Beautiful Room Decor

We used Sitting Pretty for draping and lighting at the Doubletree downtown. The room was perfect, and all it took was a few emails. Everything just happened seamlessly without having to worry or think about. Highly recommend!

Sitting Pretty Décor provided pipe and drape services for my wedding and they did a beautiful job. Jennifer was so professional and easy to work with. She listened to what my husband and I envisioned for our special day and when we arrived at the venue it had been completely transformed to an elegant space. They did ceiling draping and back draping with twinkle lights and worked around some challenges with the way the room was built. I would highly recommend Sitting Pretty.

I was very pleased with Jennifer and Sitting Pretty who decorated Harriet Island Pavilion for my son's wedding on January 6, 2018. When I first saw the Pavilion I was a little skeptical about it as an all inclusive venue for his wedding, reception, dinner and dance but I was completely awestruck by the transformation after Jennifer and her crew had decorated it. The first time I walked into the Pavilion after it had been decorated it took my breath away. We received so many compliments all night long on how beautiful and sophisticated everything looked!

The other thing that I appreciated was that Jennifer was so easy to work with. We made some additions very close to the wedding date and she was very responsive and timely with all of my requests. I also asked for her opinion on decorating an elevator that was an eye sore for me and she came up with some creative and elegant ideas which were not costly. I would not hesitate to recommend Sitting Pretty to anyone as they made my son and his wife's wedding as beautiful and elegant as they had envisioned it to be.

I was thrilled with Sitting Pretty Décor! To do draping from my venue was incredibly expensive and I knew I didn't need the whole ceiling but wanted a splash of white/pretty light behind our head table so I reached out to Jennifer who knew exactly what I wanted for a much more reasonable price. I was able to venmo her payment and I actually never spoke to her or her team in person (which I think is a testament to their efficiency and professionalism!) When we walked through our dining hall in the afternoon it was up and when we were out on the dance floor at 11 pm, somehow they snuck in and quietly took it down without disruption. Guests used our backdrop for photos and it really brought everything together. Cant say enough good things about this vendor and their work!

Jennifer was just phenomenal to work with. She is very punctual with getting back to you via email. If you aren't sure exactly what you want she is more than willing to help you create what you envision for your wedding. Everyone loved my backdrop that she had done. Anyone would be lucky to have Sitting Pretty decorate for their wedding.

Jennifer and her team at Sitting Pretty were absolutely amazing! They were one of our favorite vendors to work with. They went out of their way to make our hall look stunning for the wedding day. They were on time, professional, priced great, and couldn't have asked for a better decor company! I would highly recommend them!!

Jennifer was very sweet, talented, and knowledgeable of her work. She always responded to my questions and ideas in a timely manner. My reception was decorated the exact same way as the picture I showed I showed her. Jennifer and Sitting Pretty7 Décor did the drapery, chair covers and chair bows for our daughter's wedding. Everything was perfect! Her staff was in even before schedule working with the venue directly to get everything set up so the tables wouldn't have to be moved. They were back that night to take down and it was just as smooth and efficient! I highly recommend Jennifer and Sitting Pretty Décor! She was professional and efficient from the very first meeting and wonderful to work with for our project! Thank you so very much!!

From someone with major control issues, I was able to put all of my trust into this team to make my ceremony as beautiful as it was. My daughter held her wedding reception at the Downtown St. Paul Double Tree Hilton last Saturday. The Atrium there is very large with a very high ceiling. Jennifer from Sitting Pretty provided beautiful draping and lights (within the draping) to make the venue gorgeous and welcoming. She also placed a beautiful backdrop behind the bride and groom head table. A ballroom was also adorned with draping and lights. Many of our guests raved about the decor, particularly the ceiling draping. We could not have asked for more! I highly recommend this company-professional, perfectionist,reliable and reasonable (cost).

Draping companies are hard to find. There are numerous out there, but there wasn't another company that could compare with the quality and price. Amazing company to work with beforehand, and the work they did was beyond what we were expecting. Do not look any further.

