  I have been a client of Sizzor Shak for over 10 years, and have always loved the quality of service and friendliness of the staff. They are always very welcoming when you walk in the door. Myself, the Matron of Honor, bridesmaids, flower girl and both mothers all had their hair and makeup down at Sizzor Shak and they did an amazing job as always! Everyone loved their looks and looked absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a quality salon with quality service, Sizzor Shaknis the place to go!

  Sizzor Shak is a fantastic salon. Michelle is my usual make up and hair stylist and I always leave happy! We did a trial run of my hair before the big day which put me at ease--and then ON the big day she made me look just as great.
  
  The staff and other stylists are friendly and professional. The owner and her husband are constantly updating the salon to bring the best they can to their customers. I would definitely recommend this salon to a bride.

  I had a fantastic experience. I decided I didn't like my trial hair and came in with no idea what I wanted on the day of my wedding. Not only did they come with something on the spot, they did a fantastic job. They were also able to accommodate my matron of honor without an appointment. My make up was flawless. My hair was from a fairytale and I felt like a princess on my special day.

  My Bridesmaids, Mothers, and I went to sizzor shak for our makeup and hair! Melissa did my hair and makeup and it turned out better than I ever expected it to! She did awesome and I got compliments all night long! All of the other girls that came with me also ended up looking more gorgeous than they already are. :) There were 9 of us that came in and we were out of there in a very timely manner! They were great to work with and I HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you Melissa and all of the other girls that helped make my day special!

  The makeup looked great and it stayed on all night threw tears and breakdowns! I would recommend her to anybody looking to get their makeup done for any event.

  These girls got us in and out without a glitch. Everyone looked beautiful with their airbrush make up and their hair was astonishing! I am completely impressed with these ladies!

  Don't let the name of the salon or the spelling deter you! I had reservations because of the spelling alone, and I always have my hair done at a high end salon in St. Louis, so I was initially very skeptical about having my hair done in a little town across the river- but the Sizzor Shak greatly exceeded expectations and performed beautifully at a greatly reduced cost compared to what I'm used to paying in the city. I had a large wedding party- 15 total, and in addition, two girls who had previously told me that they did NOT want their hair done decided to show up to get their hair done the day of the wedding. We selected Sizzor Shak because they specialize in large wedding parties, but the staff was able to fit them in AND keep me calm- which I felt was incredibly impressive. A girl named Mellissa did my hair and makeup- which was airbrushed and which I would recommend because it stayed on ALL day long, flawlessly- and she did a phenomenal job. I received SO many compliments regarding my hair and the timeless quality of it. My hair took a lot of work and she made it look classy and beautiful. The only issue for me was that two bridal parties were scheduled within an hour and a half of each other, and it seemed like the staff felt a little overwhelmed and rushed, which did concern me and the other bridesmaids. Other than that, the staff did a great job with the girl's hair and makeup and the staff was all very professional and very receptive to feedback. Two of the girls required tattoo coverup, which was pricey, and didn't seem to actually cover up the tattoos or blend with the rest of thier skin. Overall, I was impressed at the ability to handle a large volume of people and very impressed and appreciative of the end product. The girls looked gorgeous and the groom said that I never looked more beautiful! A huge thanks to them all- they did a wonderful job.

  The ladies here were extremely friendly. They worked in an extra appointment for make-up for us. The make-up there was awesome. They did an airbrush foundation that stayed on and flawless all day. Our hair turned out perfect and everyone loved them. I've been going there to get my hair done for about 10 years and have never had any problems or disasters.
