    The best most amazing experience with Melissa!

    The most amazing experience with Simply Sweet Weddings!!! Melissa is soooo dedicated, detailed and thoughtful. We literally couldn't have done it without her! The wedding went so well and smoothly because of her. Any time we needed her she was always there and ready to help. You can definitely count on her to handle anything that comes your way in such a calm and organized manner. So happy we got to work with Melissa!

    Fantastic Wedding Coordinator

    I can’t say enough great things about Melissa. She truly is a gem and I recommend her highly. Throughout the entire planning process, Melissa is thorough, attentive, and timely. She is very quick to respond to emails and texts and is detailed when responding to questions. On the wedding day itself, Melissa was fantastic. She orchestrated the event so well by ensuring that all vendors were properly directed, that the day was flowing timely and according to the timeline, and by making the day seem so effortless to myself and the guests. Melissa does so much behind the scenes in order to make the wedding go as smoothly as possible, and her efficiency is unmatched. So many of my married friends warned me to expect hiccups, but I can say that we experienced none and our wedding went so smoothly all thanks to Melissa. Throughout it all, Melissa keeps such a calming and comforting demeanor which kept me so relaxed. We are so appreciative of her time and effort. And again, I can’t recommend Melissa enough.

    Amazing Wedding Planner!

    Holly is amazing! I'm a videographer and I worked with her at Greg and Marcy's wedding at Franciscan Gardens, she was nothing but amazing to work with from the weeks leading up to the day to the day of, and even after! She made the wedding run so smoothly, she cared about every detail, and made sure the bride and groom were good to go all day without making them feel stressed or under pressure! 10/10 recommend Holly and her team!

    Beyond Amazing

    Melissa was over and above the best thing that happened to us when planning our daughter's wedding. She was always there during the planning stages with vendor recommendations, decoration ideas and all around great advice. She was even more amazing on the day of the wedding. She made everything happen with such ease and grace and we were all able to just enjoy the day. All the details were carried out and handled to perfection. We would not do another wedding without her that is for sure. Anyone looking for a classy, organized and all around perfect wedding planner - Melissa is for you!

    Worth every penny

    I can't thank Melissa at Simply Sweet Weddings & Events enough for such an amazing job coordinating my wedding at Saddlerock Ranch.

    Having a wedding at Saddlerock Ranch is a bit more complicated because you have to bring everything yourself, including rentals, power, catering, etc. Throughout the entire planning process, Melissa was extremely responsive, organized, and made you feel like your wedding was the only one she was working on or cared about. She is one of the kindest women and has a positive attitude to make you always feel at ease. I have to say I didn't once feel stressed about planning because I knew everything was in good hands.

    I don't understand how Melissa and her team do it, but honestly, my whole wedding day felt like magic. The timeline was always on time or even ahead of schedule and if an issue arose her team would handle it in a calm manner with a smile on their face (something I could never do!). For example, I left my veil at the hotel room (30 minute drive roundtrip) and Hailey delivered it to me 5 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle.

    All my guests, including myself, groom, and family were all out of there at the end time @ 12 a.m. and her team stayed until at least 2 a.m. breaking down.

    Melissa and her team were worth every penny and if I ever have to plan a large event in the future they are at the top of my list!

    Melissa and her team were AMAZING! I can honestly say that there are no words to describe how irreplaceable Melissa and her team were for our son's wedding on Saturday.

    We threw our daughter's wedding 7 years ago and how I wish we would have known about Melissa then.

    Every detail was taken care of by either her, or her staff, under Melissa's direction. Melissa worked diligently with each and every vendor making sure that everything went extremely smooth, which it did.

    When ever there was a situation that may have come up, Melissa had a solution. Her calm, loving, patient, kind, compassionate and talented demeanor was a gift to all of us especially the bride and groom.

    If you are thinking you can handle all this on your own, and you've got this, I'd say you might want to rethink it...

    Hands down Melissa was worth every penny and more for what they did. They are worth their weight in gold.

    My husband and I have thrown numerous large parties, hosted huge holiday events and thrown a wedding for 250 people at our home for our daughter. Hands down this wedding for our son, where Melissa was in charge was a dream come true.

    I actually got teary when I was able to leave the venue at 12:30am along with the last guests, while leaving all that still had to be done up to Melissa, her team and all the other vendors. I've never been able to walk away at the end of a party that we've been a part of throwing, while there was so much still to take care of and shut down. I was able to get on our shuttle back to our hotel with complete peace and joy in knowing that everything was taken care of. It was a beautiful thing to behold...

    I literally cannot imagine my wedding without Melissa. She was professional, knowledgeable, extremely organized, calm, sweet and honestly everything else you could want in a wedding planner. All of her recommendations were spot-on from everything from vendors to decor and beyond. I am so thankful to her and her team for all of the work they did leading up to and on our wedding day!

    The reason why we chose Melissa was very easy. We were immediately impressed by her knowledge and experience. Melissa, Holly (Owner of Simply Sweet) and the rest of the team brought our wedding vision to life.
    I must say, we have all witnessed planners at weddings who more often than not are very pushy, intrusive and not all that organized or professional as you would think. Melissa and the Simply Sweet team are the complete opposite. On our wedding day I had multiple compliments from our vendors and guests on how wonderful Melissa was as well as her team. Melissa never worried us with the little things but would also keep us in the loop, which we appreciated. It was the best feeling to know that we didn't have to think about anything other than each other. As the bride, I really felt taken care of. She gave me time to really take the day in and relax.
    Simply Sweet is an excellent company who are extremely professional in every way. Till the very end of the night Holly and the team stayed, took care of break down and sent all of the important stuff to our room. Everything was perfect. Don't know why you would risk another company over Simply Sweet Weddings & Events.

