Wow! Wow! Wow!! Richard was amazing to work with! I had a relatively small budget to work with for florals, but he was able to make my vision come true AND stay within my budget. He was incredibly flexible and truly went above and beyond. He even had us come in person to see a mock up of the centerpieces before the wedding. I wasn't 100% thrilled when I saw them, and he immediately brought me into the room where he keeps all of the flowers and together we changed things until I was 100% happy!! He even sent us home with a bouquet that day! It blew me away...I don't know many companies that actually assemble one of your centerpieces before the big day! On the wedding day, he delivered everything on time and it was all gorgeous! One of the staff at our venue actually told us our centerpieces were the most beautiful they had ever seen!! And the bouquets were gorgeous...I am STILL getting compliments a month later on how beautiful the flowers were. Working with Richard was an absolutely great decision and I am so happy with the work he did! Highly recommend!

Richard at Simply Elegant brought my wedding floral vision to life. I was going for a very specific, garden style, natural look and he listened to me very closely and delivered. Everything was beautiful and well made- from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the boutonnieres. He is quite flexible in meeting up with you and answers emails in a timely fashion. Two weeks before your wedding he gives you his personal cell number. On wedding day, he delivered as promised and there were no issues. I couldn't ask for much more! Overall, a great value and an easy process!

We came across this vendor via some promotional emails that they sent out. We weren't very hopeful as we visited many florists and weren't totally happy about what they offered. When we visited Simply Elegant Floral Decorators and met with Richard, we detailed out what we envisioned for our wedding and he immediately put together a sample centerpiece for us. We were very happy with what he offered at our budget range. He did a sample centerpiece for us on a separate day just to make sure the colors and the type of flowers to put in. However, it would be nice if he would do a sample for the bouquets as well. At the end, I was happy about the bouquets he made. Right before the wedding, he called to confirm the color of the ribbons for the girls' bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres and anything I wanted to add. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of him. On the wedding day, he delivered all the flowers timely and made the beautiful arrangements for our tables. Thanks you, Richard and team for the beautiful delivery of your work to our wedding!

From the moment I met with Richard, I knew he was the man for the job! He took the time to meet with me and listened attentively to every idea that I had. He also ensured me that he only does one wedding a day and that he is the man on the job. It gave me great comfort that he knew what I wanted and that he would be able to execute it on the big day! Early in the planning process, he created a sample centerpiece for me to see. After seeing what I asked for, I wanted to make changes to it which he graciously made and with no issue. He always said the bride has to be happy or he's not happy and he really means it. The day of my wedding was pure perfection. He arrived on time with all of the bouquets as well as flowers for my house. He then went to my church and then finally to where I was having the reception. All the flowers were absolutely gorgeous!! I couldn't have been happier. I recommend Richard to be your guy...there is no reason to look anywhere else. His flowers are exquisite, his work ethic is second to none and his prices are reasonable. Thank you Richard for delivering on every aspect of my day! We couldn't be happier. PS my guests were raving about the flowers as well!!!

Working with Richard was such a pleasant experience! The centerpieces for my daughter’s Sweet 16 were absolutely gorgeous and really added to the ambiance of the whole event. In fact, he took my original concept and made it even better with his artistic eye. His willingness to please us as well as accommodate any changes was most appreciated. The value was exceptional, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone planning an event!! We will definitely use him again. It was a pleasure to work with Richard. His years of experience, artistic eye and flexibility were incredibly appreciated. He came in person to visit both of our venues (as we had to change unexpectedly last minute) in order to make sure that size and design of all arrangements were tasteful and appropriate. It was also very easy to make appointments to meet in person. Flowers were delivered right on time and without any hiccups on our wedding day despite the fact that the locations of our reception and church ceremony were both changed four weeks before. I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet ... it looked exactly like the Pintrest picture that I showed him. All flowers were fresh and healthy and lasted long after the reception was over.

This florist did an amazing job on every piece for our wedding. They knew exactly what I was describing and made it come to life. So affordable. The florist was actually the only vendor from my wedding that I didn't have a issues with. I worked with Richard from Simply Elegant and I was so glad I did! He created exactly what we were looking for on our special day! We chose cherry blossom branches with a base of hydrangea and cylinder vases with live orchids and LED beneath each centerpiece to have them stand out...absolutely stunning!!! My bouquet was beautiful as was my bridesmaids bouquets...he is such a talented man...he will listen to your vision and create exactly what you are looking for.

