Charming and Elegant Venue, Responsive and Friendly Staff

Jason and Sierra were both great to work with, very responsive and knowledgable. The venue itself is full of charm and history, you will feel both cozy and enchanted all night. The price was great as well and on the day of, the staff were attentive, responsive, and extrememly conscientious. Hakuna Matata if you have this crew!

Absolutely incredible!

I would do it all over again just because of Sisterdale Dancehall. First off, the venue is amazing, in and of itself. But in all reality, it's the staff that makes or breaks a place. I couldn't have asked for a staff that was more helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Caitlyn helped me so much through the whole process and on the day-of. If you're on the fence at all about this venue, just make the jump. It's worth it. They're flexible and they have almost everything you could need already there. Two thumbs up!

Wonderful Wedding Venue

Charming venue

I love my venue. Everyone who works at Sisterdale is so helpful and they try to be as flexible as possible. It really gives off a small venue feel with the ability to hold a fairly good sized wedding. I can’t wait to spend my big day there in November.

I can not say enough good things about this venue. From beginning to end everything was perfect!! The venue has many decorations already on site and it already looks so beautiful not a lot of decorations were even necessary. I didn't have a wedding planner but didn't need one. Jordan made sure everything ran smoothly for our special day.

Two years ago we found out about this place and fell in love with it instantly. As soon as we started wedding planning, the first thing I did was pick up the phone and book our date. And boy am I happy I did! We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! The grounds are GORGEOUS and the dancehall itself is so beautiful and full of history. Rhonda was amazing and with her help, everything went off without a hitch! Our whole wedding was magical and we are so stinkin happy we choose Sisterdale Dancehall!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue but to start off with Rhonda the venue owner is simply Amazing! She helped me through the whole process for everything to go smoothly without any kind of glitch. I had such a great wedding day and it was all thanks to Rhonda and her staff. The venue is more than words can express it's gorgeous, amazing, and so beautiful. All my guests were simply in love with this place and could not stop telling me how beautiful it was. Her staff is amazing as well. If y'all want a beautiful venue in the Hill Country Sisterdale Dancehall and Opera house is your place to go. Ladies have your wedding here I guarantee you will not regret it!

Pretty and Rustic wedding here. We loved the DJ too. ICADJ ENTERTAINMENT made the reception a true party! Our decortations were so perfect!!!. Thank you guys so much.

We fell in love with our venue from the moment we did the first walk-through! It is such a beautiful and roomy venue, we booked it shortly after! Rhonda is absolutely amazing and helps with the day of as well. People kept commenting on how amazing the venue was. The lighting is great, the decor in the reception area was exactly what we wanted, and we love the openness of the outdoor area. The ceremony area is beautiful and open as well. We were so blessed to have Rhonda help with everything that night, our evening could not have been more perfect.

Sisterdale Dance Hall was the one and only venue we looked at, and we were in love! Rhonda is amazing. Not only did she patiently field my tons and tons of questions, but she was always available if we wanted to come by and show someone the venue. Rhonda was terrific the day of. She knows just how to manage all of the various people and how to make everything flow smoothly. Rhonda also helped us set up our rehearsal dinner at Eagle Dancer Ranch. That was a perfect location and all of our bridal party and families had a great time!
The venue itself is beautiful and overlooks Sister Creek. That makes for some great pictures! The rustic feel of the venue was a great choice for us.
I would definitely tell brides to go and see Sisterdale Dance Hall and meet with Rhohda. It was the BEST day ever and I am so glad we went with the Dance Hall!!

I knew exactly what I looking for to create the wedding of my dreams and this was it! The second I stepped foot on the property I realized that Sisterdale Dance Hall had the rustic look and feel that I was looking to create for my Texas / Cowboy themed wedding. I loved the outdoor ceremony venue and the indoor dance hall! Inside the dance hall has so much character that you hardly need to decorate it. And, there was a whole closet full of decorations that we could use as a part of the cost of the venue, saving tons of $$ on decorations! Rhonda was so flexible about giving tours and access to the grounds to show off to family and to help with planning. I also love that I was able to get my engagement and photos at Eagle Dancer Ranch as well as have my rehearsal dinner there - the rustic barn and fields of flowers was the perfect backdrop for the photos! I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! Sisterdale Dance Hall ROCKS!!!

I had my wedding at Sisterdale Dancehall and it was nothing but magical. Rhonda is an outstanding wedding coordinator. Rhonda makes every thing work together like a charm! I had nothing to worry about all day because I knew between my best friend and Rhonda everything that needed to get done would get done. Sisterdale Dancehall is a gorgeous place and the price is definitely worth it! I had such a great day!

We had our ceremony and reception at Sisterdale Dancehall and I can't say enough wonderful things about the venue as well as Rhonda, the onsite manager. I had originally been planning to have our wedding near Dallas but when I saw Sisterdale I knew that was where we would have the wedding and a destination wedding it became! The grounds and the dancehall are beautiful and make for incredible photos. Our guests could not stop telling us how perfect the venue was. Great for dancing, great outdoor space, beautiful ceremony space under a huge oak tree. Rhonda was always available via phone, text, or email and answered all of my questions as well as ran everything so smoothly the day of. She even mailed me a piece of decor that was important to us that we forgot after the wedding. Absolutely no complaints here. Our wedding was beautiful and a big part of that was thanks to Sisterdale Dancehall!

We absolutely loved Sisterdale Dancehall and Rhonda, the venue coordinator, was phenomenal to work with! The price at Sisterdale includes so much and this was awesome! The location and setting was so beautiful! We had so many great compliments about our venue! Go visit! You'll fall in love if you're looking for a rustic setting to celebrate your big day!!

FANTASTIC!! The venue itself is adorable, and we loved the mix of indoor and outdoor space. Rhonda was an added bonus! She is really helpful with questions about vendors and making sure that you have everything planned ahead of time. She made me think of things that I would've totally missed!

The venue was perfect! Rhonda, the new coordinator, came on-board after we booked the venue which was a 100% improvement from our initial booking experience. This was hands down the most bang for your buck. Having tables, linens, decorations, B&B, and staff the day of included was such a relief and super cost effective. They went over and above in helping with everything during our day. It was so awesome that a guest from our wedding booked the venue for her wedding and reception. I just can't say enough!

I can't say enough great things about this venue. I searched for venues for our wedding. Right when I saw this venue, I fell in love. It was everything I imagined and more!! The price is amazing too!! Not only do you get the venue with this cost, you get a ton of decor to use for your wedding. Everything I wanted to use, they had. Rhonda, the venue coordinator, was great. She responded to all of my texts/phone calls very promptly. She was very knowledgable and helpful throughout the whole planning process. She even recommended a B&B for us to stay at after our wedding. It was perfect. If you are looking for a charming, beautiful, rustic venue that all of your guests will talk about, look no further!!!

We are so in love with this venue, I wish I could relive our wedding day over and over again. Rhonda really goes out of her way to help with any and everything. We couldn't have picked a better place to get married. It is so magical, in the heart of a tiny town. Her employees are beyond sweet. This venue completed all my expectations. It is absolutely amazing and made my wedding my dream wedding! Rhonda was amazing throughout the entire process. I fell in love with the venue so much that i decided to plan and get married in 30 days! Rhonda was very flexible with every detail. She made the experience that much better. I wouldn't have changed a thing on my venue. All the decorations that are included in the price was amazing and made all the difference in the day! I am more than happy that I had my wedding here! I cannot wait to get married here next October! My parents actually went to sisterdale dancehall and face timed me the venue and I fell in love with it then! When I saw it in person it was even more magical, from the service to the scenery I knew it was the perfect place for me to celebrate my big day.

I had my wedding at Sisterdale Dancehall in May and it was absolutely wonderful! Rhonda, the coordinator and manager of Sisterdale Dancehall, started working there about a month before my wedding. She absolutely exceeded my expectations. Any time I called or emailed her, she responded within several hours. She was always on time to meet with me and was very flexible. She thought of things that I never thought of for the day of the wedding, and was a great coordinator, overall.
The venue is absolutely wonderful. My bridesmaids and I had a blast getting ready in the bed and breakfast that is on sight. Numerous guests have commented on how beautiful the venue was and how nice it was to not have to drive between the ceremony and reception.
Lastly, the price that Sisterdale Dancehall gives you includes so much! They take care of tables, tablecloths,and chairs, and have a ton of cute decorations that you can use-- mason jars, cute tables for cake/ presents, etc., wine bottles, burlap, lanterns, shepherds hooks, wood slices, etc.

