Our day was simple and beautiful! Ceremony took place on time and Ms. Michelle was wonderfully well spoken! The words chosen for the ceremony were thoughtfully written and executed flawlessly. Everything was absolutely perfect! The value for the price was so good. Michelle was so sweet and helpful. She was extremely flexible and just made everything so easy and stress free! She was extremely professional! Thank you so much Michelle for making our intimate ceremony even more than we dreamed it would be. We chose to use the Rain Garden across the street from the Aiken County Probate Court and again it was everything we dreamed it would be and more!! There are some photos attached to show off the Rain garden venue and it is one of Michelle’s fav venues on her simply marry us website.

Truly customized for wedding
We are not from the area and wanted to do an "ambush" wedding at the time we did our annual family pictures during our vacation. After we scheduled our family pictures we contacted our photographer privately, who we use every year (Jerry with Beach Photography Hilton Head), and told him what we were trying to do but we needed some help and it had to be top secret so our families didn't figure anything out. He put me in touch with Michelle and she gave us all the information we needed to get the beach permit and our marriage license. She customized our service/vows and even pretended to be our photographer's assistant to explain her presence at our picture session on the beach at sunrise, which meant she had to be on the beach by 5:45 a.m., true dedication. She played along and with her help and Jerry's we pulled off the perfect ambush wedding and had a sweet and simple ceremony full of love and wonderful memories. Michelle is a gem and we are so lucky to have her conduct our ceremony and without her, we could not have pulled off such an event.

We chose Michelle for our elopement ceremony in Hilton Head in March 2022. We live out of the area, so really didn’t know much about the area or the process in that state. Everything with Michelle was wonderful from start to finish. Michelle was absolutely amazing!! From the time we first started talking right down to the time of our ceremony. Weather didn’t stop anything and Michelle was quick to the change of plans. We are so thankfully to have met her! You won’t regret the decision to book!! We highly recommend!

Effortless Elopement
Michelle has a lovely, calm energy about her. She made the whole experience effortless. Because we only wanted 1 or 2 good commemorative photos, she was willling to snap photos for us and never made us feel rushed in the least. So happy with our officiant!
After deciding where we wanted to be married (beach on HHI), we set out to find our officiant. Not knowing exactly what we wanted, we contacted a few possibilities from online searches. I was impressed by Michelle's professionalism, responsiveness and the information she provided. We appreciated the examples she provided but we also felt comfortable adding in some elements that we wanted. We were so happy with the results as our ceremony felt incredible special to us. We are very grateful to Michelle for her role in our perfect day!

Absolutely easy and amazing!
Michelle and her partner, Alyssa, were so easy to work with! It's scary having a destination wedding. You never know what to expect and you're miles away. Michelle kept us informed the entire way and, we had a lot of fun, without the stress! The process was easy, and they came right to where we were staying on Hilton Head Island. From the moment I first spoke to Michelle I knew she was the one we needed to officiate our wedding. She was so personable, kind and caring. I connected with her on the first phone call and knew I didn't need to talk to anyone else. Michelle kept in contact with me regarding the requirements, process and items needed to ensure our wedding was exactly what we wanted.
On the day of our wedding, I was completely at ease, knowing Michelle was officiating our ceremony. She took the time to get to know us prior to the ceremony and it showed on our wedding day. She had our marriage license applications ready for us to sign and she took care of submitting them. We received our official marriage license via mail.
I can't praise Michelle enough for making out out of state, beach wedding perfect! I highly recommend Michelle and her services!

We decided to have an intimate ceremony (because of the pandemic) and had a very short time frame to plan. We found Michelle (of Simply Marry Us) and she was more than up to the task! We chose the officiant-only option as we already had a photographer (Sylvia Schtuz-also phenomenal!) so cannot speak to the photographer-add on service but Michelle was phenomenal. She was professional, timely, and even helped by mailing us the official wedding copies so that it would be easier for me to change my name after the wedding. She went above and beyond for us and went along with our quirks and provided a soothing presence for our ceremony-she genuinely cares and we were so lucky to have her as our officiant. Thank you Michelle! You made our day so special!

Perfect Wedding
Michelle was very accommodating and available last minute. I contacted her I think on Sunday night and by Monday we were agreed and ready to go for Saturday. I just loved Michelle. She did a wonderful job on our ceremony and even let me write our own. She arrived on time, answered all my questions, kept in touch every step on the way. I cannot say enough nice things about Michelle. I would recommend her to everyone who wants to get married. She also has someone to do photography as well and a very reasonable price.

Michelle was great and helped us have a perfect wedding. Michelle was an amazing officiant! My wife and I wanted a very simple and intimate ceremony. After seeing some great reviews I reached out to Michelle to let her know what we were looking for an responded back shortly after. Michelle was great through the whole process with sharing some thoughts on where we were thinking of having the ceremony and offered many suggestions some we didn't even think about. Had excellent back and forth communication from when I initially reached out to the day before confirming everything. Michelle was the perfect officiant for my wedding! Things were still developing as I hired her, but she was still very flexible and just rolled with the punches as we decided on a location, then nixed it and decided on another. The ceremony was very Spartan (by choice), but Michelle really made it so special and intimate with the vows that even I--someone who had been with my partner for 18 years already and am not a sentimental person in the least--teared up. Also, I have a bit of a speech disability and Michelle never missed a beat when I tripped up or had difficulty. It was, all told, the perfect ceremony for us. I'm so happy to have found her!