Richard is amazing! I had an idea in my head and he brought it to life. He showed me my beautiful centerpieces months before my wedding to make sure they were exactly what I wanted. My cascading bouquet was gorgeous and more beautiful than I envisioned. Furthermore, it didn't fall apart even though it was being thrown around. Richard was the florist for my wedding on July 11th 2015. I was absolutely blown by his quality of work and realized that I made the best decision by choosing him. Not only were the arrangements beautiful, but the flowers were Extremely fresh. My guest were so impressed by the centerpieces, that I had people secretly coming to me begging to bring the centerpieces home. What makes Richard so special is that he truely does what's needed to make your dreams and visions a reality. Not only are his prices affordable, but the quality of work will exceed your expectations. Many other florist that I visited were focused on their own visions, what they wanted, and what they thought I could afford. Where as Richard did the exact opposite. He focuses on your ideas and desires first and only afterwards does he talk about price and how it can fit into your budget. Richard is the best of the best, do yourself a favor and choose him!!! You will not be disappointed!!

Richard was great! I wasn't a very picky bride in the floral department and I left it up to the professional. Richard created gorgeous bouquets for me and my girls and the center pieces and decor for our ceremony and accents for the reception were spot on. He is very punctual and is prepared for anything. Richard even made a site visit with my husband and I so that he could visualize the space and come up with a plan. The flowers looked gorgeous all day and complemented the wedding perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend Richard for all your floral needs.

Richard from Simply Elegant is simply amazing !! This is the second affaire we had used his decorating services and each time he was the best, the most professional and the most beautiful arrangements we have ever seen!! He did an excellent job on my son's Bar Mitzvah and he did an amazingly beautiful job on our wedding !! The hupah was breathtaking, all the guests' commented on how beautiful it was. The table decorations were amazing and so was the place card table. Richard does all this with a great pride and it shows. He is one of the best party vendors to deal and we dealt with a lot!!! I would use Simply Elegant decorative services again and again. He is simply the best !!!!

Richard is AMAZING. He was one of 3 floral vendors I met with when starting to plan my wedding. I told each vendor what kind of style I wanted and one or two flowers that I loved, and I let each show me their talent and creativity in making suggestions and putting together proposals. Richard blew the others away by far - through his gorgeous arrangements AND his reasonable prices. I was especially thrilled since I had wanted to use some less traditional flowers. He is always responsive, and he wants nothing more than for the results to be perfect and beautiful. He knew my vision and he made sure to nail it. The chuppah he built and decorated was absolutely stunning. Several guests said it was the most beautiful chuppah they'd ever seen (of course, I agree!). In fact, when we were leaving our wedding, a florist arrived to set up for the wedding following ours, and even she, a competitor, commented on how beautiful the centerpieces were! My brother has now booked Richard for his wedding, too. Trust Richard - he won't let you down!

How do you take a nice location and make it your dream wedding without breaking the bank. You go to Richard with your dreams and he makes them come true. He is a true artist and listens and he worked with us incorporating real and artifical flowers (both brdes had major allergies ) and no one was the wiser and I have a great bouquet to rememebr the day.
The design for the room and the tables was more then we expected. I remember looking around during our ceremony and amazed how he had caught our dream and it just added to the day.
He uses very fresh flowers as Its been a week and they all are still as if they were just cut. Everyone kept telling us how beautiful the place was.
Richard was also able to work with my other half who is a bit of a perfectionist and she was happy too.
This is the only place to go, you dont just want flowers you want your wedding to be a "Simply Elegant" event.

Richard Biancavilla from Simply Elegant is an amazing florist. We used him for our wedding this past March and honestly felt he met and surpassed all of our floral expectations. We found him by reading many happy reviews form his past clients so it is only proper to continue to back up his well-deserved great reputation with our review. So, I think one of the first things that concern people when it comes to flowers for an event is cost. So lets just get pricing out of the way by saying his pricing is more than reasonable and you definitely get more than you pay for. Upon meeting Richard we loved him right away. He is filled with great ideas and his demeanor is calm yet assertive, which we loved. We had an initial consultation where we immediately knew he was the man for the job followed up with a “sample” appointment. It was amazing…Richard put together sample arrangements of our centerpieces and had laid out all the flowers we could choose from in our color scheme. We were actually able to build our bouquets together and take them home! It was like a date night. A lot of fun and an amazing experience to actually see how beautiful the different flowers were going to come together. On the day of the wedding, Richard personally delivers everything and assures that anything you ask for will happen. He is surely a man who knows how to get the job done. Our bouquets were out of this world, our ceremony decorated beautifully, and the centerpieces at the reception were definitely showstoppers. Our family raved about all the flower designs. Richard was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was professional, organized and receptive to our ideas. I showed and emailed him several pictures of what I had in mind and he really made our vision come to life. He met with us several times throughout (with one of the locations being a site visit to the venue) and was extremely knowledgeable. As a bride with both a very large wedding AND wedding party, I was nervous along the way and he was always accommodating and responsive, tweaking our contract as needed with new things and responding almost immediately. Everyone couldn't get over how beautiful the centerpieces looked and we were extremely pleased with his work and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

