From my outreach to Sky Ranch Lodge all the way to my wedding day was amazing. Great service and they were a breeze to work with. I’m from Kentucky and eloped to Sky Ranch they made planning so easy even over 1,000 miles away. The views are spectacular and I don’t think you will get those type of views anywhere else. Breathtaking! I loved our wedding coordinators and the whole Sky Ranch team. Thank you! -

Seamless Day. Remembered Every Online Tip I Forgot
We did the Diamond Package with their coordinator Tiffany and they went above and beyond. All of the vendors they recommended were fantastic (we chose R. Gonzalaz for photography, FRSH Entertainment for DJ, Sedona Catering Co, and flowers and the baker were Sky Ranch's choice) the food was delicious, the DJ was amazing. Every single little tip and trick I had saved from social media to remember on the day of, Tiffany had covered without me having to think or remember. I cannot overstate how wonderful the team, the view, and the ease of the day were at Sky Ranch. -

Dream Wedding Come True
Sky Ranch Lodge was an absolutely stunning location for our wedding! The breathtaking views and serene atmosphere made our day truly magical. Having all our guests stay on site with us was wonderful; it created a sense of intimacy and togetherness that we will cherish forever.
Natalie, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute gem. She managed all our requests with grace and efficiency, even the last-minute ones, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. Thanks to her, our dream wedding became a reality.
We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more perfect day! -

To start: WE LOVE SKY RANCH LODGE!! GET MARRIED HERE!!
My husband and I got married at SRL in April 2023 with 60 guests in attendance. We visited Sedona in January 2022 to go venue hunting and saw SRL as well as a few other venues in Sedona, and nothing could compare to SRL. The obvious selling point, the stunning unobstructed view is what really hooked us. It was magic. We booked with them later that same day. We opted for the “Dream” package in which we worked directly with a wedding coordinator/planner at SRL and they pretty much helped us plan our wedding from beginning to end including executing contracts and payments with all the related vendors. This was HUGE for us since we live in NJ and could not easily go out there and be familiar with the vendors. We had monthly Zoom calls with our coordinator (Shannon Jennings) which was amazing. Shannon was ontop of everything and had notes on anything I mentioned I wanted included in our day. She handled everything, including coordinating everything the day of. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, we were able to get tons of stuff shipped to SRL in preparation for the wedding. They stored our items in a designated place that was temperature controlled. We can’t appreciate that enough! Also, between the time we booked SRL and our wedding day, they installed a gorgeous pavilion that replaced their prior outdoor tent for the reception space. It really was a tremendous addition to the venue and pulled everything together. The day of our wedding was also a little bit chilly so being able to close the walls/doors on the pavilion was great. Also, we were able to use their inventory of décor items which was so nice and helpful!! That was a huge selling point for us too.
The only cons I had about our days are not deal breakers, but I hope they will read this and consider changing for the future:
1. The “room block” we receive as part of the package did not truly offer any kind of discounted rate for our guests that wanted to use the block. The guests could have booked the rooms as a normal guest and would have received the same rate, so there was no benefit in using the “block” besides grouping the rooms near each other (which didn’t really help since a majority of the guests didn’t know each other).
2. The bridal suite is only included for free on the night of the wedding. That is indeed very generous and helpful, but if you are getting ready with your bridesmaids early the day of (which most brides do), you will need to book the room the night before as well since check-in is in the late afternoon. I think the venue should offer the room as a complimentary gesture in order to cover the night before and the night of so that the wedding party can properly make use of the room.
3. The wait staff took people’s food from the table a little bit early. Some people wish they had a chance to finish the amazing food from Villaggio!
4. The staff didn’t put any dessert down on our sweetheart table. Some of my bridesmaids made sure to get us a few things before they ran out and leave it on our table. Obviously as bride and groom, it’s hard to find a minute to grab desserts so if the staff could have done it, it would be have really helpful.
5. I also would encourage the bridal suite/room to have a hook to hang the dress 😊 I ended up hanging it off the shower head since there wasn’t any designated hook high enough off the floor.
Overall, I would get married at SRL a million times over. We had the absolute best day and experience from A to Z. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE TEAM!!!! -

