The best “bus driver!”

DJ Skip Kelly told us he would be the bus driver of our celebration, and boy was he right. Our minds were at ease knowing Skip would guide us through our wedding reception. In the months leading up to the wedding (after postponing due to the pandemic), he met with us to go over everything, from must-play songs, to fun, touching tidbits about our loved ones to accompany our special dances. He also provided the music for our outdoor ceremony! Skip crafted the perfect itinerary to accommodate our vendors, set up awesome lighting, and ultimately guided us and our guests through a superb evening. We got so many compliments after our wedding about what a fantastic job he did. Would highly recommend. Thank you, Skip!

Skip helped made our wedding the wedding of our dreams! He entertained everyone the entire night and kept the party going non-stop! We couldn't have hired a better DJ! Skip Kelly was the BEST wedding DJ ever! We truly feel we made the best decision when we hired him as our wedding DJ. From the time we first met to the night of our wedding, Skip was extremely professional and courteous. He put a lot of time into preparing for our wedding and getting to know us. Not only did he create the amazing fun and casual wedding atmosphere we wanted, but he played all of our song requests as discussed before the wedding! Everything was perfect! We got so many compliments on the music and our guests had a blast!

I can’t begin to express how amazing Skip made our wedding. Not just did Skip bring complete ease to our souls during our planning process, but he was also seamless at the event. From children to grandparents, everyone ranted and raved about how amazing our Master of Ceremony was. Skip was perfectly spot on with timing for each song and the proper music to play. He truly made the event even more perfect than we ever imagined it would be. It is not often that a person receives multiple calls post an event asking for name of your DJ....we got those calls, many of them. THANKS SKIP FOR THE PERFECT EVENING!!!

Everyone raved about how amazing Skip was at our reception. From the first meeting Skip was incredibly professional yet down to earth. We had so many different options to personalize our reception to set it apart from other cookie cutter weddings. The music flowed and he played everything we wanted to hear. The timing of all the different events went flawlessly and were timed perfect throughout the night. He put a lot of time in from the first meeting through the planning and execution. He is the epitome of a master of ceremonies- funny, easy going, yet gets the crowd involved without being pushy. A true professional!

We absolutely love Skip! He has done at least 3 of our friends weddings, so when it came time to plan our wedding, we knew he was exactly what we wanted. When we first met with him, he told us a story about a previous wedding where he went back and told the chef that the salads on the tables did not look good and needed to be changed before the guest arrived at the reception. With that, and the fact that he had no problem taking control and being "Master of Ceremony," really excited us and we knew we were in good hands. I also recorded a short speech for my father daughter dance to surprise my dad, and needless to say it had my dad in tears. It was the perfect gift I could give my father who does not care for material things. Skip was amazing at our wedding reception, from dealing with the crazy venue owner, to the wedding party intros, to all the music played at the reception. Well worth it all!

There are not enough kind words I can say about Skip. I was a nervous wreck up until the morning of the wedding and he was there every step of the way. I even texted him at 6:30am the morning of the wedding and he responded within minutes! Skip and I remained in constant contact and he helped to make our wedding very family oriented. Everyone told me that they loved him and that he did an amazing job. Having someone with you every step of the way definitely helped. He was very organized and really listened to what my husband and I wanted. I highly recommend Skip if you are in need of a DJ.

Skip was incredible! We wanted to make sure our wedding DJ could help us blend both country music and pop/contemporary and make it feel natural. There's really no better choice than a man who has worked as a radio dj in both genres! Our wedding was the day after Hurricane Matthew hit and we knew he would be there no matter what. Skip was absolutely amazing to work with. He had amazing communications skills and always answered every question i had without hesitation but also with honesty which i greatly appreciated. He has a true talent for being able to get a feel for the room and knowing what gets people on the dance floor. He was dressed and presented himself very professional. You cannot go wrong with Skip! He's just amazing overall! He is there for you throughout the planning process. Beyond professional and organized, and created a wonderful evening of music and entertainment. Knows how to read the room on what people would want to hear, and had almost every song that was requested...even 'Let It Go' for my niece. He is not your typical obnoxious wedding dj...really takes the time to make your wedding personalized to you. Plus, it was kind of fun to hear guests ask, 'Isn't he on the radio?!' We cannot thank Skip enough for making our wedding reception so much fun!