We were very happy with the floral arrangements for our wedding day!

Richard has a lot of experience and skill. We gave him our basic preferences and guidelines, but we trusted him to make the final decisions. Richard did not let us down. He listened carefully to our ideas and met with us a few weeks before our event to show us some samples he put together. The samples were lovely, but the day-of arrangements really blew us away! The flowers were so beautiful, colorful, fresh, and expertly arranged. Richard delivered everything himself to ensure that nothing was harmed in transit. It is his policy not to overbook so that each event gets his full attention.

In addition to providing beautiful flowers, Richard was great to work with. He genuinely cared about our happiness and satisfaction on our wedding day. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. His pricing was very fair and he worked with us to stay within our budget.

Overall, we were left feeling that Richard went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend Simply Elegant!

Richard at Simply Elegant is awesome! From my first meeting with him up until the week before my wedding, he made me feel totally relaxed and was very responsive when I had a question or wanted to change my mind on flowers, etc. I came in with not a lot of direction for Richard on how to do the centerpieces, bouquets, etc. but just told him what flowers I liked and some general ideas I had and he completely blew me away! The centerpieces were amazing and just what I had envisioned and the bouquet's were beautiful as well!

Richard even provided some extra floral arrangements and had them delivered to my parent's house where myself and the bridesmaids all got ready, so that the house would look nice in some of the getting ready photos. Such a great touch!

I would definitely recommend Richard for not only the outstanding quality of his work but also for his great sense of humor and ease to work with.

I've worked in the Wedding Industry for over ten years and I've planned and overseen operations for Weddings of all sizes and budgets at venues throughout Long Island and Manhattan.

I was always amazed by his work and I felt comfortable with him from the moment I met him.

We used Simply Elegant for our backyard June 6th wedding in West Islip. Brides who are looking for reasonable prices and excellent service without a lot of fuss - look no further!! I was one of those brides who didn't care much about the flowers (but wanted them to be nice), didn't care about getting crazy over the top arrangements and service (but still wanted someone to be responsive) and didn't want to pay a fortune!! Richard and Simply Elegant Floral was amazing from start to finish!!! He was very responsive from the very first call we made to schedule the consultation and made himself available at the hours that worked for us. At the consultation I went in with only a couple of photos on Pinterest of what I thought I wanted and he took it from there! He helped us make decisions around the number of arrangements, table arrangements, who needed bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. He called us as the wedding got closer to confirm what type of flowers, time, etc. The day of weding is where he really shined - Richard showed up in person to deliver all the flowers and hand-decorate our arbor. Since I hadn't given him a ton of direction on my bouquet it ended up being more white than I had pictured. But no problem!! He brought out all his "arrangement" tools and got to work re-arranging, pulling from some of the other arrangements he had brought and my bouquet turned out beautifully! He even brought extra flowers for us to put in my hair (just in case) and extra flowers to run over to the cake decorator last minute - all for no extra charge! I really can't say how much I appreciate his personal service and flexibility in planning our special day. Book Richard and Simply Elegant Floral...you won't be disappointed!!!

Richard did such a great job on our wedding flowers! I am not a picky bride so I just showed him a few pictures of the bouquet styles I liked and trusted him to make them perfect. The wedding party flowers, petals down the aisle, simple table decorations (I had him add flowers to glass bottles I had purchased at an antique store), and two large arrangements for the ceremony were all just gorgeous. I received many compliments on the flowers and our pictures turned out great! Not to mention, Richard is just a fun person to work with. It's always a plus to have a wedding vendor you don't have to worry about and who isn't trying to rip you off just because it's a wedding! My husband and I always left his shop feeling happy and laughing over his sense of humor. The day of was very stress free, everything was delivered as expected and set up without us noticing/worrying about anything. Thank you Richard and team!