My husband and I decided to get married in Sedona due to the magnificence of the red rocks and the magical energy. We were so excited to get married that we had a 4 month engagement, which meant that our vendors had 4 months to get ready for our wedding. In choosing a location, we spoke with several other locations and ultimately decided to go with Sky Ranch Lodge for the spectacular views and the lodging options. This was the best decision we ever made. The staff was friendly, the wedding team answered my questions AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY! Everyone knew you by name and was eager to help with any questions you had. Shannon was our wedding coordinator and made sure no detail was left out. We had 4 Zoom meetings with her where we reviewed color schemes, vendors, timelines, etc. Thomas (the manager) called us personally to review the room block options. No matter who I spoke with, they were always friendly and courteous.
You will be able to feel the magic when you get to the lodge. We stayed in a botanical garden room and a rim view room, both of which were cozy and clean. There were fresh baked cookies every morning and hot coffee in the lobby. The refillable water station made it easy for me to stay hydrated. The warm pool had the kids occupied.
On the wedding day, Shannon was there with her team making sure we were on time. It was so beautiful, words cannot describe, and pictures do not do it justice. Thank you to the entire Sky Ranch Team for making our stay magical and unforgettable. We will be coming back! -

Perfection!
Not only is this venue absolutely stunning, but the team that we worked with there to plan and coordinate our wedding went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Shannon was thoughtful, detail oriented, and one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever worked with. She made sure every little detail was exactly how we hoped it would be. She made this such a personalized experience that we felt like she became part of the family. The wedding went so smoothly and everyone had a great time. We got a ton of compliments on the beautiful venue and the event set up done by the Sky Ranch team. Absolute perfection! Thank you Sky Ranch and Shannon for making our day so perfect and the planning process such a fun experience. -

Dream come true!
Our wedding at the Sky Ranch Lodge was— without a doubt— the most incredible experience we have ever had! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, but the cherry on top are the people. We booked the venue about 6 weeks out and our coordinator was up for the challenge! Tiffany and her team did such a wonderful job making every detail just perfect. As the bride, I knew I didn’t have anything to worry about and could focus on the experience! Our wedding was a dream come true at the Sky Ranch Lodge! Absolutely recommend!!! -

It was perfect!
Our Wedding Day and everything leading up to it was perfect. I worked with Natalie up until the day before due to her family emergency which then I worked with Tiffany. They were both so nice, attentive, and helpful throughout the whole process. Minus a couple minor things that fell through the cracks due to the last minute coordinator change which was expected, we were so happy with how the day went! The views, the staff, and everything in between was so amazing and well worth it! -

I simply can’t even put into words how incredible this venue is. For starters, Tiffany L. was hands down the most amazing wedding coordinator I could have ever wished for. She was on top of EVERYTHING, she was so thorough in our meetings leading up to our big day, getting down to every little detail to make sure it was perfect and exactly the way we wanted. I can truthfully say SHE is the reason our day was as perfect as it was. Secondly, the rest of the staff was great. Set up was done perfectly, the bartenders were so much fun, break down staff had everything together in one spot, easy for us to grab the next day + left us no worries that night!
Third, the venue itself is absolutely STUNNING. Though the views were our top selling point, Sky Ranch’s packages were so inclusive in regard to $$ toward DJ/catering/floral, it saved us SO much money. -

WOW! I am so thankful and appreciative of the team at Sky Ranch Lodge. Shannon did an awesome job answering our questions before we decided which venue to go with and we are so happy we chose Sky Ranch Lodge to celebrate our special day!
Natalie was our Events Coordinator - she was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process! Planning a wedding in just a few months was very overwhelming, but Natalie always made sure we were taken care of! This really meant a lot and took a load off of my shoulders!
We want to thank the whole Sky Ranch team for making our wedding special and allowing us to start our journey as husband and wife with fond memories! We got to meet Rusty and his humor at the Sky Ranch bar the night before our wedding and he had some amazing complimentary popcorn on deck. We raved over it and he surprised us with some on our big day, which was so kind! John was also great and funny as well - thank you so so much for introducing us during our grand entrance! This really meant a ton! Natalie was truly special! I have nothing but love for her and all the hard work she put into our wedding! From the very start she displayed such great qualities and always offered her help - even the night before when I told her my necklace was left back home (which was out of town), she responded to me straight away and asked around her group of friends to help me find one! I didn’t expect that at all and I was moved by her kindness. Sky Ranch has such a wonderful team of people who make sure your day is special! It’s really the little things that make a big impact.
There was never a doubt at all that our big day was in good hands - with all that we experienced, the level of service exceeded our expectations. We were also taken aback by the beautiful view from the venue and our bridal suite.