I have to say that Skip Kelly is by far one of the greatest human beings ever. He helped me with so many things throughout the wedding process. He advised me on things that didn't even pertain to him in order to make sure I got the best value and service for everything I was looking for. He did the music for our ceremony and it was so perfect. Our reception was by far the best and most fun myself and the majority of our guests have been to. He kept everything moving, upbeat, personal and meaningful. Also, we didn't have a planner and really didn't need one because he kept to a schedule and made sure everyone stayed happy! I got his premium package that included the uplighting and it made the room so beautiful. So if you're on the fence about the lighting, I beg you to do it. All in al it was because of Skip that we had the most amazing day ever, I sincerely mean that. Congrats to the new brides reading this, I hope your day is as beautiful as mine was.

Skip was the best to work with. His interactive website made it easy to lay out our top music choices, do not play list, and everything in between - there are categories for decades, top 100, genres, and even what is popular with his other clients. In a sea of endless songs and different generations to please, that made all the difference so planning together was a breeze. He supported each of our choices enthusiastically (some of which were untraditional.. other people we interviewed tried to convince us to include all the dances, tosses, games, etc) and ensured we had the exact reception we envisioned. Day of he was timely, professional, kept to his detailed timeline we reviewed prior, and best of all he was so charming to us and our guests! Some people recognized him from his radio spot, and they even asked “OMG how did you get Skip Kelly?” which made us smile. Our guests were entertained and the dance floor was full until the end, it was everything we asked for & more!

I am so glad we chose Skip Kelly for our daughter's wedding. From our initial meeting to the day of event he was friendly, personable, and easy to work with. Skip makes himself available during the planning process and is responsive. His suggestions and expertise were spot on - I felt we were in very capable hands.
On the day of the wedding Skip was a true professional. He is a fantastic master of ceremonies and dj. All our guests commented how great he was. We had some unusual song requests and Skip was able to get us those songs and seamlessly incorporate them into our event.

Skip did a great job for us on one of the most important days of our lives. We didn't know exactly which direction to go in regards to picking a DJ for our wedding. What we were lucky enough to find in Skip was much more than that. Not only did he carry out the normal functions of a DJ but acted as a sort of "wedding planner" in helping us organize our entire wedding ceremony and reception in a very orderly and well thought out way. We had the ability to have one on one access with Skip on multiple occasions leading up to the wedding. This allowed us to go over everything from a detailed description of the entire wedding party, to our play list, the flow/order of the ceremony and reception, to the decor/theme of the big day. Skip reached and surpassed all of our expectations in a way that we are truly grateful for. I give him my 100% endorsement, and really urge you to give him a call if you need the perfect person for your big day.

Hands down Skip made our wedding the wedding of the year! We were a little hesitant about going above our budget for "the DJ" but you're not just getting a DJ. We Ultimately went with the highest package because Skip provided a photobooth (an ABSOLUTE hit!) And uplighting as well as DJ services. He has all sorts of amazing "extra" ideas that will make your wedding the talk of the town. He's incredibly talented and an absolute joy to have in your wedding planning process. We have been told by numerous people it was the best wedding they have ever been too. I attribute a lot of that to Skip!!!! Best choice we made out of the entire wedding selection process.

There is no other DJ like Skip Kelly. We decided he was the DJ for us when we at our friends wedding five years ago (long before we ever got engaged). When working with Skip, you will realize that you are working with someone who has the most experience in the business. He thinks of everything and has utilized all of his experience to bring little details to your attention that you never even thought of. He can read the mood of the crowd very well and also knows how to bring the emotional touch to reception that makes your day unforgettable for you and your guests! Skip made our day! He was amazing! Unlike other DJ's who only play a list of tunes you send, Skip manages the whole entertainment for the night. He was funny and kept the party going the whole night! He helped us plan our day several months ahead of time with some fun ideas and when everything took place at our reception, we had a blast. We got so many compliments from friends and family who said it was the best wedding and the most fun they'd ever had! He was recommended to us by 5 other couples we know, so we were pretty confident he would do an awesome job, and I think he exceeded our expectations.