Richard is simply amazing. Since Im having a garden wedding I decided not to really go eleborate with the florals thinking that the setting would make up for it but his flowers and work just created even more beauty to the scene of the night. The colors, the arrangements were exactly what I wanted and he was a fun and easy guy to work with. A brides life is so much easier with vendors that you like, trust and enjoy working/meeting with. I didnt even get a chance to take a centerpiece home because by the end of the night people were already holding them to take home. His flowers are fresh and I recieved a lot of compliments from the staff, photographers and guest. Richard is absolutely amazing!! I had a vision and he executed it perfectly! I wanted three chandeliers decorated over the dance floor. When I walked into the ballroom I was at a loss for words. They looked beautiful! I was so happy when I saw them! Everything that Richard did, the centerpieces the bouquets and boutonnieres, the cake and the arrangements for the ceremony were breathtaking. I am so glad i worked with Richard. He made all of our flowers for our wedding this past Saturday. From the first consultation to the trial and our wedding day, it was wonderful. Richard was recommended to me by a friend from elementary school. She couldn't stop boasting about him, claiming that her flowers were by far the best part of her wedding. Well, I was married just this past Friday and I tell you that the flowers were also a favorite part of mine.

I am sure I was not the easiest of brides to work with: I had very clear ideas about what I wanted from the very beginning and was not very willing to waiver from my vision. But, Richard took my ideas and ran with it, turning what was inside my head into a reality and making it all even better than I could possibily imagined. His flowers are fresh and beautiful and his centerpieces are crafted with such love and precision, he is true craftsman at his work. Even the flowers hanging from the first couple of pews in the church were so much more than your standard flower and ribbion. They mimicked my centpieces perfectly and very given an equal amount of attention. He missed not a detail, from decorating the cake table, to the boutonnieres, to the corsages for our mothers. Needless to say, my bouquet also was perfection.

Overall, I can tell you that my wedding would not have been quite what it was without Richard, and my new husband and I are so thankful. We would recommend him to anyone who wants breathtaking flowers and unbeatable service at a very reasonable price. He went above an beyond our expectations in every way possible, so much so that by the end, we felt that we had worked not just with a fantastic vendor, but also with a friend.

Richard and Simply Elegant was a pleasure to work with and the work was fantastic! I am still getting compliments from my guests on my beautiful flowers and table centerpieces. He delivered exactly what we had agreed on and more. He was easy to work with and did not nickle and dime us for every little thing. Instead he was accommodating and helped create beautiful centerpieces that I Loved! He was great with showing us samples of centerpieces and making any changes to it that we thought might work better/look nicer. My bouquet was beautiful (and quite large) and he was able to use garden roses to make them look like peonies (which I love but were out of season and out of my price range). One of my bridesmaids actually thought they were peonies because they smelled and looked lovely! I would recommend Richard without any hesitation and will be recommending him to my family and friends planning events.

I found Richard through WeddingWire and chose him solely based on his reviews and the photos he had on his website. He was the only vendor that I used in my wedding that was not a personal recommendation so I was very anxious going into the first meeting. Richard calmed my nerves and walked me through every step of the process. He was always prompt with responding to my emails and worked with me in regards to my budget. He arrived to the church way before the ceremony was scheduled to begin and each bouquet and boutonniere was labeled for easy distribution. Richard was wonderful and I couldn't have imagined it to be any better. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL!

I cannot praise Richard highly enough for the beautiful floral arrangements he created for our wedding on July 7th. His work is impeccable, and created with originality and elegance.
We had our wedding at the Woodlands, which itself has such a wonderful atmosphere, but when the centerpieces were added, the warm, rich orange tones of the centerpieces and the votives on each table made the room glow. It was such a beautiful presentation.
The bridesmaids bouquets were beautifully coordinated with their dresses. He asked for trimmings from their dresses and even used them to cover the stems. A unique touch.
Richard is truly a wonderful man that conducts his business with pride and professionalism. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him. I hope to order flowers from him again soon!

I cannot thank Richard enough for making my June 8 wedding at the Watermill beautiful! Guests are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were.

Process: Richard is easygoing, creative, and professional. My husband and I met with Richard several times, to drop off payments and to discuss our floral arrangements. I showed him pictures of what I liked but also encouraged him to create what he thought was best. During our final meeting, the three table centerpiece options he created for me were beautiful. It was elegant and beautiful. I made minor changes and he was more than willing to accommodate. Richard will give you insight and his recommendation but he will never push you into a decision. He wants you to be happy with your choices since you are the bride.

