Sydney from Simply Sweet was awesome! She let us try 4 different flavors for the cake with mini cupcakes which was so much fun. The cake ended up looking beautiful and she worked closely with our florist to decorate it exactly how we wanted. -

Sydney's cakes were so incredibly tasty! And they are beautiful. She let me adjust the flavors as we got closer to our wedding day. And after the wedding, I went back to order a birthday cake from her for my husband because we loved our wedding cake so much! Thank you, Sydney!!

Sydney was a joy to work with! She was so receptive of my vision for the design of our wedding cake and worked diligently with me to make it happen. We also loved the taste of our cake, which is no small feat as it was a vegan/gluten free almond cake with vegan almond buttercream! So delicious! From our tasting to the big day Sydney was so helpful, professional and kind while delivering a memorable piece of our wedding day. We would highly recommend working with her for your wedding cake needs! -

Exactly What We Wanted!
We hired Sydney for a custom wedding cake. The design we wanted was very untraditional and she nailed it with just a verbal description. Our guests loved the cake. The design was special and unique to us and the flavors were delicious!
Sydney was easy to work with, reliable and she "got it" right away when we explained what we wanted. -

Gorgeous, tasty wedding cake!
Sydney made us a beautiful, bespoke wedding cake for our August wedding. Not only was it beautiful, but it was absolutely delicious, and tailored to our tastes, with a variety of flavours for our guests to choose from. Working with Sydney was a delight, as she was responsive, friendly, and easily and happily accommodated our needs and requests, including a cake tasting via Skype as I could not attend in person. We were pleased with the whole experience of working with Simply Sweet, and would not hesitate to recommend Sydney, or use her again in the future. -

Awesome! Best wedding cupcakes ever!

We wanted more than just a wedding cake and ended up getting a dessert spread. The tasting was wonderful, and although we didn't eat any of the desserts at the wedding itself, our guests enjoyed them. -

Working with Simply Sweet was one of the highlights of our wedding! Sydney was so accommodating with our dietary restrictions and indecisiveness, she truly made the experience enjoyable. We had her make more than a traditional wedding cake and are so happy we did. Her decorated sugar cookies, macaroons and cupcakes were a huge hit! -

Our wedding cake was the MOST delicious ever! Sydney was delightful to work with. We chose carrot cake, my personal favorite, and Sydney's was incredible. She has a zillion other flavor options, and can customize pretty much anything to your specifications. We elected to do a small cutting cake and sheet cakes for our guests, and it worked out great. We highly recommend her! -

Cutest Little Cutting Cake
Simply Sweet was the best choice for local desserts! Contacting Sydney was quick and easy! We did a “to go” tasting where we picked up a box of cupcakes and tried them at home together. We went with a simple cake design and she coordinated with my florist to arrange the most simplistic, but beatiful design of flowers on top that matched my style exactly! -

Simply Sweet Bakery makes delicious and beautiful custom desserts and cakes! Sydney made my gorgeous naked "birthday cake" wedding cake that my wedding guests are still raving about. She also made custom llama bride and groom cookies that were so adorable and yummy. Myself and my family has ordered from her for other occasions as well. She is our go-to baker when we need something cute and delish!! -

Awesome wedding cake
We really loved our wedding cake from simply sweet! It was just what I asked for and reasonably priced, especially for the detail that was on it. It tasted awesome! We got lemon cake with blueberry filling (my favorite) and a white cake with raspberry filling. The quality of the cake was great in both look and taste and GREAT value. -

We had one guest even go in for five cupcakes because they tasted so delicious. We ordered extra cupcakes so we would have some to eat after the wedding & we were really glad we got to enjoy all of the different flavored cupcakes Sydney made for our wedding!

Sarah Sent on 05/07/2018Nearly all the chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting cupcakes were gone by the time I got to them but the key lime cupcakes with graham cracker dusting were the ones I heard the most about (all good things!). My husband was pleasantly surprised by our small, simple chocolate cake and we are hoping it tastes almost as good just under a year from now!

We wanted something simple, yet classy and the 2 tiered wedding cake and cupcakes were exactly that! Our guests loved the desserts! Pricing was extremely reasonable! Someone recommended that we contact Sydney for our wedding and we would highly recommend Simply Sweet to anyone else! -