We are two very proud grandparents!
our granddaughter just got married in Sisterdale at the dancehall and opera house, it was truly breathtaking! We were so thankful to have Jessica as our events Coordinator, she was so accommodating to us making sure everything was running smoothly!
It was perfect in every way!

OH MY GOSH!!!! Is all I can say about Sisterdale DanceHall it was the most perfect place to get married Jessica was all over everything when ever we needed something changed it was always "ya I'll be right on top of that!" And it was always done right away and the 4 young helpers she had where very respectful and very helping the scenery was just outstanding I don't know what else I could say then AMAZING!!!

BEAUTIFUL venue!!! We had about 250 actually attend the wedding and they were able to fit us outside and in the inside dancehall. They have done tons of renovations, added restrooms (used to have executive port-a-potties) and added window units into the dressing area for the bride (was much needed for us, our wedding was in September). The dancehall is beautiful, has white christmas lights inside... Gorgeous!!

I couldn't have picked a more perfect place to get married! The venue was beautiful, the onsite coordinator, Jessica, was so great to work with and so helpful! Guests of the wedding are still telling me how beautiful and unique everything was and that it was one of the best weddings they've been to. I loved everything about the experience and would highly recommend Sisterdale Dancehall!

Jessica is so wonderful. She was always accommodating and the deal you get at Sisterdale Dancehall is unmatched. It was such a relief to not have to worry about renting any chairs or tables or table linens and they are very generous with the supplies they have on site.

This is the perfect venue for a rustic dancehall look and EVERY photograph turns out beautifully. There is nothing out of place and every nook and cranny is photogenic. The dressing area in the B&B on site was perfect for our first look and a beautiful place to get ready with the girls. The ceremony site is to die for and you can decorate it any way you like to fit your theme. They have shepherd hooks and white chairs and a few hay bails to use on site. They've got a rustic altar creekside and beautiful doors to set up behind the altar or at the end of the aisle for the "big reveal".

This place is what all those wannabe rustic venues try to live up to. It's the real deal.

If you're interested in booking here, ask Jessica about the mismatched plates they acquired from our wedding. We had collected 150 place settings of mismatched plates from here in Texas and from England. They're the best set out there and I'm so glad that they will now live at Sisterdale Dancehall.

We even went later than planned and our coordinator said "no worries" take as long as you like. So pro and so nice on our day.

Perfect spot also for sparkler exits too... a MUST in our books. Go see it. NOW!

We LOVED the dancehall And working with Jessica was amazing! She did everything she could to make our wedding perfect! Cold weather and not being able to serve dinner indoors was our only concern.

My husband and I moved to this area about a year ago.. when we saw Sisterdale Dancehall we KNEW that's where we were going to get married someday! Little did we know, exactly a year later, we did! Everything about Sisterdale Dancehall is a dream come true! The venue is unrealistically beautiful! It's out of a fairytale. The actual dancehall is amazing, even without putting up any of your own decorations, it looks perfect!! Rhonda is GREAT! She takes care of literally everything. When we first booked the venue, we dealt with Jessica.. and she never got back to us about anything.. never answered any questions. It was so unnerving. BUT! That being said.. when Rhonda took over.. it was like a breath of fresh air! She got back to me right away.. she met us there about 2 weeks before the wedding and we went through a run-through of everything I wanted and where I wanted it. She was SO helpful! I knew everything was going to be taken care of on the wedding day so I didn't have to worry about it. On the day of the wedding.. I think there was about 6 of her! She was helping me, helping my husband, helping the caterer, helping the florist, helping the minister. She was everywhere! I could just relax with my girls and get ready to walk down the aisle! This place is gorgeous.. and the people there are fantastic. If you want rustic, historic, BEAUTIFUL.. book with Sisterdale Dancehall. You WON'T regret it!

This venue was the absolute perfect choice for my wedding. The rustic barn and beautiful creek that sit on the property fit the mold for what I wanted in my wedding to a T.

