Sarah and Ari did an amazing job at my wedding! She worked with my crazy schedule as a student to fit in my trial appointment. They're such kind people and genuine! Everyone looked beautiful for the wedding. Sarah even stayed to touch up my hair and make-up between ceremonies due to our multicultural wedding schedule. Her pricing was so reasonable and worked amazing for our budget. Would highly recommend going to her for your wedding make-up and hair! -

Sarah and her team are the best hands down, no question. From the beginning the whole team was responsive, helpful, and flexible when it came to my bridal party's hair and makeup. We had myself along with my 6 bridesmaids and everyone was done in the planned time looking, and feeling, fabulous!! Makeup held up to my many tears, and hair looked fabulous, even after all the dancing. Love this team and you will too! -

I’d heard all the horror stories about brides getting stood up by their hair and makeup artists, so I took my time choosing the right one. I googled and searched for hours, literally. When I finally found Simply Sarah Jane, I knew she was the one from the moment we spoke. I was already having issues getting my venue to respond, and Sarah went above and beyond by calling the venue owner herself to help me get the answers I needed very early in the process. We’re talking March 2025 for a November 2025 wedding!
When it came time for my trial, she absolutely nailed it. I’m the kind of bride who has no idea what she wants, but Sarah looked at my dress, used her experience, and brought everything to life perfectly. When I tell you she’s awesome, I mean it. She’s awesome. (And the fact that she’s a Dallas Stars fan makes her even better!)
Wedding day was a breeze. She made everyone feel beautiful and absolutely crushed every hairstyle. If I could give her 20 stars, I would. Highly, highly recommend! -

Sarah Jane and Ari were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were so kind and made me so comfortable during both my trial and my wedding day. All of the girls loved their hair and makeup! I can't say enough good things about Sarah Jane and her team. When I was reaching out for quotes, Sarah Jane responded back promptly and was such a reasonably priced option. I have really thick and frizzy hair, so I was nervous my hair would be a lot to handle, but I did a hair and makeup trial for my bridals, and Sarah Jane and Madison were the sweetest. They took a photo of what I was thinking and exceeded my expectations. The communication with Tina was amazing and I loved how they sent me a detailed timeline. On our wedding day, they did a phenomenal job with my 6 bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and officiant. My group had a lot of diversity with many ethnicities and they did a great job of making everyone beautiful. Everyone was so happy with how everything turned out and I received many compliments on how sweet and great all the ladies were. Highly highly recommend them. -

Where do I begin? Let me just say I am SO thankful for Sarah and her amazing duo with Madison (she did my makeup). I scheduled my trial for a couple months prior to our wedding and it went seamlessly. I was thrilled with my look, I think I even cried, and they sent me pictures so I could reference and make any tweaks as necessary. I had given the team a couple of reference photos for my hair and asked for more of a soft makeup look - nothing too heavy. I also wanted to make sure that my makeup stayed put through the tears and my hairstyle would hold if it was windy, it would be April in Texas after all. I'm so thankful I did as it was incredibly windy on my wedding day, but my hair stayed in place flawlessly! I was even sent with extra bobby pins, dry shampoo for texture, a touch up kit for my lipstick, and communication from the team to my photographer to call Sarah in case they needed help fixing my hair! To top it all off, they were even able to fit my mom in to have her makeup done as she'd lost her eyelashes and eyebrows to chemo and she wasn't comfortable doing those herself. My mom was able to feel fantastic as mother of the bride on such a big day! Everything was thought of, all of my wants and needs addressed, fears allayed, and I couldn't have asked for a better duo to make me feel and look like a bride. You absolutely will NOT be disappointed! -

I booked Simply Sarah Jane for hair on my wedding day. She did hair for myself, my bridesmaids, and some members of my family. We all loved our hair and felt so beautiful! Sarah is such a skilled artist and can work on all types of hair. We all asked for different styles, and she nailed each one. She is also a perfectionist, which is what you want on your wedding day! Throughout the day, she was checking on everyone's hair and touching up any strays that she noticed with her keen eyes. I had asked for my hair down with luxurious waves, and it was absolutely stunning. I was initially planning to wear a simple veil, but I decided to ditch it because I wanted to show off her beautiful creation. In addition, Sarah is the sweetest and calmest person, and sitting in her hair was so relaxing. Thank you, Sarah, for being a part of this special day. I couldn't have asked for better makeup/hair artists for my wedding day!! I felt so beautiful. They listened to exactly what I wanted and were constantly checking in to see if I liked my makeup/hairstyle while getting ready. They were also extremely organized! I had 10 girls getting hair and makeup done the day of the wedding, and they brought on an extra makeup artist at no additional charge to make sure we finished in time for pictures and the ceremony. They were all super friendly and all of my bridesmaids and our mothers loved speaking with them.
When I first started looking at hair and makeup artists for my wedding day, I was appalled to see quotes in the $300s and above! THOSE ARE OVERRATED. Simply Sarah Jane is soooooo affordable and they do just as good if not better than those overpriced vendors. Plus, lashes are included (: They are seriously so talented, and I highly recommend them!! -

