Hair and make up was one of the hardest vendors for me to book for my wedding. I'm not a particularly 'glam' person and wanted a relatively natural vibe with a little edge. On top of that, finding quality HMU artists at an affordable price who are easy to work with seemed few and far between. I feel so lucky to have found Nikki and Lauren. From the start, Nikki was prompt to answer my questions and worked with me tirelessly through COVID trial and wedding reschedules.
She put me so at ease. As if I didn't already love her, my HMU trial sealed the deal and got me so excited for the big day! Her team was there bright and early to take care of 10+ services on my wedding day and all of the women working had the best attitude and added an incredible energy to getting ready.
I couldn't thank SSB enough for their patience and I need to mention how gorgeous all of my ladies looked for the big day! -

Nikki and her team did an amazing job for my wedding. They were fun to be around, flexible with looks and extremely efficient. It rained with 20 mph winds on my wedding day and my hair stayed intact looking great after outdoor photos as well as all the other girls. Thank you Nikki!!! -

My hair was perfect on our wedding day! I started with a trail with Nikki and she spent a lot of time finding the right style for me. On the day of the wedding, she did an incredible job and took time to make the last minute changes I wanted. I received so many compliments all night long! -

Nikki was fantastic, my hair and the bridesmaids hair came out beautiful and stayed the whole night. She was very reassuring and helped me pick out a hair piece, she also went above and beyond by doing my 5 year old nieces big and curly hair. She also stayed overtime to ensure we knew how to take out my veil and was just really friendly and kind. Can’t recommend enough. -

Amazing experience and quality work
I got married in September 2019. My husband now was doing a lot of research trying to find a great hairstylist for myself and our bridesmaids. We were so lucky to find Nikki who is so amazing at what she does including her team!!!! I will recommend Nikki to any bride to be. After partying all night and waking up so early the day of my wedding my hair was still fabulous!!!

Nikki is awesome. I was elated with the results of my hair. She gave me the exact look I wanted and it stayed in place all day! My bridal party’s hair came out just as beautiful. Nikki really listens to her clients. She improvised with certain hairstyles that could not be done due to the length or body of hair. Nikki is also so patient and great with the little ones. She was so good with my flower girls who were very adamant in what they wanted. I highly recommend Nikki for any special event you may have! Thank you Nikki for making us look fabulous! -

I was recommended to use Nikki for my wedding. I always liked recommendations better than searching myself. Although Nikki was super nice and accommodating when we discussed prior to what I was looking for, didn’t seem like she was paying attention to what I actually wanted. The day of my wedding, she seemed as if no effort was put into my bridesmaids or myself. All of my girls were not happy, and one of them was that unhappy she had no choice but to put her hair up when it’s something she could of done herself to save money. My maid of honors, same thing. When it was time for mine to get done, she did what I asked but didn’t complete the look or actually do what I really wanted. When putting in my head piece, it was slightly crooked where I had to fix myself and tell her. She barely spoke and left. I liked how my girls and I looked regardless. It’s as if she wasn’t listening from the start and only wanted to hear herself. I give two stars. I would not recommend.Sincerely Something Borrowed's reply:
