Trisha was an absolute pleasure to work with! We desperately needed chair covers for our wedding at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park and Sitting Pretty had the perfect custom covers already to go. They were right in our price range and they even came highly recommended from FMG themselves. The setup and takedown processes were very smooth and the room looked perfect for our big day. Couldn't be happier with their services; highly recommend!

Trisha was absolutely awesome to work with! Her table linens and chair covers made our wedding incredibly beautiful! She was very professional, friendly and accommodating throughout the planning process and I would HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone getting married in the Grand Rapids area!

Hiring sitting pretty was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. They have a great selection and even bought a few things to cater to what I had in mind. The decode they brought in was both stunning and very reasonably priced. Trish was wonderful to work with. She responded very quickly to questions and other emails, was more than happy to help in any way that she could and very obviously passionate about what she does. I am so happy that I found her and would highly recommend her.

Everything was great! Her willingness to do whatever we wanted. Trish and Sitting Pretty didn't limit us to any color and there were numerous bows to chooose from. We loved her examples she showed us as well. I would book her for any of my future events.

Trish was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was quick to respond and extremely flexible throughout our wedding planning process. We had a last minute change, and she was nothing but accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Our reception looked beautiful!

We were so pleased with all of the decor from Sitting Pretty. Trish gave me many options and really listened to the vision I had for my day. Our guests were very impressed and the chair covers were a perfect fit for the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids. I would highly recommend brides and grooms to book with Sitting Pretty!

My sister rented Sitting Pretty chair covers for her wedding and after having an amazing experience with them, it was an easy decision when I needed them for my wedding! Trisha is great to work with, offered ideas, and was very flexible. The chair covers were in great condition and were easy to put on. The chair covers made my wedding looked classy and elegant which is exactly what I was going for. Highly recommend this company!

I loved working with Trisha! She was very prompt with her quote and responsive to the change in guests for the reception. Her work is beautiful! She turned a regular plastic stacking chair into a elegant seat. I would utilize her service again and highly recommend her to anyone.

We had our reception at the watermark country club. Although the watermark is a beautiful venue on its own, what Trisha did to the venue was outstanding! We added chair covers and bling to the head table. The room was absolutely gorgeous after Trisha added her touch. I would absolutely recommend working with Trisha and spending just a little extra for so much in return.

The chair covers and sashes were beautiful. The material was clean, smelled like it had been freshly washed and worked perfectly on the venue's chairs. It made a world of difference to take my wedding to the next level.

Trish was amazing and had so many options to choose from! It was great to have her meet me at my venue after work to see what options would look best. On the day of, she and her team had everything set up just how we wanted it and they cleaned up at the end of the night.

Trisha at Sitting Pretty was amazing! I emailed her about a month before my wedding and she made room for my event. She was easy to get into contact with and answered all of my questions. She was very flexible and easy to work with. She also made suggestions that made my reception very sparkly, which is what i wanted. Every thing was beautiful! I received so many compliments on the decorations. The crazy part is I never met her or spoke to her over the phone. She made my reception look amazing just by communicating with me via email! I will be recommending her to friends.

Flawless execution! I was not there for any of the actual work - set up, transfer from the ceremony location to the reception - but there were no issues and the chair covers were beautiful. She is the only vendor that provides the chair covers for the style of chairs at the Bissell treehouse.

I am so happy we decided to ask Sitting Pretty to help us "sit pretty" at our wedding. The tables and chairs looked gorgeous thanks to Trisha. Trisha is such a kind-hearted person. She is very organized and helpful. I never had to worry about the chairs, and she even met with us before the wedding to show us different covers, ribbons, colors, etc. Trisha let me add some extra chair covers on the outdoor patio the night before the wedding even though it meant she had to make an extra trip the next next morning. We absolutely loved working with Trisha... She was easy to talk to, patient and very responsive, which was essential to us since we live on the East Coast and hence had to plan almost everything remotely... She took pains to photograph her decor ideas and items to share with us over email... She even snail-mailed us samples of the table-runners since we couldn't quite decide on the color and material from the pictures...

Our reception venue looked marvelous (if we could say so ourselves :P). Trisha had it all set up and ready to go by the time we reached the reception venue after our ceremony.

