Sisters Floral Design Studio is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend them enough. They are personable, detail-oriented, and went above and beyond to make our wedding beautiful. They did EVERYTHING from set up, transitions, and tear down. Our wedding was in Forest Park a week after the tornado hit so we knew flowers would be a big part in beautifying our space. I was blown away with all of their work! -

I am so happy that I went with Sisters Floral Design Studio for my August 2023 wedding. I asked for an arbor decoration, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, wrist corsages and bud vases with florals on the tables. They were communicative throughout the process, worked well with other vendors and were on time for everything, which is so important as a bride trying to coordinate what feels like a hundred moving pieces for my wedding. The florals were SPECTACULAR!!! I had a specific colorful, whimsical vibe in mind and I felt like their whole team really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I got so many compliments on how amazing my bouquet was from the other guests and the photographers. It truly was one of my most favorite parts of the day to see it come to life. They even sent me a handwritten thank you note after the wedding which I thought was a sweet touch. If you're looking for an affordable and creative florist for your wedding, Sisters Floral Design should be at the top of your list. -

Best Experience, Best Florist
This team made all of my floral dreams come true. We were sold on their work at an open house, and even more sold at our first meeting. Teresa was so organized and helped me think about details of my day and floral vision I had not yet thought about. She asked all the right questions to really nail down my vision, and gave a presentation that showed me we were on the same page. When it came to getting tight on the budget, they really worked with me to find ways to meet in the middle as far as staying on track with what I really wanted, and staying inside the budget. It felt so easy and relaxing to sit around the table at their studio and just talk about details in a relaxed setting. They delivered everything, set up for the ceremony, and stayed to move everything (floral) in place for the reception and ensure that the presentation was absolutely perfect. The most common remarks I heard about our wedding day were regarding our flowers and how absolutely stunning of a job our florist did. Dependable, highest quality, attention to detail, and, most importantly, I truly felt like I was working with friends who really cared about me through this process. Book them now! -

Best Day Ever!!
Teresa, Shelly, and Ashley were a joy to work with! Their professionalism and experience was evident to us from the very first meeting, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together for the wedding. Sisters truly made our vision a reality — they picked the most beautiful flowers and incorporated candles and fairy lights into the centerpiece designs. My bouquet was absolutely stunning, and they also provided gorgeous pieces for our chuppah. They set everything up and tore everything down at the end of the night. Thank you Sisters!! We would highly recommend to anyone else! -

Sisters Floral Design Studio provided the flowers for our wedding and we loved working with them! They were extremely helpful, organized, and responsive. In our initial meeting they put together a presentation of ideas based on inspiration photos I sent them, and it was incredibly helpful in nailing down my order in a way I couldn't have done without them. Sisters Floral was so easy to work with! They listened to my ideas and put together a great presentation. They were accomodating and stayed within my buget. The flowers were delivered fresh and stayed fresh throughout the wedding and even into the next week. I was so happy with them!

I shared with Emily Testrake the colors I chose for my wedding and I loved wild flowers and from there her team created a gorgeous floral design which was consistent throughout all of the pieces they created for us. Lisa Sent on 09/30/2010Emily and her team are fabulous! I love flowers but really wanted to get ideas from them since they are the experts. They came up with a beautiful plan, were so easy to work with when we had changes or tweaks and the results were stunning. Not only were our bouquets incredible, but my husband and I were utterly speechless when we saw everything put together in our venue. It was breathtaking and 3 weeks later I am still getting compliments! Easy to work with, wonderful ideas and fabulous results Thanks Sisters! -

I meant a lot to my Mom that we had a certain flower included in our floral bouquets and arrangements and I had a completely different flower in mind. They did a really wonderful job in making both of the flowers look great together along with some additional ones as well. Our flowers turned out even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! They are also great people to work with which makes things more fun and exciting! Thanks Sister's for all your hard work!!!!!! -

Ashley Sent on 07/10/2013When I first met with Sisters, I had sent them some of my ideas beforehand. Honestly, though, I did not know much about flowers. They had a whole board prepared when I showed up with our names and date on it and so many beautiful ideas. They took my ideas and made them a million times better. I was so impressed. The day of the wedding, they showed up a bit early so they did not actually do the pin on service but we had a wedding coordinator so she handled that. The bouquets were exactly what I wanted. The only slight problem was that my mother-in-law's flower fell off of her corsage before the ceremony. I am not sure how or why that happened. Besides that, I loved everything from the boutonnières to the centerpieces. I would and have recommended them to everyone! Besides the fact that they do beautiful work, they have great personalities and are fun to work with. -