    Hiring Melissa from Simply Sweet was THE best decision I made planning my daughter's wedding. She was amazing! From the moment we met I knew her calm demeanor and attention to detail would compliment my daughter and I. We are both intense and both want things done just right. Melissa made it happen. Though I did most of the planning of the venue, caterer, DJ, flowers etc. Melissa was always available for any questions and concerns as well as attending a few onsite meetings early on. The last few weeks before the wedding she developed timelines, made sure everything was confirmed etc. Finally the day of the wedding she and her team were amazing. From the keeping the bridal party on time with hair and makeup, to overseeing a complicated shuttling of guests, to making sure the bride and groom ( and even my husband ) ate something - everything was spot on. We have had nothing but compliments about the wedding and its Melissa who made sure things happened as they should. I honestly think without her we would have never had this spectacular day! THE BEST!!

    I went to college and graduate school with Holly so I was biased in choosing a wedding coordinator. I knew she was extremely detail oriented, organized, and someone I could trust with the most important day of my life. Not to mention, as her company suggests, she is extremely sweet! Holly did much more than I anticipated; going above and beyond to make the entire wedding planning process enjoyable. I felt at ease planning, as she truly has a calming presence and is always one step ahead. She is extremely creative, professional, and knowledgeable about the wedding industry. It's no wonder she is on all the "preferred vendor" lists. She put together an amazing team of vendors for me, turning the wedding of our dreams into a reality and we couldn't be happier. We will never forget our wedding and everything Holly and her team did to make it magical. Working with Simply Sweet Weddings was the first decision I made after getting engaged, and I highly recommend anyone needing a wedding coordinator do the same!

    Holly and her team did an amazing job during the entire process of planning my wedding. They are very organized and made what is normally a very stressful process as seamless as possible. Everyone had me prepared that the day of the wedding something was bound to go wrong, but to just let it go and have fun. I went through the entire day of getting ready and taking pictures and never had one issue brought to my attention. Holly and her team did such an amazing job that everything went smoothly and made sure that I was not affected by any of their stress. They thought of everything and their attention to detail was very apparent. We have received so many comments from guests that it was one of the best weddings they have been to and I attribute that to Simply Sweet Weddings. Holly has amazing vendor referrals and I truly appreciate all Simply Sweet Weddings did for my husband and I to make our day the best! While some of it was a blur, it was the most fun day and I would have never been able to do this without Holly and her team!

    Holly, you stopped at nothing to make sure Carissa and I had the most incredible day of our lives! Nothing I can say could translate the gratitude we have for you, your team, your execution, and delivery from the months leading up to especially the day of. 5 stars isn't a limit that could capture all you have done, but for those that know me best (and you too perhaps after this journey), know that when I say you are the best wedding coordinator we two could have ever asked for, I mean it without doubt. Your talent far exceeds anything I know. Thank you!!!

    If anyone is looking for a coordinator that will guide you through the entire planning process and see through the day of with both the highest professionalism and finesse, I promise you will not go wrong with Holly! I'm a bit of a control freak (being honest) but felt so comfortable having her steer through the day - and she pulled off WAY better than I envisioned. She was the go to person coordinating everything on our behalf. Best decision I made. Period.

    Holly and her team were amazing!! I had a pretty big wedding and I knew I was going to need some help planning. Holly previously planned a wedding I attended and I knew I had to book her and I am glad I did. You can hire any wedding planner to help you wth the details but I am pretty sure not all of them MAKE your wedding. I had a huge band a huge wedding but it wouldn't have been an epic night without Holly and her team. Things go wrong at every wedding but as far as I am concerned nothing went wrong. I could go on and on :) I highly recommend her to any bride, big wedding or small.

    Hiring Holly and her SSW team is likely the best money we've ever spent! Holly is fantastic because she's thoughtful, organized, and very sweet, yet when it comes to organizing and running your wedding, she'll execute everything with military precision. We never had to worry about coordinating with vendors or staying on schedule during the planning process - we knew we were in good hands the whole time, and she was extremely helpful, responsive and enthusiastic throughout our 10 months of planning. Holly was also incredibly flexible in accommodating our unpredictable work schedules - we are so thankful for her! Our wedding day ran smoothly and we all had an awesome time! Holly and her team took such good care of us, from small details like organizing the gifts in our wedding suite to big details like making sure the whole day and night came together seamlessly. Thanks so much to the whole SSW team for all your hard work! We feel very lucky to have been able to work with you!

    Holly was more than we could ever have asked for! We hired her for month and day of coordination and she went above and beyond anything we expected. We were planning our wedding from out of town and Holly met with us three months before the wedding to accommodate our timeline. She set a perfect timeline for the big day, took care of all the final confirmations, and made it so I had nothing to worry about. She answered all my questions and was extremely timely on all communications. The week leading up to my wedding was stress free in large part due to Holly and her team. The day of the wedding went flawlessly--if anything went wrong Holly and her team made it so we would never know. She made it easy for my husband and I, for our families, and for our bridal party, guiding everyone through every aspect of the day. More importantly, they made it so that I could actually enjoy the big day without a single care for anything else happening!