Honestly if you're looking for someone to do drapery or lighting for your wedding look no further! We had our wedding reception at the Eagan community center and Jennifer completely transformed the place. She was very affordable and incredibly easy to talk with and coordinate since we were nothing living out of state. I cannot even count how many compliments we received about how amazing the venue looked. She transformed the entire room. We also had her set up a special lighting design behind the head table and it turned out amazing. We even had the community centers event coordinator come to us personally and tell us how amazing the room looked!!! We can't thank Jennifer enough for making our wedding day so special. You will not be disappointed to choose her for your wedding!

Jennifer was outstanding to work with!! She was quick to respond to my emails, and come on fellow brides- you know how we can get with the emails :) Jennifer kept me in the loop at all times when she would correspond with the venue event planner. She even came to set up on Thursday to make sure it was ready for the weekend!!
The draping looked STUNNING!! Even my husband was blown away by the transformation of the venue. He said "I'm so glad we invested the money in the draping, it MAKES the room!" Wow! He didn't say that about any other service!
Thank you Jennifer for making our venue look amazing!! I couldn't have been a more satisfied customer! Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Sitting pretty decor was great to work with! Jennifer always got back to us in a timely manner and was extremely helpful! The last week up until the wedding, she contacted our venue to set up with them what time our lights and drapping would be hung and then contacted me to keep me in the loop. They had everything done before we decorated the hall, which made it easy for us! The work they did was phenomenal! We loved the drapping and lights! We couldn't have asked for a better vendor for this part of our reception! Jennifer even sent me an email stating they were complete with their set, which left me street free and never wondering if it was done. :) I would use this company again!

Jennifer was GREAT to work with! She was responsive to all my emails/questions and was very accommodating! Once we booked with her, she worked directly with our venue coordinator to coordinate setup and breakdown (one less thing for a bride to do!). I had ceiling draping and staging backdrop done and both were done so beautifully, I received a lot of compliments. Overall, would highly recommend! I had a FABULOUS experience with Sitting Pretty Decor. Jennifer was amazing! She answered all of my questions, and price-matched another quote I had. She was attentive to details and delivered above and beyond expectations! I walked into the ballroom and was speechless. Jennifer did our draping at the Bloomington Crowne Plaza Aire Hotel. She was so wonderful to work with. We had changed our minds on what we wanted multiple times and the finished product was amazing. I absolutely LOVED working with Jennifer!! I wanted a custom backdrop that they had never done before (vertical hanging twinkle lights behind a 36 foot backdrop). Jennifer was quick to respond with pricing & availability of this option. In addition we also had ceiling draping and chair covers. We received countless compliments on the decor of our wedding and the room looked absolutely amazing. Before deciding on which centerpieces I wanted to go with for sure for my reception, Jennifer offered to drop the ones I was looking at off at my house and even let me have them for a week and even picked them up when I had decided. She was super flexible and very easy to get a hold of with any questions. I had millions of questions and every time they were answered right away, same day. I HIGHLY recommend Sitting Pretty Decor and my guests were VERY impressed with the gorgeous centerpieces!!!! It was also comforting to know she had decorated at my venue many many times and knew the staff/management very well and came to me highly recommended. I pass on the A++ rating:)

Jennifer transformed a boring ballroom into a beautiful and intimate setting perfect for a wedding. She was very easy to work with, went over every detail with me, and did absolutely wonderful work. The night wouldn't have been the same without her special touch.

Jennifer was amazing! We first saw her work at a tasting for our reception location. We were very impressed and decided we wanted ceiling draping and chair sashes (chair covers were included by hotel). We checked out her prices compared to big vendors and she was the best value. On top of her value - every time I e-mailed her she was prompt, professional and real. She even sent out samples of colors before we had even signed with her - so accommodating! I would recommend her work to anyone! I promise if you check her out- you will choose her! She just gets it! =)

Jennifer was very easy to work with and the Eagan Community Oak Ballroom looked beautiful! She used white draping with twinklly lights.

Sitting Pretty turned my reception venue into a fairy tail...I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful decor for the reception. Price negotiation was accomadated, military discount was offered, and we DEFINATELY got what we paid for. I would recommend Sitting Pretty to ANYONE requiring decorations for their event. Took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. Of my 160+ guests, the majority said it was the classiest, most beautiful and wonderful wedding they had ever been to. Thank you Sitting Pretty!