Alicia Sent on 10/15/2009Sisters flowers ladies were very nice to work with and gave us beautiful flowers and bouquets. The only thing that would have been helpful is more pictures in clearer quality to be able to see the types of flowers you can get for your wedding. My only complaint with them is the flowers in the centerpieces on our tables were supposed to be submerged in water and they were not they were dry. However all of the flowers looked amazing and were not dry, sagging, or browning at all. Thank you to Sisters flowers! -

While I didn't have a large floral order, so far as most weddings are concerned, they worked with me to make sure I had flowers that matched our overall feeling and were within my budget. Everything arrived on time and as described. My only complaint is that by the mid-point of the reception (5-6 hours after delivery and 4-5 hours of wearing), some of the boutonniere flowers weren't holding up so well (petals falling off of roses & cala lilies separating from the base). My planner was able to help with some tape and just pulling off the "offending" petals, but I would have expected a bit more. -

Mary Sent on 08/25/2010Sisters provided me with beautiful flowers for my wedding. I loved meeting with them in their professional but comfortable office space in Kirkwood. One thing I wish I had known ahead of time was that I was going to have to pay for any flower arrangements I originally said I wanted but then did not need once I knew my final head count. By that point, they had already ordered the flowers and could not give me a refund for the arrangements I no longer needed. Shelly's spreadsheets were great and kept me organized, but be sure to ask them to go over every element of their contract in detail at your first meeting. I also got a discount for signing with them at my first meeting and for paying with cash, so be sure to be prepared for those two possibilities. Emily went above and beyond, staying at my ceremony site beyond their usual time to help see us all down the aisle safely since I was not using a professional wedding planner. I am also looking forward to taking advantage of their vase rebate and getting a little money back now that we are finished with our flower arrangements. Be sure to ask for a bouquet preservation recommendation because you are going to want to keep your bouquet, but you need to plan those things earlier than the day after your wedding (which is when I started thinking about it). -

Final product may or may not match the inspiration photos they request you sent them
I have very mixed feelings regarding Sisters Floral. Prior to the original meeting with Sisters, they requested that I send them inspiration pictures they could use to put together preliminary designs. I sent them several pictures of the various things I liked. Included in these pictures were small cascading bridal bouquets that brides hold with two hands at their waist and a floral necklace to tie around a dog's collar. At the meeting, they presented a powerpoint presentation to us which included the exact inspiration pictures I had sent them. During the next 10 months, no one from Sisters ever mentioned they would not be able to create similar concepts on two important pieces to me, the bridal bouquet and a flower necklace for my dogs. Since no one mentioned it couldn't be done and everything they showed us were the original inspiration pictures I had sent, I assumed the final products would be similar concepts (obviously the exact flowers would be different, but I thought it would look conceptually similar). On the day of the wedding, I was very disappointed in the bouquet (no cascading flowers that could be held with two hands at the waist, I was told to hold the very heavy arrangement like a baby up at my chest so the stems were exposed, kind of similar to prom queen floral arrangements) and the dog's flower necklaces (was a greenery arrangement with extremely small flowers on them that weren't really visible) as they looked nothing like what I had sent them or they had presented to me. On the wedding day, I didn't see the bridal bouquet until it was handed to me as I was walking outside to take pictures with it. There wasn't really time to say anything and even if there had been, there was no way they could completely recreate the bouquet. When I contacted Sisters after the wedding to express my disappointment, I was told inspiration photos can never be matched as flowers will never be exactly the same and different flowers are available at different times of the year. They also said I should have told them I didn't like the bouquet day of, so they could remake the bouquet for me. They never addressed the concepts being different or apologized. Other than these two issues (which very important to me), the other arrangements (for the tables, bridesmaids, arbor and fireplace) were very pretty and looked very conceptually similar to the inspiration pictures I sent them. The wedding was outside and it was very warm that day. Sisters postponed setting up the flowers until later in the day, so they wouldn't wilt from the heat, which I was very appreciative of. Thus my mixed feelings. Despite the great work they did with the other flowers and their willingness to set up the flowers closer to the wedding start time, I would not use them again and would not recommend them to others. The way they were not willing to apologize and admit the product they gave me on two important pieces were different than what we had shared multiple times with each other was too disappointing. Especially the bridal bouquet as it is in the majority of my pictures and looks ridiculous. If you do decide to go with them, be aware your inspiration photos and the powerpoint they present you are meaningless and the final product may or may not resemble the concepts/look you want.