    Working with Simply Sweet Weddings & Events was incredible. Melissa was an absolute lifesaver throughout the entire process - she kept us on track and was excellent in communicating with the various vendors and contacts. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Simply Sweet made our wedding planning EASY; they handled everything while still allowing us to be a part of the fun, creative process! If anything they fostered that process and in doing so helped us create our dream wedding.
    The true value of Simply Sweet was demonstrated on our wedding weekend. Melissa had all of our key contacts, and has everything staged perfectly. The day of the wedding was absolutely flawless!!! No exaggeration. It was unbelievable to be able to know all of the moving parts going on behind the scenes, seeing them coming to fruition, but never really seeing the team or feel like they were even there. Everything ran so smoothly! Thanks to Simply Sweet, we planned our dream wedding and HAD a dream wedding. It was above and beyond my expectations.

    Holly and her Simply Sweet team (Stephanie & Shumaila) were absolutely amazing! We had their help for day-of coordination, and I have to say it was one of the BEST decisions we made during our wedding planning process. It took so much stress away knowing that someone was taking care of the bigger picture on the day (and all of the details in between) to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Wedding budgets get tight, but I definitely recommend finding a way to include this service into your planning. It makes a world of difference!

    From several phone calls, to our touch-base meetings and even assisting with the rehearsal, we felt we were in very good hands before the day even arrived. The team even had everything packed up in my parents' car at the end of the night so they didn't have to worry about a thing! I loved knowing that all of our friends and family (and us!) could just enjoy our big day. They were so sweet, organized, professional and helped create such a calm environment for everyone!

    I absolutely recommend Simply Sweet Weddings to anyone who wants their day to be perfect!!!

    Holly and the Simple Sweet staff were absolutely amazing! Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to them and I felt so relaxed and worry-free knowing that they were handling everything. They really went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was just they way I envisioned.

    Holly set us up with Melissa Churlonis to coordinate our wedding. She was beyond amazing in ensuring that our wedding was absolutely flawless. Despite the craziness caused by a rodeo across the street from the ceremony, Melissa helped keep us calm and advised us on our options to help prevent our wedding from being affected. She managed to push back our ceremony, worked with our venue and venders to push back our entire timeline and was able to get many of the venders to extend their time past our contract to make up for the changes.

    Melissa didn't let any of our last minute changes, or late responses with necessary info (some of which we never even gave her) affect her ability to make our wedding appear seamless. If there were any problem that occurred during our wedding we would never have known because Melissa handled it all.

    I hate to think how we would have managed to pull off our wedding without Melissa. She is an absolute gem and an incredibly gifted event coordinator. We are beyond thrilled with everything she did in such a short amount of time and are truly grateful for her expertise.

    Thank you for helping make our wedding more perfect than we could ever hope.

    Hiring Simply Sweet Weddings to help plan our wedding was by far the best decision we made. Holly and Tatiana are amazing! Being the Type A personality I thought I had most of the wedding planning in the bag and only asked for help with the month of planning but ended up being completely overwhelmed by the process. Holly and Tatiana went above and beyond constantly checking in months in advance and making sure I stayed on top of things.These girls are so sweet and so knowledgeable with everything wedding related. The time and attention they showed me made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with. If you're planning a wedding and budget is a concern like it was for me, do yourself a favor and don't skip hiring a wedding planner. It was the best decision we made!

    Holly and Tatiana with Simply Sweet were absolutely phenomenal! The month of the wedding they were incredibly helpful in reaching out to confirm all the details with my vendors. Then on the big day they were right there to help with every aspect! I could not have gotten through the day without them! I would recommend them for anyone planning a wedding!!!

    OMG! Holly Stein and her team at SimplySweet Wedding and Event was AMAZING. Her attention to detail was amazing. She had so many moving parts to coordinate - buses to the hotel, to the wedding site and then to the reception was unbelievable. She met several times with my now daughter-in-law and son - she helped the kids make sure they stayed on schedule for each event and thought of items that we did not think of...We could not have done this VERY important day without Holly...Holly thank you so much.

    Our wedding day was the most blissful and amazing day of our lives. We really owe it to The Simply Sweet Weddings Team, who worked so hard that day and made everything just perfect.

    The team was so professional, fun and and supportive. I didn't have to worry about anything that day as the girls were on top of everything. The Simply Sweet Weddings team felt like family, they really took good care of all of our guests, our families and the entire wedding party! From the set up to the grand exit - The Simply Sweet Weddings team made sure the day ran smoothly and I couldn't have asked for a better team by my side! I would recommend these girls to every bride!

    Best wedding decision I made!!! I chose the day-of planner since I really liked being hands-on. However, Holly went above and beyond. She answered all my emails and questions that same day. She never lost patience with me no matter how many questions I asked, gave me great advice, recommended vendors and always made me feel like I was ahead of the game. I definitely recommend paying a little extra to get the personal assistant who stays by your side all day. Ashley was amazing!!!! I didn't worry about one detail during my wedding day. I didn't touch anything, worry about the time or schedule or what was happening with any vendor. It was just taken care of. Thank you Holly, Ashley and the whole team!!! You are really are amazing!!!!

    Where to even begin with Simply Sweet Weddings & Events?! One of the best decisions I could have made for our wedding day. We recently were married in San Juan Capistrano at the beautiful Franciscan Gardens venue near the Mission.

    I had Holly as my day of coordinator along with Kaley as my personal assistant. WOW. If you are looking to have your wedding day run smoothly, on time, and be completely flawless, BOOK Simply Sweet right now! They were so fantastic to work with on the day of, making sure everything was handled and taken care of without every bothering me. I was able to just enjoy my moments with my bridesmaids and literally didn't worry about one thing.

    They coordinated the vendor arrivals, set up all the table centerpieces, welcome tables, escort cards, etc., and everything was exactly what I had imagined. Holly's team made sure guests knew what to do upon arrival and gave plenty of time to do so. Kaley handled our "first look" photos and made sure we even had water while doing so! It was all of the little things I noticed throughout the day that really made me feel taken care of by these wonderful ladies.