I honestly don't know where to start writing this review because I just can't contain my happiness and excitement after having my dream wedding at Sky Ranch Lodge. I worked very closely with Shannon for almost 2 years planning our May 2022 wedding. She was an absolute rockstar! Incredibly attentive and kind and funny and bubbly and SO easy to work with. She is seriously every brides dream. Throughout the 2 years we have numerous zoom calls, email exchanges, texts, phone calls to plan our destination wedding and she made it so easy considering it was 2000 miles away! Aside from the iconic and breathtaking views of Sedona and the beautiful botanical and lush gardens Sky Ranch has to offer as a venue there is a whole lot more to it. Sky Ranch offers a number of rentals included and others you can upgrade to, a bridal suite right next to the venue which I can't even tell you how helpful that was to have, they provide bartenders, security and event coordinators your day of. Shannon again was just a superstar on the wedding day. Always checking in at the right time (never the wrong time) was on top of everything that was going down. I knew that she knew exactly what I wanted and she was taking care of everything. Most of the time without me even noticing. The bartending staff and all other support staff from Sky Ranch Lodge were such a joy to have at our wedding, even in the background. Everyone had smiles on their faces at all times and just made the atmosphere that much more merrier. Words just can't do this place and the people justics. I hope the pictures I'm including will convey how perfect of a day it was. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!! -

If I could rate Sky Ranch 10 stars I would
My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in Sedona because its such a special place to us. If you are familiar with Sedona, you KNOW the views are going to be amazing no matter where you are. We went to 4 venues, and the moment we walked onto sky ranches property we knew, this was the place we were going to get married. The views are just breathtaking. From the rooms, from the venue, to be honest everywhere on property, you are just left speechless. The hotel is walking distance from some AMAZING hikes, Mesa Grill (an amazing restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner), a wine bar with the best bartenders, a beautiful pool and botanical gardens with tons of seating and places to explore on property!
Where do I even start with Sky Ranch wedding staff?! If i could give them 10 stars I would!! These girls are seriously incredible. Ashley was our primary coordinator and she is an actual angel! She was there for us in every way possible. The amount of calls, emails, questions I had leading up to the big day was insane. She was ALWAYS there for us with no delay/hesitation. She was so helpful and gracious, she made the entire process leading up to the wedding so stress free!! Natalie and Shannon were also amazing, stepping in and helping if Ashley wasn't around!
The day of our wedding- I seriously can't rave ENOUGH! Ashley and Shannon made my dream wedding come true. The set up was PERFECTION! The entire day/ night ran SO smooth. They were checking in with me and my husband to see if we needed anything when we didn't even realize we needed anything! Feeding us, getting us coronas and water and sweets! They were just so supportive and helped in any way they could. Our wedding was April 23rd, and since that day we have heard from SO many guests that it was hands down best wedding they have ever gone too. My family is already talking about doing our next reunion at sky ranch! I could go on and on about this place and how perfect they are. If you are looking at booking sky ranch- DO IT. I can't name a SINGLE reason why you shouldn't. Natalie, Shannon, and especially Ashley- THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts- you made the best day of our lives even more special than we imagined! -

My husband and I had our wedding at the Sky Ranch Resort and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! The rustic cottages were perfect for our guests, the venue was gorgeous with the beautiful red rock landscape, it's literally centered around a true Botanical Garden, it's right next to the Airport and all the best hiking; and the venue coordinators were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond. They not only cleaned up after our Bridal Party lady's had made a mess of the to-be Newlywed Suite, but they also decorated it with flower petals and champagne.. It was absolutely the best day of our lives, and I'm beyond grateful for finding Sky Ranch for our memorable Big Day. We'll be visiting frequently for the years to come just to try re-live our spectacular day. We're obsessed with Sky Ranch to say the least. -

Amazing!
Where do I even begin with Sky Ranch Lodge? My experience with them was nothing short of amazing! My now husband and I the moment we were engaged knew Sedona was where we needed to be married and with the airport lookout being our favorite view there was only one spot we looked, Sky Ranch! We booked this venue for the view, but was provided the best wedding experience ever! The view from the venue site is gorgeous, the staff is INCREDIBLE, Shannon is absolutely amazing…they took my vision and brought it to life. I got married on 11/12/21, and I had zero, I repeat, ZERO stress going into my wedding and none day of because I knew Shannon and the team had it covered (and I was in the middle of nursing school so was a stress case about everything else in life!). The day of was the best day ever, nothing short of perfect, and I can’t thank Sky Ranch enough for that. Eric and I appreciate all of you!! -