Wedding Day: Richard arrived early with my personal flowers and centerpieces set up. The tables were perfect – clean, nicely decorated, and phenomenal centerpieces. I did not have the opportunity to see my bouquets prior to the wedding, so seeing it for the first time was a huge surprise. The bouquets blew me away – the color combination, size, and shape were excellent. It was something that I could not have envisioned or find in a magazine. The flowers were beautiful – mixture of garden roses, peonies, wax flowers, etc. I noticed the flowers were so FRESH, each petal was perfect. Each flower was full and open; I could tell that Richard put a lot of time and effort when putting it together. I received compliments from everyone. The cake was nicely decorated; a simple and elegant touch.

Richard is a joy to work with! If you want a creative and professional florist (with a great sense of humor), please go with Richard! He takes great pride in his work and will go out of his way to make your day perfect. He will make you a very happy bride (still beaming from ear to ear), I guarantee it! Richard was so helpful when it came to choosing my flowers. I really wanted my bridesmaids to have something simple and white and for me to have a bouquet that popped with color. We used Simply Elegant for our March wedding and could not have been more pleased with Richard's work. From start to finish he was amazing! Flowers were really important to me, I think they add so much elegance to any event. I met with several florists and everyone told me that I what I wanted was really expensive and not within my budget. However, when I met with Richard he told me I could absolutely have what I wanted and worked with my budget. I was able to send him ideas and met with him a bunch of times to work everything out. He was always accomodating if I had questions or wanted to make changes. Everyone loved our tall cherry blossom centerpieces and our arrangement of different flowers for the low centerpieces. Also, my bouquet was perfection! I had been obssessed with having a hot pink mini calla lily bouquet since I got engaged and the one he made for be was so pretty! He is such a pro and has been in the business for so long, that he just puts your mind at ease. If you are working with him you know everything will be perfect! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

What else can I say but AMAZING!! Richard was truly one of my best vendors! He is so awesome to work with. I didn't know what I wanted when we first met. I had some ideas, but didn't know for sure what I wanted. He worked with me through it all; even brought a sample centerpiece to my catering hall so I could see it in the room! When he showed me the flowers he had though to use in the bridesmaids bouquets, I was not crazy about them. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, but was nervous because I wouldn't see them until the day of the wedding, well ne NAILED it!! Richard was so accommodating too. I got married the week after Hurricane Sandy, and two days after the snowstorm that followed. He called me frequently to ensure me that everything was going to work out. Everyone at the wedding commented on how gorgeous the flowers were at the wedding and church. I could not be happier with the way things turned out.

All I can say is I'm so happy we met with Richard, when Raphael from Wedding Connection recommended him to us. From the start he was very helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. When we looked at our samples about 3 weeks before the wedding we just fell in love with his flower selections. He really is very talented. Come our wedding day, Richard came early to the hotel to drop off our bouquets and everyone was blown away by how lovely they were. During the reception, when normally people don't really care about the centerpieces, people were actually fighting for it. The flowers looked fresh, lasted for a long time and very gorgeous. I got married on July 28th, 2012 at Jericho Terrace. With all my heart I’m giving Richard five stars. At first I wasn’t sure if he can meet my expectations, but he was more than I could ask for! The centerpieces were fantastic! The flowers were fresh and full of color, crystals were hanging down from the vase, the vase was filled with water and inside there was and orchid floating… they were just breathtaking. All the guests were amazed. He decorated the cake exactly the way I asked him. He met all my expectations. And the price was great too! Richard did a beautiful job on all my wedding flowers....everything about them was amazing and I absolutely loved the flowers that was put on the cake, I love bright and vibrant colors and I feel like the flowers represented me and my personality....every picture I have seen from my wedding makes me so happy, the center pieces were gorgeous and they really brightened up the room...I wouldn't change a thing about flowers and I'm glad I hired Richard as my florist..
All the Flowers were fresh and the centerpieces lasted for almost a week after the wedding.. My bouquet was beautifully done! and the pearls and crystals were a special touch!.. ( my bouquet is in my fridge and they still look gorgoues 2 weeks later)

'Simply Elegant' went above and beyond our expectations. Our florist, Richard, did an amazing job and worked well with our budget. In fact, we feel we got more than what we bargained for. The arrangements were beautiful, exactly what we had in mind. He took a personal interest in our wishes and helped every step of the way. Additionally, he was very punctual on the wedding day. We didn't need to worry about the flowers that day at all.