    I cannot express enough how amazing Holly and her team of girls are. If you are looking to have your wedding be the wedding of your dreams, hire them! I couldn't have done it without Holly. She took all of my ideas and made it come alive. We are so thankful that they were part of our Big Day and so incredibly happy with how everything turned out.

    I don't even know where to begin here because I feel like EVERY bride needs to know Holly and her team are the absolute best out there and I want to share everything I experienced!! First off, I had done a lot of research on various wedding planners in the OC, LA, SD and Temecula area... I wasn't even sure if I "needed" one and if I wanted to spend the money. After meeting with Holly this decision became much easier and i felt like I had to find a way to make this fit into my budget and cut out other aspects. BEST Decision I made.
    Holly was available for any question I had throughout the planning process. I ended up just using her for the day of because of and boy was I glad! It was worth every penny and saved me many fights with my mom (just being honest, haha) and also relieved so much stress the few weeks leading up to the wedding when everything kicks into full gear with all the vendors and coordination. For the actual day of, Holly and her team were available to ensure everything ran smooth and on time. I never heard of a single thing that went wrong and that was because if it did, she deflicted it and fixed it right then. I can't recommend Holly and Simply Sweet Weddings enough, you won't regret it, I promise!!

    Holly & Erin were AMAZING as my day of coordinators. Initially, I was on a strict budget for my wedding and I was unsure about pricing (I've never been married before and didn't know how much wedding coordinators should cost). However, I made some room and I am SO GLAD that I did! They were so readily available and eager to answer any & all questions that I had. Holly is organized, friendly, and has a lot of wedding industry contacts. Erin was my actual day of coordinator and she was ready, organized, and was able to make the flow of the wedding perfect. I cannot say enough about these ladies. I would definitely recommend them any time! They made my day go very smoothly and they took care of everything so I could relax and just enjoy the special day!

    I don't have enough words to thank Holly and her team for making my wedding day go so smoothly! From her patience in getting our day of timeline down to the minute to setting up all of my DIY wedding items, Holly and her team did it all! Holly is not only detail oriented, as every wedding planner should be, but she is so thoughtful. When she found out that my parents and some of our guests were more comfortable speaking our native language, she hired a Vietnamese-speaking assistant to ensure that they could better serve us and our guests. I was so touched by that and thankful for her sensitivity! I had a large wedding and Holly was able to handle it with no problem. We were always on time and all planned events went smoothly and on schedule! I enjoyed my wedding so much because Holly and her team were very accommodating and so flexible. There was no dull moment in the night and what I most appreciated was that they were never pushy, as some coordinators can be when pressed to stick to a schedule. I promise you, choosing Holly will be the best thing you will do in your wedding planning! She is what puts sweet in Simply Sweet Weddings & Events!

    I wish the rating went higher than a 5. I honestly cannot say enough about Holly and her team. Without a doubt, I would not have made it through my wedding day and the whole planning process if it weren't for Holly. I was reluctant to spend the money on a coordinator, but it is by fay, the wisest money spent. When you spend a whole year planning a wedding; imagining every detail and how things will look, you hope that when the day comes, everything will happen just as you envisioned it. On my day, this was the case. Aside from some major WIND issues, which Holly and her team were able to work miraculously around, EVERYTHING that I had dreamed of for the past year came to life. Holly is incredibly sweet and lovely, but is firm and approaches obstacles with a calm, friendly smile. I never felt worried about anything when I knew Holly was in charge. I emailed her on several occasions to vent about things that I was worried about asked her NUMEROUS questions any time one popped in my head; every time, she responded quickly and with such confidence that it always put my mind at ease. She handled all the dirty details and coordinated with all of my vendors to ensure everyone was prompt, which allowed me to enjoy my day with as little stress as possible. My personal "day of" assistant, Ashley was amazing as well. Need chapstick? She's got it. An extra bobby pin? She's got it. There is not one thing I would change about my wedding day and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Holly's services. 100%!

    We decided to hire a wedding coordinator so that we (me, my (now) husband, and our families) could just enjoy the wedding day without having to worry about the details. I had to convince my husband that it would be worth the expense. It was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Holly was wonderful to work with and she customized a package to the level of assistance we needed. She assured us that we could get everything done in time (we hired Holly about 2.5 months before our wedding). We met with Holly three times before the wedding. The first time was to go over design ideas and get inspiration for our ceremony and reception. The second meeting was to plan out the timeline for the day. The last meeting was at the venue (we had the ceremony and reception at the same place) to finalize the details with the coordinator at the venue. Holly also responded quickly to emails or phone calls if I had questions in between meetings. She provided excellent referrals to local vendors, which was important to me since I had recently moved to the area.
    I was not stressed at all the weekend of the wedding. I knew that everything was in Holly’s capable hands. Holly and her team of 2 assistants ensured everything went smoothly from picture taking before the ceremony to getting everything to my in-law’s car at the end of the night. I would hire Simply Sweet Weddings again in a heartbeat.

    Holly and Tatiana were AMAZING! I don't even know where to start. They seamlessly helped my husband and I with the day-of coordination of our 300+ guest outdoor summer wedding. You would have never known it unexpectedly rained causing our team to have to set up later than planned in the courtyard, that our seating cards got botched the morning of!, or a million other little flukes that I didn't have to worry about because Simply Sweet Weddings was there to save the day.

    Knowing that most of our guests and musicians spoke Spanish, Holly brought Tatiana on board to help guide our guests and coordinate our Mariachi and Banda Sinaloense. They set up table decor beautifully, and made decisions I knew I could trust given their excellent track record. Our guests are still raving about our wedding!