Sky Ranch Lodge was so helpful with my wedding planning and always responded quickly to my many questions via email. They sent me photos of their chairs, tents, arches, etc. so I could more easily visualize my event. They were even very kind and helpful when we had to postpone our wedding due to covid19.
The only negative thing I have to say is that some of my guests complained that the staff were taking away their half-full glasses of wine while they were dancing (which is probably how we met our minimum at the bar so quickly). Not sure if this was intentional or just to keep on top of tidying. Either way, my experience with this venue was incredibly positive. -

SRL & Leora really gave us our dream wedding
We just had our wedding at SRL on 9/13/20 and we and our guests were totally blown away! It could not have been a better day. When we first viewed the venue, the view spoke for itself and coupled with the cozy reception area, we were sold. It is all outdoors, which is what we wanted. We started working with Leora a little bit after we booked the venue and she is was fantastic to work with. We had some concerns with the permanent tent that went up, as we booked it without it and wanted it open air, but she went above and beyond to make sure that we would have a fabulous wedding and ensure it would be gorgeous - and it was! Then when covid came along, she bent over backwards for us to ensure that we booked a new wedding date as we had to postpone. She responded to emails and calls so quickly, and really cared that this wedding would be our dream wedding. We really were so impressed with how she made us feel cared for, accommodated and honestly not just like another bride/groom - but more personal. When our wedding day came, it was FANTASTIC! Seriously we will never stop talking about this venue, nor will our guests - it was the most beautiful day at the most beautiful venue. In the evening, the twinkle lights in the tent were romantic and gorgeous, and the space was just perfect. We rented our ceremony chairs and farm tables from SRL and we're so happy we did because they really fit what we were looking for. Thank you Leora, and everyone at SRL for making our dream wedding real :) If they are available -- book it! You and your guests won't be disappointed! -

Breathtaking views, wonderful wedding!
Sky Ranch Lodge was a magical and stunning location to match our beautiful wedding day! We booked the location after having our breaths taken away from the view when visiting the lodge. I would argue that they have the best view in Sedona. We booked a March special which came with local vendors. This was perfect because it is a small town and it helps that everyone knows each other and has worked together, it made communication very stress free. When we had any questions arise, Bernadette and Angela would find us answers. The location is great and all of your guests can stay on the property, plus your furry friends which we loved! We rented the tent from Verve rentals per their recommendation which was perfect because it was cooler and the tent provided a warm eating and dancing area while still allowing the views of the stars. They also provide a shuttle which was great for transportation to the rehearsal dinner. I've read the previous reviews and I would definitely recommend having a wedding coordinator or at least a day of coordinator, because although they provide a lot of support a wedding is a big event and the more help, the less stress there is for the bride. All I can say is, on the big day the staff of Sky Ranch Lodge made mine and my husband's dreams come true and they had everything prepared for us. -

Our springtime wedding at Sky Ranch Lodge (SRL) was a magical experience and received rave reviews from our 100+ wedding guests. Our coordinator, Natalie, went above and beyond to ensure the wedding went off without a hitch and even took time to learn about our cultural heritage to more effectively incorporate Middle Eastern traditions into our ceremony and reception. We were so in love with the unparalleled red-rock views at SRL that we decided to host our newlywed brunch in the same pavilion where we held our reception the night before. Apart from losing some sleep due to an unsupportive mattress in our bridal suite, we were very satisfied with the experience and would recommend SRL (and Natalie) to other couples in a heartbeat! -

Beautiful wedding venue
We had a perfect day in November to get married and a beautiful location. Quiet and private, this place is a lovey venue. They just put up a permanent white tent by the bar/reception area and I wish it was clear instead of white as it makes the space feel smaller. I also wish liquor could be allowed to be served there (only wine/beer allowed) but the location is still beautiful and the staff were accommodating. Having guest lodging on site was also a nice plus for many of our guests. Thank you sky ranch lodge. -

Nicole Sent on 10/07/2015I just booked Sky Ranch Lodge for my wedding which will be April 16th, 2016. So far the experience has been positive. The venue usually books fast, but it has been a pleasure to work with Kris so far. She has answered all of my questions! She put me in contact with the main grounds person Jerry, who will be there on my wedding day. Jerry has also been wonderful to work with so far. He has been kind to ease my stress about the reception area layout for my seating plan. Blocking and booking rooms for my guests has been very easy as well. I originally gave 4 stars for responsiveness because it was a little difficult to get a response when I was just initially inquiring about pricing and availability. Now that we have a signed contract and the wedding planning has been rolling everything has been smooth so far. I am looking forward to my upcoming wedding in April! -