Skip was AMAZING!! We hired him to do the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and he came through brilliantly! He had us fill out various forms to make sure he had every detail just as we wanted, and then he created a timeline for the reception that he and our day-of coordinator ran through beautifully. He had people up and dancing, and even those who weren't into dancing loved the music anyway. We also had uplighting around the room, which Skip is able to control, change the colors, and have dance to the beat of the music. He made the party a party, and we're thrilled! Everyone keeps commenting on how smoothly it all ran and how great the music was! I highly recommend Skip. He was also well priced for everything we had him do!

As the bride working with Skip, he was a fantastic DJ!
Anyone that has heard him on the radio can gather that his personality is perfect for a wedding; great personality, great voice, perfect timing on jokes- overall a great person to work with for such a big day.

We had so much feedback on the fun had in the photo booths and we have the best keepsake of the strips!

He is consistent and follows up after meeting with you. His planner makes preparing for the reception much less intimidating as well!
Highly recommend to any newly engaged couples seeking out the perfect DJ!

Skip provided the DJ and Photo Booth services for our son's wedding this past Saturday. He was more like a master of ceremonies than just a DJ. We thought he did a fantastic job and all the guests raved about him. The hit of the night was the photo booth he provided. Skip was a dream to work with. He is so organized and very professional. Leading up to the wedding we finalized all of our favorite songs we wanted played and he delivered! You don't realize how much of your reception relays on the entertainment. He made sure everyone was having a great time. I originally met Skip Kelly when I was looking at a possible venue. I called him soon after we met and it was one of the BEST wedding phone calls I made.
My fiancé and I met with him and we instantly knew he was the right DJ for us. I was having issues with the venue I had chosen and Skip came to the rescue! With all his knowledge, he made some wonderful suggestions and next thing you know our venue changed. His suggestion was wonderful and it turned out to be the perfect venue for us!
Skip was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and always responded to my emails/text messages in a timely manor. He was extremely organized and really helped me figure out how I wanted the ceremony and the reception to flow.
Day of the wedding he put my anxiety to ease! He was able to perform the sound for my outdoor ceremony as well as the indoor reception. His MC services were absolutely phenomenal. My fiancé and I thought we were going to play a game with our guests, but he pulled one over on us as well. He is funny and had the crowd pleased the entire time! I am still receiving compliments on my reception and DJ! I highly recommend Skip Kelly to everyone and I cannot wait to use his services again in the future!

I knew that I wanted people dancing at our wedding- and the DJ holds a big responsibility there... I'll be honest, I was nervous about choosing the right one...

I thought about hiring the type of DJ that the guys get on the floor with you and your guests- but the majority of them are younger, and I feared a lack of experience/professionalism. Someone recommended Skip, and I knew at our first meeting he was our guy.

He is lighthearted and funny- and also completely professional. I was put at ease instantly. He is easy to work with, extremely organized, and our guests had a GREAT time :) We got feedback that our wedding was the best that some had ever been to. Skip had a huge role in that. We had a BLAST!!

Working with Skip was amazing. Our first meeting was a fantastic face-to-face meeting where he really get to know my fiance & I as a couple. He also took this opportunity to go over all the services he provides. Then he showed us this incredibly professional, detailed packet that basically walks you through your wedding & reception minute by minute, allowing you to customize every aspect of your event until your wedding is uniquely yours.
After our meeting, Skip insisted we wait to sign a contract until we had slept on our decision. My husband was sold on the packet alone, so we contacted him the next day. Between that first meeting & the next, I sent many emails to Skip - all of which he responded to quickly & thoughtfully. He always made sure I felt like my wedding was very important to him. At no time did he make me feel like I was bothering him. We met again about a month before the wedding to cement major details, while still leaving room for any necessary adjustments.
During our ceremony, the music flowed beautifully from one song to the next. In spite of the strange location he needed to be in for the music to work, he managed to make it seem effortless. He also managed to start our reception almost immediately after our ceremony, which is exactly what we wanted(we skipped cocktail hour).
As for the reception, our guests were literally dancing all night. More than once a guest came to say good night, only to interrupt themselves with "I love this song!" & head back on to the dance floor for "just one more". More than that, due to a few weird timing issues (due to my & venue scheduling), Skip had to adjust our plan a throughout the night. While my husband & I knew there were changes, our guests never had a clue. The fun never stopped, the energy never ebbed & everyone had an amazing time. At least 95% of that was due to Skip (I have to give the open bar a little credit ;)).