    One of the sweetest moments of the night: I couldn't take my heels any longer and an assistant from Simply Sweet was there in a flash with my slippers in hand and a chair for me to change my shoes. !! I don't think it's possible to be any sweeter!

    I was a bride-to-be in denial that I needed professional help to plan my wedding, until a month before when I realized I was losing my mind! Holly was very professional, flexible with her services to work around my budget, and extremely reliable. Most of all: She was an absolute pleasure to work with. My only regret is not contacting her sooner.

    Because of Holly and Tatiana, my husband, myself, and our family enjoyed our wedding as guests-- not as hosts or coordinators. If you're not sure if you need or can afford a planner/coordinator, do yourself a favor and send Holly an email. It was probably one of the best decisions I made for my wedding... after saying "I Do" to my husband, of course!

    My now husband and I hired Holly about 6 months for partial planning services before our wedding date, so there was a lot of work needed to be done. From the beginning I knew that we were going to be just fine because of Holly's organization and detailed timeline for us! I made sure to follow the timeline and wedding planning was actually very managable! Holly is very down to earth, friendly, easy to talk to, organized, professional! I was blown away how beautiful my venue (Franciscan Gardens) looked on my wedding day. Everything looked perfect and flawless!!! She also had given us great vendor referrals as well. I believe all brides need a wedding planner because it does take off the stress of the wedding day, knowing that everything is taken care of! You won't regret it.     We recently held our wedding in Irvine and Holly/ Bridget did the most amazing job on our day. As we live in Ireland it was more than a challenge to plan a wedding in CA. I found Holly through our catering manager at the Hyatt in Irvine and I am SOOO glad she recommended Holly. Holly and Bridget were able to take our vision and bring it to life!     Holly is absolutely the best to work with! I'm a control freak, so being able to let go on my wedding day and be able to enjoy every minute of it without having to worry whether things would run smoothly was a huge deal...and I was able to, thanks to Holly! I'm writing this review two years late - the craziness of life has gotten in the way - but I've always had it in the back of my mind to write a rave review because Holly truly did a great job at my wedding.

    She has a great team with her and goes above and beyond the call of duty. We had about 450 guests + about 10 or so other vendors to be coordinated, and Holly and her team were able to make the whole event run smoothly. In the days leading up to the wedding, Holly was always quick to respond to my questions, which is always important. I know it was really hard work to coordinate all the people in the wedding, and Holly and her team were very pleasant yet firm with everone, just the wany they needed to be. They also had some pretty cool ideas to help make our wedding unique. Simply Sweet Weddings is definitely the way to go!

    Holly is the best of the best!! I never could have found a better coordinator and team to plan my wedding! Even being a wedding coordinator myself, I knew that she was definitely someone I needed to have there on the day of my wedding! Throughout the day before the wedding started, the little details and everything being set up never even crossed my mind because I knew it was all in perfect hands and that I had nothing to worry about!     Book now – don't wait! Holly and her team did an amazing job coordinating our daughter's wedding. Nothing went wrong the entire day and we have her to thank for that. She served as a 'day of' planner for us, but also as someone we could turn to for questions and perspective. She was a joy to work with the months before the wedding. Holly was always extremely organized, and communicated consistantly with all the vendors involved as well as the wedding party and family members. All of our other vendors praised her professionalism and cooperative attitude. We felt so at ease the day of the wedding because we knew she was there to keep it all together for us.     I was referred to Holly by one of her former brides and I am so thankful for the recommendation. Holly was the first wedding coordinator I “interviewed” and she was also the last. I immediately felt comfortable with her and knew she would be the perfect person to help me on our special day! I LOVED Holly’s planning sheets and itineraries- she was unbelievably organized which helped my wedding party know the day of events and helped me organize my own thoughts for family photos & music selections. She was also a great communicator- anytime I need something I knew she was only an email or call away. I can’t express how much I appreciate all Holly’s hard work, but I will say that we were fortunate enough to not have any problems (that I knew of) at the wedding- THANK YOU HOLLY!

    From day one I loved Holly. We connected right away; I was comfortable bouncing ideas off of her and getting inspiration from her- it was a perfect fit. More importantly, she was available whenever we needed her, was informative about all aspects of the business, and provided guidance and solutions as we worked out every detail of the wedding. My husband and I picked a venue where we literally had to bring in/rent everything you could possibly need to create a dream wedding. Seamlessly, Holly helped us pull it all together. Our package was perfect for us- she offered vendor suggestions and negotiations for us, we had several face to face meetings as well as phone chats and unlimited email, she was the liaison between myself and several vendors as we got closer to the day, she ensured our timeline was correct and that my family, friends, and vendors were on board, she brought in her team of girls all vested in my wedding as much as she was, and she was there for our rehearsal as well as the entire day of our wedding. AMAZING! Not only did she help with the business side of the wedding, she became a strong support system for me and a friend. This day could not have happened without her expertise and the knowledge of what really goes into a wedding. In fact, I can't even tell you the things that went on behind the scenes, and to me, that is what makes a great wedding planner. Words cannot describe the gratitude we feel for Holly's commitment to our special day. This day will be looked at as one of the most important days in our lives and we couldn't be happier that we had Simply Sweet Weddings there with us to make it possible.