I love love loved having our wedding at Sky Ranch Lodge. The staff was fabulous and everything went off without a hitch! The only complaint I would have is that they changed the pricing on us after receiving our quote. The quote stated the price was valid for 30 days but in fact it was not and 2 weeks later were then over charged $2,000 more than quoted. We loved the venue so we paid the additional 2k but were never happy about that. This venue is still by far much less than most places in Sedona. The views alone were breathtaking and now that we have our photographs back all our friends think it was a backdrop curtain because it was so stunning! ha-ha being on top of that mountain and so close to the vortex was a beautiful experience. -

We got married here last November 8th of 2025. From the moment we stepped onto the property for our initial tour at Sky Ranch Lodge, we knew it was the place where we wanted to get married. The venue is absolutely breathtaking — the views make you feel like you’re in another world. The grounds are enchanting and quaint, and it was so special that many of our guests were able to stay right on the property for the celebration.
The rooms themselves are cozy, recently renovated, and stocked with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Many rooms sit right along the ridge with stunning views, which our guests loved. They also recently added a food truck–style stand on the property that serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, and late-night food — which was a huge hit with everyone staying there.
Another big selling point for us was the proximity to one of Sedona’s popular vortex spots just down the road. Because it was so close to the hotel, we were able to easily sneak away with our photographer and capture some truly breathtaking photos there.
As the bride and groom, we stayed in one of the two cottages on the property, which felt like a little apartment and was the perfect space to get ready with our bridal parties on the wedding day (as well as celebrating after the reception :). For weddings, they now offer an all-inclusive package with set pricing for the venue and a selection of vendors — all of whom were fantastic. This took a lot of the stress out of planning since we didn’t have to research and interview vendors ourselves. The package also included access to a large inventory of décor onsite, which was a great perk.
The package also includes a planning coordinator, and we had regular planning meetings via Zoom that became monthly as the wedding approached. Unfortunately, this was the one area where our experience fell a bit short. While the meetings themselves were productive, there were some hiccups during the actual event. We’re pretty go-with-the-flow people, so the small details didn’t ruin our day, but I can see how they might be frustrating for others.
For example, our coordinator arrived about 30 minutes late to the rehearsal the day before and seemed unsure about how to get everyone organized. I ended up initiating things to get the rehearsal started, which felt a little awkward. On the wedding day, while I was getting ready, she reached out to my maid of honors in a bit of a panic about the arches and our seating chart, saying she had never received it — even though I had emailed it to both her and the caterer about a month earlier. Because of that, a few seat assignments got mixed up and some tables received their plated dinners out of order. Thankfully everyone was just happy to be there celebrating, so it didn’t impact the overall joy of the night.
When we received our photos back later, I did notice that our welcome table and some other décor details weren’t set up quite how we had discussed or how I had shared in inspiration photos over the months leading up to the wedding.
That said, every other member of the wedding and hotel staff we interacted with was absolutely wonderful — especially Tiffany, who first gave us our tour and helped us fall in love with the venue in the first place.
A couple of logistical things future couples may want to be aware of: the hotel doesn’t offer discounted room blocks for weddings like many hotels do, and check-in times (typically around 3–4pm) can be tight if your ceremony starts around 4–5pm, which many do based on sunset timing. Some of our guests staying onsite had limited time to check in and get ready, though the staff were very kind and helped us work through it.
Another thing to note is that due to their liquor license they don’t serve hard liquor. They offer wine, beer, seltzers, Fireball shots (which were very popular!), Beatboxes, and pre-mixed margaritas. For us this actually worked out well because it kept the bar tab much more manageable, but it’s something couples may want to consider depending on their preferences.
Overall, our wedding day truly could not have been more beautiful, and we wouldn’t have wanted to celebrate it anywhere else. The setting is magical, the property is unique, and it created such a special experience for us and our guests. We’re already looking forward to coming back to Sky Ranch Lodge for anniversaries and special occasions for many years to come. -

Although we didn’t select SRL for our wedding venue it was a worthy contender and worth writing a review about! Our main reason for not booking with them is we exceeded their capacity but man the views are absolutely incredible! If you are looking for that red rock backdrop and more rustic setting this is the venue for you. Only “negative” is at this time (2019) they do not have a liquor license and therefore can only serve beer and wine - for some that is a nonissue but I feel worth mentioning. Rooms are being renovated and hands down cannot beat those views!