Hands down Skip Kelly is the best! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to hire a DJ for their event. He handled our daughter's wedding with such grace...Everything was perfect. Skip was truly the MASTER of ceremonies!!! His manner was completely relaxed and professional. He not only kept the anxious bride calm, he also made the guests feel totally at ease. Skip ran the whole reception with style and a sense of fun that only the best of the best could accomplish.

It was my one main job as groom to pick the DJ – talk about pressure! We had heard incredible things about skip which made our choice seem a bit easier. From the moment we met him to talk about what we wanted we could tell he was the one we would pick. He carries himself extremely well and is very prepared even through adversity – he accidently brought the wrong briefcase to our initial meeting and still was able to impress the socks off of us.

Skip came up with things to recommend to us that we would have never even thought of like his newly-wed game. He was integral in helping plan the timing of the reception and helped make sure we accomplished everything we wanted to. The introductions he had for the bridal party at the reception set a great tone for the rest of the evening. His goal was for us and our guests to have the time of our lives and he certainly did not let us down.

I wish I could find a way to make sure that Skip was everyone’s DJ because I would do it. I feel that he was such a critical part of making our wedding such a blast and we are grateful that he was part of it.

We had originally hired Skip for his photobooth, but after exchanging numerous emails and meeting a couple of times, we both decided that we wanted him to also be the DJ for our wedding! We are so happy that we did because WE COULD NOT BE ANYMORE SATISFIED! He had the entire room dancing and laughing -- even my "no-nonsense" father who I've never seen dance in my entire life was on the dance floor busting a move! He played every song we requested -- even the most obscure, difficult to find ones! Everyone was literally on the dance floor, young and old. He was so professional the entire time and his sense of humor had everyone in an uproar!

The photobooth was definitely the biggest hit of the night. His machine was one of the nicest ones I've ever seen. Our guests were able to choose between "color photos" or "black & white" and Skip provided all the hilarious props for our guests to use. Two strips printed out immediately and the images were vibrant and sharp. His awesome son made sure to put one strip in our guest book and our guests were able to keep the other one. What an awesome keepsake! On the bottom of the strip, Skip put our names and our wedding date on there -- he even made sure the border of the strips were our wedding colors!

All in all, I would 100% recommend Skip Kelly for his DJ services and his photobooth. I will definitely use him again the next time I have a party -- his prices are extremely fair and his services were exceptional!

Skip provided exceptional service for a 50th birthday party this past weekend. He met with us prior to the party to address any needs or concerns we had. He told us what to expect of a Friday evening event and all his predictions came true. He kept the crowd entertained from the moment they arrived until the last guest left. He played music to satisfy all the fifty somethings in the room as well as the teens. One teen wants to use him for her upcoming sweet sixteen party! Skip is the best wedding DJ of all time. Easy to get a hold of, met with us a number of times, very flexible, completely catered the package to our specific needs. He gave us a package of information that literally asked us SO many questions to figure out what details we wanted to have and what things were not so important. He also gives a document to fill out that lists songs that you and your friends or family like to hear. He asked us what type of "feel" we wanted at our wedding, we told him we wanted it to be fun, like a night club and EVERYONE danced....and I mean EVERYONE. There is no better DJ!

After looking at all of the ads for DJ services for our reception and becoming a little afraid in the process we found perfection in Skip Kelly and his son Tyler.

Professionalism prevailed at all times in addition to a fun and laid back tone and atmosphere.

We were very happy with the way our wedding reception turned out. We couldn't have had a better party or a better DJ. I don't think there was any moment where the dance floor was empty and having a crowd of primarily older people that is an accomplishment. We have received nothing but compliments on our wedding and reception and Skip and Tyler made our reception a truly fun and cherished event.