Overall, this was one of our best values through our entire wedding process. We highly recommend 'Simply Elegant'.

Rich was wonderful throughout the wedding planning process. He listened to my ideas and implemented my vision. I was able to meet him at a floral depot to choose my flowers in person. He was always available to answer all of my questions and meet around my schedule.

I couldn't have been happier with the flowers on the day of the wedding. The bouqets and centerpieces were gorgeous, and we got a ton of compliments. Everything was flawless. The price was incredibly reasonable, and I would reccommend Simply Elegant for 100% satisfaction.

We used Simply Elegant for our wedding in June and could not have been more pleased with Richard's work. From start to finish he was amazing! Flowers were really important to me but I did not want to pay a fortune that I got quoted at the other local florists. I met with several florists and everyone told me that I what I wanted was really expensive and not within my budget. However, when I met with Richard he told me I could absolutely have what I wanted and worked with my budget. I was able to send him ideas and met with him a bunch of times to work everything out. He was always accomodating if I had questions or wanted to make changes. Everyone loved our high centerpieces with the led lights and hanging crystals and our arrangement of different flowers for the low centerpieces with the votive candles. Also, my bouquet was beyond perfection! My mom gave Richard a piece from her headpiece from her wedding, and he incorporated on the wrap of my bouquet so beautifully! My favorite thing about Simply elegant Flowers is that Richard is a one man band who only works on 1 wedding a day. So unlike other large businesses, he is the one who delivers the flowers to the venue to make sure it looks PERFECT! Which in my case, everything was done just right and he even added more than what I expected. He added rose petals to the front table and a large piece on our sweetheart table that blew me away!. He also added flowers to my cake which added just the right detail. I am so happy we chose to work with Richard and I will be using him for all big events moving forward!

Richard truly captured our vision for our country meets city themed wedding. He was also willing to work with our budget and provided great value for what we were looking for. Communication was thorough and consistent throughout the entire time that we worked with him and he was very responsive. We didn't get to see him on the actual day of the wedding but everything was delivered on time and arranged so beautifully! We were truly happy with the results. I worked with Richard from Simply Elegant. His work was truly amazing. I knew what flowers I wanted, but was unsure how to put it all together in a bouquet style. He was patient and worked with me to find the look I was going for. He even came out to the venue with the samples to show us how it would look at the venue, and not just in his showroom. When the flowers arrived at my house i was blown away the bouqets were even better than i imagined, and we did 3 alternating centerpieces at the venue. I gave him my budget, and he did everything in his power to stay within it, and give me exactly what i wanted...

Absolutely would recommend this florist to another bride...

Richard Biancavilla and the Simply Elegant Floral staff was a complete pleasure to work with for my May 23, 2013 wedding. Richard's eagerness and understanding of what I really wanted was refreshing. He was extremely flexible with my budget and made my dreams come true when it came to the particular look of my wedding theme. I wanted all white flowers with a touch of sparkle and class and he exceeded my expectations! He went above and beyond and went to my actual venue and showed me the final centerpiece and I almost cried. My friend is getting married in September and I recommended her to use him because he definitely knows how to give the bride just what her heart desires.

I cannot say enough good things about Richard and Simply Elegant. Our whole experience was incredibly positive. Richard provided us with gorgeous flowers and other decorations. He provided exactly what we wanted and put everything together in a beautiful way. The name Simply Elegant is absolutely perfect...we had more than one guest describe our flowers as simple and elegant (without knowing that was the name of our florist). Richard went beyond the call of duty, attending several meetings with our catering company to make sure that the decor would be what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend Simply Elegant, particularly for couples looking for gorgeous, understated flowers.

I loved Richard and the beautiful work that he did. The ceremony and reception were beautiful. The centerpieces and ceremony flowers were gorgeous. Richard even brought the flowers of the bridal party that came to my hotel so we could take early pictures. The bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquet were perfectly mixed in color and reflected exactly what I was looking for. Every flower was gorgeous. Richard was hands on throughout the entire process and always was in contact with us about when to pick flowers and payment dates. My only problem was that the venue did not give him enough time to set up for my ceremony, leaving the top and side of the canopy very bare. His team also decorated the wrong cocktail hour. I noticed that there weren't any flowers in my cocktail hour at all and when he looked into it, he found out that the wrong room got decorated. Overall, my wedding was gorgeous and no one missed the flowers.