I contacted Jennifer very close to my event date after another vendor fell through and she was able to provide me with 250 chair covers at a very reasonable price (their shipping price is also WAY cheaper than others in the area). She is very professional, friendly and made any extra requests happen!

Sitting pretty did a fabulous job at my wedding reception! We used their table runners, that they special ordered for us so we could have the exact colors we wanted. We also had ceiling drapings, and it was beautifully done. Many of our guests are still talking about it. They were also extremely well priced and flexable with the timing of set up and tear down.

Sitting Pretty did our ceiling draping and chair covers at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum... what an amazing job they did!! Our reception was absolutely stunning! They have the best prices around... trust me, I've looked. I would definitely recommend them for any wedding!! They take your wedding from beautiful to breathtaking!

Jennifer did an amazing job with our ceiling draping! It transformed our ballroom into a beatiful reception venue!! We had many guests compliment how it set the mood for the night! Definitely worth the money. Jennifer is great to work with. Very professional and gets back you quickly if you have questions.

Jennifer, who owns Sitting Pretty, is just the kindest person to work with! We used her chair covers and sashes at my wedding reception just a few weeks ago on March 5, 2011, at Legends Golf Course Club. The materials that Jennifer uses are of high quality and it shows!WOW!!! It was AMAZING how beautiful the chairs looked with ivory covers and fuscia sashes! Jennifer was so easy to work with and very flexible, prices are very reasonable, and Jennifer made accommodations for me so that my day was all about me and what worked best around my schedule. Thank you, Jennifer! I'd use you again in a heart beat and I'll definitely refer you to others that need decorating for events! Thanks for making my wedding reception a truly memorable and most beautiful day for my now husband and I! You're the best!

Jennifer at Sitting Pretty was AMAZING!!! She would promplty respond to all my emails with great detail about what we had discussed and any notes we made to our services. When we arrived at our reception we were in awe of the work she had done and how beautiful everything turned out. At the end of the day her prices were unbeatbale and WELL WORTH the piece of mind she provided a planning and deatil oriented Bride and Mother-of-the-Bride. Thank you SO much for making our day so beautiful! Our guests all commented on how beuautiful the room looked and that they thought the chair covers and draping made it look and feel like such an elegant wedding!

Everything looked amazing that Jennifer did!!!!!!!! We ended up doing a candle lit ceremony and with the draping on the ceiling, it was perfect and brought everything together [it all looked very elegant]! She did an amazing job and it was great working with her as well as she's so sweet and down-to-earth. There are so many places that look at customers as numbers and not people, but not her. She made us feel like it was about making our day as special as possible and that we mattered and that’s awesome and what makes her so wonderful! I would recommend her in a heartbeat and will if I ever hear of anyone in need of tulle. Plus, she is MUCH more reasonable in her prices and I did a LOT of shopping around. :)

We couldn't have chosen a better vendor for our chair covers and sashes. Jennifer even sent us fabric samples to match our color when her present vendors didn't have the right match. When we arrived at the reception venue, everything was perfect! Having never met Jennifer in person and only corresponding with her by cell and e-mail, her attention to detail was absolutely amazing. It is nice to find a vendor that really goes all out to make the bride's dreams come true on her special day. We received many comments on how beautiful the reception area looked. My daughter and I highly recommend Sitting Pretty for all your event rentals if you are looking for the highest quality and utmost attention to providing you with exactly what you are looking for on your specific event. Jennifer provided the chair covers and sashes for our wedding reception. The price was the best that I found but the quality is just as nice as the more expensive vendors. Jennifer was very responsive and the day of I didn't have to worry about anything. They did the setup and came back to pick them up so we had one less thing to worry about.

Jennifer took over for us when another vendor became a big problem for us. She was professional in all of her emails and phone calls and I felt like she was more than a vendor in many ways. She is great!

The chair covers, sashes, and tablecloths were amazing and totally transformed the Holiday Inn where our reception took place. Beautiful job and I know that she is a preferred vendor at the Holiday Inn.

I have recommended Sitting Pretty to my girlfriend who is getting married in September and Jennifer is providing some linens for her too.

Sitting Pretty was my favorite vendor to work with! Jennifer was so accommodating to all of my requests and was always very quick to respond to my emails. She made the process so easy! Her staff set-up and took down everything on the day of the wedding so that I didn't have to worry about anything!