I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better DJ out there.

We could not have asked for a better DJ. Skip adapted the music in both the ceremony and reception perfectly for our non-traditional wedding. A tragedy early in the day affected us and our guests. We decided to go ahead with the wedding but explained what had happened to Skip. He kept the music relaxed and low key to begin with but still allowed us to kick up our heels towards the end. He knew how to read the crowd, and that is what made it a truly memorable wedding.

Magical,Amazing,Fantastic, Fun and carefree Wedding, Skip was a pleasure to work with and had the best blend of music. The floor was full all evening with people dancing and enjoying their time out! He is very handsome talented, and has a great voice........ A delight to work with.

To all Brides/Grooms that are searching for a Professional, Personable and EXPERIENCED DJ out there, I highly reccommend Skip Kelly, during my planning phase for my wedding, I did a lot of research, just like everyother bride/groom out there, I can honestly say, Skip and his son ( Tyler) were a BLAST and SO PROFESSIONAL!!! Skip Kelly was exceptional! Starting with our initial consultation all the way to our farewell song, Skip provided us with the guidance and know how only years of experience and many wedding venues can provide. There are so many details my wife and I had never even thought of. Skip took the ideas we had and helped fill in the gaps where we had no ideas. Now that the wedding is over, I could not imagine the added stress there would have been for my wife and I if we did not have a DJ who we had complete confidence in. Our guests are still talking about how great the DJ was and how much fun they had at our wedding.

Best DJ Ever! Hope to see him at all DJed events we attend!!!

Not only was Skip a pleasure to work but he also made sure our wedding went off without a hiccup. Skip is a professional and it shows through in his work. Every bit of Skips experience shines through as does all the efforts he puts in for your personalized special day! Not only does Skip get rave reviews from myself and my husband, but also every guest, family, friends, the venue, and even other vendors we have talked to since the wedding all hoped they get to work with Skip again! In all my only hope is that Skip is DJing all the weddings I go to from here out. I certainly will pass his name along to everyone I know!!!!!

Our Venue/Experience
We chose Skip to play the music for our wedding outside and used the wireless setup system for the mic for the officiant. We also used Skip for our reception. I asked Skip to help make this the party of a lifetime (no pressure, right?) and he came through in every way!!!! Prior to the wedding Skip sits down with you and explains everything and gives you a detailed packet to fill out with all of your wedding songs, important things, items and people to be included, excluded, highlighted, special memories, wedding fun, etc...He also has the knowledge and knowhow to assist you with anything you have questions on! Then after meeting (at the bride/grooms convenience) a couple of times Skip puts together an awesome timeline to help guide you and your venue through the night. The rest is a memory you will carry with you forever!

Skip Kelly was the absolute best! I can't you how thankful we were to have him at our wedding. He was very thorough in his preparation for the event and at the reception he made it fun and personal. You can't ask for anything more. The bottom line is simple: the dance floor was packed! You'll get that with Skip Kelly.

I would not hesitate to refer Skip Kelly to any friend for their special function, whatever the occasion. He is fun, articulate, creative, knowledgeable about music of all genres and dependable. We referred his services to a friend a year following our event and he was just as amazing and fun. Skip is a joy to work with, even in the planning stages.

We couldn't have made a better decision on a DJ for our wedding. The entire experience from the initial meeting, planning, and of course the wedding day was flawless and professional. Skip's planning makes the entire experience customized to your specific needs or wants. Also, with all of the information he gathers using his pre-event questionnaire it feels like he has known you and your family all of your lives. His preparation gives a personal touch to the event and Mr. Kelly is a true professional!

Skip was amazing! He offered some great suggestions and accomadated every request I had even when we changed our songs 100 times. I love hearing him on the radio and then thinking that guy did our wedding. Truely a great guy and dj to have for any occasion.

Skip was FANTASTIC... he ran the show keeping the reception exciting and moving.. The music was a perfect mix for all.. The activities that he placed into the process of the night were amazing and the guests love it.!!!!! I highly highly recommend him for your next event. A very important element of a weeding ceremony and reception is your DJ.. This is the man for your event. All was perfect....

