TL;DR: If you want an insanely organized stress free day, hire Emma!
It's taken me almost 6 months post wedding to write this review because I truly did not know how to put into words how amazing working with Emma was. I remember having our initial phone call and stressing about everything. I had no idea what I was doing when it came to wedding planning and I felt this insane pressure to have this picture perfect day. Emma was absolutely amazing at calming me down and reassuring me that everything would be okay. We hired Emma for Day of Coordination and Design and she blew every expectation out of the water. Emma took the chaos of my brain and the million ideas I had and created a beautiful design board to work off from. Along with our photographer Emma helped create a timeline for the day full of intention. The day before the wedding we dropped of all wedding details and decor at the venue. I went into my wedding day having no stress about how the day would go or the venue would look because I knew Emma would absolutely nail every single detail. Emma is insanely professional and detailed oriented. She knows this business so well. More than that she is just an insanely kind and thoughtful human being. I truly cannot recommend Emma enough for day of coordination. -

Emma was great to work with! We found her to be incredibly flexible - we changed ideas several times, and throughout Emma offered her advice and suggested what might work best for our budget and for the venue. We had several phone calls with her to discuss details, and each time she refined the plans to perfectly match our vision. She was very communicative and was always available to hop on a phone call throughout the planning process. That said, she REALLY shines on the day of the wedding. In addition to coordinator duties, Emma also acted as our florist and overall wedding designer. She could not have done a better job meeting our vision and adding personal touches. Throughout the night, she made sure we had everything we needed and took care of the details to make everything run smoothly. The night went off without a hitch and we had so many comments about how beautiful the space looked. We are so thankful we hired Emma as our coordinator and designer! -

I don’t have enough good things to say about Emma and Simply Grater!!! We hired Emma to do all of the decorations and florals at our wedding venue, and from the moment we started working with her a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I don’t have an eye for decorating but had a clear vision, and after one detailed convo with Emma about my vision she sent over a detailed PDF with elements of my vision broken down beautifully and it was exactly as I had imagined. On the day of the event Emma arrived and got right to making the space look absolutely incredible. Can’t recommend her enough!!! -

I hired Emma as my day of coordinator and she was way more than that! She was very responsive to communication and a great resource. She is the definition of execution excellence and extremely professional. I had a 200 person wedding at a church followed by a reception at my family’s farm- which was a lot going on and I worried about nothing. I enjoyed my day. It was perfect. I recommend her to everyone! -

I could not recommend Emma more! We had a backyard wedding (~ 70 people) which meant we had to bring in all of our vendors, and have a rain plan - she came up with a plan A, B, and C as we were determined to have our ceremony in the backyard without a tent. I feel like she completely understood our vision for our wedding day and went above and beyond to make it happen. Emma was responsive and active leading up to the wedding and made sure everything was on track. On the day of our wedding we did have to change the order of events to avoid some rain and she handled all of that and kept the day flowing seamlessly. She was an absolute dream on the day of the wedding - handling changes in logistics and weather, helping with decor, drying chairs and table clothes, and all the other behind the scenes tasks so that my husband and myself didn't have to worry about anything. We would hire her for any event in the future without question. -

Above & Beyond!
Emma was absolutely amazing! She was my day of coordinator and I don’t know what we would have done with out her. We had great communication before the wedding to make sure all aspect were covered and all back up plans were in place. As much denial as I was in about the weather we had to advert to the rain plan and she pulled it together perfectly. Running around in the rain to get everyone to where they needed to be and on schedule. Her true MVP moment was when it finally stopped raining and she bailed out our bounce house, getting completely soaked, just so we could get it inflated for our reception. I know she did so much more than I know behind the scenes and I am truly grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again for any future events. -

Emma is the best of the best!
I could not be more grateful to have found Emma to help with not only coordination but also rentals and decor for our big day! I knew from our first phone call that we would be a great match, but Emma truly surpassed all expectations. She took the time to understand our vision for how we wanted our wedding to look and feel, as well as what wedding elements were most important to us. I was hoping for a warm, intimate, modern/minimal style wedding, and Emma totally understood my vision and was 100% onboard. She quickly became my go to resource for all things wedding. In the early stages of planning, she shared a plethora of vendor recommendations, created a mood board for me to share with prospective vendors, and answered (ALL) of my planning questions. As someone who had not personally been to many weddings, her expertise was so valuable to me.
As we neared the wedding date, she kept in constant communication, was always proactive, attending walk throughs, and helped to communicate with my entire vendor team to ensure everyone had timelines, floor plans etc. I felt so confident knowing that Emma was on top of it all!
And finally, my wedding day! I gave Emma a few decor pieces we wanted incorporated and left it all in her hands to decorate at her discretion - and she NAILED IT. Like, nailed it. She provided a STUNNING lounge set up, and everything was honestly just perfect. All while keeping everyone on track according to the timeline, and always making sure we were happy and taken care of. Honestly I feel like I gained a friend and am so sad to no longer be working together lol! Bottom line, Emma is the best of the best. She is timely, attentive, communicative and I am so so happy to have had her with me on my special day! -

I found Emma on WeddingWire while looking for an event designer and was so happy to learn that she also did day-of coordinating.
Emma was super responsive, attentive to what our needs were and very willing to make our budget work and look beautiful. So grateful to her for making our wedding look beautiful. -

Emma was the PERFECT fit for our wedding! She saw our vision exactly how we saw it and brought it all to life! She knows how to make anything work. Due to Covid, we had to change our plans and she made it all seamless. She created the most beautiful bouquet and flower decoration for our arbor. I was absolutely blown away by her ability to create the arbor décor on the spot!! All the little touches she did brought everything together. I would recommend Emma to every single person I know for any and all occasions!!! Can't wait to have her decorate for our one year anniversary party!! -

Working with Emma was great, she was extremely communicative throughout my wedding planning process. My husband and I were unconventional with some of our wedding day decisions, Emma supported us through them all and was extremely helpful the day of. We couldn't have done it without her!