Sarah was awesome throughout the whole process even throughout the limitation with the Covid-19. Sarah kept us updated with all the information she had and was able to schedule me a hair and makeup trial as soon as her shop was able to open back up and once seeing how great she was, I was even more happy with our choice in makeup/hair artist. I forgot we had decided on coming in at noon instead of 11, but Sarah and her assistant(I feel terrible because she was so sweet, but I cannot remember her name for the life of me!) took it upon themselves to come in early as well to get set up! Then did the hair for all 8 of us girls and the make up for 4 of us, all before 5pm! They were so sweet and caring throughout the whole day and they really just fit right in with the bridesmaids’ and me. I couldn’t be more thankful to have chosen Sarah to help make us even more beautiful on my big day! 💕 -

From the very beginning Sarah Jane was so flexible and quick to respond. She spent the time doing exactly what I wanted at the first trial and then graciously dealt with me changing my mind and letting me come in for a second trial. Fast forward to the day of the wedding - her and her team were so quick, efficient, and just pleasant to be around. They kept everyone on schedule and most importantly happy. Sarah with Simply Sarah Jane, is an incredible stylist. I cannot recommended her enough! Before finding Sarah, I had recently just located to the DFW area. I was nervous to try a different hair stylist that wasn't whom I had used for years. I found Sarah in a facebook group and let me tell you she was and is the BEST!! She responded in a timely manner for any questions or concerns. My trial was wonderful and the updo I choose was a bit difficult, but she nailed it and I knew without a doubt she was going to do my hair! She helped me pick out the best hair piece for the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding... she arrived before time (like beat me there... oops). She managed to do 7 people's hair in 4 hours and EVERY SINGLE LADIES HAIR TURNED OUT AMAZING!!! I felt so beautiful thanks to her and my updo turned out PERFECT! 1000% recommend her. -

Sarah Jane and her team are AMAZING. They managed to do hair for 13 ladies, makeup for 9, and kept us on schedule the morning of the wedding. I did 2 hair trials with her, the first because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair, and the second for my bridal photos. Sarah took feedback like a champion after one of the trials, and my wedding day hair was the best it could have possibly been. I seriously adored it. She weaved flowers into my hair brought by my florist that morning, all of which stayed perfectly all day and made me feel like a Disney princess.
During the reception, there was a shooting scare at a club across the street from my venue (no one got hurt, everyone was fine, the party proceeded as normal after that, it just really scared us) which led to me crying during lockdown from the stress and trauma of it all. I mean like, full on SOBBING for 20 minutes straight. I wiped foundation all over my poor husband’s dress shirt while he calmed me down after we got the all clear. When I was ready to go back down to the party, I fully accepted the fact that I probably had just ruined my hair and makeup… but I looked in the mirror, and you could not even tell I had been crying. I couldn’t find on my face where the missing foundation was that got on his shirt, and my eye makeup? Still flawless. I went back downstairs and partied and took pictures and had a blast. At the end of the night I removed about 97 bobby pins from my rock solid, still gorgeous hair.
Weddings are stressful and I was a ball of nerves while we were getting ready. Sarah could tell, and worked to comfort and reassure me during the morning. I had gotten to know her during my trials, and it was so nice to have a familiar face doing my hair and makeup and making me feel gorgeous, and preparing me for a whirlwind day. Book Simply Sarah Jane, you simply won’t regret it. -