There were some disadvantages to the venue; the bathrooms were not ready (when I had been told they would be) and we were forced to use port-a-pottys. I was assured that there would be a smooth transition from the ceremony to the reception and there most assuredly was not. Several of the guests at the wedding were forced to move their own chairs from the ceremony to the reception which really bummed me out. Another problem, the guest house on the property where the bridal party was to get ready did not have heat. It was about 30 degrees in the house the day of the wedding and the bridesmaids and I were absolutely FREEZING! I guess it slipped my mind to ask if the heater worked in the house!

These types of things can happen anywhere, it is just very important that you think of anything possible that you are concerned about and make sure that the staff is taking care of it!

Overall, the location is absolutely beautiful and Erin, the wedding coordinator, is wonderful & very sweet. She wants the best for her clients and does everything she can to make your day perfect.

Rhonda is super helpful and knowledgeable. Her staff are very on top of things.

It poured down rain right up until my wedding. I wish I could have had my wedding outside because it didn't rain. Our day of was a little hectic and things didn't go how I wanted them to but I think most of that was because of the rain.

Everyone commented on how beautiful everything was.

I love this venue! The trees are gorgeous and the venue itself is fantastic for a rustic wedding. I had my wedding on a Saturday when it was supposed to rain. Jessica, the director, was great up to a certain point. She did have the ceremony grounds set up and ran the bar. Don't expect her to be a wedding day coordinator as indicated on the website. I was really surprised to learn that she showed the venue to prospective couples the day of our wedding and informed my groom 5 minutes before our ceremony that our cake had not arrived instead of calling them herself. I was also surprised to hear that she was a bit rude to some guests and my sister as well. I would like to think that she must have had a bad day because she didn't do too much to help coordinate our wedding and her behavior was nothing like the days before the wedding, generally very sweet. Again, the venue is gorgeous, great price, but if I would do over my wedding again, I would hire a wedding day coordinator because my aunt had to take over coordinating our wedding.

Overall this venue is beautiful and it includes tables, linens, and some other decor if you are into the rustic feel. Jessica was flexible and very friendly, the problem I had was that she was very hard to get a hold of. I'm not sure if it was a workload problem or what, but this place is booked almost every weekend and there is just 1 contact person. She took days to respond to emails/texts/voicemails and even stood us up one time. I don't want to leave a bad review, but it made my overall wedding process just that much more stressful. I had to communicate times and the alcohol list several times to her and just felt like it was very unorganized. Everything ended up going off without a hitch so all ended well, I just didn't enjoy the process of working with this venue at all. They do a good job of keeping the dance hall up with lights and fabric and flowers, although one side of the hall dips down by at least 6 inches so you can't use the space for seating. Overall, I felt like we got what we paid for minus the service.

Sisterdale Dancehall was the first and only venue my husband and I visited - we knew it was THE ONE. We immediately fell in love with it's charm, history, and it's rustically beautiful ambiance. Our wedding was in April and we're still receiving praise on the beauty of the location. Where our disappointment/concern comes from is the management of the venue. I've mulled over this review so that it was not simply a knee jerk reaction from being a stressed out bride. One thing I want to make clear is that the VENUE itself is phenomenal. When we had our initial meeting with the Venue Coordinator, it went very well. She was informative, had great ideas to offer in terms of planning, decorations, vendors. About 2 months prior to our wedding is when the first red flags started popping up. We had multiple questions that were time sensitive and when I reached out to her with these questions it took upwards of a week to get a response. Even my husband was calling and sending messages, hoping for feedback. I finally had to leave a voicemail, because the phone was NEVER answered, and threaten to not pay the remaining balance until we received some answers. Lo and behold, she finally got back with us and never apologized, or even mentioned the lack of communication. The day of our wedding arrived and she was nearly absent the entire time. The two bartenders she was supposed to hire consisted of one gentleman and our VENUE COORDINATOR. You can imagine my concern and disappointment that my much needed help was filling beer cups, instead of fulfilling her end of the contract (coordinating with vendors, bustling of dress, etc). She clearly dropped the ball on many of our requests and never bothered to let us know. It caused an inordinate amount of stress that quite simply could've been avoided had she adhered to the contract and proper communication. There are more concerns to list, and simply not enough space. Bride beware.
