I honestly cannot give Jen a high enough rating! Jen’s floral arrangements and efforts exceeded my expectations and truly wowed everyone at my wedding with her talents! When you hire Jen, you are not only hiring a florist but you are hiring a woman with exceptional industry experience, service, and passion to make your dreams come true. Jen made the floral planning process a breeze and always shared her best ideas and insights. I will never forget the feeling of walking into the venue on the day of my wedding, seeing her floral arrangements, and being absolutely speechless by the amazing amount of intention and efforts Jen showed in each of the arrangements she created. Jennifer was my event designer/florist/day of wedding coordinator. I was a DIY bride and was recommended to Jennifer when I was hitting my wall panic. After talking to her for 5 minutes, I knew I had met the right person and felt a wave of relief. Jennifer listened to all of my unorganized ideas, steered me into picking out decor that looked great, and created the most beautiful flower arrangements that I’ve ever seen. I wanted a relax feel to my wedding and she delivered that ambiance but added a level of elegance that I could never have come up myself. If you are a DIY bride who needs help, then Jennifer is your lady. I highly recommend Jennifer and look forward to when I can use her services again.Simply Glamorous Floral & Events's reply:

Where do I even begin? Working with Jennifer was SUCH a joy. My first phone call with her gave me the peace of mind I needed to move forward and it only got better from there! She tuned into the vision we had for our wedding and then turned it up ten notches. I told her about a single flower I wanted incorporated into the bouquets and floral decor, and she extracted the most insanely gorgeous arrangements I could have imagined! She was an absolute trooper in 90+ degree weather and still managed to keep a huge smile on her face when delivering the bouquets to my bridesmaids and me. When she told me that much of my bridal bouquet came directly from her personal home garden, I was beyond touched. She is so incredibly genuine, real, and down to earth - definitely the type of person you want working and helping on such a special day. By the end of our day, Jennifer felt more like a friend of ours than a vendor - I’m just not sure what else she could have done any better. 11/10 would use again and again and recommend to anyone who needs some floral services for any event! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! :) -

Captured Our Vision To A Reality
Jennifer and her team are amazing. They were able to take the vision my wife and I had and turned it into a reality. We were blown away how beautiful the center pieces was and how well crafted the bouquet was put together. The guests really love how everything lit up and how the colors and plants blended with the San Diego Museum of Man.
Also, Jennifer and her team were able to decorate out our dessert table and transform the cake into a beautiful piece of art. We completely recommend Jennifer for any events you plan on having. -

She heard all of our ideas and helped us fill in any blanks we had. She is flexible yet professional which I'm sure you will appreciate while planning your wedding. We had much of our decor (centerpieces/arch/reception decor) taken care of before coming to her, but if I didn't have anything, she would have had everything I needed. She is a true wedding professional that provided flowers, decor schemes and rentals, set-up and tear down and overall wedding planning advice for our big day. She is incredibly kind and courteous and obviously cares about making a bride feel special and heard. She has great taste and a wealth of experience for an affordable price. When I first called Jennifer, I planned to schedule a phone meeting for a later date and time so we could discuss details, but she was totally happy talking to me for two hours right then and there. She eased my mind immediately, and did a great job of helping me find MY vision. After that, she was there every step of the way. It didnt matter how busy she was, she ALWAYS made time for me, and my millions of questions. As the event drew closer, she was even more amazing!! She helped me bring all of my crazy details together, put out fires, verified last minute details with all my vendors, AND somehow put together absolutely gorgeous bouquets, centerpiece arrangements, and decor. Seriously, this women rocks. She will be with you every step of the way, and she will always listen to you, which is so important. I would highly recommend Jennifer to any bride, as long as you're ready to be absolutely floored by how awesome she will make your wedding. -

I am not one of those brides who had my wedding planned for my whole life, so I thought it would be challenge for the florist to figure out what to do since I had no idea what I wanted. Well, it wasn't for Jennifer. When I first met with Jennifer, she brought pictures to help me figure out what I was looking for. Jennifer would ask me what aspects of pictures I liked and did not like to get a better sense of my taste. What she put together was SO beautiful! Everyone loved the centerpieces, floral arrangements at the ceremony, and the bouquet! Plus, the flowers were very reasonably priced! -

Bella Sent on 07/10/2012Jennifer did an amazing job with my bouquets and centerpieces! I told her what I liked, disliked and let her run with it. I didn't know exactly what I was going to get but I trusted her. Let me tell you I was blown away by the results! She gave me the lush, romantic, look I was going for and was amazingly able to stay within my budget! She has a great collection of milk glass and hotel silver so I didn't have to scour thrift stores! She even cut flowers from her own garden when they weren't available for my bouquet!
She is one cool chick with lots of talent and heart!