    First I would like to say what a wonderful job you and your staff have done for your wonderful day. I know that the weather was a major factor that day but, I really admire your hard work in getting things done. I really liked the fact that you went above and beyond a couple times in getting things completed. Your timeline you made along with getting things organized really went well as far as keeping Susan and me on track. With you working with our vendors made things go very smoothly. You did a great job in getting the Hilton staff moving when it came time to bring out the bride to the beach. I hope you enjoyed the food and the reception.     I had the pleasuer of working with Holly at the Wydham Hotel in Costa Mesa. We immediately connected and it was smooth sailing from there! Holly is SUPER SWEET and so easy to get a long with.     From the very first meeting with Holly and Kira I knew we would be in good hands. The Simply Sweet Team was extremely organized and kept me on track through the whole planning process. Kira and Holly covered things in the timeline that I had not even thought about! They were both very professional and knew when to give the perfect suggestion when I needed it. Kira and two assistants were there with me on my actual wedding day. I can't thank Kira enough for keeping everyone on track and in line (I know how distracted my group...not to mention my new husband...can get!) all the way through the reception's end. What a huge help! It allowed me to relax and actually be a guest at my own wedding. Thank you Holly and Kira! :)

    I used Kira of Simply Sweet Weddings for my Wedding Rehearsal and Day-Of Coordination. It was the best wedding decision I made. I wasn’t sure why I would need a coordinator- I just thought it would all come together- BUT, upon my married friend’s advice I secured Kira for our date.
    All I have to say is- Now I know why. Day-Of coordination isn’t a luxury- it’s a necessity. Especially when you have the amazing talent of Simply Sweet Weddings by your side.
    Kira arrived at our rehearsal earlier than I did, meet with our venue manager and had all the logistics of our ceremony space figured out without me having to say a word.
    When the big day arrived, the hours seemed to mold together. Being in the wedding industry myself as a photographer, I knew this would happen. Since I am very familiar with the schedule weddings run on, I thought that I could take charge of my timeline. Not a chance! Thankfully, Kira was there. I didn’t have to think about the set-up, the rings and marriage license, the ceremony or how any of the many details I had worked so hard on were going to come together. At ceremony time, Kira had everything ready to go.
    I could go on. However, the biggest joy was how beautiful everything looked. I had drawn out the table and décor layout. Kira asked me early on if it was OK that she made adjustments. She knew from experience that some of my plans logistically and visually might not work. I completely trusted her and let her do her thing. Well, that is exactly why she is so great at what she does. She thought of things I hadn’t and it worked a thousand times better than my original plan. I was blown away.
    Simply Sweet Weddings made my wedding so enjoyable! We were able to relax and be in the moment. In fact, when my wedding dress was on and my Mother-in-Law came in the room the first thing she said was, “Kira is worth her weight in gold”. And she is.
    What an UNBELIEVABLE job. Any couple would be blessed to have SSW at their wedding!

    Holly coordinating my wedding made me want to get married again, she made it so easy and fun. She was responsive, on top of everything, and so positive and full of energy. She was also very knowledgeable, answered all our questions at the rehearsal, and took care of everything on the day-of; I didn't have to worry about a thing. When I returned to work a week later, someone asked if anything went wrong at the wedding - I answered "no" and realized there were no problems because Holly was there.

    Having a Day Of Coordinator for my wedding was the best decision I made for my wedding. On the actual day of, I had not one ounce of stress or worry as Holly and her team were taking care of everything. I had a lot of details and decorations and tasks that needed to be done for the decorations on the day, and Holly and her team were outstanding. Not only did they get everything done fast, but also perfect and best of all, still kept attention to all the small details. After all the work I did to prep everything (table numbers, escort cards, bathroom signs, etc), it's always nerve racking to not actually be the one there to finally put it all up. To my great happiness, she did it perfectly and exactly how I wanted everything to look. Definitely the best investment for your wedding! Holly has such a sweet demeanor but also knows when to take charge. If there was ever any issue at our wedding, I never knew about it as she had all vendors contact her rather than me to lower my stress...amazing! Love you Holly!

    Our relationship with Holly began when she promptly came to our rescue a couple months before our wedding date, after our previous wedding planner was suddenly forced to take a leave of absence. We soon discovered that Holly wields a lovely combination of energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail. In the end, we had scores of guests tell us it was the most lovely wedding they'd been to. If that sounds overly self-congratulatory, I just mention it as a way of giving Holly the credit she deserves in helping orchestrate the myriad endless details that make up even the simplest of weddings. Wedding prep is hard, stressful, and full of unforeseen ridiculousness. Holly does a superb job making it all seem far more bearable than it would otherwise be, so that in the end, when it matters, you can actually get lost in the magic of the day-of. Thank you, Holly. We really couldn't have done it without you.

    From the moment I met Holly, I knew she was going to be the perfect wedding planner!! She came very highly recommended to me and I had an instant connection with her. She has amazing attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Holly was so professional, comforting, energetic, and fun to be around. She made the whole process of planning our wedding such a pleasant experience. Holly has become more than a wedding planner to me, she is also a friend.     From the moment I met Holly, I knew that she was the wedding planner for us! Her energy and passion for wedding planning was evident from the very beginning. Holly's creativity and organization allowed our wedding to go off with out a hitch; no detail went unnoticed. We were only engaged for two and a half months, but Holly was able to recommend our other vendors and make sure that none of our wedding dreams got passed up. My mom and I still refer to our team as the "dream team", and Holly was the dream leader. The day of our wedding, there was nothing that I was worried about. I was able to enjoy every moment with my husband and did not even think twice about what needed to be done next. All of our guests and family members raved about how sweet and helpful Holly was.     Holly was our coordinator for the day of the wedding. She has a great personality, very courteous and friendly. We didn't worry about a thing that day and we were very pleased with the outcome. Holly is very professional, she replied to my emails quickly, she answered my questions and advised me when I had concerns. She is simple awesome! =)

    Holly and team helped plan and coordinate my dream Baby Shower, held at the Hotel Hanford in Costa Mesa. Holly was so great at listening to my ideas and providing inspiration to turn the whole dream into a reality. She found some really beautiful decor and accents to compliment our theme and organized everything so I didn't have to worry about a thing. She worked with all our other vendors (florals, photographer, linen rentals, etc.) to coordinate the details. And no detail was left out! She even did as much as make some of the desserts for our dessert table herself! She is quite the multi-talented girl :) There were times where I could have felt completely overwhelmed (being 7 months pregnant) but Holly handled everything so I didn't have to stress. I would highly recommend Holly and her team for ANY type of event you're planning!