Also, I cannot express how happy I was with the chair covers, sashes, ceiling draping and Chuppah. It was all beautiful and was almost half the price of some of the other vendors that I looked at!

Our reception room looked so beautiful! We had Sitting Pretty drape the ceiling, and also had them put lights and tulle on the bridal table. Our wedding was 500 miles from our home town, but Jennifer kept in touch by e-mail whenever I had a question. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Our wedding reception was held at the Arboretum (our daughter's). It was beautifully decorated with tulle and white lights draping and white chair covers. Friends of ours were at a wedding there the next day that did not do the draping or chair covers and they thought without the decorating, it had a "conference room" feel to it. Jennifer from Sitting Pretty was very helpful, always got back to us promptly and most of all did an absolutely beautiful job with the chair covers, sashes, ceiling draping and backdrop. I checked alot of vendors and wasn't sure I was choosing the right one because of our budget and was very pleasantly surprised how fabulous everything turned out. Not one glitch!

Jennifer with Sitting Pretty was excellent to work with during the whole year we were planning the wedding. She is easily available and returns your e-mail or call in a very timely manner. Jennifer and her staff did an excellent design with ceiling drapes and lights and the chair covers and sashes were gorgeous. The staff at Lafayette Club hadn't seen the Ballroom decorated in such a unique and beautiful style in a longtime.

Jennifer with Sitting Pretty did a FABULOUS job for helping with the decorations for my daughter's event at the Legends Club House. She provided the ceiling and wall drapery with lights and also hot pink tooling bows for the chairs. She did a beautiful job that created the romantic, dreamy look we were going for, everyone comments on her wonderful decorating and how she draped the tooling when they look at the pictures! Jennifer was great to work with, she agreed to setting up for us months ahead knowing she was close to her due date with her baby, and set up for us with her 5 day old baby along! She is amazing and her prices were less than others in the area that we compared her to. I highly recommend her, very worth the price for the look of the room she created and we did not have to worry about a thing, she worked with the event coordinator at the Legends to set up around their schedule! We could not have bought the tooling and lights for the price of having her do it for us...again, highly recommend her services she was great!

As mother of the bride, I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the service of Sitting Pretty from start to finish. We rented chair covers and sashes from them. Their website was easy to navigate and we could see examples of their work. Once we inquired, the response was fast and concise. The process was easy as we took care of the details via e-mail and simply mailed our deposit. As the date approached, Jennifer took care of the details and sent our options via e-mail on how we wanted the sashes tied, confirmed the count and any other details and then followed up three days before the wedding to let us know what time to expect them there. I would HIGHLY recommend Sitting Pretty from a service and cost standpoint and on a personal note, chair covers at your reception is not an option. They were gorgeous and really tied the event all together!

The draping of the room made it feel so elegant, and was complimented all night. We knew we wanting draping but never knew we could afford it till be met with sitting pretty she was very flexible with when we wanted to meet with her which was great working full time and going to school. She called us back or emailed within two days of us calling or emailing and respected our time and budget.

Our experience with Sitting Pretty was wonderful. Jennifer worked around our schedule to make everything go perfectly. She met with us to help design our décor. The reception was in the Atrium at the St. Paul Doubletree Hilton. The room was transformed into a beautiful venue by using tulle with lights, chair covers and organza chair bows.

Jennifer did a wonderful job. We were so pleased with how the ballroom looked with the ceiling drapery and the chair covers. Plus, her prices couldn't be beat! The vendor recommended to us by our reception location was nearly twice the price of Sitting Pretty, and their product would have been the same. Jennifer was very easy to get a hold of and she answered all of my many questions. We never actually met in person to discuss or book her services, everything was done over email which is a plus for a busy bride! She is very dedicated to her job, which was proven by her answering my phone call while she was in the hospital shortly after giving birth! I would highly recommend Sitting Pretty to anyone!

Sitting Pretty decorated our reception hall beautifully! We had so many compliments on our room! The ceiling draping was totally worth it! They also worked with me and my wedding coordinator setting up and delivering after hours! They were so kind to also take care of the seat covers and sashes! The room looked amazing! Thanks for making our wedding day so special!