I cannot recommend Sarah with Simply Sarah Jane enough! She is an absolutely incredible stylist! Before I found Sarah, I was feeling worried and stressed trying to find someone to do my wedding hair for my big day. My hair is very naturally curly, and although straightens well, it can be difficult to style it certain ways. I had went and paid for two separate trials with other stylists and we struggled to create a wedding look that I was happy with. I found Sarah in a facebook bridal group through recommendations from other brides and was amazed at her work! I eventually went in for a trial, and the result literally had me in tears. I think my exact words were “I didn’t know my hair could look like that!” I immediately knew I wanted Sarah to do my wedding day hair! I was married on 11/11/19 and Sarah did hair for my mom, matron of honor, and myself. We all have very different hair styles and textures and she literally knocked it out of the park! My matron of honor and mom had no clue what they wanted to do and that didn’t even matter! With Sarah, you can come to her and have no idea what you want and within seconds she’s got an idea already figured out and its makes things so easy! Our hair was all stunning and uniquely beautiful. I truly felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and a big part of that was because of her! Sarah showed us how to get my veil in and out, and even left me with extra bobby pins and a bottle of hair spray just in case! I got so many compliments and my hair literally still looked close to perfect the next day! I am so thankful to have met Sarah and have already booked her for other events in the future! She is amazing at what she does and I can’t say thank you enough! -

I found Sarah through recommendations on a local Facebook group for brides and she came highly recommended. From the first moment I contacted her she was such a sweet lady and a truly genuine person. She was very responsive to texts and FB messages and more than happy to provide advice on hair questions as well as other wedding related questions. She is so talented with braids I was absolutely in love with the beautiful way she styled my bridesmaids hair, and as for me all I can say is WOW. I was in awe at how gorgeous my half up-do turned out. All I had to do was show her a picture and thrown in a few hair extensions for fullness and she re-created the look perfectly. I had so many guests come up to me at my wedding and tell me how gorgeous my hair was. Also, she is really great with feedback, if you aren't please with something don't be afraid to speak up, she wants you to be happy and she is willing to adjust all you need to do is say something. If I ever need another special occasion hair-do I will be contacting Sarah immediately. -

Sarah did my hair and 4 bridesmaids hair and my mom and fiancé's mom's hair the day of my wedding. Sarah did an amazing job, she ensured each lady had the best hair they could have had and it stayed all day in our hot Texas heat and humidity for my summer wedding. I will be using Sarah again in the future for other events, she made me feel extremely comfortable and her prices can't be beat. -

Words can’t even begin!!! 5 Stars isn’t enough!
Sarah is SO wonderful!!! I had just planned on having her do my hair for my wedding, as I had gone to her before, and the week of my wedding my makeup artist backed out, so I had nobody to do my makeup for my bridals, wedding, ANYTHING. Sarah found out what had happened and stepped up!! She offered to meet me at her salon at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday to do my makeup for my bridals, which I am so incredibly grateful for. She’s definitely a God-send! Would recommend her to EVERYBODY if I could! I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life then I did during my bridals and on my wedding day. -

Sarah is a magic worker! She did an amazing job on my hair! She went above and beyond my expectations! My hair held all night long, and I got multiple compliments on it! Simply needed for my day!
My hair and makeup were exactly what I hoped for and my bridesmaids all agree! She was promptly, affordable but worth so much more than she charged- so kind!! She was flexible for what I needed and very soothing on a day that could be so stressful. Not only was Sarah amazing, she was also intentional. She felt like apart of the wedding party, so kind fun and helpful! -

I’m not one to typically leave reviews, but I want prospective brides to know how my wedding day experience was …
First, Sarah was fabulous - extremely professional, friendly and truly wanted me to enjoy my hair and makeup experience. She listened to me and was a joy to work with.
The hair stylist, Natalie, was also amazing to work with. My entire bridal party loved her, she is just the sweetest girl and knows how to do some bomb updos!! She was also SO fast, I couldn’t believe how quickly she was getting everyone done.
The negative experience I had was due to the makeup girl who had a terrible attitude, was disrespectful towards myself and my family and was not professional whatsoever. I was genuinely upset on my wedding day after the way she acted, and I don’t wish that for any bride. She talked about her personal life 100% of the time she did everyone’s makeup and made the entire bridal party uncomfortable. I also didn’t appreciate that my bridal trial makeup was too dark for my skin tone, lashes were not curled and she did a totally different color eyeshadow on my wedding day after I asked her to mimic the trial eyeshadow. I really hope she improves for future brides.
My advice would be to find someone else for your wedding day makeup needs. As far as hair goes, Natalie is amazing and I’d 10/10 recommend!