    I knew I wanted Holly for the job the first time I met her. She had so much enthusiasm, professionalism and experience that I knew would benefit us on our special day and it definitely did. She was always quick in getting back to me and seemed to calm my nerves every time, especially the last few weeks before the big day. Our wedding day was perfect and even more beautiful than I had imagined! Holly and her team are amazing and I could not have asked for a better wedding planner.

    Holly and her staff (Allison and Vanessa) went above and beyond for my wedding. I would totally recommend them to anyone. They are the best and they are really good at what they do. My best friends and I all got married within on 2 year span of each other and they all agreed Holly and her girls were the best wedding planners we've worked with.

    While planning my wedding I realized that having a wedding coordinator is not a "luxury," it's a necessity.  :) I'm so glad I hired Holly.  She really is amazing, very responsive, organized and professional.  I like things done a certain way and I was scared of letting go. But after meeting Holly, I was sure that I would be able to trust her with my wedding.  I was able to relax and have fun.  She is ready for anything.  I forgot to put on my garter, no big deal, she had an extra one.  Whew! 

    She even fixed my bustle when it broke.  I don't know what I would have done without Holly and her team.  They took care of everything, from the beginning till the end.  It was so nice coming back to our room to find our gifts, flowers, etc. nicely organized.  Thanks, Holly!

    I was one of the crazy people that thought I could plan my wedding and enjoy myself on my wedding day without a planner! That lasted about two weeks. Holly was great, and from the moment we first met to discuss the wedding, I knew she would be great as she totally got the look and overall atmosphere I was going for. She was so helpful throughout the planning process and helped me coordinate with vendors. She thought of things I never would have! On my wedding day, she made sure everything went smoothly - people were in the right places at the right time, guests were happy, there were no issues!     Holly & the entire Simply Sweet Wedding team helped to make our wedding day a special one. I believe it was their first Indian wedding and they survived it with flying colors! Lots of chaos and lots of people, but Holly and her team managed to remain calm (not to mention keep me calm!) and handle everything professionally. She & her team were sincere, accommodating and very friendly, to myself & my husband, as well as all of our guests.

    I am happy others are allowing Holly & Simply Sweet be a part of their days; she truly cares about the couple and views them as friends, rather than just another wedding.

    I wish them all the success and will no doubt, refer future brides and grooms into their capable hands!

    I met Holly and that was it. She was the only wedding coordinator I "interviewe...d" - I liked her immensely, immediately and knew she was the one for me. Not to mention - I figured I had most of the "details" down so I didn't think there'd be much for Holly to do - WRONG. Holly was instrumental in so many ways - she set up our little altar (non denominational - wine crate decorated outdoor venue) - she made sure our little guest books (all themed differently and one for each table) were placed where they needed to be - she had my lipstick - she greeted my groom and I with a bottle of water each - as we got off the beach from photos - she hustled and she bustled (I hadn't a clue how to bustle). Imagine the power at your wedding going out for 2 1/2 hours - she didn't panic (nor did I). She improvised - she jumped on it - she dealt with it - she was amazing. The morning after - there was all of our things - all in one place - all organized - I'd lost track of my bouquet - it was there - every detail was looked after.     Originally I had decided that I wasn't going to hire a coordinator because I thought it was an easy way to save some money, however as the wedding date got closer and I began thinking about all the tiny details, for example, during the ceremony what's the order people will walk down the aisle, (sure you can google that stuff) but who is going to tell each person when they are supposed to go, like the timing? I also originally thought I would just have my family and in laws help with the set up before the guests arrived. As the date got closer however I realized it wasn't just may day, this was a special time for all of them, and it wasn't really fair to make my family set up when they should be enjoying the day getting pampered just like I was. Hiring Holly was the absolute best money I spent on my wedding. Hands down, no questions asked, period. I did not worry about one single detail the day of my wedding. I was a very DIY bride and had spent hours before the wedding making cute details that would make our special day ours and Holly totally got it. Everything was set up exactly how I had imagined and discussed before hand with holly and her team. It could not have gone more perfectly. I would 100% recommend every bride to hire holly as their coordinator. I could not say anything I would have changed or would have liked her to do better. From helping our slightly wild group during the rehearsal figure out what they were all supposed to do, to answering tons of my emails and texts before the big day, to meetings before the date to finalize all the details. Holly also was a huge help by coordinating with all of the venders to make sure everyone knew exactly what they were doing and at what time she needed them there. There is literally no way I could have done everything she did and had such an amazingly perfect wedding day. To be able to be carefree and enjoy my new husband and our friends and family was what made our day so unbelievable special. Thanks again to Holly and her great team, Ryan and I appreciate everything you guys did to help make our day so perfect.

    Holly and her team did everything they could to make my wedding day smooth and perfect! My family and I did not have to worry about a single thing on our day, and it was so comforting to know that we were in good hands. When we walked into the reception, we were blown away by how incredible everything looked, and our guests were super impressed too! Not only did Holly and Simply Sweet Weddings get our vision perfectly, but she was there the whole day and night to make sure everything was spot on. Every time I needed something, one of the girls knew exactly where I had put it and went to get it for me. I cannot imagine working with anyone else and I am SO happy that we had Holly's help!