Skip Kelly was the BEST DJ EVER for my wedding. He also was a DJ for my 2 best friends and we wouldn't have wanted any other way! He's so personable and caring. I work for a hotel and I have seen so many DJ's and he is by far the best out there! Any Bride would be SO lucky to have him be a part of your day!

From my initial meeting with Skip Kelly I knew he was the type of DJ we wanted for our wedding!! My feelings were 100% right when my then fiancé met Skip and felt the exact same way!! Skip put so much time and effort into making sure our wedding day was smooth and under control. From our ceremony music to his outstanding DJ services (he even asked us how to pronounce our wedding party names)!! He is not the traditional DJ, he is truly extraordinary!!!! Everyone I know that is getting married I ALWAYS refer them to Skip Kelly!!!! If I could give more than a 5.0 I most definitely would!!! Check him out for sure!!!!!!!

Skip did an amazing job on our wedding from planning to exeuction!! Everyone had a blast and he kept the whole night entertaining from start to finish. Skip also offers some unique personalized options to cater to what you want in your wedding. It's been over 6 years since our wedding. One of the things we will never forget is how wonderful our DJ Skip Kelly was. I still recommend him to future brides and grooms. He made our wedding very enjoyable, and really knew how to cater to our friends all the way up to our relatives in their 80's. If you are looking for quality, someone professional and fun, then Skip Kelly would definitely be the DJ for you.

Skip Kelly Entertainment was incredible. Skip was great! He is very charismatic which makes a big difference. He was excellent, professional, and super funny. So much better than any of the other DJ's I had considered. I would definitely recommend him to everyone! He was fun and I felt that he really got to know my husband and I, as well as our family! He made my Father Daughter dance so special and I will remember that for the rest of my life! I will definitely use him again for any other special events I have.

Amazing DJ! Really personalizes your wedding and works with your specific needs! He did 2 of my other friends wedding and did great at all our events! All my guests could not stop talking about how great our DJ was and wanted them to do their weddings! Highly recommended!!!

I used Skip Kelly in 2011 for my wedding and he was amazing. Skip Kelly worked with us before the wedding to create a personalized and unique experience. He will go above and beyond what you expect to make your event wonderful. It was thanks to Skip Kelly that at my wedding there were many tears of joy. Skip Kelly did a fantastic job as the DJ for our wedding reception. Prior to the event, he was a pleasure to work with and very professional and organized. We got so many compliments from our guests about him as his music selections were appropriate throughout the entire evening and everyone had such a great time. I was so lucky to find Skip Kelly when I was searching for a wedding DJ. I wanted someone to create a party, not set up a playlist I had given them. I had seen Skip perform at a friends wedding, and I knew that I wanted him for our wedding, July 9th. Skip provided an excellent service right from the first point of contact - he's friendly, warm and professional. He kept in touch throughout the months before the wedding and I could tell he really cared that we wanted our day to be perfect and special. And it was! We started the party right after dinner and he got my friends and family on the dance floor straight away. My friends have commented that often they like a break from dancing but Skip kept playing amazing tune after amazing tune and they just couldn't drag themselves away. Skip kept building the party until exactly the right point and it ended in an almighty crescendo! We have already recommended you to some friends who are getting married next May. Thank you for helping to make our day perfect, Skip - can't wait for you to DJ for us again!

What a wonderful DJ ! Skip did my Daughter's wedding and he was just so delightful to work with . Skip took all the stress out of planning our reception. His suggestions for the flow of the evening showed that he came to us with confidence and experience. Our guest's requests were accommodated, too. Eight years later, we are still being reminded amongst family that our reception set the barre.

I've worked with Skip for over 10 years and HIGHLY recommend him to all brides and grooms.

What I love the most is Skips genuine caring nature. He actually listens to his brides requests and he is by far the most organized and experienced DJ out there! I've seen him very successfully "work" parties that needed "help" to get started, and I've seen him DJ "party people" receptions and whether the party needed help to get started or everyone's been partying for hours before the reception even starts, he keeps everyone dancing and having fun throughout the night! He interacts with everyone, guests AND other vendors in the most professional and competent manner and is always a pleasure to work with!