Holly Sent on 07/21/2018Jennifer is extremely talented and is able to take unique ideas and execute them with class. Our decor on wedding day was incredible. The minor issue was some of the colors of flowers were not as expected. She is hard to get in touch with however when we did reach her she is incredible and able to make our vision happen. She made our wedding look spectacular! Thank you Jennifer.

Unfortunately, my biggest problem was how difficult the process was all the way up to my wedding. Jennifer was really hard to get a hold of or even sit down for a meeting with. It took me 3 weeks of emailing her multiple times just to have a first consultation. I hired her in April, see her until July. I brought up the issue, she told me she had personal things going on but she apologized for being unprofessional. When we had our first meeting, we discussed my color palette, the number of bridesmaids and groomsmen, what the flower girls would carry (flower crowns and baskets), and colors. She had me send her Pinterest boards with my colors. I asked her to use blue hydrangeas and she told me that we could. I also remember specifically asking her not to use brass or brown because she had mentioned she had a lot and I didn’t feel like it went with the color palette. She also asked about pink roses but I told her no for the same reason. She emailed me about a month before my wedding, and said she would be reaching out soon to set up a final meeting. 2 days before my wedding, she calls me and lets me know that she “forgot” to reach out because of the same personal reasons she had assured me would not prevent her from doing her job a month prior. She gave me a lot of excuses on the phone and said she had it all under control.1 day before the wedding, she texts me while I was at my rehearsal dinner to ask me how many bridesmaids and groomsmen I had. That was really not a good sign to me, considering we had already discussed it in person and in my initial booking. On my wedding day, the florals were the wrong colors. Instead of blue, everything was purple. She added in the pink roses I specifically asked her not to. They were beautiful flowers, but they were not at all what I had asked for. She gave me my bouquet, made excuses about how she couldn’t find any blue and she couldn’t give me dead flowers. The final straw was when she told me I should be happy anyways because weddings are never perfect and it was a beautiful bouquet. I couldn’t even look at her, I was fighting tears at this point and I just told her I understood but I wish she would have let me know that before the wedding so I could have decided what I wanted to do instead of her assuming I would be ok with purples. I would have rather had all white. Overall, the service and communication were just poor. It took a weeks to even hear back or set up meetings. The color palette was completely wrong, and she used things I asked her not to, such as pink roses and brass and brown in the table spreads, which is even more upsetting because she had a clear guideline of the colors I wanted because she had my Pinterest board (I’ll attach pictures of her flowers and what I asked for). My flower girls never got their baskets and the flower crowns were way to large and uncomfortable for them. One took it off before walking down the aisle, and the other immediately after. A lot of roses were turning brown, and many of them completely fell apart before the ceremony was even over. She did not reach out to me to let me know she could not find what she was looking for, and instead of just apologizing she doubled down. I felt like I was really understanding about her personal life issues, but I feel as if she took andvan of that. I cannot recommend this business, due to their unprofessionalism and I unfortunately think that anyone looking for a florist for their wedding should look elsewhere.Simply Glamorous Floral & Events's reply:
I feel horrible reading this review. I work very hard at what I do. During this time working with my client, I had a very tragic death of a personal friend, past bride and her unborn child. Nevertheless, I continued to maintain a normal workload. The real problem with this, was the Client lived 45 minutes north of me, and because of her work and school schedule she was not available during my normal business hours. Yes, it was difficult to narrow down times. We managed to make it work with many phone calls, a site visit and an in-person consultation (which is what my contract states). My clients wedding was on Labor Day weekend and was extremely hot. I choose flowers that would hold best in the heat. In the floral industry we have a rule we go by, never show the bride- day-of any flowers prior to the bouquet hand off. My client's grandmother, while we were unloading, came and took pics of the flowers in transport boxes- due to many levels of steps for the load in and she showed the client. We as florist know once we unload, we have to fluff and add to the arrangements prior to placing the centerpieces, etc.. I did not get that chance. So, by the time I handed the bouquet to her she was already disappointed. I tried very hard to accommodate all the needs and demands of this client and looking at the pics of her inspirations and my work the only thing is there was not enough blue hydrangea. When I consult with any of my clients, I let them know that I am dealing with natural fresh flowers and broken supply chain, I cannot guarantee specific colors. When, Day-of during the setup, I realized how unhappy my client was, so I made an extra trip to find somewhere that had blue silk hydrangeas and was able to get some to add to the centerpieces. Again, I attempted to make this wedding a success. But reading this review I understand it was not enough. I wish my client the best in her marriage.