    Alejandra and I started working with Holly almost a year before the wedding as she was the coordinator at the place we got married at when we first met her. When she became an independent coordinator she was a perfect fit for us. She was very easy to work with and very understanding of what we needed/wanted and with the inevitable frustrations we had with some of our vendors. I would recommend her highly to other couples.

    To say that Holly was the best wedding planner, would be an understatement. There is no way that our wedding day would have gone as smoothly and seamlessly, if it wasn't for her. She worked amazingly with all our vendors and most of all was the only person I felt comfortable "giving up the reins" to on our wedding day. She knew things I wanted before I even knew I wanted them. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone getting married. She will be planning all of our important events in the future and my mom has already booked her for my brother's wedding (and he hasn't even met his girlfriend yet).

    I think my dad said it best, "Holly's service was worth twice as much as it cost us".... my husband and I totally agree. Holly's hard work and extra planning paid dividends during the week of the wedding and the day of, every single detail was covered with exceptional attention and knowledge. Holly has tons of experience, she knows the industry well, and she has great taste. I love Holly to pieces and if I could do it all over I would absolutely hire her again!     My husband and I were really glad that we chose Simply Sweet Weddings to arrange our wedding day. We wanted a simple but elegant and sophisticated wedding and that is exactly what we got. Holly was so great to work with, she was so enthusiastic about planning the wedding. I feel lucky that she was more like a friend during the process. She listened to what I wanted but helped me to do it in a way that we could afford. I would definitely recommend Simply Sweet Weddings and Holly for planning your wedding. You won't be disappointed.

    I had my wedding at the Nixon library and used simply sweet weddings and events. I initially wanted a day of coordinator holly (owner) was very accommodating in tailoring a perfect contract that suited my needs. I later decided I wanted to expand her services to do her full service. I had the absolute best experience with holly and her entire staff they were AMAZING... Seriously. My wedding would of not been the same with out they. They are all very organized and professional. I feel the money I spent for wedding coordination was 110% well spent.

    Thank-you holly and Erin I couldn't of done it without you. I will absolutely recommend to any bride!!!

    Holly and her team were amazing on my wedding day!! She brought in multiple assistants to make our day run seamlessly and I was so relaxed throughout the whole event! The only, tiny, improvement she could make was that our older attendees started leaving early and the favors weren't out yet. In addition, our gift box was not set up long enough before the reception. But these are extremely small details that pale in comparison to how wonderfully smooth the whole day was. Thank you Holly and the team at Simply Sweet Weddings!!
    (Holly was also very prompt in responding to emails and very professional. I truly appreciated this quality during the planning process.)

    The wedding went on without a hitch and a large part of that was due to Holly and her team. From the moment we met Holly, my wife and her hit it off and we knew we'd be in good hands for our wedding weekend.

    Having her expertise, her knowledge of the venue, and enthusiasm was vital, especially since we were planning a destination wedding in Southern California and we were located in DC and Chicago respectively.

    Holly and her team were there early on Friday for our welcome event, had the welcome bags set up well before guests left, and were smiling throughout the day.

    Indian weddings tend to me large, hectic, and described by many as organized chaos. But my wife planned every detail and Holly was in sync with her and know where to put her team every minute of that very long but enjoyable day.

    My wife put a lot of time and effort into planning the day, but obliviously she couldn't conduct the days events herself, but Holly stepped in seamlessly. The umbrellas and programs were up at the wedding venue, the food and drinks made regular rounds, and the decorations and set up of the reception was like clock work and we didn't have to follow up with any of the vendors.

    Holly's team was instrumental for the weekend and played a role in what many of our guests described as, "the most fun they've ever had at a wedding." We recommend her and hope you have the same great experience we do.

    Do NOT use SimplySweet Weddings!

    Working with Melissa Churlonis was a nightmare. She was extremely bigoted in her approach: nice to us when we took her suggestions and when we had other ideas she would get instantly nasty.

    She started out by giving us suggestions for vendors that she preferred but we had found our own photographer, videographer, DJ and bakery. The minute she knew we weren't using one of her people her emails and texts would become very snarky and short. When we decided to go with the florist that she recommended she was sooooo happy but I was so disappointed with the florist on the wedding day, who did not include the one type of flower that I had requested!

    As any good coordinator should, she was insistent that the certificates of insurance for each vendor be sent in a month early, which they all did. About a week before the wedding she wrote an irate email to us and the vendors stating that most of the vendors had not used the correct wording in the insurance agreement. She was very frustrated to coordinate that at the last minute and my fiance and I were left wondering why she hadn't opened the attachments 3 weeks prior to check if the certificates were correct.

    Another thing the coordinator should do is pay detailed attention to the wedding day timeline. Melissa asked us to update it and when we would do so she would only plug about half of the items in on the timeline document (which is important because it is shared with the other vendors) and leave mistakes in it all over the place.

    She told us right off the bat that she wouldn't be on site on the wedding day, but her assistant Sheri Noya would handle everything. We were fine with that especially after working with Melissa for 6 months to plan everything. Sheri is very sweet but we couldn't find her half the time at the wedding reception and my husband and I ended up arranging the grand exit and handing out streamers to our guests ourselves! The tables were set nicely and the service was overall perfect... but the Hyatt forgot to serve chardonnay even though we had made a special request and Sheri was not available to help us figure that out. But all in all I think that Sheri was pretty chill and drama-free and she probably deserves a better company.
