking the cider we paid for, and no staff was there to stop them! Lastly, two random women that were NOT my guests asked me what time my wedding started AS I WAS ABOUT TO WALK DOWN THE ISLE! I could not believe the lack of respect the staff has for the couples who pay for weddings here!
Second, we got ROBBED at our own wedding! The owner’s wife advised to me that they hire a third party for their wait staff, so they don’t know these “kids”. Someone went into the UNLOCKED groomsmen room and opened my husband’s and all his groomsmen duffle bags and ripped open envelopes! I asked the Maître d' why they did not lock the doors and she said it is not their “policy” to lock the bridal party doors. They were both left wide open the entire time with guests wandering around everywhere even when I had asked them to lock them! Unreal! I never heard of that “policy”! If you check other site’s reviews, there are multiple reviews regarding theft! And the owners rudely get defensive! Lisa, the mother of the Maître d' Michelle, called me the following day after I had texted Michelle if I can get the video footage to see who did it. She yelled at me and violently and told me that I was calling her daughter a thief! I never said that! All I had texted Michelle was that I would like to see the video footage. Mind you, I still tipped the wait staff because I thought it would help me get the video footage! I wasn’t rude to anyone that day because being rude doesn’t get any situation resolved.
Another issue I had, since the door was unlocked in the bridesmaid room… someone went in there and ate all my cocktail hour food. I mentioned this to the Maître d' Michelle, and she didn’t even ask her staff to get my husband and I extra plates of food! When her mother Lisa called me the next day, I explained to her the situation, and she yelled at me saying “Michelle is not your servant!”. I was so confused because they are serving food… if something is wrong with the food, isn’t the wait staff responsible to fix the issue? I was not even rude to Michelle. I could not believe that I spent 60K on this wedding and they couldn’t even get me an extra plate of food!
3 weeks later, I met again with the owner’s wife Lisa. She allowed me to view the video which showed nothing because their cameras are conveniently only in certain areas of the mansion… I recorded the entire conversation and I kept catching Lisa in lies as she verbally abused me. She proceeded to tell me that I was being knit picky and making a big deal out of “nothing”. She would not even give me a partial refund either. These people are ruthless and heartless human beings.

Service horrific. No one knew where anything was. Waiters and waitresses average age 18. No one asked if you wanted a drink at dinner. One bar in room. Had to wait on line. Very unprofessional. Absolutely unclassy wedding. Grounds had no flowers or beauty. I dont know where the beauty is supposed to be in this place. Food just okay. Cocktail hour minimal food. Liquor definitely not top brands.