After much research, we selected Trisha from Sitting Pretty based on price and passion. We searched for vendors that loved what they do, not someone that it was just their job. Trisha is very pleasant, quick to respond, and accommodating if she doesn't have something you would like. Our reception was one of the first she had done and Noto's and it went very smoothly from what I know at least, and that's all that matters right? :) Trisha's team had the room set up long before the event and took down right after. It was nice to not have to coordinate any of that. I would definitely recommend her services!

Trisha is good value, knows what she's doing and does exactly what she says she'll do in a timely professional manner. We were thrilled with the chair covers and bows that she did for us at our wedding reception venue. The chair covers and bows made the room look amazing. It really wouldn't have been the same without these. Trisha was very pleasant to deal with, flexible when numbers changed and has a calmness about her that in the midst of pre-wedding stress is an additional wonderful asset.
We would recommend sitting pretty without hesitation.

Trisha's chair covers, table runners, and bows made all the difference between a lovely event and a stunning one. Really put the finishing touch on it. Be sure to ask her about the gorgeous table covering for the wedding cake/s. Trish was wonderful -- calm, professional, and a pleasure. She was more than willing to do whatever it took to make our day one to remember. She was more than accommodating with everything and had the best prices around! The spandex chair covers made my venue look unrecognizable. I couldn't be more happy with Sitting Pretty and will recommend her to everyone. She really went out of her way to make our wedding look gorgeous! Kudos to Trisha and her wonderful company!

Trisha was great to work with for our chair covers and sashes. Her prices were hard to beat (and i did a lot of research). Tricia at Sitting Pretty provided the linens for my daughter's wedding reception. She was great to work with! Her e-mail response time was unbelievably fast. We were even able to look at some of our linen options by e-mail which really helped give us a chance to decide what we wanted to do. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was just the way we wanted and made an extra trip to our venue to ensure everything would work out well.

Trisha and her staff pulled together a beautiful and elegant room for my daughter Michelle and her new husband Mikes wedding at the Riverfront Radisson. So many compliments on how finished the fit chair covers and matching table runners pulled together and completed the look we were after.
She was prompt in setting up, very friendly and prompt in pick up. I would certainly use her again.

We worked with Trisha at Sitting Pretty for our chair covers at the Bissell Tree House. The covers looked wonderful. Trisha was very flexible and pleasant to work with. I found out that she started doing a flower type knot on her chair covers and went with it for the wedding. They turned out beautiful!

Trish at Sitting Pretty was a valuable resource to helping me plan for my wedding. I located her through a Michigan bridal magazine because I was in need of renting some cover chairs and sashes. This was difficult to navigate for me as I was currently living down in the Washington D.C. area. Trish not only sent me samples through the mail and called me to answer any questions, but she also called around to see if there were better deals for me that were closer to my location. All I can say is WOW, Trisha really knocked it out of the park with this one! She completely transformed our reception with her beautiful chair covers, sashes, table covers and charger plates. She gave great advise and even helped me nail down a color scheme at our first meeting. I did take away one star under professionalism just because she was quite a bit late to our first meeting but overall I am so happy with her final product and would and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone

After a recommendation from my venue, I used "Sitting Pretty" to provide chair covers and bows for my reception. This is a mixed review, because while I was thrilled with the final product, I was so frustrated dealing with Trisha that I wanted to scrap the whole thing. Unfortunately, my venue had difficult to fit chairs which limited my choices- had I had more options available, I would have gone elsewhere.

The big issue was communication. The Sitting Pretty website has no color samples, just some examples of chairs they have covered. I was very specific in the colors that I needed during my MULTIPLE communications, and somehow that was just repeatedly getting lost on Trisha. She first send me completely different colors to look at...I'm not talking about a different shade, but fully different colors- Imagine asking for yellow and you get pictures of orange, for example. When I told her what the tuxes were and even sent pictures, she still did not get the correct colors. It took over a dozen emails and 6+ phone calls to get the right item. I became so frustrated by it that it ended up being the one item I forced on the groom, because I simply could not keep going around and around with her and not getting a result.

The other communication issue was that she would say that she was going to email back that night or the next day, and it would be sometimes 3-5 days before she got me a response, and the majority of those responses were only after I sent a reminder email. There was always an excuse with that, but as a customer I am not paying to hear that you had a long day (actual excuse in one email for not getting me the photos promised by the time promised...or by 3 days later), I'm paying for a service.

After that, I was very worried about the quality of the product, but it was truly beautiful when the chairs were covered. The colors ended up being perfect, the fabric was high quality, and they truly pulled together the look of my wedding.
